Will CVS let you use two coupons on BOGO items.

      • Tegan

        Yes!

        • Ashley

This is a YMMV situation. I can use two at one store, but not at another 5 miles away.

          • Kim

            What is YMMV??

            • http://www.southernsavers.com Amy

              Your Mileage May Vary

      • Mina

But remember that these are the advertisements for WALGREENS, not CVS.

      • Deb

The coffemate creamer deal is off the table due to the fact the there are no more prints left for the campaign. Walgreens is very disappointing. The deals are never that good and they tend to give you a hassle with coupons and RR – then when a good deal does come down the pike, they are out of stock by the middle of the first day of the sale. Also I think the same people are hitting these sales the minute the door opens and visiting multiple locations as well. Please stop hoarding and share the wealth with others. What are you going to do with 12 boxes of Tylenol or 8 boxes of Dulcolax anyway? It really makes you wonder – is this a real need or just plain greed. No wonder we can’t attain world peac

        • wendy

I agree people are greedy. what happens a lot of times is they are just buying all of these things to resell in a yard sale to make a bigger profit. I once saw it posted (don’t remember where) how much to price items they had bought at drug stores to sell at yard sales. What a shame people have to be so greedy.

          • Angela

I don’t think that people are being greedy in all cases. I know people who make their grocery money through these deals, even through the follow-up garage sales. Please don’t judge, because situations are different for different people.

      • casey

Has anyone been able to print the Enfamil printable? I have tried for months and it never works!

    • Teresa-QOCD

think I will get a couple of $10 almay make ups or almay mascara to cover some of my spending.

    • Jill

Thursday thru Saturday items are not showing up on the Print List.

      • Tara

I am having that problem too.

        • Colleen

Me too. Weird. Guess I’ll wait and try to print it again later!

          • AllieKat

Just copy and paste it to a word document if you can’t or don’t want to wait. Jenny is GREAT about getting the kinks fixed but in the meantime…I’ll just have separate lists!

      • Brandie

It’s not printing the 3 day deals for me either. Is there a trick to it?

    • libby

THe snuggies for thursday only are $9.99 and then a $2 rewards.

    • April

There is a $1.50/1 MQ on Any Command Product in the Publix Winter Family Savings book. That would be great with b1g1 sale.

      • Allison

Have you had any success using manuf. coupons from Publix booklets at other stores? Every single time I have tried, the coupons get rejected–the machines simply don’t recognize them. I’ve tried at Wags, CVS, and Target. I have decided that Publix “Manuf. coupons” only work at Publix. Please share if you have discovered otherwise. Thanks! :)

        • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

My experience has been that the q’s with a barcode that starts with a 9 beep- the ones that start with a 5 go through fine. I haven’t checked this particular q. but if the barcode starts with a 5, it should work.

          • Colleen

I had one Walgreen refuse to take a Manuf. coupon that started with a 5 but said Redeem only a Publix but I went to another one (on every corner here in Nashville!) and they took it no problem. Just did it again for the Triaminic deal when I found some more What Ache flyers hanging around my neighborhood Publix! I just don’t go to that one particular one anymore!

    • Lynne Cobb

I don’t understand some of the “deal Ideas”. For instance, the one with the 5 boxes of crackers @ $2 per box. Your deal lists seven coupons to be used for five items. Walgreens does not allow you to redeem more coupons than items puchased. Also the $10 rebate is for ten items purchased, not five. How does this senario work? Is there something I missed?

      • Charmel

You use 5 manufacture coupons and then use the walgreens coupons which can be stacked so you can use them all. And you have to do the deal 2 times (NOT using your RR to pay for the second time) and then you have 10 so you can do the rebate.

        • Lisa

Why don’t you want to use the RR to pay?? That’s mentioned a couple times and I don’t understand why.

          • Charmel

Lisa if you use the RR from Ritz to pay for a Ritz transaction it will not print another RR

      • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

Read the scenario again. This scenario uses 5 manu coupons and 2 STORE coupons. Wags policy is to allow stacking of one mq and one store coupon per item.
Then she says to repeat the deal. Use receipts from both deals to do the MIR.

        • Megan

Everytime I try to stack at Wags, I have MAJOR problems. The cashier says, you can’t do that. Do you all have any suggestions on how I should handle this?

          • Lana

Oh yeah…every time I have tried stacking coupons at Walgreens I too have MAJOR problems! Even their RR…which are supposedly like Wal-greens money…they give me grief about it too. I am pretty new to this and have only tried Wal-greens a few times…but I really have to psych myself up to even try it again. :-)

            • Ileana

I had problems with stacking also. This is when the “small filler item” comes into play. You need one item per coupon and if you are using a coupon like -$3/2 Triaminic SS 10/18, this coupon counts as two since it is of off 2. I had this coupon plus $5 RR and it was not taking it. I found a .24 filler item and it worked.

            • Tammy

pencils this week is great! 8 for a dollar, which makes great little gifts for kids….. dessert cups r $.09 wags is my all time favorite shopping spot! I always make money and it pays for my newspapers

            • Meagan

I am a Walgreens manager. And I do know their is hassle at the register. In order to use the RR and manu coupons you have to have as many items as coupons. Wags coupons do not matter as for they are store coupons. You can use 1 wags coupon and 1 manu coupon per item (including RR) If the cashier gives you grief ask to speak with a manager. If you get the same from the manager, ask for the store manager. And if you do not get what you wanted (as long as its not coupon fraud) call 1800Walgreens and report that store.

              Just a heads up.

          • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

Tell the cashier that the Walgreens coupon policy states you may use one manufacturer coupon and one Walgreend coupon per item. As long as your manufacturer coupons (including RR’s) do not outnumber your items, they should all scan. If you continue to have problems, I would ask to speak with the Store Manager, or email corporate if that doesn’t work. (emails will go back to the store manager, so go to him/her first).

            • mary

The filler items are important as mentioned above. If you are still having problems… It helps to hand the cashier the manu Q first. AFter they do ALL The manu Q’s then hand them the wags Q.

Even if you hand the Q’s with the WAGS on the bottom some cashiers do their own order. Just hold onto the WAGS Q till the end! IT usually helps in the price mix up and the beeping!

              Hope this helps.

            • http://southernsavers.com Jen

So the way I understand what you are saying is that if my number of items matches up with the number of my RR, I can still use Walgreens in-ad coupons (for the filler items, etc.) and it will go through. Is that right?

        • Lynne cobb

Where do you get the store coupon for the crackers? I don’t have any.

          • big john

diabeties book i found it near pharm and in front of store free book

    • Lynne Cobb

also, I did not find the $1 off ritz crackers printable

      • Mel

        Me either

        • Carol Waymire

Where does everyone get their duplicates of coupons? I have one from the papers that I used a while back and then a new deal called for the same coupon that came out in th epaper several weeks ago. Buying five Ritz, I could only get it to print twice. How did I get three more coupons for the other boxes? Thanks.

          • Chrissy

            Carol,

I usually buy 6 papers each week. Some others use coupon clipping sites where you can purchase the coupons you would like to use. Then you will have more of that coupon. Most coupon sites only allow you to print 2. Hope this helps.

      • Luana

I couldn’t get it to print either.

    • Michelle in Martinez

I got an email today from Walgreens for $5 off $25 Sunday and Monday only. Maybe this will be in the newspaper ad, too?

      • Bobbie

I usually get emails with the %5. off but haven’t yet. Also the one I’m printing from here does not have the number under the bar code. I don’t think I will be able to use it.

    • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

If the 85 count lotion Kleenex is included, you can use the $1/1 Wags coupon from the ealthy Savings booklets found at some stores for free Kleenex.

      • MIchelle

On some of these sites it says you can use the 1.00 off on this but it is a different number of Kleenex. This only works on the 85 count and the ones in the flier this week are I think the 80 and the 100+ count so the coupon does not work unless there is another coupon in one of the other mags.

    • Allison

in Scenario Trans #2, would you get $1 RR from the crayons, in addition to the $4.99 RR from the infusium (if you bought them on the “correct” day) ? Or am I figuring something incorrectly?

    • Vanessa

Walgreens also has vanity fair plates B1G1 starting tomorrow. Coupled with the B1G1 coupons in All You makes them free!!!

      • Tracie

Can you tell me what month All You they are in please?

        • Maxine

I think it was in the Oct issue. I know it was not the Nov that one was for $1 off. You can go to allyou.com and see if there are any on the coupon page.

          • Susan

            It was Oct. Thanks :)

    • Karissa

I cannot find the printable Red Plum (?) Neutrogena Cosmetics coupon. What zip code are you using please?

    • Karen John

FYI:-$1 off any Kellogg’s or Keebler product printable
This printable coupon is only good at SaveALot.

      Also,
If you’ve already printed the above linked Coffeemate coupon, here is another one! (Thanks Hip2Save!!)
      http://www.coffee-mate.com/seasonal/default.aspx?source=10085473

      • jennifer

thanks for another link to coffemate q! i can’t get enough of those! i also wanted to share that i found the coffeemate q’s in the 11/1 RP not SS (i’m in jacksonville, fl..so may be regional change, but just wante to share!) :)

      • Tiya

I have used the $1 off Kellogg’s printable at both Publix and Bi-Lo with no problem. It did not beep or do anything. It is a manny q.

        • Lara

Yeah – I had no problem using mine at Walgreens either.

    • Amy

For the Ritz deal, you have to work the scenario twice to get $10. The coupon in the Wags book is not for Ritz, so try Wheat Thins. I didn’t see a Triaminic coupon in the Healthy Savings Booklet.

      • LD

I noticed that about the coupon in the diabetes book that it is good on wheat thins , triscuts, snack wells and the 100 calorie packs . I have enough crackers I have been buying at publix to not need to do this deal but for free [i have other rr to roll] these will be great to donate to the food drives right now. Bet they dont get wheat thins donated to often.
On the triaminic deal the coupon is on the page that pedialite and childrens tylenol cold and flu are on in the healthy savers booklet.

        • Amy

I’m looking at the “Healthy Savings” booklet for November. Is that correct? My page with Pedialyte does not have children’s Tylenol or Triaminic on it.

          • Vanessa

The Healthy Savings book with the Triaminic coupon says “Healthy Savings to help you Stay Healthy-All Season Long” on the front. Does not have a month on it.

            • Amy

              thank you!

    • Amy

Walgreens has a store q in ad for Reynolds wrap for $0.99 and there r manu. q in 11/15 for $0.75 off makes $0.25

      • Becky

Check the detailed print on both coupons. The square feet may be different. Most Reynolds MQ’s say “excludes 25, 30, and 50 feet” or something similiar.

      • Amy D.

The WG coupon is for 20 sq feet and the MFG coupon I have says it is not valid on 20 sq feet.

    • Lisa

The Healthy Savings book has a $1 off the Oscillococcinum (on the same page as the Triaminic).

      • Sean

There is also a pdf mfc coupon at their website.

    • Jennifer

Can u get a raincheck for monthly deals? Will they give u the RRs?

      • Deb

No. You can get a r check for the item but not for the rr (ie, if the item is on sale for 199 and there is a 100 rr, your raincheck will say 199, and you can ask for a mail away rr form)

        • Jennifer

What is a mail in RR form? I’ve never heard of it. Thanks so much!

    • denielle

will walgreens take target coupons. thats the only place i can find the $1 off ritz crackers?

    • denielle

i cannot get the theraflu coupon to print?? any help??

    • Drew

The Infusium $2.00 coupon is not in my SmartSource insert today. Anyone else have that problem or did I get a “bad” paper today?

      • Joanne

I’m in Jacksonville and got the $2 Infusium coupon.

      • Joy

I’m in Mobile and I didn’t get the Infusium coupon either.

        • Krischa Pilcher

I’m in Loganville, Georgia and I did get the $2 off Infusium coupon!

      • Meegan

        It came in Raleigh, NC.

    • Carrie

The Crayola deal and the Dove deoderant are not in my ad and did not have any sale stickers on them in the store. Are there different RR in different regions?

      • Jenny

Those deals will start this Thursday.

        • Carrie

          Thanks

    • kc

anyone able to print off a $1/1 nabisco coupon? i desperately need some crackers -and would love to do this deal? i only have the $1/2 which is ok-but obviously 1 for 1 is better!
      :) thanks!

    • Courtney

i cannot get the theraflu or triaminic to print. also, can’t get the $1 ritz Q. any help/suggestions?

      • Courtney

nm. finally got the triaminic and theraflu to print. found $1/1 nabisco Q’s, will be doing this deal x2!!!!

        • robyn

WHERE did you find a $1/1 q for nabisco. i would LOVE to have that. been searching everywhere. thanks

    • Sean

I saw Vanity Fair plates or bowls BOGO in the ad. Wouldn’t that make two free using the BOGO coupon from the October All You magazine?

      • Sean

Oops. Beat to this post. Maybe I should read first, huh.

    • Sean

For those with a Sweetbay around. I’ve been using the Publix -$1 Slim Fast coupon with the -$1.50 peelie at Sweetbay for low carb shakes. When I would, I would get catalinas for -$2 on Kelloggs protein shakes. They are manufacturer coupons and would work nicely for the RR deal here.

      • Dana

I have a Sweetbay but don’t go there often (except to get the Marcal free paper products! ). Do they accept competitor coupons? Thanks!

    • Lisa

How can you get these Walgreens booklets that are listed everywhere? I don’t see any coupon booklets at the front of the store so do you have to ask for these different booklets?

      • Vanessa

All of the booklets at my store are in the pharmacy area. Not sure why, but if you don’t know where to look you would completely miss them. They are on the inside of the pharmacy on partition between main store and pharmacy.

    • denielle

ok so i am trying really hard to do this right, but i can never seem to find all of the coupons. the theraflu and triaminic deal ideas say that there are $2 off in store coupons. i can not find them in the circular or the November book?? where are they??

      thanks for you help!!
      denielle

      • erin

That coupon is in the healthy savings book if that helps..

    • Lisa R

Questions? I’m new at this. I am trying to find out a couple of things before I try another Walgreen’s trip. Last week I went and was told you do not get RR if you use a coupon for the item. Someone on here replied and said you do.
If an item has RR and you buy two do you get double the RR?
If you buy two different items that has RR do you get both RR or how does that work?
      Thanks for any help

      • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

You may want to go read Jenny’s “Starting out” page. It has all the anwswers you are looking for.

RR’s are LIMIT ONE. If you buy two rr-producing deals in the same transaction, only one will print.
If you buy one deal and then turn around and use the rr that printed on THE SAME DEAL- it will NOT print an rr. But if you use a different rr, it will print fine. But you can’t use an rr from a deal to purchase the same deal.
You can purchase as many different deals in one transaction as you want and all rr’s will print.

        • Lisa R

          Thanks.
Do somethings that have rr not work if you use a coupon? If so how do you know what will work? I went last week and got 1 Soleil Razor used $2.00 coupon and they had Scotch tape 39 cents with Walgreen’s coupon I got 3. The cashier said I should have gotten the $3.00 rr for the razor. She called the manager and he said you do not get rr if you use a coupon.

          • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

The manager is misinformed. It does not matter if you use coupons- you should still get a rr if you bought the correct item. Call/contact Catalina and they should reimburse you if it didn’t print for some reason.

    • Rachel

I’m confused about how Walgreens works. Can someone help me?? On Saturday, I went and purchased (6) 100 ct One-a-day vitamins at $6.99 each along with a small 65 cent filler item (halloween candy). I used (2) $2 off one-a-day coupons, and (1) $1 off one-a-day coupons and a $1 RR from the Ricola cough drops. The advertised deal was spend $20 or more on One-a-day and get $5 RR. Before coupons, I spent $20.97. The $5 RR did not print and I asked them for it. They said that I didn’t get the RR because I used coupons. Is that how it is supposed to work? What should I have done?

      • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

If you purchased the correct items and the proper amount, the use of coupons will not affect the rr printing. Contact catalina and ask them about it. It’s possible the catalina machine was off-line or something.

    • LeeAnn

Now that I’ve kinda gotten the CVS thing down, I thought I would give Walgreens a shot. Do you have to have a special discount card?

      • gjn

Walgreens does not have a card.

        • MIchelle

Funny! I am the exact opposite! I have mastered Wags and I am afraid to touch CVS as it just seems to limited with a fixed number of deals etc.

          • Vanessa

I mastered Walgreens first too, and then started learning CVS. I must say CVS is sooooo much better. It is so much easier, the people are so much nicer, and they all seem to know how to work the register better. In the morning I am buying the free items, then there great deals immediately so I don’t have rolling rrs. I can’t stand Walgreens anymore. I only go in now for really, really good deals, free things or money makers.

            • Amy

              Vanessa, I agree.

    • Kat

I went to Walgreens today to buy the theraflu and the triaminic. The computer rang the Walgreens coupons as manufacture coupons and would not work. Is anyone else having this problem? I got the coupons from the right book, but I was told that I could not use both.

      • Monique

What book did you get from? I can’t find the right coupons. The healthy savings booklet I have doesn’t have it and the Diabetes one has a theraflu but for the 12pk which is not on sale.

        • Vanessa

I think the diabeties booklet coupon is a manufacturer coupon. The coupons you are looking for are both in the “Healthy Savings to help you Stay Healthy-All Season Long” booklet. Someone above said they had a November issue of this. I don’t have that, but that is the wrong one if you do.

    • LeeAnn

I took Jenny’s Grand Plan & tweeked it for me. Let me know if this looks doable. Mainly the right amount of items/coupons. Thanks!

I haven’t read all the details, but double-check your numbers. If an item is advertised to print a $2.49rr, it will actually print a $2.50rr. That might throw you off since the amount of your coupons canNOT exceed your subtotal.

        HTH

      • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

        For example, this”
        Trans #2
        Buy:
        1 Infusium 23 $4.99 $4.99
        1 Crayons $1.99 $1.00

        -$3.99 RR $(3.99) <— will actually be a $4rr

        Total Spent $0.99

…Won’t work because you’re spending $5.99 before tax, then subtracting a $2 coupon and a $4rr. That’s $6. You’ll need a small cheap item to cover the penny difference.

        • Jenny

It is a little confusing with the $1 off to the side that she put but total she has
          $4.99 +
          $1.99= $6.98
          – $4
          -$2 = Total 98 cents due.

          Get Back: $5.99 RR ( $4.99, $1)

          Should work.

    • Sindy

Yesterday I went into my local Walgreens there was a sign up saying all 9.99 toys were 4.99, so I chose 10 items, at the cash register they all rang up at 9.99, I said to the cashier that the sign says 4.99, he looked in the flyer nothing there, looked on another sheet nothing there, called the manager over, I pointed at the sign as it was clearly within sight on the wall, manager said manually override the price……….. he also looked through the flyer, the sheet….
As I paid and left, I only went in to buy my papers…. he took the sign down, WHY do they make you feel like you have cheated them and secondly it was obviously a mistake on their part, but they had to honour as (or maybe I was lucky that he honoured the sale sign) the sign was put up too early, the sale on the toys starts on thursday.
      I just got lucky I guess…

    • Holly

I am new to shopping at Walgreens because I always thought it was too expensive. I thought about going and giving it a try today. Do they always let you do two or three different transactions if you ask them to?

      • http://southernsavers debra

You can do 10 transactions if you want to. They can’t tell you no. It’s a matter of if you want to hold up the checkout line!

      • Vanessa

Both Walgreens by my house will not let you do more than one transaction at a time. (Even if no one else is in line.) If you find a cashier that will let you, they complain about it. Why can’t they just smile…like at CVS and Rite Aid!!!!

    • robyn

the dove says no prints for this campaign. anybody else??

    • sara

I usually do not shop at Walgreens but, I may try this week. Are RR’s like CVS bucks? Can someone give me a quick definition of these? Do you have to have a card like you do at CVS?

      • sara

nevermind. I am finding my answers on here…who would have thought? LOL!!

      • becky

Walgreens would not let me use a manufacture coupon and then pay with a reward. I thought rewards could be used like the care buck at CVS.

        • Vanessa

Sorta, read the explanation about number of coupons and number of items above.

    • Shaunda

Hello. Just wanted to share my experience at Walgreens this afternoon. I went in and bought a few items and also got the BOGO Coffee-mate. I gave them 2 of the printable coupons for the Coccee-Mate and the register beeped. We checked that I had the right size and the expiration date. Tried to scan again and it beeped again. Called the manager. One lady came and took the coupons to the back office. When she came out she had another manager with her. The other manager now had the coupons in her hand. She walked up to me and said they could not accept the coupons because I had copied them. I told her I was insulted and that I had not copied the coupons. The coupons have two different bar code numbers and a little mark behind the SAVE $1.00. She didn’t even look at them again. She handed them to me and said they would not be able to accept them as corporate has alerted them to two types of coupons that are copies and mine was one of them that was mentioned. Again, I was insulted. I took her name and contacted corporate. I have never copied a coupon. I was so embarrassed and made to feel like I was doing wrong. If I could have it my way I would like a public apology from both managers. It’s not about the $2.00 that I would have saved. It’s about the fact that I am an honest person that was made to feel like I was doing some thing wrong. I have had minor problems with coupons at Walgreens in the past. If Walgreens doesn’t like people using coupons they should stop accepting them. Ugh!!!

      • http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com BrandyK

*sigh* another situation of the managers/staff being clueless about their own registers.
BOGO situations will vary. Sometimes the items will ring up as $2.79 and $0 and sometimes they might ring up as $2 and $.79 or something. If it rings up as full price and 0, then the second coupon will beep bc the second item has no price.
If both items ring up a value, both coupons will work fine.

EVEN IF you had copied your coupons and were passing off fraudulent coupons, if the items had rang up with each having a value, the register would not have known they were copied and they would have gine through fine.

        *sigh*

I’m so sorry. I hope corporate contacts you regarding the way you were treated. I would insist the staff at that store be educated about coupons. They obviously are clueless since they couldn’t see OBVIOUSLY that each coupon had an individual pin number.

      • Karen

        Hi Shaunda,
        I know how you feel!
I went to Walgreens a few days ago (summerville,sc) and had the rude cashier who always rolls her eye about the coupons. She doesnt want to be bother so she will just say no to anything that doesnt ring up right. I have nicely explained how to do the coupons, then they work and she gets mad.

It seems you cant use a $5/$20 or any $ off coupon until after all coupons have been taken off, which i have done many times.

She “forgot” to give me my RR. I have read that others have had problems with the cashiers taking thier RR.

        HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

      • Sam

Shaunda, I’ve had the same problem twice already. 1st time it was because the employees put in the wrong paper in the catalina and when I went to use them at a different Walgreens, the cashier and the manager both accused me of making copies. I complained to corporate saying I was insulted and all they said was to contact the store I got it from to get it corrected and that I didn’t need to bother corporate. I only contacted them because I had a feeling this wouldn’t get corrected the right way. The store manager called and said to come in whenever. I went and only the assistant store manger was on duty and didn’t know how to fix it. He said come back later when the manager is in, or buy now and they’ll take them. I asked him about store credit of walgreens gift card, and he said if I put it on a gift card I’m going to get fired. So, he scanned a bunch of random items until the value equalled the RR’s I had ($22.50) and voided the sales. That to me would seem just as bad because now the wrong manufacturer’s are having to reimburse walgreens. Anyway, he couldn’t count and my $8’s and $5’s turned into several $1’s which meant I’d have to pick up more items per RR I use later! That made me mad. So now I check the type of paper I get and caught it one other time already.
The second time was for the Bayer deal, buy $20 and get $5 back. I was just trying to roll some RR’s because I had over $80 to spend last week. The deal wouldn’t print so she said it was because I used coupons. I told her no because I used a coupon on the Ricola and that RR printed. Then she accused me of photocopying my Alka-Seltzer coupons because I had printed 3 of them online. I explained to her that each one had their own unique ID and she wouldn’t even look at them. Then she told me I had purchased the wrong items. I took whatever was labelled on the shelves and she said it had to be the exact ones pictured in the ads. So I said fine and we got them and it still didn’t print even without any coupons. Then she muttered, I hate coupons and walked away. The cashier, who was super nice and was extremely educated on coupons and how it all worked, had to page her back, the manager said she would void out the sale and only sell me the other items. I was trying to use up all my RR’s and had it calculated exactly with the Bayer deal so I said, forget it, give me my coupons back and left. I’m not going back to that Walgreens for a while. I figure it’s not worth complaining to corporate anymore. After super couponing at Walgreens for over 10 years now, I think I’m ready to give them up…unless they go back to rebates on gift cards with 10% bonuses…

    • http://southernsaver emmasantos

I will never get this coupon thing. website states coupons what week. I go to my coupons and I don’t have them at all. I wanted to hit black friday sale. but can’t don’t have any of the coupons in my SS or RP.

    • Jenna

I just called my 24 hour Walgreens to see when the Thursday deals start and they said they won’t be having any Thursday deals but the Black Friday deals start at 7am on Friday. Does anyone know whether some Walgreens are not participating in the three day sale listed above and are only doing a Friday sale? Or did the person I talk to just not know about it yet?

      • Millie

I was told by a Walgreen’s employee in Belmont, NC, on Wednesday night that the 3-day pricing would kick in at 12 am Thursday. So I stayed up … Bad move. None of the RRs are printing at this time, and management had no idea when they would start. I managed to get a refund on all items, but I lost significant coupons (they couldn’t retrieve them) and 3RR. I am not a happy shopper at this time, and Walgreen’s has some making up to do!

      • Amy

I didn’t receive any special Thursday deal ad either (Houston, TX).

    • Rebecca

Can someone tell me if the best way to use RR is to do the deal scenarios or can you buy everything in one transaction and get all your register rewards for those items at once? HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

      • Jenny

You can buy it alll at once if you want but you will spend probably $50 or so and then have $50 or so to turn around and use.

    • Lisa

The Johnson’s Q wasn’t in my SS paper and the link says there are no more Q’s. Is there any other place I can get a $1 off coupon?

    • lynn

I went in a walgreen’s i haven’t been in before. They had certain shades of the Almay Pure Blends Foundation on clearance for $3.59 and I thought “hot dog! a money maker.” They were only 4 of them, so I told the cashier that I wanted them rung up in seperate transactions. He said that I could only do 2 transactions. So, I just did the 2 transactions. I was distracted with a fussy baby, and he put my receipts in my bags. When I got home, I didn’t get my register rewards! Is there anything I can do? I was thinking that If I can’t somehow get my register rewards, then I’ll just return the items.

      • lynn

Or is it possible the register rewards don’t print for clearance items? But, then again, a few weeks ago, the Bic Soleil were on clearance and I still got the register rewards…

    • Nelanie

Went into Wal-Green’s this morning…spent $8.45 and walked out with $10.50 in RR. Thank you Jenny for teaching me how to save money. Got all stuff “free” and made a profit on a couple of items. Happy Thanksgiving!!

    • LeeAnn

Just got back from my first Walgreens trip (post-Southern Savers!!) Went pretty smoothly, other than hardly any of the sale items (esp the week long items) were marked. I’ll know to take my own sale flyer next time!!! Had a very helpful manager & cashier that answered all my questions. Ended up with $86.39 worth of stuff for $18.63. My mom was with me and threw in some things that weren’t on sale or it would have been better:) Happy Thanksgiving All!!!!

    • Carol

I went to my local Wags this morning and got most of the free items *but* interestingly enough they had put a limit of 1 on each freebie…they stated since it was a 3 day sale it was to keep more stock on the shelf…hmmmm i thought, but okay and I proceeded to get 1 of each deal..I left and went to another Wags further up the road and lo and behold NO LIMITS….ya know the variations drive me crazy…However I did do several deals at this location and got everything I wanted and no whacky situations developed….BTW Babyphat Fabulousity Perfume which is normally around 35.00+ is on sale for 75% off so its ringing up at 9.00 and change…I got 2 of those with RR…My girls and sister are going to love their gift baskets this year

    • amm6300

Went to Walgreens for the Infusium deal I bought 2 Infusiums and a piece of candy. I used 2 manuf. qs. and a RR. The macince only printed out 1 – $5 RR. I thought I would get 2 – $5 RRs. Should I have bought them together? Will it not print both RRs in the same transaction?

the RR’s are only one per deal. you would have had to ring up the infusiums in 2 seperate trans. to get 2 RR’s.

I tried the RR program at Walgreens on Hwy 31 in Hoover, AL for the first time today. I was hesitant after reading all the negative comments about Walgreens. When I went to the register for my third transaction, the cashier told me that was the last transaction I would be allowed today. He said it was store policy. Really? I’m only allowed to spend money three times a day? I had spent almost $20 cash plus my RR’s. I politely left with $12.50 in RR I was not allowed to use. I will go back and buy non-RR items to use up my RR’s but will shop at Rite Aid and CVS in the future.

I went to Wags today and tried to use the $1 off 2 scotch mailers coupon. It clearly says Manufacturer coupon on top but in the bottom right it says redeem at Publix. The cashier didn’t even try to scan it and asked a manager who said said it was a Publix coupon and I couldn’t use it. After debating with her, I left all my merchandise and walked out. Is there a policy on this I can print or should I just look for another store to shop?

My Walgreens took the Publix coupon with no problem although they would not let me use all of my RR’s in one day (see note above).

Thanks Jenny! I just started using coupons and RR at Walgreens. Thanksgiving morning I was able to get: Dove deodorant,Vaseline lotion, and a 12 pack of Cottonelle toilet paper (along with a couple of Christmas bags and pens for fillers) for .89! It was the first time I did more than one transaction and the cashier was very nice and helpful.
