    • dannysangel

I just bought the Kodak camera for $79 and I love it so it is a steal @ $59..

    • Caroline

Does anyone know if the Black Friday deals are good online as well? Or do you have to go to the store? I'll be at my in-laws and the closest Wal-mart is 45 minutes away. I don't want to have to drive all the way there to find that they no longer have the printer I want…

      • blackfridaady

        in store only.

      • Jaadin2

Last year alot of the items were on the website, but you have to be quick :)

    • Groundhog274

    • becca

my advice about the kodak camera ..from last years expereince..make sure u get in the right line..they hand them out to people and have specific check out lanes designated for them sometimes so you can just get what you have checked out. its a fun time:)

    • Dollfanchick06

      Is this in store only?

    • Momof4

Looks like some great deals. Too bad no 5 hour energy to keep you awake!!!

    • Just a note: The same HP laptop is priced about the same at Staples, too – so if you have Staples rewards, they can help pay for it, and bring the OOP down. I'm thinking of doing it…

    • MK

Bought a bunch of the disney sleepwear sets last year. They were $3 and fleece. Love them!!! My boys are wearing them this winter. If it's the same things I recommend them. They are excellent quality. Plan to buy more for next year.

Oh yeah and the Shark Steam Mop : )

      • Gunter00

I got the Shark steam mop and wasn't too thrilled about it. Hope your's works better.

        • Shawnhhurst

I don't like mine either. Not worth the money.

          • Brandi

i agree, mine broke before i had even had it for a year.

    • Abc79teach

Just a suggestion…if you are going after the laptop you may want to go on Thanksgiving day and wait until the sale starts on Friday. My husband and I went last year and got one but we were there at 6:00pm on Thanksgiving day and the line had already filled. They only had 14 laptops in the store and we were number 12 and 13 in line to get one. Last year they were eMachines for $198 and they are great laptops for the price. We waited all night in the same line but I think it was worth it…

      • WynetteC

Wow, that is a good price for an e machine! We have one that was purchased solely for my daughter's schooling in Aug this year. My husband found it online for maybe $275 or so. I feel it was worth the price. It's amazing how fast it turns on and is ready to go, windows 7 I think.

    • Sally

I looked on Blackfriday.com and they had the Kodak camera (the one that comes in blue and green) as 12 MP and $69 for the bundle. Is it really 14 MP and $59? I just might have to go real early!

Just a little warning for those of you who plan on going to Wal-Mart for a 5am item…. my husband is a manager at Wal-Mart and said that at our store they will be handing out arm bands for the 5am items around 2am…. you can only get a band for one item, but you can get multiples (up to the limit) of that item. He wasn't sure if this was something all stores were doing or locally, but if there is something you really want it wouldn't hurt to call the store and ask if this is something they're doing also.

      • Jacketfan24

I work at a Walmart also, and it is a company directive to have lines for many items where they give out vouchers. It is so people don't fight over the items so no one gets hurt! Much better than years ago when they just stuck it out at 5am and let everyone battle over the items! I think the items with the lines are the TVs, computers, gaming systems, blue ray player, and the tom tom…most everything else will be at the customer's discretion. Hope that helps anyone wanting to purchase the items!

      • Abc749teach

So if I am going for a tv I can only get a tv wristband or can I get a tv band and a bike band?

    • CMT

Please be aware that some of the items at Walmart will be going on sale at midnight!! So, please check in the ad and see which ones those are!!

    • Hjemerson2

We go to WM every Black friday for the past 15 yr .LOVE IT we split up 3 of us (daughter husband and I (Leave son inlaw home witht he kids!) Yes made sure you get in line ealy some time it best if you go a mid nigh and start the line ! Have someone that not in the line be a runner for to get snack etc or take your place is you have to go to the bathroom (Like a teen ager) I take a book and just sit my self down! Also tip about the PJ I brough for the past 5 yr they run 2 saze small I alway tell evry one if you want a 4 buy a 6 I buy for 4 grand kids and have learn the hard way, they just run small ! but are a great deal!!

    • Shelley_ogburn

I've never black friday'd before at Walmart, but really want an $88 Jeep, which goes on sale at Midnight. What should be my scenario. Do they close the doors before midnight or something or should I arrive at Walmart at like 9 or 10 that night to get the Jeep?

      • Michelle

I haven't looked at the Jeep they have for sale, but make sure it's worth it-we'd considered that last year but figured out before I went that my kiddo would outgrow it in about 1 year so spending the extra $100 was worth it so it would last about 3-4 years. In answer to your question, my Walmart doesn't close…you can go in there whenever but you can't touch the deals until they say so…have to stand back, not crowd up to the deals in the middle of the aisle; usually the toys are ok (no line) so you could get there 15-30 mins before, even for the jeep…there's a line for the electronics though (unless they've changed it for this year). Then be prepared cause when they say go…everyone jumps and it's all on then!

        • Shelley_ogburn

Thanks so much. I have a 3yr old and a 1 yr old and hoping to have another child in the near future. So, as long as it seats 2 at a time, which it looks like it does in the ad, I think that it will be a good deal. I heard they hide deals in weird places…if that's the case the actual jeep could be somewhere else besides the toy aisle?

          • Jennifer M

Usually they hand out maps as you walk in that tell you where everything is placed in the store. At least that's what they do here in Asheboro and down at Myrtle Beach!

            • Shelley_ogburn

Thanks again…I'm here in Florence…not too far from you. I hope I can get one…that would make my weekend!

            • Grlgrl1128

I know that the florence Walmart last year had the jeeps in the garden center … they didn't hand out any maps and NO one knew Where anything was!! Very confusing!!!

          • Jenniferstitcher

I think the Jeeps they have advertised are the 1 seaters, since they only go up to 6V, In our past experiences with buying these toys the 12V are the ones that seat 2 children. On the other hand, if you have 2 children now, it may be worth it to buy 2 at $88 each. I think the 2 seaters are almost $300.

      • jrun

last year was my first year and they totally put stuff where it usually wouldn't be and had it tarped so you couldn't see what it was until 6 a.m. Not sure if this is the same everywhere?..

        • BrokeStudent

There are maps you can access thru the website ads for each store on walmart.com that show where the items are going to be in that particular store (at least for some of the biggest doorbuster items). From the maps of our area stores, it looks like they’re putting the biggest most popular items at the front of the food/grocery sections.

    • tori729

Bummer that they're in store only. Last year I was able to get a $20 HP AIO printer online and not have to set foot in the store!

    • WLTAB

FYI! Walmart is in mass confusion because there are items advertised that are not going to be in stock!!! a new Black Friday add may be released next week. Managers are flipping out because some of them have not even seen the add yet and are totally cofused over what items go out at midnight and what to release at 5 AM. Found this out through a very trust worthy electronics vendor who is receiving and stocking ALOT of the items! :(

    • Nancybgood14

how about the sony reader for 99 is that a good price.

    • Nancybgood14

is there a place to look on line for the monday online deals preview?

    • Tinadr

FYI, For the 2009 Black Friday, the Walmart in Anderson, SC let us get things early to avoid all the rush. BUT they did not advertise that they were doing it. Most of the sale items were long gone before 5am! I was lucky and had gotten there early!

    • Ctcjsbag5

You mention above that there will be a $50 gift card when you buy a Ninetendo Wii for $199 and that it goes on sale at 12:01 am on the 26th! This is not in the ad so I was wondering where you found out this information? Trying to get all my ads in order to do my shopping! Thanks for all you do!

      • Adrian

I was wondering the same thing, I can't find it in the ad either. I'm trying to figure out which Wii it is…… is it the “new bundle” with Sports Resort or just the regular Wii? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    • Karen

FYI – last year I went to get an I touch for my daughter. Of course, none to be found. But my WONDERFUL cashier suggested I go to customer service, just to double check and make sure someone hadn't decided against purchasing one and it had been returned to CS……LOW AND BEHOLD, there it was. WOO HOO. I would've never thought of this on my own, but will always check CS from now on.

      Good luck all you shoppers.

    • Ashleyscoupons73

The Walmart Black Friday Ad was in my paper this week. I've never seen them send it out the Sunday before. Is that unusual? Nobody else had there BF Ads in this weeks paper.

    • katie

Ok, so all the deals I want are going on sale at 12:01. Does this mean these will be on the shelf, and I can grab them before 12:01 and then just wait to check out? Anyones input would be great. Thanks!

      • sc susie

Last year the deals were removed from the regular shelf location, places on a pallet or aisle displey, and wrapped in black plastic in the aisles until midnight or 5:00 AM as stated. That's how they were able to put out a “map” of the deal locations in the stores.

    • Diane

I would like to get the Jeep or the 3-wheeled scooter that goes on sale at midnite. The webiste says that they will also be avialable online at midnite. But how can I find out if they will ofer free site to store shipping for these? I dont want to sit at home on the computer, only to find out that I will have to pay $30 for shipping. If that's the case, I would rather fight the crowd at the store.
