Just a heads up, the manager at our local Walgreen’s confirmed that the Register Rewards will not print if you use any on the order. He has received numerous complaints and forwarded them to his District Manager but there is not a published policy on this. He has agreed to “make it right” but apparently, it is a programmed function now. You can either insist on them giving you the RR manually or break up your transactions to not apply any to items that generate RR.

Is there a limit on the Goody handband rebate? 1 per household or anything?

    • Amanda

I have been “rolling” RR all week!?!?

    • jamie

This is an individual store issue I believe. I’ve spoken with several WAGs Mgrs around here and it’s something they’ve never even heard of happening.

    • http://chattanoogacheapskate.com jamie

Individual store- meaning this is either determined by region or store to affect only some.

    • Cindy

what i have discovered is you cant use the same reward u got to buy same item. example if u got a 3.00 reward for dr peppers u cant use it to purchase the dr peppers again. it wont print. and also most of the time if a reward doesnt print its usually cuz you picked up wrong item, wrong size, etc.

    • Tina

How do you get the Yes to Carrots coupon? I went to the link and subscribed, but got nothing.

    • Miss M

I just tried to print the Splenda $1.50 off coupon and it said no coupons available. Does this mean they will not print anymore?

    • Heather

Do Walgreens and CVS not accept competitor coupons (ie Target, Publix, etc.)? I never seem them mentioned so I am assuming that is a no?

      • Jenny

        Heather,

        That is a no. Sorry.

    • http://southernsavers.com Linda

I can’t get the say yes to carrots coupon ,where is it on their site?

    • Denise

I live in illinois & rolling rr is working fine. Asked 3 managers – they all knew nothing ab the rr cancelling out new rr

    • Ellen

The carrots coupon didn’t work for me either. I signed up but there was no printable.

    • Anom Lee

If I made purchases of the same things (Oral B Toothbrushes) at 3 different stores and got $2 RR for each purchase, can I combine them ($6 RR total) when buying something else like say batteries or do I have to use each $2 RR in separate transactions? I really don’t want to pass up on .50 toothbrushes.

    • Michelle in Georgia

i couldn’t get the carrot Q to come up, either!

Yes Alissabeth – only one rebate per household. Sorry.

    • Lynn

Ditto, on the Say Yes to Carrot coupon. Can’t find it after subscribing. Anyone actually getting to it? or do they email it to you eventually?

    • Michelle in Georgia

They haven’t emailed it to me yet, and I tried yesterday. :(

    • Amy

The rebate says one per name & address. I am going to try mailing in another one & see what happens!

HELP! I went to Walgreen’s this morning and they wouldn’t let me use my RR from last week. I had one for $5 and one for $1. Can you tell me what I did wrong?

I got 2 Listerine total cares and used 2 $2 off coupons and I bought 2 Oral B toothpastes and used 2 $1 off coupons. The cashier said I used too many coupons and it wouldn’t use my RRs????!!! What did I do wrong? I had to pay the $8 out of pocket because it wouldn’t take my $6 RR

      Thanks!
      Jerica

    • http://southernsavers.com Linda

Jerica you can’t have more coupons than items, you should have picked up a low priced candy or somthing so you will have the same number of items and coupons. RR’s are considered coupons hope this helps

    • http://www.izzybonline.com Jerica

thanks so much linda!!! now i know. i’ll plan better next time! i thought the girl was crazy but i didn’t want to ask the manager since i had people in line behind me

    • Sarah

But walgreens coupons are not added up as Coupons to them . But the RR are . Hope that makes sence . TOday we used a walgreens coupon and got the cheapest thing witch was .25 cent little mini notbooks .

    • kristie

Has anyone tried the axe deal? I didn’t see it in the sale paper and its not marked at the store.

    • http://qclue.blogspot.com/ Shelley

The manager at one of the 2 Walgreens that I frequent told me that the RR would not print because I’d used RR’s to pay. He was quite rude, and he said, “I know about you people and your websites.” I felt like saying, “Well, goody for you!” If they don’t like it, they shouldn’t advertise the offers. Needless to say, I haven’t been back. The manager at the other Walgreen’s is very polite and helpful, and I roll my RR’s with no problems there. As usual, it seems that Walgreen’s is random and inexplicable in their policies.

    • jane

I purchased the Goody’s rebate item using the $1.00 coupon. On the rebate form it says you will receive the actual price paid, excluding tax. I take this to mean I will get $2.99 back, not $3.99, making it free but not a money-maker. Also, the $1.00 is for the Ouchless headband, but I bought the Ouchless clip and the coupon worked.

    • JEB

If I get 1 Scotch mailer on sale for .39 and use the .50 off manuf. Q, 2 Mars candybars and use the Walgreens Q for candy making them .49 each and the manufacturer Q for $1 off 2 candybars, will I need a filler item or be ok or will I get overage?

    • Bobbie

Jeb, you never know what their rules are from one day to another but I don’t believe they will give you anything back.

    • April

I just went to my Walgreens and I purchased 2 Listerines, used 2 – $2 off coupons, and purchased the Goody’s ouchless headband and used the $1 off coupon and neither the RR or the rebate printed. The manager told me it was because I used coupons and they were loosing too much money from all the coupons and RR. I returned everything and will try it at another Walgreens tomorrow.

    • Becky

Has anyone purchased the Foster Grant reading glasses? I was in the store today but did not price them. I did not know if this would be a good deal or not and the sale ad only states BIGI. Thanks to anyone that can help!

    • http://southernsavers Diane C.

I was in and bought the reynolds foil for $.99 and was going to use a $1 coupon that was about to expire and the assistant manager told me I could not use it because it was over the cost. He refused to change either the coupon amount or the purchase price to match. He said they have been told not to do that anymore. I had already done it earlier that day. I just wish they would stop changing policy constantly. I left without the foil

    • Migs

I thought it was just my horrible Wags!! I went in to buy the free after RR pens from last week with $1 RR from the week before and the RR didn’t print. I asked the cashier who bought over the manager. The manager was extremely rude and condescending and simply told me I was trying to outsmart the system and I should call 1-800-Walgreens with my concerns. I asked him when the system had changed since I had rolled RRs plenty of times and he said it had always been the policy!! I called Wags and got the same thing only ruder!!! Honestly… you think the ppl at customer service could at least be polite!!!! She also said it has ALWAYS been their policy at which I told her I’ve done it plenty of times in the past. I also told her it doesn’t specify that anywhere on the coupon so she then said she would forward my complaint to the district. Let’s see what happens. =(

    • Amanda

April, I purchased the same exact items yesterday, and my RRs printed just fine. They are not losing money on coupons. They get reimbursed for every coupon that they accept.

Diane C, I also purchased the Reynolds foil for $0.99 with a $1.00 coupon. They do not constantly change their policy. In my experiences, the cashiers AND store managers simply do not know their own policy and make up excuses as to why they will not accept coupons and as to why RRs do not print.

    • Emily

I bought the ouchless headband yesterday (7/26) and am looking at the Mail in Rebate- it says I’ve got to send in the “Original cash register receipt with qualifying product and price circled dated between 06/28/09 and 08/01/09” Does this mean I can’t get it since I bought it two days earlier? uh oh!

    • Anom Lee

Emily, I thought the same exact thing when I looked at the rebate. You can get it because 7/26 falls IN BETWEEN 6/28/09 AND 08/01/09. I

    • Emily

haha~ This summer sun must be frying my brain! Thanks!

    • Christy

Is there a secret to finding the Goody’s coupon? I may just be missing it but I don’t see it…

      Thank You :)

    • Jennifer

Christy, I cannot find the Goody coupon either, but I don’t think it matters since the rebate is for up to $3.99 and the cost is $3.99. According to Jane (#26), you will only get a rebate for the amount paid. You might as well save your printer ink and paper and just get a rebate for the full $3.99.

    • http://palmettowriter.com Rebecca M.

I went to Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens today, and had at least one small problem at all three. But Walgreens seemed like the trickiest.

Goody Ouchless Hair Accessories (Headband, Barrette, 2-pk claw) $3.99
-$3.99 Mail in Rebate prints on register receipt
-$1 off Goody Ouchless Headband, printable
(makes it FREE plus overage after rebate!)

I had two of these Goody coupons, so I bought two headbands, only to discover that just one rebate will print. I am going ahead and sending in the UPC’s for both headbands, but doubt I will get refunded for more than one.

      Rimmel Cosmetics B1G1 entire line
-$3 off any Rimmel Foundation July All You
or B1G1 Rimmel Nail Product August All You (if included) (makes both FREE)

I planned to use the nail polish coupon to get both items free. BUT BUYER BEWARE!!! The ad says B1G1, but the fine print on the stickers around the Rimmel display says it only applies to items priced $3.99+. The nail polish is $3.49. I asked the cashier about this but she said that the display sticker is the deal. Disappointing… I will wait ’til the polish goes on real sale somewhere else.

I’ve found in the past if I give them the manf q before the hand them the store q it goes thru, hope that helps!

    • Jandi

I still haven’t received the Yes to Carrots coupon either and was unable to find it on their site. Also can’t find the Goody Ouchless coupon at the link provided.

    • Jorge

      Hello All,

I have noticed that it all depends on the cashier that is assisting you at the time; some know how to work the computer system to push the qpons over and some just don’t know and they call the manager or assistant manager that will either push the qpon. I did get one manager that did not know how to use the computer system and just gave me a rain check with the RR discount on the item. also if you are friendly they are friendly (i.e. just tell the cashier that you are going to do multiple transaction and if a line forms behind you that you are more than glad to step aside to let the line go thru and you can continue with your check out.) works fine with CVS and Walgreens.

    • http://www.CouponMama.org Travise

Had a good day at WAGS only went to purchase two alluminum foil and I purchased 18 of the FREE CANDY oh yeah and the mailers…total $27 paid $1.51..

    • Pamela

Where is the $1 coupon for reynolds. I seem to be missing something. I don’t see it listed.

    • Alison V.

For you Chattanooga shoppers, the WAGS on TN Ave. near St. Elmo had really nice associate working cosmetics for check out and a super nice manager who helped me work in all my coupons when I forgot that my RR’s all counted as coupons (and I had more q’s than items).
