    • Frances

My Thursday was not complete because the CVS ad was not listed.  Can you tell I am a coupon-a-holic (is there such a word)?  Thank you Jenny for all you do!

      • Guest

I know.  I have been checking the site since 3:00 waiting for it to be posted.  Does that make me a savings addict?

        • Ashley

Been doing the same all day lol..

      • Zee

If u sign up to CVS website they show next weeks ad on Thurs. But nothing beats these checkboxes and coupon matchups!!!!!!!

      • Robin

You are not the only one. I look forward to seeing that CVS ad every week.

    • Slow week for me. However, I fared pretty well in the current cycle.

    • Meh.  Not a great week but will probably go pick up a couple things as i have ECB that are expiring soon.

    • Dtcox

thank you jenny i will go and get a few things not much of a  add for me yet thanks

    • Katkoupon

My ad states there will be a $3/$10 Cosmetic from the coupon center, will make cheap Revlon.

    • Mommysauls

I have a ? :: I live in Greenville NC (tax purpose) I plan on going sunday and using a 5 off 25 coupon via email. With what I want to get my total comes up to be 24.93 (7 cents away from 25.00) Will my coupon still go through because with tax it will be well over.. ?? If not no biggie I will just grab something else, but just was wondering! Thanks!! :)

      • Mrs Lburns

don't think so…usually have to have 25 before tax

        • Mommysauls

          Thanks! :)

      • Jesse

It has to be $25 before taxes.

        • Mommysauls

          Thanks! :)

      • susansaver

They might honor it.  I know I've purchased items to get EB on a buy $XX amount get $XX back deal and have been a few cents shy and my EB still printed.  So maybe it's the same for the $5 off $25 coupon.

      • Micki

Just throw a .25 piece of candy or gum in for safe measure. That total needs to be AFTER coupons too. If that is your subtotal before using coupons, it won't work either.

        • I have used this coupon with the total before coupons plenty of times but I will throw something cheap up there with it..

        • Catherine Taylor

I think you're mistaken.  The total needs to be $25 BEFORE coupons.  Makes for better deals than you thought!  Woohoo!

          • Yea, I have used them before like that.. Just don't forget to hand it to them first! lol

        • Zee

That's not true, use the 5/25 first (25 total before tax) and the use the rest of your coupons.  Also, I have never actually spend 30 for the gas deal, always 29.xxs so it might work but it might not since its a different thing

        • ktavolley03

this is not true.  you use your $5 off of 25 or $10 off of 50, or whatever CVS coupon FIRST, then all manufacturer coupons.  It definitely is your total before any coupons are used.

      • coupon lover

If you scan the first item before scanning your card then it uses the “real” price and not the sale price of the items and it should give you the wiggle room in case there are any pricing issues.  The coupon will go through fine!  I keep getting the $10 off $50 which I see as a challenge every week to spend.

      • Gatorginger

I just had that experieince last night it has to be $25.00 before taxes so make sure you grabe  a carmel candy or something

    • Donna091960

I found $1/2 coupons on the skinny cow at my local KY Super Quiks, with the b1g1 free, that would mean 2 free, right?

      • Kristan

No…sorry :(  Because the BIGI already attaches to one of the items, so the $1/2 could only attach to one, not both.  If you had a coupon for 1, it would work.  But you could get 3 and use your BIGI and $1/2  hope this helps :)

        • Zee

whaaaaaat! lol. I thought I had a great deal on Sundown, :(. Well it still is a great deal 4.50 for  bottles of vitamins

    • Micki

I'm excited about the axe deal. After coupons and working my ECB just right, I can get 4 bottles of axe body wash for 4$ OOP, and still get my 3 ECb back from them. So I am paying like 1$ for all of it. That is the only body wash my 17 year old will use. Thinks he too good for for my free Ivory and nivea LOL

      • mommyof1

my 31 year old hubby loves axe.. alot of other brands i can get for free break him out sometimes.. plus i think axe smells great =)

      • Shelly

My 15 year old is the same way…LOVES the Axe!  My husband uses it too, but he's not picky.  He loves using it because I love the way he smells when he does.  And you know guys…they will do ANYTHING if it means getting their wives to be closer to them!  LOL!!

Where is the deal with the Softsoap coupon?

      • I might be wrong but that deal is in the current cycle..

      • Shelly

        That's in this week's ad's deals…

    • Catherine Taylor

      CVS didn't send me a coupon :(

    • A little sad. Not too much I need on this deal and I got a $5 off $25 that I'd love to use! Mainly we need paper towels, but none are on sale! Oh, well. Skip this week. Thank you Jenny!

      • sarahcas

I think paper towels are on sale this week until Saturday. I can't remember the deal, though. It doesn't seem like it was great, but if Jenny posted it it's probably not a bad deal either.

        • I'll recheck this weeks deals. Thanks for reminding me!

          • Bamasaver

The Bounty, regular, 8-pk, are on sale this week for $7.99 w/ $1 ECB back (limit of 4).  I posted earlier this week that I got packages that include $30 worth of Qs (good ones!) inside.

            • Jas

I went to look for the coupons and none of them were marked with having coupons inside :(

      • Olgav23

me too don't know what to do I'll prob not use it! slow week…could of used it this past week tho!

    • Zee

So excited about the Sundown. If they really are 5.49 that's a great deal. You can get 4 bottles for 1.5 total!!!   5.49 x 2= 10.50  – 3 store q, (2) 3/2 vitamins= 1.50 AND THESE ARE apart of the GAS DEAL!!

    • Zee

Hi guys I have a question.  In the coupon database, there ares ome coupons listed in red, does that mean it was a regional q that we prbably didnt get or does it mean expired?

      • Erin

I have this question too. I know it is not expired because I have some of the coupons that are red.

      • Katie

that means you didn't get it

    • Jtdjagos

I am writing to CVS to let them know how awesome the new manager is at our Beaufort, SC store. I wish CVS could clone Eric K. and send him to every company and every store in the US. Nothing is a problem for him. He is the MOST customer service oriented person I have ever encountered, EVER. They were out of a couple of the items I wanted to get in a series of ECB transactions. I was asking for a raincheck and told the cashier that I could not complete my series of transaction unless I did it in order and now I couldn't finish until the products were restocked. The cashier called the manager who told me no problem, he would fix it. He subbed in similar products for the sale items, let me use my coupons, and somehow was able to force the register to print the correct ECB. I was content just getting the rainchecks as that is the service I have become used to. I just wanted everyone to know because we need to give credit to those who perform in an outstanding manner.

      • Mary

That is great that he tried to be so helpful, but he also could get into trouble for doing that if you were using your coupons on items that they weren't intended for.  There are lots of rules and regulations that manufacturers have put out regarding coupon redemption.  We all need to strive to use our coupons properly and responsibly so that our great savings can continue.

        • Jtdjagos

As i said, I was happy to wait for the items to restock. He said it was fine. I hope he does not get into any trouble. I told him I was going to write to CVS. Itried to email them tonight but I got a message back saying the address is no longer monitored and to call or write.

        • Zee

I don't think he would get into trouble, CVS is onviously very service oriented. The changes he forced were on CVS policies, not manufacturer's. Giving her ECBs for an item is not cheating a company because ECBs are not manuf q's. My manager did this once, when I asked for a raincheck as well.

          • Mary

Maybe I misunderstood, but she said she used her coupons, making it sound as though he allowed the coupons for what she wanted to buy, not what he actually rang up.  That is fraud.

          • Sofia

Actually ECB's ARE manufacturer's coupons from my understanding.  And as far as the coupons she used, that's CVS's loss because they won't get reimbursed if she didn't actually buy the product.

      • Crazycatsmeow2004

My CVS also subs some of the items when corporate doesn't send them enough of an item.  There was one week when a certain hershey's candy bar was free with their coupon, but they were only sent two boxes.  So they decided to do it for any hersheys candy bar.

    • Amanda

Could someone tell me the trick to joining Upromise?  I tried over and over and over to get the “6 lower case letters in the grid” and often didn't see six or when I did, it said that what I typed in didn't match.  I got really frustrated!

    • Rudy6

Hi guys! I have a question. Can I actually use the coupon on 7/31 if it expires on the same day (7/31)? Thanks.

      • Shannon

        • Rudy6

    • Dottie

If anyone is a Weight Watcher member, there is a CVS $3 off $15 in this week's pamphlet they hand out.

    • Denise

I went online and connected my card and my email address….and I got a $4 off next $20 purchase coupon. I got the two Schick razors and two Cream Shaves on sale. with my $4 off coupon and B1G1 free and a $2 CVS coupon for the razors, and two $1 off cream shaves…OOP was $7.23 and got a $10 ECB and a $2 ECB….so I made $4.77 on that one….I was so excited…looking at this sale for some good deals but not too impressed….thanks Jenny.

    • I feel left out. I've only been getting $2 off nature made vitamins from the coupon machine…I go every day since it's on my way to work. Is that bad? Does the machine think that I am trying to take advantage of it? The clerk says it's because you have to spend more in the store and it would give better coupons. I've skipped this week and last week's deals. Haven't needed to shop and I've missed out on some of the good coupons (softsoap ran out quick and the shave gel coupon wouldn't print for me from smartsource – came out with only dollar amount listed!). So maybe that is the case.

      • Lonestar9

LOL…I got mostly those this week, one huggies coupon, and one other for something else. I haven't really skipped any week much, I just tend to get really crummy coupons from that machine from time to time.

        • Catherine Taylor

I talked to CVS on FB and now through Dec. 31st for every 6 jumbo packs of Huggies you get (not the boxes), you get a coupon (takes a few days to update) for a free pack!  I got a $4/1 Huggies from the magic coupon machine yesterday and that would make a free pack for me.  Yay!

          • Olgav23

I've bought lots of huggies there maybe it takes time! lets see!

        • Mounit98

You got a huggies coupon? What was it for?

          • Lonestar9

It was for $4 off a pack of Huggies. I did use that plust $1.50 coupon to buy the blue jean Huggies that were on sale.

      • Just4yall

Same here. Nothing but Nature Made and 1 Huggies coupon which I acctually like. Wish I had 5 huggies coupons instead of vitamins.

        • Just4yall

Oh btw I got 4 $10/$50 coupons last week and used all 4 of them. So I dont think it has to do with what you spent. Is just what is printing out this week.

      • Nikkiadams09

Thats all i have been getting to it sucks lol

      • Olgav23

NO I go every week to shop and I keep getting crappy coupons! ugghh getting upset when ppl say they get all these high end coupons. :(

        • guess

spend all your ecb and get a new card, maybe you'll have better luck. i keep getting really good q's, this week i got 2 $2 off axe,4 $10 of 50, ( i wish they were $4 of 20)lol. sometimes i take my moms card to get the q's and we both get diff q's so i dont know why! good luck

      • tina

same thing for me however I like the nature made q's because there are online printable q's and have been making a killing on assorted vitamins for my family I have gotten 10 bottles so far this week and haven't paid for any of them yet

        • I have 5 Qs now. How do you make out not paying for it? How did you do your transaction?

      • ktavolley03

thats all ive gotten this week too and i shop at cvs several times a week!

      • Avalil10

I was getting the same thing for awhile, then yesterday, I scanned my card and a $4.00 off Huggies Jeans diapers jumbo pack popped out. I was so excited! I usually don't use those, but they were on sale for $8.99 making them $4.99 with in store Q! I was there specifically for diapers too! Just keep scanning everyday I guess. Something good will eventually spit out!

      • Suzanne

CVS is right next door to my office, so I walk over on break…I've found that every day does not work…every other day gives better coupons…always try to scan twice.

    • Janet

I have a question about the AXE deal. Can I buy 4 shower gel and use (2) BOGO coupons and (1) $2.5 off 2 coupon? Thanks.

      • Shellbell5623

Coupons count after the deal, your coupons do not effect the total or quantity, I did that before when it was 5 dollars off a 15 dollar purchase. Using BOGO when coupons ended up spending 5 dollars and got 5 back!

    • Case

Went to cvs today and they had huggies up to 14 pounds (33 pack) marked down 75% …from $11.45 to $2.85!

      • Carolinepetal

Please give us the bar code no. so I can ask the manager to check which store in my area has it marked down.

        • Thesmithsofop

At my store, it was the Huggies Pure and Natural that were marked down. Hope this helps.

      • Klynn

At my store they were the pure and natural.  There was no sign but I scanned it at the red machine.  $2.87 and they let me use $1.50q. So I it for $1.37ea.  Got some oneday and went back a week later to find plenty left so I had 6 total and a few days later a q form the red machine printed saying 1 free jumbo huggies for buying 6packs.  Got the reg. huggies (11.49) for free.

    • Bebe Atlaw

Can you use two Q's on a B1G1 or just 1 Q on the actual item “purchased”?

      • On a B1G1 sale, you can use a coupon on each at CVS.

        • WendiBrooke

          The coupon policy has changed!!!!

    • tina

i went to cvs today and the cashier said that i couldnt use coupons on clearance items does anyone know if this is true?

      • Danielle

I did it earlier this week and it worked!

      • Just4yall

None of the CVS stores in my City, 10+ sotres allow me to use coupons on clearance itms.

        • Olgav23

do they actually tell u u can't!? There's nothing that says u can't, I would def call corporate!

      • Olgav23

so not true I just went today and got a ton of clearance stuff for dirt cheap! There's nothing in their policy that says u can't!

      • Nclanders

Just this week I used coupons on clearance items at one of the Huntsville AL stores…made my garnier gel .14 a tube!!

      • victoria

It depends on what type of clearance ite you are getting.  If it is a clearance item that rings up that price then you can use a coupon.  If it is a clearance item where the cashier has to manually enter it as a taxable or non-taxable item then you can't because the computer doesn't know what that item is.  Some stores do put it through, but some don't because they won't get reimbursed for it.

        • NitaRoyal

You should be able to use the coupons, regardless.  In the clearance
bins at my store, they mark through the barcode with a marker, so they
don't scan.  Therefore, a couple of cashiers have tried to refuse my
coupons.  A call to corporate confirmed that they should take the Q's,
up to the value of the item. They simply must put in the coupons manually, just like they do the sale price, and they DO get reimbursed.  My regional manager had to retrain some
folks, but now I have no problem.

      • ktavolley03

if its actually a clearance tag on the shelf, where its 50% of 75% off, then yes you can use one with no problem because the item rings up at that price.  But if its the back shelf or basket of markdowns where they have the UPC code marked out and a price hand written on it, usually not, but in some cases the manager will allow you to use one on those.

      • Chris

I had that happen at one CVS, and the cashier also said I could not use a $4off20 CVS coupon for any sale priced items!!  She said they are”cracking down” on coupon abuse, and frowned at me as if I was doing something wrong to use coupons at all : (……..  I said I didn't want the items and went to another store!!  Apparently the policies are different.

        • Anonymous

Vigilantes, that is, what I call such employees. “Cracking down” does not mean stopping legit use of Q. $4/20 can be used any purchase, as of now, unless it states not valid on sale items (like the one with % off states).

      • Jenn

I used 4 3.00/1 Tide stain release q's yesterday for the liquid that was on clearance making them .36 each!

      • Anonymous

The cashier is incorrect and misinformed. Manuf Qs do not state that the price of the item had to be at certain level before you could use that Q. You will notice in some Qs like $2 or $1 off Schick razors would state “no cash value would be given back if the price of the item is lower than Q value” that means, you can use Q for any product that it is intended to regardless of its sale/clearance status. If the price of the item is lower than Q value, then the Q value is adjusted down if it beeps. Ths is not rocket science, please educate the cashier/store and immediately report to CVs of they do not comly.

    • karen

      Thanks, awesome list

    • Gilpritchett44

Don't pay for your bandaids! Not when we've been getting them free for weeks at WM using our $1. Nexcare pdf Q's. They scan perfectly-no beeping!

      • lidia

what pdfQ's   means???? sorry for my ignorance…   thanks!!!!

        • Chris

There was a Nexcare PDF Q put out a while back that is good on any Nexcare $1/1 exp 12/31/11.  Walmart has them for $1 a box.  So the only thing you pay is tax.

        • pdf is a type of file that you can save to your computer. useful for sharing documents, images, etc without them being altered. Nexcare used this type of file to distribute a coupon that can be saved to your computer and printed as many times as you want. (pretty dumb on their part)

      • Suzy

Your right, I'm good in the bandage stock at our house.

      • Juli

I wish it were that easy…I have checked my walmart several times a week since that deal came up, but apparently people are taking advantage of the .pdf coupon and clearing the shelves as soon as they are put out.  Dang, folks, I have 4 coupons.  4 boxes is all I want!

        • Chris

If you can get someone to actually help you they can scan the shelf tag and that will tell them if they have more in the back.  If they don't it will also tell them when they are possibly expected to come in OR if another store shows stock on-hand.  I had to get mine in the middle of the night while they were restocking (when the Q first came out).  HTH

      • Mkcuz2000

Does anyone have the pdf they could email me please??  I missed out on it and we need bandaids!  mkcuz2000(at)excite(dot)com  Thank you!!

        • Zee

please share with me also. zeegirl84 at YAHOO dot com

          • Agardner

please share the pdf as well – agardner at newforum dot net

      • jthorn

I would like the PDF coupon emailed to me too, if someone has it please!cheerchic676(at)netscape(dot)net Thank you so much!!!

      • Cristi Cheney

I'm sorry for those of you take were unable to get the Nexcare pdf but I will not be emailing it to you as that was not the manufacturer's intent when the offered the coupon. PDF coupons are much like internet printables, only available on a manufacturer's web site for a period of time. If you don't get it from the manufacturer's website during that time than unfortunately you are out of luck. Check out this article for addtl info on the topic. coupon-wizards (dot) com/2011/07/27/is-it-ok-to-save-pdf-coupons-to-my-computer/

        • Anonymous

Also please make sure that you not use any other zipcode to print Q for your benefit because you dont live in that zip and manuf did not intend those Q for you. Similarly, do not use multipe computers to print Qs because manuf only intended one per household from their limited number of Qs available. Thanks

    • Jodispink

I had such a great shopping experience this week and managed to get over 30 in ECB back, however, I have some how managed to lose them, think they may have fallen out of my purse at a restaurant.   I think I already know the answer to my question, but is there any way to get them reprinted?  With our card they have to know which ones we have and if they have been used.  I'm guessing I'm just out of luck, but I was hoping someone might have a suggestion.  thanks

      • Yes, you can reprint them you will need to create an account on CVS if you have not already done so.  Even if you have not once you link or add your card to this account they will show up to be printed.  I theory you need to have the card to redeem the ECB so if they were found it is possible they are useless withouth the card.  Having said this last part it is not impossible that they could get used, either way they will show in your account as used or waiting to be used and eligible for printing.

        • Sofia

They have never shown up on my account online for me. Only ECB's earned on beauty (for spending $50), of for registering for email alerts, etc.. show up. I think your best bet is to go to a cashier and ask them if they can re-print them for you.

          • Lonestar9

Yeah, they were showing up for me all the time until this month. I even found one online I had somehow lost. Now, they seem to show for beauty items, and that's it. Kinda a bumer, I wish I knew what changed.

            • Candacerobertson03

I called CVS customer service about this the other day and the rep I spoke to told me that the Extrabucks that we get for purchases will no longer be available online. They are updating the system and the only ones that will be available will be the quarterly ones, the $5 ones for beauty club purchases and the $/$$ ones.

      • BB

You can call the customer serviced number and they will reissue the ones you lost.  I did this for some that had expired.

      • laura

You should be able to log in to your CVS account reprint them.

      • Sdavisva

I was online last week checking my quarterly statement and saw a place where I could re-print my outstanding ECB's.  I thought, 'wow, you really do want our business'.  What an excellent feature.  I lost nearly $30 in UP this spring – ugh – called the store, looked everywhere…gone forever.

As far as I can see, you could be able to print them at home! ;)  Let us know what happens!

        • Danielle

I saw the same thing when I was online for something else.

      • Jodispink

I went on line and I only found a record of my beauty club rewards not my recent ECBs, also when I called the customer service she said that there was nothing I could do that they don't show up on line because they are printed at the store, therefore she could do nothing for me.   She was very friendly but was not able to do anything to help me.   It makes no sense to me that if you cannot reprint these online, they have to know exactly what you have and what has been used because you scan your card every time you do anything at CVS.  I assume that they are happy when people lose them, that is just money in there pocket.

        • Mandyward67

it might take a day or so…but they should show up online. just keep clicking all the tabs under the extra bucks rewards until you find them!

      • Rachel

They are still “attached” to your CVS card and you should be able to print them off the CVS website.  Good luck!

    • Marisa

What do you mean when you say “In select PG products?” Thanks.

      • Katie H

sometimes when you buy a PG product they have coupons in them for other PG products.  Like if you buy a big thing of bounty paper towels they will sometimes have $30 worth of coupons in them for other PG products.

    • Rowdy117

Why isn't the Axe $.99 each?  [4.49*4 – (4.49*2) – 2 – 3 / 4]  You can use both store and manf coupon at CVS just like a grocery store right?

      • Sb

She didn't calculate the store coupon into her totals. If you use the CVS coupon they will be 99cents w/o it $1.49

    • Lmb072

      Here's my plan:
      2 skinny cow .99 each
      1 gillette fusion razor 9.99
      1 kashi cereal $3
1 bic soleil shimmer razor 5.99
      1 oral b cross action toothbrush 5.99
      1 puffs tissue .88
      Total 26.95
      $5/25 purchase
      B1g1 skinny cow
      4.00 pro glide
      2.00 kashi from recycle bank
      3.00 bic soleil
      3.00 toothbrush
      -$10 ECB from last week
      Oop: .83 plus tax!
      Get back: $5, $3, .99 in ECB!
Plus I still have an additional $2 in ECB from last week! I love cvs!

    • Janell

I'm still not understanding the BOGO deals and use of coupons at CVS. Using the Axe deal, for example,  if I use the BOGO coupons, am I able to use other MQ's for the products I am buying or will the BOGO attach to both products and give me issues? I don't usually get the good coupons at the CVS coupon center so I am not counting on that one but I do have a MQ for $2.50/2.

      • LizD

No, starting July 2011, CVS no longer accepts a BOGO coupon and another Q for the 2 products. Now if CVS had a BOGO, I think you can use 2 regular Qs, one for each.

    • Leeanneowens

I read on anothe site that as of July 1st CVS no longer allows you to use a B1G1 coupon and a cents off coupon together when buying two of the same product. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

      • Anne

I did'nt hear it, but when I went on Tuesday night, I was not allowed to do both a B1G1 and a dollar off coupon.  I was bummed.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Actually it has always been that way; it is just that now they may not be overriding the second one that beeps and alerts “coupon exceeds limit”

    • germangirl

How do I print the skinny cow bobo coupon?

      • CoreyJ

Go to the Skinny Cow FB page and like them …. Then you can access coupons to print

        • germangirl

They must be gone. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks, though!

          • Bamacat

I just printed the coupon twice.

      • germangirl

        I meant bogo

    • ColaMom

If anyone has Enfamil checks that they don't need, I will gladly take them.  I nursed for 7 months and gave mine away…well of course I need them now and never get any more in the mail :(  My email address is theclelands(at)att(dot)net.  THANKS!!

    • MomOf4

The preview of the flyer is showing that the magic box will print out a $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase, which means if you buy 2 of the products above, they should be 29 cents each!!!!!

      • MomOf4

        meaning the Revlon deal :)

    • Sue

Can I combine the $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase with a $5 off $25 purchase coupon?  Thanks.

      • MomOf4

I've done that before.  Use the 5/25 first, then the others.  The $3 is for make up only, so it's not like you're using 2 $$ coupons off your total.

      • Lillylizzard

yes you can i verifed it this morning wih cvs manager in my area.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

3/10 cosmetic purchase works like as if you had store $3 off on Covergirl lipstick Q.

    • Nicole Owens

Just tried to use first one dollar off gillette body wash coupon and then bogo did the policy change where this is not allowed anymore??

      • Amber

No, their policy didn't change. There is something in the fine print of the bogo q that will not allow another q to be used.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You will notice that upc code on bogo Q end in 14. This prompts theregister to give message “exceed coupon limit.”  If you use bogo first, it will prompt the cashier to enter the price of the item. If you then try to use $off Q. then the same message “exceed Q limit” will pop up. If you do the same in reverse order-hand in $1 off, then bogo, then bogo Q qill pro,pt the message “exceed Q limit”. However, in eaither case, they have the ability to overwrute that.

Technically speaking, manufacturers do not want their bogo Q to be coupled with $ off Q on same quantiity. However, it does not specifically state on Q that bogo “can not be coupled with any $ off Q on same quanityt”

    • Tori_rn

Great deal on diapers for anyone with a baby in size 1 or newborns… CVS has huggies Pure and natural diapers for 2.50 a pack or so on clearance!! At my store the tag wasn't marked that but when I price checked them they are that cheap. An AMAZING deal!

      • Amber

I bought 3 for baby shower gifts since only size N was available and a huggies deal printed on my receipt “buy 6 get a jumbo pack up to $11.99 free” so I combined more diapers my son's size with an awesome $3 off $15 baby items I got from redbox, 30% off nonsale items, and manuf. Q's for some super cheap diapers this month

        • Mandyward67

so how did the get one free work? After I buy 6 packs will it print a coupon for a free pack?

      • Brooke

Thank you for the tip!  We are expecting our first child in February, so I decided to see if I could find this deal while was the store.  I didn’t find clearance huggies, but I did find size 1 pampers on clearance for $2.74.  I bought the last 4 packs and was able to use the $2 coupons from last sundays paper.  Amazing deal, that got even better when the register printed the $1 ECB for the pampers promotion running this week.  Thanks Again!

    • Romy

Hi will both items on the skinny cow print ecb when using B1G1 free? thanks

      • jcompman

no.. Only 1 .99 EB will print out becuase it's Limit 1…

    • Ang

My store's ad has a gallon of TG Lee milk for $3.79 with $1 EB.  I also have $1 off any TG Lee product.  $1.79 for a gallon of milk is great.

    • michelle

If you go Saturday after 6 and buy the colgate sensitive toothpaste will you get the ecb for both weeks?

      • Danielle

No it will only give you one

      • Tishness1509

it will give you the cheaper price usually but police's are changing and we will not be allowed to release ad early anymore in certain districts so please dont depend on the sale to be active!!!!  im sure the toothpaste will be there sunday and monday and if your store knows what they are doing and order up for there couponer's like I do for mine we are guaranteed not to run out!! hope this is not to disappointing to you!!

        • Mandyward67

my store absolutely does not order enough product. A few weeks ago….they didn't get any of a certain product that was on sale in thier shipment that week! I find this so silly! If I don't go on Sunday morning…they won't have anything!

          • Jjfdv

Same for me if I don't go on sunday……it's rainchecks for the week.

          • jen

Rainchecks aren't the end of the world.  As long as your coupons don't expire the sale week.  I find that usually the inventory is there a week or so later.  Less stressful.  I went to CVS three times this week trying to get the Schick $10 ECB deal and finally got the raincheck.  Wish I had done that in the first place.

            • What's even more awesome is that many stores will even honor the EXPIRED coupons that go along with your raincheck. Seriously– rainchecks are not the end of the world. Quite often they can be even more awesome than getting the product when you originally wanted to. Better coupons might come out, or even additional $/$$ coupons might be available to use at a later date. You can't complain about that!

            • Christy

Yes, Nicky you are right!  I love CVS for understanding us couponers!!!  They have made exceptions on expired coupons for me before as well to go along with rainchecks!!  LOVE CVS!!!

            • Mayra

Just wondering how does it work if you get a rain check for something that would have given ECB's? because I don't think the computer would still print them … would they?
Thanks so much for reassuring ?

            • Twila

They have to key in the ECB'S manually. Be on top of things and make sure they don't forget! :)

            • The computer won't print them automatically. what happens is that they will ring the item up for the amount that it was on sale for on the raincheck, and then afterward they will manually print you the amount of ECBs you are due. It's no big deal. :-)

          • Krista

I was chatting with our store manager yesterday about this exact problem. She explained that they request items but don’t always receive them on the truck. She has specifically included things on her order knowing that us couponers wanted them and didn’t get any when the order came in! Unfortunately, it’s not always up to the individual store!

      • Brian

The toothpaste is on sale for $4.49 with $1.50 ECB thru Saturday, then for Sunday's sale it is $4.99 with a $3.00 ECB. The register sees the $4.49 price as cheaper and you will only get the $1.50 ECB. The $3.00 ECB will not print until SUNDAY morning.

    • Ririkj99

How does the 5 off of 25 work? If I spend 30.96 before the coupons (which include 2 B1G1 and a $1 off) which will leave me with 20.98 OOP before adding in my ECB's, will they let me use the $5 off?

      • Guest

use the 5 off before your other coupons.

        • Ririkj99

got it- so give the 5 then my other coupons correct?

          • Danielle

yes give it to them first

      • Jessica Patrick

I was going to ask the same question! I have a coupon for $10 off $50 purchase and I think I've figured a way to get almost all of the Febreze items that are on sale for free or almost free by using this coupon. I can't wait for Sunday morning!

        • Nancy

Could you share your Febreze list, please?

          • Jessica Patrick

Hey Nancy! I received some coupons from Home Made Simple in the mail a few weeks ago. I'll be using B1 Fabric refreshener, G1 Air Effects free (I have two of those coupons from the July P&G), $1 off One fabric refreshener, $1 offf one Set & Refresh, $1 off one Noticeables Warmer Dual Refill, (2) B1 Noticeables Refill, G1 Warmer Free, and B1 Flameless Luminary starter kit, G1 refill Free. I will also be adding a few filler items to get my total up to $50 (going to buy Gillette Body Wash with a $2Q and 4 packs of pringles with a $1Q). The total comes to around $52 before Qs. Going to apply the $10Q, then my regular Qs and will finish it off with the $5 and $3 ECB I got this morning from purchasing the Gillette razor and 4 12pks of Coke. My total should come out to about $5 out of pocket.

      • You sure can use it– as long as you met the purchase requirement before coupons. Now, *when* to use it is up for debate. Just to be safe, though, it's best to use it before all of your other coupons. :-)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Do not leave it on “if they let you use it.” Yes you can, period. Hand in 5/25 first. However, some have reported even if you scan it at the end after other coupons and even if the balance was less than 25, it would still work. Register memory reads the item prices total that rang up originally.  Any store/employees do not accept it, educate them, and call CVS if necessary. This is how it is done legally and any refusal on store part may be a violation of consumer rotection laws.

    • Hopebinegar

My Skippy Coupon in 7/31 RP is $0.75/1  So, If I use 3 coupons it makes Skippy $0.92 a jar.  Wish I had 18 coupons then I would also get $10 back in a gas card making it only $0.35 a jar.

    • JO

If shopping on Saturday night, Is there any way to combine the gas card items. In other words, can you buy some items from one week and some items from the next , and still get the $10 gas card. Just curious if anyone has tried it and been successful!

      • Mph_15

no… it will separate the items by week

    • Rowdy117

Anyone just signing up for upromise having problems adding drugstore/grocery loyalty cards to their account?  I'm getting an error with riteaid, cvs, and kroger.

      • Maryavon

Yes! Been trying for a couple of weeks to do this!

    • Real quick question, just in case anyone is floating around: Can I combine a $4 off $20 in Groceries coupon with a $4 off $20 entire purchase coupon?

      • JO

I think as long as you use the $4 off $20 entire purchase first it will work.

      • Sheila

I don't think you're supposed to use 2 open-ended coupons like that, but YMMV.  One CVS around me takes them, the others don't.  Ask the manager when you go in.

      • Thanks guys! I did read the bottom of the coupons, and the “$4-off $20 purchase” coupon does state that it cannot be used with another $4-off $20 purchase coupon, however the $4-0ff $20 in GROCERIES coupon does not have that stipulation. That would lead me to believe that they are two different types of coupons. In which case, I feel comfortable *trying* it, at least. If it won't go through, then oh well. But if it does– awesome!

        • Me

However, the $4 off $20 coupon does say it cannot be used with another $ off $$ coupons, so it is a one or the other situation.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think it means $4/20 total purchase (not item specific) can not be used with another $5/25 total purchase (not item specific)

            • Me

Unfortunately, no.  The policy is one $ off $$, whether it is specific or not.  The $4/20 states it cannot be combined with ANY other $ off $$ coupon, so even a item specific, like grocery, would not able to be used with it…its a one or the other deal…or split the transactions :-)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is a challenging question. I can only explain in register logic. If you only buy $20 purchase and it happens to be grocery only, then 4/20 entire purchase will surely kick in. So you would scan that. Now, your total would be $16. Therefore, I think, you may not use your 4/20 “grocery” purchase Q because your total is not 20 any more. The best thing to do would be to bring the total to $24 and use both-entire purchase one first and then grocery purchase one.

However, if you just purchased $20 and used both Qs. I think they both will still scan though. If someone else has a better understanding on this, please post

      • Just wanted to mention that this worked. :-)

I'm guessing that the $4/$20 grocery coupon was specifically a “grocery” coupon. This still allows a $5/$20-purchase coupon to be used.

I was able to get 6 boxes of Poptarts, 4 bags of Doritos, and two 2-liters of Pepsi for $10 even. To get there I used a $4/$20 Groceries coupon, and $4/$20 entire purchase coupon, (2) $2/3 poptarts coupons, and then I got the (2) 2-liters for free with their Doritos deal. Woot!

It was junk, but we so rarely get stuff like that, so it was nice to get it all for such a great price. It would have been less if I'd used my ECBs… But I'm stingy with those. I'd rather save them for other “stockpile” stuff that I buy to earn more ECBs, and use “real money” for food products since I know my husband will justify it if it's edible. LOL.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Was your total $20 or in the neighborhood? and not $24?

    • Ashley

Hi I had a quick question on my 1st. trans I'm going to buy 4 revlon nail polish! That will total to be 23.16 After I give my $5/20 and 3/10 then my (4)1.00.  I'll owe 11.16 now can I also use my 10% off for joining the beauty club?

      • Isu2014

I don't think you can use a 5/20 and a 3/10 on a $23 purchase. I would ask before starting your transaction. Also check your %off coupon to see if it can be used on sale items.

      • EB

You are only allowed to use one $/$$ coupon per transaction. I tried to use a $10/$50 last week with a $5 off $20 facial care coupon and said I could not use both even though $20 of the $50 total was facial care items.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Technically speaking, you should have been able to use it because $5 was item specific and you had fulfilled the condition of that coupon as stated on the coupon. Most employees have difficulty understanding such “complex” combos.

          • Me

Unfortunately EB is correct.  The coupons clearly state that $/$$ cannot be used together, no matter whether they are on any items or specific catagories.  Sorry, Mysterious_Mentalist for the misunderstanding.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

Which coupon states $/$$ can not be combined? $ off total or $off specific item total? They are two different coupons differemt in nature, though. Could you use store coupon that said “$5 Off of Olay X moisturize” with $ Off a total?

            • Me

It is the $4 off $20 that states it cannot be used with any other $ off $$ coupon.  Also, it is in the CVS “Almost Official” coupon policy on this sit.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

$5/20 and 10% Off are both on “any total” business transaction. Therefore, they are incompatible with each other and thus, techncally speaking, only one or the other can be used.  $3 on 10 cosmetic purchase is like a store coupon 3 off on Pantene shampoo, for example, and thus is item specific. Therefore, 3/10 Q can be used in the same transaction as the one with $off total purchase Q.

Hand in $5/25 or 10% Off whichever you choose, then 3/10 and so on. In case, they object to 3/10 Q. educate them that 3/10 is item specific and has nothing to do with “total” purchase.

      • As the previous poster mentioned, I'm pretty sure you can't use the $5/$20 with the $3/$10 coupon.  Also, the 10%-off coupon isn't going to work on anything that is on sale, unfortunately. It works on non-sale items and clearance merchandise. HTH!

    • Ang

The RP coupons in my newspapaer have $1 off 1 Skippy Peanut Butter.  Would make it $.66 a jar.  Yippy for Skippy!

    • Brandyblurbs

I have a quick question. I am headed to CVS to use my $5/$20 coupon and I have some rainchecks. When do I hand the cashier my rainchecks. I know I hand my $5/$20 coupon first, then my B1G1 coupons, then regular man. coupons. Do rainchecks qualify as store coupons? If so, I would give them last? Thanks for any advice!

      • In my experience, you just let them know ahead of time that you have rainchecks and then they use them as a reference to key in the correct price as they ring up the items. So, in other words, use the rainchecks before you even start the transaction. ;-)

      • no spend dad

from my experience. if you have a raincheck, let them know 1st because if not they have to go in and void out the price now and then type all that stuff in and then rescan coupons and product.

If a coupon expires on 7/31, can you use it on 7/31 or does it have to be before?

      • You can use it on 7/31.

      • charityhill

7/31 is the last day you can use the coupon.

      • You can use it on the day it expires.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      CVS employees!

Please do not use words like “Cracking Down” on coupons and the ilk. Corporate wants you to promote the legit and proper use of Q. You are scaring people when you make up some excuse to refuse Qs and then blame it on “corp crack down.” I am seeing a lot of you posting refusal of legit and valid Qs by employees who themselves do not know the logic of things. You may be taking the gossip too far; and being counter productive to the company's endeavors. Remember, Qs are now heavily promoted on weekly flyers across the spectrum. Not pulling a trigger, but being honest as I still like to continue to be a big fan of CVS

    • Jennamariescoupons

      Hi guys…can someone please help!
I lost my CVS card and I have $13 Extra Care bucks to spend. I see on their site that I an order a replacement card, but that will take awhile. Do you guys know if I have to use my own CVS card to use the ECB associated with that account, or can I just get a new card for the time being until my replacement arrives and use the ECBs from my original card with the new card…??? Make sense??? Any help is appreciated!

      • Tiff715

you should be able to give them your phone number at check out if its tied in with your account

      • Ag Black

You should be able to print you ECBs off their website under extracare if you are signed up with CVS online.

      • Candyapple19552000

I believe at the register all you have to do is give them your phone # until you get your replacement

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Ecbs are tied to your card. They will beep with your new card. And ecb you might get with your new card will also start beeping when you resume using your original card. Therefore, dont waste your time with a new card-it would be more trouble. You can use your phone number to pull your card.

      • Geraldsue

They may use your phone number.

    • Jennanne0214

I have a rain check on an item with an ECB but was able to purchase the item later in the sale week. If there was a limit and I may have reached it will I be able to use the rain check for another one, or will the register know when they key in the code? It's a rain check from a few weeks ago.

      • Alan

I don't think so, my CVS has to manually print out the ECB, but they usually just give me the item for free if it equals the sale price listed on the rain check.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

As of now, the system is not sophisticated at all, not even close. Therefore, you will just use it normally and it will be ok. Register will not detect that you have received the ecb already.

      • Ladybugpam

If you've reached the ECB limit, you will not get more on that deal.  check your receipt tallies to see if the limit is reached yet.

      • Katie

If you reached the deal you really shouldn’t use the rain check and receive the ECBs. You can get it for the sale price but I think CVS will eventually be able to tell if you already reached your limit or they may stop doing ECBs if people keep abusing them.

    • jas

is the revlon color cosmetics coupon good for nail polish?

      • Amy

Yes, but it usually beeps EVEN if the nail polish is pictured due to the coding on the polish. The newer bottles have a full barcode and the coupon does not beep on them.

        • jas

          thank you Amy!

    • Amber

The colgate transaction doesn't work out the way it's listed. Only $1.50 ECB given each limit 2.

      • Erin

That is because you got the current week deal instead of the one that starts tomorrow. Since the sale price this week is cheaper, that is what you got.

        • Amber

Thank you, Erin. I learn something new every week.

    • Amber

Puffs comes out to $0.80 per box, right?

    • Johnnyj1061

Well I went to CVS tonight at 8 which is only 2 hours past what time I usually go but I waited on a friend to join me tonight and to my  surprise they were already out of the bic razors but i quickly did a replacement filler and got the jeans huggies diapers and used that printable q from the red machine and got everything else I needed. I got home and thought it was awesome to get a $2 coupon inside but then I seen the expiration date was 12/31/2010? That was 7 months ago……..so to make my long question short is there a way that I can get a replacement coupon? Thanks for any help.

      • Ladybugpam

I always contact companies when my in-package or on product coupons are expired.  That shows the product was in the storeroom for a loooong time!  Doesn't matter much for diapers, but the way I feel is:
if the product was meant to come w/a valid coupon, I am entitled to a valid coupon.
The companies are usually helpful and willing to send out a replacement.  Good luck!

    • Themartins55

Went to CVS – got everything I had planned on…even better the Crest White strips were on on sale for $26.49 – and I had the $10 manuf coupon and $11 in ECBs…I paid  a little over $5 for them and I received $10 back – did this transaction twice since the limit was 2 (me and my hubby will have shiny smiles ) then my 3rd transaction I got 2 bottles of tide, febreze noticeable warmer, febreze noticeable refill, febreze air effects, febreze luminary light, febreze luminary refill , febreze fabric spray and Dawn dish liquid all for a whopping $3.48 (including tax)  My 4th transaction I got the fusion razor, the BIC soleil razor, crest mouth wash , oral b electric tooth brush for a little over $12…I'm so happy !!! I love CVS!!

      • Themartins55

I meant 2 bottles of Wisk on transaction 3

      • Nancy

What coupons did u use for Febreze?

    • inKY

To use up extra care bucks, does your total have to be equal or greater to your ECB amt. before or after taxes? THANKS

      • BoonaMom

Preferrably, yes, you would want your total to be more than your ECBs. You can use your ECBs if it is less, but you will lose the overage. For ex, if you have $5 in ECBs, but your total comes to $4.50 pretax, you can only use $4.50 in ECBs and you would lose the $.50. You would be better off finding something else that is $.50 to not lose it.
This being said, order of coupons does matter.

      • Alan

No, but you'll want to get as close to the total of your ECB, or their system will automatically reduce it down.

        • Kaela

I'm curious where in Ky your from? I'm here too. lol.

    • Dakota

When does the Garnier month long deal end?  I was hoping to buy $15 of Garnier shampoo and get $5 ECB from the month long deal Sunday (7/31) which would also count $15 toward the gas card deal that starts Sunday.  Does anyone know if this will work?

      • Blaine

I work at CVS and that sale will end tomorrow (7/31) so you will still be able to do that.

      • KaylaC

I thought it was a month long deal, too. But Wednesday when I went to pick them up, they told me that the deal was no longer available. We rang them up and they were 4.99 each, so I'm holding out for another sale.

    • rrrmkm

i really wish i could've gotten in on the schick deals this week…i just don't seem to get the schick Q's in my papers :(
but yay for cvs, still got lots of freebies & cheapies :)

    • Robynpednurse

okay is the Axe 4.49 EACH?  and how does the B1G1 work with that?

      • The shower gel, deoderant and body sprays are on sale for 4.49, the b1g1 free coupon is for shower gel or scrub tool. I opted to get 2 scrub tools are i think 6.15 each and 2 shower gels because i had 2 coupons and I got 3 bonus bucks back. making it about 13.00 before 3.00 bucks back. you can get a better deal using the B1G1 free coupon with 4 shower gels making it about nine dollars for all 4 before 3 bucks back but my son wanted the scrub tools.

Just to make sure I'm reading things right. You can use multiple ECBs on a single item as long as it doesn't bring your total in the negative?

      • Jjfdv

That is correct.  Very simple at cvs!

        • KH

All this time and I never knew that. Oh it's on now!

          • Zarate06

And actually, you could even bring your total into the negative and they will adjust it down. Today, my total was $3.92 and I handed them a $4 ecb. Gotta love cvs!

    • Sealine75

If your planning to get the Gillette ProGlide Power Razor, be on the look-out for a bonus pack.  My CVS had one regular pack (razor and spare cartridge) and shave pack that also included a small shave cream, some type of scrub and a cooling gel.  It was the same price and you get the extra bucks on it.

      • Laura

I went looking for the bonus pack at walmart today since I didn't have time to hit cvs….and it scanned for only $4.97 so I got 2 for only .97 each.

    • Just got back from CVS and had an awesome run, saving 64.00 and spending 16.00 OOP and got a gas card too.

Wanted to mention that the red box printed a coupon for FREE Kotex U panty liners, value up to a 1.77 in my store the liners were 1.43, I think there was a coupon last week for these so might be worth taking along in case you get the coupon too.

Also for the 3/10 cosmetics coupon this makes a great pairing with Covergirl Naturlux line which is B1G1 50% off and use the 5.00/2 coupon from 6/5 (I think, exp 7/31) I got two of the lipsticks for 3.25 for both.

      • Sealine75

I got the free coupon for those as well.  I just got them free, didn't even check to see if I had a manufactor's coupon to pair it with *doh*.

    • jennaj81

how funny is it that in the $10 gas deal we are offered candy and weight loss supplements? haha!

    • For the first time I can ever remember, my local CVS store sales varied from the list here at Southern Savers . The Soliel Bic razors were not on sale at my CVS and I received no ECB for the purchase. Instead, Schick Hydro razors were on sale with ECB. Wish I had checked my paper against my list but didn't realize until I got home and checked my receipt. Not worth driving 10 miles back to the store for $3 but I learned my lesson today and will always check my sales paper from now on… There was a good deal at my store not listed here on Orville Redenbacher popcorn 3-4 ct. pop-up bowls 2/$3 I believe it was part of the gas deal but that may not be on sale at everyone's store, I guess…

    • Lucyh70

I LOVE CVS!!!  1st transaction:  Proglide power razor, 2 Bic Solei cartridges (had a raincheck from a couple of weeks ago), & 2 boxes of Efferdent for my mom.  Used: $5 when U spend $25, $4Q, 2-$3Qs, $1Q (RESPECTIVELY), & $10 in ECB from last week.  Totla OOP=$2.09.  2nd transaction: 2-Crossaction power toothbrushes, 4-Dawns, 2-Skinny Cow candys.  Used: 2-$3Q, 4-$0.50Qs,  B1G1, & $8 ECB from previous transaction.  Total OOP=$0.99 and got $8 ECBs back.  I got $49 worth of free merchandise and paid the tax on it($3.09).  Actually the tax would have been $3.43, so I couponed Uncle Sam as well.  What a GREAT WEEK!!!!!

    • oops! just figured it out. The clerk gave me last weeks sales paper when I asked for one. I bought the Bic Soliel “Bella” rather than the “Shimmer” so that was why no ECB. I feel like an idiot now. evidently, the popcorn was on sale last week too.

    • No Colgate coupons in my SS this week. I swear this is a conspiracy to make people discouraged about using coupons so they'll give up.

      • JO

        Coupons vary by region.

        • That's my point. They make it so confusing so people will stop using websites like these.

Actually, I have seen it vary from paper to paper. I get the Observer delivered and I sometimes buy it at the store and there are always differences. If by “region” you mean “within a 2-block radius” then, yep! :D

          • Shelly

I assure you they are not following blogs sites like this and then purposely leaving coupons out of your personal newspapers!!  Every region gets different coupons…that's the way it's always been.  Many times my coupons are more than the listed amount on this site, sometimes it's less.  Jenny does a great job trying to list everything, but we can't rely on her to do EVERYTHING.  She is laying the groundwork…you have to make it work for where you live.

      • Angelascoupons1

I am switching to crest 3d white so I am happy to send you my Colgate coupons. Just email me your address at angelascoupons1@hotmail.com.

    • Mcgraw811

Has anyone tried the Axe deal with the B1G1 coupons?
I went to CVS this am to buy the Gillete body wash (3), the razor and the oral b brushl  I used 5/25, manufac, q's and left over ECB's and paid .48cents and got back $6 ECB's very happy!

      • Lindsay De Jesus

Yeah the Axe was 4 at 17.96 minus the 8.98 for the free ones, and a 2 off axe at the coupon center….6.98 for the 4 and 3 back…so like 1 dollar apiece. If you had rollover buck even better, and this does count toward the beauty rewards also!!!!

      • Portraitsbytamika

I just used the b1g1 on axe and it worked just fine.  Just made sure I matched up with what I was supposed to (gel or spray etc.).  I got back (2) $3 EB Rewards!

    • Jjfdv

I've been couponing for about 2 years. Had my 1st bad experience at cvs this morning.  I placed my items on the counter and the cashier said to the other customers, “Look it's one of those extreme couponers”.  She asked for my coupons up front so she could match them to items.  Then she tried to tell me the crest mouthwash coupon didn't match because of the picture.  She left the register (with people in line behind me) to show me which mouthwash matched my coupon.  I explained to her it was the words not the picture and asked to speak to the manager. Then she gave in .  We went back to the register, rang my items and  I left.  I was soooo embarrased.  By the way I was purchasing 2 mouthwashs, 1 shampoo and the “free” kotex liners (from the redbox).  Hardly extreme! I got a great deal but I don't want to go back to that cvs again.

      • Stonoferry

Oh, I think I would have to go there daily with lots of coupons, and make sure and say “Bless your heart” at least 25 time a day to that cashier. She needs a better attitude :)

        • Chris

Better attitude?  Sounds like that cashier needs an attitude adjustment!  Maybe a call to Corporate with her name mentioned in the complaint would help make that happen.  Hardly an extreme purchase.

          • Kaela

I would have been so embarrassed too! That was ridiculous and I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation. I do know that couple weeks ago well last week I think I went and bought like $100 worth of stuff(things I needed to stock up on so I wouldn't have to buy until the next good sale.)- quite a bit of stuff for only the tax amount and they weren't  ringing up even though it was after 6 on saturday so there were about 4 people behind me so O let them all go ahead and I knew the cashier who knows I come  with my coupons and the last woman who had only 1 item- thanked me several times and I told her no problem(even if they were ringin up I always let others go ahead of me if I have a big purchase) and smiled and proceeded to get my items out and the cashier started explaingin I was one “of THOSE extreme couponers” and you know at first I was kind of mad but I quickly got over it and smiled and said ” Well why wouldn't you save when you can?” and went on with my purchase. I don't think my cashier was meaning to be mean like yoiurs clearly was but I think they all think of us as those people on TLC and we're not all hoarding couponers-most
of us are just regular people trying to just save some money.

            • Portraitsbytamika

These cashiers make you become negative and have mean looks on your face when you are not that type of person.  I start off very nice and then I let them dictate how the rest of the transaction will go.  Either its all smiles or they will have the full sense that I will shove my coupon binder down their throats should they try anything.  I wish someone would call me an extreme couponer and mock me to the other customers.  Unacceptable!

Call me an extreme couponer and I’ll call you too stupid to understand how to save money.  That’s fair right?

      • Save41614

        they think they owner cvs

      • Lindsay De Jesus

        Which CVS was it??

        • Jjfdv

38th ave. Myrtle beach.  Sweet Angela was my cashier.

      • You should have said, “If I walk out of here with more money than I came in with, then we'll know if I'm an extreme couponer. For now, let's just get down to business.” I've been saving that one in case I ever get accused of being an extreme couponer.

        • Jjfdv

Actually….. I did walk out with more.  Used 3 ECB, my coupons and got back 7 ECB.  That makes me smart tho not extreme.  LOL

          • Jjfdv

Had rainchecks and green bag tag reward.

      • Jakingirl

that sounds so horrible. i work for a retail grocery store and let me tell you, that comment is completely unacceptable. i myself see nothing wrong with saving as much as you can. this street goes two ways. believe me, i have people get mad and so nasty to me because our system will not take $4 off an item that is $3.79. Sorry we cant give you credit for more than the purchase price of the item. when they are purchasing 22 of the same item, it gets alittle out of hand. i think we all need to remember the golden rule and treat each other respectfully.

      • ireneY

There's a CVS cashier that did something similar to me. Acted like I wasn't there and asked the lady behind me if she used Qs, obviously trying to shame me. The lady was nice and said it was too complicated for her. Then when ringing me up, just hands back Qs without explanation, like she's judge and jury. Now whenever I see her, I make it a point to wait longer in another line rather than deal with her attitude. Some people think less of you for using Qs, but be proud that we know the secret to living well and debt free!

      • I had a similar experience at my CVS. I let about three customers check out ahead of me because i had about three seperate transactions, when it was finally my turn i checked out the first transaction and the cashier said if you have more than 2 I am going to check everyone else behind you out first and I said that I had waited my turn and i had two more transactions. When leaving the cvs i was ANGRY and called the customer service line and told them the event and the cashier”s name and store number. The customer service lady was extremley helpful and appoligized she also gave me a 5 dollar curtousy bonus bucks on my card. Call the customer service line on back of your card and report it.

      • MaMims

I can't believe that you were treated like that. I go to the same CVS, most of the time, but tried a new store with a friend today. I had the same great experience at the new location, as I do my usual Aiken, SC store. I'm so appreciative of helpful cashiers! I'm sorry that you had that experience today.

    • Kaela

My biggest local carrier only had 3 of the inserts this moring and not the P & G insert so my in laws are vacationing in Myrtle Beach but are on their way this morning and I was goign to call and see if they'd pick me up a paper from that way( We're in Ky) so I believe their coming through SC, NC and TN so would anyone in that directions know the best big carrrier to get them to pick up? Thanks for any help!

      • Rlynn103

Charlotte Observer has all the inserts!

        • Yes, but no Colgate coupons!

        • Kaela

Okay Thanks guys I called to tell them which papers to look for. And as far as the Colgate ones we actually got those here in my paper in KY but I buy the Knoxville News Sentinel.

      • Sweetpmeg637

The post ans courier had all of them in charleston/summerville area.

      • NIBOR9902

      • Dtcox

the winston salem jounral had them this morning if not gone

    • Laharrison

Wisk is on sale BOGO(10.39). Coupon in Sunday paper for $2 off 1. Using one coupon per bottle makes it $6.39 for 2 Bottles of wisk.

      • I did this too, at my store it was 8.39 with 2 Q's it came to 4.65 with tax….sweet!

    • connie

I just came back from CVS and from the coupon machine I got a $3 off 10 cosmetic and a coupon for free 18ct U by kotex pantiliners.

The manager there told me they were out of the bic razors and all the local stores are because the manufacter is behind production because so many sales have been ran lately on them. Not sure if it's effecting anyone else or not.

      • Johnnyj1061

My store was out last night too. And we nevere did get the motrin 20 cts that were on sale like 2 months ago.

      • Dtcox

got the same coupons in v a today too thats right on razors in v a too get a rain ck i did for later

    • Cheryl

When I scanned my card today, I got a coupon for $3 off any $15 purchase and a $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon. I bought 4 packs of Diet Coke and two of the Skinny Cow candies. Used the $3 off $15 Q, a $5 ECB from the ProGlide Razor, and a $1 off Coke Q from Recyclebank. Paid $5.92 and got $3.99 ECBs. Nice!

      • Portraitsbytamika

I got the same when I scanned my card!  I racked up on the AXE special because I had B1G1 coupons for them, so I got 2 sprays and 2 gels for about $3!  I love that, my husband was skeptical on the coupon clipping, but now he is sold!  Unfortunately, they did not have the ProGlide Razor or the Soleil, SOLD OUT.  I will try another CVS when I got for my orthodontist appointment on Wednesday.  Oh I also scored Colgate ProHealth for $99!  I am so excited about all the savings.

    • I just got back and I did pretty well, I think. I had the B1G1 for Skinny Cow so I was able to make some money on that one. I had 3 Ensure coupons: $1/1, $2/2, B3G1 free, and the Ensure purchase went to the gas card. I also had $1/20 Friskies and they were on sale and went toward the gift card, too. I have 9 cats, so it's really not a lot. :D
I got 4 Fridgepacks of Coke for $13 and got the $3 ECB. I was also finally able to cash in my Rephresh tampon raincheck from like a month ago. They finally had the darned things in stock! So I paid about $46 for everything and left with $21 in various types of credits. This is pretty good for me because I'm a pretty inept couponer.

    • MomOf4

Had a great run!  Bought the Bic shimmer razor blades ($3 Q), Gillette Power razor ($4 Q), 2 Skinny Cow (B1G1 Q) and 2 Revlon Lipsticks (2 $1 Qs and $3/$10 Q).  Added the $5/$25 Q into the mix.  Total was $11.61 before tax, used $11 ECBS, got back $14.99 ECBs!!!  The $5/$25 made it a money maker trip!!

    • guest

today i got a $2 off a gold emblem chip, popcorn, or cheese curl 11oz -16oz. The tortilla chips were 2 for $3…so it was a money maker. I had to get two little caramels:)

      • guest

      • Dtcox

    • Deanna_RN

Had a good time at CVS.  Got 2 nivea body washes which were priced and $6 but priced matched them with Rite Aids sale of $3.99.  4 skinny cow bars and two dawn detergents at 99 cents. I used (2) .050 coupons for the dawn, I had (2)bogo and 2 $1 off coupons for the skinny cow bars and (2) $2 off of the Nivea body wash. Total cost before any deduction was about $22.00, paid $5.74 :)

      • Donna091960

They price matched with another store?

        • Deanna_RN

Yep, the cashier called the manager and they talked while I went and got the nivea and when I came back I showed her the rite aid ad and she gave it to me for their sale price.

          • Kaela

I thought the $1 qs for the skinny cow for another product other than the .99 sale?

            • Erin

They are, they're for the multipacks not the singles.

    • Pohcbmal

I'm new to cvsing but am sold! This morning I saved $57.59 and spent out of pocket 1.19 + got $9 in ecb!!!! Btw the one I went to had Frutis gel for $1.14 on clearence + the $1 off coupons= sweet deal!!!

      • Lolo2183

        please tell me details!

        • Portraitsbytamika

Mostly dirty stares and/or looks of disgust.  I don’t know why.  I was very organized and did not hold up the line with my transactions.  I was sort of turned off by the experience because the cashier has been very friendly to the other customers but not to me.

      • Portraitsbytamika

The folks at CVS were sort of rude when I came in with my coupons.

    • Emilydianne808

Help! Anyone please tell me how to get the skinnycow coupons. cant find them anywhere on facebook?

      • Portraitsbytamika

I found mine in the weekly coupons not on facebook.

        • Kaela

They had them on facebook and in the paper today.

    • Portraitsbytamika

I am looking for Pampers Easy Up coupons for the jumbo packs.  If anybody has any please email me at portraitsbytamika (@gmail.com). Thanks!

      • jessc5

If you have a Walgreens close by, I saw some on clearance for $3.?? or less .  You might check them out!

        • Portraitsbytamika

Awww man, we don't have one in my area!  That's the best deal ever.

    • Wetbubbles

Love the cashiers and managers at my local CVS but they are always out of what's on sale.

      • Dianne L

Get rain checks. they never expire at CVS!

        • mommyof1

Yay cvs rainchecks! and many items that you get on the rainchecks ALWAYS have coupons in the papers/online.. so even if your coupons expire and they are still out of stock.. just hold onto your check and wait for another great coupon.. i bought the rephresh tampons yesterday (they havent had them for weeks) and found a coupon for $1 off while i was waiting until i could get them.. so the deal actually MADE me money for waiting! This happens all the time =)

    • Angelascoupons1

My CVS was out of the bic shimmer razors, but the fab assistant manager just let me sub a soleil. I was glad because while I would have taken a rain check, I really didn't want to make another trip back to the store. My only complaint is that I purchased some summer stuff from what was supposed to be clearance but it did not ring up at 20% off. When I realized this, I was already done and there was a huge line. For $1.20, I will let it go. Not worth going back for a price adjustment.

      • Peggy

I went to 2 CVS stores today – they were out of the Bic shimmers at both and neither would substitute a soleil.  I got a raincheck and hope my $3 coupon won't expire before they restock.

        • Just keep the coupon and your raincheck together. If it expires, many stores will still accept it anyway. :-)

          • Peggy

            Thanks.  Good idea.

    • Dtcox

cant beat my cvs in v a they was out of some stuff today but no problem got rain cks and got a gas card and 47.69 for 14.70 so it was 4.70 great //// next got 12.25 for 0 and 3.00 back in bucks . was so hard to find a paper today ///// but i finally find one and it did have 2 ss and 1 r p and 1 p and g …… thank you jenny

    • Surfergirl8989

Hey guys quick question. What order should you hand your coupons to the cashier? I know theres been debate about this.  Is it : ” $3 off $15 purchase”, CVS coupons, manu. coupons, then ECB? Thanks so much!

      • Peggy

That's usually how I do it.  I don't think the order matters on CVS coups or manu. coups but the $3/$15 should definitely be first and the ECB's last (because you may not be able to use them if you total goes below their value.

        • Surfergirl8989

          ok thanks so much

    • Chandal_ruth

I just wanted to let everyone know that when I went to CVS this morning I got a coupon for free box of kotex pantyliners and $2 off gold emblem chips which were on sale for $1.50.

    • Elmlinga1

      Wow! I had a great trip at cvs this morning. I got 4-24 pks water @ 1.5 each,  3-Fructis @ 3.99, 2 Tesemme @ 2.5, 4 12pk coke @ .82, Soleil @ 1.33, 2 Dawn @ .56,  Fusion @3.59 and a $10 gas card for $37.87. I'm hooked.

      • steph

hi elmlinga1… i was wandering how did you get the 24 pks water for 1.5??? my husband drinks water like no tomorrow lol. was there a coupon??? if there was where can i find it? TIA ;)

    • Applegirl99

Question for the pros… I got a $10 off $50 and a $3 off $10 makeup coupon from the redbox today… am I able to use them both in the same transaction?

      • Jessica

      • Mary

No, you are only allowed 1) CVS x / $xx (money off X amount)per transaction. ECVS is no limit.

        • Guest

To use both the person can spend over $60 ($50 for the $10 off, and $10 for the $3 off).  You can use as many $ off $$ in a transaction, as long as you spent enough to equal them combined.

      • tcmomof4

Yes you can. The 3 off 10 is for makeup and the 10 off 50 is for your total purchase. You just can't use two of the total purchase ones together. I did this today with the same coupons and it worked.

      • You sure can! The $3/$10 is a coupon specific to cosmetics. The $10 off $50 is a total purchase coupon, so it can be combined with any other coupon aside from one like itself (another total purchase coupon, as a previous poster mentioned).

      • Mandyward67

you normally can. just make sure you always give your 10 off 50 before any other coupons

      • Chris

The $3/10 Q is not just for makeup – it is for any HBA product.  I used mine on the Gillette razor deal without issue.

      • Guest

You can use both in the same transaction….  If you spend $60+.   You need to spend enough to cover both coupons.

    • Ckjohnson

Where do you get the 5$ off 25$ Q?

      • pf

They sent mine through an email and had a choice to transfer it to my reward card or print it.

    • Kfcgcj

I printed scotch double sided tape and foam mounting square coupons and now forgot where the best place to use them was. Help please :) and thank you!

    • Jklyles1

CVS had Garnier hair gel 75% off. It was $1.12 and i had $1 Q…2 hair gels for 12 cents each!!!!! Walk around the store..u never know what you will find!!!!

      • Kaela

Great deal! I saw those at my store the other night too but my store was already sold out.

      • Barbara

Just in case anyone else has a store like the one I go to…the clearance items never have a price on them but I realized you can scan them at the red box and print out the price for each item! Good to know now that I've passed up a bunch of clearance because I didn't want to take it all up to the front for a price check.;0)

    • Finally got my skinny cow today.. yeah!

    • Cmj_shine03

how  many times can  you use the red box machine to print out coupons? Can you get one every trip

      • Erin

You can keep scanning your card until it stops printing anything, when you have everything it will tell you to try again tomorrow.

        • You can scan it everyday as many times as coupons will print, I sometimes get different coupons sometimes the same.  I will often get the same coupons in a week as they expire quickly and pretty much always get candy coupons too.

    • AM

Do I need to buy all 30.00 worth of items (for the gas card promo) at the same time,
or can I purchase in different transactions on different days and still receive the gas card?

      • Mrs. O'Dell

You can purchase the items over more than one transaction.

        • AM

          Thank you for your reply!

    • I'm glad I ventured out to try and use up the last of my coupons that were expiring today. In one transaction I was able to get (4) Gillette Bodywashes and (2) Naturaluxe Lip Glosses for $1.20 before tax– that was without using any ECBs! I think I did end up adding a couple caramels and using a $2 ECB to make the transaction $1.57 total OOP. (Which was pretty much all taxes.) But seriously, I was stoked. :-D

    • Applegirl99

The $10 gas card promo, is it $30 before or after coupons?

      • Guest

    • Wolfsign1

Hello… im learning… the cvs page, for yesterdays coupons , says there is a coupon for “skinny's cow” and it was 7/31 RP… if im correct that is yesterdays paper incert for the red plum, on sunday 7/31../???   i have two different incerts from two different pappers and can not find a B1G1 coupon for this product… what am i missing.. i did the printable one and got it… where is the other one.???

      • Mandyward67

some cities don't get the same coupons!

      • It was on the front page of the RP insert, And as said below, unfortunately not all the same coupons are in every paper

      • Mvtdeals

Neither of my Red Plum inserts had it.  I printed it from Jenny's link.  The two News and Observers I bought didn't even have the Proctor and Gamble insert.  Bummer.

    • starter

if i got a $4 off of $20 in my email and used it once. Can I use it again before it expires?

      • sb

No, it's a one time use coupon. The register will beep and a prompt will read something like “Coupon already used”

        • starter

          okay thank you!

    • Chrisfordflorida

Can you perform two of the same 'deals' for the extrabucks. i.e. buy 4 skinny cow candy, use 2 B1G1 coupons and get 2 x $.99 back?

      • Nancy

No, there's a limit 1 ecb per card. You can get 2 free.

      • Guest

The deal is limit 1 per household. You will only get the ECB once.

    • acrossley

      Hey guys –
I just CVS'ed for one of my first times and had planned out my purchases for the gas card. Here were my buys:
      Tresemme (2) – $7
      Dove Shampoo (2) – $6
      Ragu (3) – $5
      Skippy (3) PB – $5
      Lipton Tea(2) – $5
      Coke 2 Litre (3) – $2.97

My receipt says I only spent $23.97 towards the card. I used coupons, but I thought it didn't effect the balance as long as they were given at the end – and I did. Am I missing something here?

      • JoJo

I am not sure why it didn't work for you unless an item rang up at a lower price and the original amount spent was less than 30 dollars. I got the deal using coupons to lower my final price, so it should have worked for you, too!

If your receipt shows that you spent 30 dollars before coupons, I think I would show it to the manager and ask why your total did not show up correctly.
Now, I am not an expert on this, so someone else may have a better idea. I am sorry you didn't get the card.

      • lay may

I'm not positive but it may be that one of the items you bought wasn't included (for example, if it were Tressemme Shampoos but not stylant)
I'm not sure of the specifics but that would be my suggestion, check exactly what you bought verses exactly what is included.
and definitely talk to a manager and see if they can mitigate the problem. if that doesnt work email higher up with a scanned copy of your reciept.

        • acrossley

Thanks so much …. I just reviewed the ad and limit and it appears I have it all correct. I am going back tomorrow to talk to the manager. I'll update you guys then!

      • Terranalexander

I had trouble too. After going through what I had bought, the cashier spoke with another one and she said they were having trouble with the Tresemme products ringing up to go toward the card.  She over rided it and printed out $10 ECB and she used it for the gas card.  Although out list are almost identical and I had all the coupons.  I wondered too if it really was the coupons.

    • ab

Can someone explain the Pampers/Huggies buy 6 get a jumbo pack free promotion? How long does it last? Do you get an ECB for it or just add it in to the purchase? I didn't see anythign about it in the ad, but I got a message on my receipt that I just needed 4 more to qualify. TiA.

      • Amber

After the 6th is purchased it prints like an ecb. Idk how long it lasts

    • Janell

Can anyone explain this to me?? I got an email for the $5 off $25 coupon with the option to send it to my card or print it. I figured I would try to send it to my card (one less coupon to worry about). When I got to the register with over $30 in items, I gave them my card first thinking that would take care of the $5 coupon but it didnt come off. I know the coupon was on my card because it gave me a summary at the red box saying as much. After a LONG conversation with the manager, we decided he didnt know why it wouldnt come off but couldnt do anything about it. Anyone have the same issue or have any suggestions?

      • sb

Your best bet will be to call CVS' Customer Service. Let us know what they tell you! The coupon to the card is new so, it sounds like they have some kinks to work out.

    • Janell

CAUTION!!! If you have the option to send your CVS Coupons from your email to your card, DO NOT DO IT! I just spoke with Customer Care after my $5 off $25 I sent to my card did not work and was informed that if it is ON your card, it will only come off AFTER all other coupons are applied. The coupon I had was valid for sale items and my pre-coupon purchase exceeded $25. I was told that this is a coupon that cannot be reset and therefore, if I want to take advantage of it before it expires today, I am “welcome to go back and make another purchase over $25 after coupons”. So the program designed to make it easier, will actually make you spend more. I will print my coupons from now on…lesson learned :)

      • Chris

Wow – nice gimmick they have going there.  Thanks for letting us all know!

      • Mapteacher123

i used mine before coupons and it worked but cvs wouldnt stack coupons said new policy…had a b1g1 and had coupon off of item, could only use one

        • danielle

I didn't have a problem with it.  Mine came off automatically at the register once my total hit $25, then i used my coupons and paid only, 76 cents!

    • Troop949

Can anyone tell me if the “Extra Protection” diapers are included in the Pampers deal?  I couldn't tell from looking at the ad.  Thanks!

    • shelley

also deal towards gas card:  skippy peanut butter 3/$5.00 – use 3 ($1 off one jar) – coupon in 07/31 circulars can't remember if it was ss or rp – makes them .67 cents each!!

    • Marlamae

Went to cvs last night, got only a few things, but i think i still got a deal! haha

      #1 transaction
        – Bic simmer razor refills (they were out of the razors… )
          5.99 – $2 coupon, got $3ecb
      #2 transaction
        – Tresseme hair gel
          3.50 – $1 coupon
        – 2 skinny cow clusters ( which r yummy!)
          $.99×2 – BOGO free
        – $3ecb
         got $.99 ecb
So for these few items i paid about $5 and have $.99  to start my deal next wk!

      • Melissa

The Bic coupon is for razors only. It doesn't say anything about cartridges. You should not have been able to use the coupon.

        • Marlamae

o, hmm it didn't beep and i didn't really think about it when i handed to her b/c i was planning on buying the razor. If i would have realized it, i wouldn't have used it…..  sorry, not trying to use coupons on things they aren't for!

    • kcdeanna

Went to CVS on lunch hour and got some great buys.  Bought the husband 4 Axe body washes with 2 B1G1 Q with $3 ECB.  They were on sale for $4.49 but she gave me $5.79 on the value off so I ended up getting all 4 for $3.38! That wasn't all I got but it was by far my favorite deal.

    • Priya

Anyone know if the dove 2in1 shampoo is in the gas card deal. My friend and I want to try the following deal we don'd have that many coupons each:
      1 dove 2in1 $3
      2 dove shampoo $6
      2 dove conditioner $6
      3 dove stylant $15
      Total $30
            – $5   $5 off $25 CVS
            – $15 use (5) B1G1 dove stylant from yesterday
OOP $10 Get $10 gas card

    • Kathryn21

Had a good trip to CVS!!!

20 cans of Friskies cat food  (10/$4)
2 Skinny Cow candies (.99 each)
1 bag of Gold Emblem cheese balls  ($2.49)  **Didn't realize these weren't $1.50 until I got home!

Used the B1G1 Skinny Cow coupon
Red Box gave me a $2 off Gold Emblem chip coupons
$1 off 20 cans of Friskies cat food
      $5 Beauty Club RR
      Total OOP: $3.76
Not too bad in my opinion for 23 items!

      • Kathryn21

Forgot to mention the $.99 for the Skinny Cow ECBs!!!

        • lay may

Great job! I have to try again at CVS, they're shelves were baren!

    • Dianne L

I don't see the $1.50  Colgate sensitive toothpaste in my AJC. Are we missing it?

      • Bamasaver

I don't see it in my AJCs either–must not have gotten that one.

        • Longhorn469

          me either!!!

      • Terranalexander

        it expired 7/31

    • Nanspittle

This is my first time trying the CVS gar promo.  Do you need to spend $30 before or after any coupons?

    • Nanspittle

This is my first time trying the CVS gas promo. Do you need to spend $30 before or after any coupons?

      • lay may

before! i am doing it again this week
ex: last time we bought 8 packs of water, a total of just under $32
used $8 in coupons ($1 off each 32 pack)
so I was only spending $24 (less after using some previous ECB) but still got to get the $10 gas card
        good luck(:

      • Sandra

        Before coupons

    • Cyndi

I have a q concerning the bogo planters peanuts that qualify for the $10 gas card.  They are $6.99 each, would that count as $13.98 for the 2 (towards your $30 purchase)  or would it be only $6.99 (after they take off the $6.99 for the BOGO)?  Thanks

      • lay may

my understanding is that both would count towards your total, just as you can use coupons but the “retail value” of the item is what counts

        • Kendahl Throckmorton

nope…It doesn't work that way.  I ended up with a very angry cashier last week trying to pull this off.  They had the kleenex b1g1 and so I used coupons and my free ones to get me up to the $30 plus a few other items.  I even asked the cashier before I checked out if this was enough to get me to the $30 and she said that they never know until they ring out the whole order.  I paid for it all and nothing printed out.  I explained to her all of my items and how my retail was over $30 and she called up the manager who was not very nice in telling me that the B1G1 only count one of the products towards retail and how us “crazy couponers” are just trying to steal items. Totally not fair judgement.  So, I returned all of the items towards the gas immediately. I tried to talk it through with him and he just got all angry so I just gave up.

        • EB

In my experience, If the sale is BOGO, then the 2nd one does not count toward the required totals for ECB or gas cards because it rings up as $0 and the deals trigger off of what the register total is before coupons. It is different if you have a BOGO coupon since both prices add to your total initially and trigger the deal, but then the price comes down with the BOGO coupon.

          • This is exactly right. You aren't paying anything for the “free” item when the store has the BOGO sale. That being the case, you don't get credit for it as a purchase. However, if a *coupon* gives you an item “free”, it will still count as a purchase because your coupon is redeemable for cash value to the store. While you are getting the second item for free (thanks to the manufacturer) the store is still getting paid for it, so it can count towards whatever totals you are trying to reach.

    • Sharyl

My CVS was out of the Gillette Fusion Proglide Power.  So I check the paper and it said power or manual.  So I got the manual for $7.79 and used the $4 (7/31) and got the $5 ECB.  That made it free and a money maker.

      • Guest

The 5 ECB doesn't print out when I bought a manual one for $7.79 earlier today.

        • Chris

The manual for $7.79 only has one blade in with it.  You have to get the Fusion ProGlide manual that has 2 blades in it (the packages are identical except one has a battery on the right-hand side and says Power while the other does not).  They are then the same price at $9.99 so you can get either/or.

    • Birgit Gilbert

does anyone know what kind of products you have to buy to get the $5 ecb when you spent $15 on dove?

      • Johnnyj1061

I think that doesnt start until this coming week 08/06.

        • Birgit Gilbert

It showed on my receipt that I have $5.96 and need $9.04 to earn 5 ecb when you spent $15 on Dove. I bought 6 different Dove items and it totaled more than that so I don't know which ones count. It is not even in the sales paper nor does Jenny have it listed so I have no clue.

    • EDD454SS

just got 10 dove shampoo, conditioner and one gold emblem popcorn.  used 5 bogo
dove coupons rp 7-31 and one red box gold emblem and paid less than 9.00 an
      received a 10.00 gas card

      • KoopaKoopon

How did you pay less than $9? Wouldn't your Dove shampoo and conditioners come out to $15?

        • EDD454SS

its the way the coupon scanned , i dont have my reciept in front of me but i know two when scanned took off 6.00 each automaticaly, i know one the cashier put in the full before sale price 4.45 ?, and maybe the other two she wrote in the actual sale price 3.00 each. it went something like that

    • Lletich

Didn't want any thing from CVS this week, but decided to run in to see if any coupons would print. Coupon kiosk printed 6 coupons, the the best was FREE Kotex pantiliners!

      • Kaela

I got that one too and was super excited because I didnt use the $1 off coupons for those but they were already ouyt…..I wonder how that works will they give us a raincheck for their cvs coupon?

      • I got this too, in my store they were 1.49 yet the coupoon took off the max value of 1.77, so a little overage…hey every bit counts, right?

    • Sesb

In my area, Barber's milk (1 gal) is on sale for 3.89 with 1 ECB back with a limit of 2.  Didn't see it listed above, so maybe it is regional.

    • Longhorn469

Why does it say that some of the coupons are in a certain paper and the coupon is not there….I am so confused!!!!!

      • Longhorn469

For instance….it says there was a coupon for a certain toothpaste in RP but none of my papers has it in there

        • Kaela

I saw some other people in the Carolinas area saying there didnt include the Colgatre coupons….Some are just regional is what everyone says. Like my local paper didnt have the p & g insert….i was disappointed lol. If its something that I REALLY want I usally will go to couponsthingsbydede.com and order the coupon. Good luck!

        • Karihuffstetler

Coupons are regional….. All papers do not get the same coupons.

          • Longhorn469

that's what I started thinking:) pretty new at this….thank you!!!!!

      • EB

Coupons can be very different from paper to paper. I live in Virginia and get 3 papers: my local one, one from Richmond, and the Washington Post. Not only will all 3 have different coupons, but the values are often significantly different (ie, all might have a skippy coupon but one will be for 50 cents, one for 75 cents, and one for $1 off 2).  The smaller local paper often has only a fraction of the variety of the ones from the larger market.

    • Summer

How do I tell how many ECB I have in my account? I am signed up online…but there are so many different balances, I am not sure which I would use for my next purchase!

      • Phatpatswife

They print on the bottom of your receipt for participating products. You have to keep those coupons and bring them with you next time.

    • Aranacoleman

Am I understanding this right??  My CVS would not let me use 2 B1G1 on Skinny Cow.  The clerk said I would have to pay for one and then get one free.  I told her that I could give her 2 B1G1 and it would make both free. She called manager and I was told the same thing.  What is CVS policy on B1G1?

      • Birgit Gilbert

ok, I might be wrong but bogo means you buy one and you get one, not give two coupons and get two free at any store. Now you can use a bogo coupon on a bogo sale and get them both free or you can use a bogo coupon and a cent or dollar off coupon. hth

      • Chris

That's right – you can only use one BOGO Q if you're only buying 2.  What I've thought about doing is using 2 Qs in 2 transactions.

1st tran:  Buy 2 use 1 BOGO Q and pay for the one then get the ECB.
2nd tran:  Buy 2 use 1 BOGO Q and use the ECB from the first tran.
End result – get 4 for the price of 1.

        • Sharris1659

I have done that up to the limit you're allowed.  You can't do it at Walgreens because their policy won't allow you to use an RR from a product to purchase another one like it.  If there is a limit of one ECB reward for a certain item, you can purchase others and use the B1G1, but your ECB will only print on the first one.

          • Sharris1659

I should have added that there are times you are limited to the amount of items purchased in any one transaction, so your B1G1's would be limited by that, as well.

      • Lesli

You can't use 2 manufacter bogo cuopons to get them free.  If they had a bogo sale, you could use one to make them both free.  Some places like Publix allows a Publix bogo coupon along with a manufacter bogo coupon to get both free.

      • Imashopaholic

Same thing happened to me and they made me feel like a criminal for even trying to do it.  The manager even said “they changed the policy so people couldn't take advantage of things”.  I asked for a copy of the “changed policy” and she stumbled over herself and said they didn't have a copy of it but she knew it was changed because the computer wouldn't take the second coupon.  Sheesh!

      • Gatorginger

She is correct, in order to use both bogo coupons you would have to get four and pay for two

      • thequeenaunt

I had 1 BOGO and one $1.00 off coupon in same insert so I got 2 used both coupons and got a .99 ECB?

      • Sharris1659

Whenever you have one of CVS's “free” deals, as with the Skinny Cow, you actually do pay for the item and you get a like amount back in an ECB.  I bought the Skinny Cow last night with the BlGI, paid the $.99 sale price, got credit for the regular price of $1.19 from my B1G1, then got the $.99 ECB back.  I hope this explains it.

        • dd28001

I just left a CVS on Albemarle Rd, Charlotte and they would not let me use my coupon for the skinny cow nor let me use 2 coupons for the Wisk. And I quote, “CVS does not allow customers to double dip, you can not use a coupon on a free product”. I politely told them to keep those two items and the rest of the stuff in my basket. Removed my coupons from her grip and went a few miles down the road and met smarter and more friendly people in another CVS, Got my great deals, however, no gillette profusion razors anywhere.

          • Chris

Amazing how many store employees not only don't know how coupons really work (and that the store deals are on top of Qs redeemed) but feel like you're taking money straight from their pocket if you use coupons.  Just amazes me every time this happens to someone (myself included).

      • If a STORE had a BOGO sale on a product and you have a manufacturer BOGO coupon, you would get both for free.

    • Aria

There is a “pampers free extras-buy 6 get jumbo pack free” written on the bottom of my reciept. and I already bought 3 of them today.
But I don't know what it means.
And my year to date saving is $644.00 since April. Thank you Jenny.

      • Amber

I had that on my receipt for huggies 2 wks ago. After I purchased 6 jumbo packs a coupon printed out like the ecb's for a free jumbo pack up to 11.99 I was also able to use the free one with my 3 off 15 baby items so that was awesome!

        • Aria

Thank you Amber. Is it a month long deal?

    • Jenny

Went to CVS yesterday to get Dawn dishwashing liquid. I have $.50/1 coupon, only purchased four. Is there a limit of how many I can buy per visit? I

      • Sharris1659

I believe the coupon itself limits each transaction to four bottles.  Rite Aid actually has them two cents cheaper than CVS — not worth a trip to Rite Aid over CVS, but thought I'd mention it.

    • Jenny

Someone also said that Gatorade are 5 cents at CVS, with coupon,  is that true?

      • Jas

        what coupon?

    • Went to CVS this morning. They have ladies Dove deodorant on sale for $3.00 and a couple of B1G1 Men's deodorant wrapped together for the price of 1. If you got the “Buy  Women's Dove get the Men's Dove deodorant for free” they are $1.00 each.

      • Terranalexander

        Is the men's deoderant a 2 pack?

        • They had a couple of men's deodorants wrapped together marked B1G1 on the plastic wrap at my CVS.

      • jillski

Where did you get the coupon buy women's and get men's free?

    • CouponHappy

Had a great 1st shopping experience at CVS on Sunday!! I got $91.96 worth of products for $36.36, I still have $5 ECB to use towards my next purchase and I got a $10 gas card!! :)

    • anonymous

Is there a limit of 1 gas card promotion deal each week?

    • Christy7147

I went to CVS yesterday..$48 dollars before Q's and ECB.  I paid $2.50 and got $8 ECB back.  Woot Woot!

      • Eae1959

I've been getting the $10 off 50 out of the machine lately, would have been a huge deal for you if you had one of those…Sometimes its tough to find $50 worth without several bogo.Very impressive deals for you….Very Good..

    • katiedaisy

was just wondering about the $2 Axe coupon that is listed above that prints out at the CVS coupon center. I went and unfortunately it did not print out and the employees knew nothing about it so any feedback would be appreciated!

      • danielle

the coupons the machine prints out are random.  My mom and I go in together, I get some that she doesn't get.

      • Janell

I've decided a lot of the coupons are based on prior purchases also.  Because I got one the other day for Kotex panty liners I asked my MIL and SIL which neither purchase products like that and neither of them got the coupon.

        • ireneY

That could explain why I didn't get the Kotex Q. I've been buying Depends and Bengay for my dad. The CVS system probably thinks I'm in menopause!!

    • alkrauss

The Revlon deal was even sweeter for me! The magic coupon machine gave me a $3 off Revlon coupon and $3 off a $10 cosmetics coupon. Got 3 lip glosses @5.79 each, used two $1 off coupons (only got two papers that week, darn!), the two CVS coupons @ $3 each and got $9 in ECBs. Pre-coupon total was 17.37 and after coupons and ECBs I spent $2.37! That's only $.79 per gloss. So excited :) Bought a lot more but that was my favorite deal.

    • Peggy

The IP Centrum Silver coupon is only for 150 count + so it won't work for the sale on the 100 – 110 count.

    • Aranacoleman

Thanks for all the answers on B1G1.  Now I understand!!

    • Ashley P

I went to CVS on my lunch today and picked up some AXE products for the hubby.  They had the deodorant wrapped with body spray for the price of 4.49 and the shower gel for 4.49.  Got 2 deodorants w/ body spray and 2 shower gels, used B1G1 free coupons on each, paid only 1.21 out of pocket and got $3 ECB.  Good deal?

      • Jas

did you use ecb to only pay that price? it sounds like a great deal to me!

        • Ashley P

I did use 8.99 in ECBs.  Essentially I had to pay tax on all the items out of pocket.  Seemed like a good deal to me too especially since I got the deodorant that came with a free body spray each!  I am a new couponer and I was satisfied with my transaction.  Haha.

      • Portraitsbytamika

I think it is.  I got the same exact deal and one of my AXE shower gels had 50% more! They run over $3 each separately right?  Plus some of the body wash gels had a 2 oz freebie attached.

    • Kelli

How often do sunday papers have coupon booklets? And what are the names for the coupon savers? P & G and…….

      • Chris

It varies but usually there is a Red Plum (RP) and SmartSource (SS).  Every once in a while there is a P&G or more than one of the regular.  On holiday weekends there are usually no Qs.  Keep an eye on Southern Savers main page and Jenny lets everyone know what's coming up and what will most likely be in most inserts (although there are obviously variations).  HTH

    • C_hakes

Has anyone seen a $3 cpn off of Tide Powder only?  The manager at my CVS told me there was one in the AJC this past Sunday (7-31)

      • Elizabeth

I have a $2 tide or gain powder only from 2 weeks ago, but haven't seen from 7/31

        • Chris

I just went through the inserts I have from the AJC for 7/31 and there is only one Tide detergent Q in the P&G insert for $1/1.

    • Tarac98

I love all of the great deals at CVS, but so many people have numerous extra care cards and buy up all the deals and my store never restocks!!! :( By the time I get to the store, there is nothing left…I just wish people weren't so greedy!!!!

    • NewMommy2

Can I use the BOGO Axe coupon and a $2.50/2 Axe Shower Gels coupon in the same transaction???

      • Val

Not if you're buying only 2 items. The bogo attaches to the free item so, you can't use the $2.50 on the one you're buying and the item you're getting for free with the bogo q. That's 2 qs on one item. If you had just a $2.50/1 q that would be acceptable.

        • Chris

Or she could use both Qs and buy 3 items so one would be free and the other two would be covered by the $2.50/2 Q.  If they're on clearance or a really good deal it could be worth it.

    • CVS in Richmond had St Ives 21oz Body Wash on Clearance for $1.00!!!!!!!!!! With my coupons I got it for 25 cents! I am so happy right now!

    • Kmadonna

I appreciate the rain checks CVS hands out, but the products never seem to come in before the coupons expire.  Currently I have a rain check for Ben Gay, Zyrtec, Motrin and Gillette Soleil razors. This can be frustrating for consumers!

      • Usually identical (or better) coupons will come along when the others expire. Another thing is that many CVS stores will take the expired coupon with the raincheck. It doesn't hurt to check. :-)

      • Amber

Also, try speaking to the manager. My husband called about the zyrtec money maker theday before our q expired. The managerexplained he was sorry for the shortage and he would honor our expired q when they could restock.

        • Mine was honored for this very deal. That's how I learned that they will sometimes honor expired coupons for items that have been out of stock for awhile.

      • Phatpatswife

This is honestly an issue because of that extreme couponing show. As a cvs employee for two years now I have seen our regular couponers come in every week getting there allotted deals for the week. Then there are the people that come in and have their husband, daughter, son and niece all having seperate cards. This drives me nuts because I know what they are doing but at the store level we can't do anything about it.
And people weren't doing this before that show started, at least not in my store. Now they are greedy and trying to get all they can with no regard for the next customer. This is exactly why you aren't getting your items and they aren't coming in for weeks. We still haven't been able to order the Hershey Air Delights because not only are the warehouses wiped out but also the manufacturer. We haven't had them since the week those coupons came out. We order them every week and every week they never come.
It's so frustrating because when customers get those little slips to call and rate our store they give us bad reviews because of the products being out of stock but it's out of our hands. And then those reviews generate a report once a month that rates our store. Anything below a 90% I think is unsatisfactory and the passed two months we've been at about 80%. We still give the best customer services we've always given but can't do anything about this influx of dishonesty that's affect the store stock. :(

        • guest

agreed !!! i work for cvs also i had one lady with a keyring of cvs cards with each persons name written on them so she wouldnt get them confused with which extra care q she had

    • our CVS printed out coupons today for $2 off Store Brand Chips. Sign showed the chips were 2 for $4 (which would be $2 each) but to make sure they didn't ring up at higher price, I scanned them (the sour cream & onion flavor ones) and they rang up $1.25. I bought milk $2.99, chips $1.25 and 2 skinny cow candy bars. Used $3 ECB, $2 chip coupon and B1G1 candy coupon. OOP $0.23 and got a $1 and a $0.99 ECB for next time!  nice!

    • Broncocren

Our local CVS has a very nice manager. However, he is a man. When I tried to use 2 of my 1.00 off Revlon (or any Revlon color product) on two lipsticks, his computer beeped. He said that my coupon wasn't for the right item. I explained the “ANY color product” also is meant for lipstick. He smiled and refused to budge. Said that “color” is probably a new line of Revlon! What can I do to get satisfaction for the loss of my 2 coupons?

      • Durhamresident

Hmm, tricky. I'd try to bring it up near a female employee… although she might not feel comfortable correcting her boss, there's always the possibility he might ask her what she thought “color” meant. :)

        • Stacyannw

it beeped for me with the nail polish also but i went prepared with the whole page the coupon was no and it showed the nail polish, so they pushed them through

          • Gen

I  had that problem at rite aid last week and just couldnt get them to take my coupon… Which stunk cause I had a 2.00 off revlon nail polish coupon as well and I missed the deal. So sad…

      • NewMommy2

I had the same issue w/ my 2 Revlon coupons when getting the lipstick, Its says “or ANY COLOR COSMETIC” so the cashier just manually punched it in!

      • syndilew

This q beeps on everything.  I think that it is too broad a q and that is why it doesn't register.  I even have the nail polish ones for Revlon beep for nail polish.  Maybe Revlon did this to ensure that the cashier actually looked to make sure that you had that product. HTH

    • Durhamresident

Has anyone had trouble w/ the Suave deal? ($3 ECB w/ $10 purchase) At my CVS in Chapel Hill, the body washes weren't counting, although they were in the sales ad & marked as part of the promotion on the shelf. I spoke w/ the manager, & she manually printed the ECB for me, but said “next time, you'll have to return the items & buy something else to make it count. Corporate sends us the sales, & if the computer isn't set up to handle it, it just won't do it.” So basically, she admitted it was wrong, said it couldn't be changed, yet printed the ECB for me. I've been shopping  at this CVS ever since I started seriously couponing, & have never had any trouble w/ them. It was just odd.

      • TBrown

I did.  At a store in Columbia, SC.  The body washes did not come up for the ECB.  They had to manually issue mine. She couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.  It rang up for the advertised price, the body wash was exactly the one in the picture and she checked the shelf and the product was marked with the ECB sign.  She didn't seem to have a problem with manually issuing it.

        • Durhamresident

Thanks for your response. She issued it manually, but basically wouldn't admit that this was false advertising since most people aren't going to bother or won't figure out the problem.

    • Cvaughn520

FYI the $3 off $10 cosmetics that printed from Kiosk worked on my Clean & Care face wash! I wasn't sure, thought I give it a shot & it worked! I got the free Kotex pantyliner, but of course they were out

      • Terranalexander

My CVS said they would put $1.77 toward any other brand/product of that type

    • Newbie

I can't find the Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste coupon in the SS 7/31 book…..  Anyone else find it??

      • Terranalexander

I think it was from a fews weeks back.  It expired on 7/31…the first day of the sale this week.

        • Kaela

No there were some .75 and .50 qs that expired on 7/31 but there were new ones issued from the 7/31 insert for 1.50 off that don't expire until sometime in August- I believe Ive already used mine or I would look for you. Hope this helps!

    • Chris

Question for the CVS pros:  If I bought something a few days ago but didn't realize I had a Q can I take my receipt and the Q back to the store and get them to take the Q?  Publix and Target have done this for me previously but wasn't sure about CVS.  Any info would be appreciated!

      • carrie

Yes, I have done this before.

      • Phatpatswife

ymmv. I would call the store first and ask. Some managers will do it and some won't.

      • NewMommy2

They've done it for me before! It wouldn't hurt to ask

    • Amanda

Hello I have recently began couponing.  I have saved so much and am totally addicted to it!  The other week I seen a women and a man go through the store and get every renu contact solution, and every other ECB item that the store had.  My question is how is this possible when the ad states there is a limit of 1 per houshold with card.  She must have had 8 of each item.  All I wanted was one item!  Can someone please explain this to me because it must be a every week thing at this certain store! Thanks

      • Chris

I'd bet they have more than one card between the two of them.

        • Amanda

So they would have like 8 or more cards together!  They would be breaking the policy right?  It just made me mad because I just needed one of each item and the sale just started.

          • Dtcox

yes and they say this is going to stop in v a

            • carrie

I hope this stops everywhere  it's gotten to the point where it'
s not even worth my time to stop at CVS because they are out of EVERYTHING and even when I DO get rainchechecks it takes weeks upon weeks for the item to be in stock again.  Very frustrating!

            • Surfergirl8989

Yeah I started dealing with this too. My store opens on sunday at 12:00 so I make sure im sitting in the parking lot at 11:55 so I can be first through the door. I only have one card and only get one of everything I want…its worked so far havent had to get anymore rainchecks.

      • I would have spoke up and pointed this out to the manager and the person checking them out should not have allowed this either.

    • Angchick

Hello, I am new to CVS couponing. I want to make sure I am understanding correctly. It is okay to buy all the deals that would give you extra care bucks back in one transaction bc they will all print on the one reciept or do you have to do them in their own individual transaction? TIA!!

      • Dtcox

yes they will print all on one ticket but watch your reciept and make sure you get them all

      • Jessmender

Yes, you can do them all in 1 transaction, but make sure that that is the best way to do it to spend the least oop (out of pocket).  See Jenny's scenario above.

    • Sharris1659

Will someone please post again the address to which to send expired coupons for military use?   I have a shoebox almost full — especially after those expiring 7/31!  Thank you.

      • Laurel

There are a couple different places, but I send mine to Coups for Troops b/c they don't require you to sort your coupons or donate additional $ – just clip the coupons and stick them in an envelope!  The address is P.O. Box 147, Winnabow NC 28479.

        • Meldsilva1

I've never heard of this. How does this benefit them?

          • Shintalmo

Commissary's will take coupons a month after they expire!

            • Anda

I thought they took them six months after they expired?  If so, I need to go through my envelope.

            • Barbe

It is 6 months after expiration date.

    • Cat Phillips

I took the P&G Coupon for the Free Satin Care Shave Gel WYB Olay Body Wash to CVS and my store here said since they didn't carry Satin Care, they would substitute Skintimate shave gel for it!  Might want to check that option out too!

    • Sandra61

Can I print coupons that were in this past Sunday's paper?  Looking for the razor coupon for Fusion Proguide by Gilette.

      • Val

Coupons in papers are available online from time to time, but the Gillette coupon is a P&G coupon and you can only get those from the newspaper inserts. You could always try a coupon clipping service or ebay.

      • Many stores sell the Sunday paper all week long!

    • Stephanie

I have a question for all the CVS vets out there….
I had gone to cvs and got something that I got an ecb for, came home and it was broken.  I sent my husband to exchange (big mistake) and they didn't have any more and he did not get a raincheck.  My question would be if the ecb would still be valid or not? Thanks.

      • Val

I believe it would still be valid, but if you returned the product and got your money back you shouldn't use the ECB.

        • Stephanie

Yes totally agree, but I did end up going to another CVS and bought the same product so of course no ecb for that one, I just wanted to make sure I could still use the first one. Thanks Val, I am still quite new at this..

          • Carra

I don't see any problem doing that since you did ultimately buy the product that generated the ECB.  I say try it and, if it doesn't work, have your receipts ready and explain the situation the the manager.  I bet they would be willing to print a new ECB.

    • Melissacope

Does anyone know if the CVS in Denver (Hwy 150 & Hwy 16) takes expired EB's?

    • Desiree Vorel

Just a note on the Band-Aid/Neosporin deal: none of those items were $2.89 at my store in Upstate South Carolina.  The CVS brand bandages were $2.89, but the Band-Aid brand started at $4.29, I believe.

    • Desiree Vorel

Both stores I went to today were out of the Bic Soleil razors.  If I get a raincheck, will the ECB print out when I purchase the razor in the future?

      • Kaela

The cashier has to manually do it, but yes you will get it with the raincheck.

      • Szivigrrl

I haven't seen the Bic Soleil Shimmer starter kit since the last promo. Got a raincheck on 7/14 and every CVS near me (yep, been to 'em all) is out of them still. STILL. You'd think they'd give the stores more than a few. I'm beginning to think they don't exist, kind of like the department store version of The Loch Ness Monster. Has anyone in the Augusta are found any?

      • Gatorginger

yes that is what is so great about cvs the raincheck will still give you the ecbs even if you purchase it two weeks or more after the sale, got love it

    • Johnnyj1061

Just thought I'd give an update. I posted a couple days ago about buying the huggies jeans diapers and being excited about a $2 q inside but then realized it expired 7 months ago on 12/31/2010…..well somene told me to write the company- i emailed them and guess what—Im getting coupons in the mail! Ive had prpoblems with items before and never knew I could contact the company Im super excited now because just yesterday I realized I had purchased baby gerber food for my son at Big Lots- its teh cheaest place in my town- that had expired on April 23……so Im thinking gerber will do the same! Thanks.

      • Johnnyj1061

        the cheapest*

      • A lot of times even if you don't have a problem with a product and just tell the company how much you like their product, they will send coupons. Dial bar soap is the only one I can use and I called and told them how much I use and they sent me some coupons for the soap =)

      • Melissa

I had the same Q in the pack of jean diapers that I bought.  I wrote an email to complain too, but I haven't gotten a reply back yet.  Hope I get coupons too :)

      • Jedawh84

Gerber will hook you up.  I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago and I ended up getting about $15 in free products

    • Aroberts14

If I buy $25 in product, $15 of it being Maybelline, could I get $5 ecb off $15 maybelline, use 2-$1 off coupns for maybelline, $3 off any cosmetic purchase of $10 or more, $5 off purchase of $25 or more plus use my other ecb? Sorry if I didn't explain this well but I was gonna try to use all of these coupons later today.

      • You sure can! The “$3 off $10 Cosmetics” coupon is just that: a CVS coupon for a certain amount off *cosmetics*. The $5 off $25 coupon is different. It applies to your entire purchase, and only is not able to be combined with other “entire purchase” coupons.

        • EB

My CVS would not allow me to combine a $5 off $20 facial care coupon with a $10/$50 last week. They said it was no longer allowed and I even had $70 worth of items – I had to break  out the facial care items and do it in a separate order.

          • I guess it's one of those YMMV type deals. Just last week I combined a $4 off $20 in Groceries coupon with a $4 off $20 purchase coupon. I did it at one of less “coupon friendly” stores, and they didn't give it a second glance. It's no different than combining  one of the “$/$$ purchase” coupons with any other CVS coupon, like the $2 off any Revlon, or $3 off Nuance products coupon. These are not “total purchase” coupons. They require certain products to be purchased, and then they take the amount off from that. That's how I understand it, anyway… And I haven't had any trouble yet.

        • Mcleodsc

I also tried to use the 3/10 cosmetic cpn and  a cpn I think was for 5/20 Mabeline. I had to choose to use one or the other -they would not take both. Next time I will break things up into seperate orders.

    • Joby20

Did a trip @3b388628af5938ea5d9629bf5900cd9c:disqus t CVS today: I got the Gillete Razor, 2 axe body wash, colgate toothpaste, dawn dish detergent, Free milk, skinny cow chocolate candy bar all for $7.57 and ended up getting $5 extra buck rewards so basically just paid $2.57 for everything….thank you for this website, I think I'll be able to shop wisely now!!!

    • Angchick

So could you tell me if I did this transaction, would this be worth it or the best way.
I was going to buy the gillete proglide- 9.99- 4q= 5.99, the bic soleil 5.99- 3q= 2.99, two axe shower gel with 2 b1g1 coupons=8.98, and then the skinny cow with bogo q. Total transaction would be 18.95 but I would get back 11.99 in ecbs.

      Then I would purchase pringles 4/6 and use 2 1.00 off of 2= 4 dollars for 4, gillete body wash 3.49- 2q= 1.49, dawn dish soap 2 of them for 1.98 – two. 50 coupons= .90, pampers diapers 8.99- 2q=6.99. Total of 13.38- the 11.99 ecb oop I would pay 1.39 a d get 1 ecb back from the diapers.

Total out of pocket for all that would be roughly 20 bucks and tax. Is that a great deal or could it be done better.

      • Angchick

Darn phone, I would get 4 axe shower and use 2 bogo coupons

      • NewMommy2

Yeah do 4 axe shower gel, and use 2 bogo coupons, and you'll get $3 ECB for purchasing 3

    • Ladygabz

Hey has anyone tried the Dove Shampoo and treatment Gas Card deal, if so can you explain how you did it, I know there problems with finding treaments and many people have been buying hairspray to make it work. I not so sure, so if you could help I would like that alot.

      • Ask Your Cashier…

I couldn't find treatment at my CVS.  The cashier told me to buy a conditioner and a shampoo. The coupon worked…

    • NewMommy2

I was happy with my CVS trip yesterday. My husband and I drink Red-bull all the time, so I always use my ECB to purchase it bc it's so expensive and they never have coupons for it! So I got 6 packs of Red bull, 1 gallon of milk, 2 revlon lipsticks, and 2 covergirl eyeliners. To my surprise the red bull was on sale!! I used $10 off $50, (2) $1 Revlon, $3 off any Revlon cosmetic purchase, (2) $1 covergirl, $1 off milk. and $10 ECB. Total oop $34.64, Saved over $50 and got $7 ECB for future purchase

    • Jule

Does anyone if I can use a B1G1 coupon along with (2) $1/1???

      • Barbe

I think you would only be able to use one of the $1/1 with the B1G1.

How did you get more than one $3 off cosmetics? The machine seems to only give me one of the “special” ones for the week.

        • amanda

not sure. it was 2 different locations and i got one sunday and one today. i was surprised too. i'm not a huge makeup person, but it was nice to be able to stock up on the couple of items that i do use though.

    • guest

      • Lizz

Jealous of the milk deal! I got some a few weeks back like that, but not for a while it seems,. . :( and milk is 3.90 at publix, are they crazy!? haha

        • Jessica

Milk is over $6 at Winn Dixie. That's crazy!

    • coupon gilr

For Sundown Vitamins, would this work?  Buy total of 4 (B1G1free) which would be about $11.  Use $3 off 10 vitamins store coupon and then use (2) $3 off 2 coupons leaving the total around $2? The B1G1 is confusing me this week for some reason :)

    • Kzapata

I'm trying to find the zip code for the Upromise ecoupon on the BIC soleil. Any one know what it is?

GREAT CVS run this morning!!!!  The coupon machine printed out another $3 off $10 cosmetics (used one earlier in the week), so here's what I did:  2 Revlon lipsticks, 1 Huggies Jeans diapers, 2 CVS brand cheese balls:  used $5/$25 Q (emailed), $3 cosmetics Q, 2 $1 off Revlon, 2 $2 CVS snacks Q (from machine), $4 CVS Q off Huggies jeans diapers, $2 Huggies diapers…$6.76 total (used $6 ECBS), got back $6 ECBS…so paid only 76 cents for everything!!

Why do you have to do seperate trasactions?

I they are out of the Proglide razors–look for the sets on the cosmetic aisle.  they were 10.99 at my store but the coupon works for $4.00 and you get the ecbs, and there are three trail size products.  I got it because they have been out all week and I didn't want to wait on a raincheck–so 1.99 wasn't bad!

Did I miss something? I've looked back, but can't figure out why this site hasn't been updated in so long…
