      Will this work for homeschooling?

      • Christine Bingler

I am wondering that, too! I looked all over, but I didn’t see anything specifically that excludes homeschooling. I know that I can get teacher discounts by showing the card I get from my accountability group most places that offer teacher discounts (Staples, Michael’s, etc.). Also, in SC, since we homeschoolers register as private schools, there isn’t any legal reason why we can’t be considered teachers. But we’ll see what WalMart does with this deal… (right now it just says to register your receipt with walmart.com/teachers, which just takes you back to the information page, so it may have something on there that excludes homeschooling later and they just aren’t saying that yet.)

Their site is live now. https://www.wmteacherrewards.com/loyalty/home.action?s=0&campaign=1092

And according to their official FB page, home educators are included. They suggest you enter “homeschool” when asked for your school. I just entered our school name.
