    • Celtfan82

      This week is horrible!

    • Dtcox

well jenny may take a break from cvs next week . and save my xb  who knows well see thank you

    • Publix Chick

I am going to sit this one out, I think. I have a healthy stockpile of hair care, so I'll leave those deals to people who need them…maybe I'll sleep in this Sunday. =-)

    • Kelly

Man, nothing I want for this weeks ad, which is a bummer.  I was emailed a $5 off any purchase of $25 or more at CVS to be used by Sunday.

      • mommyof1

i got one last week and luckily was able to use it (on some raincheck itmes) those rainchecks do come in handy when there is a “skip week” like this one

    • Tennille

Diapers will be about all I'm getting from CVS this week! Bummer!! And to think I waited most of the day for this post! lol!

    • Bamabobbie

The only thing I see is the Aussie and Herbal Essence shampoo that I can use my coupons for free and get the $1.00 ecb.  Also will check out my Schick Hydro rain checks to see if this is a better deal.  Thanks Jenny.

    • Asteff

Question – I got a $3 off baby products from the coupon machine last week. Can I use that along with a manu q and also use the $5 off $25 that was emailed to me? That would kind of be two store coupons… or not??? I'm not sure. Thanks!

      • Amy

I would like to know this too!  I was debating how that worked!

        • morning214_2002

Last Sunday I was able to use all of these CVS coupons: $5/25 purchase, $3/15 baby and $4 off Huggies jean diapers all without a problem. Since you are able to use unlimited ECB then it's not a problem cause that's what the $3/15 is counted as and I think that's how the $5/25 is too. Then I used my man coupons on top of my CVS store coupons.

      • MomOf4

You should be able to do this.  Hand over the $5 first, then the rest of the Q's.  The baby Q is for that specific category only.  I did this last week with the $3 off make up and a $5 off total and it worked fine.

      • Kacy52

You can use the $3 off baby products & stack a manu q with that. The $5 off $25 most likely says it cannot be used on sale products. Not sure if the products you are buying are on sale. If they are not on sale, I think you can use that q as well. HTH

        • Jenney

$5 off $25 can be used on any product as long as total reaches $25. 20% off coupon is ususally not good on sale item.

      • monica1

I got and used the following magic coupon machine coupons all in the same transaction…$5/$25, $3/15 baby purchase, $4.00 off huggies jeans, free huggies jumbo pack (for buying 6 packs of huggies- which were pure & natural on clearance for $2.50 and had $2 and $2.50 coupons making them free already so a nice surprise to get a free pack wyb 6 packs). No beeps no problems!

      • Guest

I always thought you could use the 5 off 25 or other “dollar off dollar” coupons with specific “$ off this much in specific items,” but either CVS has changed their policy, or they never let you stack these. I tried last week with a 10 off 50 and a 5 off 15 healthcare that had printed at the machine, and they beeped.  The cashier said that you can only use one “$ off $” coupon per transaction, even if one of them is for specific items.  I don't think it matters whether they're on sale or not.  The machine just reads the total dollar amount.  Good luck!

        • Dtcox

it took mine last week 5.00 off 25.00 and 3.00 off 10.00 cosm. purchase i had no trouble and i had coupons too

      • Annaforcoupons

I've done this before….. not really two store coupons since the one is something specific and the other is total purchase

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

“Total purchase” Q is technically different from $3 off baby products which is item specific. $3 Off baby prod. is no different from if it said $3 Off Johnson baby oil. On that ground, it an be used along the line of any other store printed Q from the machine.

Someone here had argued that they can not be combined because the $ off “total” says “not valid with any other $ Off total Q.” However, $3 off baby product is not “other $ off total.”

      • Asteff

Thanks, everyone – you guys are a big help!! If this works, this will be a great deal for me! :)

    • Kassie

What a stinky week…and to think I have been refreshing all day haha

    • Rosemary

Anyone else use their Pampers coupons this week?! Oh well. I will go get my 3ECB this week. It will be the same price I paid this week.

    • raz

What's a good price per magazine to purchase an All You subscription for?

      • Amber

On the right side of this page, under the blue sunday ad tab and best deals this week, click on catagories. Then click on All You coupons. Jenny has a post each month that shows the coupons offered in the magazine, it has a link to a fundraising subscription that is $25 for 30 issues. Thats the best I've seen and the profits go to food banks! HTH

      • syndilew

I was able to get a subscription for $30 for 36 issues from my son's school and it went towards fundraising.  You might want to check that out if you have children.  HTH

    • Bkny63

      Wow…not a single acorn!  That's a shame. LOL!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Filipo Olive Oil 17 oz for 3.99 (-$1 Q possibly)?

    • Kassie

Does CVS accept Walgreens coupons (like from their monthly coupon booklet) ?

      • cvslady

Pretty sure their policy is to not accept competitor coupons.

        • Kassie

          Thank you! :)

    • Rowdy117

Got a 5off30 which would make the transactions worth doing.  However I'm not coming up with anywhere near $37.44 for the value of the items.  2 Aussie's is $10 and 5 Doves is $15.  That's only $25.  Am I missing something?

      • Melissa

Jenny does not say you get the $10 Gas card in that deal idea. Those are just ECB transactions.

        • Rowdy117

I'm not trying to do the gas card deal.  I'm trying to buy $30 of product for cheap OOP.  Her two transactions in the “scenario idea” state that the total value of items purchased is $37.44.  I don't see how the math gets you to that high of a number.

      • Wagner2011

I don't see anywhere where it says $37 dollars?? 2 Aussies is $4.96- not $10- & $15 for dove. It comes up to $19.96……………………?? Not $37…

    • I just paid $21.87 for an iPaad 2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, http://to.ly/aT8h

    • Amber

I used to get TONS of those $5 off $25 or $4 off $20 or $5 off 30 coupons from CVS via email, but lately… (I noticed this after they started doing the gas card deals)… I get NOTHING.  No emails with coupons at all.  No % off coupons either.

Is it just me?  Anyone else notice this?  I have lately been getting the $10 off $50 printables at the coupon machine and on my receipts, but nothing via email.

      • Mari

Same here!! I used to get them all the time….nothing lately. I have been boycotting CVS because of that. :)

      • Dtcox

i hadnt got any in a long time last week got two 5.00 off 25.00 got a email again today for another one 5.00 off 25.00 maybe cause its the first of the month

      • Saverqueen21

I actually just got a $5 of $25 Today for the first time in months! Take a look.. hopefully you go one too :)

      • Carrieluvsgreg

I am on a streak right now when every time I go in the store I get a $3 off $15.  Seriously, I am in the store (well, one of 3 stores) at least 3 times per week, and have gotten one of those for the past 2 or three weeks straight.  I have actually not even gotten to use them all.

        • I went a long time without getting any… and now I'm on a streak too. Sometimes I will get TWO $4 of $20 coupons in one sitting. I'm not sure why, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I seriously have like 4 of those stashed away because I also use the $5 0ff $20 and the $5 off $25 that they send me in my email. I know my streak won't last, though. There honestly doesn't seem to be ANY rhyme or reason to it.

          • Zee

I've only been doing cvs for baout 2 months, but I literally get one every week since I started

        • Neet

Did you know that you can use the coupons that come out of the machine at Harris Teeter also? The ones for $'s off your purchase.

      • mommyof1

I have come to realize that i will get more the less often i shop.. at least it seems that way now that i will skip a week here and there..

      • Megan

I have gotten nothing in my e-mail either.  I had been getting them regularly before the gas card promotion also.  Maybe once the promo is over, we'll get them back.

      • In addition to checking your email and scanning your card, be sure to check you actual CVS account on their website. They have additional $/$$ coupons on there. I had a $4 off $20 available to print or send to card. (I chose to print just because I know that some other people were having trouble with theirs.)

        • Zee

I did too! I recived no email about it, just happened to check my ecb account

      • Ms Caseylynn

I have received  2 $5 off $25 in the past two weeks.  I would call the CVS customer care number and just ask if everything is OK with your email and how they distribute the coupons.  Plus, if you call they will send you a survey that will give you a coupon if completed.

        • Lynnhelms

how do you get your coupons for 5 off 25?  by email?

      • Mandyward67

I used to get them about every other week and then stopped for about 2 months now! So I called and dtalked to them. They said it is based on your spending. They said nothing was wrong with my account, it is just how the computer figures things out. So I think they were basically saying that I shop so much that they don't need to send me any!

        • Zee

after your next payout of beauty rewards and quarterly spending, get a new one

        • Anderson Julene

There might be something to that. I only spend about 20.00 a month in cvs and this past week I got (2)  4.00 off 20.00 coupons in snail mail (expires august 14). And I got 4.00 off of 20.00 in my email box. I printed 2. Now I have to see if I can use these on some good deals. It is a way to entice me back to the store. It sure can't be a reward for how much I am spending there weekly.

      • Zee

after your next payout of beauty rewards and quarterly spending, get a new one

      • Amber

You guys are great!  Thanks for all the responses!  Makes me feel less alone out there!  :)

    • mommy.luvs.savings

Just got back from my CVS and found 33 pack pampers swaddlers size 1 50% off! They ended up being $5.49 each plus my coupons! Great trip!

      • Annaforcoupons

I've found tons of those deals around- going to a different CVS and hope I find more on the shelf there!  Do you know about the promotion?  If you buy 6 packs (huggies or pampers (can't mix or match) you will get a coupon for a free pack!!  So you should get coupons for 5 free packs at your next visit!  Although I'm not sure how it will calculate you may only get one, but w/ the ECB deal next week- you'll make $2 yeah for you~

        • Brandi

I think she meant she found packs of 33-count pampers.   I haven't seen CVS carry 33 of anything. :)  I did the Huggies Pure & Natural and found 7 packs of newborns & 1's at one store and then 6 packs of newborns at another. The CRT prints about a day or two after your qualifying purchase, kind of like the beauty club. I have 2 CRTs for free Huggies jumbos! Oh and at my store the Huggies were ringing up 75% off or $2.37 per pack!

          • Angelareid821

Ok. Where are you finding huggies 75% off. I want the insider information!  :)

            • Klynn

They were not tags on the shelf at my store.  Scanned at red machine.  The huggies pure and natural newborn was $2.87 and they took my $1.50q so $1.37 a pack plus q for free pack after i bought 6.

    • Diana

Dove Shampoo, Conditioner, 12 oz, or Styler, 4-9.25 oz, $3

-$1 off Dove hair care, August All You magazine

-$1.50/2 Dove hair care, excl trial size printable

-Free Dove hair treatment WYB shampoo or conditioner, excl 20 oz, and trial size, RP 7/31How can you use the free hair treatment coupon when the sale is only on shampoo/conditoner/styler?

      • According to Dove's website there are hairsprays that are in the “therapy” treatments line.

        • jennaj81

I noticed a conditioner that was labeled a “treatment” as well and it had the correct sales tags under it.

    • Minniel0ve

alright, I am stumped on the covergirl deal.  You have to buy 2 to get the 4 ecb.  They are $7 each so $14 – 4 = $10 – $2 coupons = $8
So $4 each, not $2 each like it says above?

      Am I doing something wrong?

      • Carrieluvsgreg

that's how I'd calculate it too.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Looks like it is now fixed above

    • Sha08

Guess I'll be skipping CVS for the second week in a row…

    • amanda

cant wait to see what the mystery coupon is from the red box

      my plan for this week:

      1 lotrimin
      1 pack pampers
      1 herbal essence
      1 aussie
      total $24.44
gonna find something for 75 cents or so

      3 off lotrimin
      2 off pampers
      FREE herbal essence
      FREE aussie
      comes to 9.99 or so
      9 ECB from last week
      get back 9 ECB

      …could be worse…

    • Christy

Does anyone have any Pampers coupons they won't be using?

      • Michelle

I do. Email me your address. Micheller080584@yahoo.com

      • GAIL

Christy i have pampers and huggies a pull -ups coupons send me your address at pgk61959@yahoo.com  I'd be glad to mail them to you.

      • Eli

I also have baby product coupons if anyone needs some.  Send me an email and I'd be glad to send them to you… couponmom33712@yahoo.com

    • Shelly

I'm almost happy it's a slow CVS and Walgreens week…I'm still recovering from last weekend's shopping frenzy!!  LOL!  Think I'll be sleeping in this week…

    • Bjeanmarie11

how do I get the coupons for the cvs list I just made

      • Sofia

If they are printable, click the link and see if you can get them. If not, you either have them from an insert or you don't!

    • Feldergreen

HUGGIES DEAL? Does the $25 have to be after coupons are deducted? I was told that it is after all coupons come off…or is the deal legit b4 coupons?

      • Mandyward67

the deals are always before coupons

    • Thaygal

if a ad says wyb $10.00, do you have to pay $10.00 for the item even with a coupon?

      • Sofia

No, the $10 is before coupons (whatever the price is listed in the ad if it's on sale)

    • Sofia

I have a $5 off $25 and $12 in ECB's. If it wasn't for that I'd be skipping this week. I guess I'll stock up on vitamins and Dove body wash…

Should come to about $5 OOP, not too bad.

    • Bryarsmom

If you're like most of us, we recv'd multiple FREE product Q's this week in the mail-Shave Cream, Tampax, Aussie, Pantene-all perfect to work into your $5/25 or $5/30 deals.
      Start thinkin'  :)

    • Anyone know how much the Lysol no touch hand soap dispenser is?

      • Zee

12.99 the prices online, match the stores (i think)

      • Khjbcoupons

i purchased it when it was a lot less .. not sure exactly what the deal was.. it works great.. in  my opinion it squirts out a bit to much soap and there is no way to control how much it squirts out.. not a real big deal for me.. not a deal breaker… i would keep looking for a better price if you are not in a need it now situation…

        • Daymon

I purchased some when they have had them at I think Walgreens for I think $1.99. This was after RR and Q's. I bought extras for gifts this Xmas for my mother, mother in-law and in case our kids break theirs. So, with that said, the price could be cheaper, and will be one day again, maybe soon. I'd hold off, but it's still a decent price compared to the regular price.

          • Daymon

Related to this. I have been couponing since last November and I have NEVER seen the refill soap for the Lysol touchless system go on sale. We popped the top of our soap bottle and filled it with regular hand soap, put the cap back on put it in the dispenser and presto it works beautifully! We've used the thicker soap and it works too. Doing this is a whole lot cheaper. We bought a good supply of the smaller hand pump soaps when they were only .15 cents after sale and coupon. So, we refill our touchless dispenser for only 15 cents.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

I can not seem to pop the top on those refills. The cap just does not come off. Any technique you may have success with?

            • Daymon

My wife popped it off the first time. I think she used a flat tip screwdriver and put it under one end and pryed it up some. She then did the other side. After that it was “loosend” so it was easier the next time and I was able to pull it up with my fingers. It was hard but I got it. A screwdriver might of been the right thing to use the second time just to save my fingers. Try it out, you'll get it. If you have too, enlist some help, it's worth the savings!

            • Amber

SAME PROBLEM HERE!  Could not get the cap off without breaking it.  I got creative and drilled a hole in the top with my electric drill… then put a small funnel in the hole and fill it with default hand soap.  Hehe.  Then cover the hole with tape until the next time to refill.  I am so lame.  :)

      • Iesha2031

        I think its 12.99

    • Ls_coleman23

ill make money this week if my cvs doesnt run out of the ecb deals like they did last week.

      • LB514

How? I see nothing in the sneak peak :(

    • Tmfloves

If I have a cvs coupon $4 off a purchase of $20 and another $5 off a purchase of $25, can I use them together in the same transation?

      • Peggy

You can only use 1 but you can then do a second transaction and do the other if you can find a way to spend that much.

      • Ladarrow1318

The only way you can use both coupons…your total must be $45.

      • Daymon

Numerous times I have had a 4 off 20 and a 3 off 15 before and was able to use both at the same time when the total was only $20. I would use the 4/20 first then the total would be $16 then I would be able to use the 3/15. I never have had to have a total totaling the amount of the two coupon totals. I am not an expert, but would think you could use them both. It's worth a try. All they could say is no!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Actually No, technically speaking. Also, there are “fine” prints (though not so fine any more), states $ Off total can not be combined with anther $ Off total Q. “Combine” means in one transaction. So, even if you bring up the total to $45 in one transaction, it is still not allowed to use both in the same transaction.

That was technical. However, many times they will just scan them and let the register takes care of it.

    • Tellerhoo

Hi – I was hoping someone out there might have some extra pampers/huggies coupons they won't need.  We have 3 in diapers right now & could use all the diaper coupons available!  lol (yes……my husband & I do know how this happens!!!!)  =)

      • Bbeteag

I have plenty of coupons for Pampers and Huggies and would love to give them to someone who could use them!  I am in metro Atlanta.

        • Spa78

I could use huggies wipe and diaper qs and ampers as well. Willing to trade.

      • Mrscouture07

Something I just found out on my trip to CVS. With the Pampers deal: If you buy wipes (on sale for 2.49) and the 8.99 diapers you can use both $2 off coupons!! I did not know this but the cashier suggested we try after she saw me going through my big pile of diaper coupons. Final price $7.48 OOP ($3 ECB back)

    • Jeg

I love CVS, but was horrified to find out that they waste a lot of things that could be used to help others. My favorite cashier was literally empying shelves while I was shopping and had a huge trash bag filled with chips. They weren't out of date for another month but they wanted them gone and won't allow anything to be donated anywhere.  She asked me to call corporate and complain, she said more people need to tell them it is a BAD practice!  The flipflops that don't sell?  Thrown away!  There are people out there who can't afford shoes and these large companies are just tossing overstock.  I am planning to call corporate and I wanted to give others a chance to speak up too!

      • Phatpatswife

The sad thing is that that store imparticular is doing that. Our store marks merchandise down all the way to 90% to sell it before throwing anything away. If it's food we have to throw it away once it's a certain date close to the expiration date because if we donate it and the stuff isn't given out to needy people in a timely manner someone can then turn around and sue the company even though we didn't sell out of date items. Each manager has some leniencey on how they handle things of that nature. Our manager doesn't handle non-perishable items in that manner only food that is expiring soon.

      • Stacy

I work for Wal-Mart and they encourage us to donate our overstock to shelters and food banks. We donate foods and cloths. Very glad they do this knowing that other stores do what you say. That is such a waste.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is what so sad! America throws more food in waste than it is consumed in whole of Africa every year. Moreover, there are environmental issue involved and also will raise the prices for all of us.  This should be a knock at conscience. Please keep the pressure on corporations before this country is further wasted and destroyed

      • Maggie

Oh man…sorry to hear that. I have been volunteering at a food bank for 10 years. The past two years we have tripled the number of families we serve. They have also started to ask for personal items, so when we can two of us coupon to get what we can to help out. They should be donating those items to a shelter or Food bank. :(

    • Tlw35

Looking for pampers or huggies Q's.  Diapers and wipes.  Am helping family out with a new baby.  Any other baby item Q's also.  Thanks:)

      • LizD

what is your email? I think i have diaper and wipes qs

    • Kaela

Does anyone know if the $3 off $10 cosmetic could be used with the dove deal? I know shampoo is not technically a cosmetic and I am not trying to commit coupon fraud but I wouldnt consider it a beauty product neither and the hair stuff counts toward the beauty club $50 so Im just wondering! Thanks.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think by cosmetics they mean, lipsticks, face shadows/foundations, Mascara etc. that you will find on dedicated shelves. Shampoo is not cosmetic

        • laura

I was told with the $3/$10 cosmetics coupon that anything on the left side of the store (which was all the cosmetics as well as body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc) would work. Maybe it depends on manager/store?!

      • I asked the manager at my store about this and she said I could use it on shampoo and it worked.

        • Kaela

You used the 3/10 on the shampoo?

      • Jennanne0214

My $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon expired on 8/04. Will some stores still accept it after the expiration date if it's within a few days?

      • jennaj81

I used mine on the Axe deal with no problems. I don't think it would be fraud since it is a store coupon and the register takes it without “beeping”. The manager was who checked me out and he didn't even question it.

    • Cluckie

My CVS allows you to shop Saturday night @ 9:00pm for  Sunday's Ad.  My question is can you still get deals that are in the previous Ad (items that are supposed to end that night) and deals that are supposed to start the next day all in one transaction?  I've got a coupon that I would like to use and an item from this week would help me get to the $ amount needed.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Yes, have done it million times

      • Kaela

Yes you can do that. At my store the sale starts at 6 on Saturday night and starting at that time the new weeks deals begin to ring up AND still the previous weeks as well—sometimes 2 products will be on sale in both weeks so be sure to get the one your wanting–Hope this helps.

        • Cluckie

Thanks for the answer!  I like to go in with a plan!

          • Kaela

Your Welcome. I like going in with a plan too and things just go so much smoother so long as they have everything on your list. Good luck!

        • Lletich

Mine will only start at midnight and EBCs won't start printing until 3 a.m. The manager told me this when I asked.

          • Lletich

            this is in KY

    • Shennasface

Has anyone ever tried giving the $5 off $25 Purchase to another card holder? Can it work?

      • Sandy

No, it's tied to your card.

        • Shennasface

          Great thanks so much!

      • Patty

I just used one from someone else. It was $4 off of $20.  It didn't work and she ended up overridding it. It may have been because there were a line of people behind me.

        • Shennasface

          Ahhh! I see.

        • Peggy

I tried to use someone else's a long time ago, not realizing it was tied to that person's card.  The clerk told me she could get fired if she overrode it and used it with my card.

    • heather

Do any of you have a gas card senario worked out yet? I'd be interested to know what they are. I'm not sure if I'm going to skip it this week or not.

      • Hkerrisk

There is a $10 gas rebate out there for select kellogg cereals. The raisin bran crunch is part of that deal. If you buy 12 boxes of the raisin bran cereal you will get the $10 gas card from here, also the $10 rebate gas card from kellogg. There are also $1/2 coupons that are printable for it, and I just got in my mail today a red plum insert that has coupons for $1/2 kellogg cereal. (any)

        • Lynnhelms

does it have to be raisin bran? or just a kellogg cereal? thanks

          • jennaj81

it's certain kinds of Kelloggs, mostly the healthy ones like corn flakes, rice krispies, smart start, crispex, raisin bran, product 19, etc.
the link for the rebate was given a while back but should be found easliy on their website. it's good through the end of the year.

        • Natasha

How do you get the Raisin Bran rebate for the gas card??

      • Hkerrisk

Most CVS stores only have 6-7 boxes of the raisin bran crunch. In order to get the 12 boxes you need you have to be a shelf clearer at more than one store. =(

      • liv

For the gas card this week, we got: 6 12-packs of Coke products, 1 Colgate toothpaste, 2 boxes of Cheerios, 2 boxes of Nature Valley granola bars and one container of Lipton tea :)

      • I just got back from CVS and had a great GAS card deal….6 12-packs of coke products, 1 hefty trash bags, 1 maybeline mascara… paid $16.99 got back $10 gas card so it was like getting it all for $6.99.  More detailed on my site.

    • Maryb10ten

I just signed up for a CVS account two days ago and I havent received the $4 off 20$ cupon to get me started. Does it take awhile before it's emailed?

      • Amanda

They dont email it.  Look under the Rewards/coupons tab on your cvs account.  That is where mine was.

      • guest

MIne was emailed and it took about a week.

    • Midnightsewing

Just got back from CVS, looking like a lot of stuff that will be on clearance, things in the laundry aisle like the Bounce bar, various scent items, also hair care, Fructise, Herbal Essecense items, cosmetics too.  I got the 1.44 clearance Fructice hair gell with 1.00 coupons making it .44 cents, and two had free samples attatched.  Also at my CVS there is a basket with free samples, guessing this is a lucky oddity but today it had Caress body washes, Got 2 Be  products,  and Eucerin, about 6 different items most had tear pad coupons.

      • Jklyles1

I went to see if my store had clearance and they did BUT it was ALL gone of course. And the items on clearance are supposed to be on sale this next week. Aussie stylers were 75% off and wiped out!

    • Jami

Good trip to cvs got charmin 16 roll , scott paper towel 6ct. a pantene shampoo, dawn dish soap, 24pk water, and two 20 ct. tampons all for 13 dollars and some change. YAY!

    • Annieven

My CVS (Cocoa, FL) was NOT printing extra bucks on some items that were supposed to have extra bucks.  The cashiers said that other local stores were having the same issue and they thought it had to do with people using manufacturers coupons!!!!?????  They thought there was policy change causing extra bucks not to print when some coupons were used.  SURELY NOT!   I'm really hoping/ thinking that it was just a glitch in the system today and the cashiers were just uninformed.  Has anyone else had a weird experience with this?

      • I too had a problem tonight with my ECB printing.  The cashier said it was probably because both ads were running and there was a glitch in the system because of that.  I don't think it had to do with coupons though because I used a coupon on the Gillette deal and got my ECB and I also used a coupon on the Skinny cow and did not get my ECB.  They gladly fixed it for me though.

        • Annieven

Thanks, Jennifer.  Our new ad usually doesn't kick in until midnight but maybe it was activated early this time.  Glad to hear it wasn't a big issue.  Love my CVS deals!.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

CVS flyer, alongwith other retailers, now actually advertise coupons to go along with ECBs. Therefore, it is nutty to suggest using manuf Q has anything to do with it. Most employees would quickly target coupons as the problem when it is not

        • Annieven

That's exactly what I told the cashiers and showed them their own ads. LOL.  It must have just been the computers but I'm amazed that they didn't even attempt to get to the bottom of it…..I know it was a weekend and all but still…..

          • Tjbyrd36

            Please ask for Management!!!

            • Annieven

Actually , the night manager was there watching and didn't have any input.  :(  Very unusual.  I really NEVER have issues there.  Must have just been an off night.

      • Ginger

I have had a problem similar to this but a little different. I was at CVS last week…had several transactions. One of my lip glosses rang up for $8.99 instead of $5.29 and the EB did not print. I said something to the cashier who just shrugged her shoulders. I ended up letter her go through the tans, after I went and checked the sight and the sign read $5.29 with $3 EB. I took my receipt to a different cashier who had to manual enter the price and EB deal in order to refund me. I believe this was not a glitch but a misplacement of a sign or product.

      • Tjbyrd36

Glitch! CVS does NOT have any policy changes with couponing for extra bucks!! We love coupons!!!!

    • Zspreston

Went to CVS today and the colgate wisps were on clearance for .67 cents (Usually priced at $2.67). I bought 2 and used two .50 cents q's paid .37 cents OPP for both. Red Box printed out $2 off Gold Emblem chips, and I bought a bag $2.47 and paid .50 cents OPP. Great trip!

    • Dee

Does cvs have a limit of coupons you can use on one product?
I have one $5 off Zegerid from CVS and one $ 5 off $25,one product coupon for $5 off and 3 ECB that will allow me to get Zegerid for free.

      • Catherine Taylor

you can use all of those coupons.

      • Katblue1987

I was able to use a 5off25, 5 off Zegerid CVS, and 5off manufacturer's for Zegerid today. And I got my 7.00 ECB.

    • Esha

Wud someone please let me know if can i use 3 off 10 for cosmetics & 5 off 25 purchase coupons in single transaction?

      • Charlotte

I have done that before with no problems

      • Blue_angel_1312001

Esha you can not use it unless your total equals $35 as the coupons would be then combined

        • Scoutsami

That isn't the case with the two coupons mentioned b/c you can have a total purchase of 25 and 1st use the 5 off coupon and then you total is still 20 … so as long as you did indeed get 10 dollars worth of cosmetics, you can then use the 3 off 10 coupon.

      • Cathy

I have combined both with no problems.

      • Acrawford62009

        Yes you can use both

    • millie

can not get the dove hair coupons to print.  the screen goes gray and will not go to print.  any ideas?  thanks!

    • Brenda

I got an extracare/coupon that says $5 off $30 Heath Care purchase. Can I use that on over the counter medicines?

      • Carmanm

Yes.  You can't use it on things like shampoo or makeup, but as long as it is health care related, you can.

    • Karly

Anyone looking to print off the Garnier coupons– I didn't realize that they didn't have an actual barcode that the register could scan and the cashier couldn't take them. Check your printable to make sure it has a barcode before heading out.

    • Tjbyrd36

Sorry to say but the Covergirl deal is not a valid one! CVS stores was told that this is not an advertised deal and will not work. The extra bucks will not print!!!!

      • Mandy

I see it on the back of my ad, paired with the mystery beauty coupon.

      • VP22

It was on the last page of my ad and it was valid at my store.

      • Esha

I did the deal this AM & it worked fine & also printed the 4 ECB.

      • Chris53263

The covergirl deal is correct.  The only part that is not correct (which all stores were made aware of) is for the foundations and other powders.  The rest should apply as signed.

    • Ylevans1982

just left cvs and did pretty good. 6 Ajax dish detergents at .88 each used (3)$1 off fab, dynamo, or ajax coupons, 1 edge shave gel 1.99 ea with .55 off cpn, and 1 skintimate shave gel 1.99 ea with .55 cpn. Used $5 ECB and got everything for .17 out of pocket!!!!

    • Jas

des anyone know the mystery coupon?

      • Anna

I got $1 off any Maybelline or Almay exp. 08/08/11 (same day)

        • Mandy

Can you use the Maybelline on any Maybelline product (I'm thinking the Great Lash from the gas card deal.)

    • Cathy

Jumped on the Huggie/Pamper deal today. Got the bonus box of Huggies, pack of Pampers and 3 pack refill of wipes…. after all coupons and ecb's…… $7.43! Walked out with $8 for next week! Wanted some of the skintimate but it was gone. I'll check back and get a rain check if they are still out.

    • Jklyles1

Is there a set day that CVS marks their 75% off stuff. I went on Saturday and everything was gone

      • Chris53236

It could be any day Mon-Fri.  Weekends usually don't have them.  The days will probably be different for each store.

      • Kaela

My store does it on Mondays.

    • Harley

My CVS trip last night was so confusing.  They were out of everything so I bought 1 pack ofnLumene wipes @ $2.74 2 skinny cow candies, and 1 Herbal Essence Shampoo.  Had $4 Lunene coupon, free Herbal Essence up to $3.99 and buy 1 get one free on the Skinny Candy and $10 Extra Bucks and paid 63 cents.  My receipt has 1 coupon $3.99, 1 coupon .99, 1 coupon $2.79 and 1 CVS MFR Coupon $7.94 and I didn't receive any Extra Bucks for the candy.  Does this sound right?

      • Karly

The candy stopped being on sale yesterday. Today was a new ad with no extra bucks back on the Skinny Cows–unless you had a rain check.

      • Brian

If you went on Sat. night then you should have received the .99 ECB for Skinny Cow. What is confusing about your purchase is why did you use a $10 buck to pay when your total was not that much?

      • Kaela

I think the cashier price adjusted your $10 ecbs down to $7.94 beause technically that was your total pre-tax and .63 was your tax which ecbs cannot pay for. Your skinny cow ecbs should've printed so I'd take my receipt back in to have them manually printed. Good luck!

      • Kaela

Okay I just reread that- if you used a $4 lumene q, a free herbal q, and a bogo skinny cow  q your total was no where near 7.94 so why did you give them your 10 ebs?

    • CyndiB

Deal alert!  I went to CVS today and was browsing, found a couple of the Clairol Natural Instincts haircolors (on sale for $5.98, used a $2 manuf Q from the paper making it $3.98!) had a medium-sized 6.7 fl oz Pantene conditioner attached for free.  If that wasn't good enough, it also had $27 in coupons as well, all expiring in October 2012!  ($1 off any Covergirl product, $10 off Braun electric shaver, $7 off Crest 3D Whitestrips, $2 off Prilosec OTC, $1 off Olay facial moisturizer, $1 off Olay body wash or lotion, $1 off Tampax tampons, $1 off Pantene Expressions or Restore shampoo/conditioner, $1 off Secret Clinical Strength deo, $2 off Venus embrace razor or Disposable razor!!!!!)

    • Bekahbekah7

If I bought 3 dove hair treatments and 3 dove shampoo's would I be able to use 3 of the -Free Dove hair treatment WYB shampoo or conditioner, and 1 $1.50/2?

      • Anna

I bought 3 shampoo's, 3 conditioners and 4 daily treatment conditioners (I had only 4 coupons for the free treatment) to make it $30 so I could use my $5 off of $30 (10 x $3 = $30). The shampoo's and conditioners rang up $3 and the treatment (8fl oz)  $1,49 ! so my total was only $23,96 + tax. I used the (4) “free treatment wyb shampoo or conditioner” coupons, (2) $1,50 off of 2 (printable) and (1) $1 off of 1 (all you magazine, I had only 1). The cashier took of 3 times $3 and 1 time $1,49 ( I don't know why !!)  for the free coupons which made my total $5.47 before tax and I got back 5ECB !! I payed .47 + $1,61 tax for 10 items !!

        • Anna

Sorry, I forgot that I payed with 9 ECB's from last week so my total was $4,47 + tax instead of $0,47 !! Still a great deal !!

      • Beth

        yes – that will work.

    • charlie

Kroger sent me a bunch of coupons, Manufacturer coupons (they start with the 5 and have all the requirements of where to send them). I had one for the Nestle water for $1.25 off. I gave it to the cashier and she scanned it and before I could pay she then told me she couldn't take the coupon because it was a Kroger coupon and redid the whole transaction to take the coupon off, I had another $1 off coupon I used instead.

Is this true? It does not say redeem only at Kroger, I don't know why they wouldn't be able to accept it.

      • Bkny63

That's not true.  I used that same Kroger coupon on the waters 2 weeks ago.  I pointed out that it was a manufactures coupon and it had the address on the back.  They let me use it.

      • Cayoung_8

yeah I have a lot of problems when there are store logos on coupons. i try to show them where they are legit man coupons that can be used anywhere, but that logo makes cashiers nervous so they usually default to no.  Some of them have told me that they have to be careful with coupons because if they accept a coupon they shouldnt then they will get written up for it.

      • Jodispink

I used several fo the ones they sent me at Publixs yesterday and had no problems.

    • Kelli

re: John Frieda hair products…if you can't get the SS coupon to print (it's acting up for me)…Publix has Root Awakening shampoo and conditioner for normal hair on clearance for $2.75 each right now (in FL, but check at your store).  This would make it only 75 cents each with the SS coupon (or $2.75 without).

    • Heathers_147

Can I use a coupon that printed from the CVS center with a manufacturer coupon for the same item?

      • Surfergirl8989

        you sure can!

        • Heathers_147

    • New to Couponing

I need help!!!  I am very new to couponing and I have noticed a lot of the coupons that come from “Kroger mailer, Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet, Publix mailer” and so on.  Where do I get these from?  I currently print coupons online and get the coupons out of the paper, but if I could get more, that would help.  Thanks!!!

      • Cayoung_8

The Get more from your pharmacy booklet was found near the pharmacy at kroger several months ago.. I NEVER found one…  The Publix mailers you can sign up for the Publix magazines (familystyle, grape, and there's one more I can't remember the name of) by going to the publix website and signing up for them.  Every so often Publix will do “stocking spree”, etc.  booklets and those are booklets that they have a limited amount of and you can sign up to have one mailed to you.  (usually they will post a link on the blogs when these become available)  as far as the Kroger home mailers I just made sure they have my address on file with my card and they FINALLY started mailing them to me after almost a year.  Just everytime you go in any store keep your eyes peeled for booklets and tearpads things of that sort.

    • Heathers_147

Can I use a coupon that printed from the CVS center with a manufacturer coupon for the same item?

      • Sheila

I don’t know what you mean by “CVS Center”, but if you are talking about the CRTs that print from the red box inside stores, then yes – you can stack these with manufacturer coupons.  If you are talking about the coupons that you can print from the CVS.com website, you have to see what kind of coupon it is.  The majority of the coupons that are on there are manufacturer coupons that canNOT be stacked. However, some are store coupons (listed as CVS coupon at the top) that can be stacked with another manufacturer coupon.  HTH.

    • Brownketch

Heads up for ya'll around Birmingham: I had a rare issue today with ECBs not printing and sale prices not showing up.  The Dove deal worked fine, but I had trouble with the Lamisil (it didn't print the $5 ECB) and the CVS brand BOGO battery deal didn't ring up with the sales price.  I plan to return to the store and have everything adjusted and do not anticipate a problem.  Also, the sale signs were not up, which was out of the ordinary for my store (Helena).  I'm not sure how those two things would be connected, but F Y I if you are shopping those deals!

      • Sesb

Thanks for the heads up.  I am in Helena, too.  However, when I shop on Sundays, the Helena CVS *never* have the signs up.  I must get there too early (12:30 pm-1pm).  They work on hanging them while I am there.  I have found that the new Pelham (by the Huntley) is better stocked (most times).  I still have to get lots of rainchecks, though.  And, I have totally given up on Walgreens…they are always sold out of everything!!!  It wasn't like this when I first started couponing!

    • Coupongal18

Did pretty well at CVS today…here is what I did:

      Transaction One:
      (2) Herbal Essence
      Used: (2) – $1.00/herbal essence
                 -$2 ECB (Last week)
                 -$1 ECB (last week)
      Total Due: $0.00
      Got back : $1.00 ECB

      Transaction Two:
      (2) Dove Shampoo
      (3) Dove Hairspray
      Used: (1) -$1.50/2 Dove haircare
                (2) FREE HAIR treament WYB Dove shampoo/conditioner (coupon =$3, so $6)
                -$0.99 ECB (last week)
                -$1.00 ECB (transaction 1)
      Total Due: $5.84
      Got back: $5 ECB

      Transaction Three:
      (3) Softsoap Bodywash
      Used: (3) -$0.75/Softsoap
                 -$5 ECB (transaction 2)
      Total Due: $1.86
      Got back: $3 ECB

      Transaction Four:
      (1) Pampers Diapers
      Used: -$2.00/Pampers
                -$3 ECB (transaction three)
      Total Due: $3.99
      Got back: $3 ECB

      Total OOP: $11.69
Left with: $3 ECB for next week!!!! So, for everything I bought, I spent $8.69, which is great considering diapers by themselves are usually $8.99 :)

      Happy Shopping!

    • Amy P.

I would like to know if I will be able to use the Purex .50 cents of one 50 ounce bottle with the bogo promotion that is in the CVS add for this week.  I have read the coupon and it states 50 ounce  or larger.  The  sales paper says it will except this weeks coupon but advertises the ounces of the bottles that are bogo at 33 ounces.  Has anyone tried this yet?

      • Crunchycouponer

33 loads is a 50 oz bottle, so yes. Since it is BOGO, you can use 2 of the coupons.

      • Amy P.

Thanks for your help… in my sales paper is says 33 ounces not 33 loads.. I guess it must be a miss print lol.. either way I'm glad I will be able to use the coupon :)

    • Heathers_147

I want to go get three Dove shampoos and two treatments. Can I use a cvs $2/2 shampoo, a manufacturer $1.50/2, a $1 off one dove hair product, and two BOGO treatment coupons? The CVS policy says you cant use a BOGO and $ off for two items. But on here she has that you can. Thanks.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Where did you read CVS policy?

    • Lindsey

So which of you crazy couponers took the paper from my driveway today? Just kidding, but seriously someone stole it! My boyfriend said it had been there earlier in the morning but about 3 PM it was gone! I learned my lesson, don't wait until mid afternoon to collect your paper because some rude individual will steal it! Are they really too cheap to shell out the $1.50 themselves? There were two cars in the driveway so it is clearly not an abandoned or foreclosed house.

Ok, back on topic the $5 ECB when you spend $10 on Excedrin did not print out on my receipt today. I pointed out this to the cashier and she was able to manually print it. Just a heads up to anyone else who might be trying this deal, make sure you get your $5ECB! And in other news the shelves were completely cleared of all the Dove shampoos and conditioners, of course.

    • Iflaot2010

The Red box printed out a $1 off of Trident or Stride gum. CVS had the Trident on clearance for $1.02 and the Stride for $10 for 10.  Made it free or .02.

      • ireneY

Were the multiple-packs on clearance? The store Q is for the ones hanging in the candy aisle, I think.

        • Iflaot2010

No, I used it on the pack at the counter. I didn't realize that it was for the other ones. OOPS.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is also a$2/3 any trident coupon in SS recently. Combing that would give you three free gum

    • Officialscott

question – if I use coupons and save money on the items to get a gas card, does the amount come off after the figure up my 30.00 or before?

      • MomofKLA

i am pretty sure that you have to spend $30 before they take off your coupons.

      • Gatorginger

Yes it comes off after, as long as your total is $30 before coupons your good to go.

    • karen

      Thanks Jenny

    • Nicole

Just a heads up if you're interested in the dog treats deal this week: my CVS had peelies on the Milk Bone boxes, “Buy 2 Milk Bone biscuits, get a free Milk Bone soft and chewy treat.”  Made for an awesome deal to get me to $30 for the gas card!

how does it work if the store has a sale BOGO and you have a coupon for the same thing and it is also BOGO

      • At CVS they would both be free.  If you watch Jenny's CVS video she explains this in great detail.  It is worth watching…a few times, it is near the top on the right.

        • Sharris1659

I was told recently at Rite Aid that they would no longer accept a BOGO coupon on a BOGO offer from the store.  This isn't CVS news, but thought I would pass it along.

          • ireneY

Yes, it was reiterated to me last night by a Rite Aid cashier, even though I had a completely FREE coupon. He wouldn't take it and I explained it wasn't a BOGO on BOGO sale. He finally relented. Couponing takes some major negotiating some times. Makes me appreciate CVS even more!

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

That is a new revised policy that took effect a month or so ago.

      • Teresa

where are you finding such good coupons like that??

    • TibFlava

spend $15 get $5 extrabucks. Is $15 dollars before tax or after tax?

      • Dsci2003

        before tax

    • TibFlava

I am little confused how this works.Dove products. Spend $15 get $5 ECB. I have two manufactures coupons buy 1 get 1 free on shampoos & conditioners. CVS two shampoos or conditioners are 6 bucks. So lest say if get 4 shampoos , being two of them free from the MFC. Would the cashier still count the total amount of $12 for 4 shampoos or just $6 for two. and then i would have to add another dove hair treatment to reach the $15.

      • VP22

They would count the $12 because that is your total before coupons. The only way it would not count is if the store was having a bogo sale then it would only be $6. So all you have to do is add one more $3 item to reach your total.

    • Krysten

Is there a limit as to how many transactions you can do at a store? And if u are limited to how many products does that count for the day or per card?

      • If you look at the sales flyer it will show you how many are allowed PER card, if it says “limit 1” then that's it, you won't get the ECB if you go to another store or come back the next day.  It prevents people from clearing the shelves and give others a chance to buy the item as well.

        • Krysten426

Thanks! I understand the reasoning i just wasnt sure how that all worked! Exp when i have two in diapers im trying to stock up! Thanks Again!!!

    • Tamika

(Newvie Here) Please help me understand this. I just went to CVS to do the Dove $15.00 deal and it went bad.
      Bought: (2) Dove Shampoos, (1) Conditioner & (3) treatements.
Used:  (3) Free Dove hair treatment WYB shampoo or conditioner, excl 20 oz, and trial size, RP 7/31

I tried to pay with my $10 ecb that I got last week and when everything was rung up my total came to $5.87 after the (3) coupons. The cashier said I couldn;t use the $10.00 ECB to pay and my $5.00 ecb didn't print. When I looked at the receipt at the bottom it says:
      Amount Toward This Reward: $9.00
Amount Needed to Earn Reward: $6.00

I also noticed that the (3) treatments rung up at $1.59 each

I'm guessing since the total amt. didn't ring up to exactly $15.00 that is why I didn't get the $5.00 ecb but why couldnt I use my $10 ecb to pay. Also based on the receipt can I go back and get just $6.00 in Dove products to get the $5.00 ecb or do you have to do it all in (1) transaction. Thx

      • You couldn't use the $10 ECB because it was more than the total….that's why you always hand them the highest valued coupon/ECB first.  So had you used your $10 one first you most likely would not have paid anything.  And yes you should be able to go back and get the $5 when you buy $6 worth of Dove products.

        • Tamika

OMG – I totally forgot about the order of handing the coupons. I do that for Walgreens and it totally slipped my mind for CVS as I have just started shopping in there. Thanks so much :).

      • EDD454SS

it looks like 2 shampoos & 1 cond. would be 9.00 before tax and the treatments were free with the coupons so to use a 10.00 ecb you would need 1.00 more because it has to be 10.00 bofore tax to use a 10.00 ecb

        • Tamika

Ok great – thanks for the help

      • michelle

you do not have to do it all in one transaction but you do have to do it before that certain deal is up.  one of our cvs starts the new deal on saturday after 4 or 5 pm so it knocks you out of the current deal. also your ecb will not pay into your tax that you owe.  walgreens is the same that you can not pay your tax w/ your RR.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Actually you could pay with $10 ecb; the casher just had to reduce the amount to the due amount on your transaction. In that way you would have lost good over $4 for nothing. It would have been better if you bought something for $4 and some change so you could use full $10 for your benefit. If something like that happens and you are just short of few cents of yout ecb amount and do not wat to buy anything more, then remind the cashier that the ecb states “upto” meaning, cashier should be adjusting the ecbs amount appropriately to the transaction balance-it is allowed and done that way.

Also, prices at CVs are sometimes unpredictable. I always scan prices of each and every item to make sure that my total would as I would methodically plan ahead.

Basically, now you just need to do this
Buy 2 shampoos/Conditioners (assuming $3 each) and grab a styler
if you have the b1g1 Q, then use it on the styler, and pay $6 to get your $5 ecb.

    • JO

Anyone out there had any luck printing the coupon for suave body wash

    • Gingiraffe

WooHoo!  I'm super pumped about the deal I just got!  Found 2 Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers Size 1 on clearance for $2.74 ea (reg 10.99).  Bought both and used the $1 off 2 packs from PG insert last week and bought a pack of cruisers.  After coupons and using ECBs, piad $3.99 (incl tax) and got back $4 ECBS (Pampers deal and Greenbag tag) 3 packages of FREE DIAPERS!! I'm about to have 2 in diapers if my son doesn't make headway in potty training soon.  So excited!

      • guest

And, when you buy 6 pks (clearance counts), you get a print out for a free 7th pk up to 11.99!

    • Jessie

Every time I go to CVS they're always out of something, all the ECB product shelves are always empty….just started but this is what I did today:

      (3) Pampers Baby Dry Jumbo packs, they didn't have swaddlers
      (1) pkg Sensitive Wipes, 192 ct since small ones were gone
      (1) gal of 2% Milk
      (1) PET Chocolate 1qt

      Sub Total: $50.14

      – $5 off $25
      – $5 ECB from prev
      – $2 Pampers And wipe coupon
      – $1 Pampers on 2 bags coupon
      – $8.40 CVS sale price for pampers reg $11.79

      Total: $28.74 – 3ECB = $25.74 so about 50% savings….

I had planned my coupons but since they were out I had to change up the pampers coupons and got an extra bag instead….so not bad right? Should I have split the trandactions? We needed milk…

      • bootsiegirl

I have noticed my CVS also out of the sale items.  But when I asked about them, they had some stocked in the back of the store.  I think they put some aside.  Just be sure and ask and don't just assume they are out.

        • Surfergirl8989

why would they put stuff aside? Who exactly are they saving it for?…A cashier at my store started complaining to me one day that she couldnt stand people who came in and shelf cleaned cuz they have several cards between a few members of their family. ( I dont do this so I wasnt offended) She was like ” You know I guess those people never thought we the employees might want to get some of these deals too”. Which makes me wonder when do the cvs employees get to buy stuff? Do they get first dibs on everything or do u think they have to wait until the end of the sale? Just pondering some thoughts…

    • Jessie

oh and when I commented to the cashier that they were always out on certain things, she said they usually keep some stock in the back so the coupon clippers don't get it all…I then handed her my 4 coupons.  I'm glad we have another CVS close by, as well as a walgreens :)

    • Happy Feet

My CVS only rings up one item on a bIgI free…. so you have to do four BIGI on the Dove to get the deal…  :o)

    • a.b

can i use a $10.00 of $50.00 purchase and a $5.00 of $20.00 coupon in the same transaction?

    • a.b

      can i use a $10.00 of $50.00 purchase and a $5.00 of $20.00 coupon in the same transaction?if i ave a second 5 of 20 can i use all three q's?

      • Jessie

no, at the bottom it says 'limit of one purchase-based coupon' so you'd have to do 2 transactions, one for 50 and another one for 20.

    • Katrina_stewart68

I got a great deal at CVS on Saturday and stocked up on Shampoo and Conditioner. I only spent around 17.50 out of pocket and purchased around 70.00 dollars worth of Shampoo, Conditioner, and Deodorant. The B1G1 coupon for the Dove products can be used on the Shampoo. My local CVS allowed me to use get Shampoo for the free one instead of a styling product so I got a great deal and used my coupons and stocked up.

    • Sharris1659

I went to CVS tonight armed with my “buy Dove shampoo … get Dove treatment free” coupons.  I bought three shampoos, they only had two treatments, so I asked the manager if he would substitute a conditioner for a treatment and he agreed to.  When I paid, the three shampoos and conditioner rang up for $3.00 each, the treatments for $1.57 each.  The coupons took off $1.57 twice and $6.00 for the conditioner.  The cashier said you get the highest price (?) on the offer.  I had $5 and $1 ECBs … my total out-of-pocket expense was $.99, and the cashier manually printed $5.00 ECB for $15.00 purchase!

      • Tlw35

Where are you?  What state and city.

        • Sharris1659

Warner Robins, Georgia.  CVS at Russell and Lake Joy.

      • Malindasdreams68

what r ecb's? I am new at this. Thanks for sharing!

        • Gatorginger

ecb's are extra care bucks that are printed on your receipt when you purchase certain items that gives you ecb's for purchasing them.  The dove deal above was buy $15.00 of certain dove products get back $5.00 in ecbs

        • Sharris1659

ECB's are the Extra Care Bucks you get for buying certain items.  Jenny lists them with the products; i.e., “$5 when you buy (WYB) $15.00 in Dove products.”  You can use them on your next purchase or keep them for another day.  They do expire, so watch the expiration date on them.

      • N3mbe

Where did you get the coupons for the shampoos/conditioners?

    • Surfergirl8989

Diapers are included in nexts weeks deal for the gas card! Can't wait! Now if I just had diaper coupons lol

      • Ash

I have some pampers coupons… I don't have babies anymore and hate to throw them away!

        • Ash

If you want them, let me know….
          rileyfarm_arm at hotmail dot com

      • Sharris1659

Good news!  I have my second great-granddaughter due in October!

      • Krysten426

Which diapers? And when does this start Sunday?

        • Surfergirl8989

Yes each sale starts on Sunday or Sat night depending on your store. The gas deal is on all jumbo packs of Huggies including the new slip-on diapers.

      • Tonjatjmom

i dont have babies so if there is coupons out there let me know where and i will mail them to you.. u can email me at tonjatjmom@aol.com

    • Luci

What can one do with recently expired ECBs? I've never had this happened, but a friend who was traveling out of town realized she had up to about $20 worth. I think I've heard some of you were able to get them reset. If so, how does one do it and who should she contact?

      • Dharvn

ask the store manager. my store accepts expired ECBs and CVS coupons.

    • Rachel

anyone know if you can still use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 deal at CVS or
if you can still use a coupon on each item in a B1G1 deal? I thought I
saw that they changed that a while back but the policy email Jenny has
posted shows that you can do it.

      • Dharvn

Rite Aid changed their policy, not CVS.

    • I have a quick question that isn't related to this week's deals:

Do the Nivea lip balms count toward your beauty total? I was able to use my $3/$10 cosmetics coupon on them… But they didn't show up on my Beauty Club total. I'm a little confused.

      • Shirley

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for it to show up. HTH

        • It's usually 48 hours like clockwork for me… But I made this purchase on Friday. :(

    • merefromSC

is there the 10 ecb for crest whitestrips going on this week at CVS? Thanks!

    • rachael

Does qualification for the gas gift card have to be made in one purchase?

      • Nope. It just has to be made within one sale period. :-)

      • tara

No Rachel it will add up in a week ONLY…

    • Zebbie

I was going to skip cvs this week, but an unexpected 5 off 25 showed up on my account, and the free body wash from the minute clinic yesterday made me decide to work out a trip, and it turned out great.  I got
      2 Dove Body wash
1 Dove deodorant (bonus pack on one of the body wash)
      1 Dove conditioner
      1 Dove advanced therapy conditioner
      1 Cvs body wash
      2 Nestle pure life water

I used the 5 off 25, free cvs body wash, two 1.25 off Dove body wash from 7/31  newspaper, one 1.00 off dove hair product from aug all you, one b1g1 dove coupon for shampoo or conditioner with hair treatment, and 5.00 ecb from last trip.  My total was 5.51, and I got back 5 ecb, plus this transaction will put me over the top for my 50 dollars beauty club spending so I will be getting 5 ecb in a couple days for that.  I am really excited cause I was going to buy the two cases of water this week from another store anyhow, so its like the rest is just a bonus.

      • tara

Hey was all this done in the same transcation..

        • ireneY

Probably yes, since she needed $25 to use her $5/25 coupon.

        • Zebbie

          yes, it was one transaction

      • Jenniferhall871

where do you get the 5 off 25? you mentioned it showed up on your account? I do not understand. thanks

      • Amy Y

lol, you sound like me.  I don't really need any shampoo etc, i got mine a few weeks ago but somehow that same coupon came in my email???  I think they know when we're going to skip out on them because they know we can't in our right mind pass up free money!

    • Lori

Found clearance Herbal Essence hairspray (SetMe Up) non-aerosol for $1.12 bought two used 2 $1 coupons for $.24 and got back $1 ECB. Yay!

    • Sofia

I have a question… if I buy two prepaid Visa gift cards what amount is considered part of my purchase? I have this $5 off $25 I'd like to use, but not sure if the gift card purchases would count for anything. Help please! thanks.

      • I haven't used a gift card like that before, but I think you would have to have an amount(before taxes) over $25.00 to be able to use it and I would also use it first if it's your highest dollar value off.  :)  Good luck!

      • Megan Elizabeth09

I work at CVS, any coupons are not valid on girft cards so even if you buy them to reach $25 the coupon wont be valid

    • karen

      Great List

    • guest

I recenty purchased beauty care items and I noticed when I got home that my beauty care spending amount on my receipt didnt increase. What can I do about it?

      • It takes it about 48 hours to increase. If it doesn't increase after that time, then I would call their CS number. :-)

    • N3mbe

Just came back from CVS. Got 3 Dove therapy shampoo and 3 Dove therapy conditioner used 3 BOGO coupon from 7/21 RP paid only tax (1.57) and got 5 ECB. Really good money maker. I also got huggies diaper and wipes both for $26 used $4/$20 CVS coupon, $3 MC for the diaper and .50c for the wipes + 11ECB from previous purchase paid $9.42 inc tax and got back 5 ECB which brings the total to $4.42.

      • With the dove therapy shampoos, did you have to use ECBs?

        • n3mbe

no. just the coupons. they did not have the treatment so the cashier tried using the coupons for the same items and they worked.

          • Aaah… So the coupons are automatically taking the full amount off? That's pretty awesome.

            • deecheers4rv

My coupon only took off 3 not 6..Bummer

            • Mine too. :(

I had a scenario where I would have only had to pay $5 in ECBs for everything, then I would have gotten the $5 ECBs right back… But I went with another scenario because I was counting on the coupons to ring up full price. Bummer is right.

            • deecheers4rv

Pretty much. I didn't even need shampoo but I had a 5/25 and didn't want to not use it! Oh well it wasn't a bad deal just not free!

      • NewMommy2

I got 4 conditioners & 2 shampoo's (they said i could bc they didnt have the treatment) and i had a rain check for the skinny cow singles (and they were on sale buy 2 get 1 free) total oop was $3 and some change, and got back $6 ECB.

    • Bhunt7105

Can someone please tell me if this is correct? I want to make sure that I have this deal right before I go to my CVS. Thanks in advance!

      Huggies deal
      Big pack diapers- $20
2 tubs of wipes- 2.99 ea (my sales ad says this is part of this deal)
      Total before coupons $25.98
      -$3 mfr huggies cpn
      -.50 mfr huggies wipes
      -.50 mfr huggies wipes
      -$2 cvs huggies cpn
      -$8 ECB
Totaling 6.98 and get $5 back in ECBs

Is this right? Or will I need to purchase some filler items to allow the use of all the coupons? Thanks for your help!

      • Looks perfect. No fillers needed. Gotta love CVS!!!

        • Bhunt7105

Thanks! I'm starting to think cvs is going to be my favorite place to shop now! :D I'm so excited about this deal!

        • NewMommy2

Yeah I deff like CVS better than Walgreens now!!!

      • N3mbe

Wow your deal looks better than mine. The CVS  $2 coupon, was this the one for the slip on huggies? Please let me know if this is accepted. thanks.

      • millie

NO! you do not have to get filler items at cvs that is only at walgreens.

      • NewMommy2

I was thinking about this scenario:
        (4) Slip on Huggies 8.99 each ($35.96)
        – $5 off $25.00
        – (4) $3.00 Manuf. coupon (from Sundays paper)
        -(4) $2.00 CVS coupon
        -$7.00 ECB
        Total = $3.96 + tax
        And get $10 gas card!!!

        • couponing mama

The $2/1 CVS coupon states that only one coupon can be used per customer per day so the scenario won't work. I wish we could use more than more of the CVS coupons.

          • tori729

That might be true, so just split it up into two days instead. I know that means you can't use a $5/$25 but the gas promo accrues over the week.

    • Did anyone else get an email from CVS about the Covergirl Natureluxe foundation make-up for $6 with coupon now printing at coupon center? Deal is supoosed to be good through tomorrow (8/12). That is a terrific price and will count towards beauty club purchase/reward. I plan to get mine tomorrow.

    • babs in bama

said I wan't going this week but I gave in!
      coke products    6  = 18.00 no cps  18.00
      Progresso soup  4  =   8.00 – 1.00 = 7.00
      Garnier products 3  = 10.00 – 3.00 = 7.00
      Herbal Essence  2  =  4.97  – 2.00 = 2.97
      Chex Mix           2 =   3.00 –    .50 = 2.50
      5/40  5ECB  5 ECB  2 ECB       =   17.00
$71.83  in merchandise for only $20.47
I got another $3 ECB and a $10 gas card

    • Alacia

Where are you getting the 5/25 coupon?? Is it in their paper?

    • Nevermind. Wrong week! LOL
