Going Nuts? I can help you understand coupon terms and abbreviations

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy. There are variations every week.

**Note: This is being posted a day early this week.  As folks send me the lists I will update with links so check back if your paper is not up yet.**

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. You see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your inserts and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. A way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

Jenny- Do you think the Charlotte Observer is the best paper we can get in Columbia? If so, how often do you buy it?

    • Tammy

I’m new to this and do not understand the color differences on the Weekly Regional Insert Variations. I get the Chattanooga News Freepress and did not get near the coupons posted here..Thanks

      • Jenny

Red is all of the coupons you did not get in your area but ones that other areas did get.

      • Margy

Tammy, here in Chattanooga we usually get only about a 1/3 or less of what the regional list has, and as you can see from this week’s example, even the coupons we get that ARE on the regional list have price differences (those are also in blue). It is very frustrating but that’s the way it is. I have in-laws in a larger city who have been kind enough to gather their inserts and send them once a month, which helps.

It is the best paper that is available. However I only get it on the weeks that have lots of inserts. Weeks like last week and this coming week with one insert I don’t know that it is really worth it.

      • I like to use those weeks as a break, unless there is a fabulous coupon that justifies it! ;-) Is this coming week not the big PG? I got an email, but can’t remember the dates it said.

        • Jenny

          It is this coming week!

    • Melissa

I did not get RedPlum coupons last week, but they were released in my area. I tried to call customer service, but it is an automated system that directs you to the website. I went to the site, but did not see where you could “order” coupons. Does anyone know how to do this and what the cost is? Thanks!

    • I can’t seem to click on the Birmingham paper–do they have to be
      blue-highlighted to be available?

    • Debi

THANKS TO MANDI for doing the GREENVILLE NEWS inserts!! I really appreciate you doing them for us!
