    • Jjpainter

      What is the CVS insert?

      • Jjpainter

        Never mind it came up…

    • Anonymous

Still can’t believe it I just got a $827.89 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://jmb.tw/52bf

    • Kati3878

This might be a stupid question, but I can’t recall if I have ever received anything with CVS coupons in the paper. So my question is this: Is this insert in addition to the CVS sale ad and are the coupons in it store or manufacturer  coupons? Still learning the ropes when it comes to couponing. :)

      • This is a first for CVS, the insert is in addition to your CVS ad and other inserts!

        • Kati3878

          Awesome!! Thank you!

        • Dharvn

Actually CVS used to have cpns in their ad before they went paperless with the extracare program….the stopped printing cpns in the ads about 9 or 10 years ago.

        • shoppin’ daddy

Jenny, I didn’t get a CVS insert in the VA PILOT; I had one delivered and bought one at the Dollar Tree.  Neither one had the CVS insert.

    • Rubies20

i got my local paper today and the cvs coupon insert was in it

      • Alitacoup

Your Sunday paper? How do you get it so early?

    • gravler

Can the CVS coupons be stacked with manufacture coupons?

      • dblove

      • Mrscori2006

only if they are CVS store coupons…if they say “can be redeemed at CVS” but have manufacturer’s coupon printed across the top then it can’t be stacked

    • Thank you, Jenny!

    • Kelly

Does anyone want Laughing Cow Cheese or Hormel Compleats microwave meal coupons? email me kellygray114@yahoo.com

    • most of the coupons in the cvs insert say manufacture coupon, there are only a few that say store coupon, so stacking with those won’t work right??????

    • Anonymous

Will the CVS’s insert coupons be regional like Smart Source and Red Plum are?  Or will each CVS insert have all the coupons listed above?

I’m looking forward to this since I can never find the Reinventing Beauty magazine….nor do most of the stores I’ve asked in know anything about it.  When I ask they look at me like I’m speaking of a magazine from another country!

      • Katie

They are going to stop making the reinventing beauty mag so you won’t have to worry about that anymore.

    • Thank you SouthernSaver I can now decide if I should purchase a paper or sleep late.

    • Dpheffer

Are the $7 Crest Whitestrips just for Target or can you use them at other places such as Walmart?

      • Alexander

You can use it at walmart

    • Squirrelhater

      Wow!Another stinker.

    • On the CVS insert, will those be man. coupons or store-only coupons?

      • Anonymous

it looks like a little of both, with not a lot of cvs coupons. a little weird if it’s a cvs insert.

    • leaz

I’m not even going to bother buying papers this weekend. :(

    • Amym850

Does anyone know if the Browny coupon (.50) can be used on single rolls? TY

      • KOakman00

yes they work @ scotts if they dont notice.. so i used them when i bought other things

      • Chris

If the Q doesn’t specify a size then yes – otherwise if it specifies a size then you should use it on that size or whatever the terms of the Q are.  Just because the person below says they can be used “if they dont notice” doesn’t mean they are supposed to be.

you can have all my irish deordorant and soft soaps dont need them,mwf52@yahoo.com

    • Leestout

Coupons seem less than exciting this week. Ii never leave a comment but this week is disappointing.

      • Chris

I have to disagree.  Everyone keeps posting that they’re disappointed this week but for me this is one of the better weeks.  There’s at least $10 in Qs that I can use when the last few weeks it’s been spotty at best.  I’m looking forward to getting my AJC delivered, confirming what I want is in there, then heading out to pick-up some papers.  I guess to each their own – Happy Couponing!

    • Penny

Do the CVS cpns really exp on 10/01, as I’ve been reading elsewhere?  I have to order my inserts, and don’t receive them till Wed., so it really wouldn’t be worth getting that insert if they all expire 2 days later.

    • bruuu

Did NOT get the CVS insert in either of my papers. . . =[  I even got the paper from CVS. Very disappointed. . .

    • Monicagilbert78

How did you get your coupons early? I didn’t think they came out until tomorrow.

      • June

Many places (Atlanta area) does a Sunday Early edition on Saturday after lunch

    • Anonymous

Did anyone that gets the AJC delivered get the CVS insert?

      • Alana262

I’m in Tampa FL area and I can’t find a CVS insert in the Tribune either.:(

        • Kati3878

I didn’t get it in the Times either. :(

      • Anonymous

No CVS insert in the AJC.  Blah!

      • Chris

Not in the AJC or MDJ in Cobb.  A little irritated about it too – usually the home delivered version has all of the inserts and you just have to watch out when buying them in-store.  And the preview of available Qs was exciting but now that I have the inserts what I got leaves a LOT to be desired.  :-/

    • Highlyfavored30

What happen to PG coupouns? It’s the last Sunday in the month. Am I missing something?

      • Normally the PG comes out on the first Sunday of the month (or the closes Sunday). So if for instance tomorrow was October 1st, we would have had PG this Sunday, but October 1st in next Sunday, so it should be in there.

At least that’s how I understand it!

        • Highlyfavored30

          Thank you for the clarification.

    • Jacquewilson57

Wondering if someone could help me out?  I want to start ordering my inserts, but not sure of a safe, reliable and quick site to go to.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

      • Point2pam

Purchasing coupon inserts is illegal. No matter how its masked (i.e clipping services) Be wary.

        • Guest

          its not illegal?

        • Chris

Well it’s not illegal but it is against the terms of the coupons typically – most Qs say may not be sold or transferred so buying them would mean the seller is in violation of the terms.  The CIC doesn’t like it and is trying to crack down – the place to be wary is ebay since those Qs are sometimes tearpad or peelie or blinkie Qs (which would be why you can’t ever find them in stores or on products).

      • Mandy

Hey , if I may make a suggestion, there’s a site called “Sunday Coupon Inserts”, they have whole uncut inserts , along with previews so you can see which coupons you’re getting . I have used this site quite  a few times and I have always gotten my inserts delivered in the mail with no problems. I don’t work for them, I’m just a loyal customer , I hope this info helps

    • HALREL

No Red Plum and no CVS insert.  My SS didn’t have any of the good coupons:(

    • Kati3878

My coupon inserts left A LOT to be desired. No CVS insert in the 3 papers I purchased and the 2 that my friend purchased. And these were bought inside a store. Very disappointed, but I was happy that I found 2 $1 off Soft Soap Body Wash in one of the inserts. This made my Body Wash Free! :)

    • Rixie

Not even ONE of my 4 papers had the CVS inserts.

    • I didn’t get the CVS insert either.  Got 3 papers, 2 from a store and one delivered.

    • Jennifer Hollar

My paper had the CVS coupon insert, but it’s really confusing. Says it’s a manufacturer Q on the top, not “CVS Coupon” (and the manf is the one reimbursing the store for the q), but then it has all the CVS info on it with the matchups from the paper. Since it says Manf Q, I’m guessing you won’t be able to use it in conjunction with a regular manf q.

      • Anonymous

Are you in the Atlanta Metro area?

      • Chris

AH!  So that’s how they’re going to stick it to ya – they’re “CVS” Qs but not really so you can’t stack.  Evil coupon devils ;-)

      • Grocerys4us

Some of the coupons say “Store Coupon” at the top and do not start with a “5” so I think you may be able to stack those. I am pretty sure Bilo will stack them also.

    • LisaF

Chattanooga has all 3 inserts. Does anyone know what the Knoxville paper has?

    • Anonymous

I didn’t get the CVS insert and would love to have 1 of the $2 Q for Emergen-C.  Does anyone have 1 that they would like to trade. I would happily send you any diaper or other kids product Q that I have in return. Tks!

      • Renee

Got CVS insert in Louisville Ky.  I have 3 that I would happily send to you.  I don’t have small children so there is no trade needed.  I would be glad someone could use it.

        • Anonymous

That is so nice of you! My email is neverrestranch@netzero.net. If you will send me your email address, I will send my address. Tks!! If you think of any other Qs you’d like, let me know, and I’ll send if I have them. Tks again!

    • Rixie

Ok I have a question, I don’t want to use my coupons unethically so I wanted to know if this is fraud or not.  I have coupons for $1/1 Purina Crispies Cat Treats.  I was going to buy those and get them for .48 each.  Then the new inserts have coupons for B1 Purina Friskies Brand Treat (any size, any variety) and G1 Crispies Treats Free.  My plan was to buy (7) Crispies Treats (.48 each) and then use 4 B1G1 Coupons to get 4 more free. is that wrong or ok to do since it says ANY variety????

      • Chris

There’s nothing wrong with that.  I plan on doing the same thing when I go to PetSmart today.  My “kids” will all be very happy when I get home.

        • Rixie

haha I’m going to get mine at Walmart because they’re $1.48 each there

          • Chris

Yes but if you stack the 15% PetSmart Q with the $2off10 Pet Supermarket Q it ends up being a great deal at PetSmart – and PetSmart will price match ANY competitor (I always price match Walmart on the Breeze litter and pads).  I just hate Walmart and prefer PetSmart (plus for some reason my cats don’t like what I buy at Walmart – I guess it’s been sitting on the shelf too long).

            • Chris

BTW – Target has a BOGO Q for the Friskies Party Mix that you could stack with that Crispies manuf Q and get 2 bags wyb one.  I have a stack of Qs for my trip today and plan on getting about $300 worth of food and litter and toys for about $100 with price matching and Q stacking.  Good luck with your trip!

            • Rixie

Wow sounds like you got your plan all ready to go! I’m still a little nervous about this deal. I’m new to couponing so I hope I do this right.  Can you do me a huge favor and break it down so I can feel better about getting these treats?  How are you going to do it?

Hope that helps!  The above assumes I won’t have any issues with comp Qs which I don’t usually do (price matching I’ve never had an issue with) so we’ll see how it goes – I may have to adjust on the fly.  I try to keep 2 to 3 months of food and litter in the house so at least I know they’ll be cared for in the short term.

            • Rixie

I have (7) $1/1 Friskies Crispies and (4) B1 Friskies Treat (any) G1 Friskies Crispies.  Do I get 11 Bags and pay .30 each or 15 bags and pay .62each? I’m so confused

            • Chris

You would buy 11 – pay for 7 and get 4 free.

            • Rixie

Thanks so much! I was able to get 11 bags of Crispies and i had a coupon for a free can of Friskies Indoor 5.5oz all for $4.64 with tax! woot!

Awesome!  I got all of my stuff below except the litter and paid $90 oop (and that includes a $1 donation to PetSmart Charities).  Saved at least 60% on my total purchase.  Stoked!

And they’re expecting the litter in on Wednesday so they’ll be holding 8 bags for me and will be taking all of my Qs then (even though the 15% off expired today).  I LOVE my PetSmart in Smyrna, GA!

    • The Sun News in Myrtle Beach has all 3 inserts… Yay!

    • Dolcegirl08

I am very confused on this CVS insert. I got the weekly ad but is there another? Please someone explain I am new to this : ) Thanks y’all!

      • Rixie

There is supposed to be a Weekly Ad & a CVS Coupon Insert.  Unfortunately where I am, we just got the weekly ad and no separate insert

        • Jnjtaxi

I have an extra CVS coupon insert if you want it. Just send me an address jnjtaxi@charter.net

    • MSrina

No CVS insert in Hattiesburg, MS. :(

      • MSrina

but my store had a stack by the ads!!

    • Birmingham News purchased in Gadsden, AL only has the CVS coupon insert and Red Plum. No SmartSource.

Luckily my mom is driving home this morning through B’ham so she’s going to pick up a paper from in town so maybe it will have the SS!

    • Pdms3

I got all 3 in Charleston, SC

    • Anonymous

No Smart Source or CVS in Naples, Florida.

    • Grocerys4us

Anderson Independent has all three inserts. Some customers and the cashier thought there were only two, but I kept looking and found the CVS insert. It is not in the CVS ad, but is separate.

I think the Greenville News did not have two of the inserts here in Anderson, SC. I did not pull out more than one to flip through and did not look carefully, so don’t hold me to that.

    • Beaker_87

No CVS insert in “The Charlotte Observer”, Or “The Herald”. North & South Carolina papers : (

    • Lindsay

I’m pretty new to this, and this may be a dumb question..

I got the CVS insert and see that most of the coupons say “Manufacturer’s Coupon” but they list how you can save if you combine them with CVS sales..my question is, could I use these manufacturer’s coupons at other stores? Or just CVS?

      Thanks for any help!

      • Mrh Scott

when it say manufacture coupon you can use it any where along with another store coupon.

      • Rina

some of them say manufacturer on the top but in the print say redeem only at cvs. I’d just ask before you use them to be safe.

    • olivia

No Schick coupons in the South Florida Sun Sentinel SS :( But I did get a whole big page of Publix coupons! They are mostly cheese Qs with 1 or 2 for chicken and sausage.

    • Judy

I did not receive the CVS insert in either of my papers.  I have one delivered and I purchase one at the grocery store. (The Augusta Chronicle, Augusta, GA).

      • Wendy

Thanks for the heads up – that was the only insert I wanted.

    • Rachel1318

      No Redplum or CVS AGAIN!!!

    • Lisa

Didn’t get my CVS insert either.  Augusta Chronicle.  I also wanted to give a heads up on the Greenbagtag.  You might all know about it but it was news to me. You purchase the card for .99 and then an Extra Buck will print on your receipt every 4th visit.  Present your Green bag tag and Extracare card with any reusable bag and purchase.  Ask the staff about them.   Every little bit helps RIGHT????

    • bill

I didn’t get a CVS insert in the VA PILOT; I had one delivered and bought one at the Dollar Tree.  Neither one had the CVS insert.  Did anyone get one in the PILOT?

    • I am fed up with the Augusta Chronicle! Their inserts only have about half coupons everyone else gets. The coupons that are in the inserts are usually repeats and of things I can’t use. I don’t want any more 9 Lives, Tide, Secret, etc. coupons! The extra CVS coupon inserts were not included with my papers either. To make things worse, the cost of the Sunday paper has gone up to $2.00.  I feel like I’m being ripped off!

    • Kim

No CVS insert in the Burlington NC Times News. What a bummer!

    • T5319

I did not get the CVS insert either and I get the Macon Telegraph. In the other two inserts I still did not get all the coupons that was listed to get.

    • Precious2717

I did not get the CVS insert here in Atlanta, Ga. I was looking forward to that body wash coupon. That really ticked me off.

      • Kim

and what”s even more annoying is that th CVS ad in atlannta references the coupon insert!

        • Kim

just called CVS–i  had to change something about my extracare account  Anyway, I asked her about the insert.  She said markets with 10 or less stores didn’t get it.  She saw that Atlanta (The AJC) DID get it–but I guess they didn’t put it in the paper!  She said the insert may have been delayed getting to them.  ??

        • Kym

I live in Atlanta with TONS of CVSs, and I did not get my CVS coupons either!! :-(

    • Linda

No CVS insert here in Fairview, TN.

    • Renlav2001

In Tupelo, The Daily Journal did not include the CVS handout but ask for one, they have a huge stack behind the counter at the CVS on Main St and Gloster. Found out AFTER I had checked out. Bummer.

    • csnowm

The Wilmington Star-News didn’t have ANY coupon inserts…so bummed!

    • Kim

So, I called CVS about the coupon insert.  They said that markets with 10 or less stores didn’t get it included in their paper.  I am in Atlanta, which has 10 stores within 5 miles of my home!  CVS said that Atlanta (AJC) did get the insert but it was either delayed or they just failed to put it in the paper.  I called the AJC and they know nothing about it.  :(

      • Jnjtaxi

I live in Clanton, Alabama and we have not had any coupons for a few weeks now. Three weeks in a row for the Clanton Advertiser…we normally have what’s in the B’ham News on Sunday in the Saturday paper. We had none in the B’ham News this week and just Red Plum last week. What’s up with that??

    • Shirley Lentz

I have recently moved to Albany Ga. I don’t know what newspapers to buy for coupons. Please help. Shirley Lentz
