Where did you get so many Stacy’s coupons? Did you buy multiple papers?

    • Jennifer C.

The Stacy’s coupons will be in the upcoming inserts in the paper. You’d have to buy multiple papers or get them from friends/family who don’t use the coupons from the paper. There are all kinds of ideas to get paper coupons that can be found on the internet, some people even dumpster dive for them! I just take the hit and buy my papers!

    • jj

Hey, I just wanted to say I appreciate you not starting your scenario with those throat coolers!! I have been to 4 different stores in 2 counties this month (always in the area anyway, I wouldn’t do it otherwise!) and NONE of them have those. Not even a tag on the shelf where they should be. I don’t think they carry them in GA. Anyway, great deal ideas, thanks!

    • Jennifer

Do all CVS stores that are not 24 hour ones start the EB deals on the Sat night before at 6pm? Just curious…I know you are from Columbia (I am too!) so I was just wondering if all of them did that. Thanks!

    • Jenny

All CVS stores everywhere that aren’t 24 hour start at 6pm Saturday! It’s great. I hate feeling any urge to shop on Sunday so this way I never deal with it.

    • Jeannie

Do you know if Stacy’s Pita Chips work for the Pepsi/Lay’s coupon mail in? They are listed with other Lay’s products and on the rebate form it says any Lay’s product snack.
Also, do catalina manu q’s work at any store regardless of where they came from?

    • Jenny

Jeannie – I don’t know about the Stacy’s Chips, I don’t think that they are actually Lay’s products (I just searched their website and couldn’t find any mention on Lays, or Frito/Lay).

Catalina’s do work at any store as long as they state Manufacturers coupon on them, any store can submit them and get the money back.

    • Jeannie

I searched Stacy’s site, too- and found nothing, but can’t figure how the Stacy’s would be listed with the Pepsi/ Lay ECB deal unless they had some connection–
Thanks for checking for me, too.

And a note on your Publix List about not needing you- your site is extremely helpful. I teach and in one class we have a coupon game (and my students really go shopping). They are learning English and this is a great way for them to interact with the computer and get out in stores and practice English, and it is a very practical way for them to save money and get products for donations (which we do a lot of). Your site is the favorite q help site of any. They get really excited about all the savings that are available and this has led to making up recipe books in English among other things. They compete relentlessly with OOP expenses and it is a hoot to see them get into this so much. They dig through garbage cans for coupons and one even made a deal with the newspaper to deliver all the left over copies to her personally so she can lord it over everyone else. Thanks for the work you do-it helps in ways far beyond the savings.

    • Jeannie

I just searched Frito-Lay site and Stacy’s is listed so we’re going to try that for one of my student’s q list.

    • MelRae

I am officially a CVS fanatic! I went last week and got one item. Paid $6 and got back $4.50 ECBs. Then went to CVS today, with the main goal to get more ECBs to use week of 1/25 for the Huggies deal. I used my $4.50 ECBs and spent about $10 oop, and got back $16.97 in ECBs AND a $5 off $15 coupon!!!!! HOLY COW!!! I can do the Huggies deal next week, and get $5 ECBs with that deal, and have ECBs from today left over!!!!

I hope to never have to spend “real” money in CVS again!

    • Kabba

Hello everyone! Can anyone here give me a heads up or explain the policies for CVS and Walgreens and how the ECB work? I usually dont shop there but would love to know how to shop at the level that you are all at!!! With kids and 1 income, we can save every penny we can. Would appreciate any help, thanks!

    • Jenny

Kabba. Check out the getting started guides button above the Southern Savers header and you will find a very detailed guide to CVSing. I hope that helps and ask if you have any questions.

    • Gini

Will the Pantene/Gillette/H&S deal apply to Gilette body wash as well?

    • Jenny

I think the hair care items are all that are mentioned in the ad so I doubt it.

    • christi

Jenny, if we did the pepsi deal and got 10ecb last week, can we do it again this week. My receipt says I have reached my limit but with a new week…

    • Jenny

Christi – That is unknown. It is not a month long deal it seems that it would be reset for another week. I would recommend going in and doing another transaction first so you can see on your receipt if it still shows the Pepsi deal as limit reached. Let me know what it does say if you do so we can all know!

    • Rachel

Hi, I found some info. that indicates that the Stacy’s Pita Chips are within Frito-Lay so would qualify for the coupon mail in. Here is the link if you want to check it out for yourself!

    • I just returned from CVS where I scored BIG! Thanks Jenny for your grand scenario. I did most of it. I didn’t do the Almay but I added the advil deal and threw in a few more (I was feeling brave!). I saved $109.98 and OOP $6.07! WAAAHHOO! I was also able to find the Nasogel, so I picked up two of those. Thanks!!

    • Jennifer C.

Regarding the Pepsi deal, it reset this week. I bought 16 Sobe’s last week and got 10.00 ecb’s back and just completed the same transaction and got another 10.00 ecb’s.

    • Jessica

Regarding Jennifer’s question regarding next week’s sale beginning on Saturday at 6Pm for non-24 hour CVS stores, I tested this out for the first time here (Gainesville, FL) tonight. Once again, we seem to be the only region where the rules don’t apply. I went at 8PM and asked the counter guy if next week’s deals applied yet, and he said “no.” Just to be sure, I had him price check a couple of the items that are supposed to be on sale tomorrow (including the Huggies Pull-Ups), and they weren’t on sale yet. I’m not sure if this applies to all of Florida, but definitely to my store :(.

Jenny, once again thank you for the hard work. I’m really excited about the Pull-Ups deal (and never would have known about it if I hadn’t gotten addicted to this site a couple of months ago), and plan to go first thing in the morning.

    • Carole

On the Benifiber coupon. I looked in the Smart Source 1/04 and I can not find the coupon. Can you tell me what is on the front of the coupon section.

    • Jennifer

Anyone know where to get the $40 off the coverter box coupon now, like a printable one so I can go get a free one at CVS today or tomorrow?

    • Kabba

Thanks Jenny, I actully noticed that section after I had posted my comment! Thanks for getting back to me so fast.

    • Jenny

I’m pretty sure the only way to get the coupon is from http://www.dtvanswers.org and it is by mail. Sorry.

    • Jennifer

That stinks! My DH wants to buy one and of course I want one for free!

    • Jennifer

Creepy! When you call the #, the computer already knows your address…

    • Jennifer

They put me on a waiting list because the money is gone, which means they are out of coupons…

    • Oh thanks for the deal scenario on the chips. If I can get some extra coupons I may try this one!

    • Sally

Is the Vocalpoint Mailer a FREE service, or a paid subscription? Thanks for your outstanding work!

    • My blog has my latest CVS deal.
