On the Pillsbury catalina deals can you do more than one per transaction and still get the catalina's for it? For example: can I purchase 6-cinnamon rolls and 6-crescent rolls and get $8 back?

      • Joy

Nope, it won't work that way. You would only get one $4 catalina, BUT you can “roll” this deal meaning that you could purchase the first set of six, get back the $4 and then use it for your next set of six and still receive another $4 catalina. Hope that helps!

        • Allison

          Thanks Joy
I wanted to make sure before I tried it.

The Winn Dixie in Trussville, AL does not allow 2 coups on B1G1. They won't allow coupons such as $1 off 2 either. Just FYI…

      • Annette

That's awful. Most cashiers have no clue as to what's BOGO.

Today I used a BOGO rain check for (4) Dole salads. The cashier was told to ring up only (2). I said I had (4) coupons and wouldn't be able to use all (4) coupons if he rang them that way. The person in charge of cashiers (don't know the title), was so nice and gladly voided them and re-rang them at half price, using the RC option.

I have no trouble using (2) coupons on BOGO items and it's not just at one location – it's at all locations (6, in total). So, if I were you I would place a call to corporate and ask about the policy.

        • rclay18

I have trouble at mine too. They won't even try the coupon. They just say you can't use a coupon on a free item even though on the receipt it clearly rings up twice and is voided later in the transaction. :( I think I will call and send corporate an email so I can show the return email to the manager.

          • rclay18

I tried two different cashiers this week and they gave me no problem. I guess it just depends if the cashier wants to spend the time to help you.

      • 3monkeysmom

Does this happen to you alot? I've shopped at the one in Trussville a few times, just for stuff on sale.
They let me use 2 coupons on BOGO spaghetti sauce several weeks ago. The cashier said she was “surprised” the register took both coupons b/c it was a BOGO but it went through okay and she was nice and didn't give me any problems.

      • lisaajenkins

the one in Chalkville will sometimes, just depends on the cashier-

      • Joy

The easiest fix for that is to give them your coupons before scanning your reward card. Of course some of them might still give you a hard time, but it fixes all the computer “beeps”. Hope that helps someone.

      • Julie

the head cashier told me that in order to use your coupons on both items – give them your coupons first….THEN your card (because the card takes the BOGO items off, you have both items to use your coupons on) HTH…also, they said if you do the self checkout – you can scan your card at the end and it does the same thing.

On the ORAL-B Toothbrushes, 3D White, and the Oral B Advantage Toothbrushes, except the Artica Advantage, you can use the B1G1 Coupon for the Oral B Brushes I listed above. All you have to do is pay the tax,

The coupon was in the P&G on 03/07

      • uknowme

There is a glitch in the system, Winn Dixie was charging full price, the register wasn't giving BOGO, manager had to override the register. As of 04/01/2010 9PM

If you got your Con Agra $50 coupon book (spend $25 on any Con Agra products send away for a coupon booklet worth $50) there is a $1 off any 2 Pam cooking sprays and they are B1G1 this week!

    • Danielle

Look out for $2 off 2 Kraft shredded cheese blinkies. I found them right in front of the cheese at my store today. I was not going to buy any because I had no coupon, and I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted it!

    • There is a $3 off wyb Glad and another Clorox product Q in the One Stop One Shop booklet from Publix. It is a Publix us only Q, but my store will accept it as a competitor Q.

    • Melissa H

Note: In Central FL, Nature's Own bagels are not B1G1 again this week (they were in either last week or the week before's list) … However, Thomas Bagels ARE B1G1 … Don't know of any q's but just wanted to throw that out there … Also, I just realized re-reading the list that my $1.50 catalina didn't print for the two McCormick's Grinders I bought … :0(

      • Melissa H

Sorry, meant to say that Nature's Own were in the list as B1G1 a week or two ago and they were not B1G1 here … and that its the same this week … Nature's Own must not like O-town :(

I transferred a prescription using the $25 gift card coupon. Not only was my prescription $100 LESS than what we were paying at another pharmacy (we pay out of pocket for medication), but I got $25 gift card to use on my groceries. I bought $62 worth of groceries and ended up with $4 left on the gift card plus another $4 coupon to use next week!

      • LD

I did the perscription transfer last week when it was get a $1 off gas per gallon ,up to 20 gallons. I paid 1.69 [as i had a 5 cent per gallon already on my card] . So I was able to get 18 gallons of gas at 1.69 a gallon lol who thought 3 years ago I would be excited at gas under $2 a gallon lol. Just wish I would have brought the lawn mower gas can to get the last 2 gallons at that price lol

    • LD

Has any one had any luck in getting the Cat when u buy 2 of the Mcormicks grinders ? Thanks

      • Annette

I bought two tonight and nothing printed. I thought maybe the cashier overlooked the Catalina, but I never heard it printing.

      • LD

I did go and try it . The first order I did 4 of them and got a 2.50 Cat the second order I did 4 and only got the $1.50 Cat ? So not sure if only some of the grinders qualify and not others ?

        • Annette

          Let's compare notes.

Which ones did you buy on each transaction? I bought Steakhouse Seasoning and Peppercorn Medley and got no coupon.

It's been awhile since I called Catalina on an offer, but I might do that tomorrow (if I can remember). Since I don't have an offer number, I can give them the UPCs of my two and they can tell me if either of them qualify.

It would help if others provided UPCs for their grinders that didn't produce Catalinas (don't need UPCs for the two I just mentioned. lol). I can ask them about those, too.

          • LD

I wish I could give you an answer to that ? . I dont have the receipt to check and cant remember which ones I bought in each transaction. Wish I had kept track of that but did not even think of, kind you would buy would make a difference until later. I did buy a steakhouse seasoning and a mixed peppercorn. which transaction they were in or they may have been separate tranys. ugg wish i was more help. I did also get a cinnamon and a sea salt and the black peppercorns but which ones produced the 2.50 cat and which ones only gave the 1.50 cat I cant say. I will look more for the receipts and let u know if I find them.

A few more notes to add:

California Pizza Kitchen Pizza, 11.9-14.1 oz Thin Crust, $5.50
      – $1/1 California Pizza Kitchen Pizza blinkie found in front of the pizzas at WD
      = $4.50

Renpure Organics Hair Care Products are again BOGO this week, even though they aren't listed in the ad (the sale tag said good through 4/6). If you didn't get these last week, to take advantage of the TMF MIR tags on the bottles (thanks for the heads-up by shopper523), then you have another chance. That makes them both free after MIR as long as you scan the card sometime later in the transaction, so that the regular price of the product is what you circle; otherwise they won't both be free (you'll be repaid 50% of the price of one, making them 75% off).

I lost the paper where I wrote down the brand, but hopefully someone can help. There's a line of canned vegetables that are, I think, on sale for $1 each (I hate that I lost the paper, because it had SO many clearance items written on it). They're mixed in with the other canned goods, next to the WD brand. The brand is a lady's name (it isn't Libby's) and is two words (it isn't Del Monte). This wasn't in the ad, but I did see it on sale in-store.

      • Annette

I remember the brand now. It's Margaret Holmes vegetables that are on sale for $1, but not listed in the ad.

I wish WD would put ALL the sale items in the ad. They'd increase their sales and my spending.

I tried using internet coupons this morning at Winn Dixie and they said they don't take them. Has anyone had this problem? I was so disgusted with the poor customer service I received I think I am really going to avoid going there in the future.

      • Annette

I would have asked why they had printable coupons on their very own site, if they don't accept them. You need to, call corporate and discuss this ridiculous issue.

        • Natalie

I sent an email to customer service and the store manager called me back. He said they do take internet coupons, but typically do not accept them when they don't scan. He said he would make sure all the managers knew the policy. I'm not sure why they didn't already know.

      • Lucy

Sometimes stores do that. What coupons did you try to use? My store, for example, only accepts smartcource/bricks printables, and no others.

        • Natalie

I used the Kingsford charcoal free item coupons. Only one of them would scan. I ended up sending an email to customer service and the store manager called me back. He said they do take internet coupons, but typically do not accept them when they don't scan. He said he would make sure all the managers knew the policy, but I think that the store is generally not run very well. Sometimes I am surprised they manage to stay in business.

          • lynn

i totally agree. no one there is on the same page.

    • One of my 50 cent manufacturer coupons did not double tonight despite our Winn-Dixie doubling any coupons 50 cents and under. Anyone else have this problem? Does the cashier have to hit a button to double the coupon and mine just missed a coupon for doubling?

      • lynn

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. i make sure i watch the screen and if it does not double the cashier will usually fix it with no problem. but yes it is not reliable or as helpful as the publix computers are. hope that helps.

had the best morning. went to winn-dixie used my coupon for a $25 gift card when i transferred a prescription and spent $10 for my medication so i was $15 ahead already. then i shopped the sales and got 4 bags of ore-ida hash browns, 4 bags of lays, 10 bags of kraft shredded cheese, 2 boxes of tetley tea bags and 2-2pack HVR dip mix (on clearance and i had coupons for that too). before sales, coupons and tax was $77.78. after sales, coupons and before tax $16.38 ($19.60 with tax) and i still have $5.40 on my gift card! yeah!!!! THANK YOU JENNY, i cannot wait to see what happens after i go to the couponing workshop! on a side note, i used to internet coupons this morning with no problem, i hate that so many of ya'll are having problems not just at WD but at other stores too. may be they will get a clue eventually. i was talking to one of the asst. mgrs. and asking him what exactly the coupon policy at WD and specifically wanted to know if they took comp. coupons and he said no but that they had conveyed that many customers had requested that they start doing that so maybe that will be a change that will happen and help us all out on our trips there. hang in there everybody! have a great week shopping!

      • lynn

one more thing. even though i did very well today, their customer service is so bad. i went by there yesterday to pick up one thing and had one coupon and had to get a mgrs approval because i used a coupon, same thing today. all of my coupons were correct, i try to mind the rules, and it wasn't that they thought i was trying to use the wrong coupons, they did not even check. when i asked why an approval was needed no on could tell me anything but “it just does that”. if it weren't for some awesome deals every now and then i would never go in there.
