Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 1/13-1/20

on 1.12.2010 at 9:34pm

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

It is one of my favorite weeks to shop at Bi-Lo! There are a ton of B1G1 deals and many of them have great coupons to use too. Keep in mind that Bi-Lo ad’s have very different B1G1 prices than Bi-Lo stores… so check the price before checking out to make sure you have the deal you are planning on.shoppinglist1

If you see any other deals please share!

Coupon Policy:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

    • Jenni

What a great ad! And getting this RIGHT before I head out the door to shop that last deals for THIS week, and being able to see what I can wait on. SWEET! Thanks, Jenny!

      • TheresaKhold

Has anyone bought the big entertainment coupon book? If so what do you think about it? Is it worth it? I heard it has gro coupons in it?! Just wondering on yalls opinion… Thanks

        • Jennifer

I have the entertainment book and love it. The first thing I used it on was soccer equipment at Dick’s and saved $25. It has 4 Bi-Lo coupons in it that are 10% off $100 or more. This is before coupons. The first one expires the end of January, but the others have longer dates.

    • Mary

On the nabisco 100 calorie packs?? Could you buy 10 boxes – (5)$2/2 cpns (if you have enough cptrs. to print that many)- (2)$3 OYNO = $0.04 ea. Will the catalina machine print out 2 OYNO at one time if you do this???
Thanks Jenny for all you do. These are a great buy either way, and my family appreciates all the time you put into this!!!

      • If the machine will print 2 $3 off that would be a great deal! To maximize this and use less money out of pocket, I would roll this coupon over into a new transaction. Last week I did this with the Kraft Cheese promotion. Purchased those in Transaction 1 then used the OYNO coupon on Transaction 2 to pay the excess out of pocket amount :). I’m curious to know if the machine will print 2 now!

        • Mary

Thanks Ashley – I did the same with the Kraft sliced cheese. I ended up with 15 packs of cheese for $9.90 and $15 of free groceries after doing 3 deals. Gotta love profit!

      • morgan

It will only print one. Tried it last week.

        • Mary

Thanks for letting me know. $0.14 is still a great deal!!

    • Melissa

      Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs, 4.05-4.86 oz, at $3.29 ($1.64)

(buy 4, use (2) -$2/2, makes it 14¢ ea after coupon back)

On the deal above, the lowest amount I get is 0.29. How do you coe up with 0.14?

      Thanks for ALL you do!

      • Sue

        2 X 3.29 = 6.58
        – 4.00(2X 2/2 = 4.58
        – 2.00 catalina you get = 58¢ divided by 4 = 14.5¢ each.

Looks like you’re dividing 58¢ by 2 instead of 4.
Even @ 29¢ would be a great deal. Too bad you can’t use these for the Nabisco rebate. But the Ritz are a great buy for it!

        • Sue

Oops! Looks like the Ritz are Crackerfuls and they are also not included. Wheat Thins are though.

          • Lisa

I thought the rebate was off of any Nab. cracker….but the Ritz crackerfuls won’t work? I can not find a list anywhere that tells exactly what will and won’t work! The 100 cal packs should work for the 20.00 rebate (back to school one) So all is not lost on those!! lol Also on the little ad that printed on my receipt for the oyno amounts it said 5 or more was $3.00. I made the mistake before of thinking I could by double the amount and I did but only the original amt. printed. (hope that makes sense!) So better to separate your transactions….I think they do odd numbers like that to mess us up with all of the coupons that are for $1/2.

            • Sue

Keep the Jingle rebate is for 7 oz or larger Crackers (Crackerfuls are 6 oz), Easy Cheese, and/or Planters Nuts(9.25 oz larger).

    • Sue

Become a fan of Wheat Thins on Facebook and print a coupon for $1 off. I printed 2.

Also $1 off 2 Wheat Thins and $1 off 2 Ritz in “Keep the Jingle” booklet. These expire Friday, 1/15/10.

      • Sue

I just realized that the Ritz are Crackerfuls also, so these coupons will not work. Guess I’ll have to use them somewhere else.

        • Sue

I meant Wheat Thins. It is clearly too late for me to try and think!

          • Lisa

Thanks for the info Sue, did not realize actually have not looked at the ounces on the crackerfuls. You saved me some grief because I had planned on sending those in for the rebate. Thank goodness I did not waste a stamp! Thanks again!!

            • Sue

              Glad I could help.

    • JEB

Wasn’t there a Q for MArgaret Holmes out there somewhere or is it expired?

      • Sue

I wish! I love to tell people how awesome these greens are. Even without a coupon. But I think I bought the larger cans last week for just 98¢.

      • Hilary

I think the Margaret Holmes coupon you’re thinking of was a manufacturer’s coupon in one of the publix flyers that expired at the end of 2009, not sure if it was the green one or yellow one. (I think I wanted to use them for greens at Bi-Lo right before new year’s, but I never got a chance to make a run then.) HTH!

    • Olivia

The Lance crackers at our Bi-Lo has a .55 off coupon on the packages. Once they double the coupon, that makes a package only .90!!

      • Karen

Didn’t have the peelies at my store but used the $1.oo off coupon so each pack was $1! I’m in Myrtle Beach, SC.

        • Jerri

what zip code did you guys use to get the lance cracker coupon? it doesn’t come up on mine.

          • Sue

            I think I used 72153. It is smartsource.com.

Anyone else having trouble with stores taking the manufacturer’s coupons with target logo? Are they manufacture’s or target coupons. I’m a newbie…help! Thanks!

      • Ashley

The Publix in West Ashley in Charleston SC wont take them. They say only Target gets reimbursed for them.I think they are wrong because ir says retailer on the Q but they are adamant and wont take them.

        • Jennifer

The Publix on Main Rd (John’s Island) will take Target coupons, they just won’t double competitor coupons (actually they will take any competitor that sells food items including CVS/Walgreens!) May be worth the drive for you? Hope that helps…

        • Tara

          N. Chas Publix (Dorchester Rd at Ashley Phosphate) will take all coupons as well (Rite Aid/CVS/Target) if that is closer to you.

          • Karen

So envious that you have a Publix! I live in Myrtle Beach and was thinking it might be worth the drive to North Charleston for a Publix trip! By looking at all of the couponing websites it seems that Publix has the best deals and accepts competitors coupons!

      • jennifer

I only have trouble with Bi-Lo in Myrtle Beach. Wal-Mart, Lowe’s Food, Kroger, and Food Lion didn’t bat an eyelash. Coupon scanned no problem. Tried to use Kelloggs $5 off 4 boxes today at Bi-Lo, and the register wouldn’t take it. Lucky me the clerk asked a manager and after a couple of minutes of explaining the difference between Target’s store and manu coupons she did an override. I was very very lucky. She also said that corporate has put in alot of new blocks on coupons especially internet coupons. All in all, just be polite, try to point out the difference, all else fails just take the coupon back and return the items you didn’t want without coupon.

        • Karen

Hi Jennifer I too live in Myrtle Beach, just wanted to say hello to a local couponer!

          • Jennifer C.

            Hey from Georgetown!

      • Carrie

My Bi-Lo and Harris Teeter won’t take them. After trying a couple of different places I gave up trying to fit those into my plan–just too much time and emotion wasted!

    • Jessica

My bilo has phili cream cheese and international delight coffee creamer on bogo this week, I bought 2 of each for a grand total of under $1 for all four items with my IP’s

      • Cynthia

According to last weeks ad, the deal, $5 OYNO wyb 5 Kraft products,is running thru the 24th, so that should make cream cheese free before any coupons if it’s bogof! I’ll be checking my store for that. Thanks!

    • Tiffany

I can’t get Bilo or Food Lion in Rock Hill, SC to take the manufacturer’s coupons that say Target or any other store on them. Also, I couldn’t use the Nabisco Cracker coupon $2/2 on the 100 calorie packs. Do you have to buy the 100 calorie pack crackers for these to work?

      • Theresa

I got the 100 calorie packs to work and I am in Columbia.

    • nina

awesome deal I scored today!!! – while I was doing some coupon shopping only getting things I planed to get super cheap I passed the kellogg’s special K bars. I love them. They are running a deal buy 5 get 3$ off instantly. Well I said its not on my list and I am trying really hard to stick to the list. Well at the end of my shopping after I paid and got my reciept back, she handed me a 3 dollar off coupon my next visit. I am not sure how ( but it was from a nabisco deal ) well That gave me 6 dollars off and 5 boxes and they were 1.99 a piece so that’s 10 dollars minus 6 = 4 dollars well then she said we also take other store coupons if you have any like say target.. I was like OH OH I know I have a few of those.. sure enough I had two I had printed last week.. so then I snagged another box.. so long story short. I got 6 boxes for 4.28!!!! how awesome is that! if only I could do it again hahaha! =)

      • RebeccaF

Isn’t it fun to deviate from a plan sometimes?!?!! Lol. Great outcome. I gotta try that now too. :D

    • RebeccaF

I had an awesome Bi-Lo trip today. It was $13x.xx worth of groceries and I got it down to $22.xx PLUS I found a $15 MIR in the beer aisle so I’ll be getting it all for $7 when said and done! Yippeeee! I have to admit that I was bummed when I got home only because I realized I had a $10 Bi-Lo gc (from that Kellogg’s deal a while back) and I forgot to use it!!! Dughhhhh! Lol. Well, it’s not like I’m never going back right?!??!! I mean, who can stay away from deals like that! I got 10 Healthy Choice dinners, about 8 boxes of Lance cracker and cookies, a boatload of Birds Eye veggies, some Int. Creamers, Quaker Oatmeal and sadly, I used my $2/2 coupons to get free a bunch of free animal crackers from Nabisco. I should have used them for the other deal but I had a brain fart, lol. Still, my lil’ one will love having those for car snacks from time to time. :D

      • RebeccaF

BTW, they had the animal crackers (the kind with the cute lil’ animal train “purse”) for $10/10 so with the five $2/2 Nabisco crackers qs, I was able to get them all for free. :D And what I listed above is by no means the whole amount that was in my cart … and there was a LOT in my cart. The sweet young male cashier was totally stunned, even before I gave him the coupons since we rang it up without the Bi-Lo card, then gave him my card and watched the savings drop. After the coupons, he was floored, especially when I told him about the MIR, lol. I’m sooo happy! Thanks Jenny for helping me get where I’m at today! :D

    • Mary

Jenny – Can you tell me where the catalina for the nabisco 100 calorie crackers is located? I went today and it did not print one and I cannot find it in the sales papers or website. TIA!

      • Sue

Did you buy them? A catalina prints after you purchase the required items.

        • Mary

Yes I bought them, of course that machine was not working and now I have to prove I’m supposed to get it!

    • Carrie

Jenny, what do you mean when you say “Bi-Lo ad’s have very different B1G1 prices than Bi-Lo stores”? My husband works at the Bi-Lo corporate office in the dept that does the programming for the ads/prices. He said that the store prices should be the same as what is run in the ad – there may be regional differences (Charlotte vs. Columbia vs. Greenville etc.) but the stores prices should be exactly what is run in the appropriate ad. If not, then that store needs to put in a “problem ticket” and my husband’s department will have to fix the problem on their computers!

      • Jenny

Most weeks the ad in print will say B1G1 at $3.24 and you get to the store and the shelf tag is B1G1 at $4.24. I use the ad for Columbia and shop in Columbia so I would think they would match too, but normally on these big weeks at least 15-20 will be way off. I’ve asked the store management before and was told that the price listed is a corporate price for the item??

        • Carrie

My husband is going to bring our comments in to his office and find out what is up with this. I’ll let you know what he finds out.

          • Janelle

We have the same problem here at BiLo in Simpsonville SC. Not sure why their prices are so off from what is advertised as a sale.

          • Sue

Several months ago when Dixie Paper Plates were BOGO, they were 2.65 in one store and 3.65 in another about 20 miles away. These were both in small towns in Upstate SC. That is 38% higher.

        • Mary

We had this problem at our store when the ads would say “save at least $x” and our prices would be at least $1 more. Then when they changed the sales paper before Christmas to say “save up to $x” our price is generally that price or just a tad lower. I figured corporate was getting a lot of flack about the price differences.
One example: they had spray n wash for “save at least $4.99” and our store was like $6.50. I got a raincheck and when I went in a few weeks later the price on shelf was $4.99. It made me feel like they were uping prices for sales instead of using regular prices!!

    • Jerri

does anyone know the zip code for the lance cracker coupon?

      • Theresa

        Try 29073

    • Ty

There is a printable $.35 coupon for sweet n low at sweetnlow.com. Just click on coupons at the top of the page. Makes them $.41 a box.

    • L. Shepherd

Does this list take into account the coupons that will come out this weekend (1/17) since Bi-Lo’s ad runs thru Tuesday?

    • Theresa

Bilo is a score this week… I just paid $9.58 for a $78.20 order. Thanks sooo much Jenny and friends for all of your help. The bag boy almost lost it when he saw how much we paid.

      • Cynthia

Wow! Would love to see your shopping list! I have two Bi-Lo’s within 7 miles, so I should be able to get a few shopping trips in.

        • Theresa

I used many different computers to get coupons and I get extra papers but this was some of my list that I can remember…
          3 rice a roni…..66 each coupon $1/3
          1 New England Coffee… $1.99 coupon $1 off
          3 Quaker Old Fashion Oats 18 oz… .50 each coupon (3) $1 off
          5 Healthy Choice Steamers… .99 each $5 off
11 Birds Eye Steamfreash frozen vegs..FREE coupon(11).50 off (doubled) and I used some coupons that were $1.50 off so it was overage
          3 Danimals crush cups 4 pks… $1 each… Coupon (3)$1 off
          2 Dannon Light and Fit 6 packs … .80 each… Coupon (2).60 off (doubled)

          Hope this helps…
          (2) 2000 Flushes ……. .89 …. (2) $1 off coupons (1.78)

    • Kristen

I cant find the New England Coffee Coupon! It is my favorite! Blueberry Cobbler, yummmm. What zipcode is everyone using?

      • Amanda

Try 28214. It just worked for me.

    • Amanda

Is anyone else having trouble with the Healthy Choice coupon? I keep getting this message.
We’re sorry, we cannot process this request due to a missing parameter. Please contact the issuer.

Also, does anyone know the zip for the New Englad coffee? I can’t find it either.

I am not having a good coupon day!LOL

      • Amber

My healthy choice one just printed. Not sure how to help but they aren’t out!

        • Amanda

          Thanks. I finally got it.

      • Theresa

I got the same message last night with the Healthy Choice website. Try 29073 on the coffee.

    • Christina S.

I had a great day at Bilo with a 78.97 subtotal, and a 43.03 savings, this is including the fact that I bought some essentials like fruit, bread, jelly, etc. FYI/HEADS UP: My local bilo in Simpsonville SC had the Finish/electrasol liquid lemon scent on Close out for 2.26 (there is a 50cent printable, and also last week I believe had 40cents off both of which double. I found this to be a great deal b.c. dw detergent rarely goes on a really good sale, imo.

    • Hey! I’m looking for a matchup source for Piggly Wiggly. Know of any?

      • kathi

I’d love a match up for PW but I am not sure it is “doable” because they have too many variables. SOME Pigs are independently owned and they can do what they want to do (the one nearest me chooses to offer the same specials as the corporate stores AND to offer their own specials as well) others are coprorate stores and follow what their hq tells them. I live near Charleston and I know for a fact that people around here who get the Post and Courier get different PW sales inserts depending on their zip code!

    • Brenda

Is anyone else having problems printing the printable coupons above? I had no problems printing them last week and can print the 2000 flushes coupon from the “New Printable Coupons, High Value” section, smartsource and coupons.com. When I go to print the ones listed above, it says “please wait” after I click to print and nothing ever happens. Thanks for any feedback you have.

      • Pam

I had trouble with it earlier this morning. The computer opened a link and just said “please wait” but nothing printed. I then realized that I was on FF instead of IE, but had clicked on the IE link. I went back and clicked on the FF link and the coupons printed without problem. Might be worth checking out.

Also, not sure if this was on the list above but my Bi-Lo has Dove deoderant on sale for $3 so, with the $2 off coupon in the “high value” section (I think that’s where it was), I got Dove deoderant for $1 today. I just spent $9.08 and got 4 bxs of 100 calorie Nabisco snacks; 2 boxs of Ritz Crackerfuls; 1 bx of Quaker Oatmeal; 1-Dove deoderant; 2-2000 Flushes; & 1-Lysol “on-the-go” spray – it also printed the $2 off my next shopping trip coupon for the 4 bxs of Nabisco!

        • Brenda

it worked. thanks, pam. you’re the best. you’ve done your good deed in helping me save some money today!

        • Chrissy

Is FF hard to use. I also use it and couldn’t get anything to come up. I try to use it instead of IE, as mine always crashes for some reason. Just can’t coupons to print on FF. I’m not sure if there is something you need to do to allow it.

    • Elizabeth

How do you know what the catalina deals are….Where are these posted? I was afraid to try the Nabisco 100 cal pack deal because the sale paper and the aisle had nothing to advertise this. Please let me know the inside scoop on where to find these hidden deals. OR maybe it is just a regional thing. Sorta mad that I didn’t try it….

      • Tina

I would like to know this too. How do you know about the Nabisco deal, and how do you know it will print? It is not in my ad.

      • Frances

My store had the signs up for the B1G1 on the Nabisco 100 calorie deals but said nothing about the catalina. I bought the 4 boxes and my $2 catalina printed fine.

My store did not have the Ritz Crackerfuls. The Wheat Thins were NOT on sale. I took two different boxes to the self-scan to make sure.

Also, my store did not have Marcal paper towels or tiolet paper.

I am not complaining but just letting people know so they would waste their time searching for products like I did.

The Hunger Jack pancake syrup was $2.98 for 27.5 oz (not on sale). I used the .55 coupons which were doubled. Not an outstanding price but I needed syrup.

Thanks Southern Savers – another good week! If the coupon workshops are being taught in your area, PLEASE attend. They are terrific!

    • Jamie

Thanks Jenny for the site! I had a small but successful trip. Spending $14 and saving $22. Will have to go back, there was Egg Beaters and Baked Tostitos on sale and I didn’t have the coupons with me :O

    • Terry

in Rock Hill, SC our Bi-Lo ad says they double coupons up to $.99 instead of $.60

      • Cynthia

        Lucky you. :)

    • Laura

I don’t usually go to BiLo but had a great trip today ! Purchased $ 67.02 in items for $ 33.81. I got Lays chips, Ritz crackerfuls, Betty Crocker potatoes, Butterball variety pack, bottom round roast, Colgate toothpaste, Tums, 2 Aveeno shampoos, 2 Aveeno foaming cleansers, Purpose soap, and Clean & Clear acne medicine. I was buying the Johnson & Johnson stuff in hopes of getting an additional $ 10.00 rebate, but saw that the Purpose soap is not included in the rebate items. Unfortunately, this will put me a little short on the $ 30.00 Johnson product total. Oh well, I still got all of the Johnson & Johnson stuff for $ 18.26 – not a bad deal !!!

    • Cynthia

I just came back from Bi-Lo. Saved 35.84 off a 56.86 order. Was totally bummed when they would only let me use one of the Steamfresh veg. Q’z because it says one coupon per purchase! I couldn’t get them to believe that it means one coupon per item. They tried to tell me the same thing on 2 Marcal Q’s, which were 2 different Q’s on 2 different items, one TP and one paper towel! They couldn’t argue with that after I told them it was 2 different ones, but offered no apologies and were adamant on the Steamfresh, so I had them take all but one off. I guess I’ll be taking my business to the next Bi-Lo, where they are oh so friendly and helpful. It’s 5 miles further, but no tax on food in SC, so hopefully it’ll be worth it.

      • Theresa

Wow…I got 11 bags of Steamfresh vegs and used 11 coupons at my Bi-Lo. I would go some where else too…

    • Janet

Bi-Lo in Goose Creek is now accepting mfg coupons w/competitor logo. The customer service rep at the counter mentioned it on Sunday when I was getting a couple of rainchecks. WOO HOO!!! I was only using them at Publix and now I can take advantage of using them at Bi-Lo when there is a good deal.

      • c

on st james, about a block from publix?

thanks for the heads up, is this bi-lo still writing on rainchecks “expires in 30 days”?

    • I found that I have coupons for $1 off the purchase of two packages of Chi-Chi’s tortillas, any variety. The experation date is 2/28/10. Not sure if anyone has any but it would make the tortillas only $.69 for two. Just wanted to share if it would help anyone.

      • Cynthia

I have some, too. I remember that them being extra’s (not listed) in my inserts back in Dec. Great deal, and they are so soft and good!

    • kathi

This is the 2nd Tuesday afternoon in a row I have been in BiLo grabbing a few last minute deals and noticed they are putting out the next week’s loss leaders–and the signs are up w/ the special prices so I assume that they will ring up for that! Look for Keebler fudge shoppe cookies this week!

    • Jerry

We found the Stacy’s coupon…on the CVS site. It is titled “$1 Off Frito Lay”, and Stacy’s is written in tiny print.

    • Marlene

Found coupons for Fast Fixin’/Fast Classics Product $1/1 20oz+
      at http://www.fastfixin.com
