      the profoot insoles are wonderful

      • jennifr1966

Do you know how much they're charging for the insoles?

    • wilson

I have heard there are mail in rebates on some of the pilot packages which would make for overage.

      • Barbara

I picked some up tonight, The MIR is $1.25/1, $2.75/2 & $4.50/3. Money Maker and this is a great filler item.

        • Natalie559

Thanks for the tip- needed a filler and needed highlighters- paid $.60 for 3 and get to mail off for a $4.50 rebate- sounds like a win win win situation for me :)

          • aolss

Needed filler items so I piked up two packs but no rebate form on mine. Got the last two packs of either the highlighters or pens in the store :(

        • Jackie Hanson

Do you think the manufacture will notice that there was a $1.00 manufacture coupon on the purchase of the pens.? You have to circle the price on your receipt and it shows the coupon. I was denied a refund on a glucose monitor once because the manufacturer said that I got the item free with a manufacter coupon.
Just wondering . I don't want to waste a postage stamp.

          • janet5631

at the begining of the transaction ASK FOR A GIFT RECEIPT and ur problem will b solved!

I can't get the $2 off Nature's Bounty, just $1 off. Is there another zip to use?

      • nolandi

it's under my zip try 29349 good luck!!

    • MP

I can't find the Nature's Bounty coupons either? Can someone please help?

      • nolandi

try 29349 just saw it there!

    • frugal gal

i never knew could us coupon with the in store ad also, so i am going to try it this week, but I wam wondering do I need a filler item also, because of walgreens coupon limit of coupons can be more than items purchased

      • mandy

A store coupon/Walgreens coupon does not count towards the limit of coupons. Make sure it says store coupon & not a manufacturer coupon, otherwise it will count. Walgreens offers both types. You can use 1 manuf + 1 store coupon, but only the manuf coupon counts towards the ratio of items vs. coupons…

      • Krista_A

You do not need filler items when you stack store coupons! One good thing about Wags which is unusual. Good luck with your shopping :)

        • ItsACouponThing

Really? They made me do it, but it was still worthwhile.

    • I came up with 4 freebies and 14 under $1. Don't forget about the Sudafed OM money maker it is all month long.
I got $4.00 off Sudafed OM, any 0.5 fl oz – 03-14-10 RP (I live in Fl and have heard others only got a $2.00 off), so this makes you a $3.00 Profit.
      Here's how:
$5 RR wyb (2) of participating Cold and Allergy relief products at $4.99 ea:
Sudafed PE 18-24 ct or Nasal Mist .5 oz
      $4.00 0ff Sudafed OM, any 0.5 fl oz – 03-14-10 RP (x2)
      $4.99 x2 = $9.98 – $8 = $1.98 – $5.00 (RR)= Profit $3.02

      • Tracie

        Great tip- thanks!

      • jhoran

I must be missing something here. The q I have for the sudafed om say “save 4.00 on sudafed om with the puchase of any sudafed product” which means that you would have to buy a sudafed product to get 4.00 off the sudafed om.

      • jennifr1966

        Mine is only $2 off, but even after buying 2 @ $5 each, it's only $1 after RR: $5 x 2 = $10 – $2 -$2 = $6. I will have a $2.50 RR, so using that, total is $3.50 and will get $5 RR back! Question, though: what is OM?

    • BriB

If I'm buying the $10 in P&G products and I use coupons, do I get the RR before the price of the coupons or after? If I had coupons that made the total price go under $10 would the RR still print off?

      Thank you!

      • Sharon

yes the RR will still print

    • Amy

What zipcode do you use for the $4 off Zyrtec product 24 count?

    • JW

when i went to buy a pack of the frixon pens today, i noticed that our walgeens had them in two different places. they had about 5 packs in the stationary department and then about 50 packs in the toy department. then ones in the toy department had mail in rebates on the back of the package. if you buy 1 pack then you get 1.25, buy 2 packs and get 2.75 and buy 3 packs and get 4.50. the same was true of the frixon highlighters. Just thought some of you might like to know.

      • jhoran

Thanks for the tip. I had to buy 6 pks today to use my RR's

    • KMJ

I went to walgreens this am and tried to do the 3 toothbrush/pilot highlighter transaction and the manager said that in order to recv the reg reward you can not use man coupons towards the items!!!She said you have to pay full price in order to get RR. I made her do it but she said in the future they would not accept coupons and give RR!!!!!!!! What???

      • Carrie

I would try asking corporate about that, I've never had problems using man. coupons and receiving applicable RRs.

      • Lucy

That's just BS… who'll be insterested in RRs if you can't get it and use a coupon?

    • KerriMJANIS

I went to walgreens this am and tried to do the 3 toothbrush/pilot highlighter transaction and the manager said that in order to recv the reg reward you can not use man coupons towards the items!!!She said you have to pay full price in order to get RR. I made her do it but she said in the future they would not accept coupons and give RR!!!!!!!! What???

      • ItsACouponThing

I have a FEELING that Walgreens is heading that way. (Thank goodness there's no gossip about CVS!) I used coupons on Saturday and got RRs back, but honestly, if they are changing their policies, they need to make it clearly public, as in put it in their ad!

        • Tracie

If you look at the Wags ad, they advertise “See Coupon In Sundays Paper” along with the RR that the item is paying. This is not consistent with what the Mgr. is telling you and I would have the Mgr. look at their ad which encorages the use of coupons.

          • jennifr1966

Tracie, thank you so very much for the heads-up! I have only run into trouble once with register coupons, and that was at CVS. I had manufacturer coupons plus ECBs to help pay for like 7 items, all of which were supposed to have ECBs attached. I ended up paying like $1 out of pocket, because I gave them the same number of ECBs I had on hand to equal the number they were going to be printing out. Only one printed for $3 ECB. The girl didn't know what happened, so she handed me off to the manager, who was very snippy with me and claimed that I didn't get them because of all my coupons! After giving me one of “those looks,” she did print them for me, anyway, but I walked out feeling very uncomfortable.
I honestly believe that manufacturers expect – and even *want* – us to use their coupons, even if with a deal. They pay merchants back for their trouble, plus they get their product in people's homes. Isn't that how a product gets popular? Why do we call facial tissue “Kleenex”? Because so many people used it! To this day Kleenex is widely purchased, with or without coupons!

            • Lucy

I totally agree. Merchants wouln't put their coupons everywhere if they didn't want us to use them. I have tried so many products with coupons that I would NEVER otherwise have bought. I also think that even giving us the product for free is much cheaper marketing/advertising for them than putting ads on TV, so it's a win-win situation.

      • mellingue

That's ridiculous! I just came back from my Wag- bought 3 pens & 2 highlighters, a box of Kotex tampons & a box of liners and 3 oral b toothbrushes. I spent $5.76 OOP on the first transaction and got back $5.50 in RR. Then, I spent $0.48 on the second transaction (used $3.00 RR from 1st transaction) and got back $2.50 RR so I have $5 remaining. The cashier was pleasant & impressed w/ my purchase! lol I'm still new at this but getting better! This trip: OOP: $6.24 RR: $8.00 !! (I used 2 kotex Q's, 2 $2.00 off OralB's & a BOGO Q from a P&G (3/28 maybe?) & the wag's coupons for the pens/highlighters)

The other day I went to Publix, spent $51.76 and came out w/ a few bags of groceries & a $50 BP gas card… I'm lovin' coupons!!!

Thank you so much for this site! It is so helpful! My husband is excited b/c he's stocking up on razors- he hates spending money on them & I'm getting them for free!

    • Teresa Leonard

I'm new to couponing. I'm loving thanks to this sight. I went to walgreens bought the dove shampoo, conditioner I bought 3 sets. On saturday 4/3 my husband and I stoped by again they had coke products 5- 12 packs for 13.00 so I bought 10 12 packs for .96 yes thats right .96 by using my RR. I could not belive it nither could my husband he is now sold on coupons also.

      • jennifr1966

Are you referring to the Dove that was $4 RR each? I'm just trying to do the math and figure out how you did it. Did they let you use all the RRs at once? (We can only use one RR at a time.) If you bought 3 $4 RR deals, that's $12. The 12-packs were $13. Did you do 3 packs twice? Sorry, I get confused easily LOL

        • blyss

She probably meant she bought a dove conditioner 3 times for a total of $12 RR and dove shampoo 3 times for a total of $12 RR then bought 10 packs of cokes for $26 using all RR making it $2 dollars plus tax and maybe she had another RR for $2 as well…not sure though.

          • ItsACouponThing

Unless I'm reading wrong, I'm reading that people are using more than one RR at a time at the register. I thought we can only use one at a time, which is why the bigger RRs are better than the smaller ones? PLEASE let me know if I'm wrong! Oh, the other day they finally let me stack a manu q with an in-store q without having to have another product. YES!

            • blyss

Im not sure at other wags but at my wags you can use as many as you want but they count it as a coupon and you have to have as many items as coupons so…say you had a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon and you have one item THEN you want to use 2 register rewards (two different slips of paper) so thats a total of 4 coupons to one item so you need 3 fillers so you have 4 items and 4 coupons

      • Lucy

        Congrats! Good job!

I realize everyone's needs are different, but here's a scenario I came up with. (Do each separately for best cost. My numbers are before tax.)

      (1) U by Kotex ($3.49), use $1 off coupon from April's All You
Pay $2.49. Get back $2.50 RR

      (3)Oral-B CrossAction Toothbrushes ($9), use (3) -$2/1 RP 4/4
Use a filler item and the $2.50 RR
Assuming 59 cents for filler item, pay $1.09
      Get back $3 RR

      (1) U by Kotex ($3.49), use toothbrush RR ($3)
Pay $0.49. Get back $2.49 RR!

Total cost out of pocket, assuming 59 cent filler item and taxes: a little over $4 for (2) U by Kotex and (3) CrossAction toothbrushes, plus $2.49 RR for later use!
(If you have a better idea, please lmk. I'm still learning!)

      • elisa

Looks good! The only thing I would suggest is printing another Kotex q and using it for your last transaction along with a filler item around $0.50. That way you would spend a little less out of pocket and get an additional item.
I did the same thing, but got the potting soil ($0.99 w/ in-ad q), since I needed it anyway. =)

      • Lucy

That's awesome – $4 oop for 2 U by Kotex + 3 toothbrushes, plus you get $2.49 RR back – looks real good!

    • Irene

Could someone tell me where to find the monthly sales listed?

    • Brittaney_Rawdon

Why would some one need a filler item? Im trying to figure out Wags. The other day when I was trying to buy a
Air wick item at 50% off made it 3.98. I had a 4.00 off coupon. It wouldnt take it. I also had other things on that order. Is that why I would need a filler itme?

      • rebwife

        Brittaney,

I had the same issue with the airwick item last week. They told me it was that I could not get an item free. Funny, since I have been doing it at the same store for awhile now. Nothing an e-mail to the district office couln't fix. The next day, the manager of my store called me and assured me that this would not be an issue any longer. She said they had training that day on how to process coupons at her store and I was welcome to come back and get my airwick item free, which I did. She said she pointed out to her staff that the manufacturer will pay them full price plus the extra handling charge which means giving you the item free does not affect them at all. I hope this helps. I never complain to anyone but I felt this complaint was justified.

        • Lucy

Yea, I don't know what happened with AirWick coupons last week at Wags. About 3 weeks ago they had the same deal and I had to problems getting lots of airwick stuff for free. A couple of days ago I went in, bought 1 airwick i-motion, used 1 coupon, and when she scanned it, it said that I didn't buy the item to use that coupon (And I am totally sure that the coupon was correct, I've used the same coupon on the same item before)… Anyway the cashier manually entered it… It must be something new at Wags.

        • Lucy

I actually think that Wags wins when we get an item for free. For example, I had 7 coupons for airwick, and I got 7 items and paid with coupons. 7 x $4 = $28. They will get their $28 from the manufacturer within a matter of weeks, it doesn't matter to them whether I pay for that item or the manf does. But look at this – if I didn't have a coupon, I would have NEVER paid $28 for some overpriced airfreshner. So they actually win because they get rid of all their inventory at a decent price.

      • A filler item is needed at Wags IF you have more coupons/Rr than items. They want your numbers to equal out. If you bought 4 items, but had 4 coupons PLUS a RR you would need a filler item. If you have overage from a coupon, you will also need to make sure you have something else in your order to absorb the overage amount.

    • My Oral B RR didn't print. :( Oh well.

    • doesn't have to do with this ad…..but…..I'm trying to remember which store it is that I need to make sure to have them scan the MF coupon before the store….or vice versa? Is it wags? I'm making a little trip tomorrow and wanted to be prepared!

      • Amy_Q

Yes, Wags is the one where it is most important to scan mfr Qs FIRST and Wags store Qs LAST. =)

    • Jess

Just bought the Crest 3DWhite whitestrips….
      $37.99
      -$10 in-ad coupon
      -$10 MQ
      -$8 previous RR
      = $9.99!!!

The Aveeno sale turned out to be a good one for me. When you buy three Aveeno products (any size) you get a travel bag full of products worth 9.99 free. Inside the bag is a coupon for $2.00 off any Aveeno product. Check the expiration date on the coupon if you can. My first bag had an expiration dat of Dec. 09 (what a bummer) But the next one I got, had two $2.00 coupons with an expiration date of Dec. 2010. I guess that made up for it.

Does Walgreens honor Rite Aid store coupons? For instance, I have the Rite Aid Video rewards coupon for $5 off Foster Grant Reading Glasses. Will Walgreens except this as a competitor coupon?

      Thanks so much.

      • product tester

Don't think so. Worth asking though. I believe they are B1G1 at Rite Aid this week too.

    • daw

OT but does anyone know of any Wags in upstate South Carolina that start their weekly sale on Saturday nights? Basically, where one sale overlaps the other? Just wondering… thanks for all who respond.

    • Tracie

I'm in NE FL and I can't find the U by Kotex products to use the coupon and get the RR. Any advice? I am going to KY this weekend (leaving Friday a.m.). Anyone there seen these?

      • product tester

Sorry, I don't know anything about KY or NE FL. However, if you live near a Rite Aid then you can use one of your “q”s next week and get a single check rebate for the price of the item (before qs). It'll be a money maker… You can only do this once though. I'm planning to use one at Wags this week and one at Rite Aid next week. Too bad you cannot do it more than once at Rite Aid since you get real money back.

      • sangurkie

I just got back from my Walgreens (Summerville, SC) and the “U” products were on a table in the seasonal area. There were none in the feminine protection aisle. I would not have found them if my daughter was not looking for 1/2 price Easter candy. I realize you will be in GA not SC, but it may be a regional thing. HTH

      • armywife74

At my location, they only had them up on a special power panel in the back of the store. Check all the sides of endcaps. A lot of times new products don't make it on the Planogram till a reset some store have a special new product endcap or will push it in. But the few I have been to are on a special display.

    • ItsACouponThing

I just HAVE to share this with you!!!
My husband was out, so beforehand, I gave him a $3 P&G RR to use for another box of U by Kotex. (No, he isn't embarrassed. They know it isn't for him, LOL). The girl told him that he will not receive back any RRs because he's paying with a RR.
His response to me was, “She didn't know what she was talking about. It still printed.” ROFL!!!!
Of course, being we're hearing this all around the South, does this mean that Walgreens is working on going this way, and just hasn't notified the public yet?

    • Christina M. E.

I just got back from my Nasville (south) Walgreen's. I did pretty good, and also spoke to the Manager about their coupon policy. I was able to stack my coupons, which helped me save even more. I normally do not shop Walgreens, but am now considering putting it on my regular shopping list.

    • Barbara

Just wondering…anyone ever have problems with a register reward not printing when you purchased the required items? Is there anything I can do about it? I purchased the 3 Crest/Oral B products listed in the ad but didn't get the $3 RR.

      • april

I do know if you use the same RR for the same product for the next transaction it will not print. Make sure its the exact toothbrush. Cvs did the oral B tooth brushes awhile back and it was the cross action ones. of course they were all gone. but i got a raincheck…for price and ECBs…
