    • Coupongal18

Glad to see that the Gas Promotion this week has a lot of other stuff other than “junk” food – dieting is hard when you already have temptations – LOL – Liking the diaper deal in the card deal – no, it's not extremely cheap but I have a lot of ECB's I need to use before they expire so that is what I'm using them for!!! :)

How does the gas card work – is it to a certain gas station or can we choose which one? Thanks

      • Bamacat

Some weeks they have a choice of gas cards and some there is only one choice.  They have had Shell and Exxon, I know for sure.

      • Danyeln

When I redeemed mine a few weeks back I had the option of Shell or BP.  It will likely vary by location.  Also, you have to ask for them at the register, they are not in the gift card rack with everything else.  (I made that mistake so thought I'd share)

    • kari

why wouldn't you use the b1g1 crossaction coupon with the $2 off crossaction. it would make it make it a $1 MM instead of free?

      • Jena2727

I was thinking the same thing! I can buy two and use BOGO and $2.00 Q, Correct?

    • Shenna

Am I missing something here.. I see PG 7/3 coupons, But on the coupon schedule it says there will not be any coupons this Sunday because of 4th Holiday?

      • Kristin

There won't be any RedPlum or SmartSource inserts this weekend.  Just the P&G.

        • Shenna

          Thank you!!!

      • couponinginatl

The only insert this Sunday will be the PG insert, she also has the preview here of it

        • Shenna

          Thank you!!!

    • Jamistoffel07

Question: When doing the oral B toothbrushes I notice the limit is 2 but in order to get both ECB's do i need to purchase each one in different orders or can i buy 2 and get both coupons on them? TIA

      • Sunshinebabysite

You can do either, if you buy them together, you will get one ECB for the whole amount.  I prefer ECB in smaller increments, so I usually try to buy them separately.

    • Mounit98

With the Axe deal…..Will these include the “Body Sprays”?
      Anyone know? Thanks!

      • Publix Chick

Not sure on that one myself. I guess we'll have to wait until Sunday to see.

      • Sarah

shes usually pretty good about saying exactly whats on sale because she gets it from the ad, which is also usually specific as well. so my guess would be that its only for the hair care, shower gel, or deodorant but you can always check out the ad online yourself before going in

    • Bah guess I will use my $10 in ECB on soda this week since they're expiring. I'm pretty well all stocked up on HBA items.

      • Sarah

I wish I had that problem of not knowing what to buy with extra rewards! haha, also make sure your store doesnt accept expired ones because mine will accept them 3 months after expiration date but I know each store is different

    • FreeSpirit4eva

the coupon for AXE @ zip 90210 says only good @ alberstons. could we still use at CVS?

      • Mandabud

If it's a manufacter's q with an address to submit it to you can use it at CVS

    • Braggbeth

Im surprised no one has caught the BIGI coupon from the PG 6/5 for the cross action toothbrushes. I plan on using that coupon and the 2.00, So-

2 Oral B Cross Action Brushes 3.00 each
      1- b1g1
      1- 2.00
      = 1.00
      and get back 2.00 ecb

      Thought I would share!

      • laura

I caught it too and was wondering why it wasn't up there and trying to figure out if it was a good deal or not! I was also wondering if you could use the $2 off from 7/3 as well?! Also with the Oral B Pular, there's a $2 off in the same PG (6/5) can't that be used as well??

        • laura

not with the previous deal, sorry I realized it sounded confusing. With the Oral B Pulsar deal, can't that 6/5 $2 off coupon be used instead of the 7/3?

        • Braggbeth

Yep I plain on using them. =)

          • laura

if you use two of the B1G1 would you have to do two transactions or can you just do one? The limit is 2 so I wasn't sure?!

            • Braggbeth

I plain on buying 2 toothbrushes (both oral b cross action) my CVS has always allowed me to use a B1G1 free coupon and a money off coupon together. And the limit is 2 ECB so I will get 2.00 back in ECB after spending 1.00

      • Katie

So, you can use both coupons to buy 2? I thought you couldn't use the B1G1 with another manu coupon.  THanks for your help this is a great deal!

        • Paige

I guess sometimes it doesn't work, if the bar code ends with a 14 ( I think) but otherwise it should work because you are buying one and getting the $off coupon off of that one and then the second one you should get free if you use the B1G1 coupon.

          • VP22

I checked, bar code ends in 14. I figured it would make it beep since those that end in 14 attach to both items.

        • Crane8880

so r u buying the 2 different toothbruses but using 2 seperate coupons the B1G1 and the $2 off and I'm correct or misunderstanding?

          • Paige

That is what she is doing.  2 items,  one coupon for a $ off, and the other is the B1G1 coupon.

            • Crane8880

so in all is she buying 3 or 2 toothbrushes just double checking cause CVS in becoaing a pain in my butt with my coupons they are not honoring what i'm coming up with

            • Aroberts14

She is buying 2 toothbrushes, and using 2 coupons. The b1g1 coupon and the $2 off coupon.

            • Tfrost99

My CVS won't do this any more.  The last time I tried it, she gave me a really hard time but did push it through. BUt, I was told no more!

            • FreedomSpradley1

Try a different store if you have one reasonably close.  I had this happen before and when I raked my items off the counter and told them I would just go to the store that allows both coupons (no beep, no pushing through) they changed their mind. :-)

    • Sha08

Question about ECBs….if I have a $5 ECB and my total due is $2, will I need to select more items so my total due is $5 or will they give me back the change?

      • Braggbeth

No you will have to get the total to 5.00, no change given

      • They will not give you change. Your total has to be $5 before taxes.

        • stillcouponing

Mine says before taxes too but twice recently I have had a few cents overage on my subtotal with extra bucks and it has taken it off my taxes instead of adjusting the price down. Cashier said sometimes it does this and sometimes it doesn't. It never hurts to try though. Better than buying another $1 item to use 12cents of EB overage.

      • Erkelly

You can give them your $5 ECB, but it will ring up as just $2 if that is your total. So you will essentially lose $3 unless you add more stuff or save it for a future purchase.

        • Sarah

I agree with this person. I think Rite Aid is the difficult one that the items have to be exact or more of the rewards money (for example, my item was 4.99 and they wouldn't let me use a $5 UP..but CVS generally will just reduce the ECB to whatever the price…but no point throwing the difference out the window thats why you try to plan to get the most for your money). I dont understand why all stores wouldnt WANT to reduce the rewards down, its less money out of their pocket

    • Snowski824

Are you getting rid of the acorn in favor of writing it out?

    • Tnncostello

i thought there would be no coupons 7/3 am i wrong

      • Paige

She said there will be a P&G this weekend. I saw it on her Facebook.

      • anniesmommy

There is a P&G insert this weekend.  That is all.

    • Crane8880

so I'm confused a little and new at this. I have no previous ECB's but i have the coupons for teh B1G1 toothbruses and the other $2 off coupon for the other toothbrush if I used both of these how much would I spend. I dont have but 1 of each of these coupons? Can someone help me please. Also,  the same with this past weeks special s on the deodant and mens dove products. My  store had no idea and gave me a hard time but I'm still tryign to find a great deal so I can stock up on this product.

      • Crane8880

I'm  also tryign to find the deal with the tampax.  i have the $3 off coupon

      • FreedomSpradley1

Just grab a raincheck for the Dove deal and wait for everything to come back in stock.  Your raincheck will be for the deal as shown in the sales paper ($5 men's b/w & $3.50 men's deod).

I'm not sure what B1G1 toothbrushes you are referring too.  I would start by purchasing one deal at a time to keep your OOP low.  Get one toothbrush using your coupon and the ECB will print.  You can use that ECB and another coupon to get the same toothbrush again (limit 2).  If you don't have coupons for any other deals just hold that ECB and wait for next week sales.  You're not going to get stocked in one week.  It usually takes a good 6 weeks so just keep patient and the deals will come.  Happy couponing!!

        • FreedomSpradley1

Found B1G1 coupon in PG 6/5.  You can go ahead and grab 2 CrossAction toothbrushes and use the B1G1 and the -$2 to pay $1+tax and get back $2 ECB.  Then use that $2 ECB and the -$3 battery coupon to get a Pulsar toothbrush.  Pay $1+tax and get back $3 ECB.  That's 3 toothbrushes for $2 and now you have $3 ECB to get your next deal.

    • Marymo

This is probably a stupid question, but you can't use ecbs to buy iTunes gift cards, can you?

      • Casey

        Nope :(

        • Marymo

          That's what I thought.

      • Laura

No and at my store you can't write a check either.  =(

    • Cori C.

Heads up I saw an article where they listed the top ten worst batteries and CVS batteries rated the worst! Apparently they don't last long at all so even at B1G1, you may do better with another brand//coupons. Just sayin

      • Amy

Agreed. Stupid things died in under twenty minutes.

      • Sarah

thats good to know! I'm sure still better than the 4 different packs of rayovac batteries from the dollar section at target that I took to use in my camera at a concert and they didnt even work at all. I was so happy that I planned and brought extra batteries (usually I dont plan so well) so you can imagine how happy I was when none of them worked lol

    • Amanokurosawa

Hi, i'm new to couponing and I have a question. For the free Schick Hydro Razor do you have to meet that total before coupons or does it have to be above that total after coupons? Thanks in advance

      • Sunshinebabysite

        before coupons

      • Bauercandace

        Always before coupons

    • Swmntchr

What time do the new deals rollover?  I was in CVS last Saturday and I thought I heard an employee saying that they actually start the deals on Saturday at 5 pm – does anyone know about this?

      • Sandra

Everyones store is different.  Mine starts at 1pm on Saturday

      • Branes12

        Mine starts at 6pm

      • Sarah

the time can vary with stores but remember its usually just for sale prices (69 cent coke for example)…you usually cant get the ECB to print until the actual sale day has started

        • Tbkerr

My ECBs print on Sat, as long as it isn't a three day only sale.  They don't have to make them print they just automatically print.

    • mc

I think I'll work out a deal with paper products and Tide to get the gas card.

    • mc

I think I'll work out a deal with paper products and Tide to get the gas card.

    • Rweav4

Hi, I have a question. If I bought the  Oral-B Pulsar Toothbrush the last time can you get it again and get the ECBS? thanks

      • Sandra

      • jennaj81

this is a new sale. when in question you can always compare the deal code #'s in the sale papers (they are listed under each description)

    • Lcp616

I got my first raincheck today on the dove men's deal this week. My husband loves the stuff! Can someone tell me if I can double dip this week? Like buy $15 in dove mens products, get a $5 up, and a free razor?

      • Branes12

I was wondering this same thing…….also if we go to a store that is not a 24 hr store after 6pm can we get both of these deals on the dove?  $5 ECB with a $15 purchase and the free razor all in one?

        • Sarah

I'm pretty sure you cant…because with rain checks they have to type in the sales code which automatically will tell the register what deal you are doing. I could be wrong but thats what they have told me each time I asked

        • FreedomSpradley1

Your purchases will qualify for current deal and raincheck.  I don't think you can get both weeks deals on Saturday through.  If the price this week was different from raincheck they price adjust to match raincheck.  If you meet current deal the register will automatically deduct cost of razor.  After transaction they scan receipt and manually print ECB for raincheck.

      • I think it is generally either or but I could be wrong.

    • Question about Recyclebank…I can't find the coke coupon. Wouldn't it be under the rewards tab and then food and drink? Do I have to put in a specific zip code?

      • Bh

not available at this time to order, may come back so keep watching

    • Natalie

Is there a waiting period for EBC's? Meaning can you use them the same day on another transaction? Thanks :)

      • AM

You can use them right away.

      • You can use them any time after they print.  They are valid for 30 days from day printed.

    • Taeila

With the Axe printable coupon, it says it is only usable at Albertsons. Does CVS still take it?

      • If it reads use at Albertsons & is a manu q than you should be able to use it elsewhere.  If it read redeem ONLY at Albertsons than you would need to redeem it only at Albertsons.  Having said all that, you will need to check with your store to see if they will take it.  It always seems to vary from store to store and up to mgmt discretion.

    • Jillian

I was trying to find the CVS briefs coupon I cannot find any will they post later. My mother-in-law buys these frequently for her daughter. Please tell me they are available.

    • Roxalot101

For the free razor promo , can you use a coupon for that? I know CVS allows you to use a coupon on free BOGO items, but does that same rule apply to deals like these?

      • jennaj81

        yes you can

    • Marie

I clicked on the link for the Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion coupon, but I can't find the coupon.  Can someone help me out and explain how to find the coupon on this link? :) Thanks!

    • Themartins55

Remember the Spring purchase ECB's were posted !!!

      • cs

lol woot i get a .50 ecb lol

        • Themartins55

I got $8.00 ! I do all of my toiletry purchases from CVS.

          • laura

I'm getting a $3 and I buy all my toiletries but it's still free money…just thought it'd be more! Oh wellz

            • guest

the less you get back is better because that means you don't spend a lot there out of pocket. A guy yesterday told me he got $18 back. I laughed because he obviously doesn't use coupons.

            • Ambie

Or his prescriptions are expensive (I do think they are included in the spending reward).  In which case, poor guy – some things you can't coupon.

              $18/.02 = $900

        • Sarah

thats crazy!! mine is 48 cents not too far off! lmao, but oh well I'd rather spend less out of pocket, since its only giving you 2% pack of what you spent

          • Sarah

      • Sara

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are you talking about? haha

      • Anonymous

Is it true that if it’s under .50 you don’t get it? I think mine was only like .30 haha!

    • CouponDude

The first two deals you have listed have the 7/3 PG coupons listed as the required coupon… Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there NO inserts in this Sunday's paper due to the holiday? According to your 2011 Coupon Schedule that is the case.

      • Jessdare101

I think they have changed it, not sure if Jenny’s list has been updated but a coording to sundaycouponpreview.com there will be a P&G.

      • Amber

There IS actually supposed to be a PG insert, just no Smartsource or Redplum.  I think PG usually comes out the first Sunday of the month.

        • Jjfdv

There is a PG for 7/3.  I have already received it.

        • CouponDude

Usually the first Sunday, but the first Sunday is a holiday. Have you looked at the Coupon Schedule on this site yet?

      • Sarah

I've heard there are going to be P&G coupon inserts in the paper.

      • I have heard that P&G WILL have an insert Sunday.

        • Gmcouponer

We go to sundaycouponinserts.com and can review the coupons that will be in our sunday paper. They vary a little of course but you will get to see the coupons just the same.

          • Wow, I was stupid to click on that! Not only did it just say “coming soon,” but I deleted all my checkmarks.

      • Ashley

their will be P&G on Sunday

      • Jen

LOL…I just find it comical that there are so many replies here.  Lots of helpful people! Just to clarify…Yes, there will be a P&G insert on 7/3!! :)

    • kristen

FYI…I received a new Pampers home mailer yesterday that had a coupon for $4 off a box of Pampers..check your mailboxes if you plan on buying the Pampers at CVS

      • Emzee228

I used the $4 off coupon I got at Publix this week to get the 216 package of wipes for free and used a $1 off wipes coupon on the free pack! Paid $15 and saved $15!

        • Yuliyaporter

I did  the  same  thong!!!! But  I  also  had  $5.00  off  Publix  Baby  coupon home  mailer..  which  made  it  a  very  sweet deal!!!!

    • Matt

Also- I believe Dunkin Donuts Coffee is on sale for $6.99. Pretty good price if you are famaliar with the price of the coffee.  Should be $1.50 off Dunkin TUrbo somewhere, but dont remember where.

    • Gmcouponer

Don't forget to scan your card today at the card center. It is going to print you ECB of 2percent on what you have spent this session. I just called and they said it starts this morning, but I didn't ask how many days you have to do it. So cash in its free ECB.

    • guest

****I went to the CVS EC card “magic machine” this morning (Friday July 1) and it printed a coupon for $2 off Pantene…when paired with the listed manufacturer coupon, that makes it FREE.****  :)

      • Proudlyamom

me too…wasn't expecting that…….it was awesome!

      • Proudlyamom

me too…wasn't expecting that…….it was awesome!

      • I did the same thing, AND it spit out $3.50 in ecb I didn't know I had! I got some free pantene curly mousse stuff to try out (have never used anything in my hair and just got a hair cut!) so I was excited to have TWO $2 off coupons! YAY!

      • I didn't get the Pantene but did get a $3 JF Color q

      • Ami

I went yesterdays and it printed out $5.00 off Clairol Perfect 10.  Pair that with the $3.00 pg making it free plus $1.00 profit because of the $1EB!!!

    • Sharris1659

How do you have coupons for 7/03 now?

      • Cheryl

She doesn't have them now, she is just letting you know you will be getting them on 7/3 which is when the sale starts, so you can use them then.

        • guest

I do have mine now. They came out in the local paper on Wednesday.

          • Shannonw1983

yall are lucky im in nc and dont get them till sunday

            • guest

Im in NC too. Check around for a few local papers.  I can buy three of those for what I can buy one sunday paper for:)

            • diane

I was out of town on Sunday.  Does the Charlotte Observer have coupons on Wednesday or another local paper?

      • AMY

Mine comes in Wednesdays paper….I have 5 P&Gs

        •  Where are you guys at? That’s really neat about your Wednesday papers. :-)

      • Rubies20

my wednesday paper has 2-3 coupon inserts in it every week it usually has 1 from the sunday before and 1 or 2 from the sunday after

    • April

Can you use the B1G1 Oral B Cross Action Manual Brush that in a former PG on the Oral B Toothrbush sale this week? Plus the coupon that comes out this week?

      • If you are asking can you use a B1G1 q and add a $/1 q then the answer is yes, it is allowed.  However, it won't always work b/c some b1g1 q's have certain coding (I don't feel comfortable posting it here w/out Jenny's permission) that makes the b1g1 q attach to both items and the registers will not allow a 2nd coupon in that case.

        • Liz

If I use the B1G1 coupon, would I still be able to use TWO $2off coupons also?

          • Yuliyaporter

no, just  one. On the  item  you are  paying  for

            • Liz

awe man, I knew that was too good to be true! LOL

            • laura

It's still free! So it's still a great deal!! You get a free toothbrush and only pay $1 and then get a $1 ECB back.

          • guest

I have used both at cvs before and had no problem. The b1g1 attaches to the free item. The $ off will come off the one you are paying for.

    • Deesinru2

can we only do the toothbrush deal once because it's connected to our card?  or can i go back the next day and do it again?

      • If it says limit 1 then that is your limit for the entire week/ad.

        • Deesinru2

    • Wooburne1

Use the red box today get a $5 ECB! Got mine.

      • Pennyvalpuesta

        how does that work?

      • keli wilson

how do i get the $5 ECB with the redbox..i just left going to redbox got a movie and got no $5 ECB…what did i do wrong

        • tiff

Redbox refers to the coupon center red box in the store, not the movie red box.

      • Harr386

are you talking about the cvs scanner redbox or the movie redbox and is the $5 your spring savings reward that started printing july 1st?

    • Sdonohoo

The K-Y Facebook coupon is just for $5, not $7.

    • Summerlinn12

      Ur great! thanks  bunches!!!

    • Cmsladams

The AXE would be $1.74….if they are $4.48 each, use a BOGO coupon and a $1 coupon it would be $3.48 for two and then divide that by two is $1.74.

      • Cmsladams

Nevermind….I forgot to figure in the register reward.

      • 3girls2boys

you forgot to take $2 off for ECB

      • Penny

i cant find the $1 off, anybody help???

      • Penny

i cant find the $1 off, anybody help???

    • elizabeth

For the deal with the free Schick razor- can I use a coupon for the razor even though I'd be getting it for free?

      • Thatrodfam

        • Penny

          how will this work?

    • Sarah

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have to get a lot of rainchecks b/c often times items are out of stock when I go later in the week. Every time, the cashier asks me, “how many do you want” and a few times at first I said, “can't you only get the amount it states on the limit” and they have always said that it didnt really matter for rain checks. is this true? I always have more coupons than products I'm allowed to buy so I'm thinking that I would almost PREFER to get a rain check if I can get more items free later, rather than a limit of 1. Since the cashiers have even been the ones to tell me this, is this considered 'cheating the system' or something that is okay since the store is saying it's their fault they didnt have enough stock?

      • Carrie

The limits usually refer to the ECB deals.  So rainchecks will get you the item at the advertised price but not the ECB.

        • Sheila

no at CVS the rainchecks include ECB that are to print. So I get the limit that is stated in the ad or 6 because that is what i have been told is the limit for a raincheck.

    • Bordenk

there were no coupons for incontinence items listed on sale and having coupons.

      • Mollieirene

Forget the incontinence products at CVS this week>>>>Go to the Green advantage flyer listing that Southern Savers put out effective for last Saturday…The The Tena pads are FREE for 2 packs with (2) of the $2.50 off coupons and a coupon from the green advantage flier, I got 4 packs for my grandma. :) good luck!

    • Surfergirl8989

Ok a little confused about the gas deal…so I have to spend $30 on participating products to get the gas card before coupons…so as long as the register rings up to $30 i can use all the coupons I want right? Also can I use my Ecbs on this deal?

      • Tiff

Yes, as long as the before is 30.00. Somehow I managed last week to spend 29.95 and I got my gas card. I used all my ECB's and coupons, and did not pay much at all and got my gas card. I just hate burning up my ECB's but gas is expensive!

        • Sarah

most of the time with the products offered, I find I could easily save 10 dollars buying the same products elsewhere..I havent done this deal once so far. not to mention a lot of the products I dont even need or want, so why spend 30 dollars worth? I think mentioning “gas card” is a way they hook you but you have to reallyyy see if the prices are worth it. if its not a price I would consider “a steal”, and only some of these products have had “acorns” beside them, then I feel its better to save my money/ecb

    • Crane8880

someone please explain the redbox thing to me I went today and got a movie but it didnt ask for my cvs card so how do i get my ECB's?

      • Surfergirl8989

She wasnt talking about Redbox the movie rental she was talking about the big reb box inside CVS that prints out coupons when you scan your CVS card. Its usually located right inside the door when you walk in

    • Liz

Can't you use the BOGO free Cross Action manual Brush coupon on this offer too? The one that exp 7/31/11

      • Amber

I think so, but it's actually a better deal to use 2 $2 off coupons than use the BOGO….I think.  Maybe that's why she didn't mention it?

        • Liz

          hmmmm . . . . maybe u r right.

          • laura

But if you combine it with the $2 off makes it an even better deal!

            • Etoniah

Here is what I was wondering use a $2.00 off coupon and Bogo coupon..You are gonna pay 1.00 out of pocket before ECB but you are going to get 2 dollars back in ECB for buying two brushes..so You would get 1.00 profit if you could combine the two coupons..

            • Etoniah

That is if it were allowed..

            • Laura

Thank you for answering my question!  I just want to make sure I am not breaking the rules on how to use coupons the right way since I've only started using coupons for like a month

      • Coupon62

my BOGO coupon says up to 3.99 and they are on sale for 5.99 so you are not actually getting the second one free.  I think that's why it's a better deal to use the 2- $2.00 off coupons.  But not sure.

    • Laura

I just noticed something, but correct me if I am wrong. On the Head on Shoulders deal can I get 2 bottles and combine the B1G1 from PG 7/03 and the $1.00 off on two products from PG 6/05?   Making them $1.00 for both instead of $1.49 each .

      • Liz

that's how I was lookin at it

      • Stacyannw

i don't think you can use a b1g1 and a $1 off 2 items in the same transaction becase one of those items will be free.  If it was just a $1 off any item you could use the b1g1 and $1off any but not $1 off 2.  i hope that makes since.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

No… That is why P&G has made it explicit on actual coupons “one coupon per specified item and QUANTITIES stated” By doing what you stated, you would actually be appling two coupons on one item, sometimes called double dipping…..

paying extra .49 cents wont hurt when manuf. are already providing you with so much and so frequently. I would just thank them for coupons and extrabucks they are rolling

      • Biolamom

Yes, if you are buying 2 items, you may use 2 coupons.

    • Laura

sorry I meant to say $1.00 each instead of $1.00 for both Head and shoulders

    • Bsccowgirl

Can someone explain why you would use the B1G1 for the razor when it is free already?

      • Sarah

are you talking about the free razor when you spend a certain amount? the b1g1 coupon listed isnt for the razor, its for dove

    • Liz

WOOHOO!!! Just logged into My CVS extracare acct and had $4 ECB !!! Luckily I checked cause it stated it was available only for print- could not be sent to the card. Check yours! Good luck!

      • Yuliyaporter

Is it  ExtraBucks reward for your Spring spending?  that's  what  my states …

        • Liz

Yes. For spring spending and exp 8/15/11

    • Anne

I am unable to find any of the undergarment/incontinence coupons when using links.  Any suggestions?

      • Deut28.2

Read the response by “Mollieirene” belowing regarding the great deal at Publix.

    • Wow, actually some decent deals for the gas card promo. TP, PT and detergent…just what I need! :-)

    • Dwashburn9

This list shows DAWN dish liquid on sale, but my paper and store has Palmolive.

      • SarahR

The Palmolive is on sale this week (sale ending 7/2).  The Dawn is in the ad for the sale starting 7/3.  CVS usually puts the Dawn on sale the week when the P&G inserts comes in the paper.  I just checked my CVS ad for tomorrow and it is in there for 99 cents.  ( I live in MD and the Wash Post delivers the ads/coupons to subscribers on Sat. )

    • NO $1 off Nature’s Bounty vitamin or supplement in either Rock Hill Herald or Charlotte Observer RP 6/29 have it! Walter tango foxtrot? I have a quick question about the  free Schick hydro 5 razor deal. I was gonna get 4 Gillette Body Wash and 1 Dove Men+Care deodorant. That would make my total 15.50 before coupons, Could I use 2 B1G1 coupons for the Gillette body wash and a 2 dollar off coupon on my deodorant and still get the razor for free?. That would make my total 7.50 and I would still get a free razor right? Thanks in advance :)

      • Samantha

the gillette body washes arent a part of the deal to get the free razor

    • kristen

I don't see the coke recyclebank coupon???

      • Sarah

I think it's out of stock

    • DorkandShorty04

How on earth do you get the P&G booklet?

      • Butterfli126

There is suppose to be one in tomorrow's paper.

        • Khjbcouons

i just finished cutting the p and g coupons from the atlanta sunday newspaper.. early edition. quite frankly.. there is not a lot to be had .. most of the coupons are duplicates of the ones we already have..maybe one or two have a different value but not often or by much.. i MAY go in the morning to get the final edition so that i have a set of 2 on the new coupons.. and sometimes the final edition will have a little something different in the parade magazine.. doesnt looks like a lot of gotta have it deals in any of the drug stores or grocery stores this week.. gonna be a slow week for couponing.. what ever shall i do.. the laundry,.. cook .. clean out closets..

      • jo

It depends on which one you are talking about . There was a large one that was mailed upon request back in January. It is not available anymore. The  P and G coupon  pamphlet comes out in the newspaper once a month.

      • Anonymous

There’s also a P&G booklet “in selected products” – I advise heading to a Target or Walmart and scouring the Charmin shelves – the packaging will say “coupon booklet inside.” I found one about 2 weeks ago at a Target.

    • guest

      I got a $1.50 off gillette CRT. .50 mm

    • DorkandShorty04

with the pulsar toothbrush its says 3.00 off adult or kids but looking at the cvs flyer it doesnt say any thing about kids or adult. I would like to get my kids a new toothbrush but im not sure if it would work out? Any thoughts,Ideas, or Answers? Thanks

      • Are you talking about the coupon? If I remember correctly, it's supposed to be for any battery-operated toothbrush (they make ones for kids too). But they only make the Pulsar toothbrush for adults. So to use that coupon for this deal, you would have to buy adult toothbrushes.

    • MalsMom

If I have a $4.00 of $20.00 coupon, Will it work before I use my other coupons or do i have to pay at least $20.00 total.

      • Smjjcj

It is before coupons.  Make sure you hand them your $4/$20 coupon first.

    • Sarah

if you still have the coupon for $1 off when you buy any ritz crackers and 2L coke (expires today), cvs has smaller packs of ritz crackers for 99 cents, and coke is 79 cents or 69 cents depending if the new sale has switched over..so you can basically get both for the price of just the coke. I had 2 coupons, plus a $1 ECB, so got four items for about 60 cents total

    • mrsmadayar

I have decided to jump ship on Rite Aid shopping and give CVS a try. I understand the basics of drug store shopping, splitting transactions, and rolling your store cash. I was hoping someone could give me a few tips for shopping CVS specifically. Like does it matter what order I hand the cashier my coupons & store card? Also, is the “magic coupon machine” in all stores or just some?

      • Sarah

cvs and rite aid aren't too much different, they are the only drugstores I shop at. at both stores, you should give $ off $$ coupons first (4 off 20, 3 off 15, etc) as well as % off total. then you give the others. you can use as many ECB to pay for your purchases as you want as well and # of items dont have to equal # of coupons you use. I would recommend signing up for an online account and attach your ECB to it, sign up for emails and the beauty club. beauty club will give 5 ECB on every $50 spent on particular beauty items and they also give you a 10% coupon when you sign up (so maybe dont sign up until youre about to buy a lot). they also will send you 3ecb on your birthday so make sure your birthday is on your account too. there is also a “green bag tag” that gives you 1 ECB every 4 times you shop (has to be separate days though, unless there is another store nearby I'm pretty sure you can go to different stores in the same day and it will count). but remember it only equals to be about 25 cents back each time you shop so depending on the location of the store, you could easily waste more gas if you try to make a million different stops to get $1 back. they usually say that to use the green bag tag, you either reuse a shopping bag each time, carry the items out with no bag, or have a reuseable bag. I got mine free a few weeks back from the coupon machine but I think otherwise they are 99 cents. those are linked with your cvs card as well so keep everything together if you are getting more than 1 card. most stores should have a coupon machine but I wont say all. remember to scan your card as many times as it will let you (mine usually does 2 or 3 before it says no more coupons available). also, have your card scanned first before giving products because it's a little more confusing looking at the receipt and prices for items when the card takes off everything at once instead of automatically showing the sale price. and to use the green bag tag, at least 1 item has to be scanned first.  I find that cvs isnt as strict as rite aid which is nice..they are more likely to reduce coupons and ECB for you, my rite aid store isnt very flexible, even 1 cent over and they wont reduce it. they will also give a 2% back on OOP expenses every yearly quarter, but obviously its better to keep your OOP low rather than get 2% back. they are also good about giving rainchecks and depending on your store they might accept expired coupons for raincheck items (if the coupon expired before the item was available). also, depending on the store, they might accept expired store coupons (mine has had 6 months later, 3 months later, and one cashier said not at all so thats why I say it depends). Wow, looks like I wrote a book

        • mrsmadayar

thank you very much for taking the time to type all that out to help me :)

        • Slb5711

So I can buy one item and use three coupons on it?  I am confused reading what you wrote: “# of items dont have to equal # of coupons you use.”  I'm just starting with CVS and can use all the help I can get!  Thanks!

          • Sarah

sorry, I wrote so much I wasnt too specific I guess. you can still only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item, I was referring to just total coupons (like if you are buying 1 item, you can use 1 manufacturer coupon and 4 ECB's if you want, theres no limit to how many ecb you can use)

            • Sarah

also theres tips, coupon policy, and a video links at the top for more basic help.

          • Chris53236

Just FYI, the ECBs will only cover the remaining subtotal (before tax). anything over, and it will tell the cashier to reduce the value of the ECB coupon.  Also, anything % off total purchase at CVS will not work on items on sale, money services, or government regulated items (tobacco, alcohol, perscriptions)

    • Dawnhon

Where can I find a Cvs rejuvinating beauty magazine ? Cvs told me that they don't give out coupon books anymore.

      • jo

you have to purchase it for around 99 cents. it is usually located in a small rack placed on one of the cosmetic displays.

      • Qponqweenbeth

also I have notived that in some of the CVS stores in my area these books are located towards the front of the store and some are “hidden” on one of the shelves.  I asked at one store and the cler was able to take me right to them :)

    • Amy

Will this deal work?….. If you buy 2 Oral B Crossaction toothbrushes for $3 each….. and you use a B1G1 coupon from the June P&G, and also use a $2 coupon for Crossaction toothbrush coming out in tomorrow's paper….. can you do that? And wouldn't that be a $1 moneymaker? You'd pay $1 but get $2 ecb back?

      • Sarah

seems to be right as long as the B1G1 coupon is for that particular toothbrush, I dont have it in front of me to check

        • Jacketfan24

I was wondering the same thing…it's worded “b1 crossaction manual brush g1 crossaction manual brush free up to 3.99″…it sounds like it would work but since she didn't list it, I wasn't sure.  I think it's the same thing.

          • Amy

yes, that's the one I have. Would this work as a moneymaker?

            • Lorri

I just did this at my CVS a few minutes ago.  Worked fine.  I wonder why Jenny didn’t have the coupon listed.  I came across it by accident while looking for the other one.  I love little surprises like that. :)

      • Catherine Taylor

Yes, and no.  The B1G1 coupon is “coded 14,” which means that it “attaches” to both products, instead of one.  So, it won't let you use the $2 coupon as well.  Now, per “CVS unofficial policy” in the link above, they should let you use 2 coupons for 2 products, so your cashier may override it.  YMMV.  I decided not to bother b/c we can get free toothbrushes all the time, so I just got the one for free.

        • Amy

Ok, that's so confusing. Thanks for the help. I'll stick to Jenny's plan.

    • Melissa Colvin

My CVS has the extra bucks deal for the Coppertone but it's $9.99. Is it supposed to be on sale for $7.27?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        the sale starts Sunday

      • aria

They activate sunday promotions on saturday after 4 pm. thats how i ve been shopping lately otherwise can not find anything on shelves. I have had $2.50 coppertone coupon from red box plus 2/ $1.00 off coupons but price is $9.99 unfortunetly. still bought them though it is pool season for the kids.

        • Carrieluvsgreg

Not all CVS stores start the sale on Saturday.  I called our local store and (they are a 24 hour store) and asked when the Sunday sale begins and they told me Midnight on Saturday night.

    • Coupongal18

Ok – so I read somewhere on this site earlier – cant remember where – that someone gets the coupons for the week in their Wednesday edition of the paper – does the Upstate in SC do this ? I would love to get the coupons on Wednesday rather than sunday, especially the ones that I need for the sales starting on Sunday – I feel like getting them on Sunday makes me “rush” because I want to get there before all the shelf clearers do their thing…….I know it's silly but having the coupons laid out and ready just makes it so much easier for me!!!

      • Coupongal18

It was Rubies20 – do you live in Upstate SC? Or does anyone know if the Wednesday edition has coupons in it?????

      • SaraLK

The Greenville New sends out a little free edition on Wednesday, it comes in the mailbox & you only get it if you do NOT subscribe to the paper. It does have coupons in it, but only the Smart Source pack that was in the previous Sunday paper.

In the Durham, NC area, a lot of folks get a mini RedPlum in the mail.

    • Mershai219

I followed some of the suggestions last week and saved a ton of money.  I love this website.

    • Shenna

Anyone been able to print/locate the $1 Axe q? I put in zip code and still can't find it ;(

      • raj

I didn't find it as well … can we use the $1 with B1G1 ?  thanks.

        • Chris53236

Not in all stores, it depends on the area.  I know in Florida you cannot mix manufacture coupons (at least in my area).  A BOGO coupons cover both products, so you would not be able to use another manufacture coupon.

    • Brookie456

Went to my favorite CVS the other day and had several rainchecks to use. Instead of price adjusting (as usual) the cashier rang up the items and then entered in a “CVS coupon” to adjust the price down to raincheck price. This sounds all good and fine, except I would have paid tax on the full price, not the raincheck or adjusted price. Cashier said this is a new CVS policy, anyone else had this problem? I'm just frustrated bc if the item had been in stock it would have rang up at sale price and I would have paid tax on sale price, not full price!

      • nykia

I work for CVS and that is not a policy. The cashier was probably being lazy or in a rush to move the line because they knew they had to price modify everything one by one if u had a large quantity of items.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is no tax on store coupons or discount amount taken off right under the actual product. So you probably paid tax on actual sale price still. Registers are programmed to take off discount or store coupon price away when calculating sales tax.  Do a test yourself by doing some math to see on what price you paid tax on-it is not difficult to do manually.

On a side note, if the casher had taken off the discount price as manuf. Q, then you woud have paid unnecessary extra tax and it would probably be agins consumer protection laws and regulations

    • Dhhall1964

What is the rock bottom price for peanut butter? Just wondering.

      • ireneY

Gotten them at Publix for about $.35. House brand is also a penny item on occasion.

        • Angelascoupons1

Wow! I never find it that cheap. I was going to say that $1.50 was a good price. Anyone find PB for less than $1 at HT?

      • Love2Q

I just got a bunch of jars for free + profit, so I guess it just depends on what stores you have, whether they double, how good their sales are, and what coupons are available during those sales. The sale price on mine were $1.05 and I used a manufacturer's and store coupon. Even without the store coupon they would have been a mere .05, which is unbelievable. That is however an extreme rock bottom price and I wouldn't advise waiting/looking for something that low, it's just to let you know what's possible more or less I guess.

    • Jen_in_tn

Can I use my ECB on the $30 gas card deal? Or they considered coupons as well?

      • Susan

        You can…won't count against you

        • Jen_in_tn

          Thank you!!

      • Chris53236

Coupons dont count against the $30 for the gas card at all.  It adds up the product value.

    • Catherine Taylor

WooHoo!  Got a $2/2 Pantene, Herbal Essences, or Aussie coupon from the magic red box today!  I used it to get free Pantene for the ECB deal (“last week”).  I finally redeemed my rainchecks for the 6 ct. oral-b vitality brushheads (2 @ $29.99 w. 20 ECBs, retail $100)!  So, I got a total of $170 worth of stuff for $5 oop and 17 in ECB attrition (I've been saving them up for a while).  Yay!!

    • Bamabug001

MAke sure you check the prices at your local CVS b4 making you transactions!! The prices at mine are often .20 to even $2 higher…Makes a big difference when calculating your out of pocket.

      • Cattyjenny

When I go to the next town over for CVS, there are 3 stores and they all have different prices. The one store I like best for always having sale items in stock happens to be the most expensive place! grrr! My 2nd choice has the lowest prices, but they never carry the planters nutrition bars or the ritz crackerfuls.

    • Bamabug001

Make sure you check your local CVS's prices before you head out with your lists!! My CVS's prices are .20 to even $2 higher in price!! Don't want to be looking confused in the aisle or at the register! (I know)

      • Chris53236

The online prices are usually always lower than the store prices.  And each store will have different prices for some items.  The only definite prices, are the ones in the sales ad…

    • Guest

my ad is showing bounce and the tide stain action packs on sale for $3.99–if you did the recent tide facebook freebie deal they sent $2 coupons with that so you can get them for 1.99..seems like a decent price for them. I was planning on spending around 15 anyways and I was sent a $4 off $20 coupon for registering on the cvs site so I'll make it work and cover the difference

    • Carrieluvsgreg

I found last week that the prices of my local CVS stores differed.  I went to the closest location to my home and the Wisk detergent that was BOGO was out of stock, but the shelf price was $8.39.  I went to a second location later in the day and found plenty to purchase, but the exact same product had a shelf price of $8.99! The two stores are about 20 miles apart, in the same county but different zip codes.  Weird!

      • Angelareid821

They were 8.99 at my CVS too. Thought that was a little high to begin with . .  . my nice cashier who wrote the raincheck said “that is crazy!”

      • Chris53236

The stores are priced for the areas, they are not all guaranteed to have the same prices unless mentioned in the sale ad.

      • mommyof1

same here.. we live in a small town and luckily among the few stores, cvs is one of them. They are a tad higher than the town adjacent to us. We go into town frequently to do our walmart/grocery shopping, but the cheaper cvs is much harder to deal with. the cashier who is always there, she never gets a day off i guess, isnt too friendly and had gotten confused rather easily when something didnt ring up with the ecbs correctly and after explaining to her a dozen times just decided to get a refund on the item. i would rather go to our cvs, spend a few cents more, but have a better experience with the friendliest cashiers i have ever dealt with.   but cvs stores within a certain mile range should be the same in price, imo.

    • Bgriffith99

I tried to use my $5.00 ECB on some purchases yesterday, and the cashier said it counted as a coupon and wouldn't let me use it in combination with the other coupons.  He said only one coupon per item.  Does this sound right?  I guess I assumed it was almost like a gift card that could be appied to the purchase after the coupons.

      • He was wrong, they work like cash.

        • Kristin

Yeah he was wrong. I used mine right after I made a purchase.

      • jennaj81

maybe he is new because he was definatly wrong! you should tell the manager about this–not to get him in trouble, but so they can correct him before he tells too many others the same thing.

      • Chris53236

I would recommend to everyone to give all manufacturer coupons first (starting with BOGO) then give store coupons for items, then see what ECBs you can use, this way the system wont put the ECBs towards an items value and your coupons will apply properly.

    • Ginnileec

I bought the rejuvenating beauty magazine on 30 June cut out all the coupons only to fine out they were all expired that day.

    • Fallentear81

****Coupon Machine Print Outs****  Free 1.4oz Hershey's Air Delights Bar, $0.50 off bottle of Big Chill Purified Water 20oz,  $2.00 off Skittles,Starburst or Life Savers 14oz or more. ****These are what printed out for me today at the CVS coupon machine so make sure you scan your card when you go there. I couldn't find the Big Chill water bottles so let me know if any of you do.

      • Love2Q

They sell in Atlanta area stores for $1.49 as I got some free when I bought Ritz Crackerfuls using coupons from the redbox a week or so back.

    • Jacketfan24

I went this morning and decided to try to use both the B1G1 CrossAction Q and the $2 off Q since there has been a lot of debate about it…I was able to use both Qs and the register did not beep on the transaction, so it's okay to use both.  It would have beeped if it wasn't allowed by the coding on the coupon.  I was okay with using just the B1G1 (I didn't want to buy two papers to get the second $2 Q since I can get one free from my mom later) if it didn't allow it, but the cashier and the register had no problem at all.  I also got a free Hershey Air Delight coupon at the box as well as a $1.50 off Gillette body wash.  Combine that with the $1 off and the B1G1 she listed, and I can get 2 bodywashes for .50!  With a house full of teenage boys, I can never have enough body wash!
      Happy shopping everyone!

      • Chris53236

Not all stores will allow it though.  I know a couple where that wouldn't work….

    • agamemd

Sorry I'm new to this. What do the acorns mean by some of the items? I've seen them by items from other stores as well (publix). Thanks! Can't figure it out!

If your referring to the little blocks beside the coupon amount above, I'm of the understanding it means Manufacturer Coupon.  Just lets you know who the coupon is through.  Some will say S meaning store coupon

I have a cvs coupon (that printed out at the registrar . . . a Catalina I think?) for 1.50 off gillete body wash. I also have a manufactures coupon for 1 dollar off and a bogo free manufacturers coupon. Can I use all of these together on 2 body wash?

      • Jacketfan24

yes, you can.  I got one too this morning but since she put in the regular price of 4.99 for the B1G1, I could only use the 1.50 one that printed.  It was a  .49 overage, which is actually better than using the two stacked and getting only $3 for the B1G1, which would have cost me .50.  She gave me back the $1 Q to use another time.  I got two caramals to use up the overage and got two free body washes!

        • Chris53236

Just FYI, not all stores will take a manufacturer BOGO and $ off manufacturer for just 2 items.  Here in Florida the system rejects most combinations like that.

      • Amy

Yes you can. I did the very same thing today. :)

      • Mommysauls

Yes Well at least you can in Greenville NC! :)

    • Melissa

Great trip at CVS this morning! I spent $3.22 and saved about $50!!!
      2 Boxes of Q-Tips (1.00/2 q)4 Toothbrushes (2-B1G1 & 2-$2.50 q's)2 Head & Shoulders (B1G1 q)1 Tampax Pearl (1.00 q)1 Large Bag of Starbursts ($.50 w/ coupon from card scanner)1 Hershey Air Delight Bar (FREE w/ coupon from card scanner)Used a $5, $5 & $2 ECB and still have $14.50 in ECB's left!

      • Akanemb

do you mind sharing your trans sequence? I would be interested in knowing how you did that. I am still trying to figure out how to put the transactions together to make the most money.

    • Couponclippingmom2011

I also have a bogo q for oral b cross action and a 2 dollar off q, can I use both of these? I am still figuring out the whole coupon stacking thing

      • Glenda

Yes you can. I used the BOGO and the $2.00 off this morning with no problem. And I received 2 ECB back!!

        • Chris53236

Only at some stores.  There are stores that will not allow certain coupons to stack.  The system sees that BOGO coupon as going towards the 2 products, meaning you cannot use another manufacture coupon on those products.

        • Krissyhampton

where did the BOGO coupon come from?

          • Akanemb

BOGO came from the PG 6/5

      • ceeci1009

Yes, I just went and asked the cashier and he said that you can stack a BOGO coupon with a $$ off coupon. It makes the cross actions a $1 MM this week, yeah!!!

    • KK

I went to CVS today and got Cristophe' anti-frizz conditioner for .07. It was on clearance for $2.07 and there was a $2 off tear pad coupon. Good unexpected find!!

      • Chris53236

Just for some people that would expect this at any store.  Clearance items are only set for clearance at certain stores, not all stores may have a certain product on clearance.

    • Blueyesmandy

Does anybody know if Dr. Pepper is included in the Coke 2 L for $.69?

      • Amanda

Dr Pepper is a Pepsi product. Mr. Pibb is the closest thing Coca-Cola offers.

        • BethC723

I live in Memphis and Dr. Pepper is always on sale with Coke.  Dr. Pepper is actually it's own product, but is grouped with Coke here and I guess Pepsi other places.

          • mommyof1

my dad is an inventory control manager for pepsi in florida.  dr pepper is its own “brand” or product but pepsi does carry it as well as other “brands” that are not pepsi such as chips and other items that you wouldnt think pepsi would distribute. so i guess it all depends on where u live, but i dont see how it would be a coke product, but who knows =)

          • mommyof1

Dr. Pepper is a pepsi or coke product depending where you live in alabama. Prattville and montgomery it is coke.

        • connie

It all depends where you live. I lived in KY and it was Pepsi there. We moved to SC and it's Coke here. So it all depends on your location.

      • Chris53236

Dr Pepper is included in Pepsi sales at CVS (usually).  The sale includes (but may not be limited to) Coke, Sprite, Seagrams Ginger Ale, and maybe Fanta (I know theres one orange soda included).

      • Olivia

My CVS specifically wrote on the sign “exculdes Dr. Pepper” :)

      • Glenda

I am in NC and the Dr Pepper was included with the coke products. I bought them for 69 cent a piece this morning

      • Cherylannh27

Dr. Pepper is a coke product. Look at the design of the bottle which is exlusive to Coke. However, the ad said selected varities

    • Shannon

I have a question about the Beauty Club spending….When I walked into CVS this morning I had already earned $49.41 towards the $50 needed to get the $5 ECB.  I bought a clearance Wet N Wild lip gloss for $1.50.  Shouldn't my $5 ECB have printed out today or will it not come out until my next visit to CVS?

      • couponing rocks!

It will come out your next trip.  If you scan the redbox it will print there or if you don't it should print at the bottom of the receipt.  It takes a day or two for the beauty club totals to update.

        • Shannon

          Thank you!!

    • i couldn't find the AXE coupon… otherwise, that would be a good deal.

    • Tasha

There is a b1g1 Q for the oral b cross action toothbrush in June PG that allows you to get a really good deal on the toothbrush

    • couponing rocks!

Here's my trip to CVS – I ended up doing a second transaction to burn some ECB's.
      1st Transaction
      2 – Oral B Pulsar Toothbrushes @ 5.99 each = 11.98
      2 – Oral B Manual Toothbrushes @ 3.00 each = 6.00
      1 Always Infinity Pads = 3.99
      1 Hershey Air Delights = 1.19
      Tax = 1.86
Total before coupons after tax = 25.02
      3 off 15.00 from previous receipt (3.00)
      2 – 3.00 Oral B Batter toothbrush (6.00)
      1 – 2.00 Oral B advantage toothbrush (2.00)
      1 – B1G1 Oral B toothbrush (3.99) she took off 3.99 instead of 3.00
      1 – 1.00 Always (1.00)
      1 – Free Air Delight (1.19)
      ECB's used (5.98)
Total OOP = 1.86 for tax
Received 14.00 ECB's back (2.00 were spring spending)

Then I got to the car & realized I had around $45.00 in ECB's, so I decided to go back in & do the gas deal.  Not a great deal in my opinion, but I needed to use up the ECB's.

      2nd Transaction:
      2 – Charmin toilet paper @ 9.99 each = 19.98
      1 – Always pantiliners = 2.99
      1 – Dawn dishsoap = .99
      2 Pantene Pro-V = 6.97
      Tax = 1.75
      Total before coupons =  30.93
3 off 15.00 (3.00) for some reason I have been getting these all the time lately
      2 – .25 off Charmin – (.50)
      1 – .50 off pantiliners (.50)
      3.00 off 2 Pantene (3.00)
      ECB's used (23.00)
      Total OOP = 2.68
      Received 10.00 gas card & still have 23.00 ECB's

    • Ashleighdk

I am a new CVS shopper so please excuse the question that has probably been asked a thousand times:
If I buy two of one product that has an ECB offer on it, will I get the full amount of ECBs in that transaction or do I have to separate it into multiple transactions? For example, the Oral B advantage or cross action deal. If I purchase two of those in one transaction, will I receive $2 ECBs or one?

      • You will receive $2. :-)

        • Ashleighdk

          Thank you so much!

          • that being said- for the larger amounts its best to do two separate transactions so as not to have a large ECB amount.
for example this will print up one 2 ECB as opposed to 2 $1 ECB.
for deals where you get like 6 ECB back you dont want to do it together because sometimes its harder to use $12 EB in one transaction…
            does that make sense?

      • Janice

The Oral-B deals each have a limit of 2, so you can do them both twice in the same transaction.

    • Mizamyliz

Did ok today, not my best haul and probably could have done it in fewer transactions, but frankly sometimes I don't trust my own math. Here it is:

Had $10 ECB from previous trips

      Trx# 1
      1- Oral B Manual Toothbrush Reg $2.99
      -$2 MFC
      -$1 ECB

      Total Free OOP
      Got $1 EBC Back

      Trx #2
2 bottles Head and Shoulders On Sale $4.99 Each
      – B1G1 MFC
      – $5 ECB

      Total Free OOP
      Got $2 ECB Back

      Trx # 3
1 box Clairol Nice and Easy Foam On Sale for $7.99
      -$3 MFC
      -$5 ECB

      Total Free OOP
      Got $1 ECB Back

      Trx 4
1 Gillette Fusion Razor On Sale for $9.99
      – $4 MFC
      -$6 ECB

      Total Free OOP
      Got $4 ECB

So, I was pretty much just paid $5 to take this stuff out of the store. Works for me.

    • Janell

Does anyone know if I can use $4 off $20 from my email and $3 off $15 from my receipt in the same transaction??

      • Guest

no, if you look at the “unofficial coupon policy” at the top it says something about only being able to use one “offer at the register” $ off coupon

    • When I scanned my card at the magic red box, I got a coupon for a FREE Hershey's Air Delight bar. I also got a coupon for $2/2 Pantene (or Aussie, or Herbal Essence) and I used it along with my $3/2 coupon to get two shampoos for 99¢ each… Which was nice, since I wasn't able to make it out for the deal yesterday. I also got a $2-off Motrin PM coupon… Not sure how I'm going to use that, but I do love the stuff, so it was nice. :)

      Today's purchases:

2 Oral B Advantage tooth brushes
1 Oral B Pulsar (The last one. Poo.)
      2 Head & Shoulders shampoo
      2 Pantene shampoo
1 Christophe volumizing creme (Had a $2-off coupon, and it was on clearance for $4.74)
      2 Newspapers
1 Hershey's Air Delight chocolate bar

      Coupons used:

      (1) $5/$25 emailed coupon
      (2) $2 off Oral-B Pulsar, CrossAction, Advantage toothbrush coupons
      (1) $3 off Oral-B Adult or Kids battery toothbrush coupon
      (1) B1G1 Head & Shoulders coupon
      (1) $2/2 Pantene products (CVS coupon)
      (1) $3/2 Pantene (manufacturer's coupon)
      (1) $2-off any Christophe product (CVS tearpad)
      (1) Free Hershey's Air Delight (CVS coupon)
      +$12.50 in ECBs

Total Spent: $2.20 OOP (including taxes)
      ECBs recieved: $7.00

      • Carleezclippin

I haven't been q'poning since end of May. That dang Red Magic Machine has given me 1 qpon~$5. off $20.00 purchase of cologne. Whats the secret?

        • I wish I knew!  This is really the first time I've gotten something decent. Usually I just get the same ones as everyone else.

    • Liz

Im trying to print the coupon for protective undergarments, but when I go to the link, it”s not one of the coupons offered.  Will the coupons online at the CVS site update later in the week?

    • Mcleodsc

Boo-Boo! I waited until after church to go to CVS. I had my coupons, scenerio written out and someone just about wiped out the sales items at one of the CVS stores. So I bought  a few things, went home, regrouped, and headed off the the other CVS store. This one had 7 of the Smuckers-so I bought 6 to reach $15 for the deal. They had lots of Lumene, so I thought I got that deal but ended up $1.76 short of the $20. Some of the other deals I could not do because they did not have enough of the items that I had coupons for to do the deals.

      • Guest

hm..you are mad that someone else cleared the shelf but then you took 6 out of 7 smuckers

        • Susan

Doesn't sound like mad… just disappointed.

      • jo

You will benefit more from going to church. The Lord will honor your obedience. I am not saying this in jest or judgementt. I am genuinely glad you go . I was thinking as I was driving to church today that many of the stores seem to be anti christian by trying to make Sunday like Black Friday. Up until 2 weeks ago we still had blue laws in place amd most places didnt open until 1.30..  I try my darnest to stay out of the stores on Sunday. I want my children to realize there still is a day set aside.

      • CouponFan

We wake up early so we can stop at at least two on the way to church. You'd be surprised how many times products have already been cleaned out at 9:30 a.m.

      • Tballenger

I know what you mean. By the time I get home from church and get to the store the shelves were bare.

      • Mistie

I had this issue many times before I came up with a MUCH better solution. Ask your drugstore what day their weekly truck comes. Every week one day they get a truck to restock their store. Then go the day after. (give them a day to stock the shelves, or go that evening). The sales last all week so you don't have to go on Sunday like most people believe..although I know it is hard to wait to use those coupons :)
Myself, I save Sunday for the Lord and family..couponing can happen at CVS on Thursday evening for me with stocked shelves and less stress.

        • mommyof1

we usually go on sundays.. but didnt get to go until saturday afternoon (the end of the sale) and everything was gone.. first time gettig rain checks.. but the girl made it so simple and my rain checks say “these do not expire”.  the coupons i have for the items are good until the end of the month, so i figure they should get some things in before then.. plus you get ecbs still.. she even talked me into another raincheck for an item i wasnt planning on getting but it would be free after ecbs.. =) i love cvs and now wont worry about getting there at the crack of dawn anymore – i'll just plan on rainchecks for the things i know will be out.. like tampons, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and certain body wash.

    • idellstewart

Can someone tell me how you are allowed to use the PG coupon from 6/05 when they expired the end of June?  For example the $3 off for the Oral-B toothbrush.

      • Well, we were able to use those coupons because they DIDN'T expire at the end of June.

Those P&G coupons are good until the end of July. At first it was speculated that they were good for so long because there weren't supposed to be coupon inserts this weekend. But they ended up releasing a P&G coupon book anyway… So there you have it.

      • faithweaver

I know our CVS will take expired coupons that are 3 days or less expired. Today I used several coupons that expired on June 30th.  Have I mentioned how much I love CVS?

        • Wow. I wish I knew of any CVS near me that would take expire coupons!

      • Carleezclippin

        Ours expire in July.

Yesterday was my first ever attempt at couponing.  Bi-Lo had split chicken breasts on sale for $.89/pound.  I bought 78 pounds for $69.42.  I brought them home and stripped the bone and skin from the breasts and separated the breast tenderloins.  I sold the boneless skinnless breasts to a neighbor for $4.00 per pound (62 pounds of boneless skinnless breasts) for $256.  Another friend of mine bought the tenderloins for $5.00 per pound (about 8 pounds) for another $40.  So, because of the Bi-Lo special combined with my neighbor and friend's laziness, I turned my $70 into $296…that's a profit of $226!  However, I did have to pay sales taxes at the store and it took about an hour of my time to strip the bone and skin from the split breasts.  Still, not a bad day…

      • Guest

umm..what does this have to do with cvs or couponing? didnt seem like you used a coupon, you just bought on sale, cleared the shelves, and made a profit off your own friends. I wouldnt even call it laziness, that doesnt even make sense b/c you can find it for less than 4 and 5 dollars a pound so why buy so much

      • Sounds like your friends could use a little advice on how to be a little more thrifty with their grocery shopping. It would be a chilly day in Hades before I spent $4 per pound for boneless chicken breasts or $5 per pound for chicken tenders.

Also, this might be something you'd like to repost under Bi-Lo's weekly comment thread.Though I don't know how much help it would be to anyone checking out their deals, since I doubt that many people have friends or neighbors as gullible as yours.

    • connie

Anyone familiar with recycle bank know how long it takes to get coupons in the mail once you've turned in your points for them?

      • Chandal_ruth

I got mine within a week.

      • connie

I was going to order some Coke coupons from Recycle Bank and there aren't any. The $1 off was gone too.

    • Hair product question

Novice question: above says to use two manufacturer coupons and get the herbal essence or Aussie product for $0.98. Can you use both manufacturer coupons in one transaction?

      • I think they mean for you to use the $1-off coupon on your first hair care product, then use the $3-off coupon on an accompanying styling product. So yes, you can (and should) use both in the same transaction. This will bring your OOP total to $3, and then you will get $1 back in ECBs. Making your final total 98¢ for each product. :-)

    • faithweaver

I went to CVS this afternoon and came home with $106.00 worth of products. I spent out of pocket $9.00 for a savings of $97.00!!!!!!!!   I love CVS aka “Land of the Free”      : )

      Got back – $4.00 ECB

*Side note – I was going to put the ALways Inifinity pads with this transaction but it wouldn't take my coupon. -cashier/mangaer said it was probably because I had already used 4 P&G coupons – I don't think that's right but I didn't argue because it worked out better for me anyway with the way I did it!!!!!

      Transaction 2:
      (3) Smucker's Presevres – this is all they had
      (1) Always Infinity Pads
      (2) Pantene

      Got back-$1.00 ECB

Transaction 4: (Another CVS to get Smucker's deal)
      (3) Smucker's Preserves
      Used: (3) -$0.55/Smucker's
      -6.00ECB – Transaction 2

OOP: 0.00 – I lost 15 cents of ECB but couldn't find a quick filler at the register that wasn't less than $1.00 so I just went without it
      Got back: $5.00 ECB

SO…GRAND TOTAL OPP:$5.03, GOT BACK – $6ECB for next week!!!!

So, everything was free with a 97 cents profit!!!!!!!

      Thank you Jenny and CVS!!!!!!

      • On ur 1st Trans. Here is what I did :
        Transaction 1:
        (2) Oral B Advantage
        (2) Oral B Pulsar
        (1) 2 Liter Sprite

You should have got back $8 in ECBs, $2 for the Adv. TB and $6 for the pulsar ones

    • Surfergirl8989

When I was checking out at CVS this morning the lady at the register told me I should always give them the man. coupons first and then my ECBs…I'm confused I thought it was the other way around. Could someone help me with this please?

      • kpswagger

Give the manufacturer coupons first then the ECBs. Because you want to use the manufacturer coupons on the items they are intended for and then you can always use the ECBs on other items. Basically if you use your ECBs first your total might get so low that you are not able to use your manufacturer coupons at all. Rmember CVS no longer does overage.

        • Surfergirl8989

Thanks so much that makes sense!

    • Lstewart005

The red box printed $5 off Clairol Perfect 10 which made the Clairol free plus profit after ECB and $3 P&G coupon!

    • Marilyn Wilson

My local CVS had the lipton tea 12 packs with a $1 manufacturer's coupon on it!!!!  So I got and extra $1 off!!!!!!!!    Was SO excited….

    • Guest

The coupons in the P&G ad from 06/05/11 are still good until 07/31/11, so use those coupons first if you have any left.

    • Akanemb

      Excited about my trip today to CVS!!!!Here is what I did :Transaction 1:(4) Oral B Advantage(2) Oral B Pulsar(1) Always PadsUsed: (2) -$3.00/Oral B Battery Toothbrush(2) -$2.00/Oral B Advantage
      (2) – BOGO free Oral B Advantage(1) – $1 off AlwaysTotal w/ tax = $14.37Got back – $11.00 ECB

      Transaction 2:

      (8) Gillette Body Wash

      (4) $2.00 off Gillette Body Wash
      (4) BOGO Body Wash
       – $11.00 EBC
      Total w/ Tax $1.20

      • I'm confused about your second transaction. 8 bodywashes would have been $24 The (4) BOGO coupons would have taken off $12 and the (4) $2-off coupons should have taken off another $8… Right? So that would have left your total at $4. Why did you need $11 in ECB? I'm just trying to figure this deal out. I really want to find a way to use the Gillette coupons. :-D

        • Couponeagle11

i agree that second trans shouldnt need that many ecb i think the cashier made a mistake with the coupons

    • DorkandShorty04

Ok so I already see people posting about the gillette body wash but I would like to make sure before I go on my shopping trip I have the B1G1 from p&g (6/05) and the 1$ off 2 from the p&g from today will it work or am I bound to be bummed lol??

      • DorkandShorty04

Ha! never mind I rechecked the Q from todays paper and its off 1 body was not 2…Sorry!

      • Donna

The B1G1 coupon is expired.  But normally if a coupon is $/1 item then you could use that with a B1G1 coupon opposed to a $/2 item coupon.

    • Tammyy Miller

Okay, I had a quick trip to CVS before I got my Sunday paper, but I found a good deal. I bought 4 bags of Beggin Strips.  They were $4.29 each. I used (2) B1G1-Up to $3.99 & (1) $4 off 4.  Final Cost: $5.18 & I had $5 EBC.  Final Cost $.18

      • jls

will you share what papers the coupons for this are from

      • Sillysnicks

Where did the $4 off 4 come from?  Great Deal!

      • Love2Q

Super!!! I just got 10 bags free with the Kmart BOGO sale that ended yesterday.

      • Megortiz63

Tammy, you needed to buy more bags to do that deal- the $4/4 covered all 4 of your items, so you should have had to buy 6 to use all the coupons in your scenario.

    • Tennille

      2-Oral B Pulsar tootbrushes
      2-Oral B battery operated tootbrushes
      2-Head & shoulders Dandruff shampoo
      1-Olay face lotion
      2- Gillette body washes
2-Huggies pure and natural diapers (were clearanced for 6 bucks) :)))
2-Gillette profusion mens skin care items (clearanced for 1.99)
      2-Always infinity pads
      5- 2 Liters of Coke
      1-J&J Baby shampoo
      Total OOP $31.00  :)))))

I felt like I could do better, but I am new at this whole couponing thing. I was pretty pleased with the total though. Did 3 separate transactions. Still have $2 in ECB.

    • Andersoncouponmommy

Does anyone know why my cvs in dickson tn could not let me use a $2off and a b1g1 on 2 gillette bodywashes? Also when I used b1g1 she only credited me the sale price instead of full price. Any ideas, explainations, or advice?

      • Wablove

I have shoped that store and they get a bit lost. Was the $2.00 off two or one? As for them crediting you the sales price that is up to the store that is all they have to credit you they do not have to do normal price.

        • Andersoncouponmommy

Thanks for the info. It was $2 off any 1 gillette Bw and a b1g1 coupon and the cashier kept telling me that it exceeded the limit. I asked very nicely what limit? Because I was using 2 man q,s for 2 products. But she never did answer so I.m still clueless about using my other b1g1 coupons there.

          • Some BOGO coupons are coded so that you are not supposed to use another coupon. Although cashiers do usually have the ability to “push it through”.

    • Vmstephens

With the 2L Coke being limited to 5, does that mean per day or per card?
I called my store and they just kept transferring me back and forth from the pharmacy to the front desk : /

      • Guest

usually limits are per card per sales week..however if you have a store that matches prices, like walmart, close by you can always price match there and get as many as you want. I went today to cvs and all the drinks were already cleared out so it might save you the hassle…

        • Lesb

mine let my husband and I each buy 5 in line with eachother and we both used my card.  The clerk suggested we do this.  I hope this helps.

      • ireneY

It used to be per transaction, but it could be different now. Try buying two sets of five the same day and see what happens!

    • Shenna

I had an issue at a CVS today, computer beeped and said something about not being able to use a coupon, can anyone help? I bought 2 Always pads and made sure the coupon was valid for them and when I went to the register I gave 2 of the same coupons for 2 different items and the man told me i couldn't use the second coupon because I already used it once?? Also happened when I tried to buy the Aussie & Herbal had 2 coupons. I told him that i bought 2 items though and just said some random things that made no sense to me like “It's the manufacturer and not us that won't allow you to use that coupon”… anyone have an idea of what went wrong?

      • Keatons44

CVS policy is that you can use one manufactuers coupon per item (you can also use a CVS coupon “stacked” with it)–so it sounds to me like there shouldn't have been a problem.  You can go back w/your recipt and the coupon and talk to the manager. (Probably not worth it if it's just a few cents off, but I'd definately do it if it saved me $1 or more.)  If you don't have a copy of their policy, you should print it out and take it, too.  Having a copy with me today saved me $5!

        • Shenna

Great idea. Thanks I think I may do that! Yeah I had everything completely organized ahead of time so there was no room for error, but it seemed I still encountered some.

      • Kelleyharold

I have noticed some manufacturer coupons are changing their terms printed on the coupon to limit how many of them you can use in one transaction.  Even though you purchased 2 items, if the coupon says limit 1 coupon per *transaction* instead of 1 coupon per *purchase* that could be the issue.  However, the coupons I have noticed have had a higher limit such as limit 3 identical coupons per transaction.  I firmly believe manufacturers are doing this to combat the shelf-clearing and other behaviors that have become prevalent after TLC started airing “Extreme Couponing.”  Just my opinion, though.

        • Andersoncouponmommy

The $2 q says limit 1 coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated. Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip. What does that mean?

          • Donna

That means, you can only buy 4 products and use 4 of the same identical coupon on those 4 products.

        • Shenna

Yeah I think they have dont dthat because of the show too! Boy those guys on the show just ruin it for all of us ;) I dont see anything positive coming from that except people who try out couponing and get very disappointed because the show is “extreme” and they are not. I haven't even noticed any wording for “per transaction” I will keep an eye out for that. Thank you!

      • Mea

I've noticed that too. Some times  it won't allow you o use 2 coupons on two product, Specially the BOGO coupons. If you don't have to buy both for the deal just do separate transactions.

        • Shenna

Good to know that someone else had this problem! I may start the separate transactions after all! It really doesn't any difference that way, except for frustrating the cashier (hehe), and if it gives me less room fro errors I am game! Thanks!

    • Brooke

i have a question about CVS-

Can I use a b1g1 coupon and a $ off coupon. Example.. I have a b1g1 head and shoulders shampoo coupon from todays p&g insert, but I also have a 1/2 coupon from June's p&g. Also have gillette bodywash b1g1 and 2 off gillette body wash coupons. Same thing for Oral B advantage toothbrushes. What can I use to make this the best transaction. I just started shopping at CVS and dont know there policy on coupons.

      • Isu2014

You can use a B1G1 coupon and a $ off, but it can't be $/2 because that will apply to both products. It must be $ off of 1 product that you are purchasing with the B1G1 coupon. I believe the gillette and Oral B coupons will work, but not the head and shoulders since it is off both products. Hope that Helps!

        • Brooke

          Thank you for your help!!

        • tcmomof4

It depends on the store. Mine will not let you use B1G1 and a $ off manf. coupon.

    • Keatons44

Took Hubby with me today and he is now a convert!  We got $80 worth of stuff for $25 and came home with $16 ECB!  (Yes, I know that I could have separated my purchases and used the ECB right away to lower my OOP, but I'd rather save them for next week.  I also don't count they ECB I receive off my savings that day–I just count them in my savings when I use them.)

I did have to educate the cashier that I could use my $2 off Pantene CVS coupon along with a man. coupon (same w/Skittles and Coppertone).  She said that her manager had said that they couldn't be used together.  I pulled out my CVS policy email I had in my handy-dandy notebook and politely explained that her manager was mistaken.  She said they wouldn't scan, but I asked her to try anyway.  Low and behold, they did!

      • Amy

Handy dandy notebook…. LOL Love it! Thanks for the laugh. Good job! I do the same with my ecb.

      • Shenna

I like saving my ECB's too! It gives me room to use them when I need something asap and don't want to spend cash for it ;) Good looking out with the notebook!

    • Twowithmommy

does anyone know if the gas card purchase requirement is $30 before coupons or if you have to spend the 30?

      • Guest

        before coupons

      • Shenna

yes before coupons and not all in one transaction! I haven't seen the dates for this gas promo.. so Idk how long it will run, or if it will be start over.

    • Melissa

      I have a $7 off the Crest White Strips in the P & G from 7/3

    • Brooke

Total before Coupons: $61.21, Total after coupons $19.44. I then used 15.79 in extra care bucks from last week paying only 3.65 (the tax) out of pocket!!. I also now have 15 dollars in extra care bucks for next week!!

      • Punchbuggy1983

I don't understand how you were able to buy 4 toothbrushes when the limit is 2? Did the ECB's still print for the 3rd and 4th ones?

        • She used 2 cards

          • Victoria

Ruin it for the rest of us

            • Harlie_girl2u

We should always be sure to read and understand deal before we type comments that are incorrect.

          • Harlie_girl2u

no she did not. the limit was 2 but she used b1g1 cpn made 2 free and 2 with ecb

          • Harlie_girl2u

Each member of household can get a card in there name example you can get card in your name and hubby can get card in his name.

        • Sheila

No ECBs on the 3rd and 4th toothbrushes.  She used b1g1 coupons to get them for free.

      • Aimee

My store wouldn't let me use a B1G1 and a $ off coupon for the toothbrushes.  They said I could use one or the other.  The clerk had already scanned the B1G1 Qs first.  Should I have given the $ off first?

        • Couponeagle11

thats what i had to start doing i put the money off first and then the cvs coupons and then the bogo and the ecbs but i dont try anything funny meaning only one $ off and one bogo

      • Foxymom37174

        This is fab.

    • Amanda

At my CVS, there is an extra care bucks deal on Lumene products ($5 ECB WYB $20) Most of the products are pretty expensive, but they have small things of face cream for $4.19, and eye make-up remover that is marked $6.79 but rang up $5.98. There are coupons for $4 off any Lumene product. I got two of the face creams and two eye make up removers, used 4 of the $4 off coupons, spent $4.36 and got $5 back in extra care bucks.

If they had more of the face creams, I could have bought 5, used 5 of the $4 off coupons, spent $0.95 and got $5 in ECB. Great money maker if they have enough product.

      • Lisamarieonssi

It's at my CVS also – I wondered why it wasn't listed – they also have the packs of make-up wipes that are 3.19 but rang up for 2.73 !!! It was a great money maker for me as well!

    • IsandGirl

      Question>>>>can a B1G1 Free Q be used with a store ad of B1G1 50% off?

      • Donna

Yes, you can.  they will only take the lesser amount of the 2 products for the “free” one.

    • Stbailey

Can you use the smuckers coupons on Jiff peanut butter since they are made by the same company?

      • Isu2104

No, coupons must be used on the products that they are intended for!

      • Sillysnicks

no…you need to use the coupon on the correct item not on an item made by the same company

    • Livserge331

The coupon printer in store gave me a coupon for $2 off any 2 Aussie/Herbal Essence/Pantene items.  This makes the Aussie/HE deal a freebie!  worth a check when you go in the store.  I would not have done this otherwise (98 cents is too much to pay for shampoo, lol, since I have two dozen bottles stockpiled already from years of couponing!)

      • Livserge331

Woohoo, just checked the coupons they gave me again and there was also one for $1.50 off Gillette bodywash.  I had bought Bounty 8packs a while back and got a bunch of those P&G coupon packets, so I have the $2 coupon that makes this deal a money maker!

      • Mama23babygirls

        ME TOO!! Yippee!!!

    • mamabelbel

Stopped by CVS today and grabbed 2 crossaction toothbrushes, 2 boxes of Pampers Cruisers and 1 Hersheys Air Delight.  Paid $23 and got the $10 gas card!  So basically like I paid $13.  I was thrilled since just 1 box of the pampers alone was on sale for $18.99!  Very good day for me.

    • Dallis

Can't find the $1 axe coupon. Anyone know of a different link or zip?

    • Steph

Im confused…..I was told by a cvs person that when you use your ecb on an item you don't get one printed out. For example the getting started scenario once I use the$ 1 ecb it won't print another one so how would I still get$ 1 ecb?

      • Mandyward67

that is completley untrue. They must have been new or not sure what you were asking. You can pay for your whole order with ecb and then have more print out. the only time you won't get ecb to print out is if you try to buy more than the limit in the ad.

      • Coupongal18

They were probably thinking WAGS – for example, at WAGS, if you buy Pampers and there is a RR attached, you can't go get another pack of diapers and use the RR that printed from previous transaction and get another RR ……

      • Burroughs85

If I understand the scenario correctly it should print as long as you haven't met your weekly limit for that item. For example, the toothbrushes are each a limit of 2, so if you are purchasing the 3rd, the no ECB will print.  However, if they have told you that any time you use ECB to pay then no ECB will print that is incorrect.  I always do several transactions to “roll” my ECB, its really the way to keep from spending so much out of pocket.  Hang in there, its confusing at first but it really pays off!

      • SchoonCR

That sounds like someone confusing CVS for Walgreen's.  At Walgreen, you cannot use RR to buy the same item and get more RR.  At CVS, the ecb can be used to buy anything, no strings.

      • katie

maybe only if there is a limit of one.  If thats the case, then you will not get any more ECBs, however for a limit of 2, etc, you will

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Watch for $5 Off  Clairol Perfect 10 printing at red machine. Use it with $3 Off Q from PG and get $7.99 sale this week for free with $1 ecb overage

    • Battychic77

theres a $1 off Coppertone coupon in 6/26 RP and $1 off M&M pretzel candies (9.9oz) in 6/19 RP

    • Burroughs85

I have been couponing since approx. January, but there are a few things I forget…:(  I was wondering, with the Oral-B cross action toothbrushes, could I go to the register with 4 toothbrushes, use (2)  $2 off from July's P&G and (2) b1g1 coupons from P&G 6/05, and get $2 ECB ($1 for each of the two purchased)?

      • mamabelbel

Yes.  I used 1 b1g1 coupon and 1 $2 off coupon.  Got 2 toothbrushes and got $2 ECBs.  Was an extra awesome deal because they deducted the full non-sale price of the toothbrush for the b1g1 coupon although I wasn't expecting that.  So it was quite a money maker in the end.

        • Did it automatically take it off, or did they have to type the amount in?

          • mamabelbel

I think she typed it in.  I knew my total seemed lower than I had calculated, but of course I happily paid it.  When I checked the receipt out later I saw it had the higher amount which was 5 something.  Not sure if she messed up or what.

        • Gatorginger

They did that on mine too and I was like what is that lol

    • Love2Q

      Great trip to CVS!
I've been looking for a way to get something to go with all that peanut butter I got free in the Publix sale, and my, thankfully brief, patience paid off.

      6 Smuckers Preserves
      2 Oral-B Cross Action Toothbrushes
      1 Oral-B Pulsar Toothbrush
      1 Always Infinity Pads
      1 Dove Candy Bar

$0.55 Smucker’s jam, jelly, preserves or fruit spread (6)
      $2.00 Oral-B Cross Action Toothbrush
      BOGO Oral-B Cross Action
      $3.00 Oral-B Battery Toothbrush
      $2.00 any Always Pads
      $0.35 Dove Candy Bar
      $13.79 in EBs
      $0.29 OOP

      ECBs Received:
      5, 2, 3, 2, 1
      $13.00 TOTAL

That means everything, but the Smuckers was free, and they were a mere $0.18 a jar. Whoo Hoo PB&J time! *does happy dance

      • Judy

Was the $4/$20 a Kiosk thing of for signing up w/ CVS?

        • Love2Q

signing up for the emails, not a general account

    • Mama23babygirls

I received a $2/2 Aussie, Pantene or Herbal Essences coupon at the register today!!!

    • Surfergirl8989

I dont understand the gas deal could someone please help me? I have a coupon for $4 off a $20 or more purchase, if the register rings up to $30 can I use that coupon plus all my other normal coupons and still get the gas card? This deal has really stumped me so could someone please explain in detail?

Last week when they were running the deal on ” if you buy $20 worth of Lysol products you get $10 in ECBS i tried to do it. I bought $21 worth of prodcuts used a $3 off coupon and ECBS from last week and it wouldnt give me my ECBS. The manager said on the reciet it said I still had to buy over $7 more in lysol products to hit $20… what did i do wrong?

      • mamabelbel

Not sure about what happened with the Lysol products, but this week I only spent $23 out of pocket including tax and a few items that were not included in the gas card deal and still earned a gas card.  My total in gas card qualifying purchases before coupons was about $38 or so.  I used coupons on every item I purchased, used my quarterly ECBs, and used a $4 off $20 purchase coupon on one transaction and $3 off $15 on the 2nd transaction.  None of these things prevented ECB or the gas card voucher from printing.

        • Surfergirl8989

oh ok well i dunno what happened either..ill just try again and see what happens…if it doesnt work out ill just ask for my money back…thanks!

          • FreedomSpradley1

You have to be very careful in selecting items and make sure you are picking from the products included in the deal.  Although it's a lysol deal not all lysol products are included (just the ones listed in the ad).

          • Reneerobbinsdeals

We had the worst time ever last week trying to get the gas card!! Ended up having to call the 800 CVS number for help.
Apparently, our store did not have shelf tags identifying the SPECIFIC products that were included. And when I say specific, I mean specific, like the specific FLAVOR of SOBE Lifewater, etc. Our circular had a picture of Milk Duds and Good N Plenty's and said Theatre Box Candy, Assorted, 3/$4 AND it was in the section for the gas card. We got 2 boxes of Mike N Ikes and another box of Sour Patch Kids – they were NOT qualified purchases!! Even though, they are all Theatre Box Candy!  There are specific SKU's that qualify but you can't go by the ad. It must be marked on the shelf tag with the little gas card symbol. (this is very difficult for us, since our store isn't marking them. Yes, we did complain to the 800 number and hopefully they will fix this.)
But just beware of that when you shop. Also, the Lysol deal was for the “whole system”, not refills. Found that out the hard way as well! Good luck! It can be done!

          • Julie Avant

I've had this happen before on a couple of different deals, even though I clearly purchased the correct dollar amount. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and we go over the ad and do the math and if I'm correct then they manually print my ECBs for me. One time they pointed to the bottom of the receipt and told me I didn't spend enough, I pointed right back to her that I did and added it all up right in front of her. If they insist then make them point out the difference. My CVS is really good about honoring the ECBs so I usually don't have trouble, but I do have to bring it to their attention. Also, keep an eye out on what the item is ringing up at. I did all of the math on a deal once to find out that some of the items were mismarked on the shelf and rang up for less than what the tag said. Which is great, they're even cheaper! But, I needed that dollar amount for my ECBs so I had to purchase more to get them.

    • Kim_200414

Did anyone else randomly get $3.50 ECB over the weekend? It printed on a receipt, then I checked my email and it said “look what you earned” (along with $5 off $25 printable coupon) but it doesn't say what it was for! I'm not complaining=) Just curious if anyone knows.

      • That is a 2% rebate on your quarterly spending, fun, huh!

        • Surfergirl8989

Ive been couponing at cvs for about a month now…does that mean I wont get a rebate?

          • Donna

CVS doesn't give out rebates.  Usually every quarter (3 months), they'll give you 2% of what you've spent in that period and print you out “FREE” money!!  Whether if it's through the kiosk or at the bottom of your receipt!

            • guest

however if does not add to your quarterly extra bucks when u buy stuff that gives u extra bucks back…i work there

            • Surfergirl8989

              oh ok thanks guys!

          • Gingiraffe

You probably won't because they print several weeks after the quarter ends.  But watch in the fall when the Fall Spending prints.

        • Kim_200414

Oh you're right! I guess I thought that'd be more of an odd number…like $2.67 or something!.

          • I'm sure the actual amount would have been an odd number, but they round to the nearest “.50” in cases like this.

      • Shannontingle

        i got a 5.50 one.

      • Gatorginger

It was probably your 2% that you get back every quarter

    • Jbush27

I was disappointed that the Coppertone at my store was 9.99.  It was still a great deal, I bought 2 water babies=20.00- 3.00 cvs coupon from machine- (2) 1.00 off man. coupons- 8 ecbs= 8.00 for 2 or $4 a piece.  I looked to see if there was something smaller that the price was $7.87, but there was nothing.

    • elizabeth

When is the best time to visit CVS to get the good deals? My CVS is always out of everything! This week I tried going at 9:00 on Sunday morning and they were out of things. So I went back on Monday morning at 9:00 (because a cashier once told me they get their shipments on Sunday nights) and they still didn't have a lot of the deals! I'm getting very close to switching to Walgreens or Rite Aid.

      • Herringhill66

I go on Wednesdays or Fridays. they usually have restocked. I am in Prattville AL

      • guest

get rainchecks they are good forever

      • Gatorginger

If they are out ask for a raincheck as they will honor the ECB rewards after the sale is over when the products come in, this is what makes CVS awesome because you can still get your ECBs after the sale where as you can't at Walgreens.  You might check with your cvs some start ringing up their new sales prices on Saturday

        • elizabeth

Thanks, that's good to know. I thought with a raincheck they would honor the price but not the ECBs. Mine is a 24 hour store, so they don't do the new sales until midnight.

    • Herringhill66

where do I find the “get more from your pharmacy” booklet?

      • bingmom

It is a coupon booklet from Kroger with mfr and store coupons.  I had to ask for it at the Kroger pharmacy — they had them behind the counter.

    • Swmntchr

Okay, I get that when it says Limit 1 that you won't get the extra care bucks, but can you still get the sale price if you buy more than 1?

      • Donna

Yes, correct.  Limits are only for how much ECBs you'll get in return but you can still buy at that sale price!

    • Judy

Ok. So for the Free Schick Quattro WYB $15 of certain items: Can I get (2) Dove body wash & (2) Dove deodorant and use (1) B1G1 Dove body wash, (2) $1.50/1 Dove Body wash, & (2) $2/1 Dove deodorant? Or can I only use (2) $1.50/1 Dove body wash on each if the store runs a B1G1?

    • Couponmomjenn

ok, so for the oral b toothbrush  deals, there is a limit of 2—i am wondering, do these have to be seperate transactions or will i get both ECB offers if i pay for it all in one transaction?

      • Sarah

can be separate or together doesnt matter

    • Stormwatcher78

How can the Oral-B Advantage or Cross Action toothbrush ECB deal at CVS have a coupon for PG 7/03 when the schedule said there were NO inserts?????

      July3 — No Inserts (Independence Day)10 — Smart Source & Red Plum & Procter and Gamble17 — Smart Source24 — Smart Source & Red Plum31 — Smart Source & Red Plum & Procter and Gamble

      • Gatorginger

There was one PG insert in 7/3 paper

      • FreedomSpradley1

Jenny posted last week that a P&G was going to be in the 7/03 paper.  Sometimes the schedule gets a little off on holiday weekends.

    • Gatorginger

In case any of you aren't aware of this if the free hershey's air candy coupon prints at the machine and the store is out of the candy bar ask them if they will honor it when there is more.  My cvs wrote they would honor it when they came in and I didn't even have to ask, I only wanted to know where they were and they were out lol

      • Traci0322

My CVS in GA substituted for any Hershey bar we wanted that was the same price.  :)

      • tori729

My store substituted for any other Hershey bar of the same price so I got a 3pk of Reeces – much better to me!

        • I got me and my daughter a cookies & cream bar to share. It was a *little* less messy in the car. LOL

    • Sharris1659

Is the coupon for $4 off any Lumene product in the store?  I don't have one in my cache of coupons!  If anyone knows, please post right away as I'm planning a trip today.

      • Lucinda08

There is one in the “Save all summer”booklet that you get from Walgreens for $4.00…

    • Bamagirl43

With the buy $15 of Dove and get a free Schick deal, could you use the $4 off Schick razor even though it is free?

      • Jule

The razor is already free, why use it? Why not save it for a better sale?

      • FreedomSpradley1

I'm pretty sure you can use the razor coupon even though it's free.  The $4 would give you credit toward the items you purchase to get the razor free.

    • If you haven't used your $3.00 Aussie coupon yet, it is cheaper at Walmart.  Thought I would check at Walmart since I was there and the everyday price is $2.84 per product instead of almost $3.50 at CVS.  So I got 2 /$2.68.  At CVS, even with the $1 EBC, it would be $2/$2.97.  It isn't much but since I was there anyway, what the heck.

      • Sarah

and cant you use competitor coupons at walmart

    • Kristen

Can someone proof this for me… I think it's ok.
      If I get  4  Oral-B Cross Action toothbrushes…
      I can use  2  B1G1 coupons and  2  $2 off 1 coupons… Right?
I haven't tried this before.. I just wanted to double check :) so I don't have any problems.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Give them the $2 off coupons first.  For some reason the register beeped when they rang the B1G1 coupon first for me.  Four free toothbrushes!  Woohoo!

        • Kristen

          Ok.. Thanks a bunch!! :)

      • Jessmender

That should work, but you will only get the ECB's for the first 2.

    • Sprtgirl32

Did anyone find any Coppertone for only $7.87?? The cheapest my store had was $10.50. I was bummed :(

    • Ars37217

This is my first haul into CVS… I am kinda nervous… Going for the free toothbrushes and gas card!

      • Sheila

Good luck!  I like the gas card deal this week too.  For me, it's Pampers, Kashi , Starburst and Cheez-its to get the card.

        • Oooh, still deciding here about the gas card, I would have to spend more OOP this week to get.  I have 14 in ecb but part of me wants to save them for next week for some actual food items.  Silly rationale I know, I don't really NEED the gas card items rignt now, but to get some tp and tide and DH says we could use the facial tissue…big decisions, LOL.

    • Josh Haymore

If I use a B1G1 coupon on Head and Shoulders Shampoo will I get $4 EB back as opposed to just $2?  I know I did this once with Old Spice Body Wash when I first started couponing. I bought 2 BWs and got $8 back when the add said $4 for 1.

      • jlw

the limit is one so you get back $2………I did this deal a couple of days ago…….good price for Head and Shoulders

        • Mbrucke

I bought two with the B1G1 and got $4 in ECB back today.

          • Does your local add say limit one or limit two???

    • Cocoandpup

i went to cvs and try to get toothbrush and other thing off your list like the pads and it didn t come up your prices .they did have a sign up but they told me it was 399 and they couldn t tell me how to get them at 199,

      • FreedomSpradley1

I'm not sure which items you are referring to but Jenny's cost usually includes the deduction for the coupon and ECB earned.  For instance something cost $3.99 and you have a $1 off coupon and earn $1 ECB for purchasing the item.  You will actually pay $2.99+tax and get $1 ECB on your receipt to use toward your next transaction.

    • Jnelson280

If you have a store that isn't 24 hour and you can shop both deals on Saturday night… then could you potentially get a box of Pampers at 18.99 on Saturday night and also get the $5 ECB that is on next week's ad?  Just wondering…

      • ireneY

You'll get one or the other. If there's two different sales, the system picks.

    • gmramom

can someone tell me, all I see in my cvs add is oral B pulsar for $5.99 with $3 ECB back.  not the $1 that listed in the above

      • FreedomSpradley1

The cross action gives $1 ECB.

    • Melanie

Does anyone know if you can buy 2 Herbal Essence or Aussie Stylers and use 2 of the $3 off styler wyb another Herbal Essence or Aussie product?  I was hoping to let the styler be the “other” product for each one.

      • Melanie

I did this scenario yesterday and it worked, with no beeping or having to be pushed thru.  I also had a $2 off 2 coupon from the red machine, so this was a money maker!

    • Mdlaubac

Can I use a BOGO manufacturer coupon along with a $1 off manufacturer coupon?  Like I have a BOGO gillette body wash and a $1 off gillette body wash.

    • Mdlaubac

$10 off $50 Coupon from the Magic Machine today…….Make sure you scan your card until the machine tells you no more coupons today…I got alot of good ones today….$2.00 of skittles…..made them .50 a bag. $2.00 of Tylenol Precise….Before cpsn $57 oop $17.00…….a few BOGO which helped building up to $50 Those with diapers would do great with this extra $10.

    • Jen

Are you supposed to get an EB on each item? I bought 2 of the tampax and 1 mach 3 that were listed for $2 EB and only received two of the EB.

      • There is a limit of one one the tampax

      • Stacyannw

i know that the tampax was a limit of one, so that means that you would only get ECB for 1 of those.

    • Getfit2526

Yeah got my first gas deal, thanks mostly to the starburst coupons  from the magic machine.

    • Rtaking

If I wanted to go back for more toothbrushes and not get the ECB, can I use the B1G1 Free crossaction and the 1.00 cross action or is it only for the “For Me”, kids line??? Going first thing in the am any help is greatly appreciated.

    • Hcgirl88

Can someone please explain the ECB's to me ? Ive had a CVS card for a while, but have no clue what these are and how to use them.

      • Bakerbunchsc

ECB is a coupon for a future purchase it has a expiration date on it as well.

Good only at CVS with the same CVS card.

Using that and coupons saves alot of $$$$$.

      • SarahR

Check out Jenny's “Getting Started Guide” up at the top.  Jenny is great at explaining the CVS system.  It can be confusing when you first begin.

        • Hcgirl88

So when you get an ECB on an item and it gets put on your card does that money apply towards that same or similar item on a future transaction or does it go towards any item ?

          • FreedomSpradley1

It doesn't go “on your card”.  The register prints a coupon on the end of your receipt (ECB) and you can use it on your next purchase of anything in the store (excl alcohol, cigarettes, and Rx).

    • Spanish Chick

My CVS would not allow me to use the B1G1 and the $$ off manufacturer's coupons.  The register would beep each time, and the manager told me that I was only allowed to use one coupon.  I cancelled my transaction, and will visit another CVS to see if I can get it work.

      • ireneY

Mine worked. Handed over the $ first, then the BOGO.

Another question : in order to get the toothbushes free on the spot do I have to buy 2 in one transaction and then the other two in a second transaction ?

    • Deecheers4rv

I had a great trip today! CVS is right by my work so earlier in the week I swung by and got 4 bags of skittles and used by green bag tag and the 2 dollar off coupons and paid 1 dollar for all of them. So I had 10 dollars towards the gas deal. Today I went in and got a 3 off 15 baby coupon so I grabbed a box of swaddlers(free wipes inside!) and another bag of skittles, and one more pulsar toothbrush. I used the 3/15,1.50 off the  diapers,2 off skittles, 3 off the pulsar and 7 EBC'S  my total was 11.57 and I got 3 EBC'S back and the gas card! Pretty sweet deal :)

    • FreedomSpradley1

Another stellar CVS shopping trip.  I used my Dove raincheck from last week in conjunction with the free Schick Razor deal this week.  Ended up with 2 Skittles large bags, 2 Gillette B/W, 2 Dove Men B/W, 2 Dove Men deodorant, 1 Schick Quatro razor, and 1 Dove Visible Care B/W.  After coupons (including -$5/$30 CVS q) I paid a whooping $0.08.

    • Jfcolt

Can someone remind me the proper order for giving over coupons at CVS?  I think I'm going to need to make sure I follow it this week.  Thanks!

      • FreedomSpradley1

Give money off coupons before B1G1.  Otherwise I don't think it matters.

    • Jfcoupon

I'm a little late on posting this but anyone who hasn't done the cross action deal…there is a B1G1 Cross action coupon in the PG 6/5 instert. So I did 2 Oral-b cross action tooth brushes $3ea, B1G1 q, $2 q paid $1 got back $2ECB. :)

    • Stacy

Went to the CVS by Richland hospital in Columbia today and found Huggies pure and natural diapers for 50% off and Desitin for 75% off!

    • Tonja

I got my free Hershey bar the other day…. today I went back all geared up with my coupons, and had a great shop, but was bummed  that the Coppertone deal was not available at my CVS.(NC). I did however get 3 bottles of Tide, two Pantene shampoos, and 3 packages of Always pads for $17.83  I got a EC buck back and a $10 gas card  made it 2.22 each not bad for a novice.($.97 if you count the $10 gas card
I got a CVS coupon    kiosk $5 off purchase of  $30
      I used (2 ) 3.00 off Tide
      1 $1.50 off Tide
1$2 off 2 Pantene from kiosk
      3 $1.00 off Always
      $.50 EC

    • Kristen

I love CVS! This was a great week :)
