Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 3/06.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. If you see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your area and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. Use it as a way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

A legend for the list:

Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert

Blue = A Change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.

What is a good online coupon site for ordering them?

    • Mcleodsc

Sumter SC THE ITEM only the Red Plum insert

    • Shellypsu1

Myrtle Beach, the Sun News had two inserts on 3/6/11. SS and RP.

      • Katkoupon

Can I ask where you bought them?

    • just a heads up that I talked with another mom today who said that her n. charleston, sc Post & Courier paper did not have a red plum insert this past sunday. i'm guessing that the regional SC papers vary with inserts??? My W. Ashley list varies just slightly from the one listed above for the Post & Courier.

    • Did anyone buying the Atlanta Journal Constitution only get a Red Plum? I bought two, and I couldn't find a Smart Source in either one. ;( I ordered one from Coupon Beat a minute ago, though. Woo.

      • germangirl

I bought 4 AJC's and only got Red Plum. I even checked at 2 different stores and no SS in any of them. Not happy!

      • debit

YES! I have bought multiple AJCs the last couple of weeks and am only getting the red plum! coupons!! VERY frustrating! Have not heard of Coupon Beat, will have to check them out.

im telling you im mad about the montgomery advertiser in my area! i used to live closer to dothan, and got the dothan eagle and the advertiser, usually getting a good selection of coupons. i especially loved it when i worked as a waitress, and had all my cutomers save me their coupons out of the papers if they didnt need them or use them (youd be sorprised how many people dont use coupons!)
now, however, i live in a small town, whose local paper (if thats even what you want to call it, lol) doesnt get them at all. so every weekend, i get the montgomery advertiser, thankfully they have those in the 1 machine in town, and at the little grocery store. but, its been 2 months that there have been to P&G savers, no redplum, and finally this week, i got one lousy smartsource. what is going on with the advertiser? are the diffferent ares of delivery put together with different, or in my case, seemingly no coupons?
i know, shamefully, some people have the audacity to pay for one paper, and take out the ads from each one in a machine, but the papers at the grocery store are hand delivered to the store, and sold inside, by the registers. i have asked the cashiers to mention something to the person who delivers them, with no success. is there any way to actually get the coupons that are supposed to be in the advertiser? im getting totlly aggravated. sometimes its not enough to only be able to print coupons twice, and there are many that arent on the printable sites. :( im almost ready to give up!

I had the same situation in NC. I live in Wilmington, NC but get the Raleigh paper because the coupons are better. I go inside the stores to get them and there are no coupons. I usually get two papers so that is $4 a week! Each week I have written the Raleigh paper and they have mailed the inserts, but that is a pain each week. I might see about subscribing for just the Sunday paper. They will mail it and it will not come on Sunday, but at least I will have them.

I thought it was someone stealing them too. I don't think they put coupons in all the ones out of town. Not a good policy. We like the Raleigh news too.

        Good Luck!

I live in Montgomery and I can tell you the coupons in the Advertiser are rarely any good. Usually most of it is trash. It's definitely not worth paying for the paper b/c you will not get much. I don't think you are getting less in the Advertiser where you live, we are not getting anything good here in town. If I can get it free from a friend or relative, I take it, but most the time I do not use coupons from them.

I have a question….WHY are there so many variations in the coupons that are put in papers? I generally buy 1 paper from where I live, and another from a much larger town about 70 miles away ( not driving that far for a paper; it's sold at the same store). I have noticed lots of differences in the coupons. I just wonder WHY??? It's like people in small towns are not worthy of the good coupons or something…..

I live in the Savannah area and have been buying 5 news papers each week, and the RP and SS don't have many good coupons, I just ordered 6 whole inserts of RP and SS that had tons more coupons than what I get. The total I paid was 12.00 including shipping. They ship from Florida. Anyone else do this?
