Most people have goals to save money and lose weight.  One of the common myths is that products with coupons are all unhealthy.  Each week, this list will provide you with some tasty, good-for-you frugal meal and snack ideas based on sales at the grocery store. We are starting to see better prices on produce and these will get better as we get closer to spring.

Another GREAT diet friendly recipe using the Tilapia Fillets is Chili Lime Tilapia – http://www.gagirl.com/recipes/chililimetilapia.html
My family LOVES it. My 13 yr old dd especially.

We don't have a Harris Teeter, Publix, or Kroger…but at Winn Dixie I always find great deals on healthy meats, frozen veggies, and often fresh produce. This week i am spending a lil less at WD and heading to Aldi for my produce! I agree. I get so tired of hearing in a snobby tone “our family really doesn't eat the kinds of foods most coupons are on.” My daughter and I are having BOGO Chicken and $.67 broccoli for lunch :)

We don't have those stores close by either. I love that Winn Dixie prints off the $5 off $55. purchase and the BOGO's are great too. I spent $60 on groceries this week and saved $60 plus and got some really healthy foods!

Can you post the Tex Mex Fish recipe some other way? You have to be a member to see it on that link and it sounds delicious!!

Thank you for posting WW sale items! Just this week I felt like I was off the grocery saving wagon and onto the diet wagon, but apparently I can do BOTH! :) You are amazing!!!

three cheers for HEALTHY ideas!! Let's face it, MOST of the killer deals are foods that are simply horrible for us. Thanks for these posts Jenny.

      Hey Jenny-
I noticed when I was leaving my Publix last night that they were doing another “Buy theirs, get ours free.” I think it was rice, chicken broth, soup, and something else. Sorry can't remember the details, just thought you'd like to know if you missed it! Thanks for all you do!
