Cellfire loaded a new set of eCoupons Tuesday.  If you already saved or used some of these , then you get to use them again!

eCoupons are electronic coupons that you load directly to your Kroger Shoppers card and when you buy the particular product the discount comes off at the register without you having to clip a coupon or even say anything to the cashier.

The coupon will come off one item, so if you buy 6 you are only getting the discount once.  eCoupons do not double.

can you use a cellfire coupon and a clipped coupon together?

      • Chelsea

I have done so before, Jenny has posted under some Kroger weekly ads about this. Seems to be okay!

        • What state are you in? Just asking because I'm hoping I might be able to get away with it where I am!

      • sbdugger

Yes. It works beautifully! For example, yesterday I had a $2.00/1 paper q for ALL and the Kroger e-coupon for $1.50 off so I got it free. No problems whatsoever.

    • dsease

I have duplicate ecoupons saved on my Kroger card. If I buy more than one of an item, will another coupon be used? For example, there are two frosting coupons in my account. If I purchase two frostings, will both coupons be used or just one?

      • teachingthem

If you have 2 loaded, then you can use 2. What she's saying above is 1 ecoupon per item. Love those frosting e-coupons combined with a .50mfq- what is that, about .15 for frosting?!

    • cindyd1

The Cellfire e coupons do they go on the Publix or Winn Dixie Cards>?

    • I have heard that very soon you won't be able to stack eCoupons with paper coupons. That the systems will reject you trying to do that. Has anyone else heard, or know for sure?

      • Barb

Jenny made a post concerning stacking them and why she believes they will not make a consumer choose. For one reason, we have no way of knowing when we load them onto the cards whether we will subsequently find a better paper coupon.

Also, these programs are so new that the maker does not want to force the consumer's hand of making a choice because inevitably the paper coupon will win, since it can be doubled.

I agree with her on all these points. Kroger is the only store doing this, and customers would quickly lose interest in these coupons if they are restricted.

Where did you hear this information?

        • Barb, I read it on another blog. That blogger had just attended some kind of blogger's Kroger meeting, and she was told that the machines would soon start catching the stacking, and it would no longer be allowed.

If that is indeed the case, what's the point of using eCoupons if you can't stack them, and they don't double?

        • Barb,

Don't know if I'm allowed to post the link to the blogger I speak of, but I'll try:

          • You are both right. The new Kroger eCoupons loaded from their site do not allow stacking any longer but the shortcuts and Cellfire coupons do still allow stacking. The P&G coupons will be run on the same platform as the new Kroger coupons. If you use a paper coupon it will stop the eCoupon from working.

            • So, we will still be able to stack the Cellfire and Shortcuts? Wahoo! :) Thanks for clarifying, Jenny.

      • Paula

I had problems this week at my local Kroger. They gave me warning they are not supposed to take paper coupons if their is a loaded coupon. I am thinking for now this is a manager discretion thing and I will try another Kroger a little further away for the big events.

My issue was that I then could not take the item off my order as the coupons had already gone through and then I find out! My paper coupon was better than the ecoupon. The checker allowed it this time but said they will not allow it any more.

This is not going to be good as the ecoupons do not double, they automatically come off and I do not have a choice if I want to use them or not.

    • Wendy

Will stores like Publix accept coupons printed in black and white instead of color?

Is anyone having problems with their Kroger ecoupons working. I have tried to use three of them and none of them have worked. Kroger gave me one on another order, but I haven't heard a reply about the last two. Just curious if anyone else is having this problem.

      • jj

Mine never work, I don't keep up with them anymore since I seem to do better at Publix unless it's one of the mega sales at Kroger. I've just chalked them up to being not worth it, my time is worth money too and spending lots of it on the phone or at customer service is not my priority right now.

        • Barb

I just went to Kroger the other day and all my shortcut and cellfire came off and were labeled as to which service provided them.

I also had a coupon from the Kroger website on another recent trip that came off.

I hope I don't encounter problems with them. I account for them in the price I am willing to pay for the item.

      • SB

My cellfire and my shortcuts work with no problems. It is just the ecoupons from Kroger's site that aren't seeming to work. Oh well!

      • Johanna

I wrote to them on the website, Shortcuts immediately gave me a credit of the coupons that did not go through, and I am still waiting to hear from Kroger about why the ones I pulled from there site did not work. I guess its a chance you take.

I wish there was a Krogers in Charlotte…….

      • Barb

        Kroger rocks!

They have really saved me in this economy and we have lots of grocery options here.

        • Barb

In addition, I can always count on them to at least make a valiant attempt to stay stocked during sales.

During a recent event, Kraft shredded cheese and blocks was .99. The cheese man was there with box after box to restock but really he just couldn't keep up with the people yanking it off the shelf.

I was in there in the evening again (we had a snowstorm coming) and he was STILL trying to get the display to stay adequately stocked.

      • wvarner

I am in Charlotte. I wish there were a Kroger and a Publix here. What grocery store do you prefer?

    • amyfurlong

is Kroger the only store that you can load coupons through cellfire?

    • Anonymous

Not sure if old coupons are still available but there was $4 off Fur Fighter starter and $1 off refills that can be used with these coupons at Kroger. Starter is $5.99 and refills are $3.99, buy both for free or just starter and make $2 http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure/petcare/coupons/PetNewsletterCoupon.pdf

I cant get my cellfire account to work. When I log in it shows my Kroger card number off to the side but when I try to load new coupons it says that it cant find my account. Has anyone else ever had this problem or does anyone have any suggetions of what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

how do i load the cellfire coupons to my card?

    • Loretta

what do I have to do to load my cellfire coupons to my card?

    • Nathalie1964

I just got back from Kroger. None of my ecoupons were taken off my order. I turned in my paper coupons but none of my shortcuts, cellfire, nor Kroger ecoupons came off. Can someone clarify which ones I can use? I thought we could stack them and use both paper and ecoupons. Thanks!

      • I shopped about 2 hours ago and used 4 eCoupons (3 CF, 1SC). If you have them loaded to your valid Kroger card they should work. If you load and walk right out the door you might have a problem.

Lovin' my 29c Nut Clusters right now!!

I have sent in contact us “complaints” to both of them and had them added to my account (so the amount of the missing ecoupon was taken off on the next use of my card).

    • Stephanie

How often do they load new Cellfire coupons to their Website. I used most of my ecoupons last week and wonder if they load new one each week or do I have to wait to till next month? I am new to the whole ecoupons. I really enjoyed using them for the first time and I saved over $100 at krogers last week.

    • Joesters

I was wondering the same as Stepanie, how often does cell fire reload on the website? weekly? thnx

    • Joesters

and i too have had an experience where the ecoupons did not come off. Ever since then i go to krogers self check out and look at the end when hit pay now to see first. Because I once had a whole basket full of strictly ecoupon items and it was bunk that day but i paid anyway and just used paper coupons. NEVER AGAAIIIN THO :p
