Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 2/3-2/9

on 2.3.2010 at 1:20am

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

These deals start Wednesday 2/3 at Bi-Lo.  This is a long ad, but they are running something different so long does not necessarily mean good.  There are “Price Lock” deals that will run for 8 weeks, some are good, some not so much.  A really great deal can’t run that long when you think about it.

If you see any other coupons or deals please share!shoppinglist

Coupon Policy:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

Don't think the Hefty plates and cups coupon will double. Starts with a 9…not a 5

    • Deb

    • Bradley

Nice ad this week, lots of things I use! :) So excited! Thanks

    • Bella

Jenny, Do you know of any catalina deal running at Bi-Lo for Kraft salad dressing or Old El Paso products. I see them elsewhere, like Kroger, but don’t know if it’s true here. Thanks for all you do.

      • chattanoogacheapskate

They are running an Old ElPaso catalina deal from 1/25 – 2/21. It's the best!
        Buy 3 ~ Get $1 OYNO Beef/Chicken, Buy 6 ~ Get $3 OYNO Beef/Chicken
        Buy (6) Heat & Serves, Use (6) 50¢ Q's which will double
        Pay $1.50 ~ Get $3 Catalina Back!
Also, if you have any pink peelies, your OOP will be even lower, as those are for FREE taco seasoning.

        • deniseCLT

do you know if the deal is just for heat and serves or is it for any old elpaso products?

    • There is a display for the New Bit O Luv Dog Treat in some stores with a 1/1 Q to match above making each 1.24

There was a 1/2 Kraft Cheese singles Manuf Q from one of the recent Publix Booklets HEALTHY WALLET HAPPIER YOU, making each one 1.34

There were also several SUAVE Manuf Q's in the 1/31 which should make for some cheap or FREE shampoo and conditioner depending on your Q value.

    • Denise

Thanks for your help with the coupon deals. You spot more than I do on those adds.
I think the Old El Paso dinner kits would be $1.45 each because the Q is $.55 off 2. Is that right?

      • lrose57

Yes, I noticed that error too… but with the catalinas that you get back… it is still a great deal. Buy them first and then ring up the meat after with the coupons…

    • danaclt

I went to my local BiLo last night, and to my suprise, they doubled all my coupons – even my .75 ones! (Rivergate – Charlotte, NC)

      • paigewilliams2003

They double up to .99 here in Statesville – It depends on the store

      • Cathy

I have been to 2 Bi Lo's in the Charlotte/Pineville area and I was told they double up to 99 cents.

      • OneThriftyMomma

I regularly shop the Rivergate Bi-Lo. They double up to $.99 all the time.:)

    • Jeannine

I’ve had problems with my local Bi-Lo accepting coupons for the “free” items you get with the Meal Deal… are others having this problem? There are plenty of Bi-Los for me to pick from, so if I need to go to another or let mine know that others are honoring the coupons, just let me know!
      Thanks for all you do!

      • I've never had that problem. One of them, many months ago had several coupons to go with the meal deal and my store took them no problem, which they should! They will get reimbursed by the company for the coupon no matter what the store chooses to charge their customers.

        • OneThriftyMomma

If it's right to use a coupon on something you don't pay anything for simply because the store gets reimbursed, then if you buy a $.95 item, why does a $.50 coupon only double $.45? You can only use a coupon to discount what you pay. The stores aren't supposed to pay us to take their products. You can only use a coupon to discount your price. Otherwise, in my opinion, it's fraud.

          • Jen

I'm pretty sure the double is paid by the store, so it makes sense for them to only go up to the product price, so I don't think it's quite the same.

      • muddboggmom

When you have coupons for the free items on the meal deals, have them scan your Bi-Lo card AFTER you get your total and use your coupons. If I understand correctly, when you scan your card before the transaction, those free items don't show up on the receipt and the computer doesn't “think” you actually purchased them. Hope this works for you.

        • Jeannine

got it! That makes sense, because they do show up on the receipt as $0.00. I'll try that! Thanks!!!

        • Brooke82

The cashier at my store told me that they HAVE to scan the bonuscard first. Boy is she a liar!

          • rebecca

Please don't call a cashier a liar when she is only trying to do her job. Have any of you couponers thought about the fraud involved with the current couponing craze? There are a LOT of people (I know, because I have stood in line behind them) who use expired coupons or who try to use a coupon for an item without purchasing it. I use coupons myself, but I watch dates, sizes, stipulations, etc.

It's wrong to try to use a coupon when the item is going to be free in the meal deal.

        • Tracy T

The problem with that is you other coupons don't double. You have to scan your Bilo card for hte q's to double

        • natkins

If you have them scan your card after all coupons they do not double in my previous experiences with them. I went on Thursday and did the “meal deal” thing and used 2 Digorno pizza coupons and 1 of the pretzel coupons and didn't have any problems. Good Luck!

      • tarabell

I have too at my Bilo in Lexington, SC. But, today they had the 1.00/2 Digornio pizzas to use with the meal deal and they took it.

    • Bi-lo has the “take the our brands challange” coupons. These are great. They are like b1g1 free Q. You just get one name brand and one off brand. If your like me and don’t really care about the brands this is a great deal.

You must have a bi-lo bonuscard to register online to receive your Q’s.

      • Karen219

They have buy Clorox Bleach get the Southern Home brand for free right now.

    • CEllis

3/$5 Kraft cheese on sale this week plus $1/2 man Q = $1.16 per package of cheese. (this is the price if you buy only 2 packages of cheese.)

Remember you don’t have to buy all 3 to get the sale price for bilo.

    • VanessaCook

I found a Fuze coupon from one of the Kroger inserts from a while back…not sure when. It is .55, so it would make profit.

    • Jen

      Jenny and others,
I saw a commercial last night for http://www.couponbug.com . Have any of you heard of that site? I went there and was able to print several of the ame coupons that coupons.com and smartsource have, including the checkmix, kraft, and others. I had never heard of it. Looks like it could be another source for the highvalue printables.

    • lisashepherd

Softsoap Q doesn't print. It says that I've already printed the Q or that the promo has ended. :(

      • Jennifer

There was a .35/1 Q in last week’s paper. Not as good a the printable, but still a good one!

      • I've had this problem every time I try to pring that coupon! I don't know what it is about that one that doesn't like my computer… I've never printed it either.

Just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

    • debrasc

When you print your shopping list check to be sure the “grocery” section is there. Mine was missing and it was not at the top as a choice to select.

    • There’s a $1 OFF coupon on the Jimmy Dean Facebook Page – makes it just 99¢!

      • Karen219

        Thanks. Just printed mine.

      • Hollyloki

Jimmy Dean sent my email a onfirmation code, but no coupon! : ( what am I supposed to do with a confirmation code? I can't find any details on their site…

        • codi

did you figure out what 2 do if so let me know I only got the confirmation code 2

        • tori729

You are supposed to continue clicking and it gives you a place to put your email, password and the code and then it gives you a link to the coupon. (bricks)

    • paigewilliams2003

My RP 1/31 has a $1 off any one Edy's product making the ice cream $1.98.

My ad had Duncan Hines cake mix B1G1 too. Not sure if there's a coupon.

Farm Rich B1G1 and a $1 off from SS 12/6.

    • I think this is a great week! I love your new comments, Jenny! This is great and will be a wonderful way to keep track of all of the Jennifers! I am one of them. I usually comment as .Jennifer. This is much easier!!!

    • Sarah

There was a printable (don't remember which site I got it from) for the Deer Park water if you buy 2 24-packs then you get 1 free 6 pack 24 oz sport bottles. Since I like to have those to reuse then it's at least as good a deal as the $1/2 coupon if you have it. I'll try to check at home and see if I wrote down where I printed from.

    • Sarah

Thanks for all the work you do!
a quick FYI…in our north georgia region, the Scott's price is $6.99, not $4.00,
There is a $2.00 of one package of Marcal which is also on sale this week.

      • Alicia S.

Found the Scott at $6.99 in my Seneca store today too.

        • audrasmommy09

Scott was 6.99 in Chattanooga, Tn too!!! i was extremely disappointed!!!!!

      • Julie

6.99 here in Greenville, SC, too. I was disappointed!

    • Jennifer

Just a note- The coupons for Old El Paso are off any 2 products so the price per unit would be a lot higher- but a new Old El paso coupon just came out here http://www.bhg.com/partners/oldelpaso/ for .60/2 which will help a little bit.

      • Thank you for this q!

      • deniseCLT

for some reason i'm not seeing the coupon on this website…where should i be looking?

        • esturm1

I found it by clicking on the top Old El Paso ad banner (says “click here for coupon”), which takes you to a Bricks coupon page. You can print off two.

          • deniseCLT

            thank you!!

    • tarabell

When I was at the Bilo in Lexington, SC today, they had 1.00 off coupons for 2 of the Digornio pizzas. Was not sure if you had that listed.

      • Ingrid

Where are the Digiorno coupons located at the Lexington store? Would love to have one. Thanks!

        • Ingrid

Found them stuck to the doors of the freezer case where the meal deal items are located.

    • RebeccaFer

You can make the Meal Deal $1 better by using the $.75/1 q from the Kraft Foods- food & family Q booklet that you can pick up at Foodlion. The really awesome thing about those coupons is they don't expire until 12/31/2010!!!!

So, the whole meal deal, if you have the Super Pretzel q and 2 of the Kraft Foods q would only be $9.58! :D

Keep in mind, FL asks that these books are limited to one per person, per visit. You may have to visit twice or bring a little friend to get their book. :D Here's the rest of the coupons in the booklet
Manf Qs that start with a 5:

      .55/1 Kool-Aid canister
.55/2 Jell-O gelatin or pudding packages
      .55/1 Kraft BBQ sauce
      .75/1 Digiorno pizza
.55/1 Kraft dressing 16oz or larger
.75/1 Nabisco cookies or crackers (yes, Oreos included!)
.55/1 Kraft shredded cheese or Philadelphia cream cheese
$1/1 Butcher's Brand premium beef and one Kraft Real Mayo Mayonnaise

PS LOVE the new form Jenny! :D

    • FYI – Simpsonville, SC Fairview Rd Bilo

My Chore Boy Scrubbers rang up $1.29 BOGO ($0.65) so after $0.55/1 printable doubles, they are FREE + $0.45 overage.

Also, Mr Clean Magic Eraser rang up $2.27 BOGO ($1.14) so after $0.75/1 from Home Made Simple Booklet it was $0.39.

Lastly, found Aveeno Nourish + Hair Care on the Clearance rack for $3.50. After $2.50/1 coupon from SS 1/10, only $1. Qualifies for Beauty of All Ages Rebate if that is still going.

I was pleasantly surprised to notice the cheaper prices! :)

      • jennc731

Hi Ashley, I have been looking for a coupon for the Chore Boy Scrubbers. Would you share with me where you found it? Thanks :-) Jennifer

    • Teresa

I am looking for the Post cereal coupon from RP and SS and I cannot find it when I go to the printable coupon section on your website. Any ideas how to get this coupon? I am pretty new at this. Thanks, Teresa

      • bradleyr

go to post's website and sign up for email newsletter they will then give you the $2 coupon through email i think. You can only print it once though. Hope that helps!

    • shetang

There is a $1 printable for reynolds wrap. Will make it $1.99 (coupon fine print excludes 20, 25, and I think 75)
Choice of aluminum foil, recycled foil, or parchment.

    • Denise

The Cleveland Tn Ocoee Crossing Bi-Lo had PG Tips tea B1G1. I've never seen this on sale before, so if you like real English tea now's the time. I was tempted to by them all, but I did leave a few!

    • Becky

In the Rock Hill ad there is a box advertising $4 off instantly wyb 4 fruit snacks or General Mill cereal. I was wondering if anyone else saw this or have tried it yet. Thanks

      • Jessica

I had that same deal at my store- I used 2 $0.40 off 2 fruit snacks and 2 $0.55 off (1) trix coupons to get the deal- then they both doubled plus the $4 off

        • Brooke82

I did this deal tonight but I don't think they took the $4 off. How did it show on your receipt?? I want to know if I did or didn't get the deal before I go back to the store get my money.

    • Brooke82

How many coupons will Bi-Lo accept for one shopping trip????

      • ToriPinSC

As far as a shopping order total, I do not think there is a max. I know that my local Bi-Lo's will only double eight of a particular coupon. [Not sure if that is a corporate policy.] That is, buying 10 cereals, have ten .60/1 coupons. The first eight q's will double, but the last two will not.

        Hope that helps.

        • georgiamom

There is a maximum number of coupons that the computer will accept per shopping trip. My store has a limit of 8, any more than that then a manager must use their override key for the rest.

    • Kimberly

I just wanted to let you know that there are quite a few of the new price lock items at BiLo. They will be introducing new ones every week. Take your coupon book with you because you will run across a lot more in the store.

    • Christy

Moncks Corner ,SC BiLo…Scott papers towels are on sale for $6.99 not $4.

    • Bradley R

I had to use zip 90210 to get pretzel coupon. Thought that might help someone.

      • ingrid

        Yes, it did! Thanks!

    • Brooke82

Beechnut baby food stage 2 is still on sale 10/$4! I purchased 20 jars last week for $8 and also purchased 10 more tonight for $4. This is a good deal if you have a growing little one that likes to eat ALOT! They are also the bigger jars, so they can be used for two meals throughout the day if you mix with the cereal.

      • Brooke82

Also this link is for the beechnut rebate. Save 48 proofs of purchase and receive 4-$1.00 off beechnut products coupons when you send them in. I'm pretty sure this was posted on this website not too long ago but just wanted to remind some of you with little ones.

    • elisa

FYI, Spartanburg Bi-Lo does not have the Post Raisin Bran or Shredded Wheat on sale. It is only the sugary varieties, like Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, etc. May be different for other stores, though.

      • jaimeech

I did find a box of Post Shredded Wheat, vanilla almond over in the clearance section marked down to 1.84. There may have been more, I just caught it out of the corner of my eye and grabbed it on my way out! So free!

    • Mary_P

Has anyone tried to use the Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap, 7.5 oz, $1.00
with a 35 cents (will double) but my coupon says in the fine print on any 8.5 ox Softsoap liquid had soap, which Bilo has another Premium Softsoap on sale 2/$4, it says 7.5 oz so I was wondering if the coupons will work?

      • jaimeech

I didn't read the fine print (I guess I should do that!)… but I did use .35/1 coupons for the ones I got. I got some of the squatty ones and some of the aquarium ones that were a little larger…

      • Brooke82

I used the same coupon the other day for the 7.5 oz. It worked for me!

    • deniseCLT

In Charlotte, the tabasco sauce is B1G1 at 1.75 (so 88 cents each). I was surprised that they let me use 2 coupons on a b1g1, and the coupon in the CLT paper was for 75 cents off one. They doubled this coupon for the full amount, which means I made 62 cents on each tabasco. Awesome!

    • Mary_P

Anyone try the Softsoap coupon that is 35 cents off (regional) it says on 8.5 oz, but both sale items on Bilo online say 7.5 oz.

I'd like to buy the $1 Softsoaps and use the 35 cents off (doubled, so 70 cents off) and only pay 30 cents. Has anyone tried this? Does the coupon work for the 7.5 oz.?

    • leiawatson

I can't get these coupons to print. Any Suggestions?

Teton Valley Baked Potatoes, 26 oz, at $4.99 ($2.49)
-$1 off Teton Valley Ranch Quicksides potatoes printable (if included) (makes it $1.49)

    • Robin

on the Dole fruit jars at Bi-Lo: I see the Q for the little fruit bowls but aren't the jars different?

    • Suemh

Did not have th 55¢ Dole coupon, mine were for fruit cups. Then I remembered that I got some $1 Q's a while back from Vocal Point. Makes them 39¢.

    • Becky

Anybody know of a catalina deal for Kraft cheese.? Seems like I remember seeing something about so much off your next shopping trip when you bought Kraft cheese, but I can't find the little Catalina slip it was printed on. Or maybe I'm just imagining things??? If anybody knows, I'd certainly appreciate the details.

      • Morgan

Yes, I remember it, but I am pretty sure it was only for one week. If I recall correctly, it was printed in the flyer and it was a $5 voucher when you bought five Kraft items. I remember it because it didn't print for me and it was an ordeal trying to figure it out. So no, you are not imagining things!

    • barbara

Must have only been some boxes…I bought 2 boxes on Saturday and I just checked…no coupon. Bummer! I love these but rarely buy them for lack of good sales.

Seneca Bi-Lo The Scott paper towels are actually 6.99 and not 4.00 as stated here. Also, the Bush's Chili or Kidney Beans were more than .80 but can't remember how much. However Organix Shampoo/Conditioner was only 3.18 each instead of 3.99. Wet Ones were only 1.27 and Hefty Sandwich bags were only 126.

I had the same problem with the Scott bath tissue…still got the 12 mega rolls (=32 rolls) for $5 which is not too bad but i was pretty disappointed that it wasn't the $4 it said on here!!

Bilo would not let me use the coupon for the Pretzels! Anyone else have that problem?

The V8 IP is only for the V8 V-Fusion Juice. :( I was so excited to get it for $1! Oh well…

Thanks so much! I loved your class last night and I am actually preparing to go shopping this evening. As for the Tabasco coupon in the SS 1/31,my coupon is for .75 cents off, not .50 cents as you have listed above. Is it possible that I got a different coupon in my book?

Please don't call a cashier a liar when she is only trying to do her job. Have any of you couponers thought about the fraud involved with the current couponing craze? There are a LOT of people (I know, because I have stood in line behind them) who use expired coupons or who try to use a coupon for an item without purchasing it. I use coupons myself, but I watch dates, sizes, stipulations, etc.

It's wrong to try to use a coupon when the item is going to be free in the meal deal.
