    • Liz

Has anyone else gotten the CVS 25% off 4-day event coupon in the mail?  It excludes sale merchandise, promotional offerings including” buy more and save” promotions, discontinued merchandise, milk, bread, alcohol, gift cards ,lottery, money orders, newspapers, magazines, prescriptions, postage stamps, pre-paidcards, tobacco.  Is this still a good deal?

      • KT

no, its not.  unless you really need something thats not on sale.  excludes all items on this list that are sale or ECB items.

    • Kristan

Now I love CVS!!  But I had a horrible experience last night.  I got two deodorants and had a BIGI coupon, then a $1 coupon and the deo was $3.29.  The cashier said in order to get it free she had to make the BIGI coupon for 2.29 and then scanned my $1 coupon.  I asked her why she did this and she said so you can get it free.  I said no the $1 coupons is for the one I'm paying full price for.  I said it doesn't work that way.  Now, mind you I've had trouble with this lady before and have talked to the manager about her.  I said you can't make up your own coupon rules and she said well, actually I can.  I told her to just forget it and I would come back and get it later when she wasn't there.  This was totally outrageous to me.  I've never had this happen before.  Are they really allowed to do that?  I asked for the manager and he wasn't there.  Any ideas or suggestions or opinions from anybody about this?

      • Jeriscoupons

I think she meant to scan the B1G1 q so that you could get one free and pay the price minus the $1q on the other one.  I have had this happen to me; some CVS computers are set up to reject any additional q’s with a B1G1 q and the cashier cannot override it.  The computers at another CVS just two miles down the road let it go through without so much as a beep.  Very strange.

      • Christinekell

was there a max value on the B1G1 coupon?  maybe the cutoff was $2.99 so by doing it the way she suggested it made both free instead of paying $0.30

        • Kristan

No, the max on the coupon was $6 and the deodorant was $3.29 and she only put in $2.29, and then scanned my $1 coupon, so I was going to have to pay full price for the other one.   Just does not make sense.

          • Rubies20

i had that bogo coupon and when my cashier scanned it it automatically took off $6 no problem she just wrote $6 and went on even though the price was only like $2.69?? i personally questioned it and she just went to the next coupon

            • Yes, this is the norm at CVS. They give you overage on these types of q's both with b1g1 and a coupon with a higher value than the sale price. I remember asking the cashier about it and he said he said that he didn't even have the ability to adjust the value down. I just left it at that.

      • Kristin

If' you'll click on the link at the top right of the CVS page on this site, you can read the coupon policy.  The way I read it, you were doing something that IS allowed at CVS.  I'd put CVS's phone number in my phone and call from the store next time you have problems.  And carry their coupon policy with you.  She can not make up her own rules. I've had luck with this phrase too “Never mind.  I'll call Customer Service when I get home”.  All of a sudden, things start going my way once I say that.  Of course, I say it nicely. And I'm always 100% sure I'm not trying to do something “wrong” before I say it.  .

        • Kristan

Yes, I actually called the corporate office this afternoon and they said they would take care of it since I had complained to the store manager and the cashier is actually worse instead of better…just doesn't make any sense…anyway

          • AJ

I have actually had several problems at my CVS store so I just call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and they always take care of the problem.  Often times they send a message to a district manager and tell me they will educate the cashiers regarding the coupon policies as well.

          • Phatpatswife

She probably recognizes you and now is pissy towards you because of when you called before. But that's her fault for being so awful to deal with. Don't let it discourage you, next time you go in and she gives you trouble, call the corporate office right there and let her grovel to them about how she's acting.

And please don't take this the wrong way. I'm not trying to sound vindictive, but i'm a cashier at cvs and I love my customers. They all love me as well and know that I would never treat them that way. They give me ideas sometimes that I didn't think about for weekly deals. She has a chip on her shoulder and if she's going to treat people like that she shouldn't be working in retail.

      • Just give her your $1 coupon first next time, then say “Oh, and this b1g1.”  If you still have trouble, shrug it off or go to a different CVS– it's just $1, after all.  I know it's frustrating.  I don't go to Walgreens anywhere anymore, period, because I always have trouble just with sales and RR not coming up, not even coupon issues, and the employees just give me attitude.

        • Kristan

Yes, that's what my mom suggested, but with her attitude she would have prolly just done the same thing :)  Oh well!  I called the store and talked to the other cashier that I love and explained it to her and she even said that don't sound right.  so, I'll go later and try the deal again b/c I know I'm within the policy.

      • Chelmert0927

I find it hard to believe there was no manager on duty.  A simple cashier doesn't run the whole store.  In my experience there is always a “shift manager” on duty.

        • Kristan

Yeah, I wondered that, too, but there was no one else in the store except for a couple of pharmacy people.  I thought somebody has to be in charge. Maybe that's why she acted like that…she thought she was the boss :)

          • Phatpatswife

The only time the manager or shift supervisor wouldn't be in the building would be for a possible bank run. But normally they do that when the next shift manager is coming on. She straight up lied to you and I would certainly make a point of mentioning it next time you are there. Also, you can always go to the pharmacy and ask them to page the manager for you.

    • Candice

Where do I get the CVS coupon magazine, “Reinventing Beauty magazine”

    • GAmommyof3

AWESOME! I will be there when they open Sunday!

    • Nursestacy

Where can I find the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine?

      • Lzbacnik

The Reinventing Beauty Magazine sells for .99 cents.  My CVS has them located in a rack next to the door.

    • PennyKay

on the schick hydro razor that is B1G1 Jenny has it posted to use (1) $4q, why? Can't I use (2) $4q's since I am buying 2 and get them for .99cents?

      • Almsw119

        No, since one is free.

      • Anna

I think you are right. She also uses 2 Qs on the B1G1 Scotch tape deal !! Correct me if I'm wrong :)

      • Keldansmom

I agree….you should be able to use the $4 off each making it 99 cents for both…

      • Publix Chick

Pretty sure you can use one coupon per item, you should be able to use 2 coupons on this deal with no beeps.

      • Bamasaver

According to the “Almost Official Coupon Policies” Jenny has posted (in the upper right region of this page), CVS allows two MQs when they have a B1G1 sale.  So you are correct that you can use two, making them $0.99.

      • Crystal

        i'm wondering the same thing

      • Phatpatswife

100%, yes you can. The only time you can only use one coupon is when you are using a buy one get one coupon on an item.

    • ireneY

I bought a package of clearanced diapers about a year ago and just got a CVS Q for $3 off any $10 diaper purchase. Hopefully, those of you planning on stocking up on diapers will get the same Q from the red coupon machine!

      • Jbush27

        I hope I get it.

    • Dtcox

looks good for next week . will pick up a few items i need thanks jenny

    • Hmdandthc123

Can't wait for this ad.. This is one of the best ads that they have had in a long time! :)

    • Lovelyflowerpetals

QUESTION:  Both my mother and I have ecb cards and we go shopping together.  But she doesn't want anything this week but I do – she has some ecb's she's giving me, can I use her ecb's when I'm paying? Or are the ecb's card specific?  When the cashier scans them will they know they didn't come from my card?  Thanks guys!

      • Sunshinebabysite

Sorry, they are attached to the card, so you cannot use someone else's ecb (or email coupons, or coupons from the “magic” machine).

      • guest33

ECBs are linked to the cards.. you would have to have her card and do a seperate transaction.

      • yes the ecb go with the ECB card they were used on…so no you cant use hers with your card…but you could use hers with her card…if she's willing to to take a ride with ya to CVS  :O)

      • As far as I understand, they are card specific.

      • Lovelyflowerpetals

        Thanks everyone!

    • Jbush27

When I scanned my card yesterday I got a coupon for $3 off $10 first aid!  THis will go great with the first aid ecb deal!

      • Kimmy864

I got that coupon on Wednesday – but it was only good for one day only – 6/15/11

      • Yuliyaporter

I got that, too, but it said”one day only”, meaning I could only use  it  today…

        • Peggy

Last week, I was going right by CVS on Saturday.  I stopped by and got the $3 off $10 cosmetics coupon good for one day (expired the next day – Sunday).  Then I went to CVS and used it on Sunday for something that went on sale.

          • ireneY

Yes, hoping to do the same with this Saturday's first aid Q. Found some J&J $3/2 blinkies at Publix and $5/$20 Q in today's AJC, which should yield a great deal!

      • couponmom

Was it one day only?? Mine was so it wont work!

      • Anonymous

Got that one too – using it at a store that takes expired CVS coupons.

    • Lovelyflowerpetals

      Okay, thanks everyone!

    • LeAnn

When you reference “tear pad” coupons, like the ones for Stride gum, where do you usually see them? I've also seen reference to one for Vitamin Water and have never seen those before. Are they usually near that product, or on a display somewhere in the store? Thanks!

      • cvs lady

My experience shows they're usually near the product.  I found the Stride gum tearpad attached to a special gum display near the register at BiLo several weeks ago.  I've learned that whenever I see coupons, GRAB THEM because you never know when that item will go on sale and the item will be free.

        • LeAnn

          thank you!

    • AmyQ

Oh my goodness.. i think this will possibly be the largest CVS deal i've ever done! Especially excited about the formula and diapers deal.

      • AmyQ

Ok – here's my attack plan for next week. If someone finds a flaw in it, please let me know! This is certainly a larger plan for me, and I'm trying to spend the least OOP bc we're on a very strict budget for this month…

    • Sheila

I can't find the Maxwell House printable coupon using that link. Anyone find it?

    • Gofast67

any one know if there is a printable coupon for the 5 off 20 coupon this week that is in the paper help

    • Kimmy864

Just a heads up if anyone is interested – the two CVS stores that I have been to today in SC have had Nyquil products on clearance at 75% off.  I got two 10 oz bottles for $3.32.

    • luiza

The coupon for the scotch tape is a pdf and it looks sort of fake when printed. I wanted to be able to buy a couple of rolls for a big project but am a little wary…has anyone used this coupon successfully? I know I have seen it around for other deals. Thanks for replying.

      • Keldansmom

I have used it @ Walgreens without a problem!

      • Jjfdv

I have also used it at walgreens with no problem.

I used it at Walmart yesterday. The computer said it was invalid and didn't match my product, but the cashier said the names were the same so she took it.

      • Angelascoupons1

I've used it before without any problem – I think I used it at Walgreens

      • Henaomiller

Ive used them at Staples and wal mart no prob!

      • Emhcoupon

I tried to use it at walmart and it beeped. I told the cahsier not to worry about it and take the tape off. She pushed it through anyway. I won't use any more of these coupons b/c I feel they are fraud and don't feel comfortable with them. If it were real it should not have beeped. I bought the exact item. So I would not recommned it.

        • smommy

They are valid coupons.  Someone from another website actually called the company and verified that they are.

        • Carol_R

You can tell they are legit since they PDF is posted on the manufacturer's (3M) website.

      • couponingfor2

yes i used it at Walgreens several weeks back.

      • Crystal

It is actually on the http://www.scotchbrand.com website. Just search the site for coupons and they will appear. So it is a mfgr coupon.

    • oh fun fun fun times to be had at CVS next week :D  Thanks Jenny – You ROCK for getting the matchups up so early so that I can plan my trips before Sunday!

    • Coupongirl1203

yay! does anyone have a coupon for the $1off revlon? i'll trade! email me   coupongirl1203 gmail . com  thanks!! :):) i just need one…..

    • ReeReefl

Can anyone share their opinions on diaper brands?   I want to buy some for my friend who is expecting and I wasn't sure if one brand was better?

      • Chrissy

I have a 13 month old and I prefer Huggies for her. Either snug and dry or the supreme ones it doesn't matter but I don't like Pampers at all (since they added the drymax) . Hope that helps

        • couponmom

I love Target brand diapers they are awesome!  But before I found those I liked Pampers swaddlers for infants and then switched to Huggies! The Target are awesome though and they are cute have green adn blue polka dots1

      • Phatpatswife

I love Pampers over Huggies but I like both. I hate CVS diapers. They are horrible horrible diapers! Don't buy her those cause we bought some when they were on clearance at $3 and just threw them away they were so bad!

        • Stacyannw

i dont' mind the cvs diapers, if you have a baby in daycare they are good, becasue at most daycares they check the baby every hr and if they are even damp they change them, so i try to get a cheaper diaper that is still okay.

      • Inflower

I like pampers swaddlers or cruisers and huggies snugglers or movers. The pampers baby dry are terrible. The cheaper huggies are okay. Luvs is just as good as the best brands in my opinion. But as a gift most new moms would want the 1st choices. Target brand is the best generic and I only use their wipes.

        • Meg

I love Target wipes!! :) I don't know if it's still there, but a few days ago on Target's website, there was a 50c/1 up&up babycare item.

      • Rlb1

I am a Pampers fan, the Sensitive line is great. Very absorbant and fit like a glove. Great for little ones with sensitive skin. I also like the Cruisers from Pampers, but not as well. I agree with the first poster, the DryMax Pampers are cheap and not a good buy. Huggies are ok, they just don't fit my little one as well.

      • Jaregans

Pampers all the way!! I have experienced lots of accidents on my clothes with Huggies.

      • Couponlori

I personally like Huggies.  I have 2 in diapers.  They were sent home from the hospital with Pampers but I did not like the mesh lining in the Pampers, it stuck to their little bottoms and caused a rash.  Huggies has been our brand of choice for 2 yrs now.

      • Hope

I've tried all kinds and I think Pampers Baby Dry are the best, though Luvs are good too. The Huggies seem bulkier.

      • Nicole

I tried a lot of brands, but Pampers won me back every time.  However, when I tried the Members Mark brand (available only at Sam's Club), I gave up the expensive Pampers habit.  Member's Mark diapers were close enough to Pampers that I only used Pampers at night after that.  The less expensive Pampers line (Baby Dry?) was terrible, and I had a lot of leaks with Huggies.  For a new mom, Pampers would be my choice.

      • Alexusrydr

I think (after 2 kids) that when everything going in & coming out is liquid, get the premium diapers.  Huggies Supreme or Pampers (whatever is before the cruisers).  You get a few less diapers per pack but it is worth it.  I liked Pampers for day & Huggies for night.

      • Erica

I love huggies because they dont leak like pampers. Pampers are thinner.

      • Sweetnlowjess

I'm a mom of twins- boy and a girl and e are a Huggies family :-)  Pampers caused a rash on my daughter.  We've never had any problems with Huggies- Snug and Dry and Pure and Natural are my fav's.. and overnights for nighttime!  And Huggies Wipes are the best!

      • kristina

Pampers are the best by far! Three kids ages11,7,and 5months. Huggies swell up really bad and leak. My mother said she could never use pampers on me because  I would break out, but my children have never had a problem with these. I have recently bought the wags new and improved brand and they are really soft like pampers, waiting to see if they hold up well. HTH.

      • Beepampered

I always thought the Walmart brand was the best buy and good enough quality. As a new mom, I would prefer a bigger size. My kids were born bigger than the newborn size calls for so we had diapers they couldn't even wear – what a waste. Even Size 1 is something they grow out of very quickly. My kids were in Size 3 for a long time so that's what I would recommend – no matter what the brand.

Of course, a hot meal, homemade baked goods or a foot massage would have been greatly appreciated too:)

      • tina

i used huggies for 7 months but now i use wags brand they r great i love them at 2.99 a pack right now u ant beat it :)

      • i used pampers in the beginning and then huggies- we used the cheapest ones- no supreme or anything and then switched to cloth. my son never had a problem with any. i would say buy them when you can get them dirt cheap! and bigger sizes. my son never fit in new born sizes and was in size 3s right away for a long time. as a new mom, she will appreciate any i am sure! i buy whenever i can get them dirt cheap to make gifts for my pregnant friends!!

      • We cloth diapered but when we HAD to use disposables, we liked Pampers.

      • Westwind78

Target all the way! Very inexpensive and work just as well as pampers or huggies for me. I have 2 kids in them now. Luvs works just as well for us too.

      • Kittie

When my daughter was in the hospital (4 months) they used Pampers.  A little while after she got home I used some Huggies someone had given me, and she got a diaper rash.  As long as we used Pampers, no problems, so those are my favorite!

      • Anonymous

I don’t really have any brand loyalty but I’ve found the best sales are on Huggies. We use Up and Up (Target) if there are no sales on anything else. Both work fine for us. (We use cloth most of the time though).

    • sassysaver

I received a coupon for 30% off my entire purchase.  Is this a single use coupon or may it be used multiple times?

      • Nicole

Single use — the cashier will take it like a coupon.

      • Debhof821

Single use…but it is not good towards sale or discounted items. I had a 33% off one but it was very limited for what I could use it for.

    • Stacyannw

go to iheartcvs and you can find a printable one, you have to kind of mess with the size to get it to print though

    • Steph4christ

Okay, I have a CVS card, Ive never understood how the credit back works. do they give you a voucher or what? can someone explain to me how this works?

      • Phatpatswife

At the top of the page on the right there is a link you can click on for getting started at cvs. It will explain everything for you.

      • Bauercandace

But yes, it prints at the bottom of your reciept for you.

    • Bkny63

If you were lucky enough to add the $2 GUM periobalance on SavingStar, that's a money maker next week.  It's sold out now.

    • Katkoupon

Savingstar has a $2 coupon for GUM periobalance, valid only at cvs.

    • smarie

I am new so forgive me if this sounds stupid.  I am confused.  Under any particular item there are coupons listed.  Some items- like the above scotch tape- there are multiple coupons listed… like 7.  The value of all of them together is way over the cost of a roll of scotch tape.  Do I need to have all of the listed coupons to get the deal?  Or does Jenny list them all and I just use what I have to get the best price?

      • MomOf4

She lists all of the available coupons out there, but you can only use one per item.  So just pick the one that works best for you :)

      • Mel_Jolley

Just use the one you have for that item to get the best price. Stacking mfc's is not allowed. HTH

      • Guest

Jenny lists all available coupons and use whichever one you have.

    • Melissa

Went to CVS today and the 2 liter Coca Cola Products are $0.79 each Limit 5

    • yortski

Does anyone know if there's a specific zip code for the CVS coupon for Wrigley's Extra gum?  I don't see it.

    • instantphoebe

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet (apologize if someone has), but the Glade Starter Kit printable no longer works.

    • jessica

i just redeemed a coupon for a free pack of energy protein bites yestarday that bites but will get this again since its free after ecb and the magic coupon machine gave me a 4.50 on any boxed diapers and 1.00 off wipes as well so great addition to sale

      • i got that too!! wasnt it just for pampers though? which is okay since pampers box diapers are $20 in the deal with spend $25, get 10 ECB back. makes an even sweeter deal. oh, and we got a 30% off coupon in the mail too! wonder if i can stack them!!!

    • Brooke

If I received formula “checks” in the mail (they say pay to the order of formula retailer”) do those count as coupons or can I still use another manufacture coupon? I'm assuming the checks will go into the computer like cash and it might depend on the cashier?

      • Paige

I don't know about CVS but at another store my friend used 3 of the “checks” because they really are checks and then used a coupon with them too.  It should work at CVS too.

        • JLM Mom

If they are redeeming them as coupons, the cashier is redeeming them incorrectly.  The store will be reimbursed much more quickly/efficiently if they are 'cashed' as checks.  Therefore, there is no reason not to use a coupon in your transaction!  :)  Happy Couponing!

      • Julie

You use them just like money. Just be sure to give your coupons first because once they start running those checks the register won't let them scan any more coupons. I learned that one the hard way :(

    • Sabrinawest03

Can you use all ECBs on one transaction or do they make it one ECB per order?

      • cs

you can use them all on one

      • 'cs' is right… u can! thougth u may want a second yes!

    • Thanks! I love shopping at CVS

    • Sabrinawest03

Thanks for the info – hope all goes well – looks like I have it worked out with ECBs and coupons to get 25 items (including Gatorades and 12pk Cokes and Razors) for less than $1 each – not a bad day at the office ladies :))

    • MaysonD

There is a $2 off ANY Aveeno coupon on Recyclebank for 100 pts. I had enough points saved up to print 5, so

      5 Aveeno @ $5.50 = $27.50
      – $5/20 coupon (purchased on ebay for $0.99)
      – (5) $2.00
      = $12.50
      – $11.00 ecb from last week

$1.50 oop and get $10 ecb back!

Since I'm due with #2 in August, this is an AWESOME deal!

      Love CVS!

      • Chasityc1984

How do you get so many recyclebank points? I am stuck at 185 and can't seem to get anymore!

        • MaysonD

We are part of the community recycling program, so we get lots of points! I also recycle my ziploc and kashi boxes and bags, which are offers on the site. We got some points under the “Green your home” challenge too!

      • Bryarsmom

I'd be curious to know who would be selling the CVS Q's

        • Guest

They're linked to your card and not supposed to work.  They beep when they get scanned.

          • Amy

You are mistaken. Many CVS stores offer coupons that do not have unique codes to their customers. Mine sometimes gives these to people who fill a prescription. Those coupons are like the ones in the newspaper – they can be used on any card. The ones that print from CVS approved e-mails and the red coupon machine are linked to your card.

        • MaysonD

You can just search “CVS coupon” on ebay and there are about 10 different sellers. You can buy 1, or you can buy 5. And you can “Buy it now” or bid on the auction. I typically buy 1 or 2 a week for $0.99 and it saves me up to $10.00 in the store. They are emailed to you instantly and I’ve never, ever had a problem with any of them “beeping.” They work just fine.

    • Kcreviews

A tip for you who have a 24-hour CVS–call them on Sat. night and ask if they have their Sun. ad loaded into the cash registers yet and then GO ON SAT.! I went last Sun. afternoon and most of the things I was going to buy for the gas card deal were already sold out! How disappointing, especially since I don't want the stuff that's in this week's gas deal. My CVS wasn't very apologetic, either, after I went back there today seeing if they had restocked. Nope.

      • Davahodges

I usually go at midnight if I go

      • Shannon TJ

If they're sold out, ask for rain checks. They'll honor hem, plus the incentive, with no expiration. I sometimes purposefully go in later in the week knowing that they'll be out and collect the RCs so I have the promo locked in for future use.

        • Sarah

yea unless your coupon is about to expire, because sometimes they can take a really long time to get items restocked

          • FreedomSpradley1

Most all coupons run on a cycle so get the rain check, let the coupon expire and wait for the coupon to come out in future inserts.  I've done this a lot and it's quite productive!  Even if it takes a month or so to get the next coupon you will have no problem finding the item on the shelf at that point.

          • Mary1day

Our manager lets me pay for it and then I pick it up when they get more in.I’ve done this several times.

    • Lindsey A Clay

If you have a 24 hr CVS and go in at Midnight will the Sunday sales have started or do they wait til Sunday morning?

      • jed123

As a previous employee, since they have to put the sale tags up the night before (in the 24 hour stores) for next weeks sale, but still technically have the week before's sale going on until Saturday at midnight… at least at MY store, BOTH sales would happen simultaneously from 6pm on starting Saturday!!

        • Prsol

My CVS has an overlap beginning at 10PM on Saturday. I would check with the manager and go from there. :)

      • Bryarsmom

Our Sun deals are loaded by 5pm Sat.

    • ks3

Can you use Walgreens Catalina coupons at CVS?

      • Thuggiebear

I've never had any problems with it since it has a barcode.  Although it says “redeem at Walgreens only”, CVS took the coupon with a smile!  :)

        • ks3

Thanks!  I have a $5 off Pampers that will make the diapers an even better deal!

      • wow, i didnt know that! thats so great!

    • Kgetche0

There is a $1.00 of any Colgate Advanced toothpaste is SS 6/12 as well.

    • Mleach83

I'm confused! How do I spend the least out of pocket next week and still get diapers? I'm struggling on how to set up
My transactions. I only get coupons from the news paper and some printables. I have a 4 ecb from this week I can use. Can somebody help
      Me out!?

      • Thuggiebear

It really depends on what coupons you have.  For example, I have a $2 off coupon for Cheez-its.  Cheez-its are $2 this week plus, you get an ECB.  In essance, I will recieve a free box of cheez-its and get an ECB that I can put towards my diapers.  I make that one transaction.  Next transaction, I use her scenario, since I also have the coupons she listed for the wipes and diapers.  I still spend $24 to purchase the items; however, in return I get 10 ecbs.  Now, I have 11 ecbs in my account.  I get the Huggies and some gerber baby food (since I have both a toddler and infant in the house).  I have $2 off couon for that as well as the BOGO for the food.  My 11 ecbs will net me a free pack of Huggies, an ECB and  3 free gerber baby foods (I'll probably owe a few pennies for tax).  By breaking the transactions down, I get more free stuff.

    • BdaJda06

Does anyone know what to click on to get the coupon for Maxwell House coffee.  I couldn't figure out where to find it.  Thanks

    • this is my 1st time on this site… a friend told me about it! im so excited and relieved… all the deals i used to stay up til 2am trying to compile are all right here! where the heck have i been the last 2 years (to not have known about this site)?????

      • tarabj

    • Dorkandshorty04

Is the john frieda deal still going on? Every time I have been to CVS they dont have a thing but thats not the point I still have the 5.00 q and would love to get that stuff for free.

      • Lam_tana

You can just get a raincheck and use it later.  I believe they will even give the the ECB with it.  That is what I am doing today :)

      • PublixMoneyMaker

Not sure if you are a Publix shopper or not, but if you are the JF Full Repair can be a money maker (provided Target is a comp.).  I bought tw Full Repair products for 5.49 each, used two man q's for $5/1, and a 3/2 Full Repair Target coupons (which can be printed from their website).  I made $2 just for purchasing shampoo and conditioner.  I used the $2 to offset the items which I did not have coupons for (meat, bread, produce, etc…).  Good luck!

    • Sarah

gosh, I wish I could like kashi cereal…but I dont think I could eat it even if it were free..tastes like cardboard to me :( lol

      • Lorrose57

Ahh..you have not tried the new Kashi Go Lean… sort of like Just Bunches… I actually mix it with Special K because it has too much fiber…. we are on the Joy Bauer diet and she says it is too caloric…so we mix it… (have always done that with the kids cereals to trick them into eating at least half of something healthy…)

        • Kerry72nc

My BF and I will put some of the Go Lean in our yogurt for some added taste.

      • Jcwiakala_44

Just a suggestion…I use the kashi cereal that looks like twigs.  But I grind it up and use it as breadcrumbs.  It works great as a coating for chicken and then baked.  Lots of fiber and tastes as close to fried chicken as you can get without actually frying it!

        • Sarah

cool idea! yea that twig one always looked like the food they give hamsters LOL

      • Bryarsmom

Folks and myself  here in our office love any Kashi product…we go thru alot of the cereal.
I'm so glad we have more and more good-tasting whole grain products these days.

      • Michelle

I only really like the GoLean Crunch but man do I love it.

      • Anonymous

The heart shaped kind is better than Cheerios!

    • Amanda Leach

Do the deals for the same items reset each week? I bought the Pantene deal a couple of weeks ago and they have the same one…I’m wondering if i’d still be able to get this deal.

    • Francine

Concerning the Reinventing Beauty Magazine Coupons. Read the fine Print!
Some are manufacturer coupons and some are CVS coupons. The Colgate Gum Defense and Irish Spring CVS coupons for next week are “Limit one coupon per customer.” So (depending on the store) you can't use two of the same CVS coupons in the same transaction, but you should be able to stack with a manufacturer's coupon.

      • Ssalabarria

Where do you get the magazine from?

        • Raynesmw

Look for it either up at the beauty counter or front reg. They are 99 cents I think.

      • Sue

where can one find the Reinventing Beauty Magazine? :)

      • Amy

True, the register beeps like a crazy person if I use two RIB CVS coupons in the same transaction. They usually push it through since I shop with another person for care-taking purposes and they her as a second customer. Totally YMMV though.

        • Amy

*they consider her to be a second customer.

    • I have a $5 off Pampers register coupon that printed at Wag. It says manufacturer coupon, though. Can I use this at CVS??

      • Raynesmw

You should be able to. I have used Food Lion catalinas that say manufacturer coupon before.

      • Carmen S.

Yes, I did that a couple of weeks ago.

      • tarabj

I used those at CVS as well.

    • Raynesmw

On recyclebank, I could only print 1 Kashi. I hit the back button like everyone normally does, but it didn't work. So heads up on that. Got 2 on the tea though.

      • Michelle

You have to purchase each coupon on RB with points earned by doing environment related activities. The Kashi are 125pts so you need 250pts for two of them.

        • Sean

That was what I thought.  When I tried to get the second, it said I was only allowed one a month!  Great reward system.

    • Jen B.

There is a Upromise $2 coupon for the GUM perio balance (at CVS only), I think it is the same product as the one listed.

    • Mirwhite1

Can  2 people in a househod get 2 CVS cards, I have a CVS card in my husband's name, can I get one in my name and use it when items are limited to 1 or 2?

      • Beth

I believe you can only have one per household which is defined by address.  you can get a 2nd card if you have a 2nd address.  I got a 2nd card using my mother-in-laws home – she is not a CVS shopper but is glad for me to use her address and “her” card.  If something comes on sale that she likes or needs, I get it for her. most weeks, I use the card for limited items.

      • Keatonfamily

My husband went by CVS this week and asked just that.  They said every adult in the household could have his/her own card, so he got one.

        • Mirwhite1

      • tonia

I have one and my husband has one. The only catch is you have to keep the ECB's seperate because they won't accept them for each others card. I usually do one or the other because it gets so confusing.

        • Mounit98

On the ECB coupon….it tells you the last 4 digits of the card number that you used. That should help to avoid confusion when trying this. Thats what I do =)

          • Mirwhite1

    • mrs. b

Remember – Per CVS coupon policy…you CANNOT use 2 coupons on a B1G1 free item. Only if the item is B1G1 half off. CVS states they cannot give you moneyt off a free item. But, you may get lucky and get a cashier that does not know that. In the long run, the more we try to beat the system, the more we will get hurt in the end and they will become even more stricter. Please be a courteous couponer and follow the policies.

      • Helenbarnes04

per ther q policies two manufacturer coupons can be used on a buy one get one free purchase as long as two items are scanned at the register.  The system logic sees two items scanned and will allow two coupons.

        • Keatonfamily

Yep, according to the policy as I understand it, you can use 2 coupons.  Also, this week it let me use a BIGI coupon and a 75 cent off coupon when buying the Degrees that were on sale (I bought 2).  I wasn't sure if I could, but the manager (who happened to be working the register) said it was fine–the B1G1 coupon took money off for one and the 75 cent took money off for the other.  It scanned fine.

      • Sheila

Maybe you're thinking of the new Rite Aid policy?  As far as I know CVS is one of the stores left that WILL accept a mfc on each item in a B1G1 sale.

        • You can still use 2 dollar/cents off coupons on a B1G1 free deal at both RA and CVS, you just cannot use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale at RA.  At CVS you can still use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale.

        • Mounit98

My Rite aid honored a B1G1 Free coupon and let me use another coupon for the other item. Maybe she didnt realize….

    • Happy Feet

this weeks Eb's is overwhelming… Please post some of your sanerio's … so we can learn… thanks! :o)

    • Shelliebaum

The red coupon machine printed a $2 off Huggies wipes yesterday! Makes the diaper deal even sweeter!

when do your limits reset? I bought the colgate tothpaste last week and it says limit reached. Can I buy the colgate toothbrushes this week and get the ecbs?

      • Mounit98

You would have to wait until the new sales week so your limit is not reached. Some stores start late Saturday.

    • Misbarcar

I got a great $4.50 off a big box of pampers diapers out of the coupon machine. This will be great for this sale.

      • tarabj

Me too! So excited. Almost makes missing the 99 cent Pepsi worth it.

    • Couponcoupon1980

I can't find the CVS printable for adult underpants. Would love to get these for grandma since they are usually so expensive. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?

      • ireneY

I don't think they're available anymore. I'm always looking for my dad. Send for samples from Tena and Depends; they come with coupons.

    • Mistyrichardson25

Will a coupon for $1 off Sally Hansen lip or nail treatment work on nail polish?  I know that may sound like a silly question, but I wasn't sure if polish was considered a treatment or it refers to an actually treatment product.

      • Shannonw1983

i think it would , you might want to try it

    • vacationfree

THANKS for the gas card alert with $30 purchase, took advantage of that!

    • Msfmarktng

I don't see the Chex Mix as part of the Gas Promotion on this week's flyer on Facebook.  Is it different for different parts of the country?  I am in the Washington, DC market.

    • Glenda

I am a fairly new couponer, maybe 6 weeks or so!!  I do not have any children in diapers and I have been tossing my diaper and baby related coupons.  Now that I know the value of coupons I cant do it anymore.  I dont have many right now, but I do have the ones from last Sunday’s paper.  I am in Zebulon, NC.  If you are in Wendell, Zebulon, or Knightdale and would like my diaper and baby related coupons please email me.  gmantych@nc.rr.com  I will be happy to start saving them for you.

      • Amber

Hi Sarah! If no one responds to your offer, try leaving those coupons on the shelf with the items. Someone will find them and be thankful…you might just be their answered prayer!

        • Amber

Oops…that was to Glenda, not Sarah. Sorry!

    • Eaw201

Can I use a catalina coupon printed at Harris Teeter for the Playtex tampons at CVS? Can it be combined with a CVS coupon? The catalina says “Redeem at Harris Teeter”…does this mean ONLY at HT?

      • tarabj

If it has a manufacturer's barcode (starts with a 5) and says “manufacturer's coupon” on it, then most CVS's will take it.

    • Lizzie

Where is the 5 count Zyrtec with $5.99 ECB listed on this ad? I didn't see it.

      • Bhingst

That is on this weeks ad.

    • Dianna

I wonder when they will run another Charmin deal…….I need one of the $10 ecb WYB $25 in P&G products!

      • Angelareid821

    • Chancey

Is it the 24 hour stores that start their deals on saturday or the ones that arent?  Does anyone know?

      • Emily

Check with your local store, they are all different. My 24 hr. CVS ad starts at midnight on Sunday. The non-24 hour stores some start at 4 or 6 on Saturday for most. It just depends.

    • Jan

What is the Reinventin Beauty Magazine?  Is it one that you buy or is it free? And where do you find it?

      • Deecope

The magazine is sold in store. Its only 99 cents an issue and well worth the cost due to the value of the coupons inside it.

    • DorkandShorty04

Ok so I dont really have a lot of money to spend so every penny counts…I would like to do the baby deal thing and it says you have to spend 25 dollars to get the 10 ECB. Well I guess my question is does it still count if you have manf. Qs like stated above(1.50 + .50) plus the 4 dollars off 20 dollars or more? which I just received today. Or will it not work?

      • Christy

It will still work! $25 BEFORE coupons : )

      • TJ

Yes, it will work.  Just make sure you have twenty five dollars worth of stuff before ecbs/coupons.  The first coupon you should hand them at checkout is the 4 off 20, then the rest.

    • Sarah

not sure if this would be worth it or not, but beside the bayer advanced coupon there is a “try me free”  rebate form, so you could send it in and get the purchase price-coupon price so a dollar back..but half of that would be the cost of a stamp so who knows!

      • Sarah

oops, meant that for last weeks ad sorry (wish there was delete option on here haha)

      • coolcoupondude

keep the postal service working! i'm a mail carrier

    • Emp21

I would like to know if at CVS you need to have 1 item per ECB?  In other words, do you need filler items like at walgreens?

      • Stacyannw

no you do not need filler items, ecb are like cash except you cant use them on tax

        • Emp21

          Ok, Thanks!

      • Pcwaterlady

      • Ckjohnson

No, at CVS you can as many ECB's as needed for each item. No fillers needed.

      • Saveamymoney

No, ECB spend just like cash. They are much easier to use than RR at Walgreens.

    • Casey

This is probably a stupid question but can you use (5) $1 off honest tea coupons from recyclebank and get all five free and get back $2 in ECBs? Or is there a limit?

      • Mel

I have done it that way, asked the manager first and he said it was ok.

    • Stacyannw

I have a question if i dont have my card on me and i don't know the phone number its attached to can i just give them the number on the card.

      • Susan

      • Brandi

But also remember you can't use your phone number on the Magic Machine to get CRT's when you walk in the door.

    • JTTLC

I have a question…..If the store is out of something that has ECB attached and I get a raincheck how does the ECB works?  Will they give me that or do I just get the sales price when I go back to get it when they have it in stock?

      • Susan

You get the sale price and extra bucks.  They have to manually print them at the register, though, after the transaction using a code that someone should write on your raincheck when it is issued.

        • Nurse

She's right! Just did that this AM.

          • Make sure they write the EBC as well as the sale price on the rain check.

    • Angelascoupons1

Did anyone get these prints today: from the red coupon machine, I got $3 extra care bucks when I scanned my card. When I checked out, at the bottom of my receipt was a “$5 ecb when you spend $10”. I was thrilled, given that I missed out on the $.99 soda deal the day before b/c I couldn't get the coupon to print!

    • Blake

Would someone let me know what Sweetbay is and how does Recycle Bank work?  It doesn't seem to want to open up for me.

      • Kristin

I have problems with Recycle Bank if I use any browser but Internet Explorer.  HTH

    • Debcortes

I just got the $4 off $20 coupon and was able to print it twice can I use both or only one? Please if anyone can let me know I'm new to all of this. TIA

      • Patydt06

only one ,because the barcode is the same …

    • danielle

Just a heads up, I looked at the add on the CVS website, I dont think the B1G1 Q for Powerbars are going to work on the ones you get ECBs.  There are 2 photos side by side, one showing powerbars that are B2G1 and the other showing Powerbar Bites that are $2.49 and you get $2.49 ECB back.

      • Jordan

You are correct – my store flips their ads on Saturdays so I have already shopped next week's ad.  The powerbar energy that is on sale are the energy BITES, not the bars.  The coupon for the triple threat energy bar will not work.

      • Brandi

I was coming here to post this as well. I'm in agreement with your realization. :)

    • aria

Can I use somebody else's ECB's when I m shopping with my card?
      Thanks in advance

      • Laura Smith

No, The ECB Is linked to the card that was used to earn it.  On the bottom of the ECB it will show the last 4 numbers of the card used.  Sorry….

      • Dennymarshall59

some of my cashiers will let me and some won't you can try :)

    • Katandmike

which cvs's in the Columbia, SC area carry the reinventing beauty magazine…I can't seem to find it.

      • Cluckie

I saw it at the CVS on the corner of Clemson Rd./Sparkleberry Rd..  You might want to call to see if they have it in stock.  Saw it last week.

      • they have them at my lexington CVS.

    • Rhb1234

I work at a cvs an in my store there is a magazine rack near te makeup that has that magazine. I distance even know we carried it at frat. I'm not sure how your store is set up but maybe try there if not ask the store manager they should know :) hoped that helped!

    • Sean

I noticed an ecoupon for G-U-M Periobalance lozenges at SavingsStar.  It was for $2 off.  So make sure you have it activated if you plan on buying them this week.

      • Olemissmoss

No longer available on SavingStar. Sold Out.

    • Mcdon212

Are ECB items considered on sale? I want to use a 30% off coupon  and it excludes sale items. . The items i want to buy have ecb's back after purchase but are not on sale themselves. Thanks

      • amy

This is a good question does anyone know the answer……if ECB items are considered on sale?  If not, we could use the 30% off coupons.

        • Mglummer

I used it yesterday on ECB items that were not on sale (just ECB)  So the answer is yes

      • Keatonfamily

Most ECB items are also marked down, so they are on sale.  If they are not marked down, I've been able to use the 30% off in the past.  This seems to vary, though, store by store.

    • Farrahwright

How do I get the reinventing beauty magazine?

      • Wsult3

I found mine on a shelf in the cosmetics area. I'm sure if you ask up front, they can tell you where they are. The cost is 99 cents.

      • Darla

I found them in the magazine section.  Make sure you look at the expiration dates of the coupons.  The magazine costs .99 at our store.

      • Michelle

I just found 2 at mine……the last ones. They were sitting on a shelf type thing in cosmetics and there were also a bunch of coupons for other items sitting there as well

      • I've been looking forever, and I finally found some today at one of the CVS stores I visited. I hear t hat they can be anywhere, but at this store they had them right underneath the newspaper rack. HTH! :-)

    • Samplesfun

I am little confused. Cant we buy 4 lipton teas with free q from fb and get 1 ecb back?

      • Stacyannw

you can do that, i am not sure if you can use more than 1 coupon per transaction, but as long as you use them in the week you will get your 1ecb

    • GA girl

This may be a silly question, but how many of you actually do multiple transactions at CVS?  I guess I'm paying more OOP, but there is always a line 4-5 people deep behind me, no matter what time I go, and I just can't take too long.  So I only do two transactions tops, and I usually pay 30.00 +/- OOP, with more ECBs left  over for next week.

      • Diana

you can always get finish with your transaction and then go to the back of the line to finish if you feel you are taking too much time.  I have done that before as a courtesy to other customers when it gets busy. I don't think most people mind if you do 2 as long as you don't have a bizillion items, but then I think we all need to get in the line again and respect everyone's time.  Just makes it less stressful for everyone.

      • gardengirl

I do one transaction and use all the ECB's I have from last weeks transaction instead of doing multiples each week.  My OOP was more for my very first transaction but I don't think I'm paying more now doing just one transaction since I'm using all the ECB's from last week.

      • Im the same as you…I cant stand to do multiple transactions because i feel its inconsiderate and i cant stand people to stare at me. LOL. I understand the thought of it all, to help you save the MOST money but i found myself  being glad i didnt do that for a reason this week. I did a deal last week, getting the Zyrtec, Bayer and Motrin and got back $15.99 in ECB…When i found myself getting low on money this week and over my grocery budget but my daughter needed diapers and wipes my husband hadnt gotten paid yet, i was able to go and get her a pack of diapers and 2 packs of wipes for $.34! The diapers were $8.99 and I had a $1.50 coupon and the CVS wipes were B1G1 at $1.89…So i used $10 in ECB and paid $.34 OOP. And still got back $1 ECB from the diapers. Plus the $5.99 from last week….So greatful!

      • If I have enough ECBs, then I just do it all in one to save myself time and stress. But quite often I will have make my purchases in multiple transactions, because I really need to keep my OOP cost down. If there's nobody around, then I'll do them back to back. If there is a line forming, I just complete one transaction and then move to the back of the line. The cashiers are usually really surprised to see this. I've had several of them tell me that I don't need to move to the back of the line, but I prefer to do it that way to be courteous to other customers. (Which saves the cashier stress too, I'm sure.)

    • JennyL

here is a link for $1 off coupon for wheat thins stix from their facebook page.  Enjoy!

    • Diana

How do you get the Maxwell House $1.00 q?  I can't find anything on that drops of good site.  HELP!!!!  THANKS!

    • Amber

Here's a lil' CVS tip if you have time to do it…

I have a green bag tag (for every 4th time you make a purchase and scan it, it gives you a dollar ECB…so in my head, I think of it as 25 cents off each time I have it scanned.) Since you can only scan the green tag once a day, I have started doing my transactions in separate days.

The downside to this is sometimes the items go out of stock before you get to them all. And of course, the time factor of going several days in a row instead of just once. But I have a CVS outside my neighborhood and I'm a teacher off for the summer, so I've got the time :).

My green tag has more than paid for itself. I think I have 18 scans, so it's made me $4.50 so far.

      • Cluckie

Not sure how accurate this is, but I've been told every time you start your car it is estimated that it costs over $0.25 .  That was years ago, so it is probably more now.  I think this is costing you in the long run!

        • Mom of 4

I've done the same as Amber…. but I don't make special trips…. I stop in on my way to/from work… So I needed to spend that $0.25 to start my car for a different reason, might as well get it back from CVS… Keep at it Amber =)

      • I totally cant find my bag tag….! I got one for free when there was that whole deal…Its somewhere with my raincheck for the Suave that was on sale along with my Suave coupons attached…Ugh!

        • renamac

I have one of those cute hard cover photo books that snaps shut I keep all of
My rainchecks cvs buck wags RR and discount cards along with my
Green bag tag , and my Target 5 gift cards in it.
Slips right into my purse and no more wondeing
          Where all that stuff is.
Maybe doing something like this will help you.

      • Stacyannw

and just fyi, you can scan your card 1 time per day per store and you will get credit for each store, so if you go to more than 1 cvs store you can get more than one green tag scan

        • Jjfdv

My card would not scan at 2nd cvs because it was scanned at another cvs that same day.

        • Guest

I don’t believe this is true.  The greebag tag only scans once per day.

    • Confused

I was trying to print the $3 off Red Cross product coupon and it says my browser doesn't support it. I use Firefox and that is listed as a supported browser so I don't know what the problem is. I haven't had an issue until the last couple of days. It did the same thing with another coupon. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?? Thanks.

      • susan

I can't use firefox for printing coupons.  I only am able to use Explorer.  You may want to consider it just for printing.

        • Confused

          Ok, thanks. I'll try that.

      • Michelle

I have been having a problem on my Mac that I also use Firefox on…I literally couldn't print much of anything..Very annoying. I happen to have a laptop and have been using that instead. I hope they fix the problem. Are you using a Mac also?

        • Confused

No, I'm not on a Mac…I tried Google Chrome and it said I'd printed the coupon the number of times allowed. I never printed one. Lovely.

          • Michelle

Yes that is what what happening to me also….Then tried my Windows computer..I just tested it on Firefox on my laptop and it worked…But on Firefox on my Mac none will work. I have no idea :( Sorry Its frustrating when that happens.

            • Confused

It is SO frustrating. Good for you having a second comp to use though. :)

      • Shannon Cunningham

Sometimes if I copy the address and paste it into my Safari browser it will work.  Hope that helps!

    • Coupon newbie

Can someone explain this Savingstar coupons?  I know the coupons go directly to your stores card and that you get a payout at a later date.  Has anyone had sucess with these coupons and are the considered manufactures or store coupons?  For example can they be combined with any other coupons?

      • Mommaof1

They aren't physical coupons so you can still use whatever coupons you want and as long as you buy the items that you have activated the coupon for in your profile then it adds that value to your account.

      • Kristin S.

I already had $5.50 deposited into my bank account from savingstar through paypal and I currently have another $6.00 waiting to be deposited.  What an easy way to coupon on top of coupons!  Love it!

      • Danyeln

The store has no idea about them at all.  SO you can use any store/manufacturer coupons you are allowed.  The SavingStar coupon has no direct effect on your transaction except that the store lets them know you bought the required item.  My first purchase at CVS using a SavingStar coupon took about 2 weeks to apply to my account.  Apparently some stores take a little longer to show up on your account.

    • Destiny691966

I just went to CVS a while ago and got a John Frieda Shampoo and conditioner, used my 5 dollar off coupons, paid 70 cents out of pocket, got my $3 ECB PLUS MY $5 beauty card reward.  I LOVE CVS!!!!

    • Michelle

I just noticed the reinventing beauty book has 2 different coupons for Colgate…One just says $1.00 off any Colgate Total Toothpaste and the other is $1.00 off and Colgate Total Gum defense toothpaste….They are both CVS coupons. Can I buy 2 of the sale toothpastes and Use both CVS coupons and 2 $1.00 off Manufacturer coupons also???? That just sounds too good to be true?? lol

      • jhoran

Yes, you can use 1 cvs coupon with 1 manu. coupon. You can buy the two toothpastes, but I would suggest buying one at a time since the cvs coupon says limit one per customer. Also, 1.00 off any Colgate Total is for any of the “colgate total” line, and the Colgate Total Gum is specifically for the colgate total gum.

        • Michelle

TY very much…I wasn't sure. Great deal on those!!! :)

          • Ladybugpam

only if you do it in 2 transactions because the CVS coupon states “one per customer” and the register will beep if you try to use 2 in 1 transaction.  HTH!

            • FreedomSpradley1

These are different coupons so you should be able to use both the Colgate coupons from Rein. Beauty Mag and two manufacturer coupons in one transaction if you are buying two products.  You couldn’t use two like CVS coupons in one transaction but these coupons are not alike.

            • FreedomSpradley1

    • Susan

If there is a sale at CVS B1G1, can you use 2 coupons or just 1 since only one scans?

      • Two coupons…One for each item.

      • Sunshinebabysite

You can use two, both items scan, you get one free from the store promotion, but you are still “purchasing” two in the manufacturer's eyes.

      • Shelly

Personally, I have never had two coupons on a B1G1 work.  Mine will only take the B1G1 OR the two dollar off coupons…not both.  I don't wanna argue with them, especially since the register isn't taking it and it's not the cashier's fault the register doesn't honor their own coupon policy.

      • Dawna

my cvs wouldn't let me use 2 coupons for B1G1  :(

    • Patricia miller

hello I just started  on here and i  was trying to print out the coupon for the adult underware and protectiv pads and i could not find them i would love to get them for the lady i take care of .
evry time i try to print it just takes me to the cvs coupons but they are not on there.
any help that would be great.
oh i love this site it is wounderful.
      thank you much .

      • Brandi

Those Q's may be out of prints now. When Jenny posts the match-ups on Thursday, the Q's are there but pretty sure she can't guarantee they will be there any time thereafter. Hope you can eventually find them. Maybe keep checking back in case they reset the print limits??

    • Alishaterrillion

Can anyone else not find the Revlon coupon in SS 4/10?

      • Amy

I never have the Revlon coupons in the Richmond, VA paper.

    • Kristine

Where do you get the CVS reinventing beauty magazine?

      • nancy

it should be in the front by the cashiers but they hardly ever have any

      • Singfanfree

      • Guest

I usually find them randomly placed in the cosmetics section.

    • Amanda

Check your CVS.  Today I got bottles of Dayquil and Nyquil on closeout for 1.37 a bottle!

      • Bri

I picked up the duo box of dayquil/niquil sinex liquicaps for $3.37 on closeout. There were a lot of deals like that throughout the store.

    • I'm wondering if I can get the Pantene deal even though I got the Pantene deal a couple weeks ago…My receipt is still showing that I met the deal so I'm wondering….

      • Sunshinebabysite

Yes, the deals reset each week.

      • Cayoung_8

depends on if it's a weekly deal or a monthly deal..  if it's a monthly deal then nope…

    • Angela

I am l little new at this but on the Schick razors wouldn't that be .99 for both if they are 8.99 b1g1 use 2 4.00 off.. or am I looking wrong?

      • Sunshinebabysite

Yes, you should be able to use 2 $4 coupons

      • cs

the .49 or whatever is per one

      • Jackie Wilson35

went 3 hours ago. got 2 razors and used 2 $4 coupons and got back 4 ecbs  wonderful day!!!!

      • Nyrdrms

Where do you get the $4.00 off coupon?

    • couponcrzy

Help!!!  I have 2 coupons for .75 cents off of any Colgate toothbrush (excluding Colgate Plus & Colgate Extra Clean) will this work for the Colgate 360 toothbrush deal??

      • ayhendry

Yep! That's the one I used on a similar deal last week.

    • SavingStar has a $1.00 off Oceanspray  64 oz CVS Only, that could be used toward the Gas Promotion

    • Scanned my card at the Coupon Center yesterday when I went in and got a $5 off $10 or more coup that is good through Monday. WOOP! I plan on purchasing the tape (which i needed today), the Hershey's and the Pantene, using coupons for each, plus the $5 off $10 and $6.99 in ECB and paying $.13! Plus getting back $7.99 ECB.

      • Angelascoupins1

I got this one too! What a great surprise!

    • TIGER06157

I went to my local CVS tonight to shop the deals that start tomorrow.( I called first to make sure they start the new deals Sat. night).  All of the deals I tried worked except for one.  I bought $25 worth of Neutrogena products (1 sunscreen and 1 foundation) but I didn't get the $10 ECB I should have earned. Instead it gave me the 2 for $20 sale price that was going on until the 18th.  It doesn't even show on my reciept that I earned $20 towards the deal.  I left the store before I realized it.  Should I go back tomorrow and try to get the ECB's or should I just leave it alone?

    • Danyeln

When both sales are in effect the register gives you the better of the two offers.  Since the register does not count ECBs as part of that, they decided that 2 for $20 was a better deal for you than full price and getting your ECBs.  You could go back and talk to a maager but it will be up to them what they do. Although technically if you paid $20 for the 2 items you did not spend enouhg to qualify for the ECB's.

    • Momsangels9606

Scanned my card at the coupon center Saturday and got a $4.50 coupon off Pampers Diapers Box.

      • Kelly

Me too!!! So excited to use this on Sunday!

      • Cheryl

I got this too and used it in conjunction with my $1.50 off Man. Q for a great deal! :)

    • elfmom

I'm in a test market. Sale ends FRIDAY. New sale starts Sunday. Learned this the hard way.

      • Sarah

huh? so, are they closed on saturday? lol

    • a g

My CVS in Orlando Fl has arm and hammer detergent B1G1 free at $6.77.Gonna be a great deal with my $5 ECB……

    • Jldpittman

      coke is good

    • Metaz36274

can anyone tell me if the 1.00 off gain detergent and fabric enhancer is good on the gain dish liquid and if cvs would except it?

      • HappyCherry

I don't know for cvs, but wal-mart accepted it!

        • jennaj81

you may not realize this, but just because they accept it doesn't make it right. using a coupon for a different product (even if it's the same brand) is coupon fraud and that's illegal!

      • Cayoung_8

I think the coupon is specifying for the laundry products. I personally do not recommend using a coupon for other than its intended product even if it will scan.

      • the coupon is for a FABRIC enhancer not on dish soap.

    • Jcriley2

I am a new one to this..have done good the last couple of weeks but I am confused on something. Ex: this week your showing huggies for 2.99 with coupons..Question: I see you have several coupons. All of those can be used on one package? So if I have 4 1.50 off coupons I can use them on one product?

      • cs

she just lists all the coupons available, you can only use one manufacture coupon (the ones with m's) and one store coupon on an item (the ones with an s)

        • Elwynceltic

What about the ecoupons? Can you use a man. one with the ecoupon? Like if I buy wipes and diapers, can i use the ecoupon for 3$ off as well as a man. one for $3 off – getting 6$ in total off the price? Thanks :)

          • Elwynceltic

never mind, had a brain dead moment. figured it out, thanks anyways :)

    • cs

Had a great trip to cvs this morning. got $103 worth of items for 4.50 (including tax) that is about 96% savings (i think lol). Scanned my card at the red machine and got a coupon for a free vitamin up to 9.99 which was awesome since they are buy one get one free this week. I got 2 vitamins free! that was a saving of about 20 bucks right there. I love cvs!

      • Aerdnamom

I got the same coupon for free vitamins, but when I used it, it wouldn't let me do that deal.  The cashier said that it couldn't be used on sale items and that I could get vitamins that weren't B1G1.  Oh well, I still love CVS much more than WAGS!!

    • Melissa M

Just FYI the Power Bar coupon (buy one get one free) is not being taken…it's for Power Bar Harvest only…

      • Olemissmoss

looking at my coupon and it states buy any one powerbar triple threat energy bar and get one free…the only harvest bar coupon i saw was a printable.

    • L Clark

In some CVS stores, the Pantene is actually $4.99 instead of $3.48, so watch out for that if you were looking forward to that deal.  Also, PowerBars at my store were B1G1 and there were no ECBs for those.

      • cs

they have 2 pantene deals going on right now. I got confused at first also. One is for the smaller size then one is for the family size

        • L Clark

Yeah, the smaller size didn't have any ECBs (which is what I was looking for).  The family size at my store was $6.99.

          • cs

I got 2 ecbs from the smaller size.

            • E08

Sent my husband in to get the Pantene and he got one small and one family, got $1.50 ECB but I aslo reached my $50 threshold for the beauty club and got $5.00 as well…

      • Nita Royal

The PowerBars at B1G1 were a great deal, since I also had B1G1 coupons, so paid for 2 and got 6.  The ECB deal was on the bagged version – same stuff, but in a bite-sized snack.  Oddly, they were not tagged at my store, but the ECBs printed.

        • Anna

You could have done better :)  It is actually B2G1 so if you use 3 MQ B1G1, you should pay 1 and get 5 free or use 6 MQ and pay for 2 (as you did) and get 10 for free !!! On a side note: the bars were $2.59 at my store but the Q stated “up to $2.39” so the “free” ones were actually $0.20

    • Caroline

On the Scotch tape, will CVS  take 2 coupons on a B1G1 since the second one rings up free? I know Publix will do it but didn't think CVS would.

      • Thriftykb

I live in Birmingham, AL…and my CVS will take 2 coupons on B1G1.

      • cvs lady

Yes, CVS and Walgreens (the 2 drugstores I shop) both take 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal.  You are buying 2 products, so you can use 2 coupons.  Even though one product rings up for zero, the register doesn't care — it's just looking for 2 items to match the 2 coupons.  Hope that helps you.

    • Desiree

The Scotch tape at my store was priced at $2.19 for the cheapest one, so even with the B1G1 and (2) $1.00 off coupons, it still wasn't free.  They were also out of Hershey's Bliss already, so I had to get a rain check.

    • MEL

Great trip to cvs, bought 40 worth of stuff for about 1.00 oop. I'm loving it.

    • Amber

Did anyone else notice the CVS-only $2 SavingStar coupon on the “$15.99 ECB WYB G-U-M PerioBalance Lozenges, 28 ct., $15.99” deal?

      Hopefully a money-maker, assuming I'm not confused.  :)

      • Amber

Note – this shows up (the exact item) in my SavingStar account…

        Buy 1 GUM® PerioBalance®, save $2.00
        Expires 6/30/2011
        One time use only

…but for some reason, I don't see it in the list of SavingStar coupons when I'm not logged in as me.

        • Syndilew

Because it's no longer available.  They have been all taken.  HTH

    • I'm confused b/c my CVS said you have to spend the money after coupons to get the ECB. Like if it is says spend $25 in diapers to get $10 in ECB. That $25 has to be AFTER coupons or it won't print. Is this correct?

      • Angelascoupons1

Not to my knowledge…the spending is all BEFORE coupons.

      • cs

its before coupons, you could contact customer service or talk to the manager at the cvs

      • tarabj

I totally did this deal & had a $3 manuf coupon for pampers, a $4.50 cvs coupon for pampers, and a .75 manuf for the huggies wipes. Used them all & got the 10 ecb.  It is AFTER coupons.  Regardless of what the cashier says.

      • couponbliss

I paid $2.02 Oop for the baby/pampers deal and got my 10ecb no problems. It is always Before coupons and I have never had a problem

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Coupons have nothign to do with ecbs. You can use Qs as a form of payment and can still get the deal. Just do not listen to employees, go ahead with yout transaction for $25 before coupons and the ecb will print. Look for limit though

      • jhoran

        No. …$25.00 is before coupons.

    • Angelascoupons1

Great CVS trip!  For about $6, here's what I got:
      5 Powerades ($1 off, generates $2 ECB)4 Hydro razors (B1G1, $4 off on each)
1 bag of Hershey's Bliss (generates $5.99 ECB)
1 People and 1 Stylewatch magazine ($1 off each, generates $2 ECB)
2 Colgate toothpastes ($1 off each, generates $2 ECB each)
      2 bags of Lay's potato chips (B1G1 at $3.99)

Did it in two transactions.  Started with $5.99 ECB, $4 off when you spend $20 (transaction #1); then used $5.99 ECB, $2 ECB and $5 off when you spend $10.  Ended up with $4 RR left over.

      Net impact: $2!

    • Surgibelle

Murfreesboro, TN has 2Liter Coke products for $0.79.  No coupons required. I wish I had my bag tag!  :(  (UNPLANNED TRIP)….Its going on my keychain ASAP.  Not free, but less than a $.

      • Anonymous

My CVS requires me to actually bring in a reusable bag to get the credit. One day I was in hubby’s car and just grabbed a random paper bag.

    • Peaceout0511

on the Schick Hydro Razor B1G1 can you use 2 $4.00 off coupons?

      • cvs lady

        Yes you can

      • Aria

        ? sure did:)

    • Sllyons25

I am confused.  I activated a SavingsStar coupon last week and one this week and went to CVS and used my card thats attached to SavingsStar.  Neither purchase is showing.  Does it take a long time?  Can I tell if something is pending?

      • Anna

According to their website :Your savings will typically post to your SavingStar account between two days and two weeks after yourpurchase, depending on how quickly stores send us purchase data. In rare cases it can take up to 30 days. SavingStar is actively working with retailers to post your savings as quickly as possible.

      • Dee71270

some stores havent gone live yet same thing happened to me manager was nice enough to give it to me anyway. make sure that store is live with the e-coupons

        • Syndilew

What are you talking about that the manager was nice enough to give it you anyway???  These coupons have nothing to do with the store.  They are e-coupons that the stores know nothing about.    If you are saying what I think that you are saying you had a manager deduct a total from your bill because you didn't fully understand what you were using and then because a manager wanted to keep a customer happy, you allowed him to deduct something from your bill that you will also later be reimbursed for later again.  People, please know what you are signing up for and using.    All it takes is a little bit of research to know, there are all kinds of tutorials on this site as well as on the ecoupon site.  Dee, you just cost CVS money.  Oh, brother, another good thing, will be gone soon!

    • vtthomas

I am going to have to start shopping CVS on Saturday nights for the new weekly ad deals.  I went this AM about 15 min. after the store opened and there were about 20 people there, most of them holding coupon organizers (like me).  Needless to say, I didn't get the main items I was there for, BUT I did get some toothpaste free with my ECB, and 2 large Dove bars for 1.50 (they are on sale 1 dollar a piece, used CVS coupon .50 off two).  So not too bad.

      • cs

they might be stopping the saturday night ad starts. The cashier at my cvs told me that it did not start last night like normal and that she was holding some stuff from a customer that was going to get it last night. You might just be better off getting rainchecks.

        • Abigail

How could she hold items that a customer was going to buy the night before??  Especially if the system was going to let her?  I bet you if corporate found out about that, that cashier would be in big trouble.  Not letting someone buy something becuase the sale doesn’t “technically” start until the next day even tough their system allows it, is just stupid.  That cashier won’t have a job for long.   I try to go on Saturday nights just because I try not to shop on sundays for religious reasons but sometimes I can’t do that either so I’m use to getting rainchecks when I go later in the week but I would have been really upset if I was that customer.

      • Mine stopped the Saturday night as well.

    • Qsmom

Hi! I am in Easley, SC and my SS 6/12 doesn't have the Schick $4 Q … anyone in this area have it?

      • Deecheers4rv

Me too.. and no it doesn't

      • Tracyscgirl

I am in Anderson, SC and I didn't get one either.  Got both Anderson and Greenville papers but no luck on that particular one.

      • Anna

They have those coupons on http://www.coupondede.com. They charge you a low price per coupon (approx 0.05-0.40 cents) depending on the value of the coupon. However, you do have to have a balance of $5 before you can check out. Still not a bad deal though…I got one of those plus lots of other coupons for approx. $6 including shipping.  Probably $60 worth of savings or more for $6.

    • Happy Feet

I am learning to appreciate “rain-checks”… purchased two Schick #5 razors cartridges box …. had a buy one get one raincheck… stacked it with my Schick sale from this week…added my $2 coupon… after $4 Eb's.  I paid $ .49 for two boxes… now that is cool!  :o)

      • Imnew

iv never done a raincheck before. How did you stack them? when you get a raincheck do you save the coupon until the item comes in and then pay for it or do you give it right then and pay for it?thanks!

        • Frances

Save the coupon until the item comes in and when you pay for it, give them the coupon.  I try to get rainchecks and save them until I get $5/25 purchase coupons.  Watch your coupon expiration date though – my CVS stores will not take expired coupons even with a raincheck.

    • instantphoebe

I feel like I luck out here…there don't seem to be too many couponers! Knock on wood. I ended up getting about $41 worth of items for only $8 and change, which is good for me, considering I only started couponing a few weeks ago.

      Here's what I got:
      2 Pantene shampoos (2/6.97 – $3 coupon, get $2 ECB)
      1 Colgate 360 toothbrush (1/2.79 – $1 coupon, get $2 ECB)
      1 Colgate Total toothpaste (1/2.79 – $1 coupon, get $2 ECB)
      1 Neutrogena Naturals lip balm (3.39 – $1 coupon)
      1 Neutrogena SPF 30 sunscreen (10.79 – $1 coupon)
      1 Neutrogena SPF 50 sunscreen (11.79 – $2 coupon)
Get $10 ECB for $25 worth of Neutrogena products.
Use $4 off $20 purchase coupon.
Use $4 ECB from last time.

      Total OOP: $24.63 with tax
      ECB for next time: $16
      Net total: $8.63!

      • Tammie

        Yeah!  That is great.

      • Good job, I was less then inspired by CVS this week, may take a crack at the Neutrogena deal.  My CVS pretty much always has the sale items, I think I am the only who shops with coupons and the ECB, literally I can go the last day and pretty much get everything.

        Thanks everyone for sharing!

    • jo

Are items that give you ecb's back considered On sale. I want to use a % off coupon on an item that is regular priced but has ecb's back with purchase? The coupon specifically says reugualr priced items only

      • Keaton44

I've been able to use % off coupon on an ECB item that was not on sale.

        • ireneY

The Bliss chocolate is regular priced with ECB back, so that might work.

      • MomOf4

Usually the ECB items are on sale.  Trying buying newspapers with the % off :)

      • Casey

It worked for me on the bliss chocolate but not the gum periobalance (it's on sale usually 24).

    • Linden

There are two items that a coupon from the Reinventing Beauty magazine (toothpaste and irish spring deodorant) Does anyone know which magazine these were in?  Who is on the front?

      • Cindy

It is from CVS' own magazine called Reinventing Beauty and Natalie Portman was on the cover of this particular magazine.

    • Here's what I plan to do:
      1) Buy 2 Pantene Shampoos– $6.97-$3.00= $3.97 out of pocket. (Get $2 ECB)
      2) Buy 1 Colgate Total–$2.79-$2 ECB -$1 coupon= FREE (Get $2 ECB)
      3) Buy 1 Colgate Total–$2.79-$2 ECB -$1 coupon= FREE (Get $2 ECB)
      4) Buy 2 boxes GM Ceral–$4.00-$2 ECB – $1 coupon= $1
A total of $4.97 plus tax out of pocket.

      • Number 2 & 3 won't work because you can't use them for tax.

        • FreedomSpradley1

The cashier can either adjust the coupon or you can get something to cover the difference (ie. candy or other cheap item).

        • FreedomSpradley1

The cashier can either adjust the coupon or you can get something to cover the difference (ie. candy or other cheap item).

    • AHC

I didn't get the pantene coupon for $3/2. Did anyone else not get this coupon today?

      • Robin Kiker

It wasn't in my paper either.  bummed!

    • Jen_in_Tn

Thank you SouthernSavers for helping me save on diapers @ CVS and Target!  I was able to purchase 4 BOXES of diapers and a large container of wipes(184 ct) for $52!  That's only $10.40 an item!  This may not be the best deal anyone has done on diapers but I'm pretty excited about my haul.  Thank you again!!

    • Sm42

question I wanted to purchase the energy bars today b2g1 store sale and i had b1g1 coupons and cents off cupons what would be the best combination for coupons when the store sale is b2g1

      • Karen

If the cents off coupon is for 1 product then you can use both a cents off and the b1g1.

        • Sm42

i understand that but the sale was for b2g1 and my coupons were cents off one and b1g1 so with that deal how many do i purchase and what coupons do i use?

          • Karen

B2B1, use the B1G1 for the B2 part and the cents off for the B1. So buy 3 total. The ad doesn't have a limit so if you have multiples of each, buy more.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        buy item 1, 2 and 3

cents off coupon for item 1,
        b1g1 Q. for item 2,
store sales $0.00 for item 3

You will get 3 bars for pennies.

If you have multiple manuf Q for cents off and b1g1, then

        Buy item, 1,2,3,4,5, and 6

        3 cents off Q for item 1,3, and 5
        3 b1g1 Q for item 2,4, and 6

2 bars will come ff as $0.00 even for more savings
you will pay pennies and get more bars

    • Brooke

      • JTTLC

Whoop Whoop…..gotta love CVS.  Had a great day myself!

      • MomOf4

Thank you so much for posting this deal, I went and did a similar deal with my 30% off.  Couldn't find the concealer at the same price, but I got a revitilizing lip balm for a little more.  Now that I think of it, would another one of the Naturals Lip Balm have worked with the $3 off?  That would have been even better!

      • Thanks for your scenario, ran out of the house at 9:42, store closes at 10.00 pm, did very close to this deal:

        1) Neutrogena Naturals face wash 7.89- 1(coupon)= 6.89
        1) Neutrogena Naturals face scrub 7.89- 1(coupon)= 6.89
        2) Neutrogena Naturals Lip balm 3.39- 3.39= FREE (coupon for free lip blam with naturals purchase)
        1) Neutrogena Naturals Face and Body Bar 4.49 – 1(coupon) = 3.89
        1) Jergens Natural Glow 9.49- 2(coupon)= 7.49
        1) Sample size Jergens Natural Glow 2.99
***I took the wrong tape coupon so I just passed on that but did get
        2) Nyquil on clearance for 1.37

        Total with tax 46.08
Total after 30% savings (it took 30 %off the Nyquil as well) 32.25
        Total in coupons 11.00
5.99 in ECB from last week
        OOP with tax 15.26

Got back 14.00 in ECB (10 Neutr, 3 Jergens, 1 Green bag tag)

Left exactly at 10.00, came back to a coupon fury that I made before leving and really not sure until then what I actually had gotten!

        What fun!

      • instantphoebe

I was bummed…I didn't see any of the Naturals products except for the lip balm at my CVS or the Neutrogena Wave.

    • Karen

If you got the $4/1 Lumene coupon in SS, it makes a great deal at CVS this week. I had 5 ECB from last week. I bought 1 wipes and 3 eye makeup removers. Used 4-$4 off and my ECBs and walked out spending zero for 22.50 worth. Plus got 5 ECB back.

      • Truckescrt

        hi Karen,
Where do you live? I did not get the Lumene, I'm in Alabama and I bought the Huntsville & Birmingham papers and dont see it at all…
I also don't see the Kraft Mayo coupon…I'm wondering why we're getting the shaft down here?

        • Karen

I'm in the Dallas, TX area. I know what you mean. I don't get alot of coupons Jenny posts each week. We have 2 papers and they vary in each one as well.

          • Aria

Karen didnt you have problem using $4.00 off coupon on wipes cause they are aroun $2.00. I live dallas area too byw. Thank is advance.

          • Aria

Karen didn't you have problem using $4.00 off coupon on wipes? They are around $2.00. Thanks in advance.

          • Gladys

Karen what papers are the coupons in I only get the dallas morning news. I didnt know there was another paper with coupons.

    • Lisa

Ok, I am feeling pretty stupid, but… when I click on the links that go to ConAgra, I can't find where to get the coupons. Everything seems to be about codes to enter for their Feeding the Children campaign. Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks!

      • Tammie

You have to have a code to enter, before you can print a coupon. The codes are on certain pkgs that you buy of Con Agra products.

    • Walgreens has a $2 off Hawaiian Trpoic lotion or creme at the beauty counter

    • Tammie

Colgate Total Advanced 1.00 coupon in SS 6/12

    • Amie

Just an FYI: I found an Honest Tea 50 cents off one tear pad at my Walgreens. I felt a little guilty as the manager saw me take a coupon and tried to persuade me to purchase one and I knew I'd find a better deal with it elsewhere. lol. I hadn't seen the CVS ad at the time and went back today and got a few more coupons while shopping. It made them 10 cents each after coupons and ECBs.

    • Aria

If any of you out there can find that gum perio balance in stock at cvs, open the box before going to register cause heard that some of them $5 coupon in it, so you can make money. And it is ok the open the box as long as you will purchase it. I wasn't that lucky got a raincheck for now.

      • Singfanfree

Its really not ok to open the box before you buy it and use the coupon out it would you open paper towels to get the coupons cause they have paper towels out now that have coupon in them also–really its kind of stealing

        • Aria

Don't you open your water sometimes in store before you pay it?

As long as store is OK with it, it's fine by me.

          • Shelly

Don't worry about Singfanfree's comment…some people really like to give other people a hard time about inconsequential things just for the sake of complaining.  If you are going to buy something, there's absolutely nothing wrong with opening it at the store…it's ridiculous to say it's stealing.  Now, if you don't end up buying it, that's another story…

    • Nita Royal

On the Hershey Bliss candy, there's a CVS coupon that was sent out a long time ago, in a post card format.  I was amazed that I still had it to combine with the mfg Q, for a $2MM.  Of course, I'll be offsetting the savings when I have to buy a larger size of clothing ;-)  Couponing has been great for my wallet, but a disaster for my waistline!

      • Ha, too funny, I actually just pass on by the candy even free I don't need the temptation!  If it is in the house I eat it, if not no problem.

      • ireneY

I buy all the junk food for DH, which is the excuse I tell myself. I end up breaking down and eating a bag of chips when he's not home. And oh, the chocolate bars…

      • Rissab

LOL! I agree with you on that one Nita!

      • Anonymous

Totally agree on your last sentence!
Also, the red machine was spitting out coupons for Bliss but they could be long expired by now. I need to look through my pile. I do have a store here that will take them a couple weeks expired.

    • Kgetche0

Anyone else get gipped the SS insert this week? BOOOOOO…..

      • Medicgirl014

I got the SS insert but no RP!!!!

      • Snoopygirl62

Our local paper quit carrying SS, so now I buy the state edition.  It has all of them.

    • tizzle

I was wondering on the Schick Hydro 3 or 5 razors that are B1G1…can you use (2) $4 coupons and get them both for .99???

      • Karen

        Yes you can. Great deal!

      • Aria

I used two coupons but they are not $8.99. Either $9.49 or $9.79. still good deal though.

      • tizzle

        Thanks! =)

    • Ashhatch

My husband works for the newspaper and told me that the only people that are assured all the coupons are people who subscribe to the newspaper. I bought some in the rack and only got a RP. He told me that was why. Most places offer a Sunday only subscription. If you do the math, even when there are no coupons, it is cheaper to have a subscription than to buy them on the rack.

      • MomOf4

I get the Sunday only subscription for 57 cents!

        • Kristines Coupons 2011

      • Squirrellee01

Except for me. I don't live where it gets delivered. So it'd come in the mail Monday and be $13 for sunday only a month, for one copy.  I can pick it up down the street for $1.50. Only wish I lived where I could get it delivered!

        • Ashhatch

I do understand that! I hate you can't get delivery!

      • Jeremyamoore81

I disagree.  That is not ethical at all.

        • Exactly what is unethical about making sure home subscribers get coupons before anyone else?

          • Niki

They should have enough for all the newspapers, racks and home delivery. I pay $1.50 for a Sunday paper, so I better get all Q inserts for the week :) I get home service, then buy extra off rack if need be. I pay more buying off rack, so I think EVERYONE should have all inserts, not just a select few :)

            • Yes, but the insert companies are only allowed to print a certain amount, per the manufacturer’s contract. If P&G says “Okay, you may only circulate 1 million of these in the US” they have to decide who and what areas get them.  I can see where it’s a hassle, but not unethical.

        • Ashhatch

THe newspapers are doing what they are told by SMART SOURCE and RED PLUM. This isn't just oh let's do what we want. They are sent a certain number of inserts. I am not sure where doing what you are told is unethical.

      • Abigail

Where do you live?  I live in Charleston and they don't offer a Sunday only service.  There weekend service is Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon and in the end its cheaper for me just to go and buy it.  Even then I have friends who subscribe to the paper and still have issues getting their inserts.  I always make sure to check my paper before I buy it.  I go to the same place every week they have no problem with me checking before I buy.

        • Meesh

where do you go? i went to the walmart by the airport (not my usual spot, i prefer cvs usually), and i had to check two papers before i found one with ss and rp.

    • yoswann

where can i find the Schick Hydro 3 or 5 razors B1G1 ?

      • Aria

        at CVS :)

        • yoswann

Thanks so much i will go by there tomorrow

          • Sarah

they will probably be out since its the same razors from last weeks good deal as well, if so just get a rain check

    • K D011face

Do you not have sales tax where you live?

        • K D011face

I just didn't include the sales tax since everyone's taxes would be different based on where they live so it could skew the OOP total, whereas the OOP should be the same for all on the pre-tax subtotal :)

        • FreedomSpradley1

I have found that some stores only charge you tax on your cash total after coupons and ECBs.  This must be set up store by store because another CVS about 1 mile away charges tax on your subtotal (before coupons & ECB).  If you are getting a lot of stuff the tax can average a couple extra dollars a week. I’ve been known to roll ECBs and walk out with as little as $0.50-.75 OOP for $30+ of product.

      • ireneY

Great job! Cool that your store takes Catalinas. I asked a while back at a couple of my stores and they looked at me like I was trying to hand them an IOU!

    • Rntobe10

How would the powerbar energy snacks result in a profit?? Am I missing something here?

      • Liz

It won't really be profit with the B1G1 coupon, but you'll have 2 free bags instead of 1.

      • Shannon

If you use the B1G1, you get 2 powerbars for free instead of just one.

    • Lalalarkin24

I f im getting say $2 ECB when im buying an item and I buy two, do i need to split up trans to get both or can I do it in One trans?

      • Yuliyaporter

if there is  no limit or the limit  for those ECB is at least 2  you can do all of them in one transaction. CVS is  great!

      • MomOf4

You can do them in the same transaction, but the ECB will come out as a $4 ECB.  If you want some small bills, break it up into 2 transactions.  Remember there's no change back when you cash in an ECB :)

    • Shanannking

Where can I find a Proctor and Gamble booklet?

      • Liz

It isn't something you can buy.  You have to send in for at the end of the year by having purchased $50 worth of P&G products from Aug thru Dec.  Then you mail them your receipts with their products you bought circled, and they send you the $101 coupon booklet in January.  The coupons in the booklet are good until the end of June.  Soooo, I'm assuming starting in July, they'll start advertising how you can get the new one for next year.

    • Jjlsaver

What is the Reinventing Beauty magazine? Is that a freebie in-store (like Walgreen's coupon books)?

      • No, it is a magazine available at CVS it is .99 cents.

        • Miss_afb

anyone know where i can find a picture of the reinventing beauty mag? i could not find the mag in store and store clerk said if we have it its over there said the store did not handle magazines. and would not help look. anyways i thought if i knew what i was looking for it would help lol

    • ireneY

Someone on another blog reported getting a $5/10 any purchase. Trying to duplicate that offer here. Good luck everyone!!

      • Shelly

I got it!  Was a nice surprise!

    • Sheila

So. I went to CVS yesterday and purchased 18 items totalling $150+ before coupons.  I had 20 coupons total: 3 store coupons, 5 separate ECBs, and 12 mfcs.  I know that everyone says that you don't need fillers with CVS, but I was doing CVS deals 10-15 years ago and you still couldn't have more coupons than items.  I haven't had a problem lately (maybe the cashiers were just pushing it through?) until yesterday.  The assistant manager rang me out, said I had too many coupons and refused to take my last one.  My OOP was $68+, so it wasn't like I was going into the negative.  He said he'd override the remaining coupons this time, but not again.  He did a bunch of mumbo jumbo with the register in which i think he recoded some of the mfcs to cvs qs, because my 30% coupon value was reduced. :-( that cost me an additional couple of dollars that I didn't figure out until I got home.  I ended up taking off the items that were attached to the coupon, the Neutrogena Naturals face wash and lip balm.  He also said that my IP looked copied.  and he kept saying it.  It wasn't copied, it was totally legit and I tried to tell him it was an IP and I showed him the watermark and everything.  I don't know if I told my story right, but I walked out of the store feeling like a criminal, not because I am one, but simply because he thought I was one.  Also – I wanted to confirm with you guys to see if you had ever been told you had exceeded the limit on coupons?  The register actually beeped on this.

      • K D011face

I have not had that my store – my cashiers are super nice and patient and help me sort through my coupons, even help me find products on the shelves to match them.  Question – what is “IP”?

        • Sheila

          internet printable coupon

      • ireneY

CVS generally doesn't have a coupon limit, like Walgreens, but since your order was so large, the computer may have “attached” Qs to certain items you didn't intend to apply. For example, using a BOGO Q with a $ off on two items. You were probably trying to maximize on the 30% Q, but it's best to keep transactions small so it's easier to see where something has gone wrong.
Too bad they treat a couponer like a criminal when you just brought them $150 in sales legitimately. Call the 1-800 number if you want to ensure a more pleasant experience next time.

      • Catherine Taylor

definitely call and complain–not b/c of the $$, but b/c of the service!

      • Cayoung_8

honey call corporate while you’re in the freaking store!  I don’t put up with BS like that anymore.  I am nice as can be as long as they are nice as can be even when there’s a problem.  There is no excuse for treating a customer this way.  You get what you give with me.  I will call corporate right in front of you and let you explain why you are treating me this way!!!  that’s unacceptable.

    • Kimberly

Can you use every coupon listed under the products? I thought you could only use 1 manufacturer coupon per product?

      • shanna

No, Jenny just lists all the coupons that are available for that item.

        • shanna

Know what I mean?  She lists all the coupons that are available but that doesn't mean you could use all of those coupons in one transaction.  Listing them that way helps everyone easily see what coupons they actually have to use on that item or where to get the coupon if they don't have any.

    • shanna

I know that this has been asked before, but when it's 10 ECB on a $25 purchase, generally the $25 is before coupons, right?

I'm trying to do the 10 ECB on $25 baby purchase.  I have a coupon from Similac for a free container of formula (up to $25).  I also need wipes.  This would be over $25 before coupons.  Would this work?

      • Liz

Yep, as long as you hit your $25 total before coupons, your $10 ECB will print out.

    • LizA

My CVS was not giving ECB on People Magazines

    • Cfedmonds

My CVS had a bin full of silly bands at the front of the store – all packages were .25!  They had collegiate and disney variety.  Great deal if you like to stockpile items throughout the year for Operation Christmas Child.

    • Destiny691966

Check your emails everyone, I just got a $3 off on revlon cosmetics. Paired with this weeks Revlon deal makes it even better.

      • Catherine Taylor

I'm hopinh to get the nail polish deal (instead of the month long $4/$10) b/c i dont have any more manu. q's.  still a $1 mm!

      • EmD

how did u get that in your email?

      • guest

I got that email and used it today on the nailpolish

    • paulaB

Was the Hersheys Bliss on sale everywhere?  Mine had no tags and was not in the add for the 5.99 with 5.99 ECB.

      • Stacyannw

i live in alabama the birmingham area and i got the hershey bliss and got the 5.99ECB

        • Snoopygirl62

I live in South Carolina and we had it.

    • MomOf4

Has anyone tried using the Revlon nail polish deal to count towards the month long spend $10, get 4 ECB back?  Just wondering if I bought the polish, would I get ECBs back for that and the other deal?

      • guest

I needed .51 to get to 10 and the nail polish didn't count that I got today.

        • Guest

It takes several days for the beauty club amounts to apply to your total.  It doesn't credit that day.  Check back in 2-3 days and your credit will be there and you'll get your $5 ecb if you've reached the next level.  Revlon nail polish counts just fine towards the deal, I got my credit the last time they had an ecb deal on it.  :-)

          • Guest

Oops just realized I didn't read the part about it being a spend $10 get $4 dael, I thought you were talking about the beauty club rewards.  My mistake. :-)

      • Megan

My store had signage saying that promo was on “all revlon products” (as did my email).  I was excited there was FOR ONCE no “excl. clearance” caveat.  I bought one clearance item that the computer didn't count towards the deal…so I guess be cautious.  My store ended up forcing my $4 ECB through because I pointed out the signage.

    • carol

cvs in summerville ga is awful they dont have anything from ad this week or from the ad last week or the week before that last weeks prices are still up good thing rianchecks don't expire the shelves look the same last fews weeks better off to go somewhere else the same one lonely john freida on shelf for last 3 weeks

    • Jenny

Some of the CVS Pamper's boxes have a $30 coupon book in them. I bought one today and the coupons are really high value P and G coupons. Makes for a nice deal!

      • Guest

Define 'really high value'.  b/c that means different things to different people.  :-)

    • shanna

Just had a wonderful CVS trip!

      Transaction #1
      Huggies 216 count wipes $6
      similac advanced formula $22
      sunday newspaper $1.50
      subtotal                 $29.50
      ECB last trip            $2
coupon from similac $22 (was for 1 free container of formula up to $25.99)

      OOP $5.50 plus tax
      Received $10 ECB

      Transaction #2
      Huggies diapers (36 count)   $8.99
1 box Cheerios and 1 box Cinn Toast Crunch   2 for $4
      2 boxes of Cheez-its            2 for $4
      subtotal                    $16.99
      ECB from last transaction $10
      coupon for huggies        $2
coupon for cereal          $1 off of 2

      OOP       $3.99 plus tax
      Received $2 ECB ($1 huggies and $1 cheez-its)

      TOTAL OOP: 9.49 PLUS TAX!!!!

    • Does anyone know if the savings star ecoupon works for the huggies wipes and jumbo pack of diapers? The picture on saving star is for a box of diapers and not a pack. If it works, do you have to buy the wipes & diapers in the same transaction?

      • Guest

I bought the jumbo pack of snug&dry and a refill bag of wipes at Rite-Aid on 6/4, also bought other savingstar items that day.  The other items that I bought got creditted (overnight diapers and something else, can't remember), but the snug&dry/wipes deal did not credit.  I'm thinking it's not programmed to work for the jumbo packs.  Very frustrating since there were no sizes listed for the deal.

where are you located? i just looked in my paper and there it is. i will bring my ad with me tomorrow just in case.

      • BhamBilly

I bought Scotch tape yesterday here in Birmingham & it was BOGO.  Used 2 of the $1 off Qs.  Woo Hoo for early Christmas prep!  haha

      • FreedomSpradley1

They weren't marked in the store I was out but I price checked them at the red box and they were B1G1.  With coupons I think I paid $0.19 for 2 rolls of magic tape.

    • Heather

Do you know if you have to buy 5 of the coke 12 packs to get the $2.60 price?

      • MaysonD

You did in our store. I asked the same thing too!

      • Phatpatswife

No you do not. They ring up at $2.60 a piece.

    • Coppertopp

Will CVS in SC accept a publix coupon? (for the power bars)

      • MaysonD

Ours in Saluda, SC won't, unless it starts with a “5” and is a manufacturer's coupon that says “Redeemable at Publix.” If it says “Redeemable ONLY at Publix” they won't take it.

        • Off topic, but I tried to use a Winn-Dixie Catalina for trash bags that had “Redeemable at Winn-Dixie” at Walmart. The cashier kept telling me I couldn't use them though I told her that it said “Manufacturer's Coupon” and that is just Winn-Dixie marketing for you to use it there. I asked her to void the trash bags then (which I priced matched with Publix to save $2) and she figure out how to void it. So, she tried to scan the coupon to see if it worked, and what do you know, it scanned! :-)

          • Cayoung_8

I didn’t know you could price match at CVS.  Is this common practice?

    • pepper

Is the Get More From Your Pharmacy Booklet inside CVS or do you have to order it?

      • Catherine Taylor

I've heard it's in Kroger, not CVS, but it has manu. q's that can be used anywhere.

      • This booklet can be found in Kroger pharmacies. Enjoy!

    • Snoopygirl62

Had a great time at CVS today!  Bought Bliss Chocolate, bottle pantene shampoo, pantene conditioner, irish spring bath wash, colgate toothpaste, 2 boxes of cheezits, revlon nail polish and a caramel.  :O)  Paid….33 cents!  What fun!  I have $8 in ECBs for next week.  :O)

      • O.M.G. the Bliss are amazing.  They sure got me on this one, I'll probably buy more bags of them at full price!!! :D

    • amanda75

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the CVS in Liberty has 2 Liter Coca Cola products for $0.79.

    • Did anyone do the Hawaiian Tropic deal with the lip balms?  They are $2.99 each and you get $10 ECBs back when you buy 2 which makes it a $4 overage!  Yay!!  Totally worked for me today in Destin, FL.

      • Jen W.

My CVS didn't have the lip balms, but they had small bottles of Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effects (in the cosmetics area – not near the suncare items).  They're 2.99 each, and had $2 off coupons on a tearpad near them.  $8 overage!!!!

        • Wow will look around for that one too!   Thanks!

    • Pambane

The $10.00 ECB is printing when you buy 2 lip balms for $2.99 each.  Makes this a $4.00 money maker.

      • Snoopygirl62

        Is this in their ad?

        • Guessing it is a bit of a loophole (happy for us).  This happened two weeks ago with the Banana Boat deal, if you purchased 2 you got 7.00 ECB, it worked if you bought the trial size which in my store was 1.77, I bought the two for 3.60 (or so) and got the 7.00 ECB.

Going to give it a try this morning, thanks for the tip!

      • Abigail

        Is this the neutrogena ECB?

        • Hailey Hurst 22

Hawaian Tropic. I did it this evening

      • Jjfdv

worked in myrtle beach sc.  Thanks!

does cvs place a limit on how many transactions one can do in a single visit? i have my list set up for tomorrow, and it's looking to be roughly 5. i thought i saw once before that they limit it to 3, but i couldn't find it. thanks in advance!

      • As far as I know you can do as many as you want. Now, how you conduct them might determine how willing they are to work with you. I'm sure someone might try to pull a “3 transactions at a time” rule if you are rude, or inconsiderate of the cashier or other shoppers. My suggestion is to just be as friendly as possible. Let the cashier know what you're going to be doing. Be prepared to step out of line and move to the back if other customers come up behind you. If you do that, then you shouldn't have any trouble with your separate transactions. :-)

        • I agree with the above comments, be prepared and patient, try to stack your items and coupons into each transaction before you get to the register.  I too have stepped out of line or let the cashier clear the line before finishing with me.  For me my max is three transactions, unless I have single item or a few items in that transaction that is about all I feel like managing.  I also scan before getting up the register most items to confirm pricing, it always seems there is an ECB deal I grabbed the wrong one, or one item that got into the wrong place.  If your transactions hinge on using ECB this going wrong can really mess up the system and get you flustered…well me anyway!

      • I did three transactions today. That was the most I've ever done. I went to the back of the line after the first. The cashier insisted on rushing them all through, but there were 3 customers behind me. I went to the back and thankfully for the last two transactions, I was the only one in line. I got 2 Colgate toothpastes, 2 Gain dish detergents, 2 Planters Nuts, and a 10ou brand of coffee that I've never heard of that was on sale for $2. I walked out only paying a little over $4 out of pocket for the toothpaste in the first transaction.

    • Lindseypremier

Does anyone know if CVS will double coupons?

      • No they won't.

      • Dharvn

this is kind of an odd question for drug store. but just for clarification, what is your understanding of what “double” means?

i want to make sure we are on the same page.

If by 'double' you mean they give you twice the face value, no, that is something that SOME grocery stores do, but not drugstores.  If you are actually asking if you can 'stack' coupons, it depends.  If you have a manufacturer's coupon and a CVS store coupon for the same item, you may use them together on that one item.  You may not under any circumstances use more than one manufacturer's coupon on the same item, however.  Manufacturer's coupons usually clearly state 'one coupon per purchase' which means you may only apply 1 coupon to each individual item you are buying.  Store coupons do not violate this term since they are actually a store discount on that item.

      • Cayoung_8

there is a CVS here in GA that will double…. crazy… but its like 20 mins the wrong direction for me so I never get to go…

        • Twirlly

What? wow which one in GA doubles?

          • Cayoung_8

Toccoa, GA (so I was told by a lady at my CVS here in Cornelia and my mother in law confirmed— she’s in Lavonia)

Anyone know where I can get coupons for Fuze??  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      • Catherine Taylor

I have at least one.  send me your address at crafty_cat_86 at yahoo dot com and I'll send it to you.

    • where is the stride gum tearpad?

      • Dharvn

        check your local gas stations

    • Wendy Moore

Where do you get the PowerBar coupon on its site?

    • Jenn

Last week I had to get a Raincheck for the Schick Hydro 3 or 5 ($8, with $4 ECB- free after coupon).  Does anyone know if I can combine this with the B1G1 deal this week and basically get 2 free Razors?

      • K D011face

I don't think you can combine that Raincheck (RC) with this week's deal b/c you got the RC on a deal already – so basically, I think you pick which deal do you  want, this week's deal or the deal on your RC.

        • Jenn

          Thanks everyone for your advice.

      • Catherine Taylor

you can always ask!  I find the associate really helpful in getting me a deal, esp. when I come from a curiosity standpoint, instead of one of entitlement.

      • I had a raincheck on the Crest Pro-Health mouthwash that was $4.50 with $2.50 back in ECBs two cycles ago. I had a $2 coupon. I bought two in two transactions. Last week, they had the “Spend $10 in Crest and get $5 ECB” or something like that. It appeared on my receipt that I only had to spend $1 more to get the Crest deal, thought my mouthwash was bought with a raincheck instead of for that deal. I was tempted, but I didn't do it. It didn't feel right.

    • Sarah

does anyone know of anywhere to get cheap, relatively small reuseable bag that isnt hideous (I know, asking a lot lol)? I usually only get a few items so I dont want a really big bag. Also, this is dumb but when you take your reuseable bag in the store and you are only getting a few items, are you supposed to put your items in there before paying and give it all to the cashier, or give your bag to the cashier for him to put the items in when you pay? I know this is the dumbest question ever but I dont think I've ever seen someone with one IN the store, I have only ever noticed with people walking to the car

      • Jcvelazquez88

Old navy havy has really cute smaller sized reusable totes for $1. I usually just put my things in the cart or basket and then give my bag to the cashier for them to put it in the bag…. hope that helps

        • Sarah

          thanks you two

      • Catherine Taylor

at my store, I put the items in the bag as I'm shopping to separate the transactions and then put them all on the counter and back into my bag after everything's scanned.  I got a smallish free bag when I signed up for target baby registry (and bucco bucks in coupons)  that folds into itself so you can stash it in your purse or something.

      • You should be able to get bags for $0.99 to $1.99 from most stores. You hand the empty bag to the cashier to bag.

      • Dtcox

i got mine at dollar tree and i place my stuff on counter and leave my bag in buggy when they ring up my stuff they hand me my stuff to put in bag or they will bag for me .

      • Cayoung_8

try thrift stores you can score some cute ones on the cheap sometimes…

    • Mizamyliz

Ok, I'm pretty new at the couponing at CVS, but for my first trip, I did ok. I had $14 in ECB from previous trips, so this is how I broke it down.

      Trx 1)

2 Colgate Total Advantage Toothpaste at $2.79 each
      – (2) $1 off MFC
      – $3 ECB

      OOP $0.61 (including tax)
      Got back $4 in ECB

      Trx 2)

      1 Pantene Shampoo at $3.49
      1 Pantene Conditioner at $3.49
1 candy bar for filler at $1
      – $3 MFC
      – $4 ECB

      OOP $1.03 (including tax)
      Got back $2 in ECB

      Trx 3)

      1 box Bandaids at $4.59
      1 Neosporin at $6.29
      – $1.50 MFC
      – $9.00 ECB

      OOP $0.40 (including taxes)
      Got back $3 in ECB

      Trx 4)

2 Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergents at $6.89 each but B1G1
1 Candy Bar for filler at $1.57
      – $7 ECB

      OOP $1.50 (including taxes)
      No ECB Back.

So, I got $39.79 worth of products for $3.54

      • amanda

tell me please why do you need to use a filler.

        • Rosey4u8

lol you dont only at cvs

        • Cayoung_8

i think she uses it to get her total up so she can spend her ECB in that transaction

          • Mizamyliz

yes, my total with the ECB was a negative, had to throw something cheap up there to get it over.

      • Jodi Mcdan

wow! great job! i'm impressed! thanks for showing it all! i need all the help i can get!

      • Gatorginger

You don't need filler items for cvs only at walgreens

Your $6 ecb for the Zyrtec was not a mistake, the deal on that was $5.99 with a $5.99 ecb = free.  Ecbs that are printed manually from rainchecks tend to round up to the nearest whole $-amount, so the $6 was correct.

      • Jen

HI Jessica! I just wanted to let you know that the similac coupons that come in the mail from strong moms, that look like a check, can be used with a coupon because they are processed as a check.

        • Jessica

Jen, you just made my day!  Thanks so much for that simple, yet ingenious advice! :)

      • amanda

where are the books i never have seen the cvs coupons?

        • Gatorginger

It's a cvs maganize called reinventing  beauty and it cost 99 cents which you will get back just using one coupon.  They are located at my store near the cash register

    • Purplestar1234

CVS money maker!!!! buy 2 hawaiin tropic lip balm 2.99 each get 10 ecb

      • I read about that working from another website.

      • Stacyannw

where in the store is the hawaiin tropic lip balm, i looked in like 3 diffrent cvs's today and i couldn't find it nor could i find a spot where it goes :(

        • Jjfdv

I found it with the sunscreen. Others found it hanging on endcaps.  Not sure if all cvs will carry it.

      • Does anyone know if it is considered a “suncare” product?

        • Nevermind. The coupon I had excludes the lip balm anyway.

      • Glenda

I went to three different stores in SC and couldn't find it either.

    • Kelfel731

New to couponing here so please excuse the ignorance. Can I use the manufacturer coupons printed off at the HT or Walgreens register at CVS?  Ex. Desitin $2.00 off?  Thanks for the help!

      • Isu2014

As long as it is manufacturer coupon!

        • Kelfel731

          Thanks! Geaux Tigers!

      • Guest

Generally yes, but sometimes stores will be very apprehensive to take coupons printed with another store's logo on them, even though technically it should be fine.

    • guest

But does anyone realize how much money you have to spend in order to get the ecb?? Each time I go into cvs, it is another rip-off because they overcharge on everything. You really arent getting anything for free because you just bought something you didnt need just to get an extra care buck….uggh

      • Jjfdv

I only spend about $1 a week.  I use my ECB like monopoly money and roll them each week.  I only buy items that produce ECB and it works like a charm.  I don't really care what the prices are because I am not spending my money, I'm spending theirs.

        • Dtcox

us too we have enough of every thing and i give to my family and neighbors , i start with about 100.00 in jan getting started and the rest of year i get free or tax due i buy all my gifts here too for christmas and birthdays and hoildays too cant beat that for a year '

        • Jcvelazquez88

how do u roll your ecb? last week on friday i purchased the razor and motrin and got 7 dollars worth of ecb and when i got home i noticed that they expired the same day is that normal?

          • Themartins55

That is definitely not normal. You have a month to use them. Double check the expiration date. If anything go back to the store. They can fix the problem manually and give you a new ECB voucher.

            • Jcvelazquez88

              thanks so much!

      • Dtcox

only buy what you use and use your xb  soon it will cost less and less every week have fun .

      • Themartins55

The idea is to buy things you need using your coupons and getting ECB's back at the same time.  Typically, in my case, just about everything that is sold at CVS is staple items in my household…toilet paper, diapers, soap, laundry detergent.  If you play your cards right, you can really make a big dent in your household spending budget.

For instance, the other day they had a deal on Zyrtec. Pay $5.99 get $5.99 in ECB's. Well, just so happens I had a $5.00 coupon for Zyrtec, so I paid .99 and they gave me $5.99 back in ECB's – I proceeded to another transaction to buy my diapers which were on sale for $8.99 – I have a $3.00 off coupon plus I used my $5.99 ECB – my out of pocket was $1.00 for diapers.  and I received $1.00 ECB for the purchase on my diapers – now I can use that $1 ECB towards a future transaction.

The trick is to use ECB's Coupons and separate your transactions! There is a method to the madness!!!

      • it may seem that way at first but take some time to read the beginners CVS post… you will pay a little out of pocket for the first transaction and after that everything is practically free or rock bottom… you need to learn to shop when it is super cheap and not when you need an item.  Take some time and read the beginners section and it will start to make sense.

        • Cayoung_8

this is true.  The other day I got almost 40 worth of stuff and only paid tax OOP.  I used coupons to lower my bill then rolled the ECBs earned through multiple transactions so that I only had to pay the tax.  It takes a while to get the hang of this.

      • Guest

The best way to start out is by buying something you DO need and would purchase anyway at that price.  For example, this week there is the toothpaste for $2.79 with a $2.00 ecb back – $2.79 is a pretty standard sale price, so you can buy that just like you normally would and then consider the $2.00 ecb to be a 'bonus'.  Buy 1 for $2.79 (use a coupon if you have one in order to pay less), get back a $2.00 ecb.  Then if you decide you want another toothpaste, buy the second one (since the limit is 2), use a coupon if you have one and use the $2.00 ecb you got back from the first one.  That will put you paying $0.79 (or less if you had a coupon) and getting back a new $2.00 ecb.  So you've gotten 2 tubes of toothpaste for $3.58 (or less if you used coupons) plus tax, and you still have a $2.00 ecb.  Then maybe you decide you've worked hard to get your cheap toothpaste and that you've earned yourself some chocolate, so you go pick up the Hershey's Bliss which rings up $5.99, you use your $2.00 ecb from the second toothpaste and pay $3.99 (or less if you happen to have the $1.00 coupon) and get back the $5.99 ecb.  Maybe then after the chocolate you figure you'd better take a little extra precaution for your oral health, maybe the toothpaste isn't enough, so you go back and buy the Gum Periobalance which is $15.99 – you use your $5.99 ecb from the chocolate and pay $10.00 and get back a $15.99 ecb.  At this point you will have purchased $25.56 worth of products and spent $15.57 (or less if you had coupons, plus tax), and you still have $15.99 ecbs to go toward future purchases.  ECBs expire about a month after they print, so you'll have a whole month to decide what you'd like to spend that $15.99 on.  If you are a member on savingstar(dot)com and have registered your CVS card, you'll also get a credit for $2.00 for the purchase of the Periobalance.

      • Gatorginger

Your first purchases will cost you a little bit more than usual but after that you basically get a lot of the stuff so cheap or free.  I love CVS and I was very skeptical about it at first and never went there unless I had a prescription.  But now it allows me to buy stuff I normally wouldn't buy because they were so dang high no matter what store you bought it at but now I can afford anything shopping here

      • FreedomSpradley1

The art of CVSing is rolling your ECBs.  You pay out of pocket first but once you get a couple ECBs you use them to pay for your next purchase/transaction to reduce your out of pocket (OOP) spending. I only shop the ECB deals and other sale items if they are free/oober cheaper with coupon.

If you are paying $5 for a bottle of bodywash with a $3 ECB and $2 coupon and getting $3 in ECB back it's free.  The fact that it was originally $5 doesn't matter!

        • ^^^ this.

I’ve gotten about $800 in product from CVS this year and I’ve paid out less than $40 in cash.

    • rebecca

I am a new CVS shopper and have already been disappointed. I went in there today to buy some items that had  ECB and was upset to find out that I could only get the max on the deals once for the entire week. For example on the colgate toothpaste it was 2.79 with a 2.00 ECB with a limit of 2, I didnt want to waste my time so i asked someone if I could get more than 2 and she told me that they keep track of it wit your reward card so only the limit is what is allowed. I dont guess I will go back there after I spend my ECB from this trip unless anyone knows of any way around this.

      • Jjfdv

There are limits so everyone can participate in the deals.  Once you start with CVS on a regular basis you will have more than enough toothpaste and a limit of 2 is plenty.

      • Stacyannw

There is no legit way around this, but you should be happy to get 2 for almost nothing or have them pay you for them.  If you buy 2 you can use 2 man q $1.00 so you will pay 1.79 each and get 2.00 back each to spent on something else.  And after a few weeks you could have a few toothpastes becasue they will do a deal like this almost every week.

      • They have had this deal like every other week for 3 months, the limits are there to eliminate shelf clearing.  I started the couponing week of 4/3/11 and have gotten 8-10 tubes on this deal, my family is set for a while.  Too bad you will be giving up on CVS in my short time I have gotten amazing deals and can always get them because shelf clearing is more difficult for people to do.

      • Trust me – if you follow this site you will never have to pay for toothpaste again… you'll pick it up a little at a time and before you know it you will be giving it away to charity because you have too much.  If you really need more this week there is a free toothpaste deal at Rite Aid and the limit is 4.

      • Guest

I know it's frustrating when you're just getting started, but you have to realize that there is always another deal around the corner.  CVS offers free toothpaste quite frequently.  So do Rite Aid and Walgreens if you happen to have those stores nearby – in fact Rite Aid has free toothpaste this week with a limit of 4 per household (and if you use coupons it becomes a moneymaking deal).  CVS HAS to limit the deals b/c there are so many people that want to purchase them – if the limit was higher like 5 or 10, not as many people could purchase the deal, and those people woudld become discouraged at the empty shelves and CVS would lose customers.  CVS wants to offer great daels to lure in customers, so they have to balance between offering enough to incentivize you into going to the store but keeping limits low enough so that as many people as possible can get the deal.  It's a fine art but not a science and they don't always get it right.  LOL  But take heart, toothpaste deals are not that hard to come by.  Give it a month or two and you'll have a stash that could last years.

    • Amanda

Has anyone found the Hawaiian Tropic lip balms in any of the stores in Cleveland, TN?  If so, which one?

Then got 5 powerades 1 LA looks gel, 1 herbal essences shampoo, 2 of the poligrip adhesives, spent my ECB from the last purchase plus a coupon for $1 off of 5 powerades, $1 coupons for each of the remaining items. Spent $2.48 and got back $6.50 in ECB for my next trip. I LOVE YOU CVS!!!!

    • Tgp4ntelos

      Hi everybody!
I'm still new at this and i have a question on the Schick Hyrdo 3 or 5 Razor, 1 ct., or Cartridges, 4 ct., B1G1 starting at $8.99 @ C@facebook-4702598:disqus VS this week. Since it is a store B1G1 can i use 2 manufacture coupons 1 for each razor or can I only use one since one will be “free”?
Thanks for your help and happy couponing!

      • Rosey4u8

        Use one for each item

        • Tgp4ntelos

Thank you thats what i was thinkin but i just wanted to be sure. THANK YOU!

    • Mappkidssave

I did really well tonight at CVS! I paid 14.26 OOP between 2 transactions for 5pks of Huggies brand pampers, big pack of Huggies Wipes, Big Can of Good Start and some other stuff and got back 15 ECB and $3 SS so it was FREEEEEEEEEEEE!

      • Garrett_michael1968

        how did you do that

        • Mappkidssave

A combo of coupons and like 3 weeks worth of ECB that I've been holding on to

          • Cayoung_8

I've noticed a lot of people count their savings when they use their ECBs.  I count my savings when I get mine and count them as payment when I use them.  So if I spend say 3.30 OOP with the use of 5.00 ECB I still consider it 8.30 paid for the products.  Am I doing calculating it wrong?

            • AmyK

It's up to you but I think most of us count the OOP… so with the example you've given I'd say you 'paid' $3.30 for the products.

            • Pat

Unless the $5 was due to a moneymaker I would count that as money  I paid. You have an inital investment when you start so that is real oop money. However it is nice when you can roll those ecb's for more product free and ecb's.

            • melissa

I calculate the way you do.  I dont count it “free” just because i paid $0 oop if i used ECBs thats money to me.

            • Dharvn

i count oop as money i have to get from my wallet…cash, dollars, and coins. when i go to the gas station i don't want ecb's in my wallet, i want money! ecb's are just store cpns…they do, however, make my oop less and thus keeps more money in my wallet.

            • Gatorginger

But really the ecb money is really free money because they give it to you for purchasing a product so it's freeeeeeee

            • Well I've been rolling ECBs for so long, I don't see much point in
counting anything other than the OOP. The rest was “free” money. Maybe
not in the beginning. But if I averaged in my “start-up” cost into my
figures now, I would still be buying these things for nearly free.
That's the point of “rolling”. In the beginning I didn't say that I got
stuff for free. I told myself that I spend however much (usually much
less than I would have) and that I even got money back for next time.
Now I just say “Woot! Spent $1.50 on 2 bottles of Pantene, one tube of
toothpaste, and 2 things of Almay undereye concealer. And to top it all
off– I still have $5 in free CVS money to spend next time.” The next
time I go, I'll spend about the same OOP, and get the same amount (or
more) back in ECBs that I just used. I don't see why I would count the
ECBs as “money spent” out of my pocket at this point. They're CVS
dollars that I've been recycling for a really long time. They don't cost
              me anything.

      • Posted a reply under the wrong post. Sorry!

    • I'm really curious – I printed an online coupon from CVS for 25% off – but says excludes sale items.  Is a buy one get one considered a sale item – calls it a “buy more & save” – is that the same thing ??? i'm confused.

      • Hailey Hurst 22

Think of it as every item in the store without a yellow or extra tag infront of the price on the shelf.

        • I wonder… Are clearance items considered “on sale”? I know there are some make-up items that aren't even marked as on clearance (they are missing the little stickers) but are ringing up clearance prices. Does anyone know if they would be included?

          • I bought the clearance Nyquil the other night with the 30% off email that said non sale items, it took the 30% off the clerance price making the Nyquil about .90 cents.

          • Guest

If the clearance price rings up automatically by the register, it will not work for the coupon.  If the barcode is marked through with a marker, the cashier will have to enter the price as a 'taxable item' and the register won't realize it's actually clearance, so the coupon will work on it in that situation.  So it dependson the item.

        • Dharvn

yes. my store accepts expired cvs coupons and expired ecb's. some stores do, just ask your store mgr.

    • Caroline

      Hi everybody,
New to couponing and I was wondering where I can get the P & G coupon book? I thought it came with the sunday paper? Anyone can please let me know where to get it. Thanks

      • Natasha

Hi Caroline. i recieve mine in the first Sunday paper of the month. So you can look forward to it every month. :) Hope that helps- Natasha

      • AmyK

The P&G inserts come in the papers but the books come by mail after you have either signed up at their website or by being eligible for rebates/etc.

      • MomOf4

Do you remember which ad the Q came from?

        • Hailey Hurst 22

Regional 6/19 ss or rp. Can't remember

        • stacy

one of the 6/19 ads..I'm in South Florida if that helps.

          • Themartins55

Stacy, I'm in Homestead…maybe we can exchange coupons when needed…

      • aria

I bought exact same things 4 face creams and 1 eye make up remover but on the bottom of my receipt it says “amount neded to earn reward $3.24”  so it didnt accept make up remover. And creams are $4.19 in here Dallas area.

    • Keatonfamily

Weird…I went yesterday and bought the 5.99 Zyrtek that I'd gotten a raincheck for last week, used my $5 coupon and pd. $1.04 OOP.  She then manually typed *whatever* it is she needed to to get my ECB from the deal.  First of all, it did $6 instead of $5.99, then I noticed the card number on the bottom doesn't match my card.  I didn't notice any of this until I got home b/c I had my kids w/me and was trying to make sure the little didn't run off.  I guess I need to go back and they'll fix it?

      • Isu2014

They always round up for rain checks so the $6.00 is correct. When I have rain checks, the number usually differs so you should be fine! My ECBs usually have my name on them so check that.

      • Cayoung_8

yeah you have to have it fixed because you won't be able to use that ECB unless you have the card its attached to.

    • Matt

Just started the CVS system.  Just to clarify: When a deal is listed above like 2 ECB wyb 2 pantene products with the LIMIT 1 after it, does the Limit 1 mean
      1) you can only get the 2 ECB back once
      2) that sales price is only for 1 time
      3) both?
      Thanks for any advice….

      • Keatonfamily

You can only get the ECB once.  As far as I know, you can buy more at the sale price.

      • Kheartcoupon

Like the $5.99 Zyrtec deal. I had a coupon for a free 5 count Zyrtec. When the receipt printed, I received $6 ecb. But when I got my second one, it was $5.99 (the sale price) but it did not print an ecb.

hi i am new to couponing and have done ok for the past couple weeks. my cvs has a deal for buy 2 get 1 free and i have a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free. if i used two coupons would i be able to get 6 of that item and pay for just 2? hoping i am calculating this right. thanks for your help.

      • Jill

Wouldn't it be 5 for the price of 2?  You buy 2 and get 1 free from the store ad = 3 items.  If you add 2 coupons to that and each coupon gets you 1 free item, then you get 2 additional free items.  So you get 3 items through the store sale and 2 items with your coupons = 5 items.  Am I right? Or am I confused….

        • Sunshinebabysite

If the store sale is B2G1, then you'd want to buy 6 total.  Get 2 free from the store sale, use 3 B1G1 coupons to get 3 additional free.  You'll get 5 free, pay for 1.  Even if you only have 2 B1G1 coupons, you should still buy 6 to get the 2nd free from the store sale.  HTH

    • Klathamcoupons

Went to  CVS  yesterday to get in on the Scotch tape deal B1G1. The gem tape (the one in the cute colorerful case) price on the tag says $1.99. They rung up for $0.49!!! Then I used 2 $1.00 off  Scotch Magic Tape coupons and got 6 rolls of tape for $1.21!!! I was super excited! Just wanted to share so others could get in on the great deal.

    • Gfloyd11

Help – what did I do wrong (or was it the cashier)?  I had a 30% off coupon for CVS that was expiring today.  I bought three 12-packs of Cokes (used a $1 off 3 coupon) at $2.60 each, plus two Herbal Essences shampoos (used two $1 coupons) at 2 for $4.97.  I saw the cashier key in the 30% off coupon.  In the end I paid $10.36 including tax.  There is a note at the bottom of my receipt that says 30% CVS coupon not used.

      • Sunshinebabysite

The %off coupons are never good on sale/ECB items.  Bummer, sorry.

        • Kheartcoupon

Oh! I used it once, and it worked. Sorry Gfloyd.

          • FreedomSpradley1

It will work on ECB deals if the item included is at full price but never when the sale price is less than regular shelf price.

      • Kheartcoupon

I did the calculations, it should have only been under $5. Go back in, with your receipt & ask for a price adjustment. I'm not sure if whose fault it was, but it really doesn't matter. Just keep a level head :)

      • guest

I doubt you can use the 30 % off on sale items.

      • Bradleyj120

you cant use the 30% coupon with sale items.

    • Shlwalls

Okay.. I am loving this site.. I am new to couponing all together.. However I am having a hard time figuring out what makes a scenerio and when to use fillers.. I just need to be talked through one or two a little more please.;..

      • Kheartcoupon

It's alright, I've been couponing for about a month. But I have saved about $400 so far (I'm a college freshmen, so I'm totally broke). But it's super simple! Try something easy, like buy the Irish Spring body wash. It'll pay for itself! then when you see something else you would like, this week or next, then you have that to discount on your next purchase! Soon enough, the calculations will start making sense. Need any help, we're here for you!

      • FreedomSpradley1

You only need fillers when you have more ECB than you owe at checkout.  If you don't buy a filler item they will adjust your ECB down to zero out your balance.  For example, you have a $2 ECB but your total after coupons is $1.79.  You can look for a cheap piece of candy or soda and pay a couple cents for it or the cashier will adjust your ECB to be worth $1.79 (essentially losing $0.21).

    • stillcouponing

Great CVS trip!  I went in to use up some ECB that I had got earlier in the week on my old card (maiden name) that I VERY RARELY use. I had bought Hershey Bliss and Protein bites earlier in the week and got back $8.48 in ECB between the 2 deals. I scanned my card when I went in today and got a coupon for 50cents off 2  dove bars.

Today I bought five 2-liter drinks at 79 cents each, 2 dark chocolate/raspberry swirl Dove bars for $1 each, Chex mix for $1.49, and a pack of gum. I had a 50 cent Chex mix coupon and the Dove coupon and the $8.48 extra bucks. My subtotal was -.67. My tax was .70 but the register  took the -.67 off the tax so I paid 3 cents!

Can I use to manufacter coupons for B1G1?  I saw that they have Schick Hyrdo 3 or 5 Razor, 1 ct., or Cartridges, 4 ct., B1G1 starting at $8.99.  I got two $3.00 coupons from facebook.  Can use them both?

      • Yes. Having two coupons for BOGO is the best way to score a great deal.

      • Erin

Yes one coupon per item. I used this method today. One coupon per item made the razor's .50 each!

    • Angelareid821

Question on the baby deal . . for the savingstar ecoupon for huggies, do I have to buy the diapers and wipes in the same transaction or can they be separate?

      • FreedomSpradley1

Must buy in one transaction for the ecoupon to work.

Has anyone tried using the $3 off any Revlon cosmetics CVS Q on the nail polish deal? It doesn't mention any exclusions or specifics, but was wondering if it maybe only applied to makeup like mascara / lip gloss / etc…  Any help would be most appreciated!

      • Gatorginger

    • Pennie

I was unable to find the Pledge coupon.  Do I need a certain zip code?  Thanks!

    • Afsnead

I am pretty new to couponing, and am LOVING CVS, but I was just wondering when you buy products and get ECBs back and next to them it says limit 1, does that mean that it is limited per transaction or total.  For example, if I have already purchased 2 Hawaiian Tropic skin care items and received the $10 ECB, can I go back and do it again and get another $10 ECB?

      • Gingiraffe

It is limit per total deal that week.  If you received the ECB for the deal and the limit is 1, then you will not get any more ECBs for that deal.  The bottom of your receipt should have the deal and say “Limit Reached” if you have done the deal or will tell you how much remaining you need to spend if you haven't gotten the full deal yet.  They track your purchase, so you can spilt a deal withing separate transactions to be less oop if necessary.  When you finally purchase all the items or total amount needed to get the deal, them the ECB will print.

        • Afsnead

      • Jennifer Mcgarry

You will only be able to get the deal once. Meaning you will only get the $10 ECB one time.

      • The sales are tied to your card, so you can only get the ECBs once or however many the ad specifies. However, you can still get extras of that item at the sale price.

    • Learoy

Yesterday at CVS, I purchased 2 Schick Hydro 3 razors @BOGO reg. price $8.99 and used 2/$4.00 coupons total OOP $.99.

    • Rosey4u8

did you know that you do not need to buythe $25 in one transaction at cvs :)

    • Rosey4u8

can somebody please explain to me how you make a profit with the power bar

    • Jastamiller

I need help!  Our computer was stolen and now I have a macbook pro.  I cannot get the coupons.com to print!  It says that it is not compatible?  Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?  It drives me crazy to not be able to print these great money saving coupons but I really don’t know what to do.

    • Fohala

I always get POed when the site (power bars, in this case) takes all my information, THEN tells me there are no prints for the campaign…is it just me?

    • new2coupons

for anyone who has the $3/2 pantene coupons you should hold them and use them at walmart. reason..at cvs the bottles are only 12 oz. at walmart you can get a 1liter bottle of pantene for 7.48 i think. if you buy 2 plus your coupon you will pay about 11 something plus. yes you are paying more but you gain about 21.5 oz per bottle. or if you dont want to buy the liter they have a 25 oz bottle for $5.48 that you could get and still get about 13oz more per bottle.

      • That is a good deal, but at CVS I am paying about 99¢ per bottle, and using my “CVS Dollars” to pay for it. So not only are those 12 ounce bottles super cheap, but I don't actually have to pay cash for them. That's a better deal to me, especially since I don't desperately need shampoo right now, and I'm just trying to build a little stockpile up. KWIM? Even if you break down the ounces in the bottle that costs $5.48 at Walmart, you're still going to end up paying about $1.99 for the 12 ounces that you're paying only 99¢ for at CVS. Not to mention, some of those CVS bottles have 25% more in them… So you're really getting 15 ounces of shampoo for less than $1– and you can use ECBs to pay for that. Just awesomeness all the way around. :-)

    • Farrahwright

Has anyone found the Hawaiian Tropic lip balm in the Atlanta area.  I can't find it in store or even on the website?  Where is it in the store?

      • Kristin

I'm in Marietta (East Cobb). The lip balm was in with the sunscreens.  There was no yellow tag under it, but it worked for the deal anyway.

    • Lindsey

I had a problem at my local CVS with the P&G deal.  I bought 2 head and shoulders and three packs of Olay bar soap since they were out of the body wash for a total before coupons of $29.45.  I checked the ad and verified that it could be the body wash OR the bath bar and I made sure to buy the right size (4.25 oz).  Unfortunately, I was home before I realized that I did not get the $5 ECB and saw on my reciept that only the head and shoulders were counted towards the deal.  I'm not sure what to do.  Has anyone had a problem like this?  Is there a way to email corporate or something of that nature?  The employees at my store are not knowledgeable about coupons and deals probably because there is so much turnover.  Any input is appreciated!
