Alllright, now just waiting on pins and needles for Rite Aid!

      • rebecca

        me too

        • MKP

The WAGS booklet coupon says “Not valid with any other offer” as well as “manufacturer coupon”. I'm going to mine to see if I can stack, as I have $2 off on Kotex from the booklet and $1 real manufacturers coupon.

      • Jenni

I know! It used to be CVS that we all looked forward to, but NOW it's Rite Aid (well, AND CVS)!

    • kcreviews

Can you only do the Schick Hydro rebate once?

      • Bamabobbie

You can do more than one deal but on a seperate transaction. Do not use the RR earned on the first deal to pay for the second or you will not get another RR.

      • Kristenltheisen

        Rebate is one per household

    • rebecca

how do you get the august coupon booklet?

      • macboy

They are usually at the front registers in the stores or in the same spot as the circular in the stores.

    • Fisher75

Tried last night to use my register rewards along with mfg coupons but was told that they have a new rule that these cannot be used together anymore. The register rewards are considered mfg coupons now. I used them a month ago but can no longer do this. It is getting harder and harder to do transactions at Walgreens because they keep changing their rules. Guess I will stick with just CVS and Rite Aid for now.

      • lovedbyGod2

thank you! I absolutely couldn't understand what happened yesterday, and the cashier wasn't able to really explain it. Apparently she wasn't aware of the rule… it's OK. I love CVS and Rite Aid.

      • ireneY

Oh, that is just ridiculous! Luckily, I am holding only $1 in RR, so I won't be playing their games any more!

      • Bamabobbie

I really think each Wags makes their own rules on each transaction. Why doesn't corporate write a policy for the customer and store to go by. I'm just about tired of all their crap!!!!

      • Mary_P

Our store started making weird rules like that too until they got too many complaints to corporate. Corporate talked to their manager and then the manager even call my husband to tell him what they had changed. I wish you luck! Use that phone number on the receipt everytime you need to complain about how they are treating customers. They are NOT reading the RR, because it states how it can be used.

    • Mary_P

I found $4.00 off Bausch & Lomb Bio True on a tearpad at Walgreens last week! I kept a coupe because I knew this sale was coming up. So you might get lucky and find one too! I also had a $2.00 off that I found as a printable a while back. I think it is still in date too. Stock up everyone!

      • Mary_P

Actually I forgot, I got the $4 off coupon at Walmart :)

    • I think this…..
$5 RR wyb (2) Benadryl Allergy, Cold or Sinus 20ct at $4.49 ea or Zyrtec 25-30 ct at $18.99 ea

is supposed to be a different price than $18.99/ea. That seems a bit high for those products, and this match-up….

-$1 off Benadryl product, RP 8/08 (buy 2, use 2 coupons, makes it 99¢ ea)

…would not end up at $0.99/ea if they were both $18.99 with only a $5 RR wyb2.

Anyone know what the right price is??

      • there are two different prices there, the benadryl is $4.49 and the Zyrtec is $18.99

        • Ah…thanks…..I was obviously reading it wrong with just the lat price!! Thanks for straightening me out!!! LOL

    • Vic

On the Nivea products, can you use the buy 2 get $4.00 off Nivea body products and the Buy 2 Women Body Wash get a Free Men Body wash together? Or, can you oly use one since they are both manufactures coupon?

      • laurensmama

You should be able to use both of them since you are technically “buying” 4 bottles of body wash. You will just get 1 free with the sale, and then 1 free with the manufacturers' coupon.

    • lovedbyGod2

I wish CVS and/or Rite Aid would match these deals – I just won't shop at Walgreens again until things change… not just the coupons, but the professionalism of the manager at the store I visited today.

    • Pamelahmccall

I am reading all the negative complaints about Walgreens, and I do agree that they have the most unfriendly coupon policies of all the stores. The only reason that I go to Walgreens is that it is so close to my house and across the street from Publix. My Publix LOVES to get their RR's so I stop by Walgreens, buy something that is free after RR and take the RR to Publix to buy groceries. I have stocked up on contact solution this week, even made a 1.00 each time after coupon that was on the carton. I also used some of my RR's this week to get my black cartridges refilled. I think Walgreens is the only drugstore that does this and it saves me so much money on printer cartridges.

      • harper

My Publix will not accept Walgreens coupons because they aren't “true competitors” since they are a drug store :-(

        • Pamelahmccall

My Publix here in Charleston, SC said that the Register Rewards from Walgreens are actually manufacturer coupons. They ring up on the register as vendor coupons on my receipt, just like any other regular coupon, and Publix gets reimbursed for it. I wonder if your Publix realizes this…it might be worth checking with your store to see.

          • Maynger7

Hello…i might be moving to Charleston SC soon and I was wondering if there are any other good money saving/frugal living websites or blogs specific to the area…also if you had to choose between living in Goose Creek, Summerville or Charleston where would you suggest…we have no school age children just a freshman in college here in FL…thanks in advance for any help…

            • Eileen

Mount Pleasant beats all towns you listed !

            • Dblum1959

I live in Summerville, right off I26. Walgreens and CVS around the corner. Walmart, Target, TJMaxx, Staples lots of restaurants just across the bridge. I do work in Charleston tho, and traffic is a bear, but thats going from both directions Mon -Fri.
              HTH.

            • Myerstone

I have been visiting here for a couple of months now and have been wondering if there are any websites like that for Nashville, TN (Hermitage area specifically). I would really appreciate any help you can give. I just love this site.

            • Allison

It all depends on what you are looking for and where you will be working. Driving into Charleston is a “bear” if during rush hour (s)–no matter if driving in from S’ville or Mt. Pleasant. You will certainly get more bang for your housing buck in S’ville than MP.
Goose Creek is okay but would choose S’ville over GS. Again, it depends on your interests and what you like to do. For couponing and store locations, I usually go to West Ashley or Summerville. There is no Harris Teeter in S’ville yet but I have seen a sign for one coming soon. I still use southernsavers.com for all the couponing in the Charleston area. Hope that helps.

            • Immaculate888

Traffic is not bad in the mornings going from downtown towards Summerville and it is not bad in the evening coming FROM Summerville towards downtown. I live in a neighborhood in North Charleston called Park Circle and it is wonderful. Best part is, I never have to fight traffic because I am always going against it instead of with it. I work towards Summerville. I hope that makes sense haha.

          • Myerstone

Thanks for the info on that. I didn't even notice that coupon prints out as Manf q. I will be trying to use this at my Publix or Kroger this week. It makes sense that either of them should take or any other retailer for that matter.

          • Christine

I have pointed this out to my Publix and they insist that since it “printed out at Wags, if you redeem it here, we will not get the money back for it.” anyone else get this??

        • Christine

Same here, I'm always so disappointed.

    • Jlyons55

Doesn't walgreens have a weird rule that you have to have enough items to cover each coupon you use? For example, if I am buying one item but have a WAG coupon and a Manufacturer coupon then I need a filler item right? If this is true, do the RR count as a coupon? If I have a RR and a manuf. for one item do I need a filler item?

      • Nancy

Yes, you are correct on all of the above, and yes, unfortunately RR's count as coupons :(

      • shopnut88

I finally figured out Walgreens Coupon policy today. This may already be known, but to CLARIFY:
You can use 1 Manufacturer Coupon, and 1 Walgreens coupon on each item. (The Walgreens coupons from the book in the store, and the ones from the ad, you only need to use one on each transaction since they work for all the items in the purchase).
If you want to use RR, this is the only time it gets tricky.
        A Made Up Example:
You buy 2 Toothpastes, and have two manufacturers coupons, and there is a coupon in the Walgreens coupon book for it. You also buy 1 toothbrush and have one manufacturer coupon for it.
In this case, you would do the transaction as follows:
After ringing up all three items give the cashier your 3 manufacturer coupons, then you give them just one walgreens coupon for the toothpaste(it will work for both the toothpastes). And if you are not using RR you can pay. IF you want to use RR though, you need a small filler item since you have 3 items and 3 manufacturer coupons already.
Bottom Lines———–You may NOT use more manufacturer coupons than you have items(YES, RR COUNT AS MAN. COUPONS!)
————You only need ONE Walgreens Coupon for any sale items you want to buy since that will work for all the same items in your transaction.

      • Nina

The Walgreens coupons don't count against your coupon total with one coupon attaching to each like item you are purchasing. The RR coupons are manufacturer coupons, so total up your manufacturer coupons including RR's and make sure you have that many items.

    • Jerriducker

what zip code is the mentos?

    • Libby

I have a question… every blog site says that the Walgreens coupons that come in the booklets are store coupons but my store says they are Manufacturers and won’t let me stack them. They do say manufacturer coupons them but it says manufacturer only good at Wags… I’m so confused

      • harper

My Wags does the same thing!

      • Shawna

For some reason, it appears each Walgreens has their own coupon rules. I went to 3 different locations in the past week and was able to stack the coupons from the booklet or a coupon in the ad with a manufacturer coupon. However, I have heard so many variations that I never know what to expect when I go in there. I wish they would develop an official policy that all stores have to go by!

    • Sugar

Hanes BOGO – isn't there a printable coupon for that out there? Is it a Target cpn or manuf?

      • Shawna

The ones I have are for Target only unfortunately.

      • Voldoll27

I think the coupons you are referring to are Target coupons, but check the packages. All the kids socks & underwear I saw this morning had “$1 off this package” coupons on them.

    • Nancy

As of today I am done with Walgreens! Went in today and bought a jumbo pack of Pampers and some wipes to go with it. Had a coupon for diapers, a coupon for free wipes and $5.00 in RR's. TOTALLY forgot about the coupon policy and of course had too many coupons for the items I bought. I had to buy 3 pieces of candy I didn't want to make the deal work and spent $2.00 more than what I wanted to spend.

I know I sound like a spoiled brat, but this is ridiculous. I lost the value of $2.00 worth of my RR's because I had to buy filler items! I'll stick with CVS and RiteAid from now on.

Good luck Walgreens…I'm NOT wild for you anymore.

      • Disgusted with Walgreens

Hi Nancy, I have a standing call in with corporate office on Wed. from a horrible experience at a store. I have no problem with the stores in the, shall we say, more affluent areas, but stopped at a store in a questionable area the other day. The manager was a complete jerk. I tried to use a coupon from Coupons.com (which, if you look on their website is used on their OWN site) and the rude manager told me “we only take real coupons”…he didnt even know his own corporate office supports the coupons. I looked at him and said every other store uses these. He said he didnt care. I told him it was discrimination – people in poorer area stores cant do the same thing in other areas. He said nothing. I called the ACLU and had a chat with them. :) Fortunately my father in law is an attorney of 35 years and I plan to chat with him also. Although we were the same race, it was discrimination against people of certain socioeconomic status. I worked in a competitors store for 11 years and I have never EVER worked with or gone into any other store containing a manager like this! I totally know what you are saying…

      • millie

no i totally understand, i feel the same way……i went to walgreens only to burn my RRs and was terrified the enitre time that it was going to be a disaster. i did end up having to get one more filler item so i got a 33cent legal pad but it truned out okay but i am so done with walgreens and have been distancing myself for a while. more people feel like you than you might think. hang in there!

        • Nancy

I just think it's so misleading to have to burn those RR's on a bunch of filler items. I'll try to be more positive in the future! :)

      • CADgurl1

I am SO done with them too. I have hung in there over the last year or so trying to tell myself “you'll get the hang of it and then it will be easy” or “they'll get a better system soon” but last weekend when I was at Wags something inside me just clicked and I thought: This is crazy! No more. I am done with them. It's just not worth my time anymore. I'll just stick to CVS – a store that wants and appreciates us couponers. Bye bye Wags …

    • Della

Today I got two boxes of visines with Q's and two boxes of cereal for 2.49!!! Then I got $2RR for the cereal!!! I love WAGS! Total OOP .49!!!!

    • Dairygirl42

Did anyone see the tanger outlet coupon that was on here i missed it and a friend told me it was posted on southern savers.. could someone let me know how to get it??

    • mommy!

On the nivea deal, could you use the $4/2 coupon, the free Men's coupon when you buy 2 bodywashes, AND a $1 off coupon for the men's wash?

      • Sarah

You could not use the $1 off coupon for the men's wash since you're already using the free coupon for the men's wash.

    • shopnut88

Made another trip to Walgreens today. Got 3 tubes of Neosporin and 2 Boxes of Visine for 2.97. I found another crazy quirk about their coupon policy. If you want to use the Coupons from the Walgreens book, you must wait until after they have ALL other coupons. Also, everyone PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: If you use the coupons from the Walgreens book, YOU ONLY NEED ONE, even if you are buying 3 deals of that item. The Walgreens coupon multiplies the discount by however many deals you have, and you MUST give them this last!

If you give Walgreens your coupon from the walgreens coupon book and then try to hand them manufacturer coupons for the same item it will not work, IT ONLY WORKS when you give them YOUR MANUFACTURER COUPONS FIRST!!!

    • di

went to walgreens and seems like they changed policy again.it u have two items different ones and both gets rewards back u will only recieve 1 item with the reward, like the dial body wash and baush&lomb solution u ring up together u will only get the rewards for one of them.i ask them why they said not them was the manufacturer doing this uggggggggg.they were very, very nice about and i was too.i said when did they change this they said about 2 weeks ago. i still ask why they keep saying was not them but was manufacturer doing so.but i think its walgreens. t all so like if u get the body wash and have a q and have rewards u have to use one or the other not both ugggggggggg. i know that changed cause last sat everything worked great. i dont like it .but i love my walgreens the people there are great.this was asst manager who told me this. but was so very nice about it.i have shopped at this walgreens for 5 years.dont like the new policy they said was the cantalina people doing this, dont like. i have to really think hard if i want to keep shopping at walgreens.

      • Alovv03

I went to my Walgreens today and received two RR in one transaction. I got the Dial soap and the Biotrue. I read through the coupon post from previous employee and it coincides with what they are saying…. so I am not thinking this is the catalina folks doing this…. For my transaction, I used a $8 RR and received one for $4 and one for $3 back. I wonder if it was because you were using a RR for $4 or $3 and it caused the machine to skip giving you a new one?

        • Kim

I also bought the Biotrue and the dial together and got both the $4 and $3 RR and I paid with an $8 RR. I had no trouble at all. I also used printable coupons and coupons stacked with their coupon book to get the Pilot pens free and the Kotex U for 50 cents.

        • di

i had a reward from the ink i bought a week ago.i have done my coupons there for a long time.buying the dial soap and bio true together i had other stuff that was like 12.38 that included tax and all did not print out. i had the right amount of items for the coupons and they would not take my q and rewards q together , said the policy and changed. i have done transactions like this all ways and has never had a problem.they still insisted it was Catalina company doing this. they said i had to do each rewards per item separately in all honesty i really think it was the cashier and the manager not under standing how the coupons work. cause i have never had a problem with this before.i have done coupons for about a year and a half.but i still love my Walgreen thou but if this the case i may stop shopping there. i will continue to my shopping at cvs and rite aids

    • Previous Walgreens Employee

I worked at walgreens for almost four years. I can give you the rules about the coupons:
Yes, you are only allowed ONE manufacturer coupong PER item. You can also use one store coupon per item. (You can use one man. coupon and one store coupon on each item) Store coupons consist of any coupons in the weekly ad or any in the monthly ad (the booklet). It is true that you only need to cut one ONE store coupon for you products, as it will multiply for however many items you have. (On a side note, I have also used a coupon from the weekly ad in addition to a coupon from the monthly ad for the same item. So this is something that may work if there are any of the same items on sale.)

As for RR, they are a little different. They are considered manufacturer coupons and they say that on the top, so you can use RRs at any store that accepts man. coupons. But at walgreens, the ONE man. coupon per items still applies. So if you are buying a tube of toothpaste and you have one man. coupon and a store coupon, but you also have a RR (which makes 2 man. coupons and only 1 item), you have to buy a filler! I recommend something cheap. Ramen Noodles are only 33cents or so.

Another things about RR is (this is the tricky part) if you have more than one item that you are to recieve the same amount of RR for, it will only print one. For instance, you want to buy toothpaste and diapers and both should give you a $2 RR, if you purchase them at the same time, you will only get one! So just split up your transaction! However, if you buy two items together that yield two differnt amount RR, you will get both in one transaction (so long as you dont use a RR of the same value during this transaction – see next paragraph).

If you are buying an item that will give you a RR and you use a RR of the same amount, you will not receieve another RR because the computer thinks you already got it. For example, your toothpaste shoud give you a $2 RR but you used a $2 RR during the transaction. You will not get another $2 RR. Just keep this in mind and use a different valued RR and save the $2 RR for another transaction.

One last thing, walgreens registers will not let your coupons cover the cost of tax (the government always has to get their share of things!) So if you have too many coupons that reduces your total to below what tax should be for your enitre purchase before coupons, the machine will probably beep. This is another time where fillers are useful just to bring the total back up to a price past tax.

And as many others have said… use the manufacturer coupons first, then the store coupons! I hope this was helpful!

      • current employee

I am glad you posted this! I am in management with Walgreens and this is true. Fill in items make transactions easy for everyone!! Feel free to purchase a Kit Kat this week for .49 as a fill in item!!!

    • Mcleodsc

The WAGS at the corner of Lafayette and Calhoun (in Sumter, SC) has a NEW coupon policy-NO INTERNET COUPONS. So I left my order and went to the 24 Hr. WAGS on Broad St. where they gladly accepted my coupons. I do not see how the store on Lafayette can afford to turn away customers.

      • Future_aka00

No one has told me about that one!!

    • Libby

I think I am just going to stop shopping at wags! I emailed Wags to clarify if the coupons in the booklets were manufacturers or store and the response came back as manufacturer. The rule must be different in other stores than mine but I won't be going back.

      • Tatkins

you need to call 1-800-WALGREENs. The booklets ARE store coupons, and you CAN use manufactured AND store! Just always give the manf. first, then the store, sometimes it wont take if total will end up a negative.

    • Ginger

Has anyone been able to print the Dial coupon? What zip are you using? thanks.

      • Jenny M

When I click the Dial coupon link it takes me to a website where no zip is required. I clicked on the $1 off link and the bricks coupon popped right up. You might try going straight to the website http://www.dialsoap.com

      • Kim

The dial is a bricks coupon so you don't need a zip code. Jenny's link takes you to the website and then you just click on the box that says “save $1 on …” and it takes you to the coupon and it automatically prints.

      • Tatkins

    • Just wanted to give the heads up in case anyone in interested. I did the above Kotex U transaction and when I was done a coupon printed for a free box of playtex gentle glide or sport tampons.

      • Kim

This happened the last time they were on sale with RRs and I was hoping the same thing would happen but I bought 2 today and nothing happened :+(. What kind did you buy?

        • I bought kotex u tampons and pads. one box of each

      • Tatkins

I work at walgreens, and this is not a constant, it depends on the past purchases you have made with your specific card. It does not always print this out for everyone:(

        • How does walgreens track what you buy they don't have a card?

        • Kim

What card? Walgreens doesn't have a card.

      • tygirl13

I purchased one box of regular Kotex U tampons and got the free playtex coupon. It doesn't expire until October. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a Playtex RR deal between now and them.

    • Becky McG

there r q's for $4 off 4oz Bio True in the Walmart vision Center. that makes it a $3 money maker!!

    • BVanhoy

2 Walgreens in Triad NC would not let me used both the 4/2 and Free Mens Body Wash. Both Manger's said Since I got one of the ladies free they couldn't honor the mens.
Anyone else having this problem? This is why I usually shop at CVS. Never had this problem before

      • I had no problem using both in Lexington SC.

      • Kim

Used 2 at 2 different stores in WNC.

    • I was so excited about the Nivea deal, but when I got there, the flavors of the women's body was didn't smell so good. Just FYI.

      • Cindy Casey001

Darn, I was headed there to get mine. Did you notice if they have unsented?

    • Michelle

The Wags at Hwy 6 and Plattsprings in Lexington informed me tonight that they no longer allow you to do multiple transactions and use your RR's. They are now requiring that you wait until the following business day to use the RR's you earn from that trip, or take them to another Wags that day. This will make me think MORE than twice about going there. Has anyone else heard this new policy at any Wags in the Lexington/Irmo area?

      • Jenn

That is soooooo not fair! Do they not realize that RRs are nothing more than COUPONS? They still get paid for them! Use every register you can, including the pharmacy. Once you've exhausted them, take everything to the car. Come back in and do it again. (At least one won't care!)

      • The Wags in Lexington across from rite aid told me the same thing last monday then the cashier asked me on Tuesday if i wanted to split my transaction so i could use my rr on the other purchase. So confusing.

      • Dandscloud

I was told the same thing at the WAG on hwy 6 and plattsprings. But when I asked the cashier if the coupon when printed actually said we had to use the next day she said she didn't know. Don't think I'll go back there either :(

    • soccermom

Is anyone having a hard time finding the $5 off Schick hydro razor coupon that is suppose to be in todays ss? Both walgreens and cvs have a deal with it this week.

      • Nicole

I didn't have it in my paper (The State – Columbia) DH just asked if I could get a good deal on them becuase he wanted to try them.

        • Jenn

It's in Charlotte Observer. Since you're in Columbia, if you'll be in the area, check with the place downtown that sells all sorts of magazines and newspapers. (Sorry, it's been a while since I lived there!)

    • Mrein

I went to walgreens yesterday and came out confused! i purchased the Dial body wash and the Bio eye solution. i received my RR. My second purchase consisted of the same items. i used the RR i earned from my previous purchase but i didnt receive RR on them with my second purchase. i talked to the manager about it, but it still doesnt make much sense to me. is this how all of the walgreens work or just the one that i went to?

      • Cindy

That is correct. If you use RR to purchase the same product you will not get new RR – that's the way the system works.

        • Jaybird114blue

If i buy 2 differents items from same company will I get 2 rr ???

      • Shirley Stevens

You can not use a RR to buy the same items. You have to use it on something different.

      • Amandaheat

At walgreens – You can not use a RR from Dial to get another Dial. So, lets say you get dial, pay cash and then you get your RR. GREAT – well be careful not to use it on the next Dial you buy. Walgreens is confusing. This is why you have to plan a little bit more so than at CVS. Also with the BIo eye, you used the previous RR from Bio to get another Bio and hence…no print! Try to work something out where you would use 1RR to get another different item that will give you a RR and just make sure you keep an eye on which ones you are using so as to not use the SAME RR on the SAME PRODUCT! Good luck!

    • natalie

for florida residents the -$1 U Kotex coupon is in the RP 8/01 insert with the Juicy Juice ad.

    • shoppergirl

This may have already been asked but can you combine register reward coupons? If I have 2 $3 RR can I use them both in one transaction?

      • Shawna

I have been able to do this (as recent as a week ago), but because every store is developing their own bizarre policies, just ask first. You should be able to though.

    • Madpaulmom

I had a horrible experience yesterday at Walgreens. I went in for the Dial and Nivea bodywash deals (2 of each), the Kotex deal, and the toothpaste deal. As I was walking the store, I noticed the manager doing some shelf stocking at the end of certain aisles. Then it occured to me that he was always at the end of the aisle I was in. I kind of felt like I was being followed. So, I go to check out and I do the Dial soap deal first. Get my RR. Then I start checking out with all the other stuff. The manager suddenly appears behind the register watching every item and every coupon. I smiled at him and said good morning. Not a word, not a nod, nothing. Now it is time for the Nivea coupons. I have (2) $4 off 2, and (2) B2G1 Mens body wash free coupons. The mgr will not let me use the $4/2 saying I already used coupons. After a few minutes of making sure he understood that I had bought 6, get $8/4 and 2 free, he rather rudely scanned the coupons and walked away. I looked at the cashier and said that the manager was making me feel like a thief. The cashier said to me “Well look at all the stuff you are getting for no money. I understand why.” I was furious. Then to top it all off, they put 8 bottles of soap, 2 boxes of tampons and 2 tubes of toothpaste in one plastic bag. As I am walking out to my car, the bag breaks and I am having to pick up all the stuff. I was furious when I got home and called customer service. She was very patient with me and told me that someone would call me by Tuesday. At 10am this morning, I had the regional manager call me and apologize over and over for the actions yesterday. He said that all coupons are welcome there and he hopes that I will visit again. He said that the manager and check out kid were wrong in how they treated me and he would talk to them. I still don't know if I want to go back there since I have complained…you know they will remember me when they see me with coupons again…….

      • Shawna

I am glad you called customer service. That was ridiculous of the manager, who is supposed to set the tone for his employees, to act that way. No wonder the cashier was rude as well. It is uncalled for that we couponers get treated this way for trying to save money. Further, the stores are getting reimbursed for the coupons. I try to always go to the cosmetics counter in Walgreens when I have coupons b/c they tend to be nicer. Sometimes, I do not even like going to Walgreens b/c it is always a new story/coupon policy every time!

      • Dwebb

if they treated you like that, they likely treated others like that, so don't worry about going back in there. It could most likely be any of a number of folks that they treated badly.

      • Future_aka00

I am so sorry that you had this experience. I am in management at Walgreens and can truly understand your frustration. I allow my customers to use all coupons as long as it does not exceed the number of products they are purchasing.

      • Susangoff

I'm sorry you had that experience. I have a few good wags to pick from in my area so I feel lucky. I would go back if I were in your position. Like another person said, I'm sure they have done this to countless others so they won't know it was you AND how good would it feel to know that they have to treat you nice, weather they like it or not!! Don't feel ashamed, you are not stealing anything. They get reimbursed for those coupons. :)

      • Ebunnie63

i had same thing happen, i called corprate, the manager called, i went back, the manager that was rude, had meeting with cashiers, my son was in front of store and heard it, he told them not to look at me funny, do what ever i say.. lol.. i go in every week just for the point of it.. lol

    • NicoleSwaboda

Does anyone have the 7/25 redplum nivea coupons? I bought 4 papers, but I cannot find ANY of my redplums?? I have no idea where they went. I need 2 of the coupons if any one has them please email me at NicoleSwaboda@yahoo.com Thanks everyone!!!!!!! :)

      • Runionj

a week or so ago a very nice cashier in the makeup department gave me a handful of samples with coupons attached for $1 off nivea products. they are getting ready to expire so she was just trying to get rid of them.it might be worth asking.

    • ezed

Can anyone tell which order I should my RR vs. MFC? I did several transactions giving my MFC first and the computer told the cashier that I needed to buy more stuff when he tried to used the RR. I bought a few $1 candies and it worked but I would like to figure this out. I'm thinking I should always do the RR first? Thanks!

      • Rebecca

I do know that the number of coupons cannot exceed the number of items you are purchasing.

        • ezed

Do you know if the RR is considered a coupon?

          • Cputman200

Yes they do count Register Rewards as a coupon so you will some “extra filler” to use them.

          • Michelle S

            RR are considered MQ

      • Shawna

I usually give all manufacturer coupons first. Then store coupons. I give the register rewards last. I am not completely sure if the order matters at Walgreens b/c each store seems to have their own rules regarding coupons instead of one policy for all stores. I just always try to make sure that I have enough filler items to cover every coupon (they include RR as manufacturer coupons too).

    • KGLikesFreeinTN

The Hanes B1G1 is too good to miss. I bought 2 packs of kids' socks for a total of 4.99 minus $1 off instant coupon on both packs, so net cost of 2.99 for 2 packs of socks (6 in each pack).

    • Jaybird114blue

did anyone have problems using 2coupons on the pilot pens I could only use one

      • beck

I did this deal at wags a few weeks ago and I had no problem using both the walgreens coupon and the manufacturer's coupon on the pens. But just remember, at wags you have to purchase the same number of items as coupons you want to use. So if you want to use 2 coupons on 1 pack of pens, you'll have to also buy a little cheap filler item, like the $.19 glue sticks or something.

    • Nancy

The tressame hair products are in the ad 2/7 here in florida and everytime its in the ad i can never find a coupon. do they not have it up north and thats why its never listed on the sale page here?

    • Christyhnj

Where do you get the Walgreens Coupon Books?

      • AndysGirl

they should be near the front of the store in or near the rack of weekly sales flyers. Ask the clerk if you can't find them.

    • Ebgirl

I went to Walgreens and got all the school supplies except 2 items for $11 and the Hanes socks which are B1G1 both had -$1 coupons so I got two packs of socks for $3. Awesome!!!

    • Jaybird114blue

helo i was thinking about buying 2 packs kotex pads the couon book is for $2.00 off can i use 2 of those coupons

      • Nick

From what I can gather, you only need to use the Walgreens coupon one time and the register will apply that coupon value to every Kotex Pad you purchase. That's why sometimes a coupon will say “Limit 5” or some other limit. You can buy up to 5 with that one coupon.

        • Jaybird114blue

          thank you

My wags in camden always counts any coupons in their monthly coupon booklet as a manufacturers coupon and will not let you use a 2nd man. coupon (that you bring from home) with it. anyone else run into this? it happens every time i've tried to do the benefiber deals, so i usually avoid banking on using those monthly coupons from their booklet.

One of our local stores told me the same thing so I try to go to a different one.

Try giving them the one from home first. I used $1 off Kotex from home, then $2 off in coupon booklet, and worked just fine in Knoxville TN. Have done this many times.

Goody's is B1G1 this week. If I buy 2 of them will I be able to use 2 of the $1 coupons from Sunday's redplum? Or does Walgren's sell the first one for $3.99 and the second one for $0.00? I did search and haven't been able to find an answer.

I think you should be able too but all stores are different

I bought 2 on Wednesday and was able to use 2 $1 off coupons in Lenoir City TN so net cost of $1 each; plan to go back and get 2 more

I just left Walgreens and got: 4 packages of Hanes Underwear, 2 packages of Hanes socks, baby wipes tub, 2 packages of loose paper, Dial soap, 2 boxes Kotex U, Bio solution, 2 mini notebooks and I spent……76 cents! When I went in yesterday they gave me a check for $25 if I transferred a prescp- since I was out of my medicine I went ahead and filled it and shopped while waiting for it! WOW. I was excited PLUS I got $7 in RR back!

Does anyone besides me have trouble with Walgreens being out of items that have RR's? I am new at seriously couponing. I have been to Walgreens every week for the past 4 weeks and 3 of those weeks they have been out of items I needed to get RR's. This week alone they were out of the body wash , KotexU, and Bic pens.

Lots of us couponers out there. You have to be the early bird to get the worm. I can usually find the RR deals if I go on Sunday or early Monday, but stores will often be out as early as Monday or Tuesday. I try to pop in on Sunday or early Monday just to get the freebies, then go back later in the week and use my RR's to get other sale/coupon items.

      2 $1.50 items =$3.00 – $2.00 coupon = $1.00 plus tax

      • Tawanda

That should work. Depends upon your cashier.

    • Hubbardca

My Walgreens didn't give the RR for the biotru. I have had other problems there as well each time – at two stores, actually. The people are nice, tho'.

4 women's nivea body wash, 2 men's nivea body wash, 2 right guard deod, 3 bags of chips (3/$1 as fillers plus my son can take them for lunch).

used two $4/2 nivea body products cpns, two B2 women's G1 nivea men's body wash free cpns, one B1G1F right guard deo cpn, and $5 RR, paid $6.11. not bad considering i bought the non-sale deodorants, by mistake.
