The Sacramento Bee has another CVS printable coupon this week! Get $5 off any $20 purchase.

There are tons of great deals this week, so this makes it even better!

(thanks Coupon High!)

    • Jamie

These coupons are always posted the day AFTER I make my trip to CVS :( ….. lol.. but I can’t complain too much… I made money on my trip yesterday! :)

    • mel

Can this coupon be used at any CVS? Thanks for all you do!

      • Tracy C

It has worked at everyone that I used it at, 4.

        • Audrey Thomas

Yes, used mine in alabama !!!!!!! Love Cvs

        • mel

    • Amanda

Can these coupons be used with ECB’s?

      • Tracy C

Yes, you can use these alond with your ECB and Manufacturer coupons.

    • Carrie

I’m headed to CVS to buy a GPS that is on sale for $80 and this will save me 5 more! Thanks Jenny.

    • krks

Yes, they can be used at any CVS and with manuf coupons, CVS coupons, and ECB’s. Just make sure you give this one to the cashier first, while your subtotal is above $20. Then, use your other coupons and spend next to nothing. This coupon can also be printed more than once, so if you’re buying two or three sets of $20, break up your order into multiple transactions or make several trips. Enjoy! These don’t come around often anymore! Thank you, CVS!!!

      Merry Christmas!

      • Carrie

At my two local CVS locations you cannot use any printable CVS coupon with the same bar code more than once per CVS account. The computer will beep and say exactly when you last used the coupon.

      • kelli

you cannot use this coupon with other cvs coupons. it says it on the coupon and if you try to use them, the coupon will beep and say something like “limit reached on this kind of coupon.”

    • Jen

Is there a trick to getting this one? I can’t seem to get it to come up when I click on the link. It directs me to the Sacramento Bee’s site, but it doesn’t actually show the ad or coupon.

    • Becky

It states on the coupon that it cannot be used from an unauthorized internet posting. Do you have the rights to post this? I know some coupons are valid in some areas but this doesn’t look valid.

    • Jana

I just got home from my CVS and I scanned my card before I shopped and it printed a $1.00 green bag tag extra buck and a $5 off $15 purchase good for 3 days only expiring Christmas Eve. You may want to scan before you shop to see. The cashier told me she scanned her card earlier today and got the same coupons. It really helped me out. I have to use Aveeno lotion and after the extra buck, $5 off, and the 2 coupons I had, I paid $11.00 for 3 bottles of lotion. That would have been the cost of 1 bottle at a super center.

      • Molly

Yes, I did the same thing. Decided to scan my card at the scanner thing just before I checked out (even though lately the Qs it gives me are for random CVS-brand products), and it gave me TWO $5 off $15 Qs to use before Dec. 24!! So definitely scan before you shop!!! :)

      • AKelly

I 3rd the motion. On a whim I scanned mine last week and got the $5 off $15. I had $10 of merchandise in my hand, so it was like a free $5. I was really excited about that one.

        • suellen

the machine at our door was not working, but when cashier scanned mine after my 1st transaction, I got the same qpons, had to rearrange my transactions, so I could use the $5/$15, but it was a nice surprise!!

        • Stefanie

I did the same thing. Scanned my card before shopping and it printed off (2) $5/$15! :) Used one yesterday and trying to come up w/ a good trip to used the 2nd today.

      • Carrie

I am so glad you posted this. I have been wondering where all my green bag tag money ECB’s were since they had not been printing out. I also got one $5 off $15 which I am so HAPPY about. Had you guys not posted this I wouldn’t have gone by while I was out and about in town. This was worth it! :)
I had gotten the $5 off $15 back around Thanksgiving and thought that I’d never get one of those again. :D

    • Shannon in ATL

Not sure why I never get the 5$ off 15 when I scan my card. Did receive the Green Bag coupon but that was it. Used the Sacremento coupon twice without any trouble.

Don’t use the print preview option when you print.

      • kelli

I haven’t gotten a $5/$15 either… and some people are getting 2!!! I’m so jealous. I never get the coupons on my receipts or in email anymore. :(

        • Carrie

My husband has a CVS card which is old in CVS’ system. He always gets $5 off $30, or $5 off $25.

When I realized that I could have a card in my name, I opened one and this one does not give those coupons like his give. BUT this newer one does give $5 off $15. His card won’t get that so I think it depends on the age of the card.

    • Angela, TN

Oh man, I love these 5 dollar off coupons. I save so much..Thank you for being on top of things…

    • D

Everyone is getting the 5 off of 15 coupon but it has to be used within 3 days. Everyone that was rung up today in my store recieved one if they had an extra care card so if you need a 5/15 coupon, buy something small.. it should print out.

    • Sindy

Wow another 5 of 20, I used the last one on 2 Zhu Zhu Pets that I found ( I think they were strategically hidden…..

      Merry Xmas All!!

      • Tracy C

me too! They had them behind the counter.

    • BrandyinSC

I knew there was a reason I decided to wait until tomorrow to go to CVS. Even though, they might be out of a lot of things. This will come in handy for a few stocking stuffers I still wanted to pick up.

    • Michelle in FL

Anyone in FL had any problems with CVS accepting this here? Just want to be prepared with another scenario if need be.

      • susan

St. Augustine here. I had no issues at all when I used the last one printed from Sacramento.

        • Amy

          no prob in Palmetto, FL

    • Chloe

I agree with Becky. The fine print on this coupon is very specific. They want the ORIGINAL coupon from the CVS circular, not an unauthorized Internet print-out. I’m all for saving $$$ but I’m not willing to commit fraud. Please double and triple-check to make sure the coupon offers you post are 100% legitimate.

    • pharmSCgirl

So you can use this coupon twice on the same CVS card? I wasn’t sure if they would monitor if you had already used the $5 off coupon for the week.

I hate that I already went to CVS this week but this is a nice coupon to have before Christmas.

    • Ann

So if you have the $5 off $15, and the $5 off $20, can they be used together?

      • Audrey Thomas

Yes you can, just make sure you have your total at $20 then use $ 5 off then use $5 off $15 and then all your other manuf.coupons

      • Molly

On the $5 off $15 it says it cannot be used with any other $x off $x coupons. But perhaps the previous poster works around that.

      • kelli

the $5/$20 says that it can’t be used with an other cvs/pharmacy coupon. it will beep if you try to use any other store coupons with the $5/$20. I had that problem last week.

    • Todd

I always wondered if you could use more than one $X off $4x type CVS Coupons… So could one use a $5 Off $30, a $5 Off $20, & a $5 Off $15 all in the same Transaction???

Thats gotta be too goo to be true, no?

      • My CVS has always let me use two, only if they are of different values, i.e., 1-$5 off $30 and $4 off $20. Tried three once and alls I got was a ‘giggle’ and a shaking ‘nooo’ of her head. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

    • I got the $5 off $15 as I went to CVS yesterday for some pics! haven’t done my CVSing this week, so this will work out fantastically!

    • Jessica

I am new to doing the CVS shopping. Can you use the $5/$20 more than once if you shop at different stores?

      • Jessica

The coupon says limit one coupon per customer, but I see similar posts that say that you can use more than 1 coupon if you do different transactions. I am going to buy 2 of the refill brushes for the Sonicaire products at $24.99 with $5ECB and then mail in a rebate from my toothbrush purchases for $19.99 each.

    • Shannon in ATL

The folks at my CVS are so very kind to me everytime I go in there so I wold like to pay them back just a bit. I plan on taking in a cake or some other treat Christmas morning or afternoon….stinks having to work on Christmas!

    • Rose

I tried using the the 5 off of 20 printed here and they said that it was already used in November ! I was not happy… give me an idea… it only worked for me once and I have multiple cards….

      • Carrie

Wow, I hope this doesn’t happen to me, I’m fixing to go get the BIG life size plushy bear (they’ve got only one left), ECB’s going directly down the drain. :x

    • wendy

the 5/20 says cannot be combined with any other cvs/pharmacy coupons.
What does this mean? Can I use my extra bucks or my crt coupons?

      • kelli

you can use it with extra bucks, you cannot use it with other store coupons

    • Sheila

I clicked on the link and the coupon is not there. Suggestions?

    • Kendra

If you guy a gift card online at CVS.com, you get a free $5 for every $25 purchase. Up to $150 can be bought per transaction, giving you a free $50. I used it and it works great. You have to click on the purchase button to see the details, and they e-mail it to you with a barcode you print off and immediately redeem. I bought myself a $25, got another $5 for free, used it with the $5/$20 and ECB’s no porblem. You do not have to use it all in one transaction, either. Can’t be used for online yet. Limited time only.

      • kelli

you only get $30 if you buy $150.

I also bought myself a gift card and I’ve been using it for 2 weeks. the 3 stores I’ve used it in have all been confused by it… I just hand it to them and tell them it’s a gift card. then I mention that they need to hit the gift card on their screen.

one cashier tried to tell me that it wans’t a valid gift card because it was a print out, and it wasn’t even in color. I told her that it was an email and I didn’t have a color printer, then her manager walked up behind her and told her that it was valid. the cashier was just in a really bad mood I think, she snapped at my fiance about having his own card, then she yelled at me across the counter in front of her manager. other then this one problem with it, I haven’t had any… they always say “I’ve never seen one of those before” but it always works.

    • Anna

Great coupon! Thanks so much, Jenny!!!

    • Sharon

I printed the last Sacramento Bee coupon and took it to CVS – they said I had already used it! I was embarrassed because the cashier looked at me as though I was trying to use an illegal coupon…Has anyone else had this experience? I don’t know how this happened.

      • Mrs

I don’t know how it happened either. A few weeks back I took in a coupon for … maybe it was for taking the quiz on Medicare. When the cashier rang it up, he said that I had already used it on … and he gave me a date. I was not even shopping that day. But the cashier would not take it, so I just left sad. :(

    • Jen

Anyone else having trouble seeing the coupon – make sure you don’t have an ad blocker running. I disabled mine, and the Q came up just fine.

    • Monique

Can you use this coupon at Publix

      • Lori

Depends on which Publix you go to. Mine use to take them all the time, and now they aren’t accepting CVS coupons anymore. But where my friend lives, they take CVS coupons. I would call your Publix and ask what competitor coupons they take.

    • Jessica

My first CVS shopping experience was great until I got home and realized I was missing a bag with my Sonicaire brush refills. I did 4 transactions and let others go ahead of me twice and I dont think bag ever made it into my cart. I called the store and they did not have it, so some lucky customer received a $24.99 ($14.99 my cost) item for free :(

      • Ashley

Ummm, they need to be giving you another Sonicare. Obviously, the cashier did not give you your bag, and that is their responsibility. I would get up there ASAP and pretty much “demand” another one.

        Remember, it’s their mistake.

        • Jessica

There is a happy ending…I waited an hour and was so upset I called back again and talked to the store manager again and explained what happened and asked him if there was anything he could do for me that these brush refills were for my kids xmas gifts and I knew for a fact that I never received the bag. His response was to just come down and get another one and we would call it even :) I did go back and the clerk and the manager were talking together, the clerk remembered me. I sure hope that the customer that got the wrong bag brings it back to them. But I am happy!!

    • traci

Awesome week at CVS. I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of shopping there.

      This week I saved 96%

      My total savings $121.11
      oop $ 4.69

And I have $7.49 ecb’s to roll over too.

      Merry Christmas everyone!

      • Jenny Q.

Wow! That’s awesome! Did you do multiple transactions?

        • Traci

yes, I ended up with 3 trips and 6 different transactions.

    • Lynette

That coupon makes such a difference, thanks, Happy Holidays
