Weekly Weigh In

For the last 6 weeks I have been hovering at the same point.  Losing a pound or two then gaining it back, fluctuating back and forth every few weeks.  While I guess I should be glad for the maintaining and not gaining, I’m not to a point where I want to stop losing.  So… I’ve decided to try a reboot (think unplug the computer and kick it a few times).  I lost a lot in the very beginning using Nutrisystem and not eating anything off plan, so I’ve decided to go back on it for at least the next three weeks.  I had a goal of getting to 170 before the Becoming Conference (3 weeks away) and while that isn’t a healthy goal anymore, I’d be glad to at least lose 5 lbs before then.

This weeks numbers:

Starting Weight (18 weeks ago): 202
Last Week: 178.2
Current Weight: 179.6
Goal Weight: 165

My original goal was to hit 165 before 9/1 and I could still possibly do that.  15 lbs in 6.5 weeks will be tight, but I’m not losing hope yet!

So for this week my little goals:

  • Stick to Nutrisystem for all meals (thankfully we aren’t traveling any for a bit)
  • Exercise 4-5 times each week.
  • Drink lots of water!

I haven’t really talked a lot about water on my weekly posts.  I’ll confess it’s because I’m not a huge water fan.  I like bubbly drinks with taste.  However, my body is a fun of water and I am realizing I do so much better when I am hydrated.  So I’m adding it as a goal/plan so that I’ll stick to it.  I even got a fun water bottle to tote with me everywhere to make it seem more fun.

Any other tips you have for breaking out of the rut I’m in?
