walmart ad match

Walmart has launched their Christmas Ad Match policy for the holiday season!

If you buy an item in Walmart and then find a better price between now and December 24th they will match the deal.  Keep your receipts and head to customer service with a local competitor’s printed ad.  They will give you a store gift card with the difference on it.

Heads up this is not valid on Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday ads.  They will only price match printed ads, no online deals (that’s where Target comes in).

So, if you find a loaf of bread for $.05 less in another stores ad two weeks after you bought the same loaf of bread at Walmart, they will give you the $.05 on a gift card??

What about if you see something that Walmart is going to offer on Black Friday that they already have in stock…can you go ahead and purchase it and then turn around and get the difference on a gift card? Just wondering since you know how wild the stores can get and want to make sure we get the item(s) that we want that they may already have in stock but just at a much higher price currently. How much time do you have to get the price difference do you know? For like Black Friday prices? Oh and it says “in store” what if it is not in stock but you have it shipped to store does that not count? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks a bunch!
