      i just called my store and they knew nothing about this.

      I looked at their website & it’s on their calendar. You’d think I could get my Wusthof sharpened there for free anyway since that’s where I bought it!

      My store did it only at 11:00am and only for the few people in line at the “right ” time.  They were however handing out business card for a local sharpener who “did a great job at a good price”  Seems to me they were just marketing for this business!!

      Is it really worth the gas to go get ‘one’ knife sharpened?  This is a sales gimmick to get you to buy.
