I can't find the energizer coupon? Is it under a certain zip code? Thanks!

    • artmommy222

Did anyone find the Reach coupon under a certain zip code?

      • Mom2teenagers

        I didn't find the $2/2 q but I did find a $1/1 printable q for any Reach toothbrush or floss at reachbrand(dot)com.

        • artmommy222

Thank you! That's just as good. Very helpful.

    • Nancy

What is the recommended way to present coupons and register rewards at WAGS? I have $4 that is going to expire tomorrow and was going to use it to reduce my OOP on the razor scenario. Thanks!!

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

Offer your coupons first and then your RR, then pay any remaining. Make sure your number of items purchased equals your coupons/RR.

    • Reymannkids

My Walgreens has a different Pepsi deal…

      4/$13 with a $5 RR, makes it 4/$8. $2 each. Good deal.

      • Livlivie

        Thats what mine has too

        • gayla_p

I think there may 2 different ads this week. Another blogger posted about 4 day deals and they were not in my ad in the upstate SC area. Therefore I was able to get the Pepsi RR today making them $2 each.

    • Jhooks4

My miracle whip/mayo coupon is only good for 12 or 22 oz bottles, not 32 oz.

      • macboy

Yeah, I was ready to get the BOGO Free offer from Publix with that coupon, and then I read the coupon, looked at the bottle, and realized they weren't a match….:-(

    • Hubbardca

Last week at Walgreens, they didn't have their rr items tagged, the manager walked me around the store helping me find the right products, he wrote a rain check for an item and then one product I chose didn”t match and on another item, I forgot to use the in-store coupon.
Most of all, I bought the requisite 25 dollars in gillete products and got only half the rr. The manager pressed a button and the printer spit out the other 5 dollars. I will keep trying, but I hope it's not like this generally.

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

and they try to tell you that they can't FORCE the register to give you any RR if it messes up…. hmmm… obviously they can.

        • Hubbardca

He said it (the rr) was ‘in there’ and that I hadn’t done anything wrong. ??

    • PTN96

I was at Walgreens today and purchased the Saline Solution and got the $7.50 RR then I was going to get one of the body washes that was 4.49 and some other items. The manager told me I couldn't use the $7.50 RR on the 2nd transaction because that RR was more than the one that was going to print. If I did it, he said the 2nd one wouldn't print. I thought you could roll the rewards? I am now confused.

      • Tiffany

Not true. I use larger RR and get smaller ones all the time.

      • Melissa

I have heard a similar response this week. Their logic is confusing and sometimes inaccurate. The person ahead of me in line purchased the June Neutrogena deal and received RR. I purchased the same items and I did not receive RR. When I asked for a refund, the manager had no clue how to handle it. He finally voided the transaction and I redid my transaction. Not fun!!!!

    • Meghan

What is this Walgreen coupon booklet and how can I get one? Anyone know?

      • macboy

They should be at the front of the store next to the circular. I went to a Walgreens one time before I new about the coupon booklet, and the cashier was like, ” I know we have a coupon for that” and looked through the booklet himself until he found it. I don't think all cashiers will be like that though…

    • BdaJda06

Does anyone know a zip code to use for the $2/2 reach toothbrush…I can't seem to find it!!! Thanks

      • AmyFMSC

I think the print limit has been reached. I printed it a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to find it since.

    • Elise

I'm quickly becoming discouraged! Over the past week, I have accumulated enough RR coupons to cover the cost of an item I wanted – around $24. Can anyone explain if I can use RR coupons for this one item and how. The only explanation I got today was that they were manufacturer's coupons and only 1 coupon could be used per item. Is there where the filler items come in? I have 4 ($7.50, and 3 $5) RR's and a $3 manf Q for the item I want to buy. Do I need 4 filler items to make this work? I had just come from CVS where I handed over $12 in ECBs for one $14 item and was wishing Walgreen's was that simple. I think I need a lot of help – and confidence!

      • Meredith

Yes, you need 4 filler items. Wags will only take the number of coupons that you have items. Be sure to check clearance items for possible fillers. Last week, I found a package of about 15 mechanical pencils on clearance for 57 cents. I figure my kids will need them for school in a month or so.

      • Evelyn

Yes, you need four small fillers. Count your items you purchased and count your pieces of paper. They should be the same. It does get more complicated if you have a coupon that is $.50/2. Just start it this way for now. If it beeps add a filler. When I go to the register I take the cheap fillers with me. BTW Walgreens coupons DO NOT count as pieces of paper.

        • Elise

Thanks to both of you. I thought about that when I got to the car, but when you're new, so much swirls through your head. It helps when the cashier offers a little help too – she could have mentioned it because she seemed knowledgable, but she seemed to take pleasure in refusing it. I said, “You mean I can only use 1 RR per transaction?”, and she said “Yes.” Very confusing. Luckily, there are other Walgreen's in town that I can try.

      • Kkbrobst

get a few post cards or $.10 candy items. Just be sure you have 4 items if you have 4 RR to use.

    • Sue23

Do you have to buy 2 items on the BOGO deal or will they let you buy just one for 1/2 off? Thanks:)

      • Taylor

        Both. =)

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

        2 for a BOGO.

        • Sue23

          Thanks

    • Melissa

Not happy with Walgreens. Their RR policy is inconsistent. I had a $2 RR that would not work for my purchase. They explained that it could not be used that day because it was accumulated that day. However I had a $7.50 RR (obtained that day) that scanned perfectly. Their logic if very frustating. It makes me not want to participate in their program.

      • guest

I Agree!!! CVS and Rite Aid is so much easier.

        • guest

are so much easier. Sorry, my typo disgusted me. :)

        • Jamie

CVS, yes. But I don't like having to wait to get my money back, so I haven't tried Rite-Aid, yet. Is it really worth your while, Val?

          • Val

Definitely! Rite Aid has Up Rewards now which is similar to ECBs. That along with their video values, and the SCRs I made money today! For the rebates all you have to do is enter your receipt when you get home and then request the check at the end of the month. I like using this money for something else besides Drug store items :)

      • Ginaod2000

Hi Melissa! I have been so confussed a couple times by couponing but have learned a great deal from my mistakes. The reason they took one RR from that day & not the other is that you probably had more coupons for your transaction than items. This exact thing happened to me. My cashier lady is so sweet though she explained everything to me & than let me run & grab another item so that it would take the reward. It took the first RR but not the second one. After I grabbed a cheap filler item it worked. Hope this helps you! Take care!

    • Betty

Quick question, I work for walgreens, and we had a lady with several “printable” coupons for $10 off duracell batteries. When the cashier called me over to look at it, I had to politely refuse it, since it was VERY high value, and I suspected it had been scanned and copied. She swears she got it from a link on this website. I have searched here and been unable to locate it . If it is a good coupon, then I will need to apologise to her, and of course, validate the sale. I also looked for it on the CIC, but didn't find it there either. Do you, or any of you know of this coupon? She also had a few printables for free 12 packs of Pepsi. Now I know this one can't be good. We don't get paid on fraudulent coupons, we are just out the money. but I don't want to insult a good customer either….sigh…rock and hard place here…

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

The free Pepsi ones are definitely fraudulent!! Never seen or hear do the batteryone tho, but it sounds highly suspicous!!!

      • Val

I have never seen either of those coupons on this website EVER.

She's either lying or “confused” as to where she got them. Southern Savers is legit and Jenny, the creator, does her homework.

      • sonyapell

I haven't seen the battery coupon, but I did have a friend e-mail me a pdf of the free pepsi 12 pack coupons, along with another pdf for free bags of Doritos up to $5. I'd say they're all fraudulent, and told my friend that sent them to me. I wouldn't have taken them either.

      • Anonymous

I did a search for the Duracell coupon Betty and I found this article http://wcfcourier.com/news/local/article_9f710430-3e46-11df-9375-001cc4c002e0.html

I don’t envy you having to lay down the law to a couponer who either thinks they are in the right out of ignorance (ummm, or selective stupidity) or is downright lying to your face. It really makes it hard on us legitimate deal seeking coupon people because it makes cashiers wary of us. The worst though is that the store doesn’t get reimbursed and that kind of thing hurts us all. I’m sorry you have to deal with such things. May be you can ask the manager to make a copy of such kind of coupons and post it so it doesn’t have to come directly from you. Good luck and thanks for being so thorough and courteous in your job! :D

      • Sue23

We seen those at HT also. They are fraudulent and the Doritos/Pepsi company was offering a reward for those making them and passing them around. Hope this helps.

      • Sue

I would like to commend you for your concern for your customer’s feelings. I have seen a lot of negative comments about Walgreen’s, but personally, I have always been treated well and have always left satisfied, including today. Those coupons are listed on the CIC’s webpage at this link.
        http://www.cents-off . com/body_coupon_counterfeiters.cfm.
Copy and paste it ito your browser and take out the spaces that I put before and after the dot.
Also,if this site had coupons like that, then I would definitely have printed them. There are several sites that have databases for legit coupons. Two of them are hotcouponworld & afullcup. Just add .com to the end. HTH

      • jhoran

Most legit. coupons have a watermark in the middle. Hold it up and you can see it. Also, look for the veri-ft logo on the right hand side and the scissors on the top right. Hard to tell on the pdf coupons, because there’s no markings on them, so those you would have to figure out, and if its high dollar its most likely fraudelent.

    • Sshoulders

Where is the “in-ad” coupon for the Listerine 3.2 ounce located?

      • gayla_p

Page 10 in my ad for 29626 in upper left hand corner of page. It looks like the trial size and the printable Q is for 500ml or larger.

    • Jennifer

More coupons for sale items: B1G1 Dentyne Ice (Kroger mailer), $0.55 off wyb 2 packages of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (any variety, Kroger mailer), $1 off wyb 1 Crackerfuls (SS 6/06). Happy shopping!

    • gayla_p

My ad has buy 3/$10 U-Kotex products and receive a free e-movie cash movie ticket. Apparently, the instructions how to go online and print this ticket will print out at the register.
I was able to print $1 Q from their website as well.

I would recommend checking to see if your local theaters will use e-movie cash tickets by going to their website.

Need zip for ENERGIZER batteries coupon! Help!

      • Crystal

Try 30024…I was able to get the energizer coupons to print

    • Bettu

the 4/13 w 5 rr is supposed to be in the 4 day sale which starts on Wednesday.

    • TraceyGA

I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else but I went into Walgreen's about an hour ago for the “free” socks and Blistex. Only a $3 RR for the Blistex came out. The manager read the ad and said that according to the fine print on the very bottom of those 3 free items, only 1 RR will print. So, apparently, if you want 3 RR, you have to buy those items in separate transactions. Because I had just finished haggling with them about my rain check that they rang up incorrectly, I just returned the socks and walked out in disgust and frustration. Why must they make everything so difficult?

      • http://DEALiciousfinds.com/ DEALicious Finds

I’ll go out on a limb and say your manager was wrong. (A manager that knows nothing about coupons at a Walgreens?! No way…) ;)

        Anyways,
you did everything right- there is a glitch in the catalina machine right now and the Airplus socks are NOT printing out RR. The catalina company said it will be fixed mid-Monday morning.

If you have already purchased your socks, email the catalina company with your mailing address, and every possible thing on your receipt (like register number, date, time, store, etc.) and of course, the item you didn’t receive your RR for. They will mail it to you usually within 3 weeks. Hope that helps- there’s going to be a lot of disappointed people today.

        email: NCSC@catalinamarketing.com

      • Arat1986

I bought them in separate transactions (Blistex and then the socks) – the RR printed out for the Blistex but not for the socks (I used the RR from the Blistex). The manager looked at the ad and got the computer to print the RR for the Blistex again. I guess you would need to buy them separately and not use the RRs to pay for those items! Thankfully I got a nice manager!

        • ChristyMy

I went to 2 different Walgreens today and the RR's aren't printing on the socks at all. The first time I thought it was because I had other items that printed out a RR but at the second store, all I bought were the socks. The cashier there told me that the RR's didn't print on the socks for any of his previous customers either.

      • Ginger

I worked in reatail for years, and you can't always believe the managers. Sometimes, they just take their best guess as to why something happens/doesn't happen. (In other words, they make something up.) :) The small print says 1 coupon printed per OFFER. Each of those items is a different offer.

      • jhoran

Whatever will they think of next!!!! As usual a bunch of baloney. The socks are not printing the RR's for most of the walgreens. They promised to take care of the problem.

      • lynn

hahaa really? that was said? did you read the fine print for urself??

    • Lanny

I just came back from Walgreens. When I bough the Blistop and the Blistex, I DID get 2 RR. But when I took the $3 RR from the Blistex to purchase the socks, no RR printed out. I had to ask for the manager and we concluded that the Blistex and the socks came from the same company? This week is rather confusing.

      • lynn

not true..u've prob seen by now there was a prob with the reg rewards for the socks not printing. it's a company wide problem they are working on. go back and get ur three bucks!! :)

    • Lanny

Alert: Turns out that the RR for the socks is not printing at all, even if you buy it individually. There apparently is a problem with the system. So I would advise to not buy the socks until this is fixed.

      • gayla_p

Good to know. My Wags didn't even have them in stock.

      • Davis_megan

i just bought socks at two notch rd walgreens and received my rr, no problem.

    • Bullhead0033

can anyone find the 2/2 reach toothbrushes?

      • gayla_p

The prints may have run out. I had printed mine a few weeks ago.

      • AmyFMSC

I think the print limit has been reached. I printed it a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to find it since.

Hi I got the Smart Source from three different newspapers, Charlotte Sun, Herald Tribune, and The News Press, and there is no coupons on the 6/27 SS for Playtex tampons, or the Edge and Skintimate shaving creams. If you could please tell me what newspaper you got your SS from that would be great. Are all of the Smart Source inserts the same?

      • Deb

Raleigh N & O had them. Usually Charlotte gets the good Q's! ;)

        • Beth

          Charlotte Observer had them

    • Krista

The crackerfuls are not part of the sale so the scenario listed above will not work. You may want to adjust so others dont make the same mistake i did by having a plan and then finding out when i get to the store it isn't going to work. Also, the cakesters are included, but not the fudge cremes, so why is this coupon listed? I know I'm about to get pounced on by the other readers, but here goes my constructive critisism. Do you just post every coupon under a specific manufacturer and just hope they are included in the sale? How do you verify what is actually included? When I looked at the Walgreens flyer the crackerfuls were not in the picture at all, so Im not sure why you thought they would be included. I am finding more and more often the wrong coupons are posted for certain items, internet coupon links arent available or not in our inserts (i understand regional, but can you say that when you know you in COLU don't have it in your paper. Sometimes you say regional and sometimes you dont. What is your criteria for indicating regional? ). Ive been a follower for 1.5 years and it seems nobody is checking this information just copy and pasting it to a website and hoping for the best. When I first started using your site it was spot on. It just seems the more stores you take on the less accurate your information is becoming. This is not the first time I've sen this. It's pretty much a weekly occurance. I honestly appreciate what you are doing, but this is a job you chose to do so you would want to do it as above board and accurate as possible. I mean all of this is the nicest way. I just wonder if you will not lose some follwers to blogs/other websites that are posting more accurate information and maybe you are okay with that. I just want to put it out there that is is being noticed by more and more of us that have followed you from early on.

      • sonyapell

I could understand your vent IF this site were something you were paying to access. Jenny is providing a FREE service to us. I read this blog, and take her tips as I would take a tip from a friend. I verify for myself that the deal is what I have written down before I hit the checkout line. It's not that hard to double check.

I understand your frustration, but geez, get over it.

      • kristifromchelsea

I do understand your frustration. It can be embarrasing to get up to the counter and not have the correct coupons. However, this is a free service. I cannot imagine the time that Jenny has to put in each week to understand and match all the coupons from across the southeast to numerous stores. Her willingness to devote time to this each week saves me money and I would never have that much time to do it. (She also doesn't have to share her knowledge, only thought I knew how to coupon before southern savers.)

I rely just as much on the post from other users as I do her original lists each week. I see this site as a community blog where if Jenny accidently makes a mistake others can provide insight. I also never go to the store without a backup plan because you never know when an item will be out of stock. Perhaps if you have free time you could volunteer your services to double check her list each week. I am sure it would appreciated.

      • camp

i like it when the OP lists all the coupons related to that product. sometimes it's included and sometimes not. if i end up spending an extra dollar once in a while, oh well. this site has saved me hundreds of dollars. keep up the great work OP!

      • Ddeoliver

At my local Wags, the Oreo Fudge Cremes ARE part of the sale.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1323799424 Sarah Clodfelter Halford

OK Just for the record…Jenny is a stay at home mom and wife, homeschool teacher, and BLOGGER. I don't know (or care) where she gets her info from as far as what is and what isn't on sale, or what coupons are available. Lots of times the prices, product, and coupon is different. But, I feel like SS is a shopping guide, to be used as a tool to help you. Here's what I do- I always have a backup- because invariably, something is different. But I don't get on here and rave at Jenny for giving me incorrect info, I simply adjust my purchases. Be careful about being so critical about a free service- cause it might not always be free! Enjoy the savings and be thankful for the fact that she has listed all the options and you don't have to do all the coupon match-ups yourself!

      • ACT4

Oreo Fudge Cremes were part of the sale at Walgreens in my area as well

      • Stampingirl

I just wanted to let everyone know that the crackerfuls are not part of the deal. I was bummed and left without doing the whole deal. But, the worker there also tried to tell me that I could not get the stuff for the sale price and still get RR. Say what?

Ok so on the Dentyne gum, you can buy 3 Dentyne Pure they are on sale 3 for $1.98 use 1 $1mq and 1 store Q and you only pay tax, your coupons should go farther this way, I ended up get 12 pks and paying 62 cent in tax, also my store seemed to be having issues with the RR printing on the socks this afternoon, they ended up scanning the blistex to get me the 3 dollars RR BUT then I could not use it to actually buy the Blistex so just watch your receipts. oh and they knew about the issue with the socks, there is a help ticket in for it company wide the manager told me.

    • Trisharoby

I was in Walgreens this morning and bought the socks for $3 and paid with a RR from last week and it didn't print a new RR. I asked the cashier and he said that if you pay with a RR, then you don't get a new one. I told him that I didn't think that was right and so he called a manager over. The cashier explained to the manager that my total bill only came to $0.58 after my $3 RR from last week and my $1 off coupons for my 3 Reach toothbrushes and that that is why I probably did not get a new $3 RR. The manger rang in a new pair of socks and cashed it out as cash, and it still didn't print. He said that the RR must not be working for that item at all, and he just gave me $3.12 cash, and apologized for the trouble. I was happy about that!

      • shrimpandgrits

When I was checking out at our Walgreens in Mt. Plsnt. they told me the RR for the socks would not print and that they were having the problem corrected tomorrow with the manufacturer – we'll see:)

your lucky, my walgreens just voided the socks and said if i want the RR to come back when it's working. lol

$2 RR wyb Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash 1 liter or Oral-B Pulsar 3D White Toothbrush at $4.99 ea

This deal is actually printing out an extra $3 RR today (I believe the extra $3 RR stops printing today) so it's a MM.

      Buy 2 Oral-B Pulsar 3D White Toothbrush at $4.99 ea, use the B1G1 free coupon & the $.75 off 1 coupon and a $2 RR & $3 RR will print — you'll make $.75 per transaction. The $3 RR doesn't expire until 8/22/10 and it's compliments of Oral B.

      • Rlewis614

Thanks for the idea! I received both RRs too!

    • Jessica

Question?? I had my walgreens scenario all figured out and somehow I had to use 2 filler items to get my coupons to work, I Bought other items but I bought 2 Simply Lemonades and had a WALGREENS BOOKlet for July coupon to use on that and I thought that didnt count towards items and coupons, but I used 3 RR on my purchase and had to buy a box of cracker jacks and a reese cup to even it out and it worked, if you use the IN ad coupons instead of the walgreens coupon booklet is that when they dont count, cause they counted or me!! HELP im cool though i still did pretty good but my walgreens doesnt have a good selection of Oscar Mayer Creations!!

      • Sue

You did not tell us what other coupons you had or how many other items you bought. I do not think that any store coupons go toward the 1 coupon per item policy. If you give us more info, we may can help you figure it out.

      • Becky

Walgreens booklet coupons count as mfg coupons, only the current week flyer doesn't count as a coupon for the 1 coupon per item

        • lynn

not true..the monthly booklets that are up by the ads are store coupons. u can still use man q's too..

      • Sandy

You can use an easy saver coupon and 1 from the Walgreens ad and 1 manufacturer coupon for each product you buy. If you use a $1/2 coupon it counts as 2 items. RR also count as manufacturer coupons.

      • lynn

could it be it went into tax?? the registers are no fun bec there's no way to see ur subtotal before tax without just calculating it. maybe???

      • Deshaine

Sometimes the items ring up LESS than the sticker price listed on the shelf. That has happened to me and I end of buying 3-4 “filler” items to bring my subtotal above zero. WAGs does not have a scanner like CVS to price check, you have to ask the chashier to check the price. Get with the cosmetic specialist in your store. The lines there are shorter and they *SOME* are nicer about ringing up people with multiple transactions…

    • Melissa

Newbie here. Just came from Walgreens. I had coupons and purchased one of the RR deals if you purchase $25 worth of merchandise. Cashier said the total had to be $25 AFTER coupons were deducted? I am confused.

      • Sandy

Some of the offers do work that way, but some will allow you to buy $25 of products and then use the coupons. Problem is you don't know until you pay for it. The cashier had probably had problems from deals like that not working.

      • Michelle

thats plain hog wash Melissa,, I would call main office if I was you,, complain about cashier and if they want to stand behind cashier, then complain about false advertisement,,, keep the ad and good luck, hope you win this one,, remember,, customer is always right? lol

      • jhoran

        Not true.

      • lynn

actually all deals are before coupons, but also before tax. take it easy on the min wage cashiers. a lot just aren't educated and it's not their fault. it's the manager's fault. ask for a manager. if they don't know, then definitely call district to complain about the uneducated manager :)

        • Anonymous

As a Walgreens cashier who is very well educated, I will agree that it is not our fault. We stand up at the register for eight hours a day listening to customers who have entirely too much free time on their hands tell us how to do our job. It's physically exhausting and mentally draining. And then, after spending Lord knows how long ringing up a soccer mom with three screaming children, we get to deal with the impatient line of customers behind them who have come in to buy (GASP) medicine.

Also Lynn, in your education were you taught nothing about capitalization and punctuation?

          • Al.

I am sorry, but I can not agree with you. The “soccer mom” has the same right as all the other “impatient customers” to shop at Walgreeens, or anywhere else, for that matter. In my case, I don't “have entirely too much free time on my hands”, which means that lately, every time I go to Walgreens, I am wasting my time, as they do not have the products that are on sale, (in fact, some of the products are not coming, like the Neutrogena bars, the stores haven't received those for the last 3 weeks).

Also, maybe you should look for another job, if you do not like the one you have now, after all, your job is to deal with customers, (all customers, not only non-coupon user customers), and make them feel welcome, so they come back to your store, and spend money there. It looks like you are not happy doing that.

            • Bunnykins

i dont think the post said the person did not like thier job or customers, just didnt like being called “uneducated” because he or she happens to be a cashier.
their human too guys and are gonna get frustrated just like the rest of us.
be nice, it's not thier fault, times are hard, and it may not be that easy to find another job.

            • Ali

I am fairly certain she meant “UNEDUCATED” in the sense that the Walgreens managers do not educate their cashiers about how RRs and sales and coupons work. She did not mean they were overall unintelligent. Re-read her post.

    • Cathyrichards1

beware walgreen shoppers!!!!if you purchase items that cost 4/$1, you cannot buy one and get it for .25, when checking my ticket, I paid .39 for each 4/$1 items to use for fillers!!!!

      • jhh

Do you have the cashier scan the bar code on the ad? If not, it shows the regular price!!!

      • jhoran

Sounds to me that you forgot to show them the in-ad q.

    • dawn

My walgreens knew the socks RR wasn't printing so they had a manager void out the cost- got it for $0 and the fuit smoothies had a bonus extra stick in the package.

      • camp

you're lucky, the manager at my wags basically said to come back when it's working.

        • lynn

haha! really???? u should've said will it be working in the am when i call district? wow…i am a manager at a wag and i made plenty of socks free today. that's a mess

      • Wrafb_martins

I was told that the system was down and I had 7 different RR due me—had to void everything and I left with nothing. I even had the manager tell me he was sorry , but I still left with nothing. He never offered the adjust for the register reward amounts. What a waist of time!!!!!!!!! I would love to call the district about this—-where do I get a phone #.?

    • Susangoff

I thought the Neutrogena deal was supposed to run all month?? I bought 3 bars day before yesterday and when I went today and bought three bars, the RR did not print. And just so everyone knows, I have been trying to get as many deals as possible to donate to the St. Bernard Community Center for all the people in my area affected by the oil spill.

      • back2thetable

I think the Month long RR deals end on the last Saturday of the month. When I was in on Saturday they told me it was the last day for June. July are currently printing.

        • Susangoff

Ah!! Thanks so much for the reply :)

    • Tswilkerson

Newbie to Walgreens. I followed your scenario buy 4 Dove products use 4 $2.00 off coupons and get $5 RR. But I didn't get a RR and they told me that the total had to be $15 after coupons. I'm confused what did I do wrong?

      • back2thetable

Mine worked fine today on the Dove deal. Are you sure you bought the correct item?

        • Tswilkerson

I bought 4 Dove deodorants. Was that right?

          • jhoran

Yes. However, the total is before coupons not after. Probably, the catalina machine was out of paper or had some other problem. You can try returning it and then do it over again to get the RR, but I promise you they won't like it because they actually have to give you back the money which includes the coupons that you gave them.

            • Deshaine

returning it will not give you back your coupons you used on your initial transaction… be mindful of that. If you have more coupons, then go for another transaction and consider the first transaction a “lesson learned”.

          • lynn

if it was the correct dove deodorants that are part of the deal?? the basic cheap ones aren't..

    • PTN96

I have some really crazy questions as I try to figure this all out. How many RR will print in each transaction? Which order do I give them coupons?

      Thanks

      • PTN96

I have a $5.00 RR from Dove. Can I use it to purchase the Blistop and get a $5.00 RR? Then could I use that to purchase the Blistex and twizzlers? Would a $2 RR and a $3 RR print that could then be use for the pepsi's that are on sale?

        • jhoran

          Yes

      • Patty

You can get only 1 RR for each different deal per transaction. So if you meet the requirement for 5 difterent deals you could get 5 RRs. You can't spend a RR to pay for the same deal on a return trip. You must use RRs from different deals to pay for your purchase. Be sure if you are using MQs and RRs that you have enough items to cover all the coupons. The RRs count as a MQ. So if you have a MQ for each of your items you will need a filler item for the RR to match against. It doesnt matter what you get as long as the balance due before taxes is the amount of RR or less. I always give the cashier my MQs first then the WAGS coupons and RRs last.

      • jhoran

As many RR deals as you choose to do. There's no limit. Give them the manu. q first, then the wags. in ad q's. For the B1G1 deals, always the $ amount off on the B1, then the B1G1 q. HTH

    • Debbietrimm

where can you get the walgreens coupon booklet ???

      • Bamabobbie

It's at the front close to the weekly circulars. Ask someone if you still can't find them

    • Bamabobbie

I haven't rec'd my July All You mag. Has everyone else rec'd theirs?

      • nancy

no, but I'm a new subscriber.

      • Monkmonk275

I have received mine already. I've had it for at least two weeks maybe longer…

        • Deshaine

If you go to the All You website, there is a way you can check your account. It should tell you when your subscription expires: July 2012, and that month should be the first month of this year you receive your first edition.

          HTH.

      • Susan

I signed up when it was $20 for 2 years and have yet to recieve any magazines :(

        • Jhurt

Me too. It's been 2 months and no All You mags for me yet. I still have to stop by Walmart to pick it up :(

    • Rbayfamily6

Why are the Walgreen's so different. The stores in Dunlap and Chatt. Are so nice. Every time I try to use coupons at the Dayton Store they change the rules on what they can accept. This week I was told you could not purchase a filler item.

      • Ginger

Oh my goodness, really? That just sounds like someone deliberately looking for a way to keep you from getting a deal. I would completely call/email Walgreens corporate if they told me that.

      • camp

when i get a cashier like that i usually tell them. “well why don't you give and shot and see if it rings up right.” in a nice yet firm tone. usually works for me.
wouldn't the word be lovely if wags had a self checkout.

      • lynn

hahahaah really? contact their district office if the manager is no help. every wag is corporately owned so they can't make up their own rules and i promise you fillers are good!

      • M_bruere

Thats hysterical. They actually wouldnt let you buy something? what if you meant to buy it but forgot to pick it up… I have done that many times even if it isnt a filler item. I use candy/caramels all the time and then my daughter and I eat them as we leave. I think corporate would find it interesting a store refused to sell you a candy because they think you got too good a deal on something else they'd rather loose the sale on an extra 50 cents… lol… If that happened to me I would have asked them why it matters to them if I want to get fat eating a chocolate? a filler is a couponers term. to wags every item is a sale!!! guess they dont want to sell those little items?

    • Allison

At my trip to Walgreens tonight, I tried to use two $1/1 coupons on two Finesse products (B1G1) and the cashier immediately told me I could only use one. He wouldn't even TRY to scan it. I was out of town and this wasn't my usual store, so I only used one and left, but I thought I should have been able to use both of them…

      • lynn

        u should've…next time ask for a manager.

      • Lanny

I know that at CVS, it is their corporate policy to be able to use both coupons for a B1G1. Wags is just different – I never am clear on what their policy really is and very inconsistent.

      • danica

i went to walgreens tonite (murfreesboro TN) and the lady took both my finesse coupons for the B1G1.

    • Mcheronecook

I am so glad that most of you can get Walgreens to work like CVS… Let me tell you what happens in TN.
Went in today, bought 2 reach toothbrushes, had $2/2 coupon, 99 cent WG coupon: my total was 87 cents!!! Have to pay tax on the purchase before the sales price, what a joke.
Then bought 4 different Dove (yes, from the correct list) used 4 coupons and did NOT receive RR. Had a manager come over and was told that the $15 had to be AFTER coupons. He actually told me that they are trying to prevent ppl from getting back more than they spend! I had them void my order. Won't be going back. 2 weeks in a row. Bummer.

      • Tswilkerson

I was told the same thing when I purchased my Dove deodorants(yes the right ones).

        • Mcheronecook

I emailed them online to ask for the RR policy. Online all it says is: “Purchase your qualified items, pay for them and your RR print out. It's that easy.” I was called today by the local store assistant manager who let me know she did not have an answer but was trying to find one. She can't find a policy on it either and it's not in the training papers they have. She did say that she will fix my toothbrush issue.

      • AmyFMSC

Hmmm…I purchased 4 of the Dove yesterday and used 4 of the $2 coupons and the RR printed. Must have been a particular issue with that store.

    • Lou

Does anyone know if you have to buy two items for B1G1 sales (I'm specifically interested in the sunglasses this week) or can you get one item 1/2 off?

      • Mcheronecook

When I walked by them at my store, they were marked on sale as 2/$10.00 or $5.99 each.

      • Christy Prince

You have to buy two items, unfortunately.

    • Kristen_DH

I was most excited about the battery deal at Walgreens with my coupons. I never thought I would be excited about batteries, but when you are constantly transferring batteries from 1 controller to another it gets old. Today I found my 'person' at Walgreens! I decided to take my items to the counter by the make up. I let her know I had a few transactions and she told me that it was not a problem. She began scanning my items and when it got to the coupons we had several beeps. Instead of getting frustrated and telling me that she could not do it she worked with me and the coupons until they all went through. If you are in Loganville GA go see my girl Ashley :) ..Oh yeah I spent $8.15 OP and saved $84.69!

    • artmommy222

Anyone know about the four-day-sale? On iheartwags.com, they have a flyer that lists special deals that are just Wednesday-Saturday (6/30-7/3). My newspaper did not have that insert. Is this a regional deal?

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

It wil be in all areas but they won't put it out in the paper until Wednesday. I'll have the deals up first thing Tuesday.

      • Adamportwood

not all areas have this ad, yet alot of stores will

    • Laurie

I didn't get the Reach coupon on the link, but here is another link: https://www.reachbrand.com/html/special-offer.jsp

      • danica

thank you for this link laurie!

    • Rae

Unless the cashier won't give you one….seriously, I had the cashier tell me, “No, I have to keep one up here and since it's the last one, you cannot have it.” Ugh, why does Walgreens hate customers so much??

    • Crystal

Has anyone been able to get the RR to print out for the socks?

      • Mcheronecook

Most Walgreens were having an issue with that yesterday…

        • Mary Ellen

It worked today !!! Love my socks!!!

    • Amy

Walgreens in Travelers Rest is wonderful! Actually, all of the stores have been great around T.R, Cherrydale, and Greer. Today, I went in to get the socks, and the cashier looked almost sick when he saw them. He said that they have been having problems with it printing out. He said sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but he couldn't do anything about it if it didn't print out, except refund my money. Another cashier came over and said it had been printing the RRs at the cosmetic counter, so I went to try it there and it worked! Another cashier was looking on and they talked about all the problems they had with it. Apparently they have had a ton of problems yesterday and today. The whole system is still new and all of the kinks aren't out yet. Be patient with them. All of the cashiers were wonderfully friendly and patient. They just don't know what to do yet if the computer won't print the RR's. I know all cashiers aren't as friendly, but they're probably overwhelmed with unhappy customers and they can't really do anything about it without approval from above. Most cashiers don't know anything about corporate policy. They only know what they're managers tell them.

    • Karen

Just made my first and last trip to Walgreens using RR's! Its CVS for me from now on!! I bought 5 of the deli creations and 2 nabisco products to spend $15 and get back $3 RR's. I had 5 $1.00 off coupons for the deli creations and a $5 RR from earlier in the day. I had to go to 2 stores to find the deli creations. My RR's didn't print out and the cashier told me it was because i used the coupons and brought my total below $15 then she told me that it was because I used the RR's from earlier!! After about 15 minutes of me standing there and a second cashier coming to help, they finally figured it out while the cashier talked about how bad she hated coupons! I am done with Walgreens:(

      • stampingirl

I, too, am done with Walgreens. The people who work there are incompetent. They do not understand their own sales!

        • Thetailoredtot06

There are two Walgreens in my area. One is great. The other, I will never go into again. My RR were not printing and the cashier was acting very annoyed with my coupons. She said the RR's were not printing because of the coupons. Turns out the machine was out of tape the whole time. She acted like I was stealing from her personally. The stores get reiembured for the products with coupons. After the manager was called up, I got my RR's. I think I will stick with CVS and Rite Aid.

          • Zjqtcj

I totally understand and agree with you. In nowaday the economies are so bad, all of us want to save money as many as possible legally. However, some stores think that we are stealing or robbing their stores! Store policy implementations seem to vary largely by store managers. If you get a nicer manager, the cashiers are also nicer. A week ago I went to a Walgreen store and purchased three Neutrogena items (not soap bars) and used three $1 coupon and a $5 RR that I got from NIVEA body wash. The machine did not print the $10 RR for me. The cashier asked a male manager and he said since I used a coupon from the same item. I asked him to explain. He said the $5 RR from NIVEA was considered as a RR from Neutrogena since NIVEA and Neutrogena both belonged to P&G. I had never heard that before. I only know that you cannot use a RR from previous transaction to purchase same deal. What if some people as me are not award of that or are not as “smart” as him to think about that? I tried to argue with him and even said that I did not have problem in other stores, then he said that other stores were doing illegal things and he did not want to do that!!! I gave up and drove to another store next day. I got the RR by doing the same thing in that store a day ago! It just doesn't make sense that machines and managers in different store are so different. I would just go to two or three stores that I know at least the cashier and managers are nicer, if the deals are too good to pass by. The only thing I'm worry about is if more and more people use coupons and become smarter, stores, not only Walgreens, but also Target, Winn dixie, Publix, etc. will become more and more restrict on their coupon policies. Let hope that does not happy.

        • Sofabulous2003

Totally agree with you. I am shopping at CVS from now on. I don't need a single thing from Walgreens that bad!

      • aunt suzie

i ended up just walking out. without anything.

    • Lilbigmouth

I did my first walgreens trip last week they were very patient with me and the manager was very helpful as well. I was very impressed with how he backed his staff up when they got busy also i found it helps them when i am doing multiple transactions to let other people go in front of me in-between transactions they appreciate that a lot. Also i want to thank all of you for your advice and comments learning how to do this has made an enormous difference to our familys budget we are able to do fun things and take trips this summer, nothing enormous but its huge for us.

      • Kristalipe

When you are doing multiple transactions or have a lot of coupons, try checking out at the cosmetics counter.

    • Adela

I hope WALGREENS realizes the use of coupons and the ladies who are passionate about providing their families with food and hygiene products at the best possible price are not going away any time soon, maybe not ever; but certainly not as long as this economy has us up until the wee hours of the night cutting and printing coupons to help us survive the decreasing incomes most American families are facing. Having stated the obvious, I for one, will use the only power left to me, and will not use my good earned coupons in a store that will not let me use a coupon for each BIGI deal. This might be Walgreen's Corporate policy, as I was told by Corporate this past month, but I do not have to like it, or accept it, and will use my coupons at store that have a policy more to my shopping needs. We are many in numbers and growing stronger everyday. Stores do not give me anything for FREE, just the opposite, I give them coupons they turn in for MONEY, and I pay taxes for these products, and any overage I might incur, so it might seem free, but they are getting PAID and making a profit, so it is not FREE. I have promised myself that until Walgreens changes their Corporate Policy and treats us with the respect we deserve, by acceping manufacturing coupons, like CVS, Publix, and Winn Dixie just to name a few, they can take their sales and KEEP them! God Bless America and FREE choice!

      • Sofabulous2003

I totally agree with you. I decided today was the last day I will ever step foot in that store again. Every time I walk into Walgreens the sales people are never friendly and they are like coupon nazi's. Today I tried to use two coupons on buy one get one free suntan lotion. The sales lady told me I couldn't and called a manager. The manager told me I cannot use two coupons on buy one get one free because one of them is free. I also purchased two packages of huggies wipes. I had a store coupon for 2/$4 as well as two other manufacturer coupons. They told me I needed to purchase something else because you are only allowed one coupon per item rung up. I am not sure if Walgreens has a bad policy in place or if they have bad employees. Regardless, I am done with their attitude. I will take my business to CVS.

    • danica

where are the socks and flexitol blistop located at in the store? i had the hardest time finding them and never did….

      • Mary Ellen

Ok, I found the socks on Aisle 1 in my store but they were not tagged.Close to all the foot products. But it worked.
The blistop was on the top of the foot section in a small blue box close to all the stuff like corn pads etc.

      • Dvonste

they are in the foot care section, flexitol is with the wart remover stuff on a peg and the sox are with the dr.scholls foot insoles stuff on a peg towards the bottom.

    • ireneY

This is my third week at Wags and nothing has worked as expected. Unless you are there Sunday morning, none of the RR items are left. I have yet to see one bar of Neutrogena soap between three stores and five visits. On each trip, at least one RR has failed to print. The deals are good in theory only. In actuality, it's a big disappointment. I'll stick with CVS and their Monopoly money! :)

    • Brenda

I tried RR today for the first time and had a great deal all worked out with lots of coupons – in fact, it was just like one of the scenarios suggested above…they told me i couldn't use coupons because it would bring my total below the $25 needed to get the $10 RR…so what is the real story?

      • bleacherbum

I did mine yesterday on that same deal and they made me wait til the end to give the coupons. The subtotal has to be 25 dollars. Hope that helps.

    • Cmoody

I am so frustrated with Walgreens! I went to the store in Whiteville NC to purchase one pair of socks for my 11 year old daughter, she loves them! I asked for their location when I walked in. The cashier asked the woman in her checkout line if she had them all and she shook her head yes. Her buggy was filled with the dentyne gum, jello, reach toothbrushes, floss, listerine, pepsi products and all the other sale merchandise that they had going on. She had 3 or 4 buggies. I was confused since I don't live there and have only gone in that store 2 or 3 times. One of the other employees commented that she does this every week to take to the flea market and they are sick of it. Then she paid for everything separate using her RR. I can digest it better if someone builds up a stockpile over time and then gets rid of it, but to do this every week is stupid for the store. This was so frustrating! Not sure that I will waste my time stopping there again!

      • http://www.danicaknox.com danica

no way! ok that is just terrible! these things aren't meant to be used like that. i have a hard time when people do more than two deals let alone BUGGIES full and to make money selling it elsewhere? that is so wrong. it RUINS it for those of us that only want the one deal with one item.

      • smaks

Maybe you should write a letter to both the store manager and corporate. I do not think they would be ok for one person to take ALL the RR items and leave none for the rest of their customers. If they new they were going to lose business in the long run (CVS jumpers), I am sure the would do something. I have gotten multiple of the same item on sale, but I always do it one day at a time to make sure more than me enjoys the savings.

      • Zjqtcj

I guess eventually Walgreen will or should do LIMIT ONE ITEM or issue Walgreen card just like CVS. I'm shocked there are too many people buying free stuffs even in some areas in which richer people are living. I have to go early in Sunday morning in order to find on sale stuffs and may have to visit several Walgreen stores. CVS is much simpler since you can only get one deal.

    • Ybsosa

Hi, in response to the Whiteville NC my store in Greenville only gives one deal to the customer at a time for example you could only get one pair of sox.

    • meg

Do we have the deals for the 4-day sale yet?

    • kaseyshadow

So glad I can go to the WAGS on Emmaul Church Rd! I have never had a bad experiance there with coupons. Today I asked when their truck came in and she told me then asked why. I told her that I wanted to get the reach toothbrushes. She went to the aisle got two that were not the ones listed in the ad and rung them up at $0.99 each then took my $2.00 coupon and manually keyed it in. All with out a single grump! LOVE that wags.

    • Hdhamrick

I tried the $10 RR on $25. I NEVER get these to work right so I asked if we could do a separate transaction. The RR didn't print. I had $28 worth of product and $10 in coupons. The girl called the manager over and said the total had to be $25 after coupons.

      • Gamecockshan

From what I understand, it's supposed to be $25 BEFORE coupons.

    • Hootiesoftball

      Hi Kim,
Sorry for some reason or another it would not let me post a reply? I tried the Iheartwags.com website just a second ago and it isn’t showing up unless I’m missing it?

      • 3monkeysmom

Regarding not being able to reply….I have that trouble too. After I sign in to Disqus I have to refresh the page in order to leave a comment or reply to a comment…
Not sure what the problem is but that always works for me :-)

    • Hootiesoftball

Does anyone know when the Wags 4-day sale will be posted on here? Just wanted a heads up to plan it out. :) Thanks!

      • Kim

I tried posting earlier but since I put a website it has to go through the moderator so let me see if I can get around it…you can go to iheartwags dot com
The 4 day sale is listed there and it looks pretty good! Lot's of RRs and freebies/almost freebies!

    • Gamecockshan

Did anyone else NOT get the Wet Wipes/Skintamate/Edge/Playtex coupons in your 6/27 SS from THE STATE paper in Columbia? My grandma has a subscription and she gave me her ads and it was NOT in there.

      • kaseyshadow

We always miss out on the good coupons with the state. So wish I lived closer to Charolotte or Augusta so I could get their papers

    • Alevans85

Does anyone know of a zip code that works for the Reach Q's?

    • Sheba18

Did anyone have a problem finding the Finesse coupons and rebate in the SS 5/16??

    • Sue

I am not a regular Wags shopper and am very bad about letting RR's expire. However, I have shopped several different stores and have always been treated well, with some of the service being what I would term as exceptional. I did 3 transactions in the same store on Monday with no problems. I noticed on the bottom of one of my receipts an opportunity to do a survey and enter for a cash drawing. Now, I never expect to win anything, but I do feel that surveys are a good way to let them know about the problems that various customers have. I have seen no mention of the surveys on here, so quite possibly, those customers who have the issues are not using this tool. When you do your survey, they will know where you shopped and who your cashier was. I can almost bet that, if they receive numerous negative feedback on a particular person or store, they will try and get to the bottom of it. I have, in the past, done surveys voicing my complaints to other stores and been contacted personally. So, please, don't look at that code on the bottom of your receipt as something you're “never gonna win so why bother”, but as a tool to maybe make things better. Also, if we have a very good experience, we should let them know it.

I am so glad I'm not the only one having problems with Walgreens. I have left my purchases at the register more times than I can count. I've finally gotten to the point where i won't go in unless the deal is so obvious there is no way they can mess it up. The deal also has to be worth my possible aggravation. They seem to look for ways to not give the deal and are just downright ugly when you walk up with coupons.

Didn't see this mentioned in the comments, also didn't see it in the ad if I recall correctly……..The big bottle( twenty something ounces) of Suave professionals shampoo was on sale for $3.49 with $3 RR back.
Couldn't find a coupon for Suave but 49 CENTS is still a good deal on that much shampoo!!

      • Sammi

Actually, I belive you have to spend $10 in Suave products to receive the RR. I could be wrong about the exact amount, but it is spend ___ get $3RR back.

        • 3monkeysmom

Maybe there's a different deal?? The sign I saw was below that shampoo and had an equation on it :-)
          $3.49-$3 RR = 49 cents

          • 3monkeysmom

I googled to try and find it but all I saw was the spend $10, get $3 RR………….maybe my eyes (or my brain) are playing tricks on me :-(
I will definitely look next time I go to see whether or not I'm crazy :-)

I wish I had read your comments before I went to WAGs today! I had gotten a free coupon for a Suave Professional product in the mail, so I took it and used it thinking I'd get free (almost, .49), and 3RR, but all I got was shampoo for .49 +tax! :(

            • 3monkeysmom

I had the free coupon too (used at CVS) but it was for the 14.5 oz bottle. The RR sign I saw was hanging below the big bottle, 20something ounces…..
              What size did you get?
Maybe it was a fluke…I haven't been able to go back and check to see if I really saw what I saw :-)
I'm pretty sure I saw it like I remember, b/c I had just come from using the free coupon at CVS and was scolding myself for using it already and then realized the sign was for the big bottle.
Hopefully I can clear it up soon :-)

I found it on another blog….this is a RR deal but for some reason, it's not printing or the signs were wrong or something….http://hip2save(dot)com/2010/06/walgreens-airplus-socks-register-reward-not-printing-new-deals-sharpie-oral-b.html

Just wanted to let everyone know that you may have gotten an insert of coupons in your 'junk' mail recently (I got mine yesterday). One of the manufacture coupons was $2/2 Sauvitel fabric softener. Use that with the B1G1 in ad coupon to score 2 for .99!

Was super excited when I left WAGS today. Had all my scenarios worked out to leave with no RR and lots of great buys. I did the Reach toothbrush deal. Bought 6 toothbrushes, used the wags Q for .99 and 3 B1G1 Q. Total was 2.98, and I got back 4RR for Reach. I was so excited! Did not expect any RR, and got back 4! Yay! Now I have 4RR to use next week!
