Bloom Triples 5/15-5/17

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

For anyone lucky enough to live near a Bloom they are tripling coupons starting Friday 5/15 through Sunday. Get your coupons ready!!  I am working on getting out of town for workshops in Charleston so this is a modified list from the last Harris Teeter Sale. Most of the free items will also be free at this store so it makes for a pretty good list.

**To find more deals go here, set the value box at .75 cents and the source as insert and it will show you all the coupons that are out for that value.**

If you see any other deals share them and I’ll update the list.

Bloom Policies:

1.  They will triple 20 coupons per transaction per day (many say that you can do multiple per day)
2.  Triple manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of .99
3.  If you do self checkout you can only do 2 of the same coupon per transaction
4.  You have to use your Breeze card for the triples to work

**The last Triples days they were no longer tripling or accepting internet printables, I don’t know if that is a continuing policy or not. I have not included any printables for this list**

    • Melody

Thank you Jenny, I love this new topic that you have added, it helps out every week. Love the site!!!!

    • Kathy Scott

Thanks I plan to go to Bloom tomorrow this will help get my coupons together.

    • Tina

Can someone tell me if they’ll take a coupon that says it’s “not subject to doubling”? For instance the Huggies wipes for .50/1 and .75/1 all say that. Will they triple those?

    • Unless the CASHIER overides if the first number is a 5 it will triple, but I would price shop the huggies elsewhere even when not trippling I have found them less elsewhere..But have fun.

    • Beth

do they give overage at bloom?

    • Mina

Here’s a link to another matchup list. There aren’t any Bloom’s where I am, but it may be worth a drive for some shoppers. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showpost.php?p=19554277&postcount=268

Jenny, I’d just email you the link, but I have issues with trying to send emails unless there is an address that I can copy and paste into my message. Email links just don’t work for me.

    • Teri

Last time I went to Bloom, the cash register automatically adjusted the discount to the cost of the item, so no Bloom does not give overages – at least mine didn’t.

    • Jenn

Mine gave overages, but would not give money back at the end. I know that many of the stores are going to not giving overages and just giving it for free. Which is always good :)

    • My Bloom had no problem with the printed coupons last time. And, also on those that said “DO NOT DOUBLE”, they tripled anyway.

    • My Bloom also had no problems with printed Q’s last time, and they did triple the ones that stated not to. I am REALLY hoping that stays the case this week! I have a doctor appt.at 8:30, so I will be in that checkout line at 7am sharp. :)

    • Internet printables mine will not take are SMART SOURCE. They will take the “scissors” on the edge ones, but no SMART Source you also know it is smart source if it has a PIN number.

    • Rebecca

Thank You,This helps so much when i shop

    • The Fort Mill,SC location gives overage..no cash back. I know because I would have had a higher balance when I purchased $30+ and paid 64cents…so yeah overage is good..no negative, but keep your eye out for something with a low cost so you break even and don’t have to come out with too much money…you know no more than .99cents!!! LOL

    • Ndncook

How often does Bloom triple coupons? Do they have good sale prices at other times? I am asking because we will be moving to VA from GA in late summer/early fall and one of the things I knew I would miss is my Publix. I saw a Bloom in one of the areas we were looking and it sounds like Bloom may be a good replacement for Publix. Thanks for any info!

    • Andrea

IMO Bloom is great on triple coupons but they do not double and their prices can be a little higher. I also do not know if they have quite as many sales. I would not concider it as a replacement but a good suppliment.

    • Jenn

Definately not a replacement, but a great supplement!! When they do have sales, the prices are usually good. They have been tripling about once a month.

    • Jenn

3 Frosting $1.29 each, with $.50 coupon (FREE)
      6 Dannon Yogurt $3.00/6 with $.60 couon ($.20/each)
2 Breyers Yo Crunch 4pks (Not on sale) $2.79/1 with $.75 coupon ($.54/each)
2 Reach Dental Floss $1.49/1 with $.50 coupon (FREE)

Unfortunately, my blooms was out of pretty much anything I had a .75 coupon for. I did not know they would still double the ones that said do not double or triple, or I would have tried. Do they take Food Lion coupons if any are ever available?

    • Does anyone in Simpsonville, SC (Georgia Road) area know if our Blooms will take internet coupons… I thought last time they did!!!

    • The Simpsonville, SC (Georgia Road) does take internet coupons. They had a new rule this morning about only checking out 2 groups of 20 items before going to the end of the line. I think that is only nice to everyone so I didn’t mind and you can still have all the rest of the groceries in your cart just can’t check them all out at the same time.

    • Jessica

Thanks for all that you do to help all of us save money! I was at Bloom this morning bright and early… My total before coupons was $101.82. I paid $9.04 out of pocket. I took advantage of the 5/$12 Pepsi deal and also bought grapes for $.99/lb, so I expected my bill to be at least $15. I was shocked that I got all those groceries and personal care items for less than I was willing to pay for the Pepsi alone! Yeah overage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Carrie

Today was only the second time I’ve tried going to a Bloom and I was disappointed both times. It seems that if you’re not there right when they open on the first day of the triple coupons, you’re just out of luck! I had a long list of items on my list and I only found 3! There were big open gaping holes on the shelves where the sale items were supposed to be. The same thing happened the first time I was there. Both times I went on the first day of the triple coupons, but not first thing in the morning when it opened. It seems to me that the store should make sure and have a good stock of the items that they are advertising. It seems like Bloom just wants to get you in the door so you’ll buy stuff that isn’t on sale!

    • Carrie-
You may want to call your local BLOOM and see when the truck comes in…I went today only for a few things and saw the same thing in Fort Mill, SC, but I have grown to expect it and get excited, but not REAL excited. Everything I needed was there because I only was picking up McCormick Spices and the Keebler cookies. So sorry for your DRAMA hit the BILO or plan next time to be there when they open even if it is freezing cold, you have two sets of twins under the age 2, only one double stroller, and a broke foot…COUPONERS UNITE and konw when it has become an addiction…It has become one for me and if you ever do the above scenario you know you are additced. Hope it works out better next time go to BILO for some good deals to make you feel better.

you simpsonville people may want to try mauldin. they accept internet coupons (as of this morning). also the cashiers are super nice, mine even circled what i saved and said “way to go!”. they let me go through the line and the second time through they opened a new line for me so i wouldn’t have to wait!

    • April K

my first order was $54 and rang up -4.75! i added a few of those super cute reusable bags so it would even out.
in all, got well over $150 for $9.

i just love the mauldin bloom!

    • I went this morning and was pleasantly surprised by the difference of going to the W. Georgia sImpsonville store compared to my old store on Pleasantburg. The cashiers were so friendly in Simpsonville and everybody just stood patiently and waited their turn. I liked that internet coupons were accepted and also ones that say $60 off 2. I had not been able to use those at my other store. It was great and I will definitely go back tonight or tomorrow eventhough I waited in line 45 minutes. After my two transactions of 20 coupons each I only spent $7.50 and that was because I bought the Minute Maid juice for $0.79 that I didn’t have coupons for.

      Yeah Simpsonville!

    • april k

redid my math, was $130 for 5.32!

    • April K-

      Good Job…you go girl.

    • Nicole

I had catalina for .75 off 3 hot pockets. They don’t say anything about not doubling, so… That came out to 1.25 each.

I had a coupon for .75 off Mr. Clean Magic Eraser ($2.39 each) plus one for b1g1 free. So it came out to .07 each.

I also had a coupon for .75 off Mr. Clean Multi Surface cleaner (2.99) and one for b1g1 free spray Multi Surface. So that came out to .37 each.

If anyone has those .55 Egglands Best coupons, then make SURE you use them! Go over to where the organic dairy case is, and there are Eggland’s Best brown, cage free, free range eggs for $2.79. That’s $1.14 for a dozen. Not bad for organic!!

They have Colgate whiting tooth paste on sale for 2.19. Free after .75 coupon!

Edwards pie slices are $2.99 each. Use the .75/1 coupons and get them for .74

Skintimate was $2.19. Free after coupon.

I got one Ortega taco seasoning (.91) and one Ortega chopped chiles (1.39) for .05 after the .75 coupon tripled.

    • Nicole

      I went back today.
I had 2 coupons for Domino sugar .65/2. The 2 lb boxes of sugar were $1.81 each. After triple coupons, they came out to .83 each.

Planters big nut bars are 2.82/box. After .75 coupon, they’re .57.

Welches light grape juice is 2.99/bottle. after .75 coupon it’s .74.

Banquet Homestyle Bakes are $3.50/ea. After .75 coupon it’s $1.25.

Dole sliced peaches in the plastic jar is $2.84. After .75 coupon it’s .59.

Breyer’s Disney yogurt is 2.50 before .75 coupon. .25 afterwards.

Red Baron Deep Dish pizzas are 3.33 before .75 coupon. After is 1.08.

**SUPERPREZEL MONEY MAKER** before coupon $2.00. After .75 coupon, you MAKE .25!!!!

Yakisoba Noodles before coupon $1.15. After .35 coupon, it’s .10.

**LAVASOAP MONEY MAKER** before coupon $1.50. After .55 coupon, you MAKE .15!!!

**FRENCH’S FRIED ONIONS MONEY MAKER** before coupon $2.13. After .75 coupon, you make .12!!!

Also, if you have Kraft salad dressing coupons for 1.50/1, they’re only .16 each after coupon!!!

    • I was one of the “crazy” people who was in line at 5:57 am waiting for the Bloom in Simpsonville to open. I must say, it was a very PLEASANT experience! I had so much fun talking to people while in line and comparing notes and ideas! I was dissappointed to find out that you do NOT get money back if you are due an overage. I added $12.78 worth of items to my order (that I did not have coupons for) so that my total would be zero rather than them owing me money. MUCH to my dismay, my total was $12.72! I should have left well enough alone and got my order for zero. Oh well, lesson learned. At the Simpsonville store they took all my printed coupons. My only regret is that I paid full price for a gallon of milk ONLY because I thought it would be free after my overage.

    • Aisha V

I live right by the Bloom on Holland Rd and was excited to know that the one on Georiga Rd did Accept coupons!! I was even more excited that the library in Simpsonville’s computers were set up for the coupon printers!!!! Yes I know, I need to get a printer ASAP, lol!!

My mom and I took advantage of the frosting’s they had and suprisingly the one on Holland Rd even had the cake mix w/ coupons on them!! WTG!!! FINALLY THEY COME THROUGH!!

Looking at Sundays inserts, there should be more free items to be had!! I’m going to get a paper early and try to get their while everyone is in church! Does anyone know when the trucks normally come in?

    • Aisha V

I also forgot to say I think its Awesome that starting next Wed Bloom will allow you to swipe your card and print out coupons based on past purchases!!!

    • Annemarie

So today was my first day at bloom before coupons my total was $90 and change I got it down to $35 I am soooo excited. I am new to couponing and this site is in the top of my history because I use it sooo much! Thanks for all you do to help us save!

    • Donna
