Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 10/21-10/27

on 10.21.2009 at 12:13am

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

I am having a hard time thinking of something nice to say about this ad. There are a lot of B1G1 deals but almost nothing with a coupon match.  I will enjoy the free salad and a few other deals.   If you see anything else in the store please share!

Coupon Policy:

1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

If you are new to Southern Savers read up on what all this means.

I see what you mean, Jenny!
This will be a light Bi-Lo week for me.

    • Kristi

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Fresh Express coupon?

      • FrugalMama001

        Yes I did!

        • carol

The link takes you to a “forwarding” page, which says if you are not forwarded to the correct page to click “here”. Right click on the “here” and select “open in new tab” or “open in new window”. It printed fine for me once I did this.

          • MED

That link to fresh express salad is for .55 off of TWO not one….

    • Suzanne

Bilo changed their “buy theirs, get ours free” deals today.

    • You can get a free reusable bag from ChiChi’s wyb 2 of their products. The info is here:

    • Tammy C.

Anyone know if Bi-Lo will be offering the free turkey program this year?

      • Jenny

They will not be offering the free turkey this year. It is one of the things they have pushed to the side while they are in bankruptcy.

    • Terrie Padgett

I think the New york Stripe Steaks are 2.98 each

    • Amanda

I couldn’t get the salad coupon either. It seemed as though it was printing a smartsource coupon, but it never did and then the “Thank You” page at Fresh Express came up. Does this mean it has ended, or am I doing something wrong?

    • Michele

I know! I was so disappointed when I opened the Bi-Lo ad this week. Maybe this will give me incentive to finally go to Publix! :)

      • Heather

Once you go to Publix….you won’t go anywhere else! I love the fact that I can go once per week to get the sale items. If they don’t have them then I get a rain check & when I go the next week I can get the same thing for the same price. Yes each week I have rainchecks to redeem but it saves me from having to try to go to every Publix around town. Give it a shot!!!

        • CouponNERD

I agree with Heather! Go to Publix!! You won’t regret it!
I go every week to Publix, only every other week or so to Bilo/Kroger/Food Lion if there’s something special on sale.

        • Elaine

There is no Publix in our area :( We have a Reids and a Bi-Lo. I love the Bi-Lo, never go to the Reids. I recently heard that Food Lion bought out Bi-Lo? If so I will be devastated…Reids is owned by FL. We will lose the only good couponing store we have!!!!!

    • tina

Nothing last week or this week for me :( How is these ad’s gonna help them with the trouble there already in lol

    • Is there a certain zip code for the hormel ($1.50 off). I am not seeing it when i use the link? I have already used the $2.00 but need the $1.50 now. thanks

      • Susan

There is also $1.00 off coupon in the “All You” magazine.

    • On the Buy Theires and Get Ours Free deal, how can can you use the $0.40/4 on the Campbell’s soup when on the printable from Bi Lo for the ‘free’ item it states ‘Limit One Per Customer”?

      • Jenny

You can only get one theirs free, I’m just letting you know what coupons are out their if you wanted to get more of the name brand.

        • Ok thanks for the reply! I didn’t know if there was some ‘trick’ that I was missing. Still going to get my FREE item :)

    • Janet

Seriously this is a poor week for Bi-Lo and Publix for me. I looked at both ads and threw them away. I’ll skip them both and hope next week will be better.

    • Jenni

There is also the $1 off soup if you buy crackers (or is it a dollar off crackers if you buy soup?) from the tearpad (I found it at Publix).

    • Kelly

FYI If you signed up for the Luvs newletter and got your $5.00 coupon, it makes the Luvs $1.99 this week!!!!

    • Gena

Are the items in the Bi-Lo BonusSaver (10/14 to 11/10) not worth considering? I’ve noticed that only the month-long B1G1s are listed, so I was wondering about some of the other items.

I don’t always get to hit Bi-Lo and Publix before the weeklies, so I try to keep in mind the the longer running items. It seems like I’m always shopping at the tale-end of the cycle, so looking the BonusSaver and the Advantage Flyers takes some of the urgency out of the equation.

    • Tammy C.

The Bi-Lo at Hudson Corners in Greer, SC has (non-ultra) Joy dish detergent on close-out for .50. Pair with the .30/1 Joy from the last P&G and you get FREE dish detergent! Also found Gillette Hair and Body wash for close-out at $2.24…use $1/1 coupon to make it $1.24-not free but pretty cheap when you have a teenager who wants an all-in-one that doesn’t smell like a baby!

      • Momof2 (Greer, SC)

I went to that store this morning & the only Joy I could find was priced @ 88 cents. I still used the 30 cent q on that so 28 cents a bottle wasn’t bad but free is still always good in my book!

    • Lori

Has anyone used the Palermo’s Pizza Q? It looks like it is a PDF that you can print multiple times—am I right? I only printed two but see that they have the same barcode. I don’t want to use both of them if it would be “fraud”—anyone out there used more than one and not have any problems? Thanks!

      • Amanda

I used four of them, dont remember if it cut me off at four or if I just started feeling like a glutton…. In any case the cashier accepted them at our Bi-Lo.

    • Savin Fool

      Should be fine

    • Tara

The Kellogg’s cereal deal was not working right in Summerville, SC earlier today. After some arguing I finally got my $4 back. They are supposed to be calling the company. Just FYI – Check your total!!!!!

      • Dee

I know that the two Bilo stores in Summerville (1625 Main St and Boone Hill RD) are both giving the correct totals on the cereal, taking the $4 off. They both are also offering a FREE Sponge Bob Trick or treat basket for every 2 boxes of kellogs cereal you buy! I know the Boone Hill store is not advertising this deal, but the baskets are ringing up FREE on the receipt.

    • DeAnna

For those in or near the Walterboro, SC area, Bi-Lo is having a truckload sale Saturday morning, I believe beginning when they open at 6 am until supplies last. Here is what they have:

      Whole Bone-in Pork Loin .99/lb
      Whole Boneless Bottom Round $1.69/lb

Tennessee Pride Value Pack Sausage Biscuits $3.99 ea
Carolina Pride Jumbo Pack Smoked Sausage 40 oz $2.99 ea
Johnsonville Fresh Bratwurst or Italian Sausage $1.99
Butchers Prime Port Sparerib Tips 10 lb box .99/lb

      Pescanove Breaded Fish Fingers 5/$5

This sale paper was supposed to be secret to come out in Friday’s Press and Standard (our local paper) BUT somehow was mistakenly sent out in The Shopper on Tuesday, so be sure to check with other stores now for impromptu sales to try to match Bi-Lo.

      • DeAnna

I went in at 7 am this morning and got $345 in meat for $142.
30 lbs of lean ground chuck
        20 lbs of pork loin
4 really large boston butt pork roast
        2 HUGE racks of ribs
        4 New York Strip Steaks
4 boxes of Ziploc freezer bags – $1.00/2 coupons

    • Momof2 (Greer, SC)

      ***SC Johnson Rebate Reminder***
I went to Bi Lo & they have ziploc freezer bags on closeout @ $1.27 less 40 cent q (I can’t remember from which insert) but final price would be 47 cents & this would go great with the SC Johnson rebate. I was able to submit all 3 of my rebates today using that deal alone but just for good measure I threw in the Glade Sense & spray that I got at CVS this week for $1 & the Glade candle that I also snagged from CVS this week. I just hope my $15 makes it back before the After Thanksgiving day sale. **Also another deal they have air wick air freshner on closeout @ 99 cents less 50 cent q (can’t remember insert) but that would make it free & they also have Electrasol quantum (sorry if that’s not spelled right) on closeout @ $2.31 less 50 cent q on that also (you got it, I can’t recall the insert) but final price $1.31. I saw all of these deals at 3 different Bi Lo’s so far. BiLo not as bad as we think this week.

    • April

The Kelloggs deal did work for me in Ooltewah. I got the wrong size on one of them and had to run back and get the correct size. It wasn’t a bad shop. 5 boxes of cereal, 2 pillsbury sweet rolls, and poptarts for $7.28… not bad in my opinion

    • Tonya

      Hi ladies,
My Bilo has joy dish detergent on clearance for .50. Use your .30 off joy coupon, it will double, and you will get it free. They also had some of the Airwick aqua essences sprays on clearance for .99. Use your .50 coupons for them and get them free.
They may not be marked down at every store but look and see just in case.

    • Jenni

My Bilo had Propel single serve 2/1.00. I used these along with the .55/1 Q’s I snagged from the tear pad a few days ago. Got paid .20 to take 4 home with me.

    • Aisha

I was in there yesterday and they had the 24 pack of Aquafina for $2.99 limit 2 only for Fri, Sat, and Sun

    • Elaine

I got 4 of the Bird’s Eye Meals for Two and they were relutant to let me use 2 B1G1 coupons and would not let me use a $1.50 off coupon on the 2 that I paid for. Bilo is the only place in the area close to me that doubles coupons, and it seems that it keeps getting harder to use coupons there and there are more and more mistakes on there pricing.( I did get the last 3 Evolve zip bags) But I had a great deal at Food Lion besides the ground beef and chicken, Glade Candles were 2/$6, so since Target is so Far, with coupons I did great getting 4 candle holders and 4 refills for $5. I wish people would stop stealing the coupons from out of the tins! That made up for the Bi-lo trip! I can finish sending in my SC Johnson rebates Monday!

      • Amy

And I wish people would stop assuming that someone stole the coupons! I’ve seen tins being freshly stocked that didn’t have coupons inside them. I think the newest batch doesn’t come with coupons – so only if your store has ones that have been sitting on the shelf for a while will you find them. Considering all the good deals they’ve had on them lately, that is unlikely at this point.

    • JEB

Anybody know of a good sale or price for Luvs right now at any store? I have that $5 coupon, and I think it expires Oct. 30 or 31…They are $6.99 at Bilo thru 10/27….is that good or is there a better price?

      • Jenny

That’s the best price right now anywhere.

    • Mary Douglass

The “Gamecock” Bi-Lo on Devine was completely out of the $0.99 bacon and Smart Balance Spray (Southern Savers is getting popular!)

I went by the Bi-Lo on Knox Abbott in Parkland Plaza and was able to find both (and there were a bunch left!) Just FYI in case you’re looking for them!

    • Jaime

At the Cleveland Bi-Lo they had Purex detergent on clearance for $2.14 and I had 2 $.35 coupons….that means I got detergent for less than $2.00 a bottle and I won’t have to buy any for another couple of months. I love using this website! Thanks for all your hard work!
