I”m just being ornery, but when I read this: It’s a very good ad with lots of god potential…

I just had to smile. :D

Thanks for all you do for us!

      • :) that's what I get for typing with a 2 year old climbing all over me!

    • Jennifer

I got $4 RR this week. At the bottom in fine print it says what it Cannot be used on….in that list is Dairy. Does that mean I can't use it to buy Milk? Anybody else have their RR's say this and tried to use it on millk?
Also, I see they have 7up for $1.00-Will Walgreens take internet coupons? I have 2 of the -$1 off 2liter 7up.

      • They will take the $1 off coupons if you have them!

        • Jennifer

GREAT! I do….I printed 2 of them last time they were available!

      • Michelle

I have been told I couldn't use RR for milk because they can't be used for dairy. I am in the Charlotte area.

        • mandi

I've used it on milk before, but it will probably depend on the cashier. you could add something really cheap with the milk and use it that way if they won't let you get just the milk.

      • Megan_A

They always say that, but I've never actually had a problem using it on milk. It also says that alcohol is excluded and I was turned down one time when I tried to use an RR on a bottle of wine. YMMV, but it will probably be fine.

      • chrissys

There is a way around this, at least it worked for me once. Try to buy something like a filler with the milk, and the RR should work.

    • Melissa H

Don't know if this is true for anyone else, but the new reset for Huggies for the Snug and Dry are $3.00 off a package of 60 count or higher when they print for me … The Little Snugglers/Little Movers are good on any size, but just a heads up for the Snug and Dry

    • smaks

Does anyone happen to have the website for the coupon checker? You put what you are looking for and it returns all available coupons for that item. It was in a post and now I can't find it. Sounded awesome.

      • sb
      • anhoover

i missed that post. if someone replays please let me know. I would love that also

      • Jeanne

the couponmom website has a searchable coupon database

        • smaks

That was it. Jeanne = Da Bomb Thank you! XOXOXO

      • Kellie

Hot Coupon World has a “coupon database” …. click on it, then enter product, and all coupons out there appear!!! Wonderful feature!!

      • smaks

Wow, had no idea there were that many. Thank you all for input.

    • Karen

Can you tell me what the “Buy this and get ____ points” on some of the products in the ad is all about?

      • Jeanne

I was about to ask the same question. :-)

      • JennyU

There are test stores in some parts of the country where they are trying out a rewards program. For every dollar you spend you get a certain number of points, and some you get bonus points. After you accumulate a certain number of points, you can trade it in for gift cards and other items.

        • Karen

Thanks! I will have to check and see if Montgomery, Alabama is participating.

        • brianna

Its only in Kansas Oregon and some other state I believe I work at a walgreens and they are having a card similar to cvs except like you said you can choose to spend it on photos your purchases gift cards and i cant remeber what else but its in our walgreens world magazine and they are testing it out in june (oh yea you wont have to clip coupons anymore either!!!)

    • peytonsmom

why do I need filler items? Use transaction #2 as an example.

      • Amy

I think it's because you have to have an item for each coupon or RR that you have. If you bought just the Multi-Solution, then you could only use either the $2 coupon or $2 RR.

        • peytonsmom

          makes sense. thanks!

      • Catherine

You can only use as many coupons as you have items, so if you have five items and seven coupons you will need two very inexpensive filler items.

    • jilljill

My Renuzit B2G1 coupon (from RP 0214) expired on 04.30.2010

    • Allison

My walgreens is very difficult to deal with. They will not let you use a coupon on the free item BOGO. They also claim that if you ring up more than one item that you get RR on it will only print RR for one of them. I mean multiples of the same item. Has anyone else experienced this?

      • camp

i also have a very rude walgreens staff, and i was also wondering the same thing about buying multiples of the same item, if only one RR prints.

      • Asmith

It will only print one rr if you buy more than one of the same item in one transaction.

        • Allison

I get confused because many times on this site when she gives a example of what to buy she will buy multiples in one transaction and then use all of the RR on another order. Am I reading that wrong? Thanks.

          • diane

You are right, but it does work. If you need $15.00 of something to get the RR, you might need to get 5 of the item. Then you get the RR and can use it on your next transaction for a different product and get the RR for that. That way your money out(OOP) will be low.

          • ASmith

When she is suggesting multiples to get RR back she is attempting to get to a price threshold to get the one individual RR for that deal. She has the 3 Dove hair care items to get to the $15 and above amount to get back the 5RR. But for example you could not buy 2 complete contact solutions in the same transactions and get back 2 8RR, you would only get one.

    • camp

anyone know if the rr start printing at midnight at walgreens that are open 24 hours?

      • Taylor

I don't think so. I was traveling late last weekend and stopped into a 24 hour Wags, and it didn't print the new RR. As I was leaving, I heard the RR machinore clicking, so I am pretty sure it was going through the new RR process.

    • Diana

Could someone explain the OFF repellent deal above (get kit & refill for $2.49 each) I have the walgreens booklet coupon for $2 off starter and I printed the b1g1 coupon but it says for starter also. What do I buy, what coupons do I use? (side note, my poor just turned 2 year old gets eat up with mosiqutos . Outside for 10 minutes and gets 10 bites…really need this. Thx

      • Jen

I had that coupon too. I bought two starters, used the bogo coupon and (if you can print it) one $2 man. coupon. You can also use the $2 wags coupon, which will take off $4 for buying two starters. So, you should actually end up owing $2.99. I'm not sure where the $2.49 is from…

        • Diana

          great..thx

    • Melissa

Has anyone shopped on Sat night and gotten the RR deals for the Sunday ad? I really need to use up a RR and wanted to try it out on something from Sunday b/c I don't want/need any more of the free body wash from this week! LOL

      • pharmSCgirl

I do believe that on Saturday nights you can get the sales from the next weeks ad, but RR for those products don't start printing til Sunday. Some Walgreens take RR if they have expired within so many days. You may want to ask. I know that I have used an expired one before and didn't say anything to the cashier and it went through with no problem, but I knew that the store took them a few days early from a previous time.

    • Adela

      Hi:
Does anyone know what is going on with the Oscar Mayer website? I tried to get the becon, lunch meats, etc… coupons, I filled out the company name and mood information request, and also clicked the, “Like” on Facebook, but no coupon showing up or printing. There is also no area on the website where I can email them. Is anyone else experiencing this error?

    • cloggersmama

Ok, I have now been to two Wags in my area(Conyers, GA) and have been told that they will only accept ONE coupon per item in a transaction. For example in one of the above scenarios it says buy 4, use 4 coupons. They are now saying that even though you buy 4 items they will only let you use ONE coupon. Is there a master Wags policy out there somewhere? This just doesn't seem fair. Many of the deals have to be bought in multiples and multiple coupons used to get the best deals.

      • pharmSCgirl

If they said one coupon per item then you can use 4 coupons for 4 items. Walgreens can be such a hassle at times, which is why I don't go very often. Sometimes it's just too good of a deal to resist.

        • I had a similar problem this week. I was trying to buy an item and stack a MFR coupon with a WAGS coupon. The store manager just kept repeating that the number of items had to match # of coupons (but I was “stacking”, so that didn't make sense). I called WAGS Corporate when I got home and they apologized. They told me there was no “official” policy, but I should have been able to use both coupons, and that someone would call me w/in 48 hrs. The Head store manager called me, and apologized and said that she would go over the policy with her employees to make sure they understood. I felt better afterwards, because that's really the best result–having the cashiers/employees properly trained and educated.

          • ItsACouponThing

It definitely helps to contact the online program, because they make sure the manager understands, if s/he didn't already. I went through a situation where the cashier didn't scan the in-ad coupon, so they only took the $1 off man. q. So the price was higher than the ad price! It was $3.29 without the in-ad; $1.99 with the in-ad. The manager tried to start with the price of $2.29 and just scan the $1.99 in-ad coupon to lower it. I would have gotten 30 cents back on each one, and not gotten any credit on my man. q's! In the end, he came back and did the whole transaction over. I ended up saving $2.30 each!!!

        • Lauren

My Walgreens was being a PAIN today too!! I tried to tell the guy that I can use one store coupon on something and one mfg coupon and he wouldnt let me. Why do the sales associates get so huffy about coupons!!

      • diane

I'd call or write their HQ. That is ridiculous. They get the coupon money back plus more. They are selling more products that way. That makes me mad. I really hope that you'll make some noise about this. I definitely will if it comes up for me.

    • Brooke99

Advil – 20 ct or larger – $1.00/1 coupons are come out this weekend do you guy think walgreen will have theese on sale soon ?

    • Catherine

Last week at Walgreens I paid for something with RR and it didn't print the RR for the item I was buying! I don't recall this ever happening before. They said it wasn't a new policy, and the catalina just didn't print it. :( Any suggestions?

      • If you bought the same item or from the same company (example P&G product) and used the RR then a new RR won”t print

        • Catherine

Thanks Michelle. I bought Claritin, and I don't recall what the RR was from, but I'll look out for that.

          • Melody

I had the same situation a couple weeks ago where my RR didn't print on the Hydro 3 Razor refills deal. They were on sale for 7.99 (I think) and I had a $2 coupon and I should have gotten a $5 RR, but it didn't print. The cashier explained that sometimes if you use a coupon, the RR won't print.. the Manager ended up giving me a form I had to fill out and mail in to get my RR- LAME!!! I only go to Walgreens if NECESSARY!!

        • Asmith

I have heard this but today I purchased in one transaction the complete contact lens solution and the headband. I used $2.00 off complete coupon and a 4.50 RR from last week Gillette.
I received back the 8RR for contact solution and 3RR for headband.

    • Judy Watts

I was just visiting our local Walgreens on St. Elmo Ave., Chattanooga, TN. They are doing a “FALSE ADVERTISING” if I have ever seen it. A display of “BUY ONE TWIN PACK AND GET ONE TWIN PACK FREE” on various vitamin supplements. The sign went all the way to the floor but obviously the bottom shelf with the best deals weren’t included in the FALSE ADVERTISING. I took a picture of the display with my cell phone and I’d like to post it or send it to anyone who wants to see. I am sick and tired of having to watch every move the cash register makes when I check out. I have often seen this kind of thing at Walgreens and I have reached my limit. They are preying on elderly people with this particular display and we are all oblivious to it if we don’t watch every move and check EVERY cash register receipt. If you would like to see a picture of the display, please email me at prissysmom1@yahoo.com. Thank you.

    • binkle

My B2G1 Odor Neutralizer coupon expired in April. Not sure if it was just my area that expired or if all of them did. Boo!!

    • AmyFMSC

The front page of my Walgreens ad says, “$10 mail-in rebate when you buy $15 of anything in store.” That sounds interesting and could make some good deals even better. That would make the Huggies diapers FREE – unless there is some weird fine print.

      • savysaver

That sounds like the Coors Light rebate! They may be promoting it.

      • AmyFMSC

So I got to Walgreens and they had a totally different front page on the ad in the store. It was a $20 rebate when you buy two things of Miller and/or Coors AND $20 of anything else. He said the wrong ad was sent in the paper. I guess it is still an okay deal if you are a beer drinker.

        • Angela in Norwood

At our store, you can buy Yellow Tail wine, too. Great deal in my opinion. The wine is only $6.99 each.

          • Sheree

My store in Asheville has the $10 rebate wyb $15 of anything except tobacco or prescriptions. Great deal!!

    • Kelly

I just got back from Walgreens after doing the $5 RR after buying $25 of Pampers twice and in the small print on the RRs it says they can't be used on P&G products. I have $10 RR total from the Pampers deal and wanted to get a package of Pampers with it. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this?

      • Kelly

I should say that I know I can't use the RR's for the same deal, but I just want to buy a single package of diapers.

        • diane

That's the way wags is – you can never use the rr's for anything from the same manufacturer that you bought it with. If you used each of your rr's to get the contact solution with a coupon, you'll get even more rrs back and then you can get diapers with those rrs.

    • Carla

I just got back from Wags and my $1 Dove IP beeped like crazy; said something about item not in database. My awesome manager pushed them through for me. He said the code on the coupon was coming up like a stock # and wanted him to put a dept number in like it was the item code and not the coupon code. I imagine lots of people will be disappointed about this because it will be a major frustration at most stores. I got lucky this morning and feel so pleased he pushed them through while pointing out the sign that says if an IP won't scan they won't take it.

    • Melissa H

Every time I go to Wags, they remind me why I don't go to Wags … I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but the Walgreens coupon pamphlets they produce each month, the q's that clearly say they are manf q's and in the same context say they can only be used at Wags — Grrrr … Such a freaking gamble every time you go in, you never know what you're going to get, at least not here in C FL … You get a different story with every store and/or cashier you encounter, and I swear it seems that the definition of those particular q's changes to sway with whatever is convenient/most beneficial for Wags … If it more behooves Wags that the q be considered a manf q at the moment, then at that moment its a manf q … but if in a different scenario 2 minutes later its more beneficial for those q's to be considered store q's, then 2 minutes later its considered a store q … I had 4 $1 Huggies q's for Little Swimmers and tried to use them with the sale and the $2 'Wags'/'Manf' q, knowing it would be a gamble, and of course this time was told the Wags booklet q's were manf q's … Again, every time I step foot in Wags they remind me why I don't go there … Sorry, I know I'm venting, not looking for resolutions, just another scenario to further convince me not to bother with them … Its actually easier to use those booklet coupons at just about any other store I go to .. Sorry, done now :0/

      • KashLea1

You just have to find one that works..I work near UCF & have no problems with the one on Alafaya Trail & Palm Valley. I've never experienced any problems there.

        • Lucy

Thanks. I'm 4 days a week in UCF this semester =O, I should try shopping there because the one closer to home sucks :)

      • Kristy

It is such a gamble. I have learned that it is all according to the cashier that you get & hoping that RR is on your side. I have had a couple bad experiences when my RR did not print out but I have 2 stores that I go to in which the cashiers have actually helped me out. Don't give up and good luck.

      • WAGS

The in-store booklets are just that—in store. They ARE manufacturer coupons that the manufacturer gives exclusive rights to Walgreens. That's why you probably get different answers from different people. Please people, use common sense, if you get a coupon book from Walgreens, it's NOT GONNA WORK AT OTHER RETAILERS!!!

        • Melissa H

Walgreens is the one cutting their own throat on that one by putting the words 'Manufacturer Coupon' on the q's … Those two words in and of themselves allow me to use the q any dang where I want to, and if Wags competitors will take them and not give me a hassle (like Wags does every single time I set foot in their store for anything whatsoever, when I am never doing anything I shouldn't be doing) then you bet your butt I'm gonna give my money to someone who doesn't treat me like a criminal or make me feel like I have to go 3 rounds in a boxing ring to accomplish transactions that are perfectly legitimate, legal, and should not be a problem but yet somehow ALWAYS are

          • Bethany

“….The words “manufacturer coupon” allow me to use them wherever…”

UH, NO. What do you not understand about the term, “EXCLUSIVE”? Walgreens gets the rights to the coupons, which means you can only use them there. If you look at the coupons, it says Walgreens on it.

Hmmm….I think I'll go to Wal-Mart and see if they will take the Target coupon from my Sunday 's paper that says “manufacturer coupon for use at Target only”. I'll just tell them you sent me.

            • TChilders

I think you are being a little rude. We all have our problems with Wags but that does not give you the right to belittle other people with your words.

            • Clarissa

I think the point of Melissa H's post was to say that many of Wag's competitor's make it easier to use Wag's Q's than Wag's does. And she was frustrated by the fact that Wag's makes it so difficult to use their own coupons. I understand that frustration and just don't bother going there anymore.

            • Melissa H

I noticed that your responses yesterday were signed 'WAGS Employee' … Thank you for proving my point about how rude and difficult WAGS can be

            • shelleyschu

I usually stick to CVS unless there's a really good reason to go to Wag's…

            • shelleyschu

I usually stick to CVS unless there's a really good reason to go to Wag's…

    • April

I wanted to pay for the Goody's $2.99 deal with a $3 RR, and I thought I had heard people talk about using RR worth more than their purchase, just losing the extra. When I tried, the cashier wouldn't let me…Is this something you can only do at CVS?

      • Ashley

Right, only at CVS. That's why you need ''fillers” at Walgreens. Read Jenny's Getting Started Guide.

    • Mala

This is the first time I have shopped at WAGS since I am a new couponer and just let me say WAGS rocks! I bought 4 Off clip-ons and two noxema razors. I used 2 B1G1 coupons on Off, WAGS coupon for $2 off Off, B1G1 on noxema razors, (2) $2 off noxema razors, and a $5 RR from a previous purchase. I paid $10.75 OOP! I saved $41.97! I think I am hooked!

      • Carla

I'm glad you had a good trip but I am confused how you could use so many coupons. Sounds like you had way more coupons (not counting the Off in the Wags booklet) than items and still used a RR. How were you able to do this?

        • Mala

Carla, I have no idea :) I bought 6 items and had 6 coupons not counting the WAGS coupons. It just all worked. I actually had another coupon (for the Dove shampoo) and I wonder if I needed a filler since it wouldn't work? I could have saved another dollar.

          • sdshaw

I had a problem with my Dove $1 q from there website. I used two of them and they just manually did it. I had a total of three but was only using two, I think there may have been a problem with their printing of that coupon.

    • Moorebuilder

Can you use a huggies coupon on goodnites? If not are there any coupons out for goodnites now?

    • Stacey

Both of the 'printable' coupon links for the off go to the same page which gives out the B1G1 coupon. Is there a different link for the $2 off the Starter?

      • Amy

I was wondering the same thing. Is there a separate link for the $2 off starter Off Clip-on? I guess it wouldn't really matter, though, if they won't stack since the WAGS booklet coupon says it's a manufacturer's coupon. They probably won't stack it, anyway. Just get two booklets, I guess. Although, will they let you use 2 BOGOs and 2 $2 man. q?

    • susan3sons

The Renuzit Odor B2G1 from 2/14 RP shows an expiration date of 4/30/10 – anyone know of a different one?

    • SS

Has anyone found the ironman printable? I can't find it on their website. Thanks!

      • pharmSCgirl

I found it last night. A link shows up after you sign up for a giveaway or something like that. However, there are no more coupons left. What a bummer!

    • Kristy

I am new to couponing but I am so excited this week!
      Transaction #1:
      Multi-purpose contact solution $7.99 – $2 coupon = $6.55 & $8 in RR..YAY..made
      Transaction # 2: 4 12pk of cokes = $13 pd with $8 in RR for total of $5 & got $3 in RR
Transaction #3: 2 caress body wash, 1 suave body wash, 1 vaseline int care lotion, used 2 coupons for caress bw .50 each , .50 off suave and $1 off vaseline = $13 pd with $3 RR, had $4 in RR from week before so paid $6 for purchase.

Hope these help you. Happy Savings!!!

      • Kristy

OK….I am still new to this….I was thinking that I needed to use a filler with transaction 1 but I didn't have to… Any ideas???

        • Ashley

Had you wanted to pay for the contact solution with an RR, you would've need a filler item. RR's are coupons also, and it's one coupon per item. One item(con. solut.) = 1 $2 mfr q

    • Erica

How do you get the $10 mail in rebate when you spend 15 dollars in the store. Is it after coupons? I spent 15 dollars before coupons and my cashier told me it was talking abou RR. Now I'm confused.

      • WAGS employee

There is a rebate form in-store. It should be in the summer promotional isle. It is sponsored by Miller brewing company.

        – WAGS employee

      • Bethany

P.S.-Yes, you have to actually spend the $15 to get the rebate. Companies don't pay you back money you didn't spend.

      • carolyn090

i have had only one company (bayer) not send rebates to me because of coupons or rr. example olay sent me a 15.98 check for lotion .that only cost me about 7.00 oop. with that said, i have not done this rebate yet.

    • Lori

Any idea what zip the coupon for the Noxema disposable razors is under? I am not seeing it. Thanks. :)

      • Kelly

I can't find it either???? Great Deal if we can get the coupons

      • Kay

I would like to know to! I don't see it either

    • Amy

My WAGS was a pain yesterday. First they informed me that the Little Swimmers coupon in the book is actually a man.q. Okay. But when she scanned my printed $1.50 off LS q it went through, but it counted against one of my diapers. Grr. Plus, I accidentally handed her one of the Little Movers q's when I was buying Snug N Dry, but it worked! It was so frustrating. That was the most horrible experience I've had at WAGS. There's more to the story, but I won't waste space here. I was mostly frustrated with not being able to stack for the swimmers, and then coupons working when they actually shouldn't have. Ugh.

      • Lucy

It feels to me that they are just trying to get rid of ALL of their customers. I bought 4 packs of cookies today, used 3 coupons and 1 RR. RR would not scan. When asked why it doesn't scan, the cashier replied “I dunno” and handed it back to me. I was so mad, it was a valid RR, the coupons were not over the limit, and she just wanted me to “forget” about my $4.50 RR. The manager came in 5 minutes and fixed it but still, very frustrating!

        • Ashley

I was looking for a place to vent about Walgreens and this looks like a good place
I went yesterday and tried to you a man.q. that I had gotten in the mail from Krogers. They refused to take it because of the little Kroger logo. Even though I pointed out that it is a man .q. and on the back it said that it would be reimbursed by Kimberly-Clark. I went online today and filled out a complaint form.
Then today the manager of the store called me back to say that they are not allowed to take Kroger Man.Q.
They do not understand that it is not a Kroger coupon. Every time I go to Walgreens I swear that I am never going back!

          • Connie

Ashley, I have had the same thing happen to me with a man q from Krogers. The store would not take it, so I just cut the bottom off where the Kroger logo was and took it back in and it scanned just fine.

          • leslie

The reason why they wont take KRoger coupons because the manufactor pays kroger reimbursement. Walgreens wont get paid back for another coupon where kroger and kimberley Clark are contracted with an agreement. Hope that helps.

            • Ashley

I have never heard this before. I have normally just cut the Kroger part off.If Walgreens submits the coupon why would Kroger get reimbursed?
Would this not be the same as using the Target manufactor coupons somewhere else?

    • Sharon

WAG wouldn't let me use the $2 off coupon for the contact solution because the manager said the RRs are manufacturer coupons so I could either use the coupon OR get the RR. Anyone else have this problem?

      • Alicia

Yes! The manager at my Walgreens is pretty rude about using coupons PERIOD. I am looking for a new location myself.

        • sdshaw

My Wags tried to use the coupon, but said there was a problem with the barcode there wasn't enough numbers. They were very curious as to where I got it because it looked fake. I brought the whole page in with me and cut it out there after showing it to them so that they would see the companies website. I still bough the solution since it is essentially free, but…they did take my $5 off the extend a clean which i was worried about.

    • aeebowers

Jenny, I read on Sue Stock (News and Observer reporter in Raleigh, NC)'s blog that Walgreens is planning to discontinue Register Rewards in favor of a points-based rewards system. Apparently, it is starting in test markets at the end of the month. There is a petition out (link posted on Stock's blog) to continue RR. Can you tell your readers more or give us info on signing the petition if we wish? Thanks for all your couponing and saving help.

    • Amy

Jenny, you list the Little Swimmers as $6.99. I just got my paper today (though I did make some purchases yesterday that I didn't need coupon inserts for) and saw the ad lists them as $4.99 after $2 INSTANT VALUE COUPON. How does this work? Do they count that toward coupon totals? I just looked at my receipt and it rang up $6.99 and I see a $2 MFR, but I don't know if that was the one from the booklet or the INSTANT VALUE COUPON. Can you shed some light here? Should I go ask for my extra 2 bucks? I'm curious because the OFF clip is the same way.

      • Jen

Amy-the instant value coupon is from the coupon booklet which are manufacturer Qs.

    • Guest

The Reynolds aluminum foil is .89 with the in-ad coupon…I have a $1 off coupon that appears workable with this. If I get a filler item to bump it up to $1, will this coupon work?

      • ADJ

I was wondering that too, but if you have the same $1 off coupon as me, you will notice that the sizes don't match up. The Walgreen's Reynolds is 20 yds and the Manuf. Q is for 70+ or something like that.

      • carolyn090

be sure to read the size on your coupon . mine say basicly 35 sqr.ft and up .i usually take them to harris teeters on super doubles. but still not a great deal even then

    • Dina

The Complete Multi-purpose saline solution for contacts is for 5 mL greater than the bottle that is offerint the Register Rewards, so my Walgreens wouldn't take it.

      • CJ

Dina, are you sure you used the correct coupon? My q says “Any 12oz or larger size of COMPLETE Multi-Purpose Solution” which is what is advertised in the ad.

    • Amy

Okay, I realized my mistake. The coupons in the booklet say “Instant Value Coupon”, so please disregard my confused comment below. However, now I have another question when it comes to buying the Off. How do I now use the $2 booklet coupon and the printable BOGO Off Clip-on Starter together? Or does that just make using the $2 coupon pointless since that would essentially make the FREE one (from the BOGO) cheaper, but I'm getting it free anyway? Seems like the best deal here is to use the BOGO to get 2 starters for $8.99. Is that correct?

      • pharmSCgirl

I'm not sure about the deal with the Off Clip-On but I do know that when it says “instant value coupon” they are usually referring to the coupon in the May Coupon Book. I have seen several of these deals say “instant coupon” only to find out that you have to use the coupon from the book. I hope this helps somewhat. Wags can be very confusing.

      • Mala

I bought 4 Off clip ons and used my B1G1 coupons (2). That made them $17.98 for 2. Then I was allowed to use the $2 off coupons from the book 4 times (since I bought 4). That made me pay 9.98 for 4 of them. Since I picked up a couple other things I also used RR coupons too. HTH

    • Megan

I am an avid CVSer but haven't tried WAGs. I would love to get some things from this weeks WAGs sale, but I'm not sure where to get the May Coupon Book. Is it in the store and is it a free book? Thanks for the help

      • pharmSCgirl

These are usually located in the store on the sales ad rack. They are completely free.

    • Megan

I don't understand how the $2 off coupons makes the 2.99 B1G1 Noxema razors free. Any insite is appreciated. Thanks.

      • pharmSCgirl

You can use 2 of the $2 off coupons to get a total of $4 off the razors making them free plus $1 overage. We didn't get those coupons in Spartanburg, SC but I sure wish we had.

Regarding the Scrubbing Bubbles Extend-A-Clean RR deal:
Has anyone had luck using the free refill q when you buy the starter spray???
The q says “up to $3.99,” but these are $4.99 at my local Wags.
I didn't even try it b/c yesterday I tried to use a q that printed after an RR last week for a FREE pack of always pads. This q said “up to $3.50,” but the cheapest pack of pads I could find were $3.79. I thought b/c it said “up to $3.50,” maybe I would just have to pay the .29 CENT difference but they wouldn't let me use it. No biggie, I'll just wait until it goes on sale and the particular manager and cashier that were working yesterday are super-nice and always (coupon)friendly and helpful, so I wasn't going to make a big deal about it.
Just wondering if anyone was able to use the refill q…

      • sdshaw

i have used the always cataline in my wags. They just adjusted the coupon to $3.50 and made me pay the difference. Thats what all my stores normally do when the coupon has a max. I don't understand why they wouldn't take it.

        • 3monkeysmom

Me either…I figured that was how it should work, I would just pay the difference. He did try to scan it to *see* if the register would take it but I thought they had to manually key in all FREE coupons b/c they have to put the amount in so I figured nothing would happend when he tried.
But, like I said, they're always really coupon-friendly so I try not be pushy :-)
The q doesn't expire until July, so maybe they'll have a sale before then.

I can't find the Noxema razors in my RP coupons that came Sunday and I can't find the printable one. Any ideas what I should do?

FYI: Just went to Walgreens in Statesboro, GA. They no longer do back to back transactions. You must actually leave the store and go back in to do another transaction. I had three transactions and a nine month old. Had to get him out of the buggy each time to carry out my bag and then come back in to finish. Very annoying. Luckily the cashier that I had was very kind and allowed me to leave my buggy near the register with all of my items in it while I went to the vehicle each time! Not sure why Walgreens is changing their rules so much but it seems they would cater to people trying to save money if it gets them to come into their store! Besides, if it weren't for me learning to clip coupons and save money…I wouldn't be going in there AT ALL! Too expensive otherwise!

      • Jessica

That is ridiculous! I had two trans. I did back-to-back today, they had no problem (though I did feel bad for the person behind me–until the cashier gave them what they wanted and let them check out at the photo counter-they were just getting some cigarettes…) Anyway, I had my 11 m.o. with me, and I probably would've been a little ticked if they had made me do what they did to you! It's one thing if they were to only allow one trans. per day, but making you walk to your car…2 minutes difference between transactions??? With a baby in tow?? Come on, Walgreen's, give the lady a break! ; )

Can anyone shed some light on the $10 rebate wyb $15 that is on the front of the paper? I went in and picked up a fom, and see no wording on the form to indicate that the purchase MUST be made @ WAGS or what the purchase MUST include other than it saying “$15 total basket items” – so does “basket items” mean snack foods/sodas/food items in general?? Anyone have any opinons on this or sent in for it yet? I am thinking that if it is good w/ a reciept from any store, my Harris Teeter reciept will work since I spent more than $15 there and not at WAGS.

    • wendy

i can NOT get the black forrest coupon to print on the gummies. supposed to be 55 cents off. i have played that stupid game twice and have YET to be able to print that coupon!

      • Donna

It didn't print a coupon for me either.

    • Leslie

If I buy the $15 of dove and vaseline products and use my coupons on those product does my purchase have to be $15 after the coupons are taken off in order for the $5 RR to print?

      • JstMeNC

That was the way it was for me, I had to spend $15 OOP.

    • ADJ

Sooo, let me get this straight…if I use a coupon on an item, I CAN'T use a RR with it to pay for it??? At least that's the gist I'm getting from readin everyone's comments. I am a new couponer and a little nervous about going into Walgreen now, because I'm not sure if my scenarios's will all play out.

      • smaks

        ADJ, start small. :)

        • ADJ

What I want to do in one transaction is take $2.99 RR from previous transaction and use it with a $2 off coupon to buy the Complete Contact Lens Care. This would be the only item in my transaction. Will they let me do that, or will I have to add something like a piece of gum to it to make it 2 items? Thanks so much for any help!

          • teachingthem

You'll need a 2nd item. 2 qs means at least 2 items for it to work at Walgreens. And the rr counts as a q. Unfortunately!

      • Linda

If you have a RR you can use it on almost anything. If you use it on the same company brand then it won't print out another RR, Like if you buy Crest which is a P&G product and your expecting a RR then if you use a P&G RR it will not give you another RR.But you can use it on anything else, and still get your RR. Just remember you have to have as many products as you have q's. A RR is considered a q.So if your buying complete with a q and a RR then you will need another product. It's easy to make a mistake at Walgreens(and I have made them all) but you learn from them. It's really fun once you get it. Good luck.

        • ADJ

Thanks, I think I get it now!

      • smaks

ADJ, you ever make it to Knoxville, we should coupon together. ;)

    • wendy

it is my opinion that CVS is the initiator of this smart couponing program and that walgreens is…maybe….following suit. therefore, i have found that CVS is better about having their products in stock and re-stocking, they issue rain checks where walgreens does not, they are very friendly and helpful and with walgreens, you have to find the right employee to get friendly and helpful.

if you have a RR from a previous visit and it's on razors then you can not use that RR to purchase more razors…..it will not print the RR due to you. walgreens rules are a bit different.

leslie – when they say that you have to spend $15 to get $5 RR then that means the price of the items NOT including taxes and coupons. (isn't that GREAT?!)

    • Mamastasia

Today my Walgreens, in Osceola County, Fl, refused my internet coupons for Huggies diapers & Colgate toothbrushes! Apparently this week the corporate office issued a memorandum to all associates explaining that the company is not being properly compensated for internet coupons & will no longer accept them!!! If this is for real, I won't be shopping there anymore!

    • Cindyrella2

Can anyone tell me where on the Iron Man website to find the coupon? I've looked all over, but can't see it!

      • Donna

        I can't find it either.

        • teachingthem

You have to click on the Rohto bike sweepstakes in lower rt corner. Once you enter the sweepstakes, a link for the cpn appears on the upper rt of the page. I had to google it to figure it out!

    • BarbJDean

$2.00 Zyrtec coupon will not print, but $4.00 liquid gels does…hummm.

    • michelle

I'm a little new to this coupon thing. I am not understanding the quantity of coupons you are able to use. I see she list about 3 different coupon options on certain items. Can you use more than one coupon per item???

      • ADJ

I am new too, but I think she is just posting all the different coupons you could choose from if you had them. I'm pretty sure you can't use more than one manufacturer coupon on any one item at a time.

      • Kristie

Yes, you can use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item.

    • Stacia

I can't find Noxema razor coupon on the link to the Red Plum site. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hunt’s Tomato Sauce “Rediscover your Balance” booklet (makes them 5¢ ea)

Does anyone know where you get the “Rediscover your Balance” booklet?

      • mandy

Jenny posted a link to register for the booklet a while back. I think almost all of the coupons are about to expire, so hopefully we will rcv a chance to sign up for a new booklet soon.

    • Kristie

Super deal on Reynolds Wrap if you pair the in-ad coupon (making it $.89) with a mfr. coupon this week.
-$1 off Reynold’s Wrap Aluminum Foil printable
-$1.25 off Reynolds 100% Recycled Aluminum Foil printable
-.75/1 Reynolds Wrap Foil, SS 4/18, SS 5/16

      • Coupon Girl

This makes it either free or $.19 per roll.

        • Stephanie in Bham

did you use these coupons? mine all said not valid on 20, 25 or 30 sq ft rolls and the sale was for the 20 sq ft. I bought 3 already, but if I can use the mfg coupons anyway, I will go get more! Thanks

      • Kris

I don't understand, do I use the Walgreens In-ad coupon, the 2 printables & the SS coupon?

    • gingiraffe

FYI Something that I have noticed since couponing for diapers is to compare the amount of diapers in each pack. I got a pack of the Little Swimmers at Walgreens for $3.49 (after qs), but then went to Target and got a pack double the size for the same price after qs, so a much better deal. The drug store packs tend to be smaller than the larger store packs, so pay attention to how many diapers you are getting when you get them for a “deal”.

I went ot Walgreens today and the lady at the register accused me of copying my internet coupons! She said “I can't take these they've been copied”. I asked her in a nice tone to get a manager for me and the manager came up and asked her what was the problem. The manager looked at the q's and said they are fine. I told the cashier before I left that for the record, I don't copy coupons and that it's dishonest to do so. I told her that I actually come there to get my ink cartridges refilled! I was so offended and I'm not easily offended. She had an attitude when she accused me of it and another customer was behind me.

Walgreens has some of the rudest people working in their stores. This store is only about 1/4 mile from my house. This is the only reason I go there. I have come in contact with at least 4 or more rude workers there. I think I'm going to complain. What do you think?

      • mcleodsc

For about a year my Walgreens had an idiot for an assistant manager. He did not know what he was doing. After I complained and some other customers complained he was moved. Now after about 6 months of great shopping, WAGS has moved him back to my store. Now none of the sales items are marked. The items do not always ring up at the correct sales price, so I have to watch the register. He makes more work for the store because he has to be called if the customer complains that something did not ring up right. The cashiers get frustrated but it is this idiot that is causing the problem not the customer. His favorite stupid excuse was, the RR did not print because you used a manuf. coupon with your order. He was also well known for wasting the customers time. If there were any problem that the cashier had to call him to the register for, you could count on at least a 10 minute wait before he could drag himself out of the office to do his job. He actually wrote me a RR on a raincheck and signed his name. I took it to the WAGS across town and used it there. The manager there had to approve it and was shocked that it was written on a raincheck.
For the great sale next week, I am going to drive across town to the 24 hour store and shop there so I won't have any drama from the idiot manager.

      • wendy

come on pam, what's the hold up? go online and make it a point to state your claim! i would have done it the first time….or first incident of bs treatment…these cashiers dont get paid for the attitude but for customer service…at least they should be thankful they have a job

Nothing surprises me when it comes to some of the Walgreens anymore. My mom & me buy for extended family so we will go to numerous stores as they run out @our favorite one.It is a joke now on how many good ones compared to bad we will go to that day.(really it isn't funny as it takes alot of our time & very frustrating)but we get so upset especially when you USE THE CORRECT Qs & FILLERS& IN AD Qs ONLY to have them treat you bad or after all your time invested to not take your Qs. I have left without items & yet another walgreens was able to do the same transaction with NO problems. I have left in tears being so mad. These stores put these items on sale & have in store or ad Qs& we get manuf.Qs to use with. Then they want to hassle or refuse to take them.We save alot $ but pay w/ALOT of time & undeserved bad treatment.I do not like to complain due to there are some GREAT WAGS employees but getting more so bad ones than good. The Wags Manager had the same thing happen to her (as did you)@ a local grocery, she was so mad.She is one of the best @ cust. service, RR&Qs.She said she knows now how I feel when I've told her the problems at other WAGS.I have decided I am going to start contacting corp. when I have these issues.

    • Jessica

I racked up at Walgreens! First transaction: Bought the Complete MP Contact solution, used $2/1 RP coupon, got $8 RR. Second transaction: Bought BOGO Blue Diamond Almonds ($1/2 SS coup.), 2 cans Comet ($1/2 Walgreen's in-ad coup), 2 pks. BOGO Noxzema bikini razors ($2 RP coup), and a L'oreal Bare Minerals compact on clearance for $7.49 (used $3 off Walgreen's May coup. + $1/1 coup.-source unk). Total for 2nd transaction after RR and coupons: $0.99! So total for all items $7.54!! That was my first trip to Walgreen's since starting to “coupon”, and I must say, I am hooked already!
