A Walgreens Register Reward Rolling Scenario.
This starts with no RR but if you have some then use them. Remember that RR’s are coupons so you will need to have the right number of items for the number of coupons you are using. One other thing to know this week. You probably can’t do the Reach Toothpaste deal with the Rembrandt deal or before or after the Rembrandt deal. They are from the same manufacturer.

    • Jill

Thank you so much for all you do.

The Breathe Right printable says it excludes the 10 ct. so it won’t match up with this sale.

    • Delores

I think (and I could certainly be wrong) that you forgot to include in your list the free toothbrush that is shown on the last page of the ad. Maybe I am just missing it in your list somewhere, though. Thanks again for your all your work.

    • Delores

never mind! sorry — just saw it. :)

    • becki

ok im a ding dong so bear with me! the “filler” items you have listed in your examples are going to be whatever item printed on the rr in the transaction before it? so it just means several trips to the register?

i found your site a few weeks ago and i love it!! thanks for all great savings!

    • Verona

Could I use RR from the Listerine Smart Rinse to pay for the Rembrandt or Reach dental products and still get the Rembrandt or Reach RRs?

      Thanks!

    • Joy

The printable coupon for the Ajax dish soap is for 21oz or larger, and the ad says 89 cents for 16 oz. Will the coupon still work?

    • Brandi

Becki, a filler item is any item you purchase to either meet a $ amount or to make sure your number of items does not exceed number of coupons. Most people try to use a very cheap filler item such as a $.30 piece of candy but you may want to fill with an item that you particularly need even if it isn’t on sale. You do not have to make several trips to the register, you can simply pull only certain items out of your buggy at a time, complete the transaction and then pull the next out, etc. The trick with WAGS is that your number of items bought cannot exceed the number of coupons you’re using INCLUDING RR and also that if you’re expecting a RR in a particular transaction, don’t use a RR from that manufacturer to pay for it. In other words, you can’t “roll” deals you have to stagger your transactions and use RR from alternating manufacturers.

Okay, so, I thought I might be able to help explain but I probably just made things worse! ;) Hope you were able to get something out of all that!

    • becki

okay….now i think my head is going to explode! =) i understand about the filler item, about not being able to “roll” deals, and qs equaling items. but, how do you know you will be able to use the rr that you get from one transaction on something you have in your buggy? they are item specific coupons right?

i know i am probably just making this harder than it is!

also, is anyone having a prob printing the theraflu q? it keeps telling me to download the software but i have done it 3 times.

    • Kelly

Becki, the rr is not item specific

I can’t get the theraflu q to print either.

    • becki

OH!!! no wonder i coulndt figure it out! this whole time i was thinking the rr were item specific. thanks brandi and kelly!!

    • Anne Marie

I have the August All You mag but I don’t see the coupon. Anyone know what page it is on? Also, I have the August 28th, 2009 mag, is there more than one?

    • becki

      anne marie-

for the sugar? it is on pg.133

    • Rachel

I can’t print the TheraFlu quopon either. It keeps telling me to download the software too. Oh well!

This is a GREAT week! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

    • Anne Marie

Oops! Sorry, I got ahead of myself. The coupon for the easy mac.
      Thanks!

    • Holly

      Quick Question!

If I have $9 in RR and buy $8.99 in products, is this allowed or do I have to purchase $9 to use all of the RR?

      Thanks!

    • jaclyn

Holly – I had a 10rr and they wouldn’t let me use it on a 9.99 purchase. The computer wouldn’t allow it so I still needed a filler. Maybe it you get a nice cashier they could adjust it?

    • Bobbie

Holly, at my Wags you would have to have a filler item making the total go $9.00 or over before tax to use the $9. RR

    • Taylor

FYI: The Ajax printable q is for 21 oz or larger. The .89 advertised Ajax is only 16 oz.

    • Chrissy

      Becki,

the filler item will be something you can find cheap to make sure you have enough items to cover the RR you will be using. The RR are actually a Mfq. If you have 3 coupons and 2 RR (2 fillers) you will be using, you will need to have 5 items. If you would have a coupon for $$$$ off of 2, you wouldn’t need as many fillers. Be sure to check the clearance area, and there are also caramels by the register that are usually $.33 You won’t be able to use the RR from the previous transaction to purchase the same products again. If you do, you will not receive the RR. I hope this helps.

    • Chrissy

      Becki,

I’m sorry, my page just refreshed. I see you have already had some help. I didn’t mean to repeat what Brandi and Kelly had already told you. Good luck!!!!

    • Don’t forget about the $20 MIR for Kraft items- one of the required items is Easy Mac. :)

    • There is also a $2 Wags coupon for the Theraflu in the new “Healthy Savings” booklet found in stores making the Theraflu a $2.00 Money Maker! :-)

    • Tina

I was able to print the $2 Theraflu coupon @ theraflu.com.

    • Maehing O

      Jenny
The link for the thera flu must be broken. You might want to look at it….. I went as far as technical support through time warner cable… by internet perovider! Thanks for all you do!

    • amy

      hi. Went to walgreens today.
used the buy25get25 promo code for photos. Got 5 sets of 50 prints for $4.75 plus tax. Bought the tylenol 8 hour bogo free at 4.49 minus 2-$2 off coupons making tylenol $.25 each. Added goodys ouchless hair product for $2.99 (rr $2). When all items totaled, I gave the 2 tylenol coupons. Then Total exceeded $25.00. Used $5.00 coupon good through Saturday. Then gave 7 register rewards tickets until total reached $3.00. Paid cash for $3.00 remaining. Total oop $3.00.
No hassels. REceived $2 rr for goodys product.

    • amy

new coupon book at entrance of walgreens with more health/medicine products such as cough syrup and cough drops.

    • joquena

there’s a colgate toothpaste coupon for $1 off one in the 8/23 ss. i don’t know if they carry that brand in the store or not, but it’s worth a shot. You rock Jenny. Thanks for sacrificing more of your time so we can spend less!!!!

    • Holly

Yet another question.. If I have 2 products, 2 RR and an in-ad coupon, will that work or do I need a filler for that?

      Thanks!

    • Yet another question.. If I have 2 products, 2 RR and an in-ad coupon, will that work or do I need a filler for that?

      Thanks!
      BTW I love your blog!

    • christine

i had a problem with my wags yesterday regarding the smart rinse deal from this past week…they wouldn’t accept my BOGO MQ + $1 MQ. I got a call from the store manager today and she said the coupon companies were considering it coupon fraud to use two MQ when a BOGO is involved. anyone else encountered this??

    • Sandra

I am glad someone out there has a walgreens they can shop at because our new walgreens in covington ga will not even let me use an internet coupon for anything.

    • kim

      Christine,

I have also been told I cannot use 2 coupons on BOGO items at Walgreens. The manager said you are only buying 1 item ( which is true)and therefore can one use 1 coupon.

    • Lindsey

Went to wags and found the Glade imotion thingy for 4.99. Had the coupon for $4 off! I don’t care for the lavender scent but oh well!

    • Michelle

I’ve just started with couponing and so far I’ve done pretty good. I’ve made some small mistakes by not reading the coupons good enough, but I think thats par for the course. I just wanted to leave some comments/observations and ask a question.

We have two brand new Wags here in my town both are less than a month old. Neither one of them have the activity book that I’ve seen mentioned. I’ve even mentioned it to a manager and he said that they didn’t have them. actually neither one even has coloring books ro activity books at all.

Another comment is that in SE KY the Thera flu isnt’ in the Wags ad.

My question is….can you use an in-ad coupon with a mfq?

      Thanks

    • Taryn

      Regarding #30 and #32

A friend and I went to WG’s together this week and both got the Smart Rinse deal. I first gave by BOGO MC, then my 1Q MC and the register beeped. The cashier manually plugged in the Q for me. My friend gave the 1Q MC first, then the BOGO MC and the register took it with no problem.

I guess the moral of this story is to use your BOGO’s last so the register will recognize your other Q.

    • Amy H

Where do you find the Kraft $20.00 mail in rebate??

    • Amy H

Never mind! Found the Kraft rebate!

    • Heather

Is there a limit on how many RR deals you can do? Like can I get (2) carefrees and get (2) RR? In different transactions?

    • Terry

The Theraflu Q worked for me, but took about 1-1/2 minutes to install and about the same to print when it was done even though I have a quick connection. I think we all might have been to quick to think it wasn’t working and clicked out of it.

    • Patty

As Walgreens is open for all to buy, you can purchase one deal one day and then come in and purchase the same deal another day or on the same day. There is no Extra Bucks Card account number on a barcode key change card like CVS or a rebate situation (Single Check Rebate) like Rite Aid where you have a name and account and purchases register to a specific customer account. I have bought one Softsoap bodywash in four separate trips during a recent promotion. You may need to change what you use the RRs on by purchasing a diff item next time or holding onto them and using them later on for a diff RR promotion deal say maybe the next week? It’s really only one RR per transaction if the stated limit is 1. So no you could not get RRs on two items if the limit shows 1 item. Think about the limit as being within one transaction but not limiting how many times you use it as singular transactions. I like to think I’m shopping for all my multiple personalities! They just like to go in and get there own stuff in different trips. ;} I wish the CVS and Rite Aid programs did not have my identity strapped to the deals. I’m nobody and have no number at Walgreens.

    • South FL

The $2 Reach RR and the Carefree $2 RR are both issued by McNeil so I would not try rolling the Reach and Carefree deals with each other.

    • South FL

Heather – There is a limit of one RR printed per offer. You have to buy them seperately to get the RR for each. You can buy a bunch of items with RR’s at the same time and get all the RR’s as long as they are different offers. Also if you use a RR to pay for the same item again you will not get another RR (you can’t use a carefree RR to pay for another carefree). Make sure you use a RR from a different manufacturer to rebuy other RR items. I try to re-roll my RR’s every week to the next.

      Here’s what I did today:

      Mens Zone razor $3.99
      Theraflu $4.99
      Carefree $1.99
      Colgate 360 toothbrush $2.99
      Reach Toothbrush $2.99
      Sunday newspaper $1.50

      Coupons used:
      – $2.00 Theraflu (IP)
      – $2.00 Theraflu (Walgreens flyer)
      – $1.00 Reach (SS 8/02)
      – $5.00 RR from last week (spend $25 get $5)
      – $4.00 RR (from previous week, I forget which offer)
      – $2.00 RR (previous Kelloggs RR)

      = $3.00 with tax OOP

      Got back $14 in RR
      $2 Carefree RR
      $4 Mens Razor RR
      $3 Theraflu RR
      $3 Colgate RR
      $2 Reach RR

    • THERAFLU FYI- If you want to make money, you can use the printable along with one walgreens coupon for $2 off theraflu. You can find it at the pharmacy they have this booklet (savings) you can get for free ask the pharmacy.

    • JJ

There is no Walgreens in my town, it’s a 20 minute drive to get to one.
This week there are so many great deals though…is Walgreens in Fayetteville GA (or in general) like CVS in that you have to be there when they open to actually get these deals? Do they give rain checks like CVS? I always go to CVS on Sundays and get all my rain checks, they never have it actually in stock.
Do you think it’s worth driving there or do they not give rain checks?

TIA if anyone knows the answer to this!

    • meg

JJ, I heard a cashier requesting a manager for a raincheck over the loudspeaker in my store the other day.

    • Elizabeth

Does anyone know, do you have to buy two items to get the BOGO price at Walgreens? Or can you buy one? Thanks!

      • Jenny

        Elizabeth,

You have to buy 2 of a B1G1 deal at any drugstore. They ring up full price and free.

    • what does the 8/o2 ect mean? Is that the wk that the coupon was in the sun paper

    • Michelle

I’m a very frustrated little shopper today. My Walgreens didn’t have the razors stocked at all (the truck comes on friday) and they didn’t have the breath right strips (out of stock). So that totally messed my planned OOP up as I had to recalculate on the spot. (that doesn’t work very well for me, it takes me a while to actually calculate.)

    • Hi there…
I am pretty darn new to all of the coupon world, but I have been following this site and loving most all that I have learned! I do have a question though… I recently went into Walgreens, with whole family in tow, and tried to run the coupons and specials that were recommended. I used a RR to purchase a Jergens special (which spit out a $5 RR on the $5.99 purchase) and I also purchased the toothpaste that was supposed to spit out a RR for the full $2.99 purchase price. When my receipt printed up it only gave me the $5 reward… does it only do one RR per transaction even if they are on two totally different specials? The manager tried telling me that you cannot use a RR to purchase ANY other RR qualifying item… which I know is not true from all of your weekly updates (it just cannot be the same special), but can you only do one at a time? Please let me know. Thanks… oh, I don’t know if this may have made a difference but I also used a $.75 off coupon for the toothpaste at the same time.

On another note… that same day, on a different transaction, I tried to use the $1 off coupon that you had recommended for the $.99 sharpie pens they had on special. That same manager said he would not honor it because it was for a penny more than the purchase price. I said that I didn’t need the penny back, but he still would not honor the coupon. Was I just at a really bad Walgreens??? I got really frustrated after that visit… what do you recommend that I do from here on out?

Thanks again and sorry for the length of these questions.

      Ms. A

    • Kathy

Had great results with Walgreen today but started out bad: The “kid” behind the register told me with a straight face that I could NOT make separate transactions of any kind- one transaction per person per day! R U kidding me??? What if I walked out and walked back in? Would he recognize me and send me back out of the store? LOL!! I got him to call the asst mgr up but he was so confused about RR’s that I gave up and left and went to another store. Just to make you laugh today : )

    • Kathy

Just left my Walgreens on Trolley Road, Summerville, SC. They have Arm & Hammer laundry detergent and dryer cloths buy one get one free. Just purchased 2 laundry detergent (50 oz each) for $6.99 and used $1 coupon from http://www.armandhammer.com/. Makes it $5.99 for 2 or $2.99 each :)

    • kristen

FYI – the coupon for 8/2 is 50 cents off one reach product, not $1…

    • Bo

How come I can never get the coupons to print through the coupon printer.exe file after I download load and I did follow the directions????

    • Corrie

I had a great trip to Walgreens today. I found 10 cent seed packets to use as filler items and all of the free items were in stock. I had almost given up on Walgreens because of several experiences in previous weeks, but they redeemed themselves today. Thanks so much for putting the deals together for us – it helps me so much!

    • Marie

Very frustrated at my first attempt at Walgreens. I had each of the transactions seperated, with the aligned coupons, and when I attempted my 2nd transaction (from the above list) I was told that my “filler” item had to be for the SAME (or more) than the applied RR. So pretty much still had to pay OOP for each of my coupon items plus use up my RR for items as fillers. What do you normally use a fillers?

Also, what is the policy on returning the items purchased? I am more than happy to return it all and hand over any RR’s that I got in the process.

    • frankie

JJ- WAGs will give RC but not like CVS. They can’t manually generate the RR. So RC will only be for sale price.

Great scenarios in OP! Really appreciate it. Thanks!

Check the Rembrandt for canker sores. Rumor that it’s clearance price in some stores so MM with RR (but will play havoc with your rolling!)

    • Debra

      Hi, Kathy #51
Sorry that you had a bad start at Walgreens, I also had a bad experience and had to go to another Walgreen store. Thankfully the second Walgreen store I went to was very helpful.

    • Debra

Has anyone ever seen any unadvertised specials at Walgreens that had register rewards and would not honor it because it wasn’t in the flyer? I came across some crest toothpaste yesterday that said 4.19 each and when you purchased 2 you would receive a 5.00 RR, the cashier would not honor it and gave me such a hassle I left the store and all my stuff in the cart and went to another store. Fortunately the second store I went to was very helpful and honored the sale item for which I explained to the assistant manager. This whole incident happened at a store in West Cola, SC.

    • Veronica

I know that Publix will take Walgreens RRs as manu. coupons but how many per transaction? Suppose I have 5 Walgreens RRs and have more than 5 items in my buggy. Will they take all 5 at the same time? Thanks!

I had -$1 off Carefree in my Sunday paper this week!

Question? I see where Walgreens has an in ad coupon for huggies diapers for 8.99, can I use a manufacturers coupon for 3.00 off and a register reward for 3.00 off? They are so particular, I’m still learning about the register rewards. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

      *** Walgreens Deal ***

Beside the register in my WG were Glade Scented Oil Tins that were, I believe $3.50 but with a $2.50 coupon on them (whatever the cost, the final price was $1.00 after coupon.)

There was a coupon a couple of weeks ago for a free refill if you buy the tin, OR you can go to Red Plum now and print the same coupon… get the tin and a refill pack (which has 3 scented oils) for $1.00.

I have a question. The Knightville WG in Summerville says you can not use MQ for items that give RR. The CORPORATE office is saying the same thing. Is anyone else running into this?
The only thing I can think of is that you can’t use a RR(which is a MQ) to get RR on the same item?
(This happened to a friend, not me, but I was thinking of going to WG today and don’t want to waste my time and gas if this is the case)

    • Misti

      Mrs A-
the mgr at my Wags will adjust the price of the product up to meet the price of the coupon-I still get the product free (except for taxes of course) but no overage allowed.

as to your other question-were the two RR’s that you expected to get issued by the same parent company? even if its “different” deals such as lotion and toothpaste, if they both were, say Unilever products(I have no idea thats just an example) then you would only get one of the RR’s in the same transaction. If you are ever unsure then just do separate transactions. also, most of the time the store employees have NO CLUE why your RR didnt print and sometimes I think they just make stuff up about why as they go!! Its quite funny if it wasnt affecting my wallet!! you absolutely CAN use a RR to purchase a RR item, other than the exception you already knew about and the one I just mentioned.

can you use publix coupons at walgreens? My cvs wont let me.

I purchased Triaminic for RRs this week. I never saw it advertised. Does anyone know if this is a month long deal?

LOOKING FOR ADVICE. I’ve been using coupons for several months and believe that I have mastered register rewards. I look at coupons as cash. The last couple of weeks I have had problems at Walgreens. I also go to the same one and usually Sunday morning before they run out of the register reward items. Sunday I was charged for 2 tubes of Rembrandt(of course I only bought 1) I misunderstood my total and swiped my giftcard. Once I got home I noticed the mistake and rushed back to Wags with bag in hand. The manager told me since my total was less than 5 dollars he couldn’t give me a credit. I could either get another tube of toothpaste or pick out $5 worth of stuff. I didn’t have any coupons with me and hate shopping without them. I chose the other tube of toothpaste. Today I found out about the 15% off and decided to go in for the glade and velvetta mm. I once again was confused at the register. Maybe I did my math wrong. When I got home I looked at the receipt and she didn’t scan the buy 1 get 1 for the velvetta. It truly isn’t worth the hastle to me to get back the dollar that they STOLE from me. A couple of weeks ago I bought the wrong item. I didn’t even leave the store and noticed that I had bought the toothpaste that wasn’t on sale. I went back and told the cashier I would like to do a refund(my mistake I bought the wrong toothpaste). Long story really short. The manager would give me a refund but not the total amount that I spent. He took the price after the coupon and then added the tax. It came out to be 10 cents less then what I had spent. So in other words they charged me 10 cents for his time to give me a refund. He wouldn’t give me back my coupon or the register reward that I had used to pay for some of the toothpaste. He told me that coupons can only be scanned once and would be unable to use them to purchase the correct toothpaste. I know that there isn’t a chip inside of the coupon or RR to make it unscannable once it’s been scanned. I was frustrated and he kept both RR and coupon. This doesn’t sound fair to me. I’m very shy and DO NOT WANT TO MAKE A SCENE, but need to know what to do so things like this won’t happen again. This Wags is very close to me. The others that I have tried I have had a hard time with getting a register reward. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how they handle their coupons when checking out at Wags. THANK YOU!

    • Sheri

I’m in Kentuckiana. They only allow you to use one RR per transaction. Don’t understand why. Right now I have 4-$5.00 RR , 2-$3.00 and 1-$1.00. I sometimes ask a nice cashier if I can have two transactions. If I don’t think the cashier will do it, then I have to go back into the store for a second transaction. It sucks… Walgreens definitely isn’t CVS. I heart CVS!!!

      Carolin,
I am sorry for your frustration.
I do believe that many stores including Walgreens make it very difficult for the average shopper to save money. However, it sounds like you are a ninja shopper. Welcome.
I do hope your next shopping experience is a better one at Walgreens.
I shop there at least a couple times per week and do not have any problems. Many times the cashier looks surprised by my total out of pocket and the numerous register rewards I receive. This just tells me that most shoppers do not put in the time and effort we do.
I am not one to make a scene. I don’t like confrontation. And I certainly would not consider it for a dollar or two. If these programs become more of a hassle they may discountinue them all together. You made a mistake by selecting the not on sale toothpaste. Just as the cashier did when the velveeta did not ring up bogo. I don’t consider this “stealing from you”. It was a simple mistake. The one thing I learned early at Walgreens, is that most on sale items or clearance items are not programmed correctly into the system. My receipt almost always has overrides included. As far as your lost rr and coupons I understand that you are disappointed however the manager is correct. The rr has a bar code that only allows it to be used once. Coupons are paid by the manuf. to Walgreens. Walgreens only gets reimbursed for the coupons submitted to manuf. The manager could have been generous and refunded the value of the rr in cash.
Remember you get more bees with honey. I have used coupons my entire life, always been a smart shopper, and bring along a smile. However, with the recent stormy economy, high unemployment, and a drop in consumer confidence, more are using coupons and shopping smarter. This is great. Yet, we must remember the difference between a smart shopper and bully. I regularly hear shoppers yelling, beligerent, and demanding with stores over pricing, sales, and coupons. This is not the best way to conduct business or oneself. I choose to continue to avoid confrontation and smile. I am taking advantage of the great deals and stocking up. Hyper-inflation maybe just around the corner.

Another suggestion is go to the cosmetic counter to check out. Most of the time, the person working this counter has more experience the general checkout counter and there is typically no line. I do this, as it allows me to follow the transaction, give my coupons and make sure everything is going smoothly without having a line of customers waiting. I typically will have a few transactions when I go. This is a great time to chat with the customer service person. I have found that I’ll come back after a few weeks and the person recognize me. When an item does not ring up at the right price, or I have selected the wrong item from the shelf, they are able to work with me to correct the challenge. When I need a filler item, I always ask if they want a candy bar or a drink. While this cost a $1, it has made a friend and someone who will help me on my next visit.

I went to Walgreens today. I bought Tide (6.49), used my $1 off coupon and got back $1. I then, in another transaction bought the carefree ultra protection liners (1.99), used my $1 off mf. coupon from the paper and the $1 RR. It would not take both coupons, why is this? I did this same thing a few months ago at CVS and it worked, are they changing their policy or something?

    • Carolin

Michael-That’s a great idea about buying the cashier a soda for your filler.

Amy-You do get more bees with honey. Thank you for explaining to me about the rr.

    • Denise

To #72: You need to have a low cost filler item, 1 coupon per item. RR are considered coupons. If you had purchased 1 filler item with the carefree liners it would have worked. Hope this helps!

    • julia

Sheena the rrs are manufacturer coupons and I have had the same problem… they only allow 1 coupon per item so you would need a filler item to use an rr and another coupon.

I have a question. The Knightville WG in Summerville says you can not use MQ for items that give RR. The CORPORATE office is saying the same thing. Is anyone else running into this?

hi, i live in CA. I haven’t heard that yet… At my Walgreens, I always seem to have difficulty. Mine told me that the RR won’t print if you but it with any RR. This was the assistant manager. Ofcourse I can, and it works, as long as it’s not the same manufacturer. Anyway, I think some stores are just getting really stingy. Each manager will run their store a certain way. I bet if you emailed walgreens, they’ll call you back and say a different thing depending who you talked to.

Does anyone else have problems shopping Walgreens. The cashier, it’s almost always the same old geiser every time I go in there, got really upset because I kept going through his line and had multiple transactions. I took my hubby with me, so that I could do the deal Jenny outlined 2x, 1x for me and 1x for him. He finally said no more, that I would have to talk to mgmt. I convinced him that I was only taking advantage of the deal once and that my hubby was only taking advantage once, so he let me finish, but with total attitude. And in the middle of all that the RR that I earned for the breathe strips wouldn’t work for the last transaction where I purchased the Theraflu. I’m guessing that it’s because they are both made by glaxo smith-kline? It’s the only thing I can think of.

I am new to this but I LOVE it!!! I spent approximately $27.00 at Walgreens today and I bought TONS of stuff. I forgot a couple of items the first trip so I did make two trips but I took advantage of that and doubled up on some of the RR Free items. Not everything was in stock (like the razor)but our Walgreens does 15% off for military families on Tuesdays and even the sale items are included.

      Here’s what I got:
      2 toothbrushes FREE
      2 toothpastes FREE
      2 deordorants for me $2.36
      3 for the boys $5.19
      2 dental flosses FREE
4 boxes of baking soda (we use all the time!!)$1.70
      3 bottles of peroxide $.85
      4 boxes of jello $1.70
      3 campbells soups $.80
      4 coffe mate creamers 1.70
      2 progresso chicken broths $.85
2 cartons of orange juice $2.61
2 1GB memory cards on clearance (1/3 of my total cost but needed)$9.00

Can I use two register rewards from the carefree pantyliners to get $4 off Tide? I already have one RR for $2 when I bought the pantyliners the other day, so if I go today and get another one, can I use them both in one transaction and will I get the $1 rr from the tide. I know I will need filler items…

    • Marie

#74, What type of low cost filler item? My Walgreens said the filler item had to match the RR cost or be more than the RR.
For example, the Thermaflu (used a $2 MFG) and then I had a RR of $2. So I grabbed a caramel (.33). She said that the 2nd item had to be atleast 2.00 worth.

    • Beth, TN

Look in store for NEW FLYER. There’s a $2.00 off Gain as well as other good ones. Remember to combine these store coupons with manufacturers coupons. Gain is on sale for $6.49 plus these the $1 RR, plus $2.00 off (store) plus there are alot of manuf coupons out there. SCORE!

    • Katie

      **Question**

Does walgreens still have the monthly specials as well as the weekly? I don’t remember what it’s called. Thanks!

    • Amy #25

What promo code did you use for the 25 for 25 prints? Am I understanding that you got all these prints for $4.75 plus tax?

    • Lauren

Does anyone know what kind of printer cartridge refills are on sale?

    • lelia

has anyone had a problem with the cashiers getting mad because you are trying to do several transactions? They make me feel like i am trying to get over on them, i am just trying to get an honest deal, makes you almost want to give up.

    • Here in Florida where I am they didn’t have the Listerine producing RR’s. ( the Reach toothbrush & floss did produce RR’s )

This is the very first time I can ever remember not being able to do one of the deals you listed.

Be sure you check your local weekly flyer so you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Jenny…you do so much work to help me with my couponing !

      Hugs,
      Lynn
