I printed off the $1.00 Scotch Brite coupons from the link and they would not let me use them at Wal-Mart. They said there were no codes like what smartsource has when they are printed out.I guess I will try them at Target or Kroger.

      • Amber

I just used this coupon today on an $0.84 scrubber and it scanned with no problem! You just may have had a grumpy cashier. :/

    • If you use the Athenos coupon to get 2 packages of hummus, they have a pull off coupon for free Athenos yogurt.

    • CE

Has anyone had any luck with Birmingham area Walmarts taking printed coupons? The last time I tried was a few months ago (in Hueytown and Montclair Rd) and both said they don't take printed coupons- very frustrating.

      • lynn

I have been to Gardendale's Walmart and they took my printed coupons

      • Jennifer

I recently had luck at the Calera and Chelsea Wal-Marts with them taking them.

      • Sean

At the top right of this page is the Wal-Mart coupon policy. It specifically states that they take internet coupons. If there is a problem, call corporate.

      • softballmom

I am in Childersburg and I know that the walmart in Sylacauga accepts them or at least they did a few months ago. That may have changed now since it has been a while since I shopped at Walmart.

      • Stephanie in Bham

The occasional time I use coupons at WM, I have used IP at Inverness on Hwy 280 as well as Chelsea on Hwy 280

      • Jd

no luck for me in Hueytown or Academy Driive..ugh.

      • Toifrogs

I have used them many times at the Hoover WM on 150, but they are SOOOOO rude sometimes. I avoid that store if at all possible. One lady told me that she couldn't take a $5 off coupon recently. They only had 3 registers open, and the line was very long. I told her that she had a choice, call a manager and make it happen or dig through all my bags and find the 12 SmartOnes that went with that coupon. She continued to just stand there staring at me, so I stared back. LOL. She finally gave in and keyed it in, taking $9 off because she was so incompetent. Good luck if you go there!

        • sealey5

Isn't that just stupid, lol it sounds like something I would've done :)

      • Howdy

Alabaster took them last time I tried ( a couple of weeks ago)

    • Jennifer

Was anyone able to find the Quaker oatmeal coupon. If so, what zip did you use? Thanks!

      • sharon60

I've been trying to find one of those for a week now and no luck so far.

        • Nwolfe_136

I too can't get the oatmeal one…we eat it by the buckets!

    • Meljunkmail

Does anyone have problems with Walmart accepting computer printed coupons?

      • TracyH82

Yes I'm in Columbia SC and the Walmart here on Two Notch Rd would not accept any of my printed coupons. Said their system wasn't able to take them…. ???

        • kaseyshadow

The one on Bush River near Dutch Square took them I think. I'm pretty sure that's the one I was at. I only shop at that one and the one on hwy 6 so it had to be. I feel sorry for the cashiers at Wal-Mart. They all aren't given the training they need and many feel they have to make something up instead of calling a manager or saying I don't know. The store on Augusta Highway did that to my mom with the Christmas Clearance. He said he didn't care if it was supposed to be 75% off he had to charge her what it rang up.

          • pharmacy tech

Actually, cashiers go through rigorous computer based learning modules at Walmart.. I work in the pharmacy so I didn't have to take all of them- but only taking some of them made it very clear about policies. The problem lies in attitudes and laziness– Walmart doesn't have a clue about some of their front runners sometime, but since cashiers are the face of the store, it's worth the time to call 1800walmart to complain (or compliment!)…. especially if you get someone who is purely awful! I work there, and I do it (although— it's my meal-ticket so it means a lot more to me than some!).

            • loyal walmart associate

I work for Walmart also, and they do take IP coupons. If a store gives you a hard time, call the 1-800-walmart and complain! It sends a letter directly to the store manager, and they have to respond to the issue. My store manager knows that I use coupons and buy many of my groceries at Publix, and I have told him why! However, I still support Walmart as a company and will still go there for any items that aren't on sale rather than pay a higher price elsewhere. Each store does have different pricing depending on the competitors in their area; each store may also comp other local stores when a neighboring store hasn't done that. The store I work in is very agressive with competitive pricing, and my store manager is all about customer service, and I have to say that the front end of the store is one of the best I have ever seen. I have worked in several.

          • Mlbam6

It's not about training. They just don't care!

        • HeatherC

I was just at the location on Two Notch yesterday, and they took all of my internet coupons without a problem. I guess it just depends on which cashier you get and the mood he/she happens to be in when you are there.

        • Monica

Did they even try to scan them?

      • jkone

Im in Easley SC and I also had a problem..my letter is being sent to Corporate tomorrow! On the bottom of my receipt..it clearly state they take internet coupons.

        • Nurzingismylife

I also live in Easley SC I took my coupons in on Sat had a wonderful cashier who took all my coupons even he one getting the stuff for free dental floss and Tide guess it just depends on ur cashier she just fixed it when the cash register beeped

      • Aims

        No problem here in Macclenny,FL

    • Jrcouponator

Has anyone found the Good Life Cat Food for 79 cents? Nothing at my Wal-Mart even close.

    • Pam

my walmart in Savannah (wilmington island) will not take printable coupons…

      • Chiefsangeleyes

They take them for me, but I've had to pitch a fit about it many times

      • Kaseyshadow

There coupon policy says they will. I'd take a copy of it. However, just thinking about having to shop at walmart raises my blood pressure. I have found that since I started following Southern savers I can find most everything I thought was a deal at walmart on sale cheaper elsewhere and that makes me a much happier shopper. Seriously, it is in their policy so I'd plan on calling the manager out and showing it to them.

      • Susangoff

Mine in new orleans won't take them. I told them that it was a corporate policy and showed them the paper. They argued that each store can take them or not at their own discrestion and due to too many fraudulent internet coupons, they won't take them……none of them around here will. I hate wal mart!!

    • Jackzan

I always use the printable coupons at the u-scanner. They have worked fine in Charlestn, SC so far.

    • jkone

Has anyone found the Gillette Fusion razors for $4.50? They were like $9.00 in our walmart.

      • Go to Wags. $9.99 plus $4 coupon. Get $5 in RRs. If you don't have a Wags, CVS runs similar sales from time to time. I don't have a Rite-Aid, so I don't keep up with them.

      • Veganpadua

Found them on clearance at publix for 4.50. I

      • Ivajean

My Walmart has the expensive ones also, but in a bin below the expensive ones, are Gillette Fusions which are around 5.97.

    • Mlyons2279

walmart has scrubbing bubbles powersprayer cleaning stuff for 6.97.. there was a $5.00 off coupon in this weeks paper.. makes it only 1.97.. it is a really great cleaner!

      • sealey5

I got this at Target Saturday for $5.97 on clearance, so it made it $1 with the q. But there are some decent deals at Wal-mart too (as long as you go to the right cashier!) I bought some of the Maruchan Yakisoba meals (5) and got back a dime! Yes, this is the first time ever that Wal-mart has actually paid me in cash! :) Which I get cash back at Publix all the time, so it was a biggie for me, lol

    • Michelle

My Walmart in Columbus, MS takes printed coupons no problem- thanks for posting this- grocery prices are high here, so the coupons really help!

    • ashley e

      does walmart double?

    • Jo R

Interesting -there are a ton of good or free deals at Wal-Mart. However it seems like most of us can't use printables!

      • adiesmom

My walmart did that once to me…so I printed out there coupon rules (off the site) and keep it in my purse to show them. I've had no problems after that….

    • Linzlu85

wow! so glad you added walmart! i rarely shop there now that i coupon but i like to stop in occasionally andsee what coupons i can pair w/ clearance items or what i can get for free!

    • Gtgyalzz18

Scrubble Bubbles is on sale for 6.97. Use the $5 off coupon and it will be 1.97…

      • Gloria

where did you get a $5 off coupon

    • Supermom997

They wouldn't even take my coupons that I got from the pullout machines.

    • adiesmom

THANK YOU for adding Walmart!!! Hope you will continue to do so…

    • C.

Here is a decent deal…. =) I love Kellogg Smart Start Cereal, but it is so expensive for just one box. They have a rollback at the walmart which makes it $3, but there is a rebate on the cereal box to “Try it for free” so if you fill out the order form on the inside of the box, save your upc and receipt, then you can get it for free.

    • Hooks party of 6

I have just about stopped shopping at walmart but with the new deal on taking internet coupons gave me hope that things have changed. Though reading all these blogs and passed experience I sooooo wonder if it is worth the headache to even try or to just stick to my drug stores and Publix by my house.

      • Butterhead16

YMMV, it all depends on the cashier. If you find one you like (ie. knows what the heck they are doing) try your best to get in that line (even if it is longer). And if you find one that gives you a hard time, avoid like the plague. You will probably only “win” 50% of the battles with the manager so try to avoid even needing one. Try giving that good cashier a “freebie” coup to help her remember you & treat you well next time. A lot of couponing success depends on your relationships with the cashiers

      • Rudydoescakes

I don't know why you would even go to walmart if you have a publix! If you stock and rotate right you can get almost everything you need close to free at publix! I just moved to a small town where all we have is walmart and I would give anything to have a publix again!

        • bcw77

I agree with Rudydoescakes. I used to do all my shopping at Walmart before I started couponing. If you don’t coupon, they will have the lowest prices, but once I realized how much more I could save at other stores like Publix with coupons I have really tried to cut Walmart out completely. I only go there when I can get something free or next to nothing or if I absolutely have to have something that I don’t have coupons for and Walmart has the lowest price. Walmart is just not competitive for coupon shoppers. They don’t do B1G1, they don’t take competitor coupons, and they don’t double coupons. You will be hard pressed to even find cashiers who understand the coupon policy so your experiences will probably not be consistent. One time you may have no problems and another they may refuse any coupons you have. You can definitely save so much more at Publix plus the difference in customer service is well worth the switch!

    • Lynn

So am I understanding that Wal Mart may start taking printed coupons? Mine never has. That would make a difference for me.

      • MIne has taken my IPs. I had never tried before starting to coupon this past November, but they have taken every one of them I've brought (not many since I rarely go to Walmart these day! WOOOT WOOOT!!) =)

      • Check on the bottom of your latest receipt. Mine now states that they take all valid manufacturer and internet coupons. I guess they don't consider internet coupons.

      • adiesmom

they do accept printed, it's on there corporate coupon policy….check the website and print it out to show them. They have to take them!

    • Nysummer2010

just went back from Walmart :((
the cashier wouldn't allow me to use reach floss $1 coupon on $0.97 item and also wouldn't allow 2 same coupons on one transaction. The customer service manager refused to accept the coupon too. Called corporate & reported this to prove that they were wrong…

      • Ivajean

Mine allowed me to get two Reach floss w/1.00 coupon, as well as the two sponges, .84 ea. (used 1.00 off ea. coupon).

      • In the past I've had the same numbers but on Crest Kids toothpaste. The cashier didn't quite understand, but just trusted me to edit the Q down to the .97 to make it free and that Walmart wouldn't owe me anything =) She had obviously never been in a situation like that before! LOL

My point is that perhaps they would down the Qs value at yours, too.

      • Aroberson854

I also went to walmart today and tried to use a coupon for $1 off reach floss and the reg. would not take it……And the cashier told me that if the coupon was over the amount of product the reg. would not let them take it……

        • Bryarsmom

          Bless their little hearts.
Why put yourself thru this frustration? It's not Walmart, its Hellmart.

      • When I have had coupons that were greater than the purchase price, a screen would come up saying “enter item”. It appeared that all the cashier did was hit the enter button and it went through fine. Lately, I have not had a problem.

        • bcw77

Yes, that's true. They do the same thing at my Walmart and also if they are too stingy to give the measly .03 cents then they have the option of manually overriding the coupon amount and typing in .97. Unfortunately, not all the cashiers are trained the same so some just don't have a clue!

    • Rainpebble0709

I was at WalMart today and bought some Nestle Toll House Morsels. They have all types of them for $1.17 (half price).

    • Bporritt

      I shopped there yesterday.
      Similac quart formula $3.89 – I had two $5 q's and 2 $3 q's.
Found 3 bags of Snack size snicker bars $1.75 had a peelie on them for $1 off
Giant size mouth wash roll back for $3.97 had $2 q's (got home and they had rang up $4.97 – those are going back)
Found a gillette razor in the clearance isle $5.00 used $4q.
      gas-x $3.89 had a $3Q
Got several travel items too. Not a bad day… Got lucky and had a wonderful cashier too. :)

    • Bporritt

Forgot to say, the Dog treats rang up over $4.00 too. Those are in the bag for a return along with the mouthwash. I am going to ask for the correct price or a refund of all the items.

    • sealey5

Okay I have a question. you know how we get man.q's that have Publix on them sometimes, but they are man.q's…..Can we use them at Wal-Mart?

      • Butterhead16

Technically, yes. If it literally states “manufacturer's coupon” on it they have to accept it no matter what other logos are on it. BUT the rednecks at my local walmart are not too bright and insist that it isn't a manufacturers (even though it plainly states so on the top)! GRRRrrr. It probably says something about this in their coupon policy which we need to print out and take with us next time. I cant wait to move out of this area. The local traffic even has to yield to tractors as they “churn up 'em collard greens”. grrrrr

        • wendyc33

are u making fun of southerners? because it sounds to me you think your better than people at walmart or better than southern people. if so you do need to leave and we southerners are better off without you.

        • Freemn4

          BE NICE!!!!!

        • Spleanna

Same thing happend to me and my sister at Walgreens in Thompson St. TN

    • Rwilson

I just want to say, Jenny you completely rock! And this site has completely rocked my world over the last week!!!! I am VERY new to couponing but have already saved so much money and gotten some really awesome deals thanks to this site. I am completely totally addicted! haha! I tried couponing one other time but didn't have a clue what I was doing, got super overwhelmed and decided I would just stick to my walmart shopping. But now that groceries have gotten so out of hand I was spending well over $500 a month at walmart for my little family of 4, that I made the decision to figure couponing out and save my family some money. I certainly didn't think that it would be fun, and now I just can't get enough of it!!!!!!! I love it and I enjoy shopping b/c I no longer feel guilty for it. My goal is to get completely off of walmart and on grocery & drug stores only (well, for the most part). I just wanted to say thanks for making it less overwhelming and fun! :)

    • chris

I'm not finding the BIC Pen coupon and it isn't listed as regional..anyone else?

      • corey

Didn't find it either. You aren't alone.

    • Tasha

My WM has the $1 sleeves of Quaker Quick Oats that were available in the 10/$10 section at DG last sale cycle. It's a plastic sleeve, and they're held in a cardboard box on the shelf. My store had them way on the bottom shelf. If you have the $1/1 coupon from 1/2/11, they're free!

      • shesqueeks

my coupon says box, I don't think you can use this coupon on the pouches also the colgate coupon is on the wrong product.

    • Robinkinney

I know you said that shopping sales at regular grocery stores is cheaper than wal-mart, but what about Target where you can pair their coupons with manufacturer coupons?

    • christy <><

Jenny, Thanks for posting these Wal-Mart deals. They are very nice to know when I have gift cards from Christmas to spend that I can't use at other stores. Thanks for all you do!

    • Mistydawnwall

Question for Wal-Mart couponers… If I use the self checkout, will the coupons scan ok or will the associate that watches those checkout lanes have to do them. That is the case at the self checkout at Ingles… I'd like to know before I go. Thanks in advance.

      • Acook

Depends on the coupon. If it's one that has several barcodes then the associate will likely have to help but I've used several coupons at one time and did not require any assistance!

        • Mistydawnwall

Thanks for the reply! I may go on my lunch break and see what happens!

      • Cindy

I didn't even know that you could do coupons in the self check. Does it give you an option to scan in coupons like Ingles self check does or do you just scan them in when you are done scanning what you want to buy?

        • Mistydawnwall

I went at lunch today. I didn't get as much as I wanted to because I didn't want alot in my buggy and it not work… I got 2 Olays, 1 Tide, 2 Sensodyne, and 2 Reach Flosses. I used the self check out. Scanned all my items, then you push finish and pay. On that screen you click on coupons. I scanned 3 of my 7 coupons just fine. Once it got to the sensodyne ones, it acted up but the CSM came over and scanned them and the Reach ones. Merchandise Total was 9.81. It was .81 after coupons (before tax). I was stocked. All of this is going into my donation box.

      • bcw77

In my experience it is too time consuming to go through the self checkout with coupons. At Walmart, some will scan, but others will not and I almost always end up having to have the CSR come over and help which is never a quick process. At Kroger, you can't scan any coupons in the self checkout. The CSR always has to come and do it for you. I don't usually shop Ingles so I can't speak for them.

      • ddddddddd

I would never do couponing at self check. There is a very small limit before it calls for assistance. It takes so much time I'd never even try

      • dddddd

Oh and if the coupon is over the amount it asks the cashier is the amount correct…well, it does that on self check too except it doesn't always say why it didn't take it. And for b1g1 the amount has to be entered…yeah, i'd never try to do free deals at self check..it's just easier to wait in line.

    • Ranger

I have a question. My walmart says it will match any competers prices, would they take coupons that say Krogers on them? Just wondering. Thanks, Oh yeah by the way I do not like Walmart either! They have like 25 checkout aisles and always have like 5 open even at the holidays. The people that work there were even complaining!

      • bcw77

They are supposed to match any competitors advertised price. You have to have the ad so they say, but I have never actually attempted to get a price match. I have heard others complain that they have had a hard time getting Walmart to actually do this. I have never known a Walmart to accept competitors coupons, just manufacturer coupons. I personally called and asked my Walmart and they said they do not accept any competitor coupons. My Walmart does not double coupons either.

    • Tabi

Wal Mart is so frustrating. There may be some good deals there IF they will take your coupons. I know at my local Wal Mart they will not take a coupon with a higher value than the sell price. They said to me once ” You can't just get stuff for free…” Bahahahaha. Um yes I can, and I will. :) Just not at your store :)

      • Bee

Seriously…do they have some moral dilemma with someone getting a huge bargain legally?

I will have to say my Wal-Mart will take my IP and totally free IP coupons without saying anything.

      • Cedarhillcabins

Enjoyed reading your post……actually it made me laugh! I agree that Wal Mart is its own entity. I have never had any problems with using coupons at the Wal Mart here in Lancaster SC but I only use them when a coupon is about to expire, is for the product that I normally use and no other grocery or drug store has placed this item on sale.
I don't know how true this is but a friend of mine who worked at Wally World in the past told me that they have to recite a Wal Mart cheer? Hummmm may be instead they should be reciting the policies.

    • Cpzpmommy

I was just at WM in Bessemer AL they did not have any of the sale prices that are posted on southernsavers, I understand that different areas are going to be a little different but I thought WM would be pretty much the same. They said that the weekly sales start on Sunday but they do not have sale flyers to compare anything to. I am a little confused, anybody have any suggestions?

      • momto2boys

Walmart prices vary greatly even in the same town. We have two walmarts here and the one on the “nicer” side of town has higher prices than the one on the other side of town. Walmart does not have a sales flyer weekly that part is hit or miss…some weeks they do others they don't. FYI…walmart will not price match their own prices in another store.

    • Orangecouponlady

I was able to go this morning. The Colgate toothpaste that is $1 is not listed on the Colgate $1 MQ. They also did not have the 90 ct. Maalox, but they did have the liquid for $4.37 and I had no problem using $5 off coupons on those. I bought 4 and made money on all of them. They also let me use the Sensodyne Q's without any trouble. I bought some half n half and a bottle of capers for a recipe I'm making but I also got 4 bottles of Maalox, 5 Yakisobas, 5 Sensodyne toothpastes, a package of Olay soap. Ended up being like $37 before coupons and I paid $3.42. Not too bad for Walmart. I don't usually shop there. Thanks for the new list.

    • Kmcminn3

Is there a certain zipcode to use for the Quaker Oats coupon?

    • Pixiedustlady

I just got back from Walmart. Mine takes all printed coupons. I am guessing pricing varies Walmart to Walmart as well as product availability. The Colgate coupon from my SS was for Colgate sensitive, the $1.00 stuff on sale was regular Colgate. Ceaser Gourmet dog food was $1.00. The sponge coupon was for the Bathroom Scotch Brites and my Walmart does not carry them. Thanks though for posting this as I did grab some of the deals!

    • Norma Logan

It was a wasted trip in Cumming Walmart – they had very few of sale items

    • Jen

Many of these coupons do not apply to these low sale prices. Many of them specify the more expensive versions. It is not honest to use the coupons on the incorrect product, just to save yourself some money.

      • melmel

Jen, unless the coupon specifically states that a certain size, etc. can not be purchased using it, then it is not dishonest. Its just smart shopping.

      • rufftime@walmartlastwk

however, many of the coupons do not specify — and won't the store be reimbursed for the coupon + 8c – like it states???????

      • Dani_sargent83

I've run into the same problems as the others listed above with walmart employees being insanely uneducated about their own coupon policies. It's not me trying to pull a 'fast one' on them….they simply don't know their own policies. ALSO, UNLESS a coupon species 'no trial size, none under specified specific type, or ounce….it is correct to use them.

      • Eae1959

The scotch brite coupon coupon clearly states “any” yet cashiers will try to tell you to purchase the item that is pictured.

      • Nanleigh10

The coupons for Scotch Brite that I have say” ANY SCOTCH BRITE PRODUCT” Walmart would not accept them. Publix did. I still got them free, just not a Walmart. I have never been in Walmart that I have not had some kind of problem.

    • Susangoff

I HATE WALMART!!!! Every now and then, I forget why I don't shop their. I decided to give it another try and guess what? First of all, they still will not take internet coupons. Then, the cashier did not scan all my coupons and took off the wrong amounts for the BIGI free coupons. So waiting 20 min just to get a customer service rep to listen to me, it took me another 15 min to explain to them why I could use the coupons that I was trying to use, then another 35 min so she could void my order, rering it, and take off the correct coupon amounts. ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!!!!!! Just as an example, one of the problems was that she was trying to tell me I could not use one coupon for each item. So I argued that yes I could. So she then tells me I can't because the coupon says “one coupon per product” and they are both febreeze. I explained that if that was the case, it would state “one coupon per brand”!! How can people be so ignorant??!!

      • Stacey K.

I know you right girl. They r ignorant. I had an argument with them trying to explain to the manager the difference between per purchase and per transaction. I was so fired up when I left, I went home, printed the definitions, made copies, took them back, and gave the copies to the manager and told him to keep one for himself, pass the others to employees and educate themselves. When he read it, his attitude changed quickly and began to kiss my butt, and all the suck up crap they do when they're proven wrong. I told him piss off and I wouldn't be back until I got through to corp. office. I feel you girl. Just keep complaining higher.

    • Bee

I have spent my nearly entire 40 years on earth in the South and I can totally relate to being frustrated with rednecks. In their defense, the educational system in the South continues to worsen as no one in government wants to be the one to raise property taxes to properly pay teachers, etc.

I agree that everyone should be nice but after a while the attitude you get from Southerners (and yes, it can be just as bad as what you get from Northerners and a whole lot more puritanical) is very frustrating.

Although I would be glad to yield to honest farmers as opposed to getting run over by rednecks from the next county cooking meth and robbing Walgreen's for narcotics

    • GladysW

Like Susangoff, now I remember why I don't go to Walmart. My husband and I went to Walmart last night to pick up some items when I asked the customer service rep for a copy of the Walmarts coupon policy I got the “deer in the head lights” look, she then had to call for management to come over and explain to us that “it was Walmart's policy not to hand out (any) policies” so we asked her to explain the coupon policy to us. Her attempt to explain the policy seemed more like she was just making it up as as went. Her explaination did not match what Jenny (SouthernSavers) has a link to. This is just typical of big box stores such as Walmart more concerned about the $$ then providing quality service and goods to their customers.

I appreciate what Jenny (SouthernSavers) is doing, she puts in many hours updating the site, providing a free high quality service (Walmart listen up) to people she does not know. Thank you Jenny for what you do. Don't let Walmart take your valuable time.

      • Nat5harrington

I also had a horrible experinece at our local walmarts yesterday. They all told me something different. I knew their policies better than they did. I was told they did take free coupons then that they didnt then told me I couldnt use a coupon for a item when the coupon value was more than the item???? After the had already gave me the $1 off the 84 cent Scotch brite.. Anyway I am right there with you. Walmart is not the place for couponers.

        • Dawn

I actually looked for a larger can to use my Muir Glen tomatoe coupon on, but the only MG product mine sold was the paste. Found that odd.
No yogurt, there were lots of bare spots though. Couldn't find any hummus either.
I had a coupon for Pizza rolls, but there bag was like three times the price listed on another site, LOL
So I bought the MG paste, 2 scotch brite sponges, a BBQ brush (which because its out of season, they're also twice what they were!) and a book for my son. Oh, and discount hamburger buns for dinner, LOL
          I couldn't find Feb's All you either.

My coupons all beeped, the guy glanced at them, and hit enter. Gave the sponge coupon a bit more thought, then hit enter for that too. :P

I also used my free Redbox code on the way out.

    • Cindy

      Motrin, 20-24 ct., $3.78
-$1 off Motrin IB or PM product, SS 1/09
      -$1 off Motrin IB printable
-$6/2 Motrin products SS 1/09 or printable

That last printable coupon is for 25ct or bigger. Sadly.

    • grandma

Walmart in Macon, GA had regular price on Gilette Fusion razors. We asked for a sale paper so we could show them the ad, but they said they had looked and didn't have one in the store…………..so, didn't buy at regular price

    • Nat5harrington

I went to Walmart yesterday for these deals. The razors are not on sale here for $4.99 and they would not let me use the tide coupons. Half the others they wouldnt accept. They were so rude. I spent so much time printing my list and coupons yesterday morning to be let down. I know it varies state to state but have never had such issues with Walmart. I actually had the cashier say as she sighed I hate coupons..and turn to the person in line bhind me and say Im sorry this might take a while… Seriously. Publix is way more coupon friendly and they double here in Alabama. Wish Walmart would get a little more coupon friendly. After yesterday I swore to never go back.

      • Nanleigh10

When people get irritated behind me, I smile and tell them that it is my turn right now :)

    • Lamontagnesgirl

Went this morning and had a kick butt time..The razors were not on sale, but without any problems at all I bought 4 sensodyne, 1 tide travel, carefree liners. I also ventured to the garden center to look for sales, as they are often back there. LEI skinny jeans for $3!…and all their winter garanimals little boys clothing for $1 and lots of adults clothing. I ended up with all of the freebies, 3 jeans, 2 long sleeve boys tees, 3 sweatshirts, leggings, 2 sweatpants, and a girls shirt for 22.00

    • Haley554

Does anyone know when the February “All You” mag will hit stands in Walmart? I went to the one near my house this morning to check and it wasn't there.

      • Bamasaver

        I think it's on Jan 21st

      • LATONYA

It is supposed to come out 21 Jan; however, I went today to purchase one and the Feb issues that are in my Walmart are a Weight/Fitness extra copy and has not one coupon in the entire book. BEWARE! Make sure you do not purchase this copy.

      • bcw77

They are out. I just bought one today. It was in the checkout aisle not over in the Magazine section. Yes, there is a different Health and Fitness issue that is by the same people of All You, but this is not the February issue. The February issue has a pink cover with some Valentiny looking stuff on the front. The February issue has almost $80 worth of coupons. :-)

    • stacey k.

Why doesn't walmart take coupons when it makes an item free? They told me they couldn't force the coupon in the system. INFO PLEASE. Thanks Stacey K.

      • Jacketfan24

They can force it; they get the entire amount back from the manufacturer. They just have to enter it manually. There is a 'vendor coupon' key that they can hit rather than scan it and then key in the amount; I don't run a register so the order of events may be off, but it can be done. They just don't always know how to do it, since they dont' have to often.

    • Mommyof2

I went to Wal-Mart in Commerce, Georgia and found something, but not everything, They didn't have the tomato paste or Athenos Greek Yogurt. I did get (2) Sensodyne toothpaste, Colgate, (2) Reach Floss, and (2) Scotch Brite Pads for free!! However the register did give a few problems with the floss, but I showed the cashier it said ANY Reach Floss and she was more than happy to enter the coupon manually!

    • Shelli8599

I went to walmart this morning to get the colgate toothepaste but my coupon was for colgate total products not the one for $1.

      • Mommyof2

I dont think the one that I got with the coupon was Colgate Total, but not exactly sure. I do know though that the $1.00 Colgate at my store was on the bottom two rows, just about out of sight. There were about 4 or 5 different varieties for $1.00

      • bcw77

I used the same coupon for the $1 Colgate tubes. They weren't the Colgate Total tubes, but the coupon went through with no problem anyway. My coupons came out of the 1/16 inserts, but there are suppose to be coupons for the regular Colgate toothpaste in the 1/02 inserts.

    • Couponing7

I'm seeing a lot of negative comments regarding Walmart, but let me just say a big thank you for doing Walmart deals, Jenny! I understand that other stores have much better deals and are often nicer about coupons, but where I live, Walmart is the only real grocery option (and sadly, the cheapest too!). You adding coupon match-ups is a HUGE help! Thanks for all that you do!!!

    • campgirl1205

watch walmart they charged me tax on $16.00 instead of my final total of $7.00 after coupons. I should have only been charged tax on the $7.00 total. Just like your Sunday papers walmart charges tax on those too.

      • jlarmor

Don't know where you shop that they only charge tax on items, after the coupons, but that is not the normal policy. Almost every store I shop at, charges taxes on the actual price, before the coupon. You might call around and see what other stores in your area does, but that is the reason you will never have a zero balance at CVS, unless you use a $$ off ECB that is higher than the amount you owe.

      • anonymous

Walmart doesnot charge tax on the Sunday papers, and to my knowledge, they are required by law to charge tax on what is actually sold, not what you pay. That's because the state wants it's money; it doesn't go to Walmart. Using a coupon is like using money, so why should you pay less tax; you are still buying the items but just paying for them in a different way.

    • Tnjcent

Went to Walmart today to get the scotch brite deal. had 2 $1.00 COUP AND BOUGHT THE .84 CENTS scrubbing pads. Had 3 other clearance items as well. They called the supervisor on these coup. and made me feel like a criminal!. Told me my $1.00 coup could not be applied to their.84 cent product. Tried to telll them how it was done, but BEWARE! no such luck!…..I have been couponing for almost 30 yrs…these 2 ladies were spastic….I was on my lunch hour and did not have time to set them straight…left with a sour taste & disgust for WALLY WORLD! UGH! Plus their clearance items rung up higher than they were priced. I just wanted to run out of their store……DON'T waste your time….they are such idiots….but God love them…human like I am. and…out for their almighty dollar….

      • Eae1959

I had the same type of issue earlier this week,……I came home and sent an email to corporate plus on your receipt it will have a survey website you can fill out…I did. In less then 24 hrs the Walmart manager called me. Might be worth a try to let them know the truth about how they're doing.

      • Kleeo12

So the coupon works on the regular scrubbing sponges? It doesnt have to be the bathroom sponges?

        • bcw77

The coupons worked fine for me at my Walmart on the basic sponges. I didn't see anything labeled specifically “bathroom” in the Scotch Brite items anyway.

    • bootsiegirl

I use to shop exclusively at Wal Mart because the prices are the lowest. However, after being treated unfairly about a year ago, I shop at Publix and CVS only. By getting B1G1 deals and other specials, I think I am actually saving money.

A year ago I returned a pair of scissors I had bought and they broke. When I took them back to customer service, I stood in a long line to get to the register. She then asked me to please go get another pair of the same scissors in the store so that she would have the bar code to scan for my return. When I got back to her, she told me I had to wait at the back of the line. AGAIN???? I asked for the manager and it took 15 minutes to find her. She could not explain to me their “policy” for this type situation and backed up the cashier completely.

Common sense would tell you that I should have been waited on (I had already stood in line and only left because the cashier asked me to go get the proper bar code).

      • Guest

she was wrong for that. I work at CS and when we have to send customers to get another item so we can get the upc or to a department to have the item checked out we never make the customer wait in line again. Sucks that happened to you…not everyone who works at walmart lacks common sense though.

    • Switchfan

Jenny, thank you SO MUCH (!!!!!) for adding Walmart! I used to have to go to Money-Saving Mom to find walmart deals, and she didn't have the printable list, but now I can do ALL my shopping lists on your site! I LOVE YOUR SITE!!!!!!

Also, to everyone who hates Wal-Mart: try and keep thing in perspective.

      1) Walmart is easy to hate because it's so big and omni-present, but don't assume ALL the bad things you've heard about them just because you have a bad experience one day.
      2) Obviously, they should follow their coupon policy, but if they don't, and they won't cooperate, make sure you tell that that they've lost your business and why. That's the only thing that could possibly scare them into cooperating in the future.

    • Eae1959

I am one of those unhappy Walmart customers yet was actually shocked after leaving an email on their corporate site and going to their survey site which is listed on your receipt. I had such issues with BOGO coupons scotch brite sponges that I spent 15 min at the register while being told so many different rules and guidelines.
Within 24 hrs the Manager of the store called me and wanted to hear my side of what happened. He realized his cashiers have no idea what the coupons policy is, the cashier meeting is every two weeks, he will be reading my email and upon my suggestion will be asking cashiers to tell him what their policy states. He will also be dealing with the front end managers for some attitude adjustment. Not that I will shop there again, I was impressed he took the time to call me. Sending these emails and filling out their surveys just might get a message to the Mighty Walmart that we are not couponing for our health but for the fact that companies are offering discounts on their items and this is how we get them. Its all about educating Walmart and I did that without even yelling at the man, I did tell him my patience was shot with them but I did it nicely… Hope a few more will let them know their experiences.

    • Pam in Brent

In Bibb County Alabama the Wal Mart manager contacted the Chamber of Commerce. He is being hit by all the coupon caring folks and pretends to them he wants to make it right but when I asked the cashier about the policy she had no idea said she had worked there for several years and had never took time to read it through. I left a full buggy of groceries and other items that they would not match at the register and drove to the nearest Publix and Winn Dixie to get the deals. I now will only be going to Wal Mart for the free or almost free deals that I cannot beat else where…If anyone from Brent/Centreville needs to ride with me out of town to buy groceries to avoid Wal Mart I will be happy to carpool just be prepared to spend the day grocery shopping, I do….

    • SarahWr21

I just went to Walmart and got several of the items listed above. When checking out, all of my coupons 10 of my coupons scanned so I thought, “Hey this wasn't so bad.” I knew my total was a bit more that I counted on, but that happens sometimes. After getting home and looking more closely at my receipt, only 5 coupons were listed and were taken off of my total, even though all 10 of them scanned at the register. All of the coupons that I had more that one of only took one off when figuring the total. Customer service was very friendly when I called, and I can go back and get my refund, but I will not be going through all of this hastle again.

    • CASHGamlen

My WalMart in Lafayette, Ga didn't have a good bit of these items at these prices. The ones that I did find where I would end up with them for free, such as the Scotch Brite, CareFree liners, Floss, etc. they would NOT accept my coupons. I was so mad! At first she was manually putting them in and then it was like she just decided she wasn't going to do it so she called a CSM over and she said, yeah, we can't take those. They are more than what the product is worth. I was very mad and dont plan on shopping there anymore and spending so much time looking for things only for them to tell me they can't take it.

      • Linz_loulou

I live in LaFayette also and wondered about the coupons with the sale price. Thanks for the info!!! Sorry it was a wasted trip for you.

    • bcw77

Unfortunately, my Walmart in McDonough, GA didn't have the Gillette razors on sale (1 was 8.97 and the other 9.94!) or the Kikkoman Soy Sauce. :-( Oh well, I did get the Scotch Brite sponges, Dental Floss, Olay bars, Colgage toothpaste, and Taco Bell Seasoning. I got the free Maalox tablets on a previous visit. I would have gotten the Bic pens, but didn't have that coupon in my insert from that week. I did get Borden 8 oz shredded cheese for $1 with the $1 Borden coupon that Jenny posted for us. All in all, some great deals! Thanks, Jenny!

    • Nanleigh10

Walmart in Lexington, SC would not take my coupons for the Scotch Brite coupons. I, and many others here, have noticed that everytime Kroger has a great sale on a couple of items, Walmart's shelves are empty of the product the very minute it comes on sale. Anyone else notice this in other Walmart stores?

      • Michelle

I like the Walmart on 6 better. I rarely go the one in Lexington itself because I've had such bad experiences with the cashiers AND the managers not wanting to take my coupons or looking at me like I'm a criminal ripping them off. The Walmart on 6 is pretty coupon friendly and the best time to go is during daytime.. ;) Usually not a lot of people there.

    • Just came back from the Walmart in Simpsonville, SC. Here is how my list went.

      Scotch Brite Basic Sponges 7@ $0.84= $5.88
Kashi Go Lean Crisp Cereal 1@ $3.28= $3.28
      Cheerio's Cinnamon Burst Cereal 2@ 2.50= $5.00
      Almond Breeze 86oz 1@ $3.54= $3.54
      Bounce 2mo Dryer Bar 1@ $4.27= $4.27

      Subtotal Before Coupons: $21.97

      Scotch Brite Cpns 7@ $1.00= $-7.00
Kashi Go Lean Cereal Cpn 1@ $3.00 $-3.00
      Bounce Dryer Bar Cpn 1@ $2.50 $-2.50
      Cheerios Cinnamon Burst Cpn 2@ $0.75 $-1.50
      Almond Breeze Milk Cpn 1@ $1.00 $-1.00

      Coupon Subtotal: $-15.00

      Final Total Spent: $6.97

Also the Scotch Brite Coupon I was able to print as many as I wanted since it came up as a PDF file, the only catch is that I had to print one at a time.

    • Cara Lagunas

this Walmart ad was added on 1/17…for how long are these sales good? When will the next ad come out?
      Thanks!

    • Danielle

Hi. I've had good experiences on my last two trips to Wal-Mart. They took my Walgreens coupon. It beeped, but the cashier overrode it. I asked before I handed my coupons to him if they were accepting Target, Walgreens, and CVS coupons now. He told me yes. He was the second cashier to tell me this. I'm in Mobile, AL. I've gotten the travel sized Johnson and Johnson first aid kits, toothpaste, carefree panty liners, etc with no problems.
