Many of you have emailed and called Johnson & Johnson about the $10 Mail in Rebate.  Long story short Johnson & Johnson is telling everyone who calls that the $10 rebate when you buy $30 is only being honored for those that spend $30 AFTER coupons!

There are lots of great coupons out to use on this rebate, but please make sure that you are buying enough to still end up with a $30 purchase.

Tip: They are stating that they are only looking at the total purchase of the receipt being over $30, so if you buy these as part of a grocery shopping trip with other items you will be good.

Example:

Head to Publix, get everything you need that week and get:

(2) Aveeno Hair Care $5.49
(5) Aveeno Baby Care Items $3.79
(1) Clean & Clear spot Treatment $4.19
Use
(2) -$2.50 off Aveeno Hair SS 1/10 or printable
(5) -$2 off Aveeno Baby care SS 1/10 or printable
-$2 off Clean & Clear SS 1/10 or printable
Total = $16.67

As long as your total purchase is over $30 when you checkout you will be fine.  Why you ask?  Your receipt will show the coupons used but will not show what the coupons were for.

This was information from their call center “just make sure your total purchase including non rebate items is over $30″.

Update: As others call they are getting different answers.  You will have to make a decision on this one for yourself.  Remember, what the call center says and what the rebate center approves are not always the same.  From all of the differences on this one I’m leaning towards either not doing it or having the $30 so I know either way I’m good.
