We may have set a Southern Savers record today – over 30 different newspaper variations were sent in this week.  Great work guys!

Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 1/23.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. You see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your area and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. A way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A Change in Value or a new coupon not in the preview.

As folks send me the lists I will update

    • TRACI

I live in south Alabama and I find that I get more coupons from the Mobile newspaper rather than Montgomery. Could you please include Mobile in your future listings? Thanks!

      • SEM

Traci, Jenny relies on volunteers to email in their coupon variations. If your newspaper isn't listed it is because there isn't someone covering your paper.

        • Cindy

How can I offer to cover my paper?

          • I'd also be willing to cover my paper (Asheville Citizen-Times). Is there somewhere we can find out how to do that?

          • Beth J

I would also like to offer to do the Louisville Courier Journal! :)

    • Cami White

What do the colors mean? Some coupons are listed in blue ink, some in black ink, and some in red. Do different colors mean different things (like, this color for it being in the paper, another for it not being in the paper, and the other for it being in this paper and not on the original list)?

      • SEM

Please read above in the bottom of the post.
Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A Change in Value or a new coupon not in the preview.

    • LD

I would like to say Thank you, to Debbie also, for the Florida Times listings . Long time since I havent seen these listed .

    • Matcyl

The Atlanta Journal is not highlighted in blue does that mean there not going to be coupons?

      • Couponjunkie

Carina posted last week that she wouldn't be in town and would not be able to post AJC this week.

    • guest

Thanks. Mandy for posting. The Athens Banner. Herald

    • Scheafferr

Noticed there is not a link to the Atlanta Journal here.

    • Susanne

Thanks to everyone for doing the variations. I have noticed though that these variations are not included in the coupon database. This year I started doing coupons the way Jenny suggested with the 13 slot file folder and using the coupon database. However, I am finding the variations are not listed and I am missing out on some good coupons to use on sale items since I am not cutting out the coupons and putting them in a spot I can see. Does anyone have any suggestions on how they handle this? thanks much

      • Lisa B

You could submit the varied coupons to the database.

    • Karla

thank you so much! an index of coupons in these inserts is such a timesaving tool! thank you Jaim'e in SC for my list.

      • Rachel

I agree!!! It really helps to have an index list!!!!

        • Jaim'e

          You are very welcome :)

      • Jaim'e

        You are very welcome :)

        • Couponwayne

Do you have an excel sheet that has this variation info that way we could sort it by a variety of ways we need it?
I was thinking of the headings of
          Value, Product, Insert, Expire date.
If no one is doing this I was thinking of creating one and I could try and post it somewhere.on here.

    • I see that no one reported which inserts were in the Atlanta paper last week. I get that paper and could report on it, but I was unable to find any contact information on this website. How are people sending in the information about their local papers, because I'd be glad to do it.

      • OK, my mistake! There IS a contact form way at the bottom of the page. I have filled it out, offering to do the Atlanta paper. A couple other people had the same question, so I am posting this information for them.
