Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 2/24-3/2

on 2.23.2010 at 9:45pm

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are the deals at Bi-Lo starting 2/24. I’m hoping we aren’t seeing a new trend of a lot less B1G1 deals. This ad is a lot like last week but hopefully you can still find some deals to get. If you find all the lost B1G1 deals or other deals in the store please share!

I have it unofficially that 2/26-2/28, you will get double fuel perks!

Coupon Policy:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

My ad has that there are Double Fuel Perks the 26th to the 28th.

    • Diana

How do I get the “booklets” mentioned. Like the “Thank You Mom” and the “school days made simple”??

    • SAN

    • Kristy

Jenny.. I have to agree with you I really hope this isnt a trend. There used to be such great BOGO's and now they are horrible!!

    • jenntmH

Thank you Jenny! Looks like I may only be purchasing OJ and toilet paper from them this week :-( On the bright side, we are so stocked up that a few weeks to eat from our stockpile would be OK :-)

    • ashley4

frustrating! i was looking forward to a great ad…hopefully publix :)

    • xseannax

Looking at my Bi-lo ad starting 2/24 and the Tropicana is actually 2/$6 (you save 1.38), so it would be 2/$5 with the $1 off 2 coupon.

    • stella

Jenny, I wish you lived in our area. We can also get crazy good deals at Lowe's Foods, but there is no mom that posts the deals as wonderfully as you do! If someone knows any different, please let me know where to look! The only other good grocery places we have are Bi-Lo and Harris Teeter. We don't have all these great places like Jewel, Publix, etc.

On another note, perhaps Bi-Lo is going to pick it up at the first of the month…hopefully!

        • Jan

Do you know if Lowe's Foods will accept 2 coupons for BOGO items? There's no answer in their copouning faq on their website. Thanks!

          • Jennifer

Yes, Lowes accepts 2 coupons for BOGO. I've found them to be very coupon friendly.

            • Jan

Thank you! Time to use my stash of Smithfield bacon q's! (It's BOGO this week.)

        • deniseCLT

the last post on this website for lowe's foods was in Dec.2009

    • christen

well i guess i will keep my fingers crossed for a better ad next week! thanks for your hard work!

    • Anonymous

You can also go to sunnyd.com and get a printable coupon.

      • Jennifer

Thanks for the link! My son was just saying yesterday that I never buy Sunny D anymore…looks like I'm getting ready to stock up!

    • Kathi

I am collecting my q's. I've been saving them up for another double fuelperks day. In the first 6 weeks of 2010 we earned $1.15 per gallon (do the math that was $23 off a 20 gallon tank of gas for our minivan!) In theory that means we would've had to spend $1150 at Bilo in 6 weeks–we actually spent much closer to 35% of that in actual $–the rest was q's and double fuel perks! So we are only at .10 in fuel perks right now BUT I can guarantee that by the end of the double fuel perks we will be at least at .30, possibly at .40 and we still won't be over grocery budget for the month (thought we are probably going to have more pasta than we need—hello Food Bank, I am certain they will find a good use!)

      • Julie

How do double fuel perks work and What are Q's?

        • Kathi

Double fuel perks work just like regular ones BUT instead of getting .05 off a gallon per $50 spent you get .10. Q's are coupons and BiLo counts manufacturer q's the same as cash spent at BiLo toward Fuelperk totals!

To maximize your Fuelperks, try to spend your q's only when they are running the doubles if the good price will last that long (for example I have q's to get free pasta this week. I could have cashed them today BUT if I wait until Friday that should put my $ total over $50 on Friday which will give me .10 off per gallon as opposed to .05) Also try to keep your total spent (actual $ AND q's–this was hard for me to remember because while I shop I keep a running total of the $ it is going to cost) under $50 if you can while still making use of the sales. I have personally gone over 3x already this month because of either things we needed then or the sale was going to go off. BUT sometimes you have a reasonable choice to buy now or buy later and if you do, choose to meet those $50 bench marks when the perks double

      • CassandraK

Just wanted to mention that fuelperks are going on today through sunday if you hadn't heard already :)

    • JANIE

I just looked at the scanned ad online and the banquet meals are not $.12 they are actually $.88 and you save $.12.

    • Marcel Small Steps tissue paper is on sale at my Bilo for $1.00 each and I used the free for up to $1.60 something coupons and got 8 free tissues!

      • toma777

What BILO? I have lots of coupons for that but my BILO only sales it in the 8 pack!

    • tylivymommy

Joy Dish detergent is on sale for $1 and there's a $0.30 coupon from the last P&G insert, which would make the Joy only $0.40!

      • BrandonabdChassitysmom

If you have a Fred's in town Joy is $0.89 and they double the coupon on Saturdays only making it $ 0.29.

        • catstrag

i found the fred's pickens sc and liberty sc does not take online coupons. disappointed me all to pieces since they had the best deal on dog food and cleaning supplies.

      • catstrag

        but tiny bottles

    • Suemh

Maybe the shorter list is because of the 8 week price lock items. But then, I thought maybe the price lock was just another name for the Bonus Saver ad.

    • Sam

It seems like every month there are better deals at the beginning of the month than at the end of the month so hopefully next week will be a good week!!

      • CassandraK

Which is kind of weird because around here the stores won't have good deals because that's when people get their welfare and social security checks. It really seems unfair but I guess that's how they make their money.

    • kristen

      What no meal deal? bummer!!
If anyone has extra $2 off land o frost printable, I would LOVE to have them; trade?

      • Emily

I used my $2/1 immediately after printing, this is our favorite lunch meat, but I found a $0.60/1 coupon inside the bags. There is a little game piece, in a plastic wrapper. Open the pastic wrapper and their is a coupon with the game piece–for those who have already used their Qs.

      • catstrag

    • elisa

Not a great ad, but the Mueller's coupon apparently does not have a limit on how many you can print (I stopped at 8). And the Fast Fixin' chicken told me I had printed my limit, but then printed 5 more anyway. Since Bi-Lo is right down the road, I think I'll swing by to grab these and see if they have restocked the lunch meat yet.

    • gailc63

I used to shop at Bilo all the time but their prices are just getting higher and higher..and the customer service doesn't come close to Publix. I'll wait for Publix and Kroger's sales!

    • Amber in SC

For the first week since I started “couponing,” I didn't go to Bi-Lo last week. I was getting my qs ready to go and I was shocked when I only had to go to Publix. Not a bad thing, IMO, but sad that Bi-Lo's sales weren't that good. I did stock up on J'ville brats at the begining of the month, though, so no hard feelings. :) I hope there's enough for me to earn some of those double fuel perks. I love earning those. Paying under $2/gal for gas really leaves me feeling excited. :) I also just recently noticed that fuelperks are rewarded on your total before qs. On the trip when I stocked up on brats, my total before qs was $112.xx and I earned $.30 in FP b/c I only needed $.50 to go to earn the next and then the $100 earned $.20 more. I think I paid around $83 for over $200 in mostly meat w/ a few other things that trip. My guy cashier looked like he was going to faint or something. He said, “Wow! You spent half of what you would have!”

    • debrasc

    • Thanks for including Fast Fixin!

    • junequilt

Anyone know if Bi-Lo accepts drugstore coupons? Walgreens had a $.50 off Ocean Spray juice store coupon in their Make Your Sweetheart Happy booklet, and it's good through 2/27.

      • bn

my store doesn't take competitor coupons but you could definitely ask the manager!

      • Johanna

My bi-lo does take competitors coupons. They actually took my WalGreen's register rewards that I earned during great deal on diapers a couple of weeks ago. I had $9 total RR's and it was like having a little gift card or something b/c the RR's aren't product specific so they just came off my total. Great for stuff like milk that you never have coupons for. I don't go to Walgreen's that often so it was nice to get to use those RR's at BiLo.

Don't forget to fill out your online survey every week to get your “free item” coupon. This month it's pudding.
I know when I fill out my Bi-Lo survey this week, I will complain about the lack of BOGO. Maybe if alot of us comment on this, something will change?

what are you talking about the online survey?? I am new to Bi-Lo and have no clue? Please share…

        • noteworthymom

On the bottom of your receipt it says “enter for a chance to win $250.” Follow the directions and fill out the survey. When your done, it takes you to the BiLo page and it has your free coupon in the upper right hand corner. Click and print.

Bi-Lo is the place to go for Ice Cream this week!! I really stocked up. They had so many great ones on close-out! I even go my favorite Dove bars!

Our Bi-Lo in Monroe, NC would not take the Mueller's printable coupons!!! We are so upset! I bought 8 at a different Bi-Lo the other day and sent my friend to get the same deal. The Mueller's site will let you print as many as you want and b/c of the doubling they were free! So frustrating! Also, our Bi-Lo said that they are not doing the Smuckers, Buy Theirs, Try Ours deal.

Hi, I had the coupons from the booklet that was sent out, and they had to be hand punched in, but the cashier did it with not a problem… just ask a manager.

      • elisa

I used these at two different Bi-Lo's and both times they would not scan and had to be typed in by a manager. Both Bi-Lo's typed them in for me, but only one doubled them. If it weren't such a great deal on an item we use a lot, I wouldn't even bother with Bi-Lo. In my experience, they are always a hassle when it comes to coupons.

Our bi-lo did not have the SH chicken breasts for B1G1 instead they had the sirlion tip roast. And our Ekrich was not b1g1 either just on sale. There is also a promo they are running for Nabisco 100 calorie packs buy 3 get $1, buy 4 get 2 or buy 5 or more and get 3 back on next purchase. This is running until 3/21. It started today. Also Raisin Bran was 3.73.

I tried using the Mueller's 55/1 coupon today and BiLo told me that it was a fake coupon and they were not allowed to accept these (something about there not being a serial number on the q). Did anyone else have this problem? And exactly what are they talking about anyway? The coupon comes from the manufacture's website…how is that fraud?

      • cristiemc

I had the same problem with the Mueller's coupon at my BiLo. They told me that it was fake because it didn't look like most online coupons. Luckily another manager was in the store and said that she had printed the same coupon, so she knew it was from the Mueller's website. The only downside is when they have to override a coupon, it doesn't double it.

        • Paige

I also had a problem with the coupon and the cashier asked it I had copied it. I showed her the website I had printed it from (on the top of my printout, just in case) and she called over another cashier who checked the item and then put the coupons in by hand and she DID double them for me. It worked out great but I definitely got nervous when they wouldn't scan!

Bilo is printing out a coupon at the register: save up to $2.50 on your next purchase of chicken, hamburger, or tuna when you buy chicken, hamburger, tuna helper. When you go back on yr next trip to bilo and purchase the specified items it actualy doesnt take the money off on that visit. It prints you out a coupon for up to $2.50 when you come back the next time. Beware that the coupon is misleading and you dont save until the following trip after your next purchase. The manager at the Greenwood store is quite rude.

Got my BiLo sale paper for March 3rd today. Very slim pickins. Hardly any BOGOs at all.
