These deals start today, 4/22 at Bi-Lo. It is a pretty good week, lots of meat and seafood on sale. I also love the .69¢ lb apples (B1G1 sale). Thanks to Melanie for help compiling these deals. Check out her blog to see how to make an easy $25!!

If you see anything we missed let me know and I’ll add it to the list.

Remember:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them

    • Adrianne

Whoops – I forgot…I also got 2 boxes of Duncan Hines Cake Mix with the $.35 off Q!

    • Heather

If my Bi-Lo doubles coupons up to $0.99, that would then make the Wishbone dressing $0.50 each, correct? Someone tell me if I’m figuring that wrong . . .

    • Teri

Adrianne, Where did you get the .55 q’s for Reynold’s Wrap?

    • Stefanie

I got 55c Q’s for reynolds wrap as well. Already used them for a good price on alum. foil!

    • Amy

my bi-lo in cleveland tn will not double anymore if the coupons says “do not double or tripple”….is anyone else having that problem? even if it starts with a 5…same thing at Publix.

    • Melissa

I had the same situation occur last week. Also, make sure you watch the IP coupons. The cashier I had last week not only stopped the double on the 5 coupons if that said do not double, etc., she also stopped the double on any IP coupons until I said something about it. This was at Bi-Lo in Cleveland, TN.

    • Adrianne

Teri – they were in this past week’s paper (I don’t remember which insert) but they were for the recycled foil. I found some bricks too today so I’m going to stock up – I was able to print two:

      http://www.reynoldsrecycled.com/?tqnm=qdwlcnw5525469&o=56210&c=RS&p=22805pm46759902661627171&cl=&cp=&eb=1&ci=&bq=&r=&lang=&cista=0

    • ya the vita water still is 1.00 also if you make copies of the coupon they will all scan last week i got 20 today going to get more!!!!!!freeeee

    • kelly

Does anyone have any info on the Sharebuilder mentioned in Merchant Maidens at the top of the post? I always worry about giving out my personal info to companies I’m not familiar with???

    • Jenny (also)

I went to the Bi-lo in Cleveland, TN today, and they gave me no trouble about internet coupons or doubling all of them, (even those that said do not double). I go to the Bi-lo by the new wal-mart if that helps anyone?

Also, the Borden Single Select cheese was on sale for 3/$5, and in the All you this month there was a coupon for $1.00 off. I needed sandwich cheese this week, and .67 isn’t bad. Also, if you go to bluebell.com you can print two 1.00 off coupons, it is on sale for 3.99 this week. $2.99 is a Great price on bluebell ice cream if you are a fan!

    • Mina

Jennifer in Spartanburg said, “. . .if you make copies of the coupon they will all scan last week i got 20 today going to get more!!!!!!freeeee”

The vitaminwater Q states, “coupon may not be assigned, transferred, sold, purchased or reproduced. Any other use constitutes fraud.” You may not have realized it in your excitement over getting a good deal, but just because bar codes can be read from a copy without beeping, does not make the coupon legitimate. The manufacturer is under no obligation to reimburse the store for them because they are counterfeit. Copying and using coupons that way is a form of fraud. It’s the same a stealing from the store or manufacturer. Please do not do that. At best, you will get a reputation as someone to watch at your store and make it more difficult for legitimate users. Worse – you could end up in court or jail. Just because something CAN be done doesn’t make it legal.

I’m not trying to be mean. Just trying to keep you and others out of trouble. There are plenty of GREAT legitimate deals out there. No sense in breaking the law to get more.

    • Melissa

How are you getting the Vitamin Water for free?

    • amy

Copied coupons… they will work at the register but when the store goes to cash their coupons in from the manufacturer and they suspect the coupon to be fraud then the store will not get their money. basically stealing from the store. I can see the mistake because “it worked” at the register BUT it is illegal and hurts the store..then everyone in your community.

I had a very honest friend who was single and did not want hoards of stuff BUT she would find good printable and print herself JUST ONE (not two)…BUT she would take it to her office and the girls would all make a 1 copy each…anyway…she felt horrible when she found out the store was losing out on 5-15 coupons on each one she had printed. she quit that!!

I do not want to be hurtful but it is a good idea to remind new couponers how copying is stealing. look for the codes on the IP coupons that show they are each numbered.

    • amy

JENNY in south cleveland….do they double blinkies???

      • Jenny

        Amy,

If a coupon bar code starts with a 5 and is the right value to double it will automatically double at any store. If the bar code starts with a 9 it will never double.

    • where are the coupons for the viatamin water????

    • Trish

      Hey Jenny,

Please help me! Yoplait singles are on sale at Bi-Lo 10/$6
I have (4).40 coupons. How many do I need to buy, and is this going to be a good deal for me??

      • Jenny

        Trish,

I’m guessing they are .40/6 coupons? Buy as many as you need. I will tell you that is not their lowest price. They will go 10 for $5 as the lowest price. But it is just an extra .10 cents so if you need them buy them :)

With your coupon they will be .46 cents ea, if you wait for the better sale .36 cents ea

    • Trish

      Jenny,

      Thanks! That helps alot.

      To Lula,

I had one vitamin water coupon that I printed, and at my Publix (Harbison in Columbia) on the cooler where the vitamin water is they had a tear off pad. That was a few days ago….

    • Erin

Thought it’d be worth mentioing- the buy 2 Ortega products and there is a $5 rebate when you buy “Bedtime Stories” movie. We thought this movie was soooo cute so to get 2 taco dinners for $1.50 total plus tax AND get $5 back from the movie makes a great date night :)

    • Jenny (also)

Amy in cleveland…I honestly haven’t tried to double any blinkies yet. I picked some up, but the coupons I already had were better than the blinkies. I just checked and all of my blinkies start with a 9, so I don’t know if they would work or not? These are the only coupons I have had so far that started with a 9.

Its people like you that ruin it for the rest of us who follow the rules. Thanks a lot. Copying coupons and using them is fraudulent.Besides that, think of the manager at Bi Lo who probably wont get reimbursed from the company for all those fraudulent coupons you used.

    • mel

how do you print off the uncle bens rice coupon? (under the list of deals for Bi-Lo) I clicked on the “printable” link and when it goes to the site i’m not sure what to do from there. do i have to “join” the uncle bens club?

    • Kate

I just returned from Bilo in Lexington SC. I purchased 2 of the Emerald Nuts that were an adverised BOGO. On this I had the $1.50/2 coupon from SS 3/29. I also purchased 2 rolls of Reynolds Wrap Recycled Foil 2/$5.00 for which I had (2) .55 cents off 1 coupons.(Thanks! Adrianne) I noticed when the cashier scanned these the register beeped. The cashier politely handed me back one .55 cent coupon and the one for the nuts and said “I’m gonna let you hang onto these and use them next time!” To which I replied, “I don’t think so, I bought these items and want to use them now.” She had to call the store manager who told me the coupons were scanning Coupon Not Applicable. The lines were long so I think the manager did an override. So….be on the lookout for the beep at Bilo!

    • Adrianne

Kate – weird…I go to the same Bilo I think…(near highway 6) and none of mine beeped. I guess it was an off night for the registers! Glad the manager did an override – that’s a great store – friendly cashiers and clean, organized and stocked store!

    • Jenn

The stores around here, Greenville, SC will NOT double if they say DND/DNT, even if the start with a 5. Publix will still double though, and Bloom during triples will still triple, just not Bi-lo. I have all but quit shopping at Bi-lo, except for the really, really good deals, and they’re a hometown company. :o(

    • Stefanie

So far the only trouble I’ve had with coupons not doubling here (Greenwood) is the ones that begin with 9. But one time I did have a coupon that was .50 and it only doubled .45 instead of .50. It was weird and never had that problem again.

Yes, and please don’t make copies of coupons a use them. When they turn those in and the mfr sees that the scan codes are not unique, they will not honor them and the store will be out (in your case) $21.60!

    • Stefanie

I didn’t see on your list, but Hormel Chili Master Chili is B1G1F and around the necks of the jars (if someone hasn’t swiped them all) is a Q for $1 off one. This makes them .60 a jar (after Q).

    • Karen

Here’s a pdf for 50cents off Vitamin Water10, making it free. It says “available only at Ralph’s” but it is a manufacturer coupon, meaning the manufacturer will reimburse whatever store accepts it. Keep that in mind for the “Redeem at Publix” manufacturer coupons in their various flyers (AdvantageBuy, Greenwise, etc.).
      http://www.1043myfm.com/pages/vitamin/VW10_09_50cOff_ralphs_Coupon16086.pdf
Please correct me if I am wrong about using manufacturer coupons at any store even if they say “redeem at ~particular store~ only”
      Thank you! And drink up!

    • well amanda and mina the copy of the vita water is legal becuase i can go to the link over and over and reprint as many copies as you like so how can that be illegal when u all put it up such as karen has posted it is a copy so how is that illegal me hitting the link over and over http://www.1043myfm.com/pages/vitamin/vw10_09_50coff_raphs_coupon16086.pdf

    • also the week before if you go back there were people who used the same coupons dont preach when this is being posted on this web site and people are printing and printing the raphs coupons and it is under pdf.so think before you blow someone out of the water!!!!!!!!!also if you reprinted the raphs coupon over and over off of the pdf that is illegal too…

    • kay

to tell you the truth jennifer has a point how can you all say that she is doing something wrong when in fact the people printing the raphs coupon over and over again.so who is anyone to judge anyone about what they are doing!

    • Brandy

I have it on good authority (a friend who works for Bi-lo) that they are having their big b1g1 sale this week starting the 29th!

      • Jenny

They are it is an awesome sale. I just saw the list. Hope to have it up early!!

    • Trish

      Jenny,
I have two $1/2 bags of steamfresh veggie or rice.
Do I buy 2 or four if I want to use both coupons?
If I can use both coupons, and only buy 2, they would be .06 cents, right?

      • Jenny

        Trish,
To use both coupons you have to buy 4. Sorry.

    • Dianna

      JENNY!!!
Please advise. I was looking at some of the previous posts re:vita water. Can you tell me if it is legal to print multiple coupons if it is in that pdf format?
      Thanks

      • Jenny

With the Vitamin water it is legal to print the coupon multiple times if you like. Just use wisdom with when to stop. The coupon is posted on the internet the only concern I have about it is that it is not posted on the manufacturers site but a radio stations site and I worry that Coke (the maker of vitamin water) doesn’t even know what they have gotten themselves into.

    • Stefanie

I know I am not Jenny and I don’t know the rules backwards and forwards. But, here is my personal thought. If I log onto a mfr site and they offer a coupon and it is pdf format, I see nothing wrong with printing it multiple times. I do, however think it is wrong if a coupon has been saved, put into a pdf format and shared. That, I feel, is completely different. That, I feel, would be along the same lines as taking a IP, putting on your scanner and making copies.

    • Stefanie

Sorry, I realized that I said “that, I feel” alot. It is late. I am just wanting ppl to know it this is my opinion, not a rule and not to be hung out to dry for! Take it for what you will!

    • Mina

As long as a Q is coming from a manufacturer’s site and doesn’t have any wording that limits the number of prints, I don’t think it’s wrong. I read the wording, and if it does not disallow the printing of multiple copies, I print whatever I consider is a reasonable amount for my family to use. I wouldn’t save the pdf and continue to print it once it was removed from the site, because I’d consider that to be a stepping over the “may not be reproduced” line. The wording that some posters used earlier was that they COPIED the coupon. That is not the same as printing.

    • Harley

To those of you using the Ralph’s or other store coupons in different stores, do not be misunderstood. The manufacturer does not pay the retailer for accepting those coupons. Also, copying manufacturer or store coupons is an illegal act, and this is being addressed.

    • Mina

Hey, Harley. I looked at the Q they were printing and it’s not a store Q; it’s a manufacturer’s Q. It was no longer at the link for the radio station when I checked last night. The only way I could read it was on a file that someone had saved. So, as far as I can tell, it’s no longer being made publicly available through that site. I’ve never printed it for two reasons. One is that I have my own reasonable number of dollar off ones from the local papers and local stores. The other is that it wasn’t posted directly on the manufacturer’s, store’s, or other site that I’m absolutely sure is trustworthy.
