      Thanks, Jenny!

    • Jen

Is there no meal deal this week?

      • Beccaandtommy

        I'm wondering too…  ?

      • Deb

The Chattanooga Bi-Lo ad does have a meal deal.  It's Buy 1 Birds Eye Voila Meal for $8.49 and get Southern Home Steamin' Easy Vegetables, Sara Lee Pound Cake, and 6 pack pepsi can.

        • Victoria

Isn't there a Sara Lee Pound cake coupon, I think it was for either .55/1 or $1/1, I don't know what insert it was from but it expires 6/30

          • Lacat

I think it is for 75 cents.

    • Miss_afb

    • I got coups this week (dont know who else did) for $.50 off Carolina Pride sausage so that will double to make it $.99 each. Nice.

    • Missyturnerlee

Carolina Pride coupons came out Sunday too making rolled sausage $.79 and smoked $.99

      • FreedomSpradley1

Last week the ad had the roll sausage listed B1G1 @ $1.98 making it $.99/roll.  Unfortunately, the shelf tag was B1G1 @ $3.49.  I caught it at checkout and the manager adjusted it for me (gave $.75 credit/roll) but I'm sure many people were overcharged and didn't catch it.  Manager said it was a typo in the ad and I noticed this weeks ad has the Carolina Pride roll sausage listed at B1G1 @ $3.49.  Sorry to everyone who missed out on free roll sausage last week.

    • Apuckett524

Carolina Pride coupons have do not double written lightly on the side.

      • I used one yesterday and i doubled.

        • jenna

if the barcode starts with a 5 computer will automatically double no matter what coupon says

          • Harlie_girl2u

            • Jrsygrl87

My Bi-Lo in Charleston, SC doubles some coupons even though it says not to. Either it doesn't register in the computer or they don't look clearly at it. It may depend on where you go and who your cashier it.

      • Missyturnerlee

BiLo and Ingles here always double them even if it says do not double. The computer does it automatically.

    • lisa

what publix coupon sheet 4 the plates

      • JenniG

Lisa I believe the Publix coupon for the Dixie Plates was given to customers who donated to a charity…I want to say Children's Miracle Network.

        • lisa

          thanks for your help

      • Victoria

Yes it was for donations to Children's Miracle Network, it was for two or three weeks but its no longer going on.

      • Kim

I would like to know this too…

    • Deb

In Chattanooga, the 2 ltr. Coke is $1.00.  The ads reads $10 for $10 and a limit of 10.  Woo Hoo!  Haven't bought any cokes because of the price…told the family that we'd be drinking water, milk, or tea.  They'll be very happy (for a little while at least.)

      • Thriftyspender

our CVS still has 2L cokes for 79 cents

        • Deb

Oh, thank you!  I'll check that out.

    • Lindsey Hudgins

      the aquafina for 2.99 doesn't start until friday…it's a three day sale…

    • Lindsey Hudgins

if you “like” bird's eye on facebook, it will let you print either a 1,2, or 3 dollar coupon for the voila meals, which happens to be the meal deal so you could actually get the meal deal for like 5.49 instead of 8.49 if you get the right coupon….you have to spin this wheel thingy and it randomly decides which coupon you get…i got 2 2.00 coupons so i will be getting my meal deal for 6.49

      • Deb

        Thanks.  I just got a 1.00/1. :)

        • Lindsey Hudgins

I haven't used any competitor Q's at Bi-lo but I did ask the manager at the Dallas Bay store on Hixson Pike about a year ago and she said they would do a “few” depending on which competitor and the Q.  Maybe ask a manager at your store.

      • AmandaG

not sure what part of Chattanooga you are in, but if you want to go across state lines to Fort Oglethorpe both the BiLos on Battlefield parkway accepts competitor coupons. They do allow one man. coupon and one competitor coupon per item with a maximum of 10 comp. coupons per order. I am sure there is a list somewhere of who they consider a competitor, but I haven't found it yet. They take Food Lion, Publix, and the drug store coupons for sure. Hope that helps

      • CJ

I use comp coupons at the Lee Highway/Shallowford Bi-Lo. I've used Target, Publix & Earth Fare in the past. They do allow you to stack. Some cashiers are more familiar than others, but they will call the manager if there's a question.

      • Christinemariew

The Signal Mountain Bi Lo accepts 3 per transaction and they do allow you to stack them with manu Q's.

    • couponmom

Heluva Good Dips on sale $1.89  have a 55 cent coupon will make it 79 cents each.  That's pretty good!!

      • Laura

gotta buy some for my DH company picnic this friday…I have 20 of these coupons lol. I love that stuff

    • Aprillowery81

I found a couple of things in my sales paper that's not on here: Peter Pan peanut butter 2 for $4 I got Q's for $.50 off 1 on the conagra website makes them $1 each, Lipton tea bags $1.77 there are Q's in RP 6/19 $.40 off makes them $.97, Pringles Super Stack $1.38 Q's in RP 5/22 $1 off 3 makes them $1.04 each

      • Harlie_girl2u

The cpn I have for lipton tea expired the 19th. Will bi-lo accept cpn thats out only cple of days cvs  and wags here will.  Bi- lo  did put a note on a rain ck for me because cpn was close to expiring said  cpn good for 1 week after exp..

    • Brandon Philpott

if you live in the Summerville, SC area, make sure you grab the awesome GRAND RE-OPENING sales going on. comment if you need/want to know more!

      • Kim Skipper

What are the highlights of this sale?

      • Cw762

Yes, I'd like to know more since I'm going that way Friday.

      • Lana

Southport Rd in Spartanburg too.  You can check specific stores on the Bi-Lo website.

    • Di

Maldin road/pleasentburg Greenville sc dies bit allow comp coupons. I checked last week. Thanks again J, I will have to make my list tmr it's sleepy time now. :)

    • Di

      Does not* stupid phone lol

    • berry

Help, I don't see the hunt's coupon using 77477.  Plus, can a customer purchase more than one meal deal?

      • Aprillowery81

        1 meal deal per trans.

      • Mcleodsc

I cannot find the coupon either.
You can purchase more than one meal deal in seperate transactions.

      • Ree

Mine came up as .25/1, not .35/1.

      • Deb

Yes, you can purchase more than one meal deal.  You can get one each time you're in the store or you can get 2 deals and just separate them when you check out.  A cashier at my Bi-Lo told me this and he usually knows what's going on (more so than a lot of the managers I've encountered!)

    • Angelareid821

Is the Lloyd's BBQ any good? I haven't tried it before. We are a mustard based family!

      • guest

Our family loves it!  It freezes good too!

        • Allie in SC

I've also frozen the Lloyd's BBQ. It's just my husband and me, and we like it! :)

      • guest

Too much sauce..too little pork.Curly's is better. This time of year ,somebody's on every corner selling the good stuff(pulled pork&beef hash),and of course, couponing allows me to occasionally splurge.

      • Chelle

We love Lloyds!  My favorite is the original bbq chicken, but the rest of the family loves all the varieties.  I always stock up on it when it's on sale.

      • You won't like Lloyd's then. It's a little bit of meat in a whole lot of tomato-based sweet sauce. I quit buying that stuff. All you got was sauce. To me, that's not only being cheap, but it makes me wonder what they're covering up. Instead, I try to find good deals elsewhere and splurge on some real Q! Our local BBQ place always has coupons, but it's still pricey.

    • samantha

.75¢ off 1 Oscar mayer hot dog coupon on there facebook make sure to leave a  “taste-a-monials” so we raise the meter for a free pack coupon!

    • Denise P.

The boneless skinless chick breast is 1.99lb. Does anyone know if that's a good price? Is it possible to find it cheaper elsewhere?

      • Lana

That is my target price for it and it rarely goes cheaper than that especially at Bi-Lo. Food Lion used to have it for 1.88 every so often but their prices for meat have gone way up.  I wrap each breast in plastic wrap and put them all in a ziploc freezer bag so I can thaw only the amount I need.

      • Mattfloyd

I think that it is a pretty good deal.   If I am correct, they are usually $4.59/lb.  So, this would make it less than half price.

      • Lab-15

Ingles does their tyson chicken for that pretty reg. so, yes, this is about as cheep as you will find it. Sometimes you will get it cheaper if you buy it already frozen in those big bags…sometimes aldi has it frozen but it's not much cheaper( maybe .10/Lb less)

        • Lana

It's on sale at Ingles this week for 2.38 lb so I guess the sale price has gone up :(

      • Kellimizell1985

very good price, stock up. Usually 3.59-4.00 a pound

      • Chelle

WalMart has had boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.89lb for about the last month.  Other than WalMart, though, $1.99lb is the cheapest I've seen it.

      • Lsteigerwalt

1.99 is buying price on bonless and skinless. But we but split at .99 or cheaper and process ourselves for extra soup meat.

      • jo

This is a very good price , Maybe not give away dirt cheap, but still a great price for bilo  Cheapest I  have seen would be at food lion for 1.78 a pound  but that is rare.

    • Cmcjsmom

I had a catalina for $1 off any paper plates, etc  and also one for $1 off a garbage or storage bag

      • Yep. Used mine too.

      • Karen

Sweet! Wish I had some of those. We use tons of paper plates in my house. I don' t have that Publix q mentioned either. We live 35  miles from the nearest Publix. :(  I'm going to ask a friend if she has some extra, but she's probably buying the plates, too.

    • Abby

cant find the -$.75/1 hamburger helper coupon…..any help!?

      • Mattfloyd

It is in the SmartSource Coupon Insert in the Sunday Paper from 06/12/2011.

        • Abby

I have those coupons and the only ones I got from those inserts were -$.75/3. There is a link on here for a coupon that saves you $.75 on 1, but when I click on the link I find nothing

          • Lsteigerwalt

It means its reached its print limit.

      • Kellimizell1985

yeah, I have trouble with that one too. It says I already got it!!! but i did NOT.

        • Karen

It is misleading, but they say that when there are no more prints left for that particular q. I wish they would fix that!

      • Smamf1922

I have 2 of the Hamburger helper Q's I can mail you.  Good till 2012.
reply to me at smamf1922 at gmail and send me your address.
Any other particular q's you need?

    • Scrambles666

bought the meal deal at bilo and payed $7 i got a 2 dollar off voila by liking thwm on FB

    • khw

do the huggies wipes qs not double?  wondering if they should be $2 instead of $2.50?

    • Don't know how much the Pet ice cream is, but this was in last Sunday's paper:

-$1.50 off Pet ice cream 1.75 qt.+ AND (1) gallon of Pet Diary Milk, SS 6/19

      • Chubbieowl

        in my SS, Thank you!!

    • Jjfdv

Was charged for the vegetables in the meal deal today.  Will have to go back for a refund. Look out for that.

    • Kartman35

Does Bilo carry over if your coupon adds up to more then the item is. Example item is for $1.29 and you have a .75 off coupon that dbl too $1.50. Will the .21 carry over.

      • Jbeckum

I shop at the Bi Lo in Vidalia, GA and they do not do this.  The other day, I was buying the small packs of Mahatma yellow rice that were priced at 79 cents each.  I had a 50 cent off one coupon and when the coupon scanned, it automatically deducted the 50 cents and then another 29 cents.  I still got the rice for free but no overage.

        • Kartman35

Ty so much for the info. It seems no store here is doing it then. Thx again

        • Smamf1922

          Truly, this makes sense.

      • Lsteigerwalt

No sorry Kartman35. The only way to make this possible is to give you coupons before they scan your bonus card. And even then some of the machines wont double your coupons correctly unless you give your bonus card first.

    • SCmonkeyshine

My Bi-lo store had two closeouts last night that I had coupons for and took advantage of:
V8 Fusion (certain flavors)  1.97 close out price – I had .50 off one coupons that doubled to 1.00 and got them for .97.Also select Pedigree Dog treats closeout price 2.38.Also at walmart – small single serving bags of M&M's are .50 each.  Had a .75 off two coupon so two packs for .25!!I also found some mis-marked Boston Style Ribs – brought it to the cashiers attention before I checked out (wanted to make sure it was even okay to buy them at this price) and he said I would pay the marked price per their policy…….I paid $3.16 (YES – $3.16 total) for TWO racks of ribs.

    • I considered doing that, but it was so expensive I decided it wasn't worth it. It was like $5.79 or something like that. I already have a ton of ice cream from previous meal deals and I got a good deal on Ben & Jerry's at Harris Teeter. I still bought the milk, though.

    • That happens a lot. Last week I got charged for Mtn Dew with a meal deal. I took them back and they gave me my money back, but I ended up not getting any sodas out of the deal.

      • sweetie3989

if you explained that they were supposed to be free with the meal deal, they would've just gave you your money back and you wouldn't have had to give the sodas back..

    • I got a $2 Cat from Hamburger Helper. It may have been because I bought 6 boxes BOGO using 2 .75/3 Q.

HOWEVER, I think I got shorted on my Fuel Perks! I participated in 2 of the FP promotions and it says I only earned 10c in Fuelperks today? What? Not sure what to do about that, but I'm not happy.

      • Love to shop

If you do the fuel perks deals you have to ring up the items seperately.  Last week they had spend $60 dollars and get 30 cents.  I rang up two orders of 60 for a total of 60 cents, then I bought the two pizzas for 5.99 each and got 20 more cents, then i spent the normal 50 dollars times two and got 10 more cents for a total of 90 cents off gas in one trip.    The clerk doesnt mind helping you stop when you reach each goal and then ring up the next deal.  Hope this helps.

        • Love to shop

also a PS.   your receipt sometimes doesnt catch up if you ring up mulitple purchases in one visit.  you sometimes have to wait 24 hours to see all your savings.  they tell you to never gas up until 24 hours later for the computer to catch up so you get all your savings.   You can continue to add up your fuel perks until the gas is free.   They do not expire.  however do not go over the price of gas as I believe it resets to 0 and you loose the overage.

          • According to my receipt and their website, Fuelperks do expire after 3 months. For instance, the fuelperks that I earned in March will expire at the end of this month.

      • jo

You need to take the receipt back into the store and show them what happened. They will call corporate office right there and have it added in. You dont have to ring it up separately. As long as the promotions were different, you can do as many different ones as you want in a single order. In the sales flyer it even states the total your can earn for that weeek . Hope this helps. It has happened to me several times

    • Kaseyelisabeth

I cannot get the VOILA coupon to print off of facebook!  Has anyone else had this problem?!  PLEASE HELP!  Thank-you!!! :-)

      • Karen

I saw several people on FB who said they could not print it, but then I noticed that it was trying to open a popup window. I clicked on the little top bar thing that appears and tells me that it is trying to open a window and made it okay for Facebook to open popups.  Then I played the game again and it opened up a new screen with a Bricks coupon print screen. It only let me print one, however – which is what a lot of people are saying. Good thing I have children with Facebook accounts and multiple computers in this house. ;)

    • MISSY

I'm still learning about couponing and trying to make sure I do it correctly.
Even though this might work, wouldn't using either of these coupons for “Premium meat, 1 lb.” on the 7.5-10 oz. pkg. constitute coupon fraud?

Land O Frost Shaved Lunch Meat, 7.5-10 oz, $1.99

      -.50/1 Land O’Frost premium meat, 1 lb., RP 5/15

      -.55/1 Land O’Frost Premium meat, 1 lb, RP 5/15

      (use .55/1, makes it 89¢)

      • Paige

She just puts all of the coupon matchups that match the product. It may not be for the correct size. It just matched when she posted. And, you are right, you cannot use that coupon for that size and it would be coupon fraud even though you will see people who say it is okay to use it anyway, it is not.

    • Evelynandchris

Not sure if this has been posted, but my Bi-Lo had Ball Park Hamburger and Hot Dog Buns for B1G1 @ $2.69.  I had 0.55/1 Qs (in paper within the last month), which doubled to $1.10/1 and made them 0.25 each!!!  They also had coupons on them for get $1 off when you buy Ball Park hot dog buns and Ball Park hot dogs, which I will save for later.  My Bi-Lo had AWESOME closeout deals: V8 Fusion marked $1.86 (I had $1/2 Qs, which brought it down to $1.36 each), Cover Girl Eye Shadow marked $1.50 (I had $1/1 Cover Girl Product, which brought it down to 0.50 each), Pack of Crunch Fun bars for $1.00, Extra Large 6 pk Plastic Easter Eggs for 0.10 each & Zinfandel for $2.99.  Great deals at Bi-Lo with the Carolina Pride ground sausage, smoked sausage and PET milk!

    • lisa

does anyone know if the carolina pride sausage coupons are doubling

      • Pndbear2003

I used several yesterday and they all did.

      • Sullivans Sc

Yes they are oubling carolina pride coupos- great deal

        • Sullivans Sc

i mean yes they are  doubling Carolina Pride coupons : ) Great deal!!

        • lisa

    • Smamf1922

Be sure to pick up the ad flyer when you go in the store and flip back the right side 3-inch section.  It shows the 20cents off per gallon items.  You need to buy 3 of them – can be mixed but any three.  I had several Scott paper towel/tissue q's that were collecting in my binder…….today was the day they got used!  Look for the 3.59 Scott paper towels w/ pictures from CARS (kid's movie)  I had 1.00 off each of these so what a great deal!  PLus, when I checked out, I got a 2.00 off next purchase on anything based on Scott it said!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ENJOY!!!!  And get the deli pizza and coke deal for 10cents more off per gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ride, Sally, ride!

    • Paul

I Don't Think The Sea Best Shrimp Is A Bogo. I Think It's Sea Pak That's On Sale.

    • Khw

Just got back from bilo in powdersville, sc. They would not take my publix qs for Dixie plates even though it says manufacturer q on it. I bought the plates anyway and didnt argue, but when I got home, it looks like my receipt shows that the 4 publix qs actually were added onto my receipt rather than subtracted. Has anyone had this happen? I really don't want to go back, but that is such a ripoff!

In positive news, kikkoman soy sauce is price cut for .99 there is a .55 off q printable and in the inserts (check the database) and makes it free after doubling.

      • I have had that happen when my cashier was trying to manually enter a coupon and added it in instead. Check to make certain they were not subtracted back out anywhere, and if not, take your receipt to customer service. They should fix it for you.

    • Khw

I always go to self check out when I go there that way I can check and scan my own coupons. Were there alot of soy sauce left?

        • Khw

Yes, I do self check too, but there was a sign saying to take your coupons to the cashier. So, I couldn't even see what was happening! Not a good plan, but my 4 year old loves the self checkout!!

I do think there were at least a few soy sauce left.

    • Laurel Henninger

In last Sunday's paper, I can't remember whether it was the red plum or smart source insert, there were $.50 off coupons for carolina pride sausage rolls and smoked sausage. They make the sausage rolls $.74 each and the smoked sausage $.98 each! It may have just been a local coupon, I found itin the Chattanooga Times-Free Press.

      • Itsmecrystald

My coupon is for TN pride sausage! You would think TN would get the TN Pride coupon and NC would get the Carolina Pride coupon! ;)

        • Itsmecrystald

ok, totally embarrassed now…. the Carolina Pride coupon is in the SS, TN Pride coupon in the RP :)

      • Jessica_Jmom18

FYI I got it too and we are in SC! I am planning to take my coupons Harris Teeter greater than what BiLo matches and hopefully do a price match and get to double my coupons up to 1.98!! Should this work? Am I on the right track?

    • Loretta_ladd2001

Just a head's up…check you're frozen food section over for some great closeout prices.

    • Klbrown621

Don't know if anyone else caught this already or not, but the Huggies Wipes will only be $2 instead of $2.50 after the coupon for $0.50 off is doubled. :)

      • Jessica _Jmom03

very true I just figured that out myself! Thanks for the reminder though

      • Abrowning85

Go to a Kroger store. They  have the huggies wipes on sale for a 1.49 if you buy 5. With your $0.50 coupon  they will be $0.49! The  sale will be over today!

    • Grisy

is the kimberly clark deal good if done for the toilet paper??

    • Hannahrifka

In Chatt. BiLo ad says if u buy 3 Scott products, get $4 off coupon for next visit.  Does anyone know if Scott Naturals are included in the $5.49 price?  Thks.

      • Sillysnicks

I am almost positive YES when I walked through on Wed. I saw the toiled paper at the front of the store with the sale price.  I noticed it b/c I had been looking for it at Harris Teeter and it wasn't on sale.

    • Mere0983

On the Land O Frost meat the sale item is 1.99 off 10oz buyout coupon is for a 1lb. Has this coupon worked for anyone on the 10oz? I didn't want to go if it wouldn't work.

      • Mere0983

I meant but our coupon sorry

        • Deb

The Q for the 1 lb. won't work for the 10 oz.

        • Deb

Also, Paige posted this earlier from a similar question as yours:

“She just puts all of the coupon matchups that match the product. It may not be for the correct size. It just matched when she posted. • shp72

does anyone know what code to put in for the chef boyardee coupons?

      • Ronimichelle

Look on side of can and enter 8 digit code…just found it myself! :)

      • Christy

    • marie

will bilo price match? cvs has the cottonelle for 8.97

    • I found a coupon that was missed for this week.  There was a 50¢ off 1 coupon in the 6/19 SS for the Carolina Pride smoked sausage which makes it 99¢ each

    • WhaleyB

Items go on sale on a cycle or pattern.  Anybody tell me when to watch for Tasters Choice coffee and Kraft Mayo?  I can never seem to have a coupon when they go on sale.

    • lisa

no hunts coupon anyone find one

      • Tophatl

I got all my hunts coupons out of the Banquet Dinner boxes

    • Brittany

I can't find the Van Camp beans in my June All You magazine. Is anyone else having this problem?

      • Toni

Mine was there. It's one of the “card stock” coupons. I used mine at Family Dollar last week to get 4 cans for 25 cents each, though. :-)

      • T. Hardy

yes, also the Hunts Ketchup coupon is not there either………help!

      • tori729

If you got the subscription one, a lot of times they don't have the Conagra coupons in them. You have to buy the newsstand copy at Walmart to get them. Dumb, I know.

    • Toni

Vidalia Bi-Lo has cartons of 1/2 dozen medium eggs for $0.70 with a 25 cent coupon on it. If you buy 2, you get a dozen eggs for $0.90! This beats the Walgreens 99 cent deal this week. (Note: The coupon does not double, so you can't get them for 20 cents each.)

      • guest

I'd rather pay .09 more for normal size eggs.

    • guest

For those of you looking for the hunts coupon and maybe the van camps coupon in the all you magazine, if you are getting the magazine thru a subscription, the coupons aren't in them, if you bought your magazine from Walmart, they are in there.  My friend and I got a subscription, but she started to get her mags before me, so I just picked one up at Walmart and compared it to hers and that was the difference.  The one from Walmart had the cardstock like pages of coupons in it and it was not in the subscription one.

    • Jbrookew1

Does anyone know if BiLo's q poilicy allows for overage? For example – if i have a $1q and the item is $0.90, do i get 0.10 towards the rest of my purchase or do they adjust the q value down to $0.90?

      • Mandnjahn811

They say they don't but i walked out of there with .43 cents one time.

      • tori729

It will automatically take off up to the purchase price, I'm pretty sure. The only time you can get overage is with rainchecks or things that don't match up with specific items.

        • Jbrookew1

thank you for the reply :-)

    • Does anyone have a Conagra code for the Chef Boyardee?  All of my cans don't have a code or my peanut butter!  Thanks

    • Amanda A.

Just so that you know….I went to Bi-Lo today and the bacon that is on sale for 1.99 is limited to two.

    • Anyone else having trouble printing the Hunts coupon?

    • Mrsjmartin97

I went into Bi-Lo today and let my cashier know as she was scanning my items.I politely told her I would like to scan my coupons first then my bonus card. She then informed me that I could scan them after she scans my bonus card!!! I said may I ask why? She said, and I quote..”that's coupon fraud if I scan the coupons first!!'. Really I said since when?? It's ALWAYS been that way…Hmm,I learn something new everyday.
The a night stalker was behind me in line and asked the cashier why was she shaking?? I looked up and asked if her blood sugar was low? No,I drank an energy drink and didn't eat what an experience!!!

      So,is it fraud??????

      • Jd21

The bonuscard must be scanned first to make sure that you get double coupons and no overage, which is stated in bi-los coupon policy, double coupons work up to free, you get no overage on coupons.

      • Kittie

It is their policy to scan the card first.

    • Faith

Went into my local Bilo, Greenville Sc, and they had a new coupon book out called Gold star meats. Coupon book includes 55.00 of savings. There was plenty!!!!!!!!

    • Mcgee2699

Is anyone else having problems finding the $1 off Coke purchase coupon with RecycleBank? It appears like they don't have it anymore.

      • melissa

I haven't been able to find it, either!  I was only able to get the BOGO Coke coupon.  I hope they bring it back! :o)

        • Sandy565

Me too Melissa! Loved the $1 off coupon because we always gets 12 packs!

I found a new coupon book put out by Bilo today.  It was on a display at the door.  Lots of good coupons!  Some for the new brand of meats.

What is this “Publix Coupon Sheet” I keep seeing?  No one at my Publix seems to know anything about it.  Thanks.

      • guest

I believe those are the ones at the register.  You have to donate money and in return you will receive one of the sheets of coupons.

      Jenny/Southern Savers Family,

Not sure if it's regional  but there are Carolina Pride Smoked and Breakfast Sausage $.50/1 coupons in the 6/19 SS.  Also, I'm almost certain I've send a $.55/1 coupon on the Land O Frost in a recent Sunday insert.  Anybody know anything????

    • Llnda

I'm so mad a Bi-Lo right now I may never shop there again! My husband bless his heart got me a Sunday paper and did not look in it to see if the coupons where in it and of course when he got home I looked for my coupons and they weren't there so I went back to Bi-Lo to exchange my paper for one with coupons and they wouldn't exchange it. I wasn't asking for a refund just an exchange grrr!

Today I went to bi-lo and I picked up a few of their new coupon booklets and I looked through and seen they had a mccormick seasoning .50 coupon and the packets are buy1get1 so I got 6 of them because there would be an overage of .61 for the two so I got some milk and a few other things to make up for the overage so I went to the register and my coupons did not double instead it only deducted .19 and it should have been .50 as we all know and I told them that wasn't right and the girl asked the manager who did not come to the register so I said ok but I walked up to the customer service desk before I left and the manager didn't know what to do so he asked some boy that works there like hello!! aren't you the MANAGER!! And the guy or boy whatever tells him I can't get overage the item was only .70 cent and the coupon was for a 1.00 so in his opinion thats why but it makes me mad because I usually go to another bi-lo that one was closer so I stopped there well anyways my regular store always gives me overage aren't they supposed to??

Mine always has.  My experience at most the stores I routinely go to is they have gotten so anti-coupon friendly since the TLC show began.  Our Publix use to be like Disney world when it came to coupons and now it has gotten extremely difficult to reason with anyone, especially the Manager.  If the stores are getting reimbursed by the manufacturers it's a win situation all around for couponers and the stores so why would they be anti coupon?  Makes no sense.    The ONLY instance I can think of is the hoarders who buy cases of a product because it's free or they are making money (like what's happening on TLC).  EASY SOLUTION for stores:  Put reasonable limits on the amount of any one product you can purchase so everyone gets a chance to benefit.

        JENNY/Southern Savers,

Have you noticed your stores becoming less coupon friendly since TLC?  I'm really curious about this.  Not sure if Jenny will see this or not but would love to have a discussion post (NOT for complaining) but as a survey as to if things have gotten worse or staying the same since the TLC show began.

        • Morgan

I can agree with your post.  There are many times I feel like a criminal in a grocery store now just shopping for my family of four.  It is so discouraging and I blame it largely on TLC and their sensationalized show.  I don't want 67 bottles of mustard or a storage room for my inserts, I just want to feed my family during a very difficult time.

And my local stores have put limits on items, but people go through the U-Scan line and do multiple transactions so they can get more than the limit.  But of course the cashiers/ managers can't say anything because that would be poor customer service.

      • Nicole

Bi-Lo would give you the overage if the coupon had been for $1. Since the coupon is for .50, they will only double it to the amount of the product. Bi-Lo doesn't get reimbursed (except on rare occasions when they have an agreement with the manufacturer) for the portion that they double, so the registers are set up to double up to the amount of the product.   HTH

      • sweetie3989

I work for Bi-lo plus ive been doing the coupon thing for a while now and I only go to Bi-Lo for my deals, so i'm very familiar with their policy. what Nicole replied is correct, which was if you have a coupon that will double, it will only double up to the amount of the product's price.. it will not give you any overage.

A lot of people seem to think that we are the ones who hit something on the register to keep it from doubling or whatever the case.. but we have nothing to do with the doubling. The register does it automatically.  Not saying this is what you implied couponcrazee, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that bc I've seen several other posts in the past of people complaining that we are the ones who do it on purpose just bc they customer is using coupons.  I feel like people should just be happy they're at least getting the item for  free =)  I know I would be! lol

What is BiLo's coupon policy when it comes to store coupons? Can you stack a store and manufacturer coupon on one item?

      • tori729

Yes you can, if you have a store coupon to use!

Goose creek BILO had boneless skinless chicken breast @ 1.29/lb!

    • Amazinglyawesome4ever

Our local paper had coupons for $75 cent off of one box of Colgate toothpaste. it doubled to make it $1.40. But Bilo had them buy one get one free so I was able to use two coupons which made them $1.40 off of each one which was a savings of $2.80 all together I actually spent 6 cents on each tube of tooth paste. I had four so I got four LARGE tubes of tooth paste for 24 cents.

just wondering where do you live cause my bi-lo only doubles to 60cents…bummer..lol ..but nice trip.
