    • Rayshelle

      Pretty good coupons!

    • Amym850

Wow, good week. The $3 off Herbashine sounds like a high dollar one. Does anyone know its psa?

      • Khjbcoupons

        what is psa

        • Nancy

          price start at

      • Melissa

The herbashine hair color price varies wildly. It's usually like $7.50 at my walmart, but I've seen it as high as $9.99 at the drug stores. However, Walgreens sometimes runs a sale putting it at $4.99…making this coupon fantastic.

        • Amym850

          Awesome, Thankya!

    • SugarBooBear

Looking good!  I think I'll have to get 4 papers again this week.

    • ireneY

Wow, two weeks in a row with multiple inserts! Feels like you can at least break even with the cost of the paper vs. your coupon redemptions. With the coupon values declining, I am finding my “stock up” price going up. The pantry is getting bare, so it's time to suck it up and pay actual money!!

    • aria

I used my delta miles to subscribe only sunday newspaper. If you have some miles that is not enough for free ticket or not planning to tarvel soon, you can use them before they expire this way.

      • 4happyfolks

Aria can you tell me how this works? My hubby has miles from awhile back. He doesn't work for the same company so….. no use for them. Thanks!!!

    • Ashley

Does anyone know what papers get the Target insert? I've never seen one, I get the Chattanooga Times Free Press

      • savingmoney11

Get the Tennessean . They were in there last time w the target insert .

        • susan

Are you in Chattanooga?  I would like to know where, in Chattanooga, I can find the Tennessean.  I called a couple of Book Stores about a year ago and they did not carry them, do you know if they do now?  Thanks

      • Cori C.

They are usually in the AJC (Atlanta paper)

    • Savitaponder

Smartsource  did a great job this week. Lot of food coupons. Will buy four papers this week.

    • Courtney

Great week! Finally some food coupons worth clipping!
I still have $7.50 worth of Gerber formula checks I'd like to trade–I would take Emfamil or Similac or coupons for Beechnut or Gerber jarred baby food.

      • Shannons219

I have $20 worth of Similac check coupons that you are welcome to have-Let me know where to send them–if you are anywhere near the Atlanta area it also came with 2 full-sized powder samples–My youngest kid is 4-I don't know why I got them!

        • Stefanyg

Hi!  If this person does not want or need your Similac checks, I would love to have them!  We need all the baby help we can get!  My email is stefanyg@yahoo.com.  Thank you for helping others out!

        • Courtney Crane

If you let me know your e-mail address I'll send you my address!  Thanks so much!  I bet you were excited when your kids stopped drinking formula!

    • Erin

Curious about the Target insert. I've never seen one before in the Tuscaloosa or B'ham News. Has anyone else?

    • Aztecblondie

Yay!  Looks like lots of food coupons, finally!  Good for back to school lunches.

    • I have a Sunday-only subscription for 2 Charlotte Observers, one of which was missing coupon inserts this time. First time this has happened to me. Does anyone know where I can order single Redplum & P&G inserts without having to order 10+ inserts or huge bundles? My household is small and it would be a waste of money for me to order multiple inserts. Any help is greatly appreciated!

      • Estimm5

try http://www.wholecouponinserts.com they sometimes have singles that you can order.

      • you can order individual and inserts from CouponDeDe.com … I have ordered from her afew times … always happy with the service!

      • january42003

If I'm not mistaken, I've see where you can purchase 1 insert instead of 10+ on Whole Coupon Inserts. Can't remember if that was an instance where it was a few weeks old inserts. Worth checking out if you haven't already. Hope your inserts don't go missing anymore!

        • Luci

Check Whole Inserts as early as you can. I was considering buying individual inserts of Red Plum this week, but by the time I checked it was sold only in a bundle with other inserts. i only wanted a few inserts. Fortunately because my local paper had so many shortages, they had more Sunday papers for sale beginning on this morning, Wednesday.

      • Rlynn103

You can also buy a bundle and split it with someone….

      • Make sure you go to their website or call them and file a complaint. They have a checkbox for missing coupons. A few weeks ago my Observer was either stolen or wasn't delivered at all and a new one was delivered that afternoon. I think you need to do it by 10 a.m., though.

      • Pattcoupons

        Koupon-kash. com

    • babs in bama

anyone know where you can get the birmingham newspaper at in motgomery?  looks like they get better coupons!

    • guest

Jenny is that Target coupon $1 off all laundry detergent (meaning any brand) or is it $1 off “All”  laundry detergent meaning the All brand?

      • Kim N.

It's off of the “all” brand. Their brand name is lowercase.

    • vacation help!

I'm going to Myrtle Beach this month for the first time.  We'll be 6 adults and 2 6 month olds. We're staying in a condo for 9 days, 7 nights.  I'm the organized one of the group and I'm bringing a lot, baked and frozen breakfast breads, a few made-ahead frozen meals, laundry det etc. but there are some things I'll need to buy while I'm there.  So…in short what grocery stores have the best selection/price in that area?  I'm hauling my couponing binder on vacation!

      • Kacimincey2011

Ok I'm live in myrtle beach. There is bi-lo which doubles coupons up to .60 they allow stacking, and now accept competitor coupons. Also there is Lowes Foods which doubles coupons up to .99 cents. And we have kroger which doubles up to .50 cents. Makes for some really awesome deals!!!

      • Carriedawn

Food lion and Piggly Wiggly are the major stores there besides walmart

      • Frances

I shop at Kroger's at Myrtle Beach.

      • Rhomiz2

I live in the MB area.  We have BiLo, Kroger & Lowes.

      • laBreeze

Before I leave to go out of town, I google the name of the city with “grocery stores”, then I make my shopping lists here on Southern Savers before I leave town.

    • MommaOf1

      Yay!  Food!

    • Leighjosh5

How do you get a heads up on what might be free each week?
I need to stock up and order from ebay ahead of time lol

    • Debrahow

This is something to be excited about!  Lots of food coupons and all round great coupons!  YEAH!  (I need to find someone who needs the feminine hygiene coupons as I never need them and we keep getting Kotex, Tampax, Always…)

      • Kristinoftwo

I'd love the hygiene coupons if you don't mind sending them my way. You can email me at kristinssalemail@gmail.com

        • WendyMK

Email me and I will gladly send you my hygiene cpns.  I have some already and will add those to the ones I pick up on Sunday.  My email is  originalwendy@msn.com

      • Jmam1104

Don't need the hygiene ones as I've stocked up on those, but if anyone has any of the KY product coupons for $2 off that they don't want or need, I NEED them.  I have a 9-yr-old daughter that catheterizes, and she has to have them.  Her catheter supply company only sends her one tube of lubrication a month and that just don't do it!!!  I have some coupons of other things that I would trade for!  Thanks…my email is jmam1104@yahoo.com

        • Karmah60

      • Heater1212

Yes, it's true. I just sent you an e-mail a moment ago. I don't like throwing them away and I'm thankful to be able to help our military families in a small way.

Went to Walgreens last night and the checkout lady said she saw a news report that Publix is going to be limiting to 5 coupons per transaction in the future. Anyone know if this is legit or just a rumor?

      • crystal t

I would hope it would be 5 coupons per item per trasnaction. I am all for that. Maybe that will keep product on their shelves.

        • crystal t

Or five coupons for five of the same item. Not five for one single item. Sorry!

          • Adney

The Publix in my area limits 4 coupons for 4 identical items.  They also have little cards in the sales rack that has their coupon policy on one side and the list of their competitor's stores (stores they will accept coupons from) on the other side.  This is really helpful to me, b/c I shop at 2 different stores, depending on which end of town I'm on at the time, and each store accepts different competitors.

    • Cubscats

anyone in tn know if any stores are selling the paper for 99 cents?

      • Cidadams

In my area Dollar Tree and Walmart both sell the Sunday paper for 1.00. Since the Extreme Couponing show you have to be at Walmart by 9:00 on Sunday morning or they are all gone! The checkers have told me that people are buying them 20 and 30 at a time.

      • Murpheeboy

Dollar Tree sells the paper for a $1…most newspaper companys sell  additional papers to you for a reduced rate if you already have a subscription.

    • Waveleng

For those of you in the greater Atlanta area, the discounted news link above is having a good deal on the Sunday & Thursday home delivery for $8.62 per month.  That's $2.15 for the two papers each week, and saves on gas.

    • Mom_of _Trips

      Yayyyy, food coupons!

    • pug777

I am one of very few male couponers in my area.  Always get strange looks going up and down the isles with my binder.  Been couponing since May and I save a bundle.  My average is 63% savings on all food and household products.  So many people ask me to teach them how to do this.  For the men out there, just know that you can do this too.  Once you learn the technique, and change your shopping habits, it will become second nature.  Thanks Jenny for this site, my boys and I have made it through a tough couple of months because of what you do.  Also have lots of  expired coupons to send to military families.  Would like to send a large packet to a base.  Anyone have an address?

      • Alan

Get in touch with admin@couponstotroops.com and they will set you up with an email address for military families, then you can take it from there.

      • Dbpridgen69

I, too, go to grocery stores, Wal-green, CVS and others to use the coupons I get. I get coupons from other neighbors who do not use them since the paper here has to destroy ALL the extra coupons they have left. That is right, they HAVE to shred them all due to a contract.

      • RobfromVA

Hey man, glad to see there are at least a few other dudes out there doing this.  I feel like I'm probably one of the few guys out doing this but that doesn't bother me at all.  Matter of fact when I told me some of my friends about it they initially laughed at me but once I showed them the spoils of my effort it became a different story.  Haha, last week I had some random lady congratulate me for being a guy that coupons, my response was “Why wouldn't I want to save a bunch of money on stuff I need anyway?”  People (especially other guys) might smirk when you tell them you coupon, but I feel like I should be laughing at them for paying full retail on stuff.  It may have been a little uncomfortable doing it a first but now I could care less.

        • pug777

Rob,…..I hear ya.  I was the same way at first and I too could care less. Here is a shout out to the dude couponers.  Just got back from BI-LO's.. $182 for $58.  They know me when I walk up and the cashiers tell me they are glad that someone knows how to organize and coupon correctly.  I shop at one of the BI-LO's featured on the extreme couponer show.  The manager just smiles and most of the time someone in line asks me.. Just how much did you save?  Wish we had some beer coupons,  I bet more men would coupon then.

          • Lisabluedevil

I am raising three boys and plan to teach them how to coupon.  The other day we were at Harris Teeter and saw what appeared to be a young single guy out shopping with a stack of coupons.  I told my oldest son that I hoped he would be doing that one day.  My husband is super supportive, but doesn't have the patience to coupon other than to take a dollars off coupons to Lowe's Hardware.

      • Ehlendtj

You are not alone pug777.  I'm right there with my wife when we do our shopping!!  I'm known to venture out on my own as well.  We are averaging a 60-70% saving on our shopping at CVS, Walgreens and Publix.  We have a nice stockpile already after just a couple months.  We make a great team.  I think if more men knew of the savings they could be getting, they'd be doing it!

        • pug777

Maybe there are more of us male couponers than I realized. I just rarely see them.

          • Ehlendtj

I passed a gentleman last wekend in the aisle at Publix.  He was carrying a big coupon binder and looked to be on a mission!

      • coolcoupondude

i do the shopping at home

      • valerie

I think you are so coool!!
Men should absolutely feel confident saving money, its very sexy to see a man unafraid to do whatever is best for his family.
My family was military growing up so I make a point to send my coupons that expired to families who can use them. I found a website that makes this easy. Go to KrazyKouponLady and they have a link/address on their site. They sort and ship the coupons for you.
        Best wishes, Valerie in Houston

    • Jan

I learned a valuable lesson yesterday . NEVER take your entire binder to the store. I got busy loading the groceries and left the binder in the cart. When I realized I didnt have it I called back to Bilo to see if anyone had turned it in. Then I went to just check around the store and parking lot myself. I will be starting from scratch again. I have only been doing this for 2 months . I was not upset just disappointed. From now on I will just take my list and the coupons for the list . That may mean more trips to get what I see but…..Hope that someone is enjoying my Qs.

      • Clmjdm63

Sorry to hear that happened to you.  Here is what I do it may help :)  I bought a zipper binder that has a strap on it.  I put a zipper supply pouch in there and when I use a coupon I put it in there.  Then when I get to the check out I pull that zipper supply pouch out with all the coupons I used and zip my binder and put it on my shoulder.  That works the best for me.  Jan if you don't mind sending me your address or email it to me at clmjdm63@yahoo.com i might have some coupons I can send you.

        • Jan

thanks so much for the offer. That is so sweet. I will be OK . Since I fairly new to all this I think I can regroup and get going again. My first goal was to get my stocking stuffers for my grown kids and I had just about completed that goal . So I am Happy.
          Thanks for the tips too!

      • Tonjatjmom

I too am sorry to hear this.. happened to me when I first started couponing.. it is a disappointing lesson.. here is what I do/did… First I have a big purse I only use when I grocery shop.. so my coupon holder fits in it.. I bought one of those expandable plastic things at one of the office supply stores.. I wrote my name and address all over it.. inside and out..and even have return address labels on it.. the little sections help me alot.. as I put my list in one.. and my q's in another.. and as I get the product I pull the q and put it in the very first section. so by the time I get to the register I have all the q's ready to hand to the cashier.. and I put the holder back in my purse.. the purse is a cross body things.. so I dont turn away and leave my purse in the buggy.. I was real bad about that..now everything is right with me.. made shopping easier for me.. plus I have my list and whatever q's I didnt use still in there.. about once a month I sort it all out and start again.. I actually did leave it in the buggy again.. but.. someone did turn it in this time.. I think because it was so “tacky” with my name and address all over it.. that they didnt want to keep it ..lol… I too would love to share my q's with u.. send me an address or email with what u might need..

        • Jan

thanks so much for the offer. That is so sweet. I will be OK . Since I fairly new to all this I think I can regroup and get going again. My first goal was to get my stocking stuffers for my grown kids and I had just about completed that goal . So I am Happy.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I just wanted to drop in to let you know that the offer you made to the other poster about sharing coupons and the tips you gave were so admirable. Your post was so touching. Way to go!!! I love it:)

      • gardengirl

Jan, the same thing happened to me.  I had just bought my zippered binder about 2 weeks earlier.  I now put my car key in my binder and when I get my key out, I put my binder on my shoulder and put it in the car first then my groceries.

Does anyone know of any South Carolina (or even North Carolina) papers which usually have the Target inserts?  We are around Florence & the Morning News paper does not ever have the Target coupons like those listed above. Thanks!

      • Elizabeth

I usually get the Target inserts from the State Paper. But sometimes the insert doesnt have the actuatl coupons, however, I do go to the Target website, type in coupon in the search box and tons of coupons come up that you can print from home. Hope this helps some!

        • Anne

Thanks Elizabeth.  I also check the Target website & print coupons, but I was hoping The State would sometimes have inserts with Target coupons.  I may check it out this coming Sunday to see, as I can get The State locally.  I know some of my friends in other states get Target coupons in their Sunday papers, so I am going to be watching for them.  Have you noticed at the bottom of the Target home page there is an option for “Coupons”?  I usually click that to get to the printable coupons.

          • Pixie

North carolina has target inserts from the news&observer!

      • Littlemommyshannon

The news and observer usually does its a raleigh paper but is sold all over!

    • Clineleann

Does anyone recommend buying coupons on eBay or the best way to get coupons?? Everytime I buy newspapers coupons are missing, and a waste of money!

      • Sweetnurse01

I have purchased coupons from eBay several times and was happy with each purchase.  I received them in only 2 days and paying for them, so I highly recommend buying from ebay.

      • Joedee98

I use wholecouponinserts.com and have never had a problem with them!  Couponbeat.com is good too!

      • penny

I bought newspapers from CVS last week.  They keep their papers behind the desk so no one can take the coupons.

      • Hgblevins

I always look in the paper before I purchase it to make sure the coupons are there.

      • Coupon crazy

I buy some on ebay. Be sure of the expiration date before you buy.

      • Trinitychristiandc

I do it all the time and has never been disappointed. Like Clineleann said look at exp dates. read ALL details!

      • Angelgodesscutey

I always check my paper before purchasing it anymore. That has happened to one of my friends countless times.

        • kepkitty

how can you check the paper if its in a box? you already put your money in there?

    • Eric

Can you use Register Rewards at Walgreens to purchase newspapers?

Hey guys I saw earlier in the conversation someone saying that you could only use Target Qs with Manf. Q in Target and Publix, but wanted to let everyone know Walmart lets me do it too.

      • Murpheeboy

Not according to Wal Mart's coupon policy…only 1 coupon per item.

      • Coupon crazy

It can't be done in Walmart on Harbison in Columbia, SC.

    • Zelda

Just got back from dumpster diving…..LOL….It was a great day!….best way to get Q's if u have a recycle place that will let you.

      • Jenny

do you have to ask permission from the city to do that?

        • Zelda

I didn't….just asked the little old man that sits there all day….I've been cutting up with him for years and just asked him one day if i could look ….I take him care packages now….give back to those in need!

    • Ronna43

Hey guys, does anyone know how to get the publix coupon booklet that has the 5.00 off 30.00 purchase and has the nivea and axe coupons along with alot others. Can u buy target or publix coupons from ebay or just manu. coupons?

    • BLUEEYES35224

Walgreen's has one for $2.00 off in the August Flyer

    • Jessdare101

I have a very coupon friendly cashier at CVS who is trying to start couponing. She didn't get a paper last week and now regrets it. Is there anyone who has any extra skippy, marcal,or 7th generation coupons they would like to share? She would also like to have the $1/1 mueller's whole grain pasta coupon from several weeks ago. I'm trying to help her get some of the “good” coupons especially for super doubles at Harris Teeter. Please leave me a comment if you can help me out.

      • Mrs. M

Maybe you guys can go on ebay and find those inserts or buy the coupons individually. I love buying coupons off of ebay and its a great way for new couponers to start because you buy old and new inserts. And really cheap too:)

      • Mommaof1

In most cities you can go to your newspaper office and get the paper from previous Sunday's.

    • Luna2k79

Hey may sound cracy but for me anything for coupon lol what i do when i have the oportunity is way for the day,the people take the garbage out and go around, and get the news paper is ok to get them from the garbage i dit great early this morning…

Thank you!

    • Angelgodesscutey

Rite aid started limiting thier gillette fusions to 2 per wellness card. Does anyone know when it resets? Is it at the end of the week or month?

      • Sweets6723

I opened up a card in my moms name and one in my husbands name using his parents address….So i could get 6 razors!!

      • Ummguilty

You You can get the gillette fusions at dollar general for 6.00 everyday. Minus the 4.00 coupon makes it 2.00. One cent higher than rite aide. NO LIMIT!

    • morethanenough

Is there a Harris Teeter ANYWHERE in the the Atlanta, GA area?

      • edubby

        Nope.  :(

    • KayBee

Just got back from buying my Saturday Early Edition AJC papers. There is NOT 4 inserts in mine! Only 2!   :'-(   There's one RP & one SS. If anyone else gets the AJC paper, please let me know if you got the same thing as me, or if you got more inserts. I've tried contacting AJC to ask how many inserts there's supposed to be, but of course they are closed. Thanks!

      • Mgnsoeder

I only got 3 I'n all of mine.. 2 big and one really small one.. I didn't even see it at first!

      • Coupon Tonia

I had 1 RP and 1 SS and 1 tiny one that looked like it was a Box Tops one. So very disappointed there wasn't a Target one:(

      • Sofia

Yup, same here. Didn't get the second SS insert.

      • Barbe

I had 3, 2 SS & 1 RP. I had been waiting all week on the Target one to add to my other coupons for use at Publix. Ugh. Hopefully they'll put those coupons on their site so we can print them.

      • Christen Cook

I just got my AJC early edition… I only got 2 inserts. One red plum, one General Mills. NO target, NO smart source :(

      • cg

Same here! Got my street hawker AJC today (Sat) and only got the Red Plum and the Smart Source. Now that the street hawker price is 1.50 I will probably just fork over the extra 25 cents per paper to get the double paper at Kroger. This doesn't happen often, but it's happened a few times and that is enough to be irritating.

        • Mblake

I wouldn't bother with the double pack… I've found that the early edition is usually lacking in coupons pretty consistently. The lack of coupons in the early edition is much more than the meager savings of $.50 for a double pack over just buying two final editions. Still, check those papers before you buy them to make sure the inserts are there.

      • Jen

Mine only had SS.  I'm not happy!  This has been happening often to me. Maybe it's time I think about ordering from AJC

      • Coco

I just went to purchase my AJC's at Kroger and I looked through all the papers there ( at least 50 papers) and only found five that had all four inserts. I don't really know what the deal is but it's extremely frustrating. And there was a pattern to it also, all the papers that were missing the additional SS were also missing the Target insert. So, I don't know where to go to find these “missing” coupons. At first I thought maybe the extra inserts were regional when I failed to locate a paper in the beginning with four inserts, however, I now realize they are suppose to be there.

      • Mblake

The early edition of the AJC these days seems to have fewer or missing coupons as the norm. I won't buy the double packs because the early edition is always lacking. I've had better luck with the final edition and since the double pack is only $.50 less it's not a better deal since you loose MUCH more than that in the missing coupons.

      • vhap

In my place (CT), sometime sunday early (sold saturday) doesnt have a complete set, but the sunday version always have all, last month it happened twice. I always check before I pay the paper..:-)

      • vhap

now, I buy sunday paper from dollar tree store, priced only $1, I got $2 for 2 sets, make sure to come early, its gone pretty fast..:-)

      • Brewerlisam

I get the Sunday home delivery of AJC (Canton, GA) and mine had 1(SS), 1 (RP), and 2 Building Box Tops which are exactly the same so I assume that was a fluke.  I also got 1 Green Adv Publix but no Target.

      • MC

I got the two SS & one RP no Target in the home delivery version.  I've always been able to call AJC on Sundays when they've failed to deliver my paper (or left out a coupon insert), and they've always sent someone out within an hr or two with a replacement.  Don't have the # written down.  I always just go online and find it.  Haven't yet been able to figure out whether to call about the Target insert yet.

    • Tamlbur

    • Sis2

      Gosh, that's illegal, you know.

    • Carolyn

Target had Ziplock bags (2 for $5) I tried to use a target coupon for $1 off and they wouldn't let me do it. Said they were on sale so couldn't use a coupon. Is this right?

      • Sarahbooker23

No way! Their coupon policy states one mfr coupon and one store coupon per item unless using BOGO coupons! So I would go to the store manager with a printed copy of their policy from their website!

      • vhap

No, I guess some cashiers doesnt even have idea about how to ring transactions with coupons :-P
Carolyn, please check target coupon policy, it say clearly about how to use coupon at target:

      • No, That's not correct…

      • Coupons090

        no.talk to customer service.

    • Couponcrazy99

AJC only has 3 inserts this week :(  (1) RP (1) SS and (1) box tops??

      • Aztecblondie

The box tops products were the 2nd Smartsource insert.

        • Henderson_steph

I picked up two AJC's, both from the same location at the same time. One of them had both SS. The other copy only had one. Go figure!

    • Internet coupons can be traced back to your IP address. You will be banned from the site (smart source, bricks etc) and will not be able to print more coupons from them. You can be fined up to $10,000 and face up to 25 years in prison.

So can the person you sent the coupon to, even if they didn't know it was copied.

If you do this, I hope you're caught.

      • Shannon

Is it illegal if you don't try to use the coupon too? Wouldn't it be that if the coupon is only redeemed once that it wouldn't matter which person redeems its?

        • Its not illegal then. The problem is, you can't be sure someone else didn't use it.

Also, don't give others your printables unless you trust them 100%. If they copy one you gave them, you can get into trouble as it will be YOUR IP that was traced.

    • Jessica Patrick

That's a MAJOR NO NO and is one of the reasons that stores are starting to get irritated with honest people using coupons to help with the grocery bill. Shame on you!

    • Nikestarzz

I hope the Tampa Tribune has the Target insert, but as it's looking right now I don't have my hopes up! Does anyone know if it was in there? Thanks

      • gramluella

        I got all 4

        • Charlette Geer

          Where are you located

    • Angdalton

I am new to couponong and have a question.  Can I use the target coupon for 1.00 off wisk along with a manufacturer coupon I have for 2.00 off wisk?  If so, do they have to be used at target, or could I use them together at Harris Teeter?  Thanks…still learning..

      • Tina

I do not think that Harris Teeter will accept the Target coupon.  You can use both the Target coupon and Manufacturer's coupon at Target.

    • Beccabara84

Well im in cherokee north carolina on vacation and their papers suck! Only 1 insert rp.

    • Linda

Winston Salem, NC only had 1 Red Plum, 1 Smart Source.

    • Deesc38

I got the Smartsource, Redplum and box tops in Augusta, GA.  I had to look through it twice because one of them was kind of stuck to the walmart flyer.  What does the Target ad look like maybe I am just not sure what I am looking for?

    • Coupons090

good morning .home delivery jacksonville fl. no target and no smart source #2 (the smaller one)

      • i only got smart source. i live in jax

        • Coupons090

there should have been more.we should all give them a call at 9 am  to figure out what it going on. if not we can sit back and pay for coupons that someone else is getting.they may not even know of this problem, unless we bring it to their attention .my mom said that the ga times or the brunswick news had an article on coupon theft this very week. mabe its not theft . its just a case of not having enuff to fill all the papers this would be nice to know. but i would expect to have a full set of what ever this area gets in the home delivered ones!

    • $.75 LMAO!!!! that's just funny.. Ladies chill out this person just did this to make you all mad… I've seen it before..

    • WATCH OUT !!! don't throw ur paper out just yet, There is a Mcdonalds Coupon in the USA today flyer

      • Aztecblondie

Thanks for the heads up.  Mine was in the Parade magazine.  Whoo hoo!  Love me some free stuff!

      • Brewerlisam

Thanks for the heads up.  Just found mine.  Kids will love this after a hot day at band practice

    • Ilabartoe

disappointed. I went to walmart and only had one really small red plum insert in the paper and I bought 2 papers. Thought there would be more. :(

    • hyestrada

Good morning! Hickory, NC…no Target. Boo! :o(

      • Ahedrick88

Hickory NC also.  1 redplum 1 smart source and no Herbashine coupons Boo!  Even Wal-greens advertises that there will be some.

    • Brannum_marsha

I live in an area where there is no Target.  Will WalMart take the Target coupons?

      • Aroberts14

My local walmart doesn't take target coupons

    • cindharb

Home delivery of Asheville Citizen Times had Box Tops, Red Plum, and one SmartSource.  No 2d SS or Target coupons; just a normal Target ad.  Charlotte rack paper had one SS, one RP and nothing else.

      • cindharb

Turns out the one that's entitled Box Tops has the coupons that Jenny has listed as the second Smart Source.

      • Jlaleonard

My Charlotte paper had Only 1 Red Plum and No Target. How much does the Asheville Citizen home delivery cost? Are the coupons better than Charlotte? Does it come early or on time? I may need to subscribe to another paper or for inserts as the Charlotte paper is short a lot lately due to a promo they  are doing.

        • cindharb

For Sunday delivery, you can often get a special price where AC-T is about $90 per year.  The coupons are vastly inferior to Charlotte, esp Red Plum.  Asheville comes  on time but I live in Asheville.  If you don’t, I couldn’t speculate what the timing would be.

    • Chris

Bham news had one SS, and thats it :-(

      • kendall

I just experienced the same let-down. I was SO excited to get all the great coupons. At least I know it isn't just my newspaper stand. Thanks for posting this!

    • Aztecblondie

North Atlanta home delivery of AJC.  I had all but the Target.

      • Rae

Same here. The CVS (and at least early edition at Publix) at Oglethorpe Crossing was missing the small SS, but got the RP and 2 SS at CVS on P'tree industrial.

    • Heatherb99

      does bi-lo take target coupons?

    • sweetpea

Anybody in the Carrollton area seen any Target coupons in their papers today?

      • Neverrestranch

I'm in the Cton area and didn't get the target coupons either.  :(

    • Lwhetzel624

did anyone get the target insert, I did not in Orlando Fl

      • Kendra_lue

I only got a Red Plum and a Smart Source in my Sentinel

      • Sharon123

I got the Target in my delivered paper, but the one I bought at the store did not have it.

      • Amhebb

no target in my sentinel either

    • Dwhite27

Need help, live in Pooler GA and trying to find the closest place to drive and get Georgia Union Times for Sunday coupons.  Unfortunately Savannah Paper coupons fall short. Thank you

    • Cd_dk2

Live in southern TN…not only do we not get all the coupons anymore they are now posting signs that you can not look through the paper until you have purchased the paper……………..oh yeah they don't seem to mind to go up on their prices either.

      • Lisabveal

The cashier at the quickie mart near us always fusses when I look through the paper first.  She gets all red in the face and indignant.  I just smile at her and keep thumbing through it.

        • ireneY

LOL! You should thank her for being a coupon police — making sure no one steals the inserts! Oh, and I can't believe there's a real Quickie Mart! Does Abu work there?!!

        • Diana Cates

I like to look at papers first…I've purchased too many in the past that did not contain inserts

    • Ctw1021

I only received 2 inserts, 1 Smart Source and 1 Red Plum. They were pretty thick but missing the coupons for Pillsbury and Betty Crocker, etc. Live in Maryville, TN by the way…This was The Daily Times. I'm going to go get the Knoxville paper, the News Sentinel soon and see if their is a difference.

      • Bessie

My Knoxville News Sentinel only had 1 Smart Source and 1 Red Plum. Did the News Sentinel you bought have 4 inserts?

        • Andblant

I have 6 KNS's delivered to home.  Some had 2  SS and 1 RP, no targets,

Some were short the  Box Tops for Educ (General Mills, #2 SS)  More regional coupons than I have ever seen since I have been  organizing and filing by week in Word (over a yr).

          • Bessie

Thanks for replying to my post.  I am a News Sentinel subscriber and now that I know that they did have that insert, I have emailed them to see if I can get the SS#2.

    • LisaF.

The Huntsville Times in Alabama only has 1 smartsource, 1 redplum, and the General Mills (which is tiny, almost threw it away).

      • Robin

Well DANG!!!!!! I wonder if the B'ham times has more?

    • Ladyblackwell1

I live in Gaffney SC, I had the paper delivered and I only received 1 insert. Redplum. I'm so mad. I want the other coupons!! I wonder if i went to the store would they be in those.

      • Mickeyclem1981

Charleston, SC – 1 RP, 1SS, 2 McDonald coupons in Parade, Target ad but no coupons

    • Kkaczay1216

I picked up 2 AJCs in Atlanta.  Neither one had the Target insert.

    • Essie Lee

Did not receive a Target insert in Middle Tennessee, the Tennessean. Did get others.

    • Kimcutie

Didn't get the target insert in Charlotte. Bummer!

    • Steph08252001

My experience is that sometime B'ham has better than Tuscaloosa, but that both are poor over all. I had a baby three weeks ago, and since I can't just hop in the car and drive to B'ham for the papers, I am ordering mine online. I have not figured out how to get the Target one though.

    • Mom_of _Trips

Seriously. This was a great week for food coupons. Why so many complaints?! The “second ss” wasn't there but all those coupons were in the box tops insert! I only didn't get the Target one and my panities aren't in a bunch one bit. In fact, I also had an add for .99 papers delivered for the Tennessean! Huge savings since publix only has them for 1.75 again…

      • Sha08

People are complaining because even though this was a great week for food coupons , they paid  for a paper and didn't get the great food coupons that would be my guess..

        • Fjvaughan

there were also lots of coupons from target that i can use a publix this week to really save $

        • Butterfinger_5568

Not many food coupons in the Tennessean tat I bought at Krogers.Only 1 RP insert…

    • Sha08

In the Atlanta area and didn't receive the Target insert or the 2nd SS.. Did anyone get the Target?

      • Fjvaughan

we got 2 ss  and redplumbut no target

    • Tori

Did anyone get the Targrt insert??

      • Eric

nope. Only got 2SS and 1RP in the Greenville News.

        • Sarah

I only got 1 SS and 1 RP in my 4 Greenville News'

      • Brewerlisam

    • Eric

    • MC

I've been planning on trying Jenny's suggestion of using an acordian folder with each week's coupons rather than spending hrs every Sunday clipping and organizing coupons like I've been doing. For 7/31 and 8/7, I got a number of coupons from AJC that weren't on Jenny's list.  I was concerned because I wondered if these would get “paired” up on her store listings, so I cked her coupon database.  Most were there but not all (ex.  Vita-K Professional product SS 7/31,  Cheese Head product SS 7/31,).

If I go with the acordian file method, I could potentially miss using some coupons that I have unless I do something about these “extras”.   What do ya'll do?  Just go ahead and clip/organize the extras so you can find them? Something else?  Thanks for your thoughts/suggestions!

      • Julie

I do the accordian file method and what I do is copy and paste this list onto a spreadsheet. I make adjustments to the list after I copy it though. First, I move the amount of the Q into the 2nd column so that the first column is the name of the product only, the 3rd column is expiration date, the 4th is insert date and the 5th is what insert it's in.  Then I remove the Qs that aren't in my insert and add the “extras”. By keeping it on a spreadsheet I can keep one big master list and sort them ALL alphabetically. This keeps my like coupons together (in case a Q comes out for a product before the previous one expires) and I can see which one expires first and make sure I use them. I then take this list and email it to myself and then I can open it on my phone instead of having to print it each week. An easier method for you would be to just transfer them onto the spreadsheet, remove what you don't have, add the extras, then print that and keep it with that week's inserts.

        • MC

Thanks for your thoughts!  I'd love to see your spreadsheet.  Do you use formulas to separate into columns or do you do it manually.  Also, I assume you add any internet ones you print, too.  Thanks so much for your thoughts!

          • Julie

I don’t use any formulas, I do it all the old fashioned way. I just like using the spreadsheet vs. word document because then I can sort things easier. It also makes it easier to delete the expires Qs because I can sort by expiration date and then delete all the rows at once, then resort them alphabetically.

I have an old copy of my spreadsheet on google docs from where I was trading coupons with someone. I’m going to try to paste the link here, hope it works.

            • MC

Hey Julie:  I'd be happy to share my version with the formulas that allows you to just cut and paste the list from the website into one column.  The formulas do the splitting for you (product, price, exp date).  Because all the entries aren't keyed exactly the same, there are a few stragglers that you have to correct, but it still should be much faster than keying it all manually. Once you have it like you want it, you can copy/paste values into your database.  I've posted it to google docs but can't figure out how to get a link to put here for you.  :(

          • Julie

I just typed up a response with a link for my spreadsheet. It has to be moderated first because of the link, hopefully it will show up. My comment said that I enter everything manually, no formulas. I just like the spreadsheet because it makes it easier to sort things. I can even sort by expiration to easily delete Qs that have expired. Oh, and yes, I do add internet ones and any random ones I find that are in my smaller file, like tearpads.

        • MC

I was able to use a combo of =right(), =left(), =mid(), = find() formulas to do this.  Thanks for getting me thinking along these lines!

    • Eric

anyone have suggestions where to use the $1.50 off Springer Mountain Farms chicken coupon? I have Bi-Lo, Publix, Food Lion, and Ingles in my area (as well as Walmart, Kmart, Target)

      • AD

Publix and Bi-Lo both carry Springer Mountain Farms chicken.  Don't know about Ingles.  I have never seen it in any of the other stores.

      • cindharb

    • Danielle

Did anyone get the Target insert in the Orlando Sentinel?

      • Rantmann

I did in my home newspaper, but when I went to the store to buy my extra one it didn't have it.

    • kitkat

no Target insert in NW GA, and I also didn't see any Tidy Cat coupons…anyone have those?

    • Stormys9

Did anyone in Jacksonville FL get the Target Insert?

      • Tanya

No, I didn't get a Target insert.  There wasn't a Red Plum insert and only one smart source in there.  Did you get the Red Plum?

      • Debbie

Nope.  I got 1 RP, 1 SS, and 1 box tops for ed (I guess the second SS).  I was hoping to see those Target coupong too.

      • Bayandtaysmom

Nope…I received the same as Debbie…checked with my newspaper lady and she says that Target was not listed as a coupon insert to receive.

    • The Tennessean only had 1 Red Plum and 1 Smart Source.  No 2nd SS or Target coupons, but I did find 2 McDonalds coupons (for a free smoothie and Caramel Mocha) in side the USA Weekend.

      • Butterfinger_5568

I  live in Tennessee and at the Krogers where I buy my Sunday paper they only had 1 RP insert. The paper guy was there and handing the papers out personally,He said it only had 1 insert this week.Very dissappointed!!!

        • It had one red plum and one smart source.  I got mine out of the paper box outside of Vanderbilt Hospital.

        • Lfleming67

I'm in Mt. Juliet, Tn just outside of Nashville and my paper had 2 of each of the SS a RP and 18 Pulix Green Adv. Buy.  SCORE!!

          • Mom_of_Triplets

Jackpot here too. I bought 5. and 2 of them had 2 of the big SS in them! That puts me with 7 SS, 5 box top inserts (the 2nd ad of SS listed), 5 RP, and 5 Publix. FTW  :) Plus they are running a 99cent add so I ordered 5 per sunday DELIVERED. yay

        • Alhickman

I live in Cookeville and the only paper here that has the inserts is the Tennessean and there was only 1 rp. I was so dissappointed.

      • Mom_of_Triplets

I got 5 Tennesseans and they all had a “2nd SS” it was just called “box tops for education” and had all the coupons listed in the 2nd SS preview…

    • Beautifulone527

How do you find out what coupon inserts are going to be in your area? Got only one Red Plum insert today. :( Very frustrated.

    • Couponmomma1976

Greenville News, in SC, only had 1 RP and 1 SS. : (

      • Kcross

I bought the Greenville News in Greenville, SC and got 2 SS and 2 RP.

        • Eric

Kcross, where did you buy yours?

    • LouisvilleShopper

In our paper I got 1 SS, 1 RP, 1 Boxtops for Education insert. No Target coupons here either. This is the Louisville, KY Courier Journal.

    • Userpar360

I live in Alabama & only got 1 red  plum:(

    • guest

Before you purchase a Sunday newspaper check to make sure you have coupon inserts. I purchase a paper it had a rubber band around it didn't think nothing of it until I got home. No coupon inserts extra weekly ads.

    • Slphall

I didn't get any salespapers or coupons at all!!! That was in the Commercial Appeal in tn. :(

    • Some areas may see coupon inserts in their postal mailbox Tuesday or Wednesday. It's possible that the Target coupons may be as well. Looking at that list, I hope to find the Target coupons.

    • momto2

Hey there, I am new to this site but have been following everyones comments. I'm in Northeast TN and our paper only ever has the RP and its only a partial one. Does anyone in this area know what paper is the best for getting coupons? I have purchased the Jonesborough paper on Tuesdays and it has been having one SS but I'm not sure if it will have both this week or not.

    • No Target insert in the AJC delivered here in Covington, GA. I found 1 SS, 1 RP and the second SS was all General Mills. Went and bought another paper in town, did not have one either. Covington Newspaper only had a thin SS. The “Parade” in the AJC had a card with 2 free McDonalds McCafe WYB salad, etc.
