I was just about to post this exact same thing, glad someone else found this as well.

    • dey08

I'm still new at this and want to make sure I understand. So for the Glade and the Mars candy, I can buy two and use BOTH a store and a manufact's coupon on EACH? Is there a limit to how many V8 juices I can get. Thanks so much!

      • Lisabluedevil

Yes, you can use both store and manufacturer. Typically I have found I just need one store coupon and it will apply to both items, but it won't hurt to have two. I tend to have a hard time remembering that some of the “sale” items require the in-ad coupon to get the price, so be sure to pull those if you are buying anything that requires them And, I do not think you will have a limit on the V8.

        • dey08

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help! This site is SO helpful! :-)

      Transaction #1
      Buy:
      (1) Luster White 7 Toothpaste $4.99
      (1) Carefree Pantiliners 20-22 ct., 99¢
      (1) Easter and Spring Pencil 12¢

-.50/1 Carefree product, (register) printable or RP 3/27
-$1.50 off Luster White 7, Power White or Sensitive, SS 2/13
-$1/2 Mars Easter candy, RP 4/10

In Transaction #1, the $1/2 coupon for the Mars Easter product will beep because you've bought less than $1 worth of Snickers Eggs. Unfortunately many cashiers don't know how to handle the beep and it can turn into a big hassle. It's best to purchase 4 eggs for $1.16 and pay the $.16 after coupon or buy 7 eggs and use 2 $1 off coupons and pay $.03 after coupon.

      • SD.

OK I like your thinking on this one. But by using the mars $1/2 will it let you buy 4 and using the overage toward the 2 additional? I would think that after the first 2 that the register would ring the additional 2 up at the full .29cent price and not give you the overage from the coupon.

        • Pmortonfamily

walgreens does not allow overage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ever this is not the cashier but walgreens. I am a cashier there. so please don't expect it if you you get it great if not deal with it@!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Syndilew

Our Walgreens don't even adjust the q down because “that means that you would be getting it for free”. No amount of talking to the 800 number makes a difference. And I carried the policy with me but actually had a cashier state that we weren't talking about a $4.99 item and a $5.00 off q. Stopped shopping there unless there is a B1G1 sale and a B1G1 q.

            • LindaB

I think Walgreens and every other store is only as good as the cashiers they employ. So I make it my business to find cashiers that are well informed and that I like before I do much coupon shopping. I ask questions and let them walk me to items just to make conversation, it helps to get to know your cashier. My business goes to the store with the BEST cashiers!

          • sealey5

I did a deal this week that involved the 39 cent Hershey candy. The coupon was $1 off any 2 Hershey products, therefore it would have given me overage. Now I realize that Walgreens doesn't give money back, so I got some other items that would've given me the 61 cent overage. Didn't have a problem at the register. I don't even recall of the register beeping. If it did I didn't realize it. :) happy couponing!

            • Anonymous

That is confusing! I think the register does beep when coupon value exceeds the specified item total; and thus, does not carry over overage to any other item(s): It seems that WAGs registers are moody

          • wendyc33

and you are exactly the kind of cashiers i get at walgreens, thats why i stick to cvs. have a better attitude plz at least you have a job ok.

          • Susanizanurse

Oh my … It seems you've consumed some of the poisoned Wags water my dear. The only antidote for it is to spend some quality time interacting with Walmart cashiers because the viciousness it causes can be dispersed between the two of you thus diluted to a tolerable level for we poor couponers.

          • SD.

Lord have mercy! Alls I wanted was a few free chocolate eggs honey. I will try to deal with it the best I can but dont be upset if I reach over the register and smack you upside your pretty head.

          • Meme

i wish there was an unlike button! Please don't yell at people for trying to work out their couponing.

          • Anonymous

I have always mentioned that WAGs employees are not the brightest and this post proves it. Although overage is not carried over to any other items, “overage” from the coupon for certain item does apply to the same item total. The person above read my mind and explained it well and correctly how it works. Please start learning !

    • CCShad

The Royal gelatin is so funny for me – just this Wednesday at Publix, my daughter grabbed this coupon out of the dispenser and I talked to her about how we don't grab coupons for products we don't use. But now it means free pudding! She will be thrilled.

      • CCShad

or it may be free gelatin, not pudding. still a free treat!

    • BRENDALUCAS1970

WHEN EVER I USE A RR TO PAY FOR MY STUFF I NEVER GET THE RR THAT ARE COMING TO ME. THEY TOLD ME AT THE STORE WHEN U PAY FOR SOMETHING USING RR YOU DONT GET ANY BACK THATS HOW THEY GET U . BUT I NOTICE LOOKING AT YOUR STUFF YOU GET RR BACK EVEN IF YOU USE A RR IS THERE A TICK?

      • Leaz

You won't get RR on something if you're using RR from the purchase of that same item. Like if they advertise $4 RR when you buy a gillette razor and you plan to buy multiple razors you can't use the RR from one to help pay for another. Well, you CAN, but the RR won't print on that transaction. So sometimes you'll have to save those RR for another time and use them on other items.

        • KA

or from the same manufacturer, such as P&G products!

      • charlie

i have also come across this with one store. waht happens is the rr;s dont print out until 30 or so seconds later and after they told me this same thing they then said oh , here they are.

    • Carman

Could someone help me understand the Pampers deal? I am very new to this, and I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I go in there tomorrow. From what I understand, I have to buy 2 packages to get the $3 RR, and I have the Infant care booklet with the $2 off coupon, but on the coupon it says one coupon per customer per offer. So how will I use two of these in the same transaction? And what does this mean? “$5 off Pampers Diapers purchase printing in Walgreens from current Pampers deal (use store – will take off $4 – and (2) $1.50 off, makes it $4 ea.)” I need help! Thanks!

      • Heather M.

You need to buy 2 diapers & use the 2 coupons. They put that on the coupon, but it means one coupon per pack of diapers. Use the 2 manfr. Qs with the store ones & then you'll get your register rewards back. The $5 off Pampers should print from the Catalina for your next purchase.

        • Carman

          Thank you!

      • andie98

Hey Carman, I've used these Walgreens coupons many a time, and yes it will knock off $2 per pack regardless of the number of packs, using just one coupon. (Though I've just bought three at a time).
And the beatuy of using a Walgreens coupon is that they do not have to keep it, since they don't have to send those off. When I use the Infant Care Coupons, I leave them all attached and let the casheir scan the coupon that I'm using, and then I place it back in my binder. HTH

        • Carman

          Thank you!

      • Workmom1

Reminder, sale don't start until 4/10/11…not tomorrow

    • Heather M.

Is the math on the Biore sale wrong. If they're $5.99 each, Buy 2 = $11.98 Use BOGO & $2 off makes it $3.99 due, get $5 RR back, Makes it Profit, right?

      • Steph063

Her math was using the BOGO coupon only. It would be a moneymaker if you use the $2 coupon also.

        • jr911

Actually, her math wasn't using the bogo…it says $3.49/ea which is wrong….it should be $.49/ea using the bogo.

          $5.99 x = $11.98
          less $5.99 bogo q
          total due $5.99
          Get back $5 rr

          • Meme

if she also uses the $2 q it will be a MM….from where can I find the $2 q, please? thanks for help!

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

cant use it. It one or the other. Both Qs listed are for the same item

      • Lexi

The coupons are buy strips, get cleanser free.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

The BOGO and $2 Qs are both on one item-Cleanser. So, you could use only one or the other. Better to use BOGO. That will leave 5.99 due giving 5RR back leaving the final cost of 0.49 cents for each.

    • Lana

I have some coupons for free bottles of All Laundry detergent sent to me by the company as replacements for a problem I had with some bottles. Can I use one coupon to get two bottles for free? Or does Walgreens ring up half price on BOGOs?

      • jessc5

At Walgreens, the 1st is full price and the second is free, so you would get 2 free! (Which is totally awesome and makes me jealous, lol!!!)

    • If there is anyone in the Winston-Salem, NC area please “like” the Winston-Salem Couponers page on Facebook. I just created it and I would like to have a group of people to talk to about the local deals. Also maybe any local tips! Maybe suggesting any clearance items found exc. Trading coupons or just Q&A! :)

    • Fatmama185

how due you get DiGiorno pizza coupon?

      • wendyc33

it was a facebook coupon deal, but now its gone i think. also that coupon will not work anyway because these are just the regular digiorno pizzas. the ones with the sides are more expensive.

    • Lynneweeks

is there anywhere I can find the month long deals published – my rr did not print this morning for the jergens deal and I wanted to take it back and show that I should get rr

      • EP

The Jergens deal was a misprint on the site and has been since removed. I did not find out this either until after I made my purchase. But regardless I guess I still got a good deal on the lotion.

    • scarieusc

Did great with the purexthis week! Had all my co-workers print out the 2 $2 off coupons we could and I took all of them in. Had to purchase a pack of gum, since they won't allow overage, but still made out with 15 bottles for only paying the tax! Still had plenty left on our shelves too and when I asked, plenty more in the back or I wouldn't have taken so many. :)

      • AJLautenslager

What site did you get the $2 off coupons for Purex?

        • SD.

I got the Purex from coupon couponsthingsbydede dot com I think she is out. I bought a few weeks ago figuring they wouldnt last long.

        • scarieusc

On the Purex website, click on the Zout banner at the bottom. Even though the coupon says off on Purex with Zout, it worked on any type of Purex deterget.

          • Meme

just because a coupon scans doesn't mean that you are allowed to do it. It gives honest couponers a bad name. Please use coupons that are intended for the exact product. After all, many things scan…it doesn't mean that the manufacturer wants it used for another product. Doing things like this will cause all types of scrutiny from your stores because they will begin to suspect you. This is all FYI of course. This is why the show extreme couponers hasn't gone over too well in the coupon world. There is a lady on there who is highlighted doing this very thing. But everyone has different ethnics/moral. And we are all entitled to our own opinion:)

            • couponingdad

get off your high horse, the store still gets credit for the sale and coupon, and it is the stores or cashiers choice how they handle the situation…. dont be jealous that you did not get that deal!!!!!! good job scarieusc!!!!!!

            • Mary

If it means I am jealous because I and other people follow the rules and hate it when other people dont and then BRAG about it, then call me / us jealous. If you knowingly do something wrong like use it for a product not mentioned or intended for it is fraud. Yes the store COULD get credit for the purchase, but if they are questioned about it and they do not carry sufficiant stock / quantities or even that item they WOULD not get reembursed. And as far as anyone being on a highhorse, rather be there than be with someone whom is rude…

            • BoxerMom

I remember a couple of years ago when Walgreens wasn't taking any printed coupons due to coupon fraud. using the wrong coupon on an item even though the register accepts it could very well push Walgreens back into not accepting internet printed coupons. And well lets face it, we'd all hate for that to happen

      • SD.

How did you do this with the Purex? I have 9 coupons I got from a coupon clipping service and Target is always out.

    • anneconover

I'm trying to start a couponers club in Greenville, NC. If you are interested in getting more details, please send an email to greenvillecouponers@gmail.com. Thanks!

    • Couponing4myfamily

I have a question about the month long always deal. I have a raincheck from a few weeks ago when they had the $2.99 get 2 RR. The raincheck is for the same items and they just adjusted down the price to $.99 each. Can I buy 2, use the raincheck to make them $.99 each and use (2) $1/1 coupons for free and get $4 in RR back?

      • Kelly

You would have to also buy a filler item in order to receive your RR.

        • Couponing4myfamily

Okay, so I could add like the .39 candy or something and the RR will print? What does that have to do with the RR printing? I'm just trying to figure it out. Thanks for the help!

          • couponsforme

because it is 99 take a 1.00 off you have to have the filler to make your total cost above the 1.00 mark, wags does not take off tax w/ coupons, but not sure about rr.

      • Amber

Mine too. Thanks for pointing that out!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Some below have misunderstood the question you are asking. You are asking if adjusting the price of an RR generating item that week will affect its normal RR printing on the machine.

I think I know it does not affect CVs registers because CVS registers read the item UPC scanned to generate the ExtraB rather than matching the price. I am not sure if WAGs register works the same way. So, anyone know for sure only then please respond !

    • All of my Wonka exceptional coupons from 3/6 are dated expired as of 4/3?? Am I missing something?

      • Haleys10

        No, same problem here!

        Ahhhh… that's why i couldn't find it :) Thanks

    • Godwin0209

Did they have the Walgreens Infant Care book in the store because I have asked at the store and they said they didn't have it?

    • Jenniferleigh067

The current deal is buy $20 in Pampers get $5 Pampers coupon. My question is, the current coupon printing states 'on your next Pampers diapers and wipes purchase', so you may have to buy wipes too for it to work. I've picked up 4 of the current deal, paying less than $12 out of pocket for 2 pks diapers & box of wipes!

      • Sweetie2643

yep…learned this lesson today…i thought it was counting the original package prices (not the 8.99 diapers sale price) and so i didn't get my RR.

    • Nicolesheffield07

does anyone know if the peeps choc. are going to be included?

    • nancycrom

I have an ip Biore q, can't remember where i printed it, but it says 2.00 off “any biore skincare cleanser”, not “any biore product”. So I can't do the Biore deal because both this q and the get 1 free cleanser will both attach to the cleanser, right? Do you guys all have the same one or a different ip q?

If I buy 2 Mars candies at 29 cents each and than use my 1.00 off coupon, do they apply the addtl 42 cents to my sale, or does the coupon only scan at 58 cents? Anyone know?

      • Dmaynard8596

they do not allow overage so the coupon will be adjusted to the actual price, walmart is the only place I know that allows overage.

        • guest

My Walgreens won't allow overage and either does Walmart but my Publix and CVS do

          • Dear Guest, Walmart has a new Coupon Policy that now says that Walmart Does allow Overages, I would suggest you go to Corp. walmart site and print out the Policy and bring it with you…

            • Susanizanurse

and cross your toes that having the policy with you will actually make a difference which has never been the case for me or any of my couponing friends!

          • Meme

            new policy…walmart does allow overage!

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

CVS register (and most likely Wags registers) does not allow overage. There are only two scenarios that work for “overage.”

            a) If you have $1/1 Q for an item and the item, let's say is .75 cents, and if you just buy 1 of that item (no matter how much you buy any other items in the transaction), the Q will beep. That is because the Q reads the price or total price of that coded item(s) only. In that case, if you buy two of the same item for a total price of the 2 at 1.50, then 1 $1 Q will not beep because the Q price of $1 is still equal or higher than the total price of the specifed item(s) (which in thise case would be ($1.50). In case, you try to use the second Q, then the second would beep because by then the balance on the specified items would remain only 50 cents.

            B) another exception is interesting. At CVS, if the item is on sale and pre-sale price is higher than the Q value, and that you do not scan your CVS card at the very beginning, then overgae Q will go through as long as the Q value is lower than the presale price in that case. CVS register takes off sale price discount at the end if you scan your card NOT the very first.

Let me know if the above is confusing

I believe WAGs register also works the same way now.

      • Fromkhadija

Just get 3 or 4 candies to get the max coupon value.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

$1 Q will likely beep and need to be adjusted down.
        a) Therefore, to make the most of it, buy 4 for a total of 1.16, use 1 Q and pay 16 cents for four.
        b) If not happy with 16 cents charge, then buy 3 for a total of 87 cents and the Q will need to be adjusted down to 87 cents. However, some employees may have difficulty understanding the concept may insist on taking off the price of two (58 cents) because the Q says $1 off on 2.

      • Tztang

It will only scan for what you ” paid” for the item…so you dont get the overages like at some other stores….

      • Gatorginger

I believe they will only take off what you spent instead of the $1.00 as this happened to me yesterday my coupon for $1.00 off two was only worth 34 cents because I couldn’t get any more since someone cleaned the shelf out at my store too lol. But I’m not 100 percent sure

    • Bethanyhoward

If I use the Pampers $5 off coupon that printed for this weeks deal will it still print the RR if I go in for the deal starting tomorrow? I can use the store coupon + the $5 off q – I can't use an additional manufacturers q, right?

      • Dmaynard8596

if you got the rr from buying pampers & go back to buy pampers you will not get a new rr. I learned my lesson on this one..

        • Bethanyhoward

but it says its a manufacture coupon on the $5 off coupon it's not a RR – it doesn't look like the RR. Just curious if it might work…

          • Meme

same company. but you could try and ask them to void if it doesn't work. Go to a nice cashier who wouldn't mind trying it out for you!

      • Firstbrownie

Just saw up at the top of the comments that someone was able to use the coupon with no problem, plus they received the $3RR and another $5 coupon. HTH!

    • Wellsbiz

Not sure what I did wrong, but the other day when I used a .75 cent coupon to pay for the $2.99 Colgate, it accepted it, but then it didn't spit out a $2.99 RR….She said because I had already got my 'savings' from them. So now I'm confused again.

      • Fromkhadija

If you used RR from buying the same thing before, then you won't get RR again. If it was because of the coupon, that was not correct.

        • Wellsbiz

Hmm… I'll have to look at the receipt and make sure I didn't – but thank you for letting me know that if I didn't then it was an error.

      • BoxerMom

Did you try that deal today? I think that was good for last weeks ad only. Today started the new ad

      • Gingerurso

Occasionally a RR doesn't print. The stores can't force it to print – apparently they don't control the Catalina machines. All you have to do is have your receipt handy and call the Catalina company. 888-322-3814. It takes several weeks but you eventually get it!

      • Britnee64

apparently the clerk wasnt interested in helping you because almost the same thing happened to me today.. garnier hair dye is on sale in my store this week 2 for $14 w/ $4 RR. i had 2 $3 off coupons i used when i bought them which made them $8 OOP :) anyway.. my RR's didnt print off! So I went to the manager and it took a minute but she fixed it for me! Next time ask to see a manager :)

    • Wilto

2nd week in a row where I'm not really “feeling” the Walgreens ad.
I suppose I'm going to be forced to buy more toothpaste to roll my $22 RR's!!!

      http://mencancoupontoo.blogspo

      • Clipcouponmissy

I have had a hard time trying to use my RR's some weeks, and saw an idea here…Someone mentioned they used them to buy their extra newspapers. My Walgreens sells my paper for $1.00, rather than the $1.50 everyone else charges, so I did this today…Bought 4 papers, and used some RR's at the same time!

      • Erin C

since the rr's are a mfr q, my publix will take them.

    • Hollakj

The coupon for the Luster 7 toothpaste from RP 2/13 expired on 3/31/11

      • Hollakj

There is a 1.50 coupon in the SS 4/3

        • Annesuz13

          Thank you :-)

This is exactly what I was looking for, I was bummed the other one from 2/13 was expired.

    • Teresa

Went to Walgreens this morning I bought 72 Snicker eggs and 5 bars Yardley Soap total spent $6.21..I had 21 $1 of Mar's coupons and the soap is on sale for .69…

      • Coupongal18

No offense – but did you REALLY need 72 Snicker eggs? I tried to get two today and there were no more…the shelf was empty- I'm not trying to be ugly but leave some for the rest of the couponers out there!!!!!

        • Shon

Maybe she needs 72 for an upcoming event. 72 may seem obsessive to you, yet its not right to just anyone for the amt that they may need. I'm not gonna get 72 eggs, yet I'll probably have about 40-50 for easter baskets at church. If you can't find the eggs because they're out at your store, try another or get a rain check. Blasting someone else isn't gonna make eggs magically appear at your store.

          • Coupongal18

I wasn't blasting anyone but 72 – come on!!!! Think what you may but that is a bit much……I understand the stores being out can be contributed to a lot of people buying up the good deals but when ONE person buys THAT many….if they need that many, go to a few different stores so that they are some actually left on the shelf for others!

            • Earnjr8fan

I got about 50 last time they were on sale for the students in my class so I am sure there was a reason she got that many. I know that I didn't clear the shelf because I went to several stores and there were BOXES of them left.

            • Coupongal18

Right – I understand that – I'm a teacher myself so I do have to buy things in a big amount sometimes but on the same note, as I mentioned before, I try to go to a few different stores so I don't clear the shelves out of one place…anyway…..glad you got what you wanted…happy couponing!!!!!

            • Kb

when you are unkind to those who are excited to find what they needed, it makes everyone else decide to quit mentioned their finds……please stop.

            • Lisa

Then stop. No one wants to hear how you cleared shelves!!!!!!!

            • Tztang

The circular says limit 6…how can you get away with getting 72?'

            • sealey5

That was on a different deal, I believe the one's she got were the 29 cent Snicker deal.

        • Meme

i see what you mean which is why I always suggest that people order through the manager if your store allows that kind of thing. There will be plenty on the shelf for “regular customers”, that way!

        • guest

I agree thats why the limit is 6

    • Jeanna

Beware! Kroger is changing its coupon policies. I think it's due to TV Extreme Couponing. My thought is that program is going to make it hard on couponers. Anybody else?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think blog sites posting and gloating “profit,” “moneymaking” with pictures of tons of items in background are also making it hard on couponers.

    • Wilto

Paid $2.94 for $25.12 worth of stuff at Wags this week.

I would love for you guys to check out my blog!

      http://mencancoupontoo.blogspo

    • Mandy

I actually found a 7 dollar off coupon good for this week only for non drowsy claritin in my smartsource in the austin texas paper. That will make for an AWESOME deal on this weeks claritin. With it being 19.99 then minus the 2 dollar store coupon and minus the 7 dollar manufacturers coupon and then the 4 RR makes it 6.99!

    • Soniac803

the willie wonka candy is not on sale for 99c at my store
it is 1.99 so my bars would be a 1.00 each with the 1.00 off coupons instead of free

    • Coupongal18

Good news couponers who need diapers!!!!

I went to WAGS this morning and I needed to grab 2 packers of Diapers because we only use Pampers (brand loyalty, which is a no-no, I know but Huggies just don't do it for my baby)….anyway, I had the $5 coupon from the deal last week and I figured I wouldnt get the$3 RR because I was using the coupon from the same product —well, low and behold, I got the $3RR even though I used the coupon PLUS I got another $5 diaper coupon – Pretty good!!!!

      Here is what I bought:
      (1) Carefree pantiliners
      (2) Vitality gums
      (2) Cruiser Diapers packs
      (1) Baby wipes (had to get this to use the coupon)

      Total Before coupons/sales: $22.74
      OOP after coupons/RR/sales – $12.98
So, I still had to pay $12.98 BUT i got two packs of diapers, wipes, and gum and pantiliners to boot! I also got another Diaper/wipe $5 coupon and $3RR (diapers) and $1 RR (panitliners)

      Overall, a great trip!!!!!

      Thanks Jenny!!!

      • RJ

did you have the $2 wags coupon from the baby care booklet? If so, where do you find the booklet?

        • Coupongal18

No, I didn't get that coupon – I don't have the baby care booklet – my diapers coupon I had was from the sale going on this past week!

        • Gatorginger

I think they were located on the beauty counter, I did the diaper deal for my daughter and I got two packs of diapers for $8.00 but got $3.00 back so it was like I paid $5.00 for both lol

    • Susan

At Wags this morning, I bought 14 Snickers eggs, used 2) $1/2 Q's and a $2/2, 10 Royal Gelatins used 2)Q's $1/5, and 6 BC Muffin mixes $.29ea in ad Q. Didn't have any RR's, but paid only $1.80. Now I'm enjoying a Snickers Egg and a Diet Pepsi. LOL

    • Mdhall08

where do you find the baby & pharmacy booklets I read comments about?

      • couponmama

You can look on the beauty counter, or ask the manager if they don't have any out.

    • guest

I didn't see this on the list but there was .50 carefree q in the 3/27 RP

    • Just wondering…am I adding wrong or is her Biore deal totaled incorrectly? If the Biore products are on sale for $5.99 each and you use a bogo coupon that brings it down to $3.00 each, then she also has listed a $2.00 facebook coupon which would then bring it down to $2.00 each. Yet at the bottom it says $3.49 each?

      • Tille

In the sale paper it says you can use 1 coupon. I guess you have to chose between the B1G1 or the 2.00 off to be able to get the $5 RR. Not sure though.

        • Yeah your prob right. I dont have the $2. coupon though but I just noticed her total was high! Even if you take away the $2. coupon its still high. Cause 2 Biore products at $5.99 is $11.98. But if you have the BOGO coupon that makes them both $5.99 which would equal like $2.99 each. You see the deal? I skipped over it at first but then when I did the math I started thinking wait thats not right.

          • Tille

Once you get the $5 RR it is like getting them for .50 each. With the B1G1 you will pay 5.99 for 2 and get the $5 RR so in effect 2 items for .99. Make sense? Hope it works for you!

            • Yes its great!!! Especially since I noticed that this is on sale in all three drug stores this week :) I just hope ppl notice her math is wrong so that they can grab the deal too :)

          • Adriane Kane

I have done the Biore deal several times and this is what worked for me every time. I used the B1G1 coupon for the strips and got the cleanser for free (they even allowed me to get the scrubs with this coupon). I stacked the B1G1 with a $2/1 and a $1/1 Biroe coupon. I think I got lucky that my store allowed me to use all 3 coupons. So I paid $3.99 out of pocket and got $5 in register rewards. I did this 3 times so far. Each time I thought my luck would run out but it didn't, lol.

            • Adriane Kane

Sorry, my math is incorrect… I only paid $2.99 OOP, even better!

    • couponmama

Check the clearance section if you have kids…my Walgreens had lots of Crayola marked down to .50! Color Wonder, Color Explosion, Model Magic. I think regular price was $5.99 each so that's a great deal if you have any little picassos in your life!

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

    • guest

can someone explain to me how to do the always pads thing. Like if both pads are 3 each and u use 2 $1 dollar copon how is it free for both?

      • Char

if you buy 2 you will get a RR for $4.00 to use on your next purchase.

      • guest

you get $4 RR back for purchasing two.

        (2) always pads @ $3 each
        (2) $1 off coupons
        total out of pocket = $6 – $2 = $4.

but after you purchase, you get $4 in Register Rewards to use on your next purchase.

you pay $4 to get 2 always pads plus $4 back.

      • germangirl

You will still have to pay $4 but get back $4 RR which will make it free.

    • EP

Money Maker Deal – On the Nescafe Taster's Choice (7ct) in my store they were $1.00 each – so I went in and bought 4 of them at $4.00 and got back $4.00 in RR but I also got a catalina that printed for $1.50/3 – so I was able to go back in and buy 4 more at $4.00, used $1.50/3 coupon, spend $2.50 OOP and got back a $4.00 RR and another coupon for $1.50/3.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

It could have been better if you also used 50 cents manuf Qs

    • Lisab

Is there a limit on the Luster toothpaste and the Carefree liners? I bought 2 of each and the RRs only printed for one of each. Now I am going to return One toothpaste and One panty liner, Is it normal to split up the transactions so you get the rewards? I am new to this I was annoyed especially when they sent someone for a price check and he was wrong about the price- Of course couponers are very careful and know our prices!

      • Mel0011

Yes, you need to split up transactions. Only 1 RR deal for the same item pruchased.

      • Jstjohnstar

4 carefree liners. I just went to the store. Also I am upset because my walgreens store is out of biore products that I can get for free and snickers egg's that I can get for free. :(

      • Dianne L

If you bought all of them together, then what happened is correct, sadly. You do have to buy them separately, a toothpaste and a box of liners on each receipt will work. BUT, then you can't use the RRs that you get on the first transaction to help pay for the 2nd set of toothpaste and liners, or you won't get RRs. One of the many irksome nuances of shopping at Walgreens!

      • sealey5

When dealing with getting RR's I always split up my purchases into seperate transactions. You won't get more than 1 RR for each product otherwise. I just recently started doing Walgreens deals as well. It get easier, I promise! :)

        • Rebirthcandles

So even though it's a little time consuming, could we get the RR for Carefree liners if we had separate transactions? For example: if I would go inside the store multiple times.

          • Firstbrownie

Yes, but keep in mind that you can't pay for the carefree liners with the RR that came from the previous carefree liners transaction because you won't get another RR. That goes for any RR product at Wags….can't use RR from the same manufacture as the product you are buying that produces RR as the next one won't print. Also, remember that others are shopping too, so don't buy out the store! :)

    • Nathanandjessecollins

I just have a question. I started going to CVS a couple weeks ago and have pretty much figured them out. The other day I started with Walgreens, but I tried to make a transaction yesterday that they would not allow me to do. It may be that I do not understand their policies well enough, but here is what I tried to do. I purchased two bags of mars candy along with two of the glade premium sprays. I have a $2.00 off coupon for the mars candy when you buy two and I had $1 off on each of the sprays. Along with this Walgreens had $1 off for the candy and $1 off for the sprays when you bought two. After stacking my coupons with the Walgreens coupons my total came to $4.70. I also had $3 of RR from a previous purchase. However, the manager would not allow me to use the RR with the other coupons in my transaction. I was told that the RR are a manufacturers coupons as well, thus I could not use it with my other manufacturers coupons. I made the puchase anyway, but is this correct? I just figured at that point the RR were like the ECB at CVS and I should have gotten to use this as well. Please advise.

      • sealey5

It sounds to me that you had more coupons than products. They have a coupon to product ratio rule.If you have 4 items, and you have 6 coupons, then you will need to get 2 more items to cover the coupons. That's what they call “fillers”. It can be anything they sell. That's most likely why the register beeped when you tried to use your RR's.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

It seemd like you were short of a “filler” item. All you needed was some small item for few cents or so and scan it in the transaction. Then you could have used $3RR with no problem at all. You would have ended up paying only around $2 subtotal from pocket. The manager could have been helpful and nice and could have advised you to pick something smalle from the counter.

    • Jenn3299

Gillette disposable razors are B1GO 50% off this week. There's also a BOGOF coupon for Gillette razors. Will Walgreens deduct the full price or just the 50% off price for one of these coupons?

      • MelSat85

My WalGreens took off the original price, but I think that was because the cashier was too busy talking to her boyfriend who was beside the counter. So she didn't pay attention…and I didn't say anything since she was being so inconsiderate and rude. Hope yours takes off the original price as well!!

    • Fatmama185

Just got home from walgreeens had to drive 18 miles they were out of most everything a wasted trip very little easter candy and out of what ever was on sale back to cvs for me

    • Theresamoss80

Has anyone tried the Hershey's deal? My ad says get $5 rr when you purchase $10 in product, however it says on here it is only a $5 coupon for your next Hershey's purchase. Can someone please clarify. Thanks

      • Ecadnac

It is $5 off your next Hershey purchase.

    • Mandy

ok I am confused on the whole creststrips deal. The coupon says it is good all week, but on here it says it is good only on Saturday 10 to 5.

      • Mccuen

The in-store coupon for $10 off is good all week long for the crest white strips, however on Saturday only the beauty advisor for your store will have an additional $10 manufacturer coupon for a total of $20 off your crest white strips.

    • ladylinde

Does anybody know if Walgreens limits the number of times you can get RR for the same item? I know CVS lists how many times you can do their deals… I have a bunch of Qs for Biore, but I don't know if they'll let me do them all…

      • Delaina910

There is no limit. You just want to make sure you separate the items that you will get RR's for if they are the same otherwise you will only get one RR if you purchase those like items in one transaction. For example, you would have to separate all of the Carefree liners if you want to get a RR for each one you had coupons for.

    • Debbymantell

Went to Walgreens and bought a John Freida product. The girl at the cosmetic counter was very helpful. Said if I paid there I would get a 1.00 coupon plus one of John Freida's new coloring product for free. It is a 12.99 value. Since I do not color my hair she gave me the coupon to pass on to a friend.

      • Mccuen

Most of the time if you check out in Cosmetics they offer all kinds of incentives. Plus you don't have the hassle of having people behind you waiting on you to do multiple transactions, its much more relaxed, plus beauty advisors are sent numerous coupons that they can pass along to the customers if they would just take the time to check out there instead of at the front.

    • Christmaswidow

This Saturday all Walgreens will be having a demostration called “Saturdate”. They have these twice a month. This week is Crest White Strips, Olay Serum, and Fakkai hair products. Beauty advisor usually get additional coupons that are used on that Saturdate only. This week I know they will have the addition $10.00 Crest coupon for those people that don't have it, and maybe some for the other products.

      • Janas94

love Saturdate! I just colored my hair with John Freida's new coloring product for free. WOW that was easy to cover the gray hair.gray hair at young age…lol love the girl at my Walgreens Beauty counter very helpful!!

Stride Shift single packs are for 0.40 cents (only the “Citrus” flavor). Buy 5 of them, use 2 $1 off coupons and get 5 packs for a sub-total of $0.00

      • Guest

Just did this. Only, mine were on sale for .37 so I had to buy six because the total added up to $1.85 and she wouldn't push my 2nd $1 off coupon through. Still, .22 for six packs of gum is a good deal

      • Denise

Where did you get the $1 off Coupons for the Stride?

    • Liza in SC

At our Walgreens, if you use a Manufacturer's coupon on an item that you are supposed to get RRs back on, the RR's won't print out. The manager of our store said it was because the RR's were also supplied by the Manufacturer. Does this make sense to ANYBODY?

      • AllisonNisley

If for any reason your RR does not print, you can call 1-888-8Coupon and they will mail you your RR’s.

I don't know if this works but I seen it on another site. I have never had to use it though.

      • Coupongal18

Yes, that's just the rule – WAGS has a lot of rules that I'm just now getting to understanding but yes, if you use a RR to pay for the same product or something made by that company (P&G) for example, it will not print the RR

      • Slgumm

I have never had that happen at my walgreens. I pretty much always use coupons to buy the stuff that's supposed to print an RR. As long as your are buying the item the RR should print because RR's are not for use on a specific product just a future purchase. I would call corporate, and give them your store number. Then maybe they can train their employees on the coupon policy.

    • Amber

my walgreens in chattanooga, TN has clearance highlighters for five cents each. This makes a great filler item!

    • Rlsims91

Can i buy the two all detergents for the bogo deal anduse the 2 – $1 off coupons?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        yes

        • Rlsims91

So if its on sale buy one at 6.99 get one free that means i get two laundry detergents. For 4.99?

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

            Yep!

    • Waxhawsaver

Does anyone know if Russel Stover eggs $.29 this week are a Mars easter product? My walgreens is sold out of snickers and butterfinger eggs for $.29. This man who was running the register said the eggs i bought were Russel Stover not Mars so he would not even try to scan my Q. I thought Mars made all three products, ie the combo sale.

      • jennifer

I bought the russel stover peanut butter eggs and used the $1/2 Mars coupon without any trouble. The lady said all the eggs should work with that coupon.

        • grrlpanda

Mine sold out too but I could not use the Mars coupon for the Russel Stover because it is not considered part of the Mars company

      • guest

I have one of those right here and it does not say Mars, just Russell Stover…

    • Amber

If you buy more than one item that's giving a RR, will you still get one RR per item…or should I break it up into different transactions to get each RR?

      • Slgumm

If you are buying multiples of the same item then you need to break it up into different transactions.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

the above and.. do not pay with the same RR that you received on that particular item

    • darbe

omg another frustrating experience at wags! I tried to used their own store coupon for 2 glade candles and a manufacturer coupon-was told NO by manager because apparently their own store coupon is considered a manufacturer coupon so she said I could only use 1 coupon. I left the candles in the store! I live in central FL, has anybody else had this problem?

      • Mccuen

What in-store Glade coupon were you trying to use? Is it in the weekly sale paper or the monthly coupon book? The policy is 1 coupon per item and the Walgreens In-store coupons don't count. So if you had 2 Glade Candles you should have been able to use 2 manufacturer coupons plus the in-store coupon. The best thing to do is print out their coupon policy and take it back to the manager. It sounds like a store that has a lot of coupon problems and is overcautious. Doesn't make them bad or stupid just overcautious.

      • Chrissy

This happened to me a few weeks back with baby wipes. I live in Central FL too.

      • Sarahkatrina

i'm in north west florida and I have to agrue with the managers here every week. Just yesterday I had to fight for 20 minutes over the schik hydro deal and the wonka/nestle deal. I won in the end but still a HUGE pain, I mean come on people… don't put the item on sale when there is an active coupon out there if you don't want people to take advantage, thats what couponing is all about! And the cashier is looking at me all mad… I don't get it. Your working a $8 an hour job, maybe you should pay attention to what I'm doing here and save yourself a little money too WAGS lady! craziness!

    • Mccuen

Just an FYI – When using coupons at Walgreens there is an order to them that you should know. Once all of your items are rung up and you hand over the coupons to be scanned make sure you give them to the cashier in this order…. Register Rewards, Manufacturer Coupons then Walgreens In-Store Coupons. And if your Manufacturer coupons are Buy One Get One coupons then make sure to have them scanned before your dollar off Manufacturer Coupons. (for example if you have a $2 RR you want to use and a $2 off Manufacturer Coupon, B1G1 free Manufacturer Coupon and a $2 off Walgreens In-store Coupon, then make sure the cashier scans the $2 RR first, then the B1G1 free Manufacturer Coupon second, then the $2 off Manufacturer Coupon third, then the $2 off Walgreens In-store Coupon last. This is for every transaction. And will put a stop to a lot of the beeping at the register when you try to use your coupons. TRUST ME on this one.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I have a different view on this. It does not make any difference. The register is sneaky-it magically erases certain coupons no matter when scanned if there is some “conflict.”

For example, Reach toothpaste was for $1.xx with WAG Q sale for 0.99. But the manuf Q was for $1. So, you would, lets say,

buy 2 Reach for $1.xx each–>pay with 2 manuf Q $1–> goes with no beep–> scan wags Q–>reach price goes down to 0.99 ech–> causing overage (2cents) from 2 manuf Qs–>it magically erases 1 manuf Q. $1 value from your screen and total (of course, if you had scanned wags Q first, then the second Reach manuf Q will simply beep in the first place).

Therefore, the order did not matter.

On another occasion, a $10RR was scanned first and then, let's say, $1 manuf Q was scanned at the end that would cause negative balance, then the sneaky register scanned the $1 Q with no problem but magically erased the $10RR from the scene altogether. Therefore, I am having trouble the way the register has been programmed.

        • Mccuen

Ok there is no way for the register to delete a coupon without the cashier physically doing it. The register not computer is not capable of that. And yes it does matter the order, if you are trying to sneak in coupons yourself to make an overage then no it won't work but if you don't do it that order and you try it in another order your balance WILL BE different. If you do it in the order above it will be less. If you are using a manuf coupon for $4 and the item is $3 then yes the cashier will have to override the 4 and make it a 3, if your cashier doesn't do that then no order will work for you. Registers don't have a brain of their own and can't magically take things off of it without hitting “void” and scanning it and that includes coupons. If you don't want an information tip that is fine but I know what I am talking about and for others who are just starting out should try the order and see if they have less problems. Its not a guarantee but it will work most of the time.

    • Ashley

Help!! ok under the Pampers deal I dont understand where the “use store – will take $4 off” is coming from, what is this???

      • Sandra

There is a $2 off Pampers walgreens coupon in the Infant Care Book that is hard to come by (I bought a couple off ebay). The code is 5521 if your store will just punch it in for you (mine won't, they have to see a coupon). Another thing, if my coupon doesn't scan and code is punched in, it only takes off $2 for 1 pack but if it scans it will take off $2 for each pack. Not sure if it was just the one time, but I make sure they can scan it!

        • Mtphilpott

thanks I was looking for the code!

    • atlanta coupon queen

has anyone done the pampers deal and used the $5 catalina from last week? Does it still print the RR for this week? Just curious . . .

      • Sandra

I'm wondering the same thing! I will try it later this week… I'm thinking we will still get the 3RR, just maybe not another $5 catalina that is being reported as still printing.

      • Guest

look at post “Coupongal18 from 2 days ago
got the 3RR and another 5off

      • guest

YES!! Did this 3 times yesterday, one right after the other! The first time, I didn't have the $5 catalina. I got 2 pks diapers, 1 pack of wipes (to get to $20.00), used the q in infant care book, (2) $1.50 q, & .50 q and a $5 catalina AND a $3 RR came out! I turned around and used the $5 catalina on another 2 pks diapers & 1 pack of wipes, and another $5 cat + $3 RR spit out and I did it again!!

        • guest

Now, a friend of mine bought the 2 pks for $18 to get the 3RR and she got the 3RR and a $2 catalina.

    • Laneynrick

I wish Walgreens in Kannapolis, NC had a in store coupon machine. Does any one know if it's only at certain Walgreens?

      • Firstbrownie

I have never heard of Walgreen's having an in-store coupon machine; CVS does, though. Maybe you are think of the Wag's in-store coupons or the catalina machine?

    • Imousework

Wags has Domino Sugar and Carnation Evaportated Milk on sale for .99. Do any of you know of any better deals maybe at Kroger or Publix?

    • Sallen

the coupon matched up for the Luster White 7 toothpaste in SS 2/13 has already expired. (on 3/31/11)

      • Sallen

there is a coupon in SS 4/3 for $1.50 off

        • Mcleodsc

          Ugh-was not in mine.

    • Sherpent

Is there a way to print all the printables at once or at least compile them together rather than going thru and printing each one??? Please help!!

    • Catherine Obriencoupon

Okay, so the ad says that the pampers jumbo pack diapers are 2 for $18 and you get 3RR which makes them 2 for $15 (or 7.50 ea). Well, they have a $2 off each pampers in the infant care booklet and I had a 1.50 manu. coupon. So I was supposed to get 3.50 off each. Well, for some reason ONE pack was ringing up 4.99 each BEFORE coupons.
When I bought 2 I used the $2 off each in-store coup for both and two $1.50/1 manu coup. (4 coups total) and still got the $3RR.
I ended up paying 2.98 for 2 plus got $3RR!!
I am not sure how it happened this way but it is worth checking out!

      • atlanta coupon queen

Nice . . . I just did it and both mine rang up as $9. What kind of pampers rang up as $4.50 – I might need to go back . . .

        • Catherine Obriencoupon

i got the pampers jumbo packs sizes 3-5 baby dry

      • Kim

Where did you get the infant care booklet?

    • Stefluvs2sign

My Wags has no knowledge of the “month long deal” on the always listed below and they did not ring up $3 each or print a RR

$4 RR WYB (2) Always Leakguard Plus 20-22 ct or Liners 30-34 ct $3 ea
-$1 off Always product, Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet
-$1 off Always product, RP 3/20
-$1 off Always pads, clean or feminine cleansing cloths, PG 4/03
(use (2) $1 off coupons, makes both FREE)

      • Swetemlisa

        same here

    • Jaceysmommy

I had my first negative experience at a Wags yesterday. Tried to do the Pamper deal and had my 2-1.50 off Q's. Manager said I could not use both of them. I was furious! Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Please list the exact items, sale prices, RR etc in that transaction

      • atlanta coupon queen

No – I bought 2 jumbo pampers, 1 pampers sensitive wipes, and 2 filler items – the jello. I used 2 $1.50 man q, the $5 off from last week's pampers deal, and 2 $3 register rewards from last week. I also used the $2 off each pack WAGS coupon from the infant book.
        Pampers Cruisers Jumbo – $9.00
        Pampers Cruisers Jumbo – $9.00
        Pampers Wipes – $2.49
        Jello – .69
        Jello – .69

        I used
        $5 Catalina
        $1.50 man q
        $1.50 man q
        $3 RR
        $3 RR
        $4 – WAGS q (2 @$2.00 off)
In ad coupon for jello – $.98

        Subtotal – $2.89
Received $3 RR and $5 Catalina for next purchase of Pampers Diapers and Wipes over $5

        • guest

My wags took only one of the $1.50 q for the diapers because the $5 catalina I used was for a pack of diapers and wipes, so in essence, that was the manu. q for the other pack of diapers…

        • Mtphilpott

Do you have the coupon code out of the infant book? I need it, don't have the coupon but they will enter the code…

    • Jaceysmommy

      Get 3RR when you buy 2 Pampers @ 9.00. He said I couldnt use 2 1.50 off Q's.

    • GraphicsGirl

So, I tried to do the Cadbury/Hershey’s/Nestle deal using the $1 off Wonka coupon and the .99 in ad coupon, but it didn't work. The cashier said the Wonka bars were not part of the in ad coupon sale. That really stinks because they ARE made by Nestle and they ARE the size specified in the ad. I guess I could have gotten 2 Wonka bars for $2 OR 2 Giant Nestle Crunch bars for $2, but I was just too disappointed about not getting them for free. :(

      • Sarahkatrina

my walgreens wouldn't let me use these together either :( or the snickers/cadbury deal. the manager says “mam, we can't just give you stuff for free”

      • BoxerMom

The size in the ad specified is for the Cadbury 3.5oz bars. The Wonka Exceptionals we're never part of that in ad coupon. Again it's just another mistake on the southern savers site

    • Walkernanny

There is a $1 Q for the Schick Shave Gel on Schick's facebook page. Combined with the B1G1 sale I got my 2 for .89 each!

    • Britt_bowles

Schick Hydro 5 razor is B1G1. If you go on Facebook, click on the “like” button on the Schick Hydro Experience facebook page. Click on the “Have a Blast” button then click “Get Coupons”. $3 off the Hydro razor and $1 off the Hydro shaving gel!!

      • Sarahkatrina

you can print both coupons twice, combined with the B1G1 I paid $1.50 each for the hydro 5s and same goes with the shave gel, gotta print all 4 coupons to get the good deal :)

    • Supermom

Lansinoh Breast pads and milk storage bags $2.00 off making it $4.99 for the 25 count milk bags (7.99 at Babies r us or target) or $3.79 for the 36 count breast pads (normLLY 5-7$)…pretty good deal!

    • Mandy

Just wondering, is the $5.00 off Pampers coupon still printing when you purchase pampers from this week's (through Saturday the 16th) deal or was it only printing last week? Can someone let me know if possible, thanks!

      • Val

Just got back from Wal the diaper offer is buy 2 at 9 each get 3RR; i was not able to use the 5RR from last week (per cupon 5off diapers and wipes but total has to be 5 or more) I use 2 wal/man coupons. last week i was able to use the 5off to get another deal. this week I tried to do it 2 times and no luck!!

      • Mtphilpott

Do you have the code off the store coupon for the pampers? My wags doesn't require the coupon but I need the code…..

    • Mandy

Also, is the deal where you spent $20.00 in Pampers and get the $5.00 catalina coupon still running THIS week as well??!! Help! Thanks! :)

      • Sandra

Suppose to still be printing when you spend $20.

        • Mandy

          Thanks! :)

        • Mandy

Also, is it a $5.00 off Pampers diapers catalina or a $5.00 off $20.00 Pampers purchase? Thanks!

    • Disshair

Just got back from walgreens had all my coupons separated was excited to get some good deals the lady was willing to do separate transactions I got 10 of the mars snicker eggs 4 for $3 I had 1off 2 she said they weren't included i said it shows right there in the pic not that I go by that by why put a pic of all different ones and not include them she said they had a meeting about it and it was the ones listed u could hardly read it so it messed me all up spent more than I wanted

    • Disshair

Continued: I think walgreens must be getting stricter on their policy ill just use those coupons on the individual eggs that are 29c they would have. Made more money the other way

    • Happymom

Went to Walgreens today. Bought two Revlon slanted tweezers on sale for $2.49 used (2)-$1 off coupons from tthe April 2011 Savings Booklet(Walgreens coupon), paid $2.98+ tax. I was happy when I got back $2 off any Revlon beauty tools from the catalina machine. So I went back and purchase 2 more of the revlon tweezers, used the $2 off catalina coupon and (2)-$1 off walgreens coupon. Paid $0.52 plus $0.32 tax. Couldn't believe it when another $2 off Revlon coupon printed. I did not know it was possible to use a catalina coupon to purchase the same item you got the catalina coupon from and get another. I was going to try it again, but I was running late to pick up my son.

      • Happymom

I forgot to include $0.29 easter egg to the purchase (as a filler for the 3 coupons I used).
