Thanks again for a job well done! This is absolutely my favorite site!!

    • Rita

I have a question please. Do you have to buy the item to get the catalina to print? In other words, do you have to buy Phil Cream cheese to activate the deal? And do you have to present the catalina to redeem it or does your store card keep up with it?

      • esynan

Buy 3 Philadelphia Cream cheese in the same transaction and a coupon will print for 75 cents off your next purchase at that store. You have to buy them in the same transaction.

    • Kim

      Question about Catalina.
If it says Manufact. Coupon at the top, can you use it anywhere?

    • candi

does it have to be in one purchase or does your VIC/MVP?etc card keep track??

    • Kristin

Thanks so much! Just what I needed!!!

    • Yes, I had a coupon for V8 Fusion juice from Harris Teeter, and just moved to Baton Rouge, where there are no Harris Teeters. It said Manufacturer's Coupon at the top, and the local Albertsons took it just fine. Coupons are coupons!

    • we only have hyvee that has catalinas, i am in northern missouri… do you think that these will be here too? also, is it $$ off your next purchase at the store or on that brand of items…

I LOVE your site, i only can shop at Target, CVS, and Walgreens, since we don't have the same grocery chains up here, but i LOVE to check southern savers before i go to the drug stores! thanks for all your hard work

      • courtney_80

i live in northern MO, too! Kroger in Hannibal, MO always has these deals. i have found that Hy-Vee usually has similar catalinas, but not as many.

    • UnfinishedMom

So glad to see you're adding this page.
This is really helpful to have them all in one place

    • Naomi

To do the deals that were posted, you need to buy that particular product(s) that are listed. These are mostly manuf. cpns and I would not suggest using them at another store unless you ask management first. Right now, I do not know of any stores that keep up with them via the loyalty cards.

    • Naomi

      Forgot to add this…
Thank you so much for adding this! I love your site!

    • Judi

Duh! Catalina, NOT the salad dressing! Didn't know the machine had a name. They are great. For some reason, my son-in-law almost always gets 5 or 6 coupons per checkout where I'm lucky to get one!

      • jengc

ROFL!!! I did the same thing when I first heard about them. I thought “wha???”

    • Becky

Jenny, thanks so much for adding this to the site. I have missed out on a lot of these in the past because I only knew about them if I got a Catalina telling me about the coming deal. Now I can go to Southern Savers for yet another list that I need!

    • jen

fyi – I did the yoplait deal (I bought fiber one yogurt and some cups) that came the correct total. nothing printed out. I contacted the catalina company via email, they said they didn't have a cat running for that and asked me where I got the info, I sent them some other blog websites I follow that had it listed. They said that ,”We are not associated with any blog web sites , you ill need to contact the store in your area .” so I got nuttin. Just thought I'd pass that along. I tried it at Kroger and I live in southwest Virginia.

      • jengc

If you were not meaning to buy it without the deal, I would return it. (unless you have already eaten it. Those ROCK!!)

        • Amber S.

Not to be the voice of dissension or anything, but I like to share this knowledge because most consumers do not know this. Anything that is refrigerated or frozen, when returned, is immediately thrown away. Stores are not allowed to put it back on the shelf because they do not know whether or not its correct temperature has been maintained. This is a source of great waste in stores, which drives costs higher. It may be a little at a time, but it still goes up. Unless you are desperate if you do not return that refrigerated/frozen item, please keep and use it or give it away to someone who will use it.

I should say that I know from my previous career that this is true in GA. However, I would imagine that it is the same or at least similar in many states. If you think about it, we should all hope that it is that way in every state and that every store complies. Who wants to get something home and open it to serve to our family just to find that it has spoiled because of a lack of refrigeration? Or, worse, with some items it is not immediately obvious, so you eat it and then get food poisoning.

          • jengc

I didn't think about that. I just thought of it as an item that you didn't get the deal on that you thought. I wouldn't want them to throw it away since it really wasn't their fault. I was just thinking something like Walgreens or CVS where you didnt get the Registry Rewards or ECBs back that you thought you were going to get and didnt so you just return it no harm done. But you are right with a refrigerated item, that would be logical.

          • jen

no worries.. the yogurts were already eaten and long gone in the time it took me to hear back from the catalina company… and what you say makes total sense.

I saw another post-er say that the yoplait deal would print the next time you scanned your card… I've gone shopping since then (and even purchased yoplait stuff – enough for another catalina!) and nothing has printed. Must be a regional deal… I'd be interested in knowing if anyone gets it to print out.

            • kathrynmcgregor

Also happened to me on the McCormick Spices deal. I bought two items and nothing printed. The manager told me I didn't buy the right things, but I bought one food coloring and one spice, which Jenny has listed. We'll see if it prints next time, but I'm not counting on it.

          • Niddi

this is true also at Target. Only they do it with many food items.
Bought cereal once and went straight from the cash register to the service desk because my daughter who I was talking to on the phone at the time said she no longer liked the one I'd just bought. Customer service told me the items could not be resold. I finally convinced them they had never left the store and were just purchased within the last 2 minutes. So please check with your store, it may not only be refrigerated items that can't be resold.

            • morgan

Our Wal Mart throws every returned food item in the trash. Learned this when I went to return a bag of coffee beans because they were the wrong 'roast'. I felt so guilty after she told me that I changed my mind and took the bag to a local food pantry. They were thrilled to have such a luxury as coffee (and I was thrilled I made somone's day).

            • Niddi

I know how you feel. I would have kept the cereal had they not agreed to return it to the shelf. Not many people realize that this is a large loss for stores. Many a years ago when my teenage daughter was attending birthday parties for friends and the big thing was Bath and Body Works products as gifts we would buy them and were told by the sales person that the fragrance could be exchanged if they wanted something different. What they don't tell you is that when they are exchanged the returned ones are thrown out. It's a saftety issue in case somehow the product was contaminated. I was so upset that I let someone at their corporate office have a large chunc of my mind. No wonder their products cost so much. I suggested they put a seal under the cap so those products could be resold. No changes have yet been made to either the product or the policy. I now avoid going there unless I am buying a gift that someone has specifically requested. (I'm enjoying all my free and cheap stuff so much more) lol

            • Donna

I ordered lotion from the Bath & Body web site. I was thrilled to see that there was a seal around each of the lids on the bottles. The seal had to be broken to even unscrew the lid. I have never seen a seal on the bottles at the store.

            • Niddi

Good to know. Wish they would start doing that in the stores as well. Since they always have a tester one there is no reason not to. In store bought items are the ones usually purchased for gifts and often returned. Can you imagine how much money would have been saved if returned items didn't have to be tossed ( and save us money as well by keeping prices in check) Some of these companies should make us frugal and moneysaving customers part of their advisory board. They could pay us from their CEO's yearly bonus and probably save enough money to cover his multi-million yearly pay. lol

          • joybuyer

For everyone that replied to this post, thank you for the information! I would have never thought about it either – but it makes complete sense to me. I am surprised about the Bath and Body Works info too…but of course the products are not sealed so they cannot take the risk of returning and item to the shelf. Thanks for sharing the info!

    • adevine139

This is so great Jenny!!! Thank you for keeping us so well informed : )

    • nolandi

wow… this is wonderful Thanks a lot!!!

    • Emily

Thanks a lot!! Do you know if the Pillsbury Refrigerated Holiday Cookies (the sugar cookies with the holiday designs on them) can be used for the Pillsbury catalina deal? Thanks!

      • Tiffany

Yes I got one for these.

    • heather

Thanks, Jenny! Just another way you continue to make this site great!!

    • MomOf4Blessings

This is AWESOME! Thanks so much, Jenny!

    • Lindsay

      WOW- thanks, Jenny. Love it!!

    • Jenny, you do so much already! I can't believe you have the time to do anything and keep up with all this stuff too, thank you so much!!! You're amazing! Are you sure you're not a machine? LOL :)

    • There are no stores attached to these catalinas, how do we know who is participating?

      • I did just see the Kroger only in green. But, still how do we know if it is BiLo or Winn Dixie, etc…??

        • moms_coupons

Part of Jenny's post said “Generally these promotions run at all stores that have Catalina Machines.” I think YMMV…but if you've got Qs, and you were going to buy it anyway, the Catalina will just be an added bonus!

    • preludejf

I bought 2 Dole salad kits at winn dixie and one printed for $1.00 off when you 2 Dole salad kits on your next order..

    • a_shrader

Thanks for the extra help. As always, it's appreciated!

    • beckyr

Can you do the deal as many times you'd like before the expiration date? Example, I already did the cereal/milk deal up to 3 gal. free milk. If I do another cereal transaction (for 3+ cereals), will I get another Catalina or is there a limit?

      • esynan

You can do it as many times as you want to! Thats the beauty. Time to stock up!

        • beckyr

          Thanks for the response. Awesome!

    • Charity

The yoplait catalina works a little differently than they usually do. I've done this deal several times. You don't have to purchase the total amount in one purchase. It's tied to your card and keeps track ofhow much you purchase over time. Once you reach the amount needed, your coupon will print te NEXT time that you use your card. I guess it has to have time to calculate the correct amount since it isn't necessary to do it all in one transaction. HTH.

      • gingerinCA

Really! Yes, thanks, that helped me, anyway. :) Because I bought a few Yoplait 2 dyas ago, but didn't know about the Catalina. Will cross fingers for next time!

    • Heather

      THANK YOU!!! This is WONDERFUL!!

    • Nicki

Great list, I will give a few words of caution. All of these Catalina Promotions do not work at ALL Kroger Stores. Different stores participate in different promotions, always look for signage near the items (often white and red) and ask if you do not see the promotion advertised anywhere on the store's circular or in the store. I tried the Kellogg's Deal at my local Kroger in Louisiana and they are not participating in that Catalina Deal.

      • moms_coupons

Where in Louisiana are you that you have a Kroger??? Their store locator is not showing any Louisiana locations…the closest one to me is 66 miles, in McComb, MS. I was wondering…since I seem to miss some of the best deals at stores like Kroger and Publix…and you say you're in Louisiana and shop a Kroger?!?!?

        • elizabeth

I live in Shreveport, LA, and we have two Krogers…There's also one in Bossier City, LA as well. Hope that helps…where are you in LA??

          • moms_coupons

I'm in Mandeville…so you're a little too far away from me! But, I lived in Natchitoches for five years, so I know the area. Lucky you with a Kroger! I've got Rouses, Winn-Dixie, and Albertsons for grocery stores, none of which double coupons, that I've discovered so far. So far, I've had the best luck with Winn-Dixie in matching sales with Qs. Have started weaning myself from falling back on WalMart for everything!

      • gingerinCA

Usually at my Kroger (Ralphs,) the only way to find out is to try it, or if you get a Catalina prior to the offer that describes the offer. They rarely have signage.

    • jancaldwell

Is there anyway to print your own Catalina deals?
      Thanks for writing this list.

    • jancaldwell

I meant to say is there any way to print these Catatina deals?

    • 1MiniMom

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is great info to have.

    • Kathi

I purchased the BC potatoes and the McCormick spices on Wednesday at Harris Teeter and didn't get a Catalina on either one.

      • Sandra

Ya, I tried the mccormick and didn't get it either. Got other ones though in that transaction.

    • Jacq

I just bought 8 boxes of Kelloggs cereal and didn't get any catalinas. Any suggestions?

      • Jacq

Sorry- at Kroger in Canton GA

      • Alisha

I feel your pain Jacq…I purchased 3boxes of Kelloggs cereal today at Harris Teeter and didn't get a catalina for free milk. I was a tadbit PO'd about it since that was the only reason I purchased the cereal in the first place. Any suggestions would be welcome as well. Thanks.

        • Jacq

When I called the Catalina company (great customer service by the way!) they said that the Krogers in my area weren't participating. He said if it was on their website or flyer we could send that in and they would mail them to us. He also said there was no way of knowing if it would work in our stores or not unless advertised…. bummer.

    • mollies

I had about $10 worth of Catalinas print out during my last Kroger trip and I didn't expect them!! They are all formatted as $1 off your next shopping trip. My question is has anyone used these at their Publix and do they count as a competitor q?

      • They will take them as competitors!

    • joanna00

Wow! Thanks so much for the heads up! I went to Kroger, bought 3 BC potato pouches ($1.09 each), and my $3 catalina printed once I checked out! I checked my receipt, and I actually had 3 $0.40/1 coupons loaded on my Kroger card from Cellfire and Shortcuts! Woohoo! Definitely going to buy more of those potatoes to stock up!

    • 1956Chevy

Thanks for all you do. This is by far my favorite site. I have only been doing this for about a month now and I can't begin to tell you how much money I have saved.

    • Jessyca

Hmm that stinks I went to Kroger today and bought 2 sauve kids body washes, and didnt get any catalina back.. do the kids bodywashes not count?

    • Tammi

Target has installed this type of printer in their stores in Pensacola, FL. I work there and have seen some really good coupons being printed…

    • ivegotcutekids

Last week I went to Kroger and bought 2 packs of the Oscar-Meyer hot dogs that were $1.49 when you buy 8 participating products. A $2.00 Oscar Meyer Catalina printed, making them essentially 49 cents a pack. I then bought 4 more packs at my next visit and received 2 Catalinas for $2.00 each. In my excitement over cheap hot dogs (I have four kids), I went back and bought 8 packs. That time not one Catalina printed. Oh well, live and learn. I asked the lady at the service desk if she knew what the Catalina deals were, and she said they did not have a list of the deals. We'll be eating hot dogs for a while. ; )

      • lisasauce

same thing happened to me! I was so excited to get the $2 coupon I went back to buy more, and didn't get the catalina.. :( oh well, it must have ended by the time I made it back.

    • LPM

Winn Dixie (north FL) is participating in the Kellogg's deal…thought it would be a good deal since they are also running a BOGO on Kellogg's cereal, however for catalina deal, all cereal must be 12 oz. or larger, none of which are BOGO.

Another catalina deal was for SC Johnson products (Ziploc, Windex, Shout, Scrubbing Bubbles, Glade, etc.) I rec'd a $2.00 Manufacturer Q good for next purchase of anything.

    • elizabeth

I live in Shreveport, LA, and we have two Krogers…There's also one in Bossier City, LA as well. Hope that helps…where are you in LA??

    • catherine

i went to kroger tonight to get chocolate for a frosting, and bought 2 bags of ghiradelli chips. i got a 1.00 catalina from it, but there was no other information on the cat, only a thank you from ghiradelli. thought i would throw my 2 cents in.

    • Jessica

Can you keep rolling this deal over for the BC potatoes. Buy3, get a $3 coupon off next purchase. Then buy 3 more, use the $3 coupon, then get another $3 coupon print out…on and on…leaving some on the shelf of course.

    • lisasauce

I bought 4 Philly cream cheeses, and didn't get the Catalina deal. Who should I contact?

    • lisasauce

Got 3 free gallons of milk last night from HT after buying 7 boxes of mini wheats! The mini wheats are buy one get one free and I had lots of coupons, and there was an evic special so I paid like $4 for all of them.

      • Erin

What Harris Teeter did you go to?

        • lisasauce

          HT in Crozet, VA.

    • debran55

Yay! I love that you are listing these now. Come to think of it, I love that you do this site. You save me oodles of time and money and I SOOOO appreciate you.

    • debran55

Yay! I love that you are listing these now. Come to think of it, I love that you do this site. You save me oodles of time and money and I SOOOO appreciate you.

    • Angela

Question for Jenny: Could you put the check-boxes next to these deals to make it easier to print them as a list? I want to do 3 or 4 of these deals but I won't remember them so I need it in black & white. If it isn't too much trouble, I would really appreciate it. I am so thankful for all your hard work saving us money!

    • The pillsbury one worked for me today. Also got a $1 catalina for buying a General Mills cereal. Yea for a surprise!

    • KHutch

Jenny: At Food Lion I got one of those “Informational Catalinas”. It says Post Cereals from 3-26 through 4-12. Buy 2 get $1, buy 3 get $2, buy 4 or more get $3. Thought you'd want to know.

Thanks for EVERYTHING you do :)

    • RegMcD

Food Lion in Kershaw County: Catalina worked for the Good Seasons Dressings, but not for the Old El Paso Products. Those are the only two I tried. I'm thankful for the C-coupon I got!

    • taurus49

what stores do you get these catalinas

    • shaunascoupons

McCormick Spice, Herb, Extract or Coloring

Go to coupons dot com use zip 62946 and print them soon. As far as I know these may be gone at the beginning of april. I just printed mine and they don't expire until 4/26/10. I haven't done the actual deal but I am really looking forward to it! Good luck!

    • Amy

Quick question on the Kroger Kraft Cheese/Dairy Products Catalina:

I purchased over $300 worth of Kraft Cheese this last week at Kroger (for donating), and paid roughly $4 OOP using coupons. Did I not receive the coupon because my OOP was less than $20? Is the $ requirement prior to coupons?

      • Mary Mitchell

Good question hope someone will answer…

    • megan10

On the catalina for the pillsbury products, will harris teeter allow you to use pillsbury manufacturer coupons and then use that catalina also?

    • Tiffany

Has anyone tried the Kelloggs/milk deal at Bi-Lo? I tried today and didn't get anything. They were really nice about it, but couldn't figure it out either. Usually when it works at one store it works at the other just wondering.

    • ivegotcutekids

I just went to Kroger and used two 50 cents off suave kid's body wash Q's (price was 1.99 each before coupons), and the B2G1 body wash free coupon. After the $1.50 Catalina and the double coupons, it worked out to be 3 bodywashes for 50 cents total.

    • amyjos

The McCormick deal worked for me last night at BI-LO!

    • At my Kroger in the Houston area we also have a catalina deal for Quaker Chewy granola bars buy 4 @ 1.29 each, get $4 off your next purchase. Additionally, buy 4 Post cereals for $1.50 get $4 off your next purchase

      • Mary Mitchell

I went to Kroger in Houston and bought the potatoes (3) and the biscuits (4) and did not get any catalinas!

        • Last time that happened to me I went straight to the customer service counter and nicely pointed out the error and they gave me the cash equal since I wasn't done and had to make 2 trips to get all I wanted. If you don't know your manager's get friendly with them, all my managers and staff know me well and they all work with me when they see me coming. I even got my manager at HEB to take my french's onion coupons and let me use them on their brand since they were out of what I wanted and they had no problem doing it since I asked nicely.

    • VeggieMoma

This catalina list is fantastic. Thank you so much.
