At 24 hr stores do the sales go into effect right at midnight? I would think so

      • Be careful with shopping right at midnight, I know many stores have trouble early on Wednesdays! Just watch everything very carefully to make sure that it is ringing up correctly.

      • Gayle

I work at a 24 hour store. The price changes are usually sent down automatically from corporate. They go in numerical order. So, store #1’s prices change earlier than store number #250. My stores prices don’t change over until after 1am most weeks. Sometimes the stores can manually activate the price changes, but not often. Hope this helps.

    • cristiemc

Wow!! I'm loving this ad!!! Can't wait till tomorrow when I can get the deals. Thanks, Jenny, for getting these up so early for us. You are the best!

    • mjbacon

What a treat! I just came on here to print off a coupon for CVS, that I'd missed. Now, I can get ready for CVS and Bi-Lo shopping tomorrow and get in bed at a decent time. Yea! Thank you!

    • mf

$0.15 Peanut butter! Whoo hoo!!! Stockpile time! I have a raincheck from this time last year so I believe this is a once a year treat – anyone know differently??

      • Deb

Thanks. I often forget they double $.60 coupons.

    • Sandy

Does anyone have a zipcode for the New England coffee?

    • Jenny R

On a side note: I have been trying to find coupons for Popsicles….turns out there is one in the Kids National Geographic Mag?? Wouldn't of thought of that one!

    • Melcooke

You guys see the catilina deal for kelloggs? Buy ten items get $10 back…..workout great with eggo waffles!

      • Suemh

Have you seen anything that says that Bi-Lo is participating in this?

        • Melcooke

Yes I have a print out from bilo

      • So far I've only heard that this is at Harris Teeter but if you find it at Bi-Lo let us know!

        • it also works at Food Lion!

        • Melcooke

Yes, I got a print out the other day. It runs from 8/1 to 8/14. buy any ten items (Kellogg's Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo, and or Morningstar Farms products) 3.8 oz or larger, any flavor, mix or match in any one shopping trip….get ten back! I have a catalina to prove it with bilo on it!

          • Elizabeth C

I got the same printout. I was just coming to post about this.

          • Beth

Do you think this applies to Pop-Tarts?

            • Denise

Yes, I bought 6 Eggos and 4 Pop Tarts and got the $10.00 back.

        • Denise W.

The $10 catalina for Kelloggs products IS working at Bi-Lo. Did the Eggo deal twice on my lunch break.

I can't find this coupon with my zip code. Any luck?

      • Some to try:

I just think of really big cities around the country and then google it. Example: “New York zip code” :-)

      • Scoutmom316

i didn't even put a zip in and got it. strange

    • My2Kids

I learned yesterday that the BiLo that I go to does not have an expiration date on their rainchecks! This is excellent! BiLo off of Clemson Road in Sandhills.

      • Leah

This is also true of the Bilo in Boiling Springs, SC. :)

    • Theres a $1.00 off any Emeril Product Coupon at http://www.bestemeril.com/ makes the Emeril BAM Meals FREE !

    • Tenn618

I can't find the manwich coupons in my ALL You. Someone at work told me that the copy at Walmart vs. the subscription received at home are different. Have you found this to be true?

      • Christen

The 1.50/4 ConAgra coupon actually makes them cheaper at 62 cents each instead of 66….that might save you some frustration in looking for the All You coupon :)

      • Rebecca Eddy

I noticed All You differences several months ago. The home subscription mag did have a few more coupons than those purchased at Wal-Mart. I have found my newspaper does the same, too.

    • Valerie

I don't see the best life buttery spread on the red plum link, does anyone have a zip?
I haven't figured out how to get SS to print yet, so the other link doesn't help me out.

      • Scoutmom316

I can't get any of the SS to print on one of my comp, either. The other will print occassionally. Enabling java didn't work. Does anybody have an idea? I'd love to get those q's I'm missing out on.

        • Lblaban

I had to use internet explorer as mine had java and FF did not.

      • Try 30003

      • KassieofCharleston

I can only get Smartsource to print through Firefox….

        • guest

I have the same problem, as I also have IE, i open it, and cut and paste the links for the brixx coupons. I have to print them in IE.

    • Scoutmom316

FYI… just got back from BI-lo empty handed. Called to ask if Wednesday sale starts at midnight, was told of course. Got to the store and asked a cashier if the new ad starts at midnight. She asked a manager who said yes. Took my time browsing and cramming a shopping cart. Got to the register at 1 oclock and nothing rang up right. Cashier was super nice and went to get help. After 5 people eventually came to the register I was told I'd have to wait a few hours, they wouldn't override the prices and the manager had the nerve to tell me I wasn't even supposed to have that ad and it couldn't have come in the mail. She was going to take it from me! I understand if the ad doesn't start until say 6 but it should be specified in the ad and several different employees shouldn't have told me otherwise. I can't believe I wasted all that time (did I mention it's 20 min away?) Such is life. The cashier was very nice though and properly horrified for me.

      • I get the BiLo ad in my Tuesday paper – I don't know what the manager was thinking! Sorry for such a frustrating experience.

      • AT

I get the Bi-lo ad every Tuesday. If I was you I would fill out a survey and also email Coporate. That was no way to treat a customer

      • Sarah

I get my ad in the mail every Monday without fail. I would certainly bring it up to corporate if I were you! Sounds like several stores had issues with the sales this week.

      • Scoutmom316

I called corporate who apologized profusely and the store manager called me this morning to apologized as well. In 24 hr stores the sale starts at midnight and if the items don't ring up correctly they are supposed to do it manually, just so you know

        • Lblaban

Don't know if they still do this, but at one they would give you the product free if it rang up wrong.

    • kaseyshadow

Does any one know if the West COla Bilo accepts competiors Q? I have two food lion Q's for the multi chip packs.

      • Yhwhisel

        No they dont, sorry

    • Tessieholliday

Just thought I'd mention that anyone going to the Fernwood Bi-Lo in Spartanburg should be prepared for it to take longer than normal to check out, because most of the BOGO/sale items aren't ringing up properly. The manager said it would be that way all day, so the cashiers are having to manually input all the sale prices for things. My cashier was grateful I had my Southern Savers printout with all the BOGO prices listed!

      • Had the same problem in Gastonia N.C. I could not figure out how I got so overbudget. Had to use my daughters “gold dollar coin”. Checked the receipt out in the car. Brought it back in and the Manager fixed it. 5.98 for 62.92 worth of groceries. Wonderful BILO staff! Got my daughters special coin back.

    • Jan

There is a coupon for $1 off any Emeril's Food Product at bestemeril dot com. I don't see the Bam Pasta listed on their website product list, but it should work right?

      • This Coupon will work I've used it before. Its States $1.00 off any Emeril Food Product.

    • Jan

      Valerie and Scoutmom316:

For SS printables to print, I have to go to my “Printers & Faxes” and select my default printer, then click on “Set printer properties” (on left side panel). Click the “Advanced” tab, and make sure the “Keep printed documents” option is checked. I have to uncheck it for coupons dot com coupons or bricks coupons. HTH!

      • Scoutmom316

thanks for the tip. i think i've tried that b4 but maybe i didn't. hope that does the trick. thanks so much!

      • KassieofCharleston

I can only print Smartsource coupons from Firefox…. ????

    • Kam

I had an awesome trip to Bi-Lo this morning. Lots of sale prices weren't listed on the shelf, but they rang up correctly. I even ran into a former student who I taught in 1995. He is now a manager at Bi-Lo. :))

    • Sandra

      • KelliSC

Be sure to check the receipt!! I did this deal twice today and the $4 did not come off either time. They were kind enough to return my money, but did not seem to have any idea why it wasn't working properly at the register. Yay for cheap snacks this week!

    • Ginger

I can't find the All coupon in our paper:-(

      • KassieofCharleston

I didn’t get one either, so I went here http://www.all-laundry.com/#/get-coupons/ and registered and was able to print two $1/1 coupons! :)

        • dharvn

thanx for posting that Kassie! I also went to their Facebook page and downloaded 2 more cpns for the All Free & Clear! …..yay!

    • Has anyone tried buying 4 General Mills Cereals for the $0.10 Fuel Perks? I ask because I was wondering if you got the $4 Catalina mentioned elsewhere on this site.

      • Jjfdv

I did not get a catalina for cereals but I did receive a coupon for $2.00 off 5 general mills cereals.

      • Glumonkeymac23

I got the fuel perks , but not the 4$ catalina. I'm in SC.

    • Jennc426

I can't print the Lance cracker coupons. It keeps saying “Insufficient privaleges”, Any suggestions?? Also the Borden Sensation cheese coupon is out.

      • CouponNERD

THAT'S AWESOME! I was gonna try it too. Nice to know it worked. Was this in SC?

        • Denise W.

No, I went to both stores in Cleveland, TN.

Just want to say hi to a fellow Clevelander :)

        • Melcooke

I did it in SC…it worked!

          • CouponNERD

I did it this morning in Columbia… only got 10, but let the manager know I'd be back for more later after their weekend truck came in. He said I was a “smart shopper”. :)

    • Brooke

Anyone know if Nabisco is doing another savings booklet? Mine all expired 6/30

    • Lindsey G

For a coupon that may say -$1/2, does Bilo allow you to use it for to get -$.50/1?

      • Suemh

No, you have to buy 2 and get $1 off.

    • Maryccc1959

Choreboy Copper Scrubbers were free with the coupon on coupons.com and I was able to print 2 more bricks coupons here http://www.choreboyscrubbers.com/ I think the coupon gave me overage after it was doubled too.

    • Brigit

Does anyone know how much the Dawn is that is BOGOF?

      • Bbookie1953

I think its like 135-165 but if you go to freds on Sat
double only and the dawn was on sale last week for .80cents and toothpaste on sale for .90 cents you can slit the transaction up to use each cpn brought $15 worth for 3.00

        • Brigit

Thanks! Is there a limit of coupons per transaction?

          • Bbookie1953

up to 70cents double I do not think so but I know if you use the same coupon twice in an tranaction it will be for face value. You can go to freds website to check out all the deals. No problem.Just a thought, I donated a shopping bag full to the women shelters and give the rest out as housewarming gift or care packages for the holiday for my friends that have a large family one gift-for the entire family. Think of how much savings. LOL- sorry my texting got out of hand, but just thought I would give up a heads up. I preach couponing to my friends.

            • Brigit

Thank you very much for the info. I will definitely stop by there this weekend!

          • Kinahu_smile

Yes there is a limit! It will double not more then 10 same coupons

      • Dawn Bogo for 1.69.

      • Deb

      • Tj9206

I couldnt find it on Red plum but if you click the first “printable” it takes you to Bestlife.com and you can print the coupon there.

    • Jogarrett63

I just left Bi-Lo in Pickens. I picked up 4 jars of Peter Pan peanut butter and tried to use 4 coupons for .60/1 any one jar. The register would not accept the coupons and the cashier called for help. The CSR had to manually enter the coupons and they didn't double. I asked the CSR why they didn't double and she said “I don't know, sometimes they just don't”. I told her they should and that I've never had trouble using coupons before and then she said “it won't double because it's on sale”. I asked her to void the peanut butter and add the coupons back on. She made me feel like I was doing something wrong. No where on the coupon does it say do not double. Can anybody guess what went wrong?

      • xseannax

Sometimes a specific coupon is kicked back by the register–my Peter Pan coupons did the same thing (Hanahan, SC) and I've had it happen before. Manager came over to override, but it didn't automatically double. I asked her to, and after confirming that it wouldn't double to more than the cost, she doubled them manually.

You should never feel bad when you are following the rules. I would talk to the manager and make the manager clarify why your coupon wouldn't have doubled. I do agree with having them take the items off–I've done that before myself when I have felt that a CSR or cashier has treated me poorly when I am following the rules.

      • Kelly L

You have an idiot cashier, go back the next day and insist on them manually putting them in if they have to. Including seeing the manager

        • SCmom22

I think “idiot” is a bit harsh, don't you? It's not the cashier's fault that the COMPUTER didn't take the coupons, it's the COMPUTER. They are programmed to read the coupons, usually better than the cashier or shopper can, are you omniscient? because no one that I know is. The CSR doesn't always know why the computer does what it does and they shouldn't because they didn't program the thing. =/ Oh and FYI, being respectful and considerate of people around you, whoever they may be or whatever their job will get you further in life with much less misery.

          • Tracycook79

i agree so much with you. i have a great relationship with managers, and cashiers, at several stores in my town. i find that if you just take a few minutes to talk to them and treat them like they are people and not our servants it goes a long way. i have had all of the “issues” that come with couponing. having earned the respect of those helping me has made my trips that could have been nightmares get “fixed” without a glitch…….it all comes down to the golden rule. and when you do run across “that cashier ” (you know the ones i am talking about), just remember….we all have our “days” too. i just tell them i am sorry there was so much trouble and thank you for trying to help. it may not fix their attitude, but maybe it will stick in their mind and make someone else's day a little better.

p.s. those of you who argue over coupons……don't PLEASE! if there is an issue take it to the csm desk and quietly handle your business. the fussing, fighting, and arguing on our part does nothing to make these people like couponers any more than they already do. and most often this is what leads them to having an attitude towards other couponers……….

      • ashley

I'm not sure I was able to use 3 coupons. Peter pan was 2.70 , then B1G1 and the coupon doubled . I ended up paying 15 cents a piece for them. Sorry it didn't work out. That would have made me upset!

      • AngelaDH

This has happened to me before…I realized later I had forgotten to give them my bonus card. Crazy me. :(

      • lovedbyGod2

I had the same problem using my Colgate coupon at Bi-lo. Same answer. I left pretty annoyed… plan to call Corporate so I can fully understand the coupon policy. I ended up going ahead and buying the toothpaste cause there were people in line behind me, but how can I plan if they choose what to double and not on a whim? And when I say “they” I mean their computer.

      • Gscorbitt

The same thing happened to me. It would only take one of my 60 cents coupons. Then it did not like my Eggo coupons either. I had to be a pain at the register and everyone in line behind me was getting so annoyed.

      • Lmcates08

The same thing has happened to me once with popcorn. I bought 3 and had 3 coupons. two of them took and one didn't. Then I had to argue with her to manually enter it. Then it wouldn't double….They had no response other than “I am not sure”

        • sha martin

I have to say that I shop at Bi-lo in York SC and they are SO coupon friendly. If I have a coupon that does not work the manager will enter it manually and it if it does not double when she does that she always manually doubles it also. SUPER nice staff!!

    • BluStarMom

Okay, 5 weeks in to my new addiction…had an awesome Bi-Lo trip, total: $93.84, oop: $31.55, and racked up $.35 in fuel perks….wow!!!! Best thing is, I really didn't need a whole lot of groceries after weeks of stocking up, so I got to buy some name brand items and special things that I have been wanting to try and stocked up on a lot of cleaning items, it still just amazes me…A BIG THANK YOU TO SOUTHERNSAVERS.COM!!!!!

      • Freedomspradley1

I've been at it the same amount as you and I agree that it's an addiction!!

    • ashley

great week at Bi-Lo's! Rang up at 205$ and ended up paying 88$ . I was very excited!

    • Bethgainey1

I think the best deal I have had was getting a raincheck on the Cherry Dr. Peppers last week…when I went back this week, there was a .55 coupon on each bottle, so I got them all for .35!

    • TT

Anyone have different fuel perks than listed? My ad lists Crest & other different items in the buy 3 products category. Just wondering

      • lovedbyGod2

that was included at my store too – use the Crest Pro Health $2.00 coupon and get the mouth wash for .99 to qualify for the FuelPerks.

    • Teej

I'm new to Bi-Lo since I discovered, er because addicted to SoutherSavers. I used to think their prices were too high. I just finished a trip and was looking over my receipt when I was pleasantly surprised. Several prices listed above were HIGHER than the price I paid. Hudson Rd – Greer, SC. Here's how they rang up @ my store and the difference.
      Blue Diamond almonds 1.64 (-.03)
      Whitehouse apple juice 1.39 (-.10)
Peter Pan peanut butter 1.29 (-.06) got these at 9 CENTS EACH!!
      SH grape jelly .91 (-.11)
      New England coffee 2.79 (-.20)
Tidy Cat litter 1.19 (-.28) got these for 19 CENTS EACH!!
      Palermo pizzas 2.92 (-.29)
      Lindys Italian ice 1.64 (-.14)
What a great surprise to see that the prices were even lower than expected!!

      • DonnaTN

What Jenny posts is in her area. All areas have different prices so it's good to check the prices in your ad to make sure before heading out to shop. Sometimes it may be less or sometimes more.

    • Reensaves

When the catalina coupons print, is it considered a store coupon or a manufacturer coupon? I just got in an argument because I tried to stack a catalina Bi Lo with another manufacturer. The cashier insisted the catalina was a manufacture and wouldn't take my other one. I showed her where it said Bi Lo on there, but she wouldn't budge. Am I wrong?

      • momto2boys

        I think catalina's are manufacturer q's.

      • Denise W.

Most catalinas are manufacturer's coupons. The exception is when you earn a “$4.00 on your next order” or 10.00 or 2.00 or whatever the case may be. Then it becomes a generic coupon that can be used on anything unless otherwise specified. The random coupons that come out of the cat machine are manufacturer's, and usually say so across the top by the expiration date, and cannot be stacked.

      • Suemh

They are manufacturer's coupons. I have used the ones that I got at Bi-Lo at Publix, stacked with Publix store coupons.

    • A great Bi-Lo trip. $174.47 in groceries. Paid $87.05! Not to mention the fuel perks! I stocked up! Thanks for the coupon match-ups!

    • Teej

Question about my receipt – At the bottom of my Bi-Lo receipt it has

      Bonus Card Savings 81.10
      Coupon Savings 18.55
      Extra Cpn Savings 2.80
      TOTAL SAVINGS 97.45

My math says it s/b 102.45. Does anyone know why this wouldn't add up?

      • Suemh

The Bonuscard savings usually includes the bonus fuelperks that you earned multiplied by 20¢. For instance, I did not buy much. My actual Bonuscard savings, when I added them up from my receipt, were 11.00. I earned 10 extra Fuelperks and my Bonuscard savings says 13.00. That is 10¢ multiplied by 20 gallons of gas. HTH.

I did Bi-lo today and didn't really have fun, I tend to only have fun when I save more than I spent… but two of my .50 coupons didn't double, and she couldn't explain to me why except “the machine doubles what it does and doesn't what it doesn't.” The coupons didn't say 'do not double' so I was a bit annoyed, I can't plan my trip if I don't know what's up.

The fuel perks was a winner though – the Crest Pro Health being on the list as one of the three items you have to buy, being on sale for $2.99 and having that $2.00 coupon made it a real winner!

I went to my Bi-lo today in Anderson,SC and they had the big pack up Pull Ups and Goodnights on close out. They are normally $14.99 and they were marked to $7.99. They also had coupons right beside the Goodnights for a $1.00 off. It is nice to find these so cheap.

I appreciate a good cashier, because my son was a cashier at Bi-Lo for two years. I have heard his horror stories of coupon “queens” who abuse the policies and harass the cashiers. As some of you have said it is usually the computer and the poor cashiers can't override it, the manager has to. So please remember the cashiers are generally only doing their job, ringing you up. I know sometimes there are a few who will not take coupons or give us a hard time but it is generally not the kids, it is the older cashiers, and if you ask for the manager, hopefully they can remedy the situation. And remember, you don't know what the coupon “queen” before you did. Hopefully she or he perhaps was nice. I hope so, but not always. I know many of the cashiers at our store and not all couponers are nice, unfortunately. Generally you can take your receipt to customer service and get a refund if something did not ring up right or a coupon did not double unless it stated DND, but do this before you leave so they can check the coupon if need be. I appreciate all the work the ladies put into this site and all the info gathered by everyone! I love a good sale and if there is a good coupon woo hoo!!!

Just an FYI for any “All You” magaziners out there, a friend a work today asked me if I had noticed the Flyer attached to the coupons in the center of the August magazine, If you purchase $10 in certain items they will mail you $25 in coupons, If you shopped Bi-Lo this week I would pretty certain you purchased $10 worth of these products: Chef Boyardee, Peter Pan, SnackPack, Manwich, Hunt's Ketchup, Slim Jim, Kid Cuisine, Banquet, Orville Redenbachers, and Crunch N Munch, if you have the magazine don't throw out your receipt yet….check this first for more “Back to School Offer” coupons….

      I just got $175 worth of groceries for $45. Yeahhhh, I'm awesome!!!! I <3 Bi-Lo!

Anyone having a problem finding coupons you can double?

    • Steve

I have noticed that some coupons don't seem to double right at Bi-Lo lately. I had two identical coupons for .55. One doubled and one had only a .43 “bounus” amount. I did have a $1.00 Cat for Dawn which was only .79 since it was BOGO, but that one actually created a .21 overage. I just don't understand why this happens. I contacted Bi-Lo and am waiting for an answer. Last week it was a smilar thing, but they rang a rain check up wrong so I was still a few cents to the good. Is anyone else seeing these strange amounts?

If you pull the coupons from the machines on the shelf, sometimes Bi-Lo's coupons will say do not double on certain products and will ring up at face value. However, if you pull the same coupon from a Publix machine, the coupon will in fact double at Bi-Lo. Just a glitch that's never been fixed.

Can anyone tell me if bi-lo will price match?

      • Cindyrella

Mine wouldn't when I asked several weeks ago. If I remember correctly, there was about a dollar difference in the regular price of All Detergent at Food Lion.

I want to help clear up some confusion with coupons doubling or not doubling.
Smart Source machine coupons ( aka Blinkie Qs) are set-up for the indiviual stores they are in.
Bilo has a double up to $.60 policy so, the machines only give out Qs that won't double.
Food Lion and others who don't double have machines that give out ones that will.
To find out for sure, Just look at the bar code on the Qpon.
All blinkie Qs from Bilo will start with a #9. The same Qpons from food Lion will start with a #5.
So, rule of thumb for doubling.
      Always look for the #5.
And a #9 will never double.

FYI, my Bi-Lo let me use coupon on Red Plum for save $1 on Shady Brook Farms turkey bratwurst, sausage etc. on the BOGO Turkey Franks–which BTW are rather tasty for those who don't care for the beef variety! Makes them only 19 cents!
(sorry if this is a repeat post, didn't read all 128)

I didn't need really to shop at Bilo this week, but I ran in today to get the Peter Pan PB and the Chore Boy. I got 7 PB (we really go through it) and 1 chore boy scrubber and paid $.81. :)

The Blue Diamond almond printable coupon is no longer available.

Really wish there was someway to either access this from your smart phone…an application or a way to send you list to your phone…..

Just ran into Bi-Lo to pickup a couple of things. The store ended up owing me for the first time ever and they refused to pay up. I even said I would just buy one more so I didn't lose the money and they said it was to late they had already cleared it out. Anyone else have this happen to them? I spend tons of money there.

I meant to post this earlier but just now got around to it…
I went to my local Bi-lo on 08/04 and, among many other things, I was planning on buying the Crest Pro Health mouthwash 1 liter listed in the ad on sale for $3.49. I had the $2 coupon as well. When I checked the aisle, the 1 L sizes were not marked, but the .5 liter sizes were. I had my BF take the ad up to the customer service desk to ask. An employee came back, looked at the shelf/product and told us that the ad was a misprint and added a vague comment “yeah we got an email about it from corporate so only the smaller size will ring up”. She then left. No offer to at least sell me the item as advertised? I really wanted to go back up there and ask them to honor their ad. I debated it for quite awhile before I just decided to forget the mouthwash and get the rest of the things I needed. Turns out I ended up doing a much better deal at CVS with coupons and ECB, so it worked out in the end. Just a little irritated that the best their CS rep could offer me was “well the ad is wrong, so it won't ring up”.

I emailed Bi-lo about this incident and the store has offered to give me a free mouthwash since they did not handle the situation well. Never feel like you shouldn't complain if something just doesn't feel right! I appreciate that they are offering me the free item and I hope they train their folks for the next time this happens. Kudos for the website contact system, also. I received an email from a district director within just a few hours of my original email to the main website.
