These deals start Sunday at Walgreens. This is the strangest ad I’ve seen for Walgreens in quite some time. Next to nothing for Register Reward deals, and the rest of the ad looks like a grocery store flyer. There are some good deals but not much in terms of free. If you see any other deals leave a comment below.shoppinglist1

That Blue Diamond printable doesn't include the nuts…

      • Carla

I can not find the coupon when using the link? Anyone know?

    • Rclay18

Couldn't find the 1.00 off Palmolive coupon.

    • Kim

Are you actually using 2 manufactuer coupons on 1 item? I know I can use a Walgreens coupon & Manufact & stack them…..

(Example – $5 RR wyb Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual or Power Razor System $9.89
-$2 off Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor, PG 7/04
-$4 off Gillette Fusion Razor, PG 6/06 (makes it 89¢)

      • Amy

        No, $9.89 – $4 coupon= $5.89 (out of pocket)
        Then get back $5 RR.
That makes it $.89 after RR.

      • AshleyQ

Hi Kim, The items with the ” – ” are showing you the coupon options that are out and available to use if you have/can find them. Think of them as a bullet symbol instead of a mathmatical symbol, and not suggesting you use both, HTH!

    • Saranobile1902

the renuzit coupon is only for $1.00. If nyone finds one for $2.00 let me know. I love these!

      • Weesey

Yes please I am looking for the $2.00 Coupon ALSO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Lisa

You have an amazing site!!! Thanks for all your work, which makes my shopping easier.

    • kaseyshadow

Will the $1.00 coupon for washable dry earse markers work on the 4 pack regular dry earse markers that is on sale?

      • Caroline34

I was just about to ask that… I printed it off but haven't tried to use it yet. Anyone know??

    • Jess

I want to make sure I have this right on Walgreens coupon policy…..i understand that you have to have the same # of items as you do coupons. Does the “in ad coupon” count for that also? For example, if I have a “filler item” that has an “in ad q”, do I need another filler item that doesn't require a q in order to use a RR on this transaction?

      • Sm7212

The “in ad” coupon does not count as a coupon. So you have to have the same number of items as you have manufacturer coupons.

      • Aunt Sissy

The “in ad coupons” or any Walgreens coupon is not considered in the coupon to item ratio. The thing you have to watch for is the fact that if an item is for example 2 for $1 they will sometimes count that as one item. If you have two man. coupons for those two items it can mess up your item to coupon ratio and you would need an additional filler.

    • Aunt Sissy

I couldn't find the Palmolive coupon either. The link took me to a site with .25 coupon.

      • Razlmz

        me too. :(

    • Beth

Can't find the Prevacid $10 coupon. Link takes me to a $4 coupon. Anyone know where I can find the $10 coupon? That would be amazing!!

    • Becky

I'm pretty glad that this week stinks at Walgreen's…my pocketbook needs a break from stockpiling!

      • pat

Me two! The taxman has been getting his share lately. I'm a little bit tired of Wag's hopping but I have enjoyed some of the deals, I have a few RR's to roll this week, sure wish my hair color was on sale!

    • Shawna

Can you combine manufacture coupons with the coupons found in the Walgreens Coupon Book? Or do they both count as Manufacture coupons and they won't let you use both? I hear something different every time I go to this store!

      • Suemh

        Yes, you can stack them.

        • Shawna

          Thanks!

          • Anonymous

The problem comes in with the way the coupons are presented. You will usually need to present the mfg q’s first then conveniently ‘remember’ that you have store q’s too. Then everything should clear fine. Check out this link for an email response on their coupon policy: http://www.couponforum.com/discuss-coupons-151687.html hth!

        • mommaof2

Each time I have tried to stack them they tell me I can't. Where in their policy does it state this, so I can politely inform them? In the Wags monthly coupon book, it states on the actual coupon that it is a manuf's q and cannot be combined (even though based on the bar code #'s it is clearly NOT a manuf's q). I have not gone back to Wags for this reason.

          • Suemh

I have done this several times. On my last visit I bought the Dentyne Gum which was 3/1.98 and the coupon book had a coupon for 99¢ off. The cashier automatically scanned the coupon in the book and then accepted my $1 off coupon. I did this twice. I have never actually seen their policy.

            • Brownebaby

I tried the same deal and they said the only way they would take the manf. coupon is if they reduce the face value of the coupon to the sale price which was 33cents. I took what i could get because they were being very diff. but after i left i thought about how unfair that was because they are going to get reinbursed a $1 plus. is there anywhere we can get a writen copy of coupon policy?

    • Jenni

This is the “worst” ad for Wags I've ever seen. And since last weeks was “ok”, hopefully in two weeks they will have a really great one. SO glad that I used my last RR's I had last week on the sweet charcoal deal.

      • aczek16

i agree! either they will have a good deals in the next couple of weeks, or they know they cant compete with RiteAid (or CVS)!! :))

    • Rbayfamily6

I was just informed by a walgreens employee that you can not stock pile coupons at walgreens anymore. For example if the coupons states Buy an old spice body wash get a body spray free. You can not use a coupon on the body wash also. Can someone please clarify this for me.

      • Mamaberry

Hmmmm misinformed cashier :) One store and one mfg q per item remains the standard. Employees are not trained on coupon policy (imagine that) so we get to train them free of salary! Just make sure mfg q's are presented before store q's to get the best deals.

        • Brownebaby

every store will tell you something diff. The last time i went in the said you have to have an item for each coupon. So if you have 3 coupons you have to have 3 items. the item could just be a stick of gum, but it has to be the same amount of items and coupons.

          • Mamaberry

Yes, you're correct. That does apply for RR scenarios. If I have 2 bags of diapers, two mfg q's, 2 store q's and a RR, I will need a filler item to make up for the RR. Since RR's are considered mfg q's, the # of items purchased must match # of mfg q's being used.

So, 3 items purchased (2 bags of diapers and 1 filler…ie pack of gum)
            2 mfg q's used
            2 store q's used
1 RR to pay for my transaction
            = 3 items used and 3 mfg q's redeemed….make sense? :)

Walgreens has been in our family for (sadly) 16 years now. They have NEVER trained ANYONE on coupon policies, because….well, it's WallyWorld! That's just the way they roll. However, when the switch over to their 'rewards card' program soon, I am sure we will see some BIG changes. Not sure if that's good or bad…hmmmmm

      • Bamabobbie

I've had Wags to accept a coupon on the one your buying and use the bogo also. Other Wags will not let you use but one coupon. I really don't understand since your buying one I feel you should be able to use a mfg on it along with the bogo free coupon. It's on two products.

    • sonyapell

Ok, I've got $5RR from the Dove deal that expires on the 17th. I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want to get some things and try to roll them into more, or just forget about it and use up my goldfish Q's I've been sitting on. Decisions, decisions.

my ad says that 2/4$ on the nature valley bars. above it states 2$ ?

      • Suemh

        2/4$ equals 2$ each.

      • Hender328

        There is a .50 coupon at smartsource.com

    • griffin

The printable Dean's coupon is for 12 oz. and greater, so is not good on this special on the 8 oz. in the Walgreen's ad. Thanks for all of your hard work!

    • Wadeob1

i know Publix lets you use 2 manufactures coupons on bogo items but does Walgreens and CVS?

      • Hender328

That is because at Publix and Kroger a product rings up at half price. So if an item is $2.99 and it is BOGO. The first item rings up at $1.50 and the second rings up at $1.49. You then can use a coupon on each. So a .50 coupon will double for each item, making the first .50 and the second.49.

Winn Dixie makes you buy two items and they ring up regular price and free. So the first item is $2.99 and the second is free. You can only use one coupon, because technically you are paying nothing for the second item. I hate Winn-Dixie.

      • Coupons090

        yes.

    • kaseyshadow

Anyone tried to use the $1.00 off expo washable markers for the 4 pack on sale? If so did it work?

    • Carley

there was an expo dry erase board/set of 6 marker combo on sale for 7.99 and the q for $3 off in the coupon booklet worked for that too!!!

    • ireneY

I had a $2 Catalina expiring today and couldn't find any deals to roll, so I cashed out on clearanced socks. LOTS of mens and womens socks are 75% off. 3 pairs of mens athletic socks for $1.29, 3 pairs of womens trouser socks for $1.09. After getting home, I realized the deal was good enough to spend actual cash on, but I'm done with Wags.

    • Angela

Family Dollar has the 20 pack of Duracell batteries for $6.00, and with the P&G coupon, it's an even better deal. That was for AA…I didn't really need another size, so I didn't check the others. My sister said that at her Family Dollar in Alabama, they were $5.00 a pack!

    • kcreviews

Here is a post from someone off a different couponing site that has excellent info on WAG coupon rules (though it's not official, I guess, because there is no such thing):

“Walgreens Customer Service has verified that they WILL accept a Buy One Get One Free coupon on a Buy One Get One Free Sale. It is no different to them if I walk in with cash – I pay for one and get the other for FREE. My coupon means that the manufacturer is paying for the one I would normally pay for with cash. The other one is still FREE… so, yes, they are both FREE to me (except for tax, if it applies). Walgreens gets reimbursed by the manufacturer for the one item that I would've paid for with cash had I not had the BOGO coupon + they get an additional $.08 per coupon.”
      (Thank you Darla)

    • Amanda

Where can I get the WAG coupon book?

      • Rlewis614

in the store by the weekly ads

    • SallyKay

Question–If the Neutrogena Clinical ends up costing me ~ 29.00 + tax and I mail in that receipt for a rebate–how is it I make 5 dollars? Won't Neutrogena just reimburse me for the amount I actually paid?

      • Gamecockshan

From what I understand, you get reimbursed for the original price BEFORE any coupons. So if the kit costs $34, and you use a $5 coupon and pay $29 out of pocket, you will get back the $34 from the rebate.

    • Bbeteag

I had a lot of RR left over, and they expire quickly, so here is how I used them ! I got 16 pocket folders (8/$1 with store coupon in flyer), 12 pencils (9 cents each with coupon in flyer) and 1 pack mechanical pencils (39 cents with coupon in flyer) and a Norelco men's electric razor at $59.99. My total was $63.46 before taxes. I used 21 $3 RR, which brought my total to 46 cents. After tax, my OOP was $4.27. The cashier called the manager over, saying, “This lady has a lot of coupons!” And the manager replied “As long as they scan, that is not a problem.” Woohoo! I got a great gift for my son for his birthday!

      • Meredith1976

That is AWESOME! Way to go!

    • Bev

Yes, regarding the Netrogena deal…won't the manufacturer only reimburse you for what you paid for it? Don't see how you can make $5 profit?? Anyone know?-

    • Brittney

      Question: Can I buy 3 Suave BW, use two .75 q's and 1 B2G1 q?

      • Felicek

I think so-I have done something like that before. You culd always call them before you go and ak for sure.

      • Brooke

Don't rely on what employees tell you. They make things up. So to answer your question, yes you can do that. The 2 75 cent q's attach to the 2 your buying and B2G1 attaches to the free on. Walgreens registers can be ornery though. It may help to hand over 75 cent q's first, then B2G1.

    • Felicek

I just got back from Walgreen's this is what I got. I am still new at this! I got the Lysol Air kit on sale for $6.49, used a $4.00 off coupon and $2RR, got the RR Suave buy $10 of products got 2 kid's shampoo at $3 each ($6) used 1 coupon for .50 off of 2 suave products, got 2 body wash at $2 each ($4) used 2 .25 off the body wash, got back $3 RR, bought one Stridex product that I needed used an instant $1 off made it $4.99. And impulse Snickers buy at .89. Paid 17.65 including tax saved 15.48! I had another $2 RR dated 7/23 – but they would not take it-anyone know why? I had $4 RR when I went in-they took one-said they couldn't take both. Is it because they have the same date on them?

      • WRgirl

Dates on the coupons don't matter. You can't have more coupons than items you are purchasing. That's what Jenny means when she talks about “filler items”. Buying a .20 cent piece of candy can make it possible to use that other coupon.

        • Felicek

Thanks for clearing that up! I read somewhere and counted in my head-I had too many coupons to use it-being a newbie I didn't realize what the filler was for. Thank you this helps and will help me in the future.

        • Meredith1976

And, Walgreens counts RR as coupons. I did not know that and was getting so confused by why they would not accept my RR. Just count items and make sure you have as many as you do coupons. And, don't forget to count your RR as coupons.

    • jen

I was able to use the $1.00 coupon on Expo 4 pack dry erasers
that are on sale for $1.99. So I went back to the store with
      my second coupon.

      • kaseyshadow

Maybe I'll get brave and try it then. I'd love some $0.99 markers. I teach.

        • Hender328

My wife teaches also and we scored a couple of packs of these for .99 cents each. This is the part that most people never think about teaching. During the year we will spend around $200 buying stuff that she wants to use in her classroom. The last couple of years the supply money has been non-exsistant.

    • Randallclan

Walgreens has a booklet on the vitamin aisle that has over $40 worth of coupons on vitamins and such. It is “Vitamins and Supplements Q and A”.

    • Hender328

Look in your local gas stations for a coupon for Oreo Cakesters and Oreo Brownies.
.50/1 coupon tearpad. They are on sale for 2/$1, so they are free. And Good.

    • Firstbrownie

The Cheerios had $1 peelies on them……$1/box (these are the bigger boxes too!).

    • kashlea1

That Blue Diamond printable is for a larger oz than what's on sale.

    • Diane

I got a 40 bonus points for stouffers.com. I’m not going to use it so here it is…

    • Kpboehm

Does anyone know the zip code to use for the printable Slim Fast Shake coupon? Mine (29650) doesn't work.

      • Lisa

I may have used 36117 for mine, not sure though! Good luck

    • Kpboehm

:( The printable coupon for Palmolive Dish soap is now coming up as a $0.25 q on 20oz. :(

      • Kpboehm

The printable $2 coupon for Renuzit is not there either. My Walgreens shopping list is gettting smaller and smaller :(

    • jhomemaker

My local Walgreens would not take my internet coupons. The cashier told me they have stopped taking all internet coupons because too many people have been copying them and using copies. It says on the coupon it is void if copied, but apparently there are a lot of people out there making multiple copies of their coupons. Bummer.

    • Becky

I'm posting this on the RA and WAG boards.

Just a little comment to get it off my chest or maybe encourage those new to couponing. I have a Rite-Aid, Walgreen, and CVS all within a couple of blocks near my house here in Montgomery. I would dearly love to go to the ones nearby, but I gave up yesterday. CVS is fine, but the people in Walgreen and Rite-Aid went out of their way to be unfriendly, curt, and unhelpful. And what did I buy? 2 cartons of Slim-Fast, a box of envelopes, and index cards in Walgreen's (even let 2 people go ahead of me) and toothpaste and 1 other item – can't remember now – in RA. Just to say they were simple purchases.

In one store, after much sighing and pretending to be stumped over 2 manf. Qs and 2 store Qs (4 items), she sent it through but looked at my $2 RR like it was poison. I said, “Oh, I thought the use of coupons was approved by Walgreens.” She just stared blankly at me. I said sweetly, “I would so love to come to this Walgreens, but the one across town just loves to help me, so I guess that's where I'll be going from now on.”

Same deal with Rite-Aid. I asked the cashier why it was such a struggle for them to take coupons when the other ones didn't seem to have a problem. No answer. I then went to a Rite-Aid a little farther away, and you would have thought I was royalty. She was even digging in my envelope for some extra coupons for me and making suggestions. It was fun for her and fun for me, and that's the way you attract customers, not by being hostile. She even called me back to go over my receipt in case I had a question. In Walgreens, the cashier laughed about the fact that I had to go find things twice and even gave me a booklet of coupons I had overlooked, all with good humor. I complimented each of them and told them why I would make that my only store.

So there is no excuse for all your hard work to be turned into something unpleasant. It took all I could do to go back into stores today after my experiences yesterday, but I'm so glad I did.

      • Nurseamc

OMG! I had the same experience with my local Walgreens! My first experience was horrible! I thought it might just be me, so I gave them another chance this week…my cashier was nice enough, but the busy body cashier across the lane was quick to inform me that I couldn't stack a MFG with a Store q. I politely told them that according to their policy, you could…as long as they were not both MFG qs. By the end of the conversation, she made me feel like she was doing me a favor by taking ANY of my qs and my MONEY. I'll never go back again…needless to say, my business will go to CVS and Rite-Aid from now on. I LOVE my CVS and Rite-Aid. They always make me feel appreciated, coupons and all.

        • Meredith1976

I agree. Some stores are bad. Stick tot he ones were you are treated nicley and the employees re helpful. I love to go to the CVS by my house early in the morning (like 5am) because there is the most wonderful lady that is so cheerful (even at that un-Godly hour) who always says “Here comes the coupon lady”. I think she enjoys seeing the deals I get as much as I do!

    • 56debbie

I live in Birmingham alabama and the Walgreens here will not take internet coupons anymore. Does anyone know why?

      • Hender328

Our Kroger in Auburn used to be that way, but probably cannot afford to anymore being publix opened up. Just yesterday I went in with a few small stack of coupons and purchased 11 items. Ten were in the Buy10/Get $5 off promotion and one was a close out. I used 6 coupons and all were legit internet coupons. The woman at the register as me where I got them from and if they were legit. I told here that I had printed them all off of the internet and she said some of those are not legit. I assured her that all of mine have come from one of the coupon site or from the manufacture themselves. She just kind of rolled her eyes. As a man I get mixed reaction, sometimes I get the “Wow that great I wish I knew how to do that” and other times I get the “I must be doing something illegal” or “I am taking money directly from them” or “I am wasting there time having to put in coupons”.

Short version—Some people do not understand how the game is played so they think that every coupon that we walk in with off of the internet we designed, photoshoped, and printed ourselves and that it just happened to be be for .10 less than the item cost.

    • Firstbrownie

I found Nexcare Waterproof bandaids on clearance for $1.89; they were the twin pack, and I recently printed $1 off qs……I think coupon.com, but I’m not sure; 89 cents for 40 waterproof bandaids!

    • Felicek

I went today to use some expiring RR I had. I got some school supplies for my classroom and a couple items for my kids that were left on their lists. I bought 16 3 prong folders with pockets with the flyer coupon the are 8/$1, 2 packages of penway big pink eraser 2 pack for .59 each, 2 packages of 10 pencils at .79 each, one mini highlighter (not the ones on sale) at .39. Total was 8.99 used in store coupons and savings 3.34, 5.00 RR, subtotal was .15! with tax I paid .65!

    • Meredith1976

I have to share the awesome deals I got at Walgreens today. BTW…Look at the clearance sections on end caps (usually at back of store). There are great name brands back there and I had coupons for almost all of them so most were FREE! So, I got:
6 pack double rolls of Charmin, 2 Tuf paper towels, 2 Crest toothpastes, 3 packs of t he Papermate mechanical pencils, 8 folders with prongs, 5 mini hi liters, 1 box of envelopes, 2 legal pads, 1 Gillette men's shampoo, 1 Pantene Pro-V style sculpting gel, 2 packs of index cards, 1 Eco-Friendly travel mug, 1 pair of slipper socks, 1 pair of “cozy” socks, 3 pair of men's black dress socks, 1 box of Tampax tampons (20 count), 1 L'Oreal Visible Lift foundation (normally $14.79) and 1 Dr. Scholl's Hidden Arch support for Her….ALL FOR $20!!! Woo-Hoo! I used both Walgreen's coupons from the sales ad and the July coupon book and manufactirer's coupons. GREAT DEAL! Thanks, Jenny, for getting me hooked on saving!

Oreo Cakester, Vanilla Oreo Cakesters, and Oreo Brownies (Individual Packages) are on sale 2/$1. There have been several tearable coupons in several gas stations for .50 off one package. This makes these free. Gas stations are great sources for coupons on items such as individual snacks, drinks, chips, and power bars.

    • Hender328

Coupons.com now has a .75 off goldfish. Making them .24. I did not enter a zip code, but am in 36608 if that helps
