I got $31.68 f.or a XBOX 360 and m.y mom got a 17 inch Dell laptop for $95.84 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $53.79 to get. Here is the website we are using to get all this stuff GrabNow.com

    • Frazier_jaylin

Does commissary double coupons? Also do they except competitor coupons? If so can you stack manu. and competitor?

      • Bsw21704

Never mind….read their coupon policy…not very good!!! ):

        • Clarissa

You have to remember that the commissary doesn't profit at all from what they sell.  They sell at the price that they buy at, so they can't double coupons or accept competitor coupons because they will end up losing a ton of money with no way to recoup those losses.

While some stores may offer better deals on particular items for a particular sale, I've found that the commissary is the best place to buy stuff when you can't find it on sale at any other store.  Their regularly priced item is usually cheaper than a regularly priced item at a typical grocery store.

The other thing that's great about the commissary is that they are required to redeem coupons for the FULL amount even if it's more than the actual cost of the item.  This goes back to them not profiting from sales.  I don't know about the stores that are in your particular area, but not one in my area will give overage.  So that's a big plus for me :-)

You will have a hard time getting a better deal than the Commissary.  You already save approx. 30% by just shopping there and with coupons I average another 35% off.  Even with the goofy deals at Walgreens and CVS' the Commissary will come out on top every time!

in the New Orleans JRB there is also 75c/1 off nabisco cookies or crackers coupons in there too (not in all, commissarys but in most)..so i was getting the grahm crackers for $1.20 a box and the cheese nips are on sale for $1 so was getting them for 25c..then the rainbow cookies are on sale for $1.50…if you use the $1/2 coupons its only $1 when you buy 2 and you can stack it with the tearpad copon for $1 off milk when you buy 2 packets of keebler cookies making a Gallon of milk $2.39(it may have been a few cents less)..there is also a $3.50/2 coupon attached to the front of the tide laundry detergent and they are $6 each but i dont know if everybody is sighned up for the military p&g home mailers but there is also a coupon you can stack with it for a free downy fabric softner when you buy a tide(i had 2 of tho's coupons) so 2 tide = $12 -$3.50/2 coupon makes it $8.50 for 2 tide and 2 downy so thats a pretty good deal( i usually hate to buy tide because i always get wisk, and ALL for under $2 a bottle but i do always like to keep a bottle of tide handy for washing my kids clothes in so i was happy about that deal)..the oscar mayer hot dogs are $1.25 use the $1/2 coupon makes it 75c each (this is a really old deal but there is a tearpad coupon you can stack with it for 50cents off fresh corn wyb 2 hotdogs)..there is also a tear pad for $1 off chiquita snacks..the snacks are only 88c a packet so its 11c moneymaker..then there is the Reach floss coupon on coupons (dot) com and i think reach is (dont qoute me on it) but i think its either 78cents or 89cents..either way its a small money maker..there is a $1/2 eggo waffles tearpad making them $1.20 a box wyb 2 ..i have so many other deals i could post but ive gotta get back to my 4 babies lol…happy shoppin :-)

Jenny, if you see this, can you explain the commissary sales cycle to me? The person who taught the workshop I attended didn't know how the commissary works and after a couple of weeks, I can't figure it out. The lady sitting at the table handing out almost expired coupon booklets said they hand out the new ones on the last Saturday of the month, but that's all I have. Are the sales monthly only? Thanks for any help!

      • Janell

I am still trying to figure it out myself, but I think the sales change twice a month. If you go to commissaries.com and click to see whats on sale, after you log-in, it will show you how long that particular sale is going.

I went to the Commissary the other day and took the $2 off any pork rib product Q with me (14 to be exact). I planned on buying the 10# box of riblets which I usually buy for $10-$12. There are so many in the box that $10-$12 is an awesome deal so I was super excited that I was going to get them for $8. To my surprise, they were on Manager's Special for $5.90/ 10# box! After the $2 off Q, they were only $3.90 each! We bought 14 boxes. That's 140lbs of riblets for $0.39/lb! WOW! What a rush!
