Scenario Idea

  • This is not a big week for scenarios, but is a big week for learning. There are two things to learn here:
  • Tip #1:
At Walgreens you can’t use a P&G register reward to pay for any other P&G deal so you need to put the Swiffer and Always deals together. I wish there was a reason why, but its best to just believe me and not do it.
  • Tip #2:Another trick to Walgreens is seen with the soft soap deal. If you have a deal made by the same brand for the same value reward then the barcode on the register reward will be the same number. This means you can’t use one RR to pay for the other soft soap deal, if you do the system will think you already did the deal and not print another reward. So… separate those deals with another brand and you are set!

    • Couponcrazee

the p&g coupon for the downy is $1 in my area. do this vary?

      • Live2coupon

It is the same in my area. A friend in TN. told me she got $2/1.

        • Couponcrazee

          :(

    • Luvleebenge

Would someone mind working out a scenario with the pamper diapers? I'm scared to death to try walgreens but don't want to miss the diaper deal. Please and thanks

      • Ingjess09

$3 rr for (2) jumbo packs at $10 is not a deal..that's really $8.50 with out coupons. You should wait till its $8 a jumbo pack or less with at least $1 rr. Just a few weeks ago at CVS was huggies deals, they are due soon for pampers. I hope this helps. And btw that evil place (walmart) normal price for jumbo pack is $8.99.

        • khloe'smommy

At my walgreens huggies were $8.99 with $2 RR this week so pampers should be the same in the next 2 weeks

      • Cedarhillcabins

Ok may be I can help.
Buy 2 packages of pampers for $10.00 each. Total =$20.00 plus tax
Use 2 ($2.00) store coupons from the Walgreens Infant Care Booklet ( usually located in pharmacy).
        Use 2 ($2.50) mfr.coupons from the P&G 2/27
Pay $11.00 plus tax. You will receive a $3.00 registar reward after purchase.
This makes each package of diapers $4.00 plus tax.

        • Gingiraffe

You also need two filler items because you can only use one coupon for each item you are purchasing. So if you have 2 diaper packs and 4 coupons, you need 2 filler (inexpensive) items.

          • Mommyharrod

In my area we can double stack the man qs and wags qs and do not have to have filler items to do so. B/c they do accept the wags and man qs to be stacked. Is this something new in your area? I only have to use filler items when using the rewards.

    • CCShad

My 2/27 SS has a $10 off the Accu-chek Aviva system w/ purchase of any size Accu-chek test strips.

    • Kbblack82

Where can u find the infant care book?

      • Sarahbeth1210

Wanted to know the same thing!

      • Cedarhillcabins

You can usually find the infant care booklet in the pharmacy area.

      • Tiff715

        at the make up counter

      • MelRae

When you DO find the infant care book, hang on to it! The coupons don't expire until 12/31/11. Walgreens *should* let you use it over and over again. I plan to pick ONE up each time I go to the store (if I can find it).

Diaper sale preview: Walgreens will have their store brand diapers BOGO the week of 3/13. They are normally $8.99, and the coupon from the infant care book will take off $2 each pack! So that is $4.99 for 2 packs! I think they are similar to Huggies Snug & Dry, if that helps. So find that infant care book before March 13th! lol!

        • New2Q

I got 8 packs for like $21 with tax on the last sale. I’ll be there again on the 13th with my coupon in hand!!! I have NO issues with these diapers at all!

        • New2Q

$8.99 B1G1 makes it $4.50/pack. Then add the $2 off each pack from the Infant Care Booklet and it’s 2.50/pack. No RR involved either!! Easy, simple WAGS transaction!!

    • Raynesmw

For the past couple of weeks I have gotten some register rewards that don't specify what brand sponsered the deal at the bottom. I don't have them in front of me but it says something like thank you for shopping or something generic like that. Are the registers picking up codes on these also and not generating RR on products. I really don't know what products they were off of now, I have been shopping at Walgreens a lot here in the past 3 weeks or so. I haven't had any problems w the RR but I know some people are on here. Thanks for the tips those should help :-)

      • CCShad

I got a few RRs like that – they say Thank You For Your Purchase. If you look to the far right side under the red Walgreens name, it will list the retailer like “Colgate”. Sometimes I write the product on the RR – for example the Aquaphor is like that and the retailer is “Beiersdorf”.

    • Raynesmw

Oh and look for a new coupon book at the beauty counter. I picked up one tonight.

    • Bee

The softsoap refill does not sound like such a great deal. Aside from the fact that a 64oz generic (Target brand, etc) is often around this price, I saw the Softsoap 56oz refill on sale at Kroger for $2.99 this week. Same price, but don't have to pay up front and then get register rewards. I've seen it on sale at Kroger for $2.99 in the past as well.

      • Amy

I have stopped buying softsoap refills altogether thanks to a tip I learned on this site! For my foaming soap dispensers, I mix a lot of water with a little bit of Dawn Hand Renewal (which you can get for practically free at CVS when it's on sale and you are using coupons and ECBs), shake it up, and voila! You have some very cheap foaming hand soap. For my regular soap dispensers (which I am using less and less because of the cost difference), I use a lot of Dawn and a little water.

        • Wdra0632

We do the same at my house, lately we have been using the 7th generation that we have gotten free at HT and Target. We love the lavendar mint, the Ajax grapefruit is also a family fav. this little tip saves so much money, can get this stuff free or close while softsoap the coupons never get it for free.

        • Bee

That does sound like a great tip. I will have to experiment a bit. I wash my hands frequently and soft soap seems to be the least detrimental to my skin. I wash the dishes with Dawn Hand Renewal so that might work, although I wash my hands far more than I wash dishes, LOL.

    • Denissalloyd

When the sale is B1G1 50% off, can you buy just one and pay just half the price?? Thanks :)

      • Bee

No, because it is not B1G1. It's pay full price for one and get the second for 50% off, which is in essence, a 25% off sale.

      • Tiff715

No, because it is BUYone then get the OTHER half off, BUT if its B1G1 free you can buy one at half price (at most stores)

      • Rossjulie

BUT, you can still use two coupons for the B1G1 50% off items. ie: CoverGirl Makeup is on sale this way this week. There are CG coupons everywhere.

    • new puppy

Does anyone know what the $15 in coupons are for (this is the Coke, Planters, Hersheys deal, buy $15, get $15 in coupons)

$1 off any (2) Planters flavor grove almonds 6 oz or (2) Peanuts 16 oz

    • Geff

Just wondering… How do you get the Walgreens ad so early?

      • CVS Lady

        Geff,
Check slickdeals(dot)net or iheartwags(dot)com. You can usually find the ad scans 1-2 weeks early.

        • Geff

Didn't know about that. That you!! I'm glad my wife and I found this site. We love it.

      • Rossjulie

At Walgreens.com you can also sign up for the Sneak Peek ad and you will get it emailed to you very early on Friday mornings. Sites post the deals in advance but I still like seeing the ad for myself.

Question about the TIDE. The coupon listed says 3 off Tide Stain Release 26-50 oz powder, 15-34 ct duo pk or 36-68 oz liquid, PG2/27 But the Tide on sale says 20 oz. Will this coupon work? Sorry I am new!

      • Gayle

Hi Sam, did anybody answer your question about the Tide? I want to do that deal too. Thanks

    • Couponshandy

My store did not have the infant care booklet. Is that where you find it?

    • Kathryn

This is my second week couponing at Walgreens. Last week, I ended up with (2) $1.00 P & G RR and (3) $3.00 Baby Magic RR. Here is what I am planning on doing this week. Can an expert look it over and see if this will work?

Buy 1 Swiffer wet Refill $5.46
Buy 1 Swiffer Dry Refill $5.46
Buy 2 Softsoap Body Wash $7.00
      Use B1G1F Swiffer Refill (5.46)
      Use 3 Baby Magic $3.00 RR ($9.00)
      Total Due 3.46 + tax
      Get $5.00 Softsoap RR
      Get $5.00 P & G RR
Still have (2) $1.00 P&G RR from last week

      Am I utilizing everything right?

      Thanks in advance

      • Forsythia423

You need 2 small filler items since you are using 3 RRs and I think the BOGO coupon covers the 2 swiffers. You have to have as many total items as you do total coupons. HTH

      • CCShad

You have 4 items and 4 coupons, so I hope it would work. The B1G1 coupon should attach to the free one. There is some website that calculates the Walgreen scenario for you. Anyone know it?

      • Rossjulie

I agree. One or two small filler items should work, Look for single serving little caramels, .50 canned items, etc…

      • Jen

It’s only a $3.00 Rr for the P& G purchase. Wanted to make you aware of that.

      • New2Q

My store had the Swiffer things marked down to like 2.47 so I did not get the RR when I bought 2 with the B1G1 coupon. You must spend $10 in order to get the RR.

    • Kay

Ok, I have a question. I have a $2.00 off Gillette deoderant or body wash. I also know Walgreens has these BOGO this week and I have a coupon for BOGO. Can I use both BOGO coupon and $2.00 off coupon for these two items? Please email with response or post back. Thanks…. kaymiller03@yahoo.com

      • Rossjulie

I've tried this before at my Wags and I haven't been lucky. The BOGO coupon is basically a coupon for both items so if you pair up a $2 coupon too they may or may not allow it. I'd give it a try if I were you, but don't get your hopes up. I tried that same scenario once with razors but the register beeped and the cashier said she could not do it.

        • Mcheronecook

If this happens in the future, have them 'void' the order and the scan the coupons in the opposite order: if the register 'beeped' when she scanned the B1G1 first and the the $ off, scan them the opposite way, $ off then B1G1, it does work! I have to do this sometimes. Different store registers are different about how they take these. Good luck.

    • Nocurtain

okay, i'm learning here…could someone tell me…does the little “acorn” symbol next to an item on jenny's list mean to stock up on the item, or that's the best price, etc???

      • Ellie

Stock up. Just like a chipmunk storing up acorns, LOL

        • Nocurtain

          thanks Ellie! :)

    • Kay

Can you only get register rewards back in one transaction? I am saying if there are 3 items with RR do I need to do all of them as seperate transactions?

      • Geff

As long as they are all different RR deals, you can do them all at once.

    • Couponsavy87

So I went to walgreens tonight and ofcourse they were out of some things I wanted (my fault shouldn't have waited so long). Anyway I asked the cashier for a rain check when I told her what I need she told me she couldn't give me a rain check for that item because it had register rewards……SERIOUSLY…….i was dumb founded anyone else have this problem?

      • Wsult3

You can have a raincheck for the sale price, but you won't receive the RR's.

      • Galveston 2000

they told me -2 diff stores-they would'nt give rc because the item is free-must get up right after midnight & go if you want the adv items-i really don't think they get more than 12 of any of these items-for a town of 50tho-that's not much

    • Bsw21704

How do I get the infant care booklet?

      • Katkoupon

It's supposed to be in the stores, near registers or pharmacy or the baby section…I'm still looking for it!

      • Hi. I had to ask for it. The cashier asked the manager who brought a whole stack to the front and handed me one. She then stuck them under the counter. So, just ask! They were really helpful when I asked for one. They were just hidden!

    • Katkoupon

Can i use more than one of the same type RR in one transaction (to pay with)? Like I have (4) $3 Colgate rr from last week, can I put all four of them together and pay for $12 worth of stuff?

      • Robin

        Yes,
I do it all the time. Just make sure you have the same number of items as you have

    • Dawn

It's not printing my list. Just blank pages.

    • Msmelmag

Found a 25 cent filler at my Walgreen's (Hsv, AL)….clearing out Silly Banz 4 for $1 don't know if many kids still like these though but my little grandkids do! Watch the ring up…..

    • confused

on the coke hersheys and planters do you know what the coupons are after a 15 dollar sale

      • Galveston 2000

        anyone know? thanks!

      • firstbrownie

Further down someone said to check the March savings booklet pg. 7; that commenter also listed all the coupons.

    • Clip-n-save

I found a good deal on Tampax multipack. They are markig down a lot of items right now. These were regularly $5.99 with $1 walgreen buck back. However, were marked down to $1.79 with $1 walgreen buck back. Yes, I used my $1 from 2/27 and got a lot of Tampons for 79 cents! Good luck! from Beth (clip-n-save)

    • Teri

The Advil printable expired on 3/2/11….two days ago. :(

    • Kcreviews

Not sure how the math worked on the Gillette Venus Proskin razor worked…we don't even know the price on the blades. They are usually very expensive and not worth getting $5 off the total (which would probably be around $20-$25 dollars for razor and blades).

    • Scrooge

At our local Walgreens they have stopped posting the RR deals on the product shelves. Has anyone one else had this happen at their store? There was a couponing class at our local school and ever since then the RR deals are not being posted anymore! You still get them but you have to get the flyer and walk the store.

      • Bamasaver

At our local stores, some are posted & some aren't so I always carry the ad around for verification. Don't know if it's laziness, craftiness, or lack of personnel/time. Would be SO much easier on us if all were posted though!!!

        • Mcleodsc

I sometimes wonder if WAGS really wants to sell anything. There is a CVS, Dollar General, and Rite Aid just a couple of blocks away that do have signs posted on their sales items. And they do not hide their sales items in weird places in the store or the stock room.
I think corporate needs to survey each empty-handed customer as they leave the store, did you find everything you came for? That would be an eye-opener for upper management.

      • Geff

Yes, a lot of the items this week were not posted on the shelves. Does make it tougher to find what you need, but it's not that big of an issue as long as the ad states the size that is eligible.

    • April

Are the infant care booklets in the store or is it a mail out? Does anyone know, I've a brother and sister both expecting and I've been looking for a really good deal on diapers. Thanks

      • April

Ok, never mind … I read some previous comments. Looks like I'm not the only one looking for it.

        • Galveston 2000

i found pleanty of them in a store on 380 somewhere in n tx-i think just past the town of princeton-after being told by corp offices they were only mailed to select people-in select parts of the country-only pregrant mothers-left me out!!

      • Laurie

I asked the woman at the beauty counter- she gave me 5. They don't have them out & accessible at any of my stores.

    • MissG818

I had a horrible experience at the WAG on Pine Mountain Road and Cobb Pkwy (in Kennesaw). I went to purchase 1 pack of huggies (1 manuf & 1 WAG coupon), 1 Jet Dry (1 WAG & 1 manuf coupon), 2 Hefty Bags (2 Manuf coupons and 1 WAG coupon) and manager refused to transact my purchase. He said, “I have more coupons than items. If I want to purchase , I need to include more items.” I understand the policy to be 1 WAG and 1 manuf coupon per item.

Secondly, he said, “…the WAG coupons are manufacturer coupons.” I challenged him and said, “WAG coupons specifically state it is good at WAG and there is a WAG emblem on all coupons, so it considered a WAG coupon.”

      Any feedback???

      • MelRae

Yeah, he was wrong! Ugh, I know it's frustrating! Look at the top of this page under “Walgreens official coupon policy”. Maybe you might want to print it off and take it to the store and show the manager. If he doesn't apologize and comply, I would call corporate. We can't let managers and cashiers get away with violating the coupon policy of the store.

        • Leigh

The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.

Copied from the official coupon policy from Walgreens. Which means if you have 4 items and 5 coupons….buy one cheap filler item and you can use all 5 of them. HTH!

          • Leigh

Ok…I think I read this wrong but I still hope it helps you out.

          • She was right becuz the Wags coupon don't count as coupons. so she did have the right amount of stuff, now if she was using RRs thats different

        • Pmortonfamily

I work at walgreens, now. Have alot more respect more cashiers now. We have no control over what the register says, we cannot make magic and make coupon go though or punch in coupons, many have lost their job over register rewards. Be polite and I am sorry how it worked out for you. They are afraid for there job and me too!!!!

          • Mcleodsc

If it is a legitimate coupon on the correct product , then the cashier CAN punch in the numbers from the coupon.

      • Lzbacnik

you are allowed one coupon or RR per item. you can use a Wag coupon and a mauf. coupon but you must purchase filler items. If you purchase 6 items your RR and coupons can only total 6.

        • MelRae

You don't need filler items to “attach” to true Walgreens store coupons.

      • Rachel85

Thats the store I go to and I have ALWAYS has problems with the cashiers understanding the coupon policy. I have basically give up on WAG unless is a great deal thats not too complicated ( not that yours was)

        • MissG818

Thanks Rachel85… I knew it was the store and not me. I will call the store and report the manager to corporate. I think consumers are entitled to coupon savings.
          Rae

        • MissG818

I just called the store to obtain the name of the store manager (who was on duty). A wonderful customer service representative provided the address and contact information for the corporate office. I intend to voice my opinion with them.

When I shop at local stores my goal is to save money and I will not allow management to stand in my way.

      • SaraRN

Unfortunately, the WAG register rewards are Manufacturer Coupons, provided through the company that you bought the product for. To get around the policy,

I always just add something small (10 cents) to make sure I have enough items. It is one of the downsides to WAGS. And the cashier's/managers don't understand the policy well enough to help you get around it. Always take a copy of the coupon policy with you. My favorite days are when I can teach a manager a thing or two about their own coupon policy. :)

    • Chrystal_presley

At my walgreens in AL, I had more coupons than items and they very sweetly showed me the bucket of soft peppermints on the counter for 5cents each….great filler

      • MissG818

Kudos to you. It is refreshing to hear a store is in support of coupon-cutters.

    • Alishia

I was wondering, do Walgreens double their coupons?

      • MissG818

The WAG in Kennesaw, GA do not…

      • Lainey

        None of the drugstores double.

    • Lorriecartwright

Where can I get the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet?

      • Rossjulie

The $110 book was from a promo they did last fall where you had to submit $50 in P&G receipts. It was a “gift” from P&G if you filled out the form and submitted the receipts.

      • like them on on Facebook and once in a while they do a giveaway for the book, that's how I got mine a couple weeks ago

    • Carmen S

Banana Boat and schick deal idea question. is there a month long deal for $5RR on Banana Boat? I don't see it in the ad?

      • New2Q

YES.. I went this morning and you have to buy $15 in BBoat to get the $5 RR. The Transaction scenerio listed above does not work. :(

    • Katkoupon

B1G1 Herbal Essence RP 3/06, not seeing in the sunday preview, hope to get it!

    • Daisy

How can I get the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet?

      • Rossjulie

It was a promo we did last fall by saving P&G product receipts and sending away for it.

      • gwhiz

I got it by going to the P&G website, if you can't get it, there are still other coupons you can request, hope that helps :)

      • like them on on Facebook and once in a while they do a giveaway for the book

      • Eyecare4u

I got mine in the winter months. You had to mail in receiots for a certain amount of PG purchases.

    • Mbward86

      Question:
I am looking at the sneak peek ad on walgreens.com. It says get $15 in Coupons when you buy $15 of participating Coca-Cola, Hershey’s, or Planters. Does anyone know what this is exactly? Is this RR?

      • Pmortonfamily

it is store coupoon on your next visit

    • Angelmom1979

im new to this, How do i get Dawn and pedicare for free. How many coupons can i use. thought only one coupon per item. could use help.

      • it is $.99 with in add coupon so to make it free you would use the $1 coupon. No you do not use all three those are just list to show you what is out there

    • Mammogramma

My Walgreens said they have a new policy company wide not to do more than one transaction per visit. When I tried, the register would not allow me to use the RR I just received from my previous transaction. Cashier said this was a new policy.

      • SaraRN

I was in WAGS this morning in Enterprise, Alabama. I had 6 different transactions. I'm not sure where that came up.

      • Pmortonfamily

I work there and never heard that, but let me say if you going to do multiple transactions please go to cosmetic register, don't hold up front register where people want to get out quick

      • Kenzbug

Maybe the cashier wasn't wanting to be very helpful?

    • Slocklair

I found clearance on the always pantyliners for 2.19 for the big 162 count pack… using the .50c Q from week I got one for 1.69. Much better than the RR deal for the lesser count for this item.

    • KT

For all you Mom's out there – do you think $4 for a pack of jumbo pampers is an exceptionally good deal or should I wait for a better deal to possibly come along if I have a pretty good “stock pile” of diapers at the moment. I noticed the raised the price to $10/pack for this sale since they have those infant care booklets with coupons now…

      • Rgvdad

I think it is a good deal, but it depends on the size. I think anything less than .17 per good quality diaper is good. Just do the math.

      • RJ

there is a better deal at Food Lion right now…use the same manufacturer Q, but FL also has a $3 off Pampers store Q to go with it on their website. 3 day sale (Fri, Sat & Sun) the Jumbo pack is just $7.99 – $5 in Q's, they are just $2.99. It isn't free, but it is cheaper than the Target brand I usually buy – almost 50% less.

        • RJ

I think I figured it was 11 cents a diaper for size 5's. Last time at Target with a coupon for Up and Ups, I paid 17 cents…

        • keb2009

where abouts is the $3 q on the FL website?

          • RJ

foodlion dot com – “in store departments” pull down, select “baby care”. On your right is a link to baby care coupons – some good huggies ones too that might help on a future deal this month…

            • KEB2009

              rock on!

            • KEB2009

              rock on!

        • New2Q

I did this yesterday at FL. I stocked up w/ WAGS diapers when they had the deal about a month ago and they ended up being about 1.50/pack. I use name brand diapers at night because they do not smell as bad in the morning. YAY for $3 Pampers Diapers!

      • Bev B

KT, if you're already stocked, I might pass on the $4 per pack. A lot depends though on if Pampers is your only brand of choice, or if you just go for whatever is cheaper. When I buy diapers in the store, I prefer the $2-3 range after coupons. Lately I've been almost exclusively buying my diapers through Amazon Mom, using the 20% or $10 off coupons out of Baby magazines. Then I use my free Amazon gift cards from my Swagbucks points to pay for them. I definitely can't get any cheaper than that in any drugstore, so it works great for me!

    • Mandy

Can anyone recommend a zip code for the $5 Schick/Banana Boat coupon? I really want this deal and can't find it! Thanks!

      • Jgriffin

I regularly see that one offered to me. May want to try 37931

        • Mandy

          I found it. Thanks!

      • New2Q

I found out the hard way that the only way you get th $5 RR for the sunscreen is if you spend $15 on sunscreen. The scenerio listed above is incorrect. You will not get $5 + $3 RR. I learned that the hard way. :(

        • RJ

I learned this as well…I can't even find where if you spend $15 you get the $5 on sunscreen :-( I still got some decent deals, but minus the extra $5 I was expecting, I am not as pleased with my trip. Jenny does a SUPER job, but I guess blindly trusting anyone is a bit foolish. Next time I will double check before checking out.

        • Bclau2

I tried the same scenario.. it did not work for me either I only received a 3RR. bummer…

    • amanda

Can you use a $4 P&G RR for the Softsoap Bodywash?

      • jhoran

Yes, softsoap is the colgate/palmolive company.

    • Sandy1955

I keep seeing the scenario for Walgreens for the Tide, also for Kroger but my coupon shows it has to be the bigger size Tide. Am I wrong or will this work on this size?

      • jhoran

At wags, the coupon is for the larger size. At Kroger, the 3.00 e-coupon and the 3.00 manu. coupon is for the 20ct which is on sale for 5.99 …therefore free!

    • I was in three different Walgreens in McDonough, GA last night and did a BUNCH of transactions at each one. I was amazed because the cashiers were even helping me go through my stuff and group it and figure out which RRs to use for each transaction (I'm new to Walgreens). It was close to closing time and the stores were empty but none of them batted an eye.

    • Soniac803

what is on sale for RR all month of march at walgreens

    • Does anyone know of a good “tutorial” or guide for Walgreens? I've seen a few for CVS but they're pretty easy to understand. Walgreens has so many little rules that I'm thoroughly confused. I went in there last night and got some amazing deals but I wound up doing separate transactions for just about every item to make sure that my RRs didn't get crossed up (fun since I was getting 5 of several items). A really nice cashier came over and started talking to me about couponing and helped me group some things but he didn't necessarily explain why it was or wasn't ok to pair two things together and once we grouped them, it felt like I wasn't actually using the RRs I was getting back. I walked out with a boatload of RRs left (I think 20 separate ones) which means my OOP was way higher than it should have been and now I have no idea what to do with them. A bunch are P&G and GSK so I don't know what I can or can't use them on next week, ya know?

Also, I keep hearing that you can use RRs at Publix but my Publix doesn't take Walgreens as a competitor. I noticed that the RRs say “mfgr coupon” on them so does that mean that Publix should take them even if they don't consider Wags a competitor? Anybody have a situation like that?

      Thank you!!!

      • Angelinamarie5

I think you should be able to use RR at Walmart now.

        • I saw that on the new Wally-world coupon policy but to be honest, I think the biggest savings since I started couponing comes from the fact that I NEVER go in Walmart anymore! lol I think they had their computers programmed so that no matter what I bought, it cost at least $90. These days, I *might* go in there once a month for the All You magazine but somehow even that winds up costing me $50….it's way too easy to make impulse purchases there. Somebody always needs socks or underwear or ohhh…I forgot I wanted to pick up some of those. I can go in Kroger or Publix or the drug store with my coupons and my list and get what's on the list and get out but when I go in Walmart, I always wind up wandering around for an hour and spending a fortune.

      • Scenariocentral

Yes you can use RRs at Publix – they scan just like any other coupon and I've verified with my store management that they get reimbursed for them! :)

        • Very cool! The guy at Walgreens kept telling me that customers tell him they use RR at Publix all the time but none of the Publix I've called around here accept drug stores as competitors. I usually don't bother with competitor coupons but it's good to know.

      • Brownketch

Barbara, there is some good Walgreens info right here on Southern Savers. If you are looking at a Walgreens coupon matchups, go up to the top of the page and look for Walgreens link on the right. You'll see links for several tutorials: Walgreens Getting Started Guide, Advanced Tips, and Wags' Official Coupon Policy. Hope that helps!

        • Well, DUH! We're going to call that a blonde moment…I have looked up there before and only saw the coupon policy (which helped to confuse me even more!) How did I overlook those other links? Thanks a bunch!

    • ShopperSteph

I enjoy finding the deals at Walgreens, but does anyone know why they have so many stupid rules? I feel like I waste so much time planning out deals!! It really makes me shop more at CVS and Rite-Aid.

      • Kenzbug

Me too! I only go if it is something really good.

        • DebTN

Me three! I went in today to use up some RR's that were expiring. I got some really good deals, bought stuff on sale and used coupons to get my oop down, but I didn't buy anything to generate more RR's. I'm now taking an extended Walgreens hiatus. It's nothing personal, and I've gotten some really good deals there the past couple of months, but it's just not worth the hassle for me right now. I've got a good stockpile going now and I think I can keep it going with rite aid and CVS. I feel so relieved!

      • Mandy

Me, too. I am trying to use up all my RR and get out of the Walgreens business. Team CVS!

    • ss

how do you get a walgreens infant care booklet

      • jhoran

        At the store.

      • New2Q

Call the Walgreens Coorporate office and tell them your store does not have them. The will make sure the store orders them and they WILL have them. Good Luck!

    • GA Girl

I've heard that you can shop on Saturday for the sales that are advertised to begin on Sunday. Is that true? If so, what time does it start?

      • Mandy

I was in Wags in Mauldin, SC tonight about 6:30 and the cashier told me that I could stop tomorrow's sales. Sorry, don't know exactly what time it starts. Probably at the discretion of the manager on duty, like CVS.

      • jhoran

You can shop on Saturday but you won't get RR's until Sunday.

    • Myteachmb

I'm new to couponing… Anyone know how to enroll in Walgreen's Register Rewards program?

      • Kenzbug

You don't enroll. Your rewards will print with your receipt as a coupon.

      • Savysara

No need to enroll. They print automatically once you have purchased the proper amounts of products. Just beware if you are going to reuse the RRs to make sure it is on a different product. They are not “cash” they are manufacturers coupons and follow the same rules. Must have the same # of coupons as you have items (or more). For example: I buy Colgate toothpaste @ 2.99 with a .75 MQ and get $3 in RR back. Then I buy Lip Gloss @ 3.99 with a 1.00 MQ and my $3 in RR from before, it won't work because I have only purchased one item and used two MQ. It is so confusing at first…but I saved over $50 today @ WAGS! :)

    • Jgriffin

I've combed my 2/27 SS three times, and got no Ajax coupon. Can anyone tell me what was on the back side?

      • Bev B

I didn't get one in my SS either (Charlotte, NC). We have Nature Made coupons on the back of our SS from 2/27.

      • jhoran

She's referring to the Dynamo, Fab and Ajax laundry detergent coupon…which can't be used but she always posts.

        • Jme9190

That must be a regional variation because mine states ANY Dynamo, Ajax, Fab, or Niagra products. It has detergent pictured but nowhere states it is specifically for detergent.

    • Cluckie

No Ajax coupon in Columbia either. Lens crafter Ad on the backside.

    • Kari

If the coffee mate creamer is b1g1 can I use my free coffee mate coupon I received in the mail to get both free?

      • Jen

Yes, you can. I did it last week with the Chef Boyardee coupon from the Walmart promo.

        • Rea

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to ask the same thing. That makes me :)

      • Bee

The only reason I wouldn’t is because you can actually get the large (32 oz) size with the free coupon. The Wag’s sale is for 16oz. So you are kind of wasting your coupon. If you find a great sale on the large size somewhere you could get two large ones for free as opposed to 2 small ones.

    • Jennifer

Did I read this correctly somewhere….If I buy pantene shampoo and use my $1MQ off then I cannot use the RR from a previous visit to pay the balance? I have about $15 in RR from buying the colgate toothpaste this past week (I paid 2 instead of 3 because I had a coupon for $1 off. Then I received $3RR back for each one). AGGHHHHHHHHH….. I love Rite Aid. Hope they don't change their policies every other day and make rules as they go along. Thanks! New to couponing for about a month now and Rite Aid is my main shop and is only 2 blocks away. Walgreens is only 3 blocks away in the opposite direction, but there stuff seems so much more confusing!

      • Hperryesq

Take the RR rewards to Walmart for milk and other stuff that is hard to buy with coupons. I started doing that and life is so much easier.

        • Tiff715

          Really, Walmart takes RR??

          • Nancy

Walmart just made some changes to their coupon policy. Go to their site and check it out! Walgreen RRs meet all of the stipulations regarding accepting other store “Checkout Coupons.” You may have some trouble seeing as how the new policy was just updated yesterday…managers might not be informed of the new changes just yet. Good luck! I'm going to attempt it today.

            • Pmortonfamily

I used 12.00 yesterday no problem!!!! been using there and krogers for awhile with no problem

            • Raynesmw

It's funny because in my town Harris Teeter had copied Register Rewards and had signs at all registers starting 2 weeks ago and had written across them-we do not accept these. Now, Walmart just down the road started accepting them last week……Competition is great sometimes for consumers (and “couponers”)

      • Jen

You can use your RR to pay. The only problem would be if you paid for a Colgate toothpaste with a RR from the Colgate toothpaste and expected to get another RR back. If the deals are different (using Colgate RR to pay for Pantene) you should be fine. Just remember you need to have enough items to cover all of your coupons (RR count as manufacturer's coupons). Hope that helps!

    • • 2 tide stain release 3.99 – 2x $3 man q. = .99 each
      • 2 ricola cough drops 2.29 – 1x $1/2 man q. + .99 instore q = .49 each
      • 1 cream of wheat 1.00 – 1x $1 man q = free
      • 2 nestle coffee creamer (my receipt says 2.99 and it doesn't look like 1 was taken off at the end but my OOP was still very good so I'm cool with it ) – 1x $1/2 man q
      • 2 Pediacare infant drops 5.99 – $1 man q + $5 instore q = free
      • 1 Febreze air spray 2.50 – $1 man q
      • 1 Dawn dish detergent 1.99 – $1 man q + .99 instore q = free
      • 2 Morton salt .99 – $1/2 instore q = .98 each

and used 1 $4 RR for Profusion (which even though it was a P&G RR it still spit the $3 for $10 for 2 tides and Febreze out, to the surprise of me and the cashier.)

      total saved in man q's = 17.00
total saved in store savings and q's = 16.39
      total savings of 33.39

spent 7.77 with 1.36 of that being tax and only did one transaction.

      • Nita Royal

I liked this, and thought I'd take a run at a couple of the items. But the Tide for 3.99 was the small size, and the $3 q's are for the large size. Either we have different items on sale, or different coupons. (Or your store doesn't have coupon Nazis!)

        • Don't know, I just handed it over and it didn't beep.

        • workatwags

coupon nazi's??????? walgreens does not carry the bigger size, so you should not use them. Read the coupons, it tells you the size. I work at wags and we were told by our manager to check the coupons. Again, if you are using the right coupon, you will have no problem with the coupon Nazis.

    • Budget_coupon123

Has anyone in the Hope Mills/Fayetteville, NC area had any success locating the Infant Care Book at Walgreens? I shop at different Fayetteville locations and none of the managers seem to have never heard of it. It's quite disheartening that customers in this area can't take advantage of these savings. Walgreens also really needs to improve their training (coupon usage) for their managers and cashiers.

      • Nancy

I've finally found a fellow couponer in Fayetteville! I've only been to one Walgreens in Fayetteville recently and didn't see the new Infant Care Book.

I agree with the training on coupon usage…it seems most stores lack in that department.

      • Thinkgreen08

I have a couple of them. If you want to email me at thinkgreen08 at gmail dot com. Maybe we can make a trade.

      • New2Q

Call the corporate office and tell them the store does not have the booklet. They will make sure the store orders the booklet and they WILL have it for you!

    • LO

Swiffer refills are reduced so that you have to get 3 to get the RR. Still not a bad deal though. I got (3) wet cloth refills at $3.74 – (1)B1G1. After the RR it still comes out to $1.49 each.

And if you don't get the “infant” Pediacare, it won't be free, but still VERY cheap. I got (2) Cold Plus at $7.49 ea, minus the $10 Store Q and the $3/2 = 99 cents each!!!

      • Mcleodsc

I did the same transactions except I used 2 of the B1G1 cpns and got 4 Swiffer refills. Awesome deal on the Pediacare. I have another $3./2 cpn and the register gave me a 1.50/1 so I may go back this afternoon and get 3 more.

      • New2Q

I also did the Swiffer deal and was disappointed because I did not realize you had to buy $10 worth to get the RR. I only bought 2. I am going to head back this afternoon and get them to return the 2 and then buy 3 to get the RR.

        I bought 2 Infants and 2 Children's acetaminophen. The infants were 6.99 and the Children's were 5.99.

      • Lacorby

What zipcode do you type in to print off the $3/2 coupon for the PediaCare?

    • Starryeve21

Tried to use the ajax coupons and they wouldn't accept them for the ajax powder cleaner. Also Walgreens doesn't double coupons, so my Dawn wasn't free-just 50 cents-not too bad!

      • biskit0323

She was meaning it was free if you used the $1 off coupon. HTH!

      • Brooke

The Ajax coupon beeped and the cashier said the coupon was for Ajax liquid and I pointed out that the coupon said “any”. She then manually entered the coupon. I had a good cashier today, she let me have the overage on the Ajax and the PediaCare

    • Dee

Jenny showed that Ray-o-vac batteries were BOGO, but in the ad today it was for Walgreen batteries. Does anyone know if the Ray-o-vac are included? Thanks for any help.

    • Kelleyzoo

has anyone done the $15 coke/hershey/planters thing?

      • Kelleyzoo

am wondering if it is $15 RR, or other q's?

        • Pmortonfamily

it is not rrr it is coupons goood at walgreens for next purchase of spec. items

          • Jen

THANK YOU for letting us know!

    • Dkshipp57

Thanks for your help. God Bless
it show the Anti-aging vitamins was in the wal.book I can't find in mine. Is anyone else have and not use? This is what was last week $10 RR. said was all month but can't find

      • CCShad

I think it is a month long deal that if you buy it at $10, you get back $10 in RR. No coupons needed.

        • Angelett

there is a dollar off coupon inside the box of anti-aging vitamins, Hope this helps

          • CCShad

Awesome! I had two boxes packed in my car to go to the community outreach center and had no idea about the coupon booklets inside. There are lots of vitamin coupons that don't expire until 12/13! Thanks for the tip.

    • Hollyewallace

Where is $2.00 pampers Walgreens coupon? It's not in my store booklet
      Thanks

      • msivory20

It was in my Infant Care booklet that others have mentioned. I found mine on a display at the cosmetic's counter, but they sometimes keep extras behind the counter.

        • msjean

I asked three different employees in our Walgreens about the infant care booklet. None of them knew anything about it. I'll have to check all of the areas mentioned. Trying to get pamplers for my niece and her triplets.

    • Guest

After asking several employees, I found the Infant Care booklet in the vitamin aisle (by the prenatals). You may have luck there if you are searching.

      • guest

The manager had to show me (after asking several employees) of all places, they were sitting on the counter in the photo lab!

      • Mel

ours were on the cosmetics counter!

    • guest

Not sure where to post this, but…in the P&G coupon booklet there is a coupon that states “$1.00 off any one Olay PCC or body lotion”. What is PCC?

      • happilysavingmoney

I think that it means personal care coupon, I used one on body wash at WAGS last week, no problem. HTH

      • CCShad

I think it is personal care cleanser, so works for body wash.

    • Heather

My Walgreens had the Children's PediaCare for $7.49. Used the $5 off store coupon and the $3/2 printable. After the purchase the Catalina machine printed another $1.50 coupon on PediaCare! Coupons didn't make it free, but .99 is good enough!

      • Syrivera9

What zip code are you using for the pedia care coupon?

        • Momma2micah

I printed mine off a week ago when someone advised to get it for this sale. They may have no more prints b/c I didn't use a zip code

          • MelRae

There are sites such as iheartwags (dot com) that post the ads up to 2 weeks ahead of time, so you can see the deals coming in plenty of time to print and gather your coupons (order or trade coupons if needed). If anyone is going to be a serious, regular couponer at Wags (or any drugstore), I would recommend this.

      • msivory20

Same here…so I bought another one on a different transaction and it printed yet another $1.50 off :) $1 is definitely a great deal!

      • Momma2micah

The PediaCare for infants was 5.99….making it a 1.00 “moneymaker”. The one for ages 2-11 was 7.49. still a great deal!

    • Tamcaster_1813

Can't find the pedia care coupon. Any idea where it is? :)

      • vcwatson

I can't either and I've tried all the zip codes. This ALWAYS happens to me. i see the deal, look for the coupon and discover it was removed like literally hours ago.

      • Mcleodsc

you had to print it last week. it is gone now. I just looked.

    • Bethany

I'm thrilled to hear that Walmart now accepts RR (Catalinas) and just hope that my store has their ducks in a row and know about this change in policy!

Also, the Q for the Scrubbing Bubbles Auto Shower Cleaner has expired. Anyone know where you can get another?

    • Kelly

I didn't get my $15 in coupons for buying $15 in coupons! Pretty upset.

      • Volunteer Amy

Kelly, Get the Walgreens coupon booklet (generally with the ads at the front of the stores) and show it to the manager. From my knowledge…supposed to be a month-long deal. I'd give it a try…

    • Amanda K.

In my store they had in-store coupon peelies on the 56oz Softsoap that made them 2 for 7.99! I paid with 2 $3 RR from Colgate last week and my $5 RR printed with no problems!

      • Freemn4

Thanks Amanda… I will see if my store has those as well.

    • Raynesmw

A couple of weeks ago I was at Walmart and they had the starters for the swiffer wet/dry sweepers. They were 6.97 and I had a 5 Q. So, 1.97. When I got it home, I opened it up and there were coupons inside for 2.00 off of Wet Refills and 2.00 of Dry refills. So, today, I used these plus the BOGO coupon, so I actually got 4 (2 of each), 4.97 (BOGO) x2 9.94-4 =5.94 and got 3.00 back…74 cents per box.

    • Lorri

Walgreens is no fun. I usually keep it simple and only go to CVS but Wags had some good deals last week that I wanted to get. I had multiple transactions drawn up before I got to the store to make things go smoother, but that was all for naught. I miscaclulated something somewhere and my register rewards weren't working. The cashier was no help at all and wouldn't tell me why, just that I couldn't use them. As I struggled to straighten it out, the line was growing behind me and my toddler quickly grew impatient. I got so frustrated and embarrased, I told the cashier never mind and I left. Ugh. I've never had one minute of trouble with CVS. No more Wags for me.

      • Tiff715

Unless Walgreens has a deal I cant live without (like on the Traiminic this week) I stay away. Their issue with having the same number of coupons as items is aggervating, and with a 9 month old and 3 year old its had to walk around to find something that cost .20 or .30 just so I can use an extra $1.00 off PLUS the only nice person at my Walgreens is the manager

        • Tiff715

          PediaCare i men, not triaminic

      • Bamabobbie

Well I let everyone go in front of me to a certain point then it's causing me to wait forever. I had an awful time yesterday because Wags ad was confusing in regards to the Tampex. Anyway as much as I dislike going to Walmart I'm glad they have a new coupon policy that accepts Wags RR's. Hope this will make Wags and Publix a little more lenient as they are getting stricter on their coupon policy.

    • Keith

There are 3 new stores in the Charlotte area, and these stores are offering $3 off a $10 purchase. I have been able to put together multiple deals that end up being 90% to 90% off and that is including sales tax. The locations are Mt Holly Huntersville Rd. West Providence, and the new store in Lincolnton. This special will be in place until the 19th.

    • Mjwards

Where is it advertised that you get $5 RR when you buy $15 in Schick/Banana Boat products? I have searched the paper several times and don't see that anywhere. I know how Walgreens is so I'm not sure I want to take the chance without seeing it advertised.

      • Kggies

I couldn't find it in the ad either, so I tried at the register and you have to purchase $15 in Banana Boat products to get the $5 RR

    • Sbigham3

Anyone else get confused with the Pediacare deal?

      • Mcleodsc

The thing is that there is Pediacare for infants and Pediacare for children. The Pediacare for Children (which included the allergy one) is on sale for 7.29 at my WAGS. I bought 2. The Coupon in the WAGS ad takes off $5 of the price of EACH bottle. Then I used a $3. off 2 mfg. coupon on the deal. 7.29 -5.00=2.29 X 2 (2 bottles)= 4.58 – $3. (off 2 mfg. cpn) = $1.58 So I paid 1.58 plus tax for 2 bottles. We go thru a ton of allergy meds during the spring so this is a bargain for us- since we WILL use this product up in no time. I am going back today to get 2 more bottles, if they have any left. I hope this helps. You would have a different price/deal if you bought the INFANTS kind.

        • CCShad

The Pedicare for Children was on sale for $6.99 at my stores (Charleston, SC area) With the $3/2 man. q and WG instant value $5/1 q, they were $.50 each! Note the limit of 3 for the WG coupon.

    • Marieperalez

I went today to buy some things at my local Walgreens. I gave her my manf. coupons then handed her my RR's. She said only one RR per transaction. She said Loss Prevention rule. I then told her I would need to break up my purchases. She saw that would take a lot of her time so she just scanned all my RR's and it worked fine. Anyone else encounter this problem? Just wondering.

      • Tarah

I've never had any of my Walgreens cashiers say this to me. I'd call customer service.

      • Mwalker1224

I've had that happen once…I think it was just the cashier because none of the others ever gave me any issues. I think some just understand th RR and coupons rules.

      • Jessicahurff

I did have a cashier tell me one time that i could only use one RR, but I just carry the corporate policy printed from the website and when i showed it to him he said “Oh wow, I am really sorry, I did not know that this was what the policy is” and he let me use all of them. The regular cashier that I work with (I know her shifts) is awesome, and she even has helped me break up a deal before in a different way than I had it so I saved more money. I have found that if you get to know a regular cashier and try to see them every time they will work with you. I've also found couponing to be a great bonding and ministry opportunity! Its amazing how well you can get to know someone just by talking over a few transactions for cleaning items at the Walgreens!!

    • MissG818

Last week, I wrote complaining about a manager at WAGS (Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA) who refused to accept my coupons. That afternoon, I submitted a formal complaint to corporate office advising them of my experience and suggesting they clarify their coupon policy. On Sunday, March 6th, the manager called me and apologized for the manager and cashier's behavior. He communicated the policy (number items must equal number of coupons) and suggested I use low priced items (cheap gum, candy) as a fillers to assure my purchase is transacted. He also stated, “…his wife uses coupons so he understands…” :-)

In light of that, I went to WAG this morning and made a purchase (with coupons, of course).

      • rita

I had a similar problem last night (aiken, sc store) trying to buy pampers using store and manufacturer coup. A not very pleasant cashier told me I couldn't use the wags coup as it was a manufacturer coup, even after I explained the bar code numbers starting with 6 zeros – she wouldn't budge. I then told her fine, keep the products and I'll go elsewhere and she mumbled – but loud enough for me to hear – “wow” in a sarcastic tone of voice. This a.m. wags corporate got an e-mail from me.

        • MissG818

Whenever I have an issue, I rely on submitting a complaint via email to the corporate office. Each cashier has a name tag, each store has a manager, and corporate does not want customers walking out the door. Exercise your rights, it works…

      • Thiamaria

I go to that location, and haven't had a problem yet.

    • Shuterbugg

That is a HORRIBLE price on your baby can read…its been 69$ at Wal Mart for over a year now!!

    • Kimmeem

Tried to do the Schick/Banana Boat RR Deal listed here… in store tags read Schick Disposable Quatro, not the Schick Xtreme3 listed on sale in ad or on the $5 coupon.

      • LM

        Had the same problem. :(

    • Cluckie

Does anyone know where the Applied Nutrition Anti-aging Body Defense is? Looked for more than 10 minutes with a store clerk and we couldn't find it. Is it a vitamin? Says it's a month long deal and trying to use up RR's from last week. By the way tried to use my RR's in Wal -Mart as per the new coupon policy, and my WM would not take them. Said they never heard of the policy

      • Thedanusc

        yes it is a vitamin

      • CCShad

Last week, I found those vitamins right in the middle of vitamins section, but none are left this week. If you do happen to find one, be sure to look inside and use coupon on next one you buy – $1/1. There is a whole sheet of vitamin coupons you may be able to use later.

    • Kfeltman23

I'm confused. I want to use these deals, but I don't understand what RR means? Register Rewards I know… .But how do they work? Do you have to have a card? and does it mean you get 5RR that you have a free $5 to use when you come back?

      • Jen

Register rewards are for your next purchase. They can only be used on an item that is not what the register rewards are from. So in other words if you get RR on swiffer dry cloths, you cannot go buy more swiffer dry cloths with your register rewards. You do not have to have a card, they will print with your receipt after paying. And yes when you get 5RR that means you have 5 to spend when you come back. The only restriction is it cannot be on a like item. Have fun shopping!

        • Megsma12

How do you know what you got the RR for? If i get them back, and save them for the following week – how do I know what NOT to use them on? Does it say it somewhere on the RR?

          • Thiamaria

it has the mfr w/address listed for coupon redemption purposes. Usually it will say “Thank you from… or Compliments of…” But sometimes it does just say “thank you for your purchase” I would just write on the very side edge what it was for. You can always clip that off before redeeming.
You will also want to take note that the RR counts as a Mfr Q. So be sure to not use more MfrQs than you have items. You can use the “filler” items that Jenny lists, or look in your clearance. I will usually grab a can of tuna or some olives (something w/an in-ad coupon that puts it at a reasonable price)

    • Bbstuff1

Tried to do the Schick/Banana Boat RR Deal listed here would not print out $5RR. Got mngr said select Banana Boat items, then he rung it up and it still did not print. So he ended up giving me two $3RR any way. since the sing on the BB was up. It was the baby BB product. Forgot cut store coupons on Mandarin oranges and salt. Paid 8.05 and got back $9RR and saved $65.02, sweet. Also picked up Swiss MissCocoa for .59 and O/Spr Crnb sauce .79

    • Bbstuff1

Where do you get the Get More From Your Pharm. booklet?

      • Cluckie

Kroger, but my Kroger Pharmacy was out of them.

        • Exsquid22

THANKYOU CLUCKIE! I have asked a dozen times and never seen a reply. Glad to see someone knew where to find it :)

    • mkittle

I just ran a few deals and wanted to say the “$5 RR WYB $15 in Banana Boat or Schick Products” did not work for me either. Upon further investigation on some other sites, i found that the month-long special is NOT on schick, but on Banana boat or Hawaiian tropic. So – the combination did not work. I will be returning my BB and waiting for a sale or other special to work. If you choose to use the combo coupon, you will also need to purchase over $15 in BB items to get the extra $5 RR.
Hope this helps someone else —

      • New2Q

Last night I returned both my Banana Boat AND the Shick Razors because I was disappointed. The BB deal is spend $15 and get $5 RR. The Shick deal was buy that razor at $5.99 and get $3 back. The deal would have worked if you had bought the $15 in BB products.

I had used my $3 RR from the Shick on another purchase already. When the clerk returned my items, she also returned the coupon amount!! She said that WAGS cannot give coupons back. She said they get the money for the coupon regardless so they give the amount of the coupon back. I got back the 5.99 from the razors, 10.98 from the BB AND $5 from my coupon… not to mention the $3 RR I had already used earlier.
I don't know if she was confused or if this is their regular policy… but I feel like I MADE money off of WAGS!! Unintentional of course!!!

      • LM

I just had the same problem tonight. They told me that the $5 RR would have printed had I bought the Schick QUATRO razors instead of the Schick razors that I got. Very disappointing! :(

      • Amandagarrisonsawyer

I had the same problem. I will be returning my Banana Boat product.

    • Ema6763

There is a coupon on coupons.com for $2 off any one Pediacare product

    • Lori

So, if I buy 4 Swiffer Wet refills, will it give me $6 RR in one transaction?

      • No, you will only get 1 $3 Reward.

    • Jbush27

Where is the in ad coupon for the Pedia Sure?

      • CCShad

bottom of page 13 if you are looking for the Pedia Care. Such a good deal on that.

        • Jbush27

Sorry, I meant Pedia care. Page 13 in the weekly ad?

          • CCShad

yes, the weekly store ad by the Nyquil coupon.

Question about the AccuChek Aviva rebate. I bought it for donation and to get the rebate, they want you to fill out a warranty card listing the name of the person with diabetes, etc. So far, I just put my name and address along with serial number and skipped all the other questions. Any other suggestions? There is also a requirement that if you have certain types of insurance, you can't get the rebate. One more possible problem is that they say they will give you a check for the cost of the meter after subtracting coupons used! I didn't use any for that, but I used several RR's and had a very low balance. Am I overanalyzing this or what? Thanks for any help with this!

      • Amy

Hello, I have a child with diabetes and we have used AccuChek products for years. Their customer service is amazing. I would suggest calling AccuChek and explaining the situation. As an FYI, most diabetes supply companies are very generous when it comes to the meters. It is the test strips to go with those meters that are so expensive and unfortunately many diabetics don't check their blood sugar as often for that reason.

      • Mel

I did this two months ago and I got the full 15 rebate check. Even though I used a $5 off coupon and got a 10 RR back for it, AND bought it with the military discount so it only rang up at like $12.74 or something. I filled out all my info except I think I left the insurance space blank.

      • CCShad

        Thanks Mel and Amy!

    • missum1

i had the same problem with the shick/bb deal—-hope i get the same results when i take the products back

    • Fallaya

I was supposed to get a RR for Always Pads, but didn't get it. I talked to the manager about it, but she said I didn't get it because I used a manufacturer coupon! I know she's wrong, but how do I get my $2 RR I'm owed?

      • CCShad

Did you get the exact variety and count? I thought it was hard to locate those particular ones b/c my store doesn't “always” have the signs up. I used a $1 coupon today for those and got the RR.

        • Fallaya

I'm pretty sure I did, unless the manager put the sale tag on the wrong product. She had 3 sheets of sales tags yet to put up (and I went this afternoon-1.5 days after the sale began!!). I asked her several times if I had the correct product, and she assured me that I did…

It has to be that new product in the new packaging. My store only had the liners and since I was making money on it, I went ahead and got them.

      • em

The same thing happened to me today. The manager came over to return the liners for me and he said that they have recently programmed their registers so that if you purchase a product using a manufacturer's coupon the register reward will not print. I am so bummed!

    • TJ

Fallaya you are correct. I went to Walgreens this evening and bought 3 of those 2 month Bounce bars. I used a $1.00 off coupon of each and if you bought $10 worth of Bounce products you received a $3 register reward and I received my reward even though I used manufacturer coupons.

    • Ag

I have RR from a prior PG deal. Can I use them towards this weeks PG deal or will it prevent me from getting the RR this time?

      • biskit0323

I would think it would prevent you from getting it. Jenny said this in this post. I copied it to put here for you.

        Tip #1:
At Walgreens you can’t use a P&G register reward to pay for any other P&G deal so you need to put the Swiffer and Always deals together. I wish there was a reason why, but its best to just believe me and not do it.

    • Cindster2004

Where do you find the Walgreens coupon for the pampers diapers? I went to 2 stores & even asked the managers & they couldn't find them either.

      • Martha

They are in the “Infant Care” booklet, which is an in store pamphlet type thing. It's got a picture of a baby on the front. There are tons of these booklets laying around the front of my Walgreens store.

        • Rebecca

Martha, you are fortunate. I've checked all of our local stores (3 or 4) at least twice and they don't have them! Very frustrating…

          • biskit0323

My store doesn't have it either but I spoke to the lady there that does the price signs. She said the books normally come in with price tag packs for the sales. She said they never know when UPS will drop anything off. They sometimes get stuff daily so to check back regular. HTH!

          • Haley

My store doesn't have them either (in Jax, FL) but if you need diapers (I do!) there is a good deal on them this week at Target.

      • Pam

I found some on the counter in front of the register at the pharmacy.

        • Melindainromania

What state do you live in?

      • Spiveycoupons

I called corporate and they said it was a trial booklet and not all store got them in and they were testing them out to see if it was something they would do.

    • MelRae

URGENT! RUN, don't walk to coupons dot com. There is a coupon for $2 off any Pediacare, and a coupon for $1 off any Folgers!!! I used zipcode 90210.

    • Nesnessoso

can i use 2 PG RR on one thing?

    • Krebbiem12

Another transaction idea that i discovered yesterday is to take advantage of walgreens 2 for $7 deal on soft soap body wash and get $5 back in RR. I used my RR and totally took advantage of the BOGO for the coffee mate creamers. I basically got 4 of them for free and was a very happy camper. :)

    • LL's Mom

Has anyone been successful with buying $15 in Hershey's, Planters, Coca-Cola and receiving $15 back in RR?

      • Tdfrazer

They give you coupons, not RR.

      • Amanagarrisonsawyer

Yes, I did this deal Sunday. I purchased 5 12-pack Diet Cokes and it worked.

    • I just had a store manager tell me that I could not use 2 coupons on a BOGO deal, when the coupon policy clearly states that. ???? He told me if the item rang up 0, I can't use a coupon on it. I have never had this issue before at the store, so I promptly called CS. Why does Walgreens have to be so difficult anyway?

      • I just got a call from the store supervisor, who rec'd an email from corporate and basically said, a long time ago that's how it was, or something like that. Bring the coupon in and he would fix it. And that he was printing the coupon policy for his workers.

    • Tdfrazer

When I did the B1G1 on the swiffer, I also used the swiffer coupons out of the same ad for $1 off. I just ran it before the b1g1. And it worked!

    • Tdfrazer

They give you coupons, not RR.

    • CCShad

      Thanks Mel and Amy!

    • Babymitch926

NeilMed Sinus Rinse has a $2 MF coupon on the box that can be stacked with the $3 Walgreeens Coupon (March Book) plus Neil Med is offering rebates on their items till March 31!..:)

    • Jen

Where do you find the Walgreens Vitmains and Supplements booklet?

      • biskit0323

I found mine sitting in this plastic bin like thing hooked to one of the shelves ont he vitamins isle. HTH

    • Momto4kidz

Has anyone had any luck getting the $15 in q's for the Coca-Cola purchase? I bought 4 12 packs and a 2 L (15.50), but didn't get the coupons. Was it because I used a $5RR?

    • raj

ACT Dry Mouth Rinse, 18 oz, $3.49
-$1.50 off Act Dry Mouth Mint Splash (Walgreens coupon), 18 oz, March Walgreens Coupon booklet

$1 peelie on most bottles at WAGS … may be a cpn in the paper as well ?

    • Tgriggs777

Can someone help me understand one thing about Walgreens vs. CVS? This is what I think I have learned, but I want to make sure I have it right. At Walgreens, you have to buy as many items as coupons and/or RR you are using? (unless it's a manufacturer plus store coupon for a single item) At CVS, there are not rules such as that, right? (I hope that made sense!)

    • T Giles32

it wont let you use the book coupon and the p and g coupon they are both manufactures

      • Gfyilviy

On the Pampers? I just tried to use P and G coupons too along with the Pampers coupons from Infant Care and they wouldn't let me do it either…

    • momof2

At Walgreens, I have found that the RR will not print if you use coupons even if the total is the amount needed for the RR. For example, on the Swiffer/Tide/Mr. Clean deal that's $3RR when you spend $10, if you use coupons like the B1G1 on the Swiffer clothes it will not print the RR because you are not paying $10 total. I've tried having the cashier do the transaction several different ways (thanks to an understanding cashier) and it never works. Any suggestions??

      • Martharossparker

that os strange it worked for me just fine i bought 2 swiffer wetjet @5.09 each. and used one B1G1 coupon and a .50 coupon and got the $3 register rewards.

    • Jillmaek

how do you know how to separate the items into different transactions?

    • vcwatson

My sister tried to do the banana boat and Schick deal and they wouldn't let her because they said it has to be 15 after coupons! I told her I didn't know that ANY of drug stores did that. She tried to call corporate with no luck. I was so mad! Is this really Walgreens policy?

    • chrismomof3

Can anyone help me??? I just left Walgreen's and this is what I bought: 1 Banana Boat 8oz (9.99), 1 Schick Xtrm 4 pk (5.99), 1 Pediacare Cold (7.49), and 1 Pediacare Fever Red (6.99). I used 2 in-ad q's for $5 on the Pediacare, 2 $2 mf q's for the pediacare, and the $5 printable q for schtick and Banana Boat. My total b4 tax was $11.46 (which seems correct), but I only got one $3 RR back. Wasn't I supposed to get a $5RR also?

      • Chrismomof3

Nevermind…I thought I had already read down far enough, but I just went down further and saw that this didn't work. I wish I had read the comments all the way down before I went to Wags this morning…

      • Kathy

I bought the schick and banana boat and I did not get the $5 RR either

    • Lorriecartwright

What was the website you went to in order to look at the ads 1 to 2 weeks before?

      • ireneY

        iheartwags

    • Babymitch926

Just bought 2 Cottonelle TRIAL size wipes at Walgreens for $1.98 and got back $1.50 RR. I read that it is a month long deal..:)

    • Tille

I purchased 4 of the large candy bars tonight with 2 coupons and thought I got a pretty good deal. Where is the information about getting the eight pack of candy if you buy the 4 bars? Can't find it anywhere. Hoping if I take my receipt and bars back tomorrow they will let me get them. Ideas and info please!

    • guest

I was also going to check out the BB and Shick deal but Coppertone is the only one with RR at my wag. I was a little confused about this. BB is on sale though.

    • Debbie

Thanks for all the help! I also did the trial packs of cottenelle and got back $1.50 in RR!

    • Sheila

has anyone bought 2 tide stain release and a febreeze in the same transaction and used the 3.00/1 tide x 2 and the 1.00/1 febreeze and got the RR to print? My brain is not working right this morning. I was wondering because the coupon is for the same amount that the RR is I've never had a problem before but, I was just curious before I head out. Thanks in advance..

      • firstbrownie

I believe the $3 Stain Release q is for a different size than the one that is on sale.

    • Sjthomas05

Went to Walgreens just now and they told me one transaction per person…they said its on the website…a new policy…anyone else hear about this?? they said i could walk out and walk back in and do another transaction. ha! not going to happen four times with a toddler in tow! :)

      • Sjthomas

just looked at the website and it does not say anything about this!! walgreens frustrates me! oh well… guess i will print out the policy and take it in with me next time… :)

    • Does anybody know if the rumor has been confirmed that you cannot get back a RR if you use a manufacturer coupon? It seems like I have a problem with something every time I go in there. I love CVS so much better.

    • Godlymom71

Just did a quick run to Wals to get some Pediacare @$0.49 with Q's and found Optimum care hair product on clearence. Got 2 relaxers for $0.19 each. Plus hare clips 3pack for $0.67 cents.

    • bev 37

our wals is out of the swifer refill. asked for a rain check. They would not give the rr on it. Is this true?

      • Soccerswimchick

Went to Madison, AL WGs for Swiffer refills. Well, they only had one, so I asked if I could use my BOGO q with a WG brand item and still get the RR (done this at cvs before). The manager didn't want to, so I just asked for a rain check. First, she acted like it was a big hassel. Then, she didn't want to let me get a RC for 4 at that price. Finally, she got angry at me for showing her that the price on the shelf was $5.09 not $5.99 as she had written.

    • Cctttjfam55

if you have a buy 1 get 1 coupon and the item is buy 1 get 1 at the store. How does this work
