1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them

will the pop tart blueberry muffin flavored coupon work on any pop tart??

    • heather

I noticed the Pop Tart deal as well. Did you not include this b/c it is not the best deal?

Thanks for ALL your hard work!

    • Carole

Here in Summerville the Betty Crocker Potato Pouches are 5/$4… that means $.80 each. There is a printable for $.40 and after the double that means FREE!!!

    • Stephenie

My circular is advertising Balmex 2 oz for $2.69. If you combine that price with the $2 off coupons I have been finding in the Baby Talk or American Baby magainzes (I can’t remember which one) and then send in for $1 rebate through Caregivers Marketplace you have a money making scenario.

    • Stephanie

I am new to the coupon game and had one question for you. If an item is $/2 and you have two of the same q can you use both q since you are purchasing 2 items? And, how does that work when that same deal ($/2) is under the B1G1 (i.e.ballpark franks are B1G1, but then there is also the q for $1/2) I am so confused with how many q you can use in that scenario! Thanks for helping a newbie get straightened out! :-)

    • Jennifer

the ballpark coupon link doesnt work! :[ But thinks for all the hard work you put in this site I love it!

    • Christy

after several very confusing and disappointing visits…

I think the competitor coupon policy at the hixson bi-lo superstore is finally nailed down. This is per one of the asst.managers, Toney (who saw me while I was shopping and made it a point to come and tell me what he had found out)…

they will accept 3 competitor coupons per visit. I think they still consider Catalina’s printed at other stores (even if they say they are manufacturer’s) to be competitor coupons.

Toney is very nice and is doing his best to keep us up-to-date on the policy. If he’s in when you’re shopping, tell him “hi” and “thanks.” I told him I would post this info on SouthernSavers and he asked if anyone had said anything about him…LOL. Encourage him and be positive – he doesn’t make the policies, but he does have a voice there.

      Thanks for all you do!
      Happy Couponing!

    • Erin

Thanks Jenny for all that you do!

    • FrugalMama001

I was interested to know if anyone in the Greenville/Simpsonville area has had problems using competitor coupons at Bi-Lo. I was told by a cashier at the Woodruff Rd BiLo that they DO accept competitor coupons. BUT when I was checking out the manager was bagging my groceries so I asked him if this was true and he said they did NOT accept competitor coupons at all. I know he is new and may have been unaware of this policy, but I am told it is up to the managers discretion. Are there any Bi-Los in the Greenville/Simsonville area that DO accept competitor coupons? I heard that the Super Bi-Lo on Fairview accepts all competitor coupons (even Babies R Us!).

    • Brandi
    • Freedom

I am looking thru my circular now and it looks like there are way more deals than is posted on here. allot of frozen deserts B2G1. Chex mix B1G1 2.50 and there are multiple coupons out for this right now. Hmm. Jenny -are you missing some of the circular? Thanks

    • Tracey

BiLo in Spartanburg on Reidville Road accepts competitor coupons.

    • Denise

The link for the Ball Park Franks Q doesn’t seem to work. Or is it just me.

    • Leigh Anne

You can find a coupon for the ball park franks on redplum.com

    • Andrea

The Bilo on fairview in simpsonville is great on coupons! I love to go there they never give me any grief. Now the Publix on fairview that is another story. If anyone knows a publix in the area that is kinder about accepting coupns please let me know. I feel like I have to fight to get all of my coupons used there and I try very hard to do them right!

    • Re: FrugalMama001 #12
You are correct, the Bilo on Fairview Rd in Simpsonville takes just about anybody’s coupons as competitors. I have not personally used Babies R Us, but I have used Food Lion and Target with no problem. That is a HUGE thing to me considering all the Publix stores around here are no longer taking either one of those. To Bilo I go!!! If you go to that store, look for Heather, she is a a friend of mine and is VERY coupon friendly!!!

    • Sue

The Bi-Lo on Garners Ferry in Columbia has $1 off peel off coupons on each bag or Stacey’s Pita chicps. I was able to use my coupons I already had for it that expired today and keep the ones on the bag for later.

    • Vicki :)

I have never been able to use competitor coupons at Bi-Lo. I go to the ones in Greer (Wade Hampton, Hudson Corner) and Five Forks (Woodruff Rd.). Simpsonville, unfortunately, is too far for me to drive.
As far as Publix goes, I go to the one in Five Forks (Woodruff/Scuffletown Rd.) and at the Parkway. Although neither will take FL or Target qs anymore, they are still pretty coupon friendly.

    • Stefanie

At Target this week, buy 2 poptarts and get a gallon of milk FREE.

    • B1g1 on chex mix and bugles (labor day savings) at our store!

    • amanda

Simpsonville BILO on Hwy 14 accepted my Food Lion coupons yesterday…..Didn’t seem like they did it all the time as the cashier looked a little puzzled, but it’s worth a try.

    • The Bi-Lo on Hwy 14 in Simpsonville accepts competitor coupons.

    • Suzie

Where do u find the hefty plates coupon?

    • Jen

I used the $0.55 coupon for Honey Nut Cheerios from Coupons.com on the single serve at Bi-lo (priced at $1) and got them for free. The coupon doesn’t have any size restrictions. Yay :)

    • Holly

There is a .50 Lawry’s seasoning salt coupon in the RP 8/30. This makes it FREE!

I live 3 minutes from Bi-Lo (Moncks Corner, SC) and love that they double coupons up to .60. However, they will not accept competitor coupons and seem to be pretty strict on their coupon policies. They also only double up to 10 coupons per visit. I have also noticed that they run out of their deals really quickly and it takes them a while to get re-stocked, which can be a problem when you are dealing with expiring coupons.

The nearest Publix is 20 minutes away (Goose Creek, SC) but it is worth the drive. They take any coupons that I have ever given them and even gave me FREE pudding one day because the price came up wrong. I actually just made a trip out there today after work and it was packed. It seems that they overstock what they have on sale so if it is out on the shelf, it usually somewhere else in the store.

It’s funny how some Bi-Lo’s are better than Publix regarding coupons and vice-versa.

    • FrugalMama001

@ Rita- The Publix in Mauldin takes Target and Food Lion coupons with no hesitation. I also frequent the Publix on Woodruff Rd (across from Aldi) and they accept them with no problem. Thanks you guys for the tips on the Bi-lo in Simpsonville! Its good to know that I can go to another Bi-lo close to me and use my competitor coupons.
      Much appreciation!

    • Krystal

Our BiLO has had magic erasers bogo as well, and we have $1 off coupons from the paper or .75 off from the right at home mailer, making them 9cents per 2 pack or 34 cents per 2 pack depending on coupon. ALSO The Wonder white bread is on sale, white wheat, for $1.89, use the coupon for 55 cent off one from coupons.com this week to make it 79 cents.

    • Tracy

I bought the B1G1 Klondike bars even though I didn’t have a coupon, because we love ice cream and this was still a deal. Well, I noticed the box said to go to this website to print a coupon because they have temporarily changed the look. Go to http://www.whatsupwiththebox.com and print a $1 off coupon. That will make them .99 and I was able to print 2 coupons.

    • Tracy

There is also a printable for John Morrell off the bone sandwich meat for B1G1 and it was 2/$5 at my Bi-Lo in Chester. Go to http://www.johnmorrell.com and register. I was able to print it twice as well.

    • Shanna

Cathy#4 I used the pop tart q on another type a couple of weeks ago.

    • At the Bi-Lo on 58 in Chattanooga, I found the Dixie Plates at BOGO with a coupon on them for free Dixie napkins. The Dixie napkins were BOGO. So, I got 2 packs of plates, used the .50 and .35 coupons and the two packs of napkins were FREE!!!! The coupon scanned for $3.50! Anyway…Great deal! My total bill tonight was $144 and change. I saved over $65 in BOGO and coupon deals. So, OOP was $79 before tax!!!! Not too shabby. Oh, and I got 2 New York strips and 2 roast. And, Fuze was still on sale for .88! I bought 10!

Oh, and I can’t find the bounce dryer bar at CVS. They had it at Bi-Lo for the same price, $3.99. I used my $2.50 off coupon I received through VocalPoint. So, that was a good deal. According to the CVS on Lee Hwy, they said, they will get more in tomorrow. I want some of the “free” glade items as well…we’ll see if they get those too!

Can you tell I’m excited! Thank you, Jenny and to all who posted replies!

    • Shannon

The Poptarts BM coupon will work on any poptarts.

    • Michelle

I saw that Bilo in their monthly discount book has the Mr. Clean Magic erasers on sale b1g1 saving 2.07, with two $1 coupons you would pay $0.07 for two boxes. I am headed there at luch to try it. Thank you for all the time you put into this and for all who post new finds.

    • Jennifer

To FrugalMama…I have had problems using competitor coupons at the Bi-Lo on East North Street in Greenville. They told me they DO NOT accept competitor coupons and then the manager told me he never even heard of Whole Foods Market when I showed him a coupon from there.

    • Ann

Wondering if anyone else is having problems with coupons doubling at the Bi-Lo in Lexington, SC. I had a couple that did not double on Sunday, and then two that did not double today. I also know someone that had problems with the same thing last week. I give them the coupons first and then the store card, so that is not the problem, and the coupons did not say not to double. I must also mention so far they have been more than willing to fix the problem and have been very nice about, just a little inconvienent.

    • JEB

This happened to me today too at the same store. But they fixed it and were very nice at Customer Service.

    • Beth

I didn’t know where to put this . I had to sign up for my new bilo card today and it had a name on the scanner that I didn’t recognize. It had my same address but a name I didn’t recognize . What you think is going on about that? The man that did it said she wouldn’t be using it now. He acted like it was nothing to worry about.

    • Beth

Jenny I would like to thanks for all your hard work. Love the site

    • Amanda K

    • Rena

Beth comment # 40 either talk to the manager they should and could straighten this out for you in the store or maybe go to bi-lo online register your new account and update the correct name. I am sure that BI-lo values you as a customer and wants the information on your card to all be correct. Hope this helps

    • Jay

Jennifer #37 East North St. and Haywood is one of the WORST Bi-lo stores to shop at in that area. The store manager is quite rude, and coupons do not double when they say do not doulbe, etc. The one on Hudson Rd and Wade Hampton seem to be pretty good. I am not sure if the take Comp. coupons because I never have tried.

    • .Jennifer

Ann- the coupons doubling are a perk for having a bonus card. Without the bonus card coupons don’t double. Once you scan your card then the doubles will come off.

    • Maranda

I had the worst experience yesterday at Bi-lo on Ocoee Crossing in Cleveland, TN. The cashier would not double any of my coupons because they said do not double. I thought that the manufacturer is reimbursing these stores that double just face value and these stores are just matching the coupon to get business? what does it matter what the coupon says. UGH Anyways I have went to that location everytime and never had a problem. I always go through the self check outs. They have always had a sign that says cashier must scan coupons, but usually when I go the cashier tells me just to go ahead and scan them cause they are always busy. Well this time the cashier tells me she has to scan them there and I said Ok and then handed them to her But when I saw the total was wrong and asked her about the doubled coupons she said they wont double if it says No double.

I was mad but didnt know really what to say. She said their store manager has been making them do that for at least 4 months now. I know if I scan the coupons the double comes off. she must be overriding or something.

      So I bought 12 yogurts @ $6 – 4x(.60coupons)
      4 Chex Mix @ $5 – 4x(.50 Coupons)
      2 Grands biscuits – @ $2.50 – 1x(.50/2 Coupon)
      and 2 Klondike Ice Creams @ $4 -2x (1.00 Coupons)

My Total with tax was like $11.40 To me that just doesn’t seem very good considering I was going by the deals Jenny Listed. I should have walked out OOP $6.13

Please does anyone have any advice for next time. I don’t understand what the point of them doubling coupons is when almost All of mine say do not double. Are they wrong?

    • Samantha

I don’t think they are wrong. If you have been getting coupons doubled when they say “DO NOT DOUBLE” than take that as a blessing. If the coupon says that I don’t expect them to double but am pleasantly pleased when they do.

    • Tiffany

per phone call to bilo #704 on Verdae Blvd Greenville..

Not all BI-LOs are taking competitor’s coupons, but some are. #704 does. They said they take the Food Lion printables, too.

    • Tiffany

      to Maranda:

I have never gotten double coupon off a coupon that says “do not double.” If others have, please let me know. These are usually coded differently and have nothing to do with over riding a coupon. They ring up that way has been my experience.

    • Maranda

Until yesterday I have never had one that wouldn’t double at Bi-lo. I always scanned them myself though. I just thought the Do not Double was on all coupons because the manufacturer is only reimbursing face value. I mean out of the hundred of coupons that i have printed and clipped here i have maybe 10 that don’t say anything about doubling. I just don’t get it. I guess they are just cracking down or something, but at this rate its not worth all the time i have spent coupon clipping and searching and printer ink if none of mine are going to double, it sucks but Im glad that its working for some of you.

Maranda, I shop at Bi-lo at ocoee crossing all the time and they HAVE been doubling all coupons 60 cents or less even if they say do not double HOWEVER just recently( NOT 4 MONTHS ago) BI-lo has said that if a coupon says do not double then they are (NO LONGER) doubling. WE have been so used to getting all of our coupons doubled all this time and now the rules have changed.I know it’s a bummer now we will have to be even better shoppers.

Thanks. I knew I wasn’t just crazy, Lol. I used to love going to Bi-lo but most of the stuff I buy needs to be doubled. It is a bummer. I guess now all I can do is pray that Publix will remain as easy as they have been for me.

I am a cashier at bi-lo in Chattanooga, tn. We double any manufacture coupon under $0.60 even if it says do not double. The system does it automatically. Well atleast where I work anyways lol. .But we unfortunately do NOT accept competitor coupons.

I spent 180.00 Wednesday and after coupons and the b1g1’s, I only spent $45.00 :]

    • To CW:

Which store do you work at in Chattanooga? I live in that area and would LOVE to shop there!!!

CW I am going to triple check with our store but the last time I went there and I’m there at least 2 times a week the front end manager came over and told me that they were no longer doubling the coupons that said do not double. I am hoping that what you are saying is true in our store. The cashier that waited on me last was new and she said they will not double them and I just assumed that since she was new that she was freshly trained and knew the coupon policy but I could be wrong maybe she didn’t know the policy at all, but then again the front end manager made it a point to come over and tell her that they are no longer doubling the do not double coupons. I will make a phone call to the manager today.
