Awesome Publix List!

For anyone that checked the Publix list Wednesday morning and hasn’t looked at it since then, go and recheck the list!  Thanks to so many of you there are lots of new deals – most for free stuff.

I have also gotten a lot of comments about a $5 off $50 coupon in a booklet at K-Mart that many Publix’s are accepting, and many are reporting that Publix is now accepting their Register Rewards from Walgreens.

In case you didn’t know all of the weekly grocery lists are always changing as people comment or email deals.  So always recheck the list before you head to the store!

You guys are doing better than I am and might not need me soon :)

    • Kathy

Publix has a Huggies pull ups or Good Nites $3 coup in this weeks flyer and there is a $2 in ss 1/11

    • Jennifer

I need you! You always tell me about THE BEST printable coupons and I get more free items that way than I would on my own. I just got back from Publix and had the best customer service. Love Publix!

    • Ashley Millinor

Can you tell me how it works at Publix to use Register Rewards? Do I just take my Walgreens Register Rewards to Publix and they will deduct it from my total. For example: If I have $5 in RR they will take off $5?

    • Jenny

That’s all you need to do. They just treat it like money in a sense. I have never done this personally but i have gotten a lot of people saying that they have and one reader called corporate and was told by corporate that they were taking them.

    • Jamie

The yoplait yogurt is 20 for $10. Do I have to buy 20 to get the sale?

    • Jenny

Nope, they will all ring up as .50 cents. You can also use a coupon from 01/04 SS .40/6 and a target printable for $1 off 8 to get 8 for $2.20.

    • Debbie

Yes, they do accept RR. Bethany told me about it, and I tried it last week. Took them all! My final balance ended up being $1!!!! It was awesome, and I was pumped!

Now….will they take ECBs from CVS? They have barcodes, so I’m wondering if anyone has tried it yet….

Also…a word on your Publix update…First, I tried Swaggrabber and because she is FL, her prices and match-ups were off, and then, I tried Fiddledeedee’s website, but again, for whatever reason, her’s are a little bit off from your’s this week too.

It’s been a crazy blog week with Publix….I may never get all the deals copied down! :D

However, all that said–I rely on you the most and recommend you to everyone on my facebook page because your website is the best consistently, and it’s the easy to navigate and read for newbies and old-timers alike!

    • Need you??? YES WE NEED YOU! I still can’t fully function on my own and AM addicted to your site!! :) Jenny you ROCK!!!

    • Allison

I’m pretty sure this is the website I check most often, so keep up the good work! I’m converting a few of my friends and you’re making it so easy for me to teach them how to shop like this. Thank you!!!

    • Jenny

Debbie – I’m guessing you are talking about the prices all being different. Publix sale prices are different between EVERY store. I have two stores within 5 miles of my house and they will both vary by 15 cents or more on some items. I have no earthly idea how Publix sets these prices. This is why I have started wording the weekly lists “Save up to” like their ad states.

While you may not have the exact prices in your store at least you are ready for the deals when you get there!

    • Jean

At my Publix tonight, the Post cereals (cocoa pebbles, fruity pebbles, honeycomb and alpha bits) were 1.50 and then BOGO, so it was two boxes for 1.50. Tomorrow there is a 1/2 coupon that is coming out. So, if you go tomorrow through Wednesday, it will be 50 cents for two boxes of cereal.

    • your website is amazing. i definitely need you! please don’t go anywhere!

I love, love, love Publix. They never squabble over my coupons and seem to have fabulous partnerships with many manufacturers. The current Kimberly-Clark deal is great when you combine it with coupons. Buy $35 in K-C products, get a $10 Publix gift card. So . . . I bought a 100-ct. Huggies ($22), 1 tub Huggies wipes ($3), 4 Huggies bath/body items ($10), 2 Viva big rolls ($4.60) and a 4-pack of Scott bath tissue ($4). I used some Publix baby club coupons to get the wipes and one of the bath/body items free, used a $3 Publix coupon and a $1.50 mfr coupon on the diapers, 2 $3 off 2 Publix coupons for the bath/body items, 2 $1 Publix coupons and one .50 mfr coupon for the paper towels and a $1 store coupon with a .75 mfr coupon for the toilet paper. Total before coupons? $43.60. Total after coupons? $20.45. And when I send in the receipt I’ll get a $10 gift card. Diapers, wipes, 4 baby bath products, 2 paper towels, toilet paper — all for $10.45. I love Publix!

    • Gini

I love Publix too. I’ve gotten so many comments from people asking how I can afford to shop at Publix…I felt the same way before I started clipping coupons and using sites like this (I use this one 90% of the time). But now I do better at Publix consistantly than I do at the other stores, and their service is so much better, and I LOVE that they cover up the magazines in the check out line! Publix is my favorite store and you make it even better. Thank you!

This is an amazing list and i was so excited to use my coupons this week! When I got to the cash register the manager saw that i had a bunch of coupons so she came over and checked every single coupon with each item. She refused to let me use a store coupon and manufacturer’s coupon with any item. She also tried to refuse coupons that didn’t have the exact item that was pictured on the coupon!!!! (red baron coupon had a picture of thin crust pizza and mine was thick crust!) I did convince her that I could use that coupon. It took me 37 min to check out and felt like I was on trial! Anyway, I needed to vent thanks for the hard work.

    • Jenny

Shae- You should call Publix corporate and complain. They are instructed to not give you any problems and the fact that it was the manager is even worse. They will give them a good talking too and hopefully you will have better experiences.

    • shae

I tried to call before I even left the store. I had to leave a message and I am waiting for the return call.
