    • Lianna

So does this mean free brownies? Or is the coupon a true DND?

    • Kim

Jenny, our Winn Dixie in Alabama doubles coupons up to .50 cents daily. So wouldn't the Betty Crocker Family Size Fudge Brownies, 99¢ be free with the doubled coupon or does the coupon say “do not double”. I haven't tried to use a “do not double” q at Winn Dixie, so I don't know if they actually double them like Publix or not. Just a thought. Thanks!

      • Lianna

The coupon says do not double. I'll try it tonight and let you guys know if I get them for free or for 50 cents each :)

      • kookiekook

I have not tried the BC Fudge Brownies coupon yet, but all my coupons $.50 and lower have doubled including those that state DO NOT DOUBLE. I usually use the self serivce check outs but on occassion a manager had to approve the coupon and did so with no problem.

      • stefluvs2sign

Do all Publix double coupons? I live in Fla and have never heard of them doubling coupons

    • queen4savings

where can i find the juicy juice coupon? It will not print from either printable tab 4 me.

    • Molliec

today, I used the 50 cent off brownie coupon and it doubled just fine. yay for free brownies!!!

    • gery220

Ok so I went to Winn-Dixie today and I had the worst expirience ever. The cashier was reading every cpn, the printable ones she said they didnt take (which they have taken before) so ofcouse I called the manager. Well she read each cpn and looked thru the bags to see if i had the item. She had to maually enter the cpns. The Aunt Jemima that was advertise did not have a sign @ the freezer door…The chrged me more for the colgate that was .99 cents (ofcourse when I got to the car I notice and went back..specially that it was free, I had $1.00 cpn)..OMG HORRIBLE!!!!
I will stick to PUBLIX where shopping IS a great pleasure.

Knowing how they get their money back for the cpns, I got realy upset and will be putting in an email to the coorporate office.

      • LD

I sure know this . This is one of the reasons I dont shop at Winn Dixie much they are so coupon paraniod there { North Florida}. The cashiers must get flogged for taking em LOL .

        • gery220

Well we are close, I am from South Florida. i guess becuase this was way too much…lol

      • stefluvs2sign

Email or call corporate they will take care of you. The WD here in St. Pete is great, they take the RR from Walgreens bc they are manufacturer coupons. Tell corporate you don't appreciate that you are treated like a criminal by having all of your coupons read and your bags checked. The darn machines are set up not to accept a coupon if you didn't buy the item so why are they acting like that? Good grief. Make some waves and I guarantee you will get results. If needed print the email response you get and take it w you to the store.

        • skflbeaches

I tried to use two $2 off Hartz dog treat coupons at WD, and they told me I could only use one on B1G1…ugh! I wrote corporate to ask their policy. If this is true, that is unfortunate for WD. Already, I only shop for items that are cheaper than Publix, which is not much.

          • stefluvs2sign

It is not true bc technically you are buying the product otherwise they would not need to scan it. They get the $ back from the manufacturer. Next time get a manager and if that fails have the manager call corp. while you are standing there. It is LEGAL and they get the $$ back.

            • stefluvs2sign

Is the coupon off the purchase of 2? Or $2 off of one?

          • nfg

I had the same problem today with the hartz dog snacks. I don't even know why I went to Winn Dixie. I feel so dirty after shopping there. Such an unclean store and franchise!

          • uknowme

Go the self checkout, scan all your coupons, and then the Winn Dixie employee will come over and wave their card over the scan area, and you will be ready to check out. I have used the Crystal Light Coupons, and the Sundown Coupons on BOGO dozens of times. Most of the time I bought 4 12 Quart Crystal Lights, and 4 Sundown Vitamins, my bill was around $8.65 cents most of the time. For the 8 items, I used 4 (1.50 off Crystal Light Coupons), and 2 (3 dollars off 2 Sundown items), I was only supposed to use 2 of the Crystal Light coupons and 1 Sundown coupon, but always the clerk that is in charge of Self checkout, always comes and swipes her card, and then I pay.

        • gery220

Yup I emailed them. Still awaiting a response. The register was beeping but I had B1G1 so I gave 2 cpns….The only thing I truly love fom them is the chocolate Milk, so I will be sneding my husband to get that and only that…..Thanks

          • stefluvs2sign

I always go straight to customer service and ask the manager for the coupon policy. When I find that the cashiers are not following policy I let the manager know and the next time you won't have a problem. Be sure to get manager's name so IF you have trouble you can say “I spoke to so and so and this is what they told me.”

      • I had the same experience this week at Winn Dixie AND at Rite Aid. I can't help to wander if you live in the Alabaster Alabama area!!! In the end they did take the coupons- print off the coupon policy and take them with you- I've learned that the hard way this week!!!

I am in South Florida (MIAMI). And I got the policy @ hand so that is that. But the Manager for that WinnDixie did cal me and was very nice and upset @ the fact of what I went through. he even gave me his cell # and told me to call him if I had any problems. I thoughgt that was nice of him.
I still do most of my shopping @ Publix. Even though I didnt have a great expirience today but when the cashier got stupid I asked her to please call ALEX the manager. So when he came over he explined to her that I was allowed to stack my MQ w/ PQ..and that I was allowed to get that item free…she almost fainted, so he took over the transaction and he made my day much better.
But I will not go thru her lane EVER again.

The Dole printable says “any 1 dole blend, distinctively dole salad, or complete salad kit” would the iceberg and coleslaw be included in that??

      • LD

I think it does I was wondering the same the other day and I checked the Dole web site and from what I can see they sure do .

        • kmoon

I tried it today with no problems!

    • kmoon

Definitely waited too long to print!! Most of the cheerios are gone… no chocolate :( and the saltines are all gone. Oh well learning my lessons quick!

Publix deal for Kotex BOGO use the Publix BOGO coupon and use the $1.50 Manufacturers coupon FP-= $2.11 for 2 boxes tampons
Buy Gillette Deodorant get Gillette body wash FREE use .50 manufacturer on deodorant then manuf. $2 off on body wash and give the manuf. buy deo. get wash free FP= 99CENTS for the deodorant and wash!

      • Joy

That is using too many coupons. The Buy a Deodorant, get a Body Wash free is the coupon for the body wash. You can't then use the $2 off the body wash as well.

        • stefluvs2sign

Yes you can and I did. I also used coupons at CVS when they had the $5 ECB when you bought 2 cover girl products. I used a coupon for each product and a buy 1 get 1 coupon and they took them. It is LEGAL bc you are technically buying both products and then you get one FREE if you weren't buying them they would not scan them and you would walk out of the store with them. No matter what the store is getting the $ back from the manufacturer.
I have been to numerous coupon workshops and they all teach it that way.

Maybe I was misunderstanding what coupons you were using? This is what I thought you meant:
            Buy:
            Gillette Deodorant
            Gillette Bodywash
            Use:
            – Buy Gillette Deodorant, get Gillette Bodywash FREE
            – .50/1 Gillette Deodorant
            – 2.00/1 Gillette Bodywash

That would be using three Manufacturer's coupons but only buy two products. Is that what you are saying or am I misunderstanding? Thanks!

            • stefluvs2sign

That is exactly right. As long as that is not the only purchase you are making it is fine bc the rule is you cannot have more coupons than items. SO if that was the only purchase you were making you would need to throw in a filler item like a pack of gum or something. SO I gave them the .50 the $2 and then the BOGO. I bought a bunch of stuff that day so I didn't have to worry abt having more coupons than items.

            • Joy

Jenny, would you maybe be able to comment on this one to clear things up?

No, sorry. I gotta say I really think you're wrong here on this one. The rule is not just that you can't have more coupons than items. If that was the only rule, you could do something like this:
Buy a jar of pasta sauce, use 10 .50/1 coupons and then buy 9 of anything else in the store you want.
The rule is most definately one manufacturer's coupon PER item.

And Stef, please don't feel like I'm trying to attack you or anything! Couponing can be confusing and all of us make honest mistakes. I have no doubt that you, like the rest of us are just trying to do you best to follow the rules and get the best deals! =)

I tried to get the Dog Biscuits with my $2 coupons, but it didn't work. The cashier said I had to split it into 2 transactions b/c the 2nd coupon beeped. However, when I did that they rang up $3.99 each. What should I have done to get them for free?

      • LD

They are Buy one get one free so you have to have them both in the same order . You must have shoped at a store that does true buy one get one frees. Florida maybe? what you needed to do was not give your card till after they rang up your items and your coupons. Use the self check out and do it that way to see how it works out . some items at self check out dont even come off right after you ring in your card . they dont come off till you hit pay lol and no one knows why. some will come off right after your card but make sure not to scan card till after all items and coupons . then scan your card , small delay some things come off hit pay after it does those and the rest comes off.

The register kept beeping for me too on the dog biscuits. I asked the cashier if he could just key in the dollar amount of 1.98 or 1.99 whatever the price was going to be because of the BOGO discount and he did. I'm in FL so I had true BOGO prices.

Winn-Dixie has some awesome sales this week. But please help, I'm confused on the coupon use. They have Gillette Shave Gel on the BOGO sale, plus I have the Buy Gillette Shave prep, get Gillette Body wash free coupon. If I buy 2 shave gels and 2 body washes, can I use “Buy shave prep get free body wash coupon” AND can I use the $4 off 2 body washes coupon as well? That you be a really great deal!

      • LD

Dont think you will be able to use the $4 off 2 . As the coupon for the free body wash will be on one of the body washes and the $4 coupon is for 2 items. So you cant use it on one you already are using a manuf. coupon on. One manuf. coupon per item. you could just get one body wash and pay nothing for it . If you have coupons for the shave gel ? you can use some on those even the get one free one . as it is a sale that is giving it free not a coupon. But with winn dixie if you are in florida you need to have your card scaned last for the register to take off a coupon on the free items. Or a decent cashier who knows what she is doing and I find those are few and far between at winn dixie [as far as coupon knowledge]

I just found 10 oz. frozen bags of Cascadian Farms Raspberries for $1.00! Regularly $4.79. I didn't have any coupons with me, but I know there are some peelies for $1/2 and maybe some printables? $1.00 is a great price for me though so I got several.

    • lucy2778

Great deals this week. Just went out, saved lots of money. Dole salads were $0.99, and there was a coupon right by the salads for $0.75/1. Bought lots of salad for 24 cents a bag. I guess the Winn-Dixie in my area doesn't have a lot of couponers, because the shelves were stocked up well, got lots of free Hunt's tomato sauce (was $0.29 each, and I had a coupon $1/3). Wohoo! They also had Gillete Fusion shave gel BOGO, plus I used the Buy shave prep, get free body wash coupon, got 2 shave gels and 1 bodywash all for under $5 = happy hubby.

    • I'm going to frame these and hang them when my husband's at work and see how long it takes him to notice when he gets home!
