The “Magic Coupon Machine” also known as the Coupon Center at CVS is giving out fun coupons again this week!  Many of you are reporting getting a coupon for FREE Ritz Crackers 6 oz or Newton’s Fruit Thins!

Have you gotten any other good coupons this week from the coupon center?

(This is an awesome week for deals at CVS too, so don’t miss those!)

    • Ylevans1982

I got the coupon for the free cookies/crackers…but I also got a coupon last week for $1.50/1 KotexU item. Paired it with $1/1 KotexU item and got pads for .50 since they were on sale! LOVE CVS

    • Vevans

I got the coupon for free Ritz Crackerfuls – they are great.  I also bought the Softsoap and Allergy Meds – got back $5.69 in ECB and used that to buy the RePhres Tampons and rec’d $6.79 in ECB for future purchase.

    • Melissa

      I got the free crackers & a $10 off $50 purchase coupon. : )

    • Huntnbaysmum4

Free Dove choc. bar and $4 off $20 purchase.

    • I got one for $3 off NyQuil or DayQuil

      • Liz

that’s a great one you can pair with the P&G $3/2 coupon!

      • Melissa

I did this deal this week.  The coupon printed last week but I already knew about the buy 2 get $3ECB so I paired the man q with the CVS then got the ECB’s back to make it $1.50 a box for the Day Quil which I was out of.

    • Brandy

I got the Ritz coupon too but our store was sold out.

      • racecitymom

They will sometimes substitute it with something if you ask. I know mine will. Never hurts to ask…

    • got mine :D

    • I got the free cracker coupon this week, and a great Allegra and Prilosec Q last week, as well as the free candy Qs.  Got some FABULOUS deals this week, though my OOP was higher than I would have liked, about $25, but retail would have been $110.  I guess you could say paid full price for the Prilosec and got everything else for free, lol, including Allegra, Prilosec, CVS Allergy, Summer’s Eve, Aussie, Colgate, Airwick, Finish and other assorted stuff, and I still have $3 ECB left over.

      • Anonymous

I usually try to spend less than $10 at cvs each week… but I will spend up to $20 if it’s something we *need*.      I spent $15 yesterday, but got back $13 in ecbs! so next week might be a “free” week for me if the sales are good.. and I hope there are some good ecb’s too so I can keep rolling my bucks =)

    • Bethany

I got a coupon for a free pack of cvs brand diapers!! Apparently they have a buy six get one free deal. I don’t know if it has to be in one purchase, but I don’t think so. I think I read somewhere they are going the same deal with pampers. I also got a $5 off $25 and $3 off $15 baby care, so I got the box of pampers deal and some formula. That paired with the p&g deal made it a great week at cvs on some necessities that were much needed. Thanks to you and cvs this baby has been so much cheaper than my first! Thanks for the service you provide!

      • Anonymous

** if you buy 9 packs of huggies you get one free too!!! (i think it’s nine. i’ll have to look at one of my reciepts.)

and yes this baby has been SO much cheaper. my youngest is 18mths. i’ve only been couponing seriously since about april. when they did the gas card promo on huggies i used my sister’s, mom’s and my card to stock up on diapers. i ended up getting the free pack of bandaids (from the coupon machine…) a 14ct box of prilosec (got a coupon from cvs for a free box in the mail!) and 12 packs of huggies for $37.94 and received 3 $10 shell cards!!!!!!

it’s still my proudest moment!!!! :)

and i’m still kicking myself for not couponing before. i CANNOT believe i was paying $10/pack of diapers before. what was i thinking?!?!?!?

and….have you signed up for the publix baby club???? in the first set of coupons they send you a bunch of coupons for free stuff. free publix alcohol. cocoa butter. buy huggies diapers, get wipes free. BOGO publix diapers. $5 publix diaper Q……

    • Kmcandjal4ever

yeah i work at cvs on asheville hwy in knoxville tn and we are likeout of both. so my manager is lettin us give away our brand cookies in stead.

    • Ive tried the last 2 weeks to get the decent coupons and it wont give them to me… The machine doesn’t like me :(

      • TLF

I don’t know if this helps or not, but I always scan my card twice,  and I usually get coupons both times.  The best coupons usually come out the first time,  but at least I get more coupons by scanning my card two separate times during the same store visit.

      nice ..thks a lot

      Good Morning to all
I am looking for the $4.00 off air wick coupons if you have any and are willing to trade please email me.. thanks

    • SouthernMomma

I LOVE my CVS because the manager is very good at ordering for her sales.  She rarely runs out of stock even with the hoarders that come in.  I get everything I want from the sales and don’t go until the Friday after the sale starts. LOVE HER!!!

      • Mrscori2006

She needs to get in touch with the manager of the McDonough, GA store LOL

    • Anonymous

I got a free Newton’s Fruit Thins and they were delicious!! I never would have bought otherwise! Now I am going to buy for sure next time!

      • Jbush27

        Me too, I love them.

      • Liz

I said the SAME thing!!!  I’ve already eaten about 6 cookies! lol  Good thing they’re only 140 calories for 3! hahaha

        • Anonymous

I ate half the box!! OMG

          • Newton Fruit Thins are tasty, but FREE Newton Fruit Thins are delicious!

            • Anonymous

Too funny -I always tell my husband that my favorite flavor – of anything – is free!

      • Anonymous

I got the cookies, but we havent tried them yet, but I feel like goin into the pantry now the way you guys talk about them! lol

        • Anonymous

I think i got the cranberry ones…so good…go try! lol

    • krickettz

My CVS was out of both the Newton’s and the Ritz, and it was Sunday afternoon when I went! AND they refused to do any substitutions!

      • Momof4boys

Same thing happened to me too!  The lady told me I could try another CVS but I’m not driving 15 minutes on the other side of town to get a free box of crackers and hope they aren’t out too!

      • Floppymdq

        I asked for a raincheck.

        • Judi

I was told you can’t get a rain check on these free itemsbecause  it is a cvs coupon that will more than likely expire by the time they get more in and my cvs won’t honor an expired coupon.  So we are just out of luck.

    • My store also had some of their large bags of Skittles, Lifesaver Gummies and Starburst on clearance for 90% off…i got them for $.38/bag!  My kids were really excited about that!

      • dallly

which cvs? i was thinking about getting some. Thanx

    • My store also had some of their large bags of Skittles, Lifesaver Gummies and Starburst on clearance for 90% off…i got them for $.38/bag!  My kids were really excited about that!

woow i’m still astonished ,I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use BidsBug.com

    • Angelareid821

I got a kick fanny $10 of Zyrtec 25ct or higher. Expires 2 weeks from printout.

    • Valisejackson

      I got this today…….what a nice surprise!

    • angie

Mine printed today but they were out so they stapled a raincheck to mine so i could get them on a later date.

      • Spencers4inall

They did that to one of my free offers, so later, when I went to redeem they said that the rainchecks would not cover the coupon, but they did go ahead and honor the free item since it was their mistake.

    • Tennillepayne

      I got a $4 Off Your Purchase of $20 or more!  :)

    • Amanda

I got it yesterday. Another reason to love CVS!

    • Pfamcoupons

They didn’t have the Newton’s Fruit Thins at my CVS so I had to get the Fig Newtons (which I wanted anyway) and it rang just fine with no problems. Enjoy the free snacks!

    • Wendy

I saw the single pack of pink stride gum on 75% clearance – .37 cents a pack

    • Wendy

they were out at my cvs too of the newtons and crackerfuls but they substituted for the 8oz pack of reg fig newtons.. which i like too.. so I left happy!

    • Lilshafty

I went to CVS yesterday and received this coupon, when I asked the clerk he told me where they were and that he had a ton of both options. Get to the aisle, all gone, the other clerk explains to us that,”those coupon ladies were here with there key chains full of CVS cards and that they got them all.” The employees told me that they have contacted corporate regarding these women cleaning out there store but that as of yet there are no policies restricted them from doing so. The clerks said they ladies have different names for each card and claim they are her sister, cousin, neighbor, etc. Please ya’ll don’t take advantage of the stores or they are going to ruin all the freeebies for the rest of us.

      • Mrscori2006

There is a lady that does that at my CVS too. She was in line in front of me one day and it took her forever because she had her “sister’s” card also. Well, why does SHE have her “sister’s” card and why isn’t her “sister” doing her own shopping? Whatever

        • sometimes it’s legitimate.  I have my mom AND my sisters cards because they don’t have time to shop BUT I always ONLY buy things they ask for with their cards. So for instance this week I’ll be getting two of the aspirins.  One for me and one for my mom, but my sister does not want hers so I won’t be getting it on her card.  Even using their cards I make sure to never go over the household limits.  To me it’s the same as stealing and i’m not a thief.

          • guest

Sometimes I will do the deals for myself and my daughter, if it is a few items and not to complicated.  Because we live 25 minutes from CVS, our closest town does not have a CVS, so we have to make a special trip to CVS.  It helps us save on gas.

      • Scrappingramma5

OMG that is so rude. First I was told I had to destroy all but 1 card per my household. I have 2 (but different households) because I take my brother who is handicap shopping sometimes. I usually have him with me though…This day both of our ECB’s were about to expire so she “allowed it, just this time”. While I checked out I explained and then she said oh you don’t have to destroy his then just bring him with you. I was not offended by her she was just doing her job! I heard through some blogs I think this website that things were going to be changing at CVS, because after they went to tour CVS corporate, they (CVS) did not realize so many people were abusing the card system. That their previous policy allowed 1 card per person. But still that “person” should be there. ESPECIALLY a keychain worth of persons!!

        • Scrappingramma5

PS.. I did not duplicate any of the deals either, because he was not with me that day…

    • Anonymous

They were out of the advertised one at my CVS in Mt Pleasant yesterday but they let me substitute with a similar product – no problem.  I love the Magic Coupon Machine!

      • Judi

You scan your CVS card at the red box machine (price checker machine).  You can your card until the message says no more coupons today.

    • Ctcjsbag5

I got the free coupon and got the Bluebbery Fruit Thins and my kids love them.  I also got a $10.00 off Zyrtec coupon that could be paired with the $5.00 of Zyrtec manufacturer coupon.  Love the Magic Coupon Machine!

    • Melissa_markee

I got a free milky way bar last week :)

    • Guest

I got the coupon this morning for the free Ritz or Newtons but they didn’t have any OF COURSE> so I made them write me a rain check for it. I had stopped shopping there for a while b/c they never have anything in stock. I gave them another try and it appears nothing has changed

    • Khill

My CVS was out of stock and the great manager there authorized the employees to deduct $2.50 off of any Nabisco Product so I got a package of Chips Ahoy for free!!  YAY for Hartwell GA CVS!!!

      • Kerri L

My CVS in Suwanee, GA has the same policy!!!  LOVE CVS

    • Khill

    • Ludki

Got the coupon on Sunday morning for the free Ritz or Newtons and received the Newtons for free. When I came ther were only 2 left and I got one.So if you want to get a free product in CVS you should go  Sunday.Love CVS!

      • Mrscori2006

Not in my area. The truck comes on Mondays so by Sunday they are out of everything…even the sales that start on that day. It depends on when the truck comes in your area. And most drugstores only get one truck a week.

    • BrookeCollins328

My husband went with me to CVS yesterday, so with his card and mine we got 2 boxes FREE.

      • MRS D

CVS allows one CVS card per household so unless you and your husband live separately, ya’ll are part of the reason no one else can get any.

    • Acws525

the cvs  in my area NC said to keep the coupon even though its gonna expire that they would have to honor it because they only had 2 of the ritz crakerfuls and 1 box of the fruit thins in stock when the special started. so only 3 lucky people got the deal sunday at my store.

      • Judy

This is a good example of the shelf being empty and hoarders getting the wrap for it.  When in fact alot of the time CVS only has a feww the start with, because The store doesn’t know when corp. is doing these free things.

    • Janice

Just a thought- I have a CVS next to my Kroger (read that Sunday store), and then they built a CVS next to my Publix (read that Wednesday store). I’ve discovered that almost consistently they are out of things on Sunday, but are generally restocked on Wednesday morning. I was also told a truck comes in on (late) Wednesday, and that first thing Thursday is actually best for my area. However, I only have a small amount of time for deal chasing, so I usually cut my losses and move on. Ask your store the best days to come in- it might lower your frustrations!

    • Bwaustin

Last week I got a free coupon for a candy bar up to .79.  The candy bar cost 1.19 so it cost me .40 cents.

      • Lesliebrookecasey

They took off .79 and then .40 at my store, so I got it for free.

      • Rose Crowder

My store did the same thing and the lady at the register said she didn’t know why it said Free because it clearly stated on the coupon upto .79.

        • judi

You have to make sure your buying the correct size and the correct price.  I had the $1.19 milky way but when I saw the dove for .79 cents and it was indeed the right size, I went with the dove to avoid paying the .40 cents.  I would not buy a candy bar for .40 cents thats too high. lol

      • The reason why is because the “caramel” variety was on sale for $0.79, so that is the one that was supposed to be free – however some cashiers/managers were allowing customers to pick whatever flavor they wanted and either give them the candy free or taking $0.79 off the price of $1.19.

      • jan

Mine were $1.19, but when they swiped my CVS card (EB) it went down to $.79!

    • Karen_blalock

I swiped my card today and got the free newtons thins coupon AND a free pack of jumbo size huggies up to $11.99. This was awesome because the huggies also have $1 ECB attached to them this week!

      • wow I will try again tomorrow.  Need the huggies for grandson!!!  But did get my free crackerfuls.  A great hit in this home!

      • Facebook User

When I did my couponing Saturday, I got my Free Huggies from the coupon machine and I totally did not get my $1 ECB! I was kind of let down about it. I don’t know if it was because it was a “free item” or what.

    • Anonymous

I’ve heard various people around this site and in CVS talking about getting a $5 off $25 “sent to their card”. How did you get that coupon sent to your card? Thanks so much!

      • Walkbyfaith11 1

check your email. They periodically will send an offer that allows you to either print a coupon or click a button to “load” it to your card.

      • Mvtdeals

you have to register you CVS card on their website to get periodic coupons to registered email

    • Mdarrin83

There free coupons for these items but i went to 5 CVS and no one has any in stock.

    • zebby

I read someone’s post about the free newtons or crackerfuls yesterday before I went to cvs.  I had coupons that came in the mail a few days ago for those items, so I took them with me.  I was able to use a 1 dollar off fruit newtons with the free coupon since one was a store Q and the other was a manufacturer Q, making it a moneymaker.  Thanks for the post!

      • zebby

I also got a 1.50 off any kotex u item of your choice from the coupon center.  If you combine this with a dollar off manufacturer Q and get the liners for 1.49, this is also a moneymaker

    • Maryannscraps

I got the coupon for a free Dove Chocolate Bar!  Yummy!

    • Kjt8305

My CVS was out of the products on the coupon so offered me $2.50 off any other snack item on the shelf. I got a free box of Wheatthins.

    • Anonymous

The store didn’t carry any Crackerfuls, turns out they order all their product on Thursday then the company lets them know their giving away a product on Friday so they’re not prepared. So they said they will let me pick out any other snack item for free, so I got some Oreo cookies. They were $2.19 and the coupon too $2.50 off! At my store they’re also giving away Take 5’s to advertise about calling in and taking a short survey to see how well they’re doing.

    • Lorifbailey

It’s funny how dissimiliar the CVS’s can be, mine was out of both the crackerfuls and the thins, and would not substitute anything for them :(

      • TLF

The High Springs, Florida, CVS was out of everything and would not substitute,  as well.

      • Dk_wilder

You should tell the manager to substitute.  There was an email to do so.  The demand was higher than anticipated.  We do at our store.

    • TB

I got the free crackers at a 24hr CVS on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Plenty in stock. I also learned the sales schedule of the 24 hour store on Saturday/Sunday. I think I found a new store!!!!!

    • Mel

I got the Free Ritz Crackerful 6oz. or Newton Thins 10.5oz.  That was my first time using the coupon machine.

    • TLF

The CVS in Lake City,  FL,  around the corner from the Hospice of the Nature Coast offices,  is a great store.  The manager substituted other products for the free Newtown Thins which were sold out,  and once the substitution products were sold out,  turned the “free” coupon into a raincheck.

    • Stacey

$1 off a bag of Kit Kats, so it made the bag $1.

    • Freetobemelois

I would like to make a comment on the “FREE” Items from the Coupon Center. The reason that your CVS store runs out “FREE” product is…Customers come in with more than one card and hoard all the free items…Please be courteous of others and take only one deal per household… other customers do not understand why they can’t get a “FREE” box  of crackers when the customer in front of them just got 6 “FREE” boxes. The free items are meant as a marketing device to get you the consumer to try new products.  Please remember this the next time you get something “FREE”.

      • Mom_4_Him

This comment is not true.  My husband and I have different cards; however, we do not always get the same “magic coupons.”  A few weeks ago, his card printed 3 “Free” coupons, and mine only printed 1 of those coupons and no other “free” coupons.  I think it depends on the amount of purchases you make using your card.

        • Jjonlineoffers

The comment above is true, you just had a different experience.  There are plenty of people who apply for multiple cards specifically to get around restrictions of one item per household.  And you are correct, what coupons you can depend on what you purchase in many cases, but not all.  For example, I never get diaper coupons talked about out here since I don’t have a baby, which is reasonable.  It is the hoarders and people deliberately abusing the system that the person above is commenting on, and there point should be well taken.

          • Anonymous

That stupid show gives us couponers a bad wrap, not all of us are like this. I have on 1 occasion after 5 days of sale cleared what was “left” of some hand soap which is still on sale, and boy did someone on here give me a bashing for it no matter how much I explained. I’m not like that dumb show, just happen to get in on one deal, haven’t done it since either,I’m on a budget I don’t have the money to “buy it all” so I hope that show, changes and I honestly think it’s set up most of the transactions!

        • Dk_wilder

The “magic coupons” are not the same for everyone; however, there are monthly coupons that print from the coupon center.

        • Freetobemelois

This comment is true because I work at a CVS and know how many customers come in with coupons and what they do with them. As for the stocking part…that mechandise is forced out to the stores… the store has no control over the ordering. The skinny cows that they were giving away about a month ago we just got them back in after ordering them weel after week. I actually loved to see me customers get free merchandise and I assist them in learning how to use coupons and to use the coupon center. But there are customers that abuse the system…just saying.  Most coupons are based on what you buy in the past or after you develop a pattern of shopping.

        • Nita Royal

I thought the policy was “one card per household”.  So unless you and your husband live apart, isn’t that still cheating the system?

      • Anonymous

I guess I’m lucky to have found two CVS stores (within a mile of one another) that appreciates coupon shoppers and keeps good stock and/or allows substitutions.  I work about 25 miles from home and I pass 4 CVS stores on the way home each afternoon.  Two are great and the other two are always out of all the good deals.  And I usually shop on Mondays.

      • Dk_wilder

First of all, they could not have received six coupons on the same visit.  And the store should not have allowed them to get six free boxes.  I would bring that up with the store manager.

        • Freetobemelois

Customers are getting smart and saying they have lost their card then get a new cards in other peoples name. It’s not all customers by no means, but there are plenty that the husband and wife come in and each get a deal…just saying if only one deal per household then the stores would not run out as fast.

        • Phatpatswife

As Freetobemelois stated customers have more then one card when they aren’t suppose to. We the employees can’t very well stand there and argue with a customer over whether or not they should have more then one card. That is not something left to us at the store level. And to be honest, if we did, they would just call corporate and we’d end up getting in trouble, whether we were right or not!

    • i got a free milky way

    • Mrscori2006

I got the coupon and my CVS was out of stock (of course, that didn’t surprise me.) They did offer to substitute, but I would like to try the actual product…I like how they think a box of CVS brand is comparable. So I made them write me a rain check.

      • Anonymous

They do not have to write a rain check for free coupons like this. Just be happy they did give you the rain check.

    • Brandy

I would really like it if other couponers of Simpsonville would be more courteous and stop clearing out the shelves. Coupon etiquette?

    • Dublrotn

I love the cvs closest to my house (central texas) the manager goes out of her way to accomidate the couponers!… she make sure she has plenty of stock for the ads and she even does private coupon shopping on sunday before hours… she is awsome

      • That sounds great! Where in Central Texas? I’m in San Antonio and have friends and family all over!

    • Anonymous

Private? Wish ours did ,but like our Kroger’s HATES us couponers!

    • Phatpatswife

Just to let everyone know. These coupons are causing a huge uproar (just like every other free coupon) and corporate has sent an email out to each store that we are not to give raincheck but to substitute for either Wheat things or Triscuits.

The rainchecks aren’t working because just like the hershey air delights from a few months ago, the warehouse gets wiped out of this merchandise and it takes forever for this stuff to come back in. And then people come in every week wanting that item and there is nothing we can do at the store level.

And as another cvs employee posted on here already, the reason for this is because of people with multiple cards. If one household took at advantage of this coupon, like it should be, more people would get them merchandise and the severity of the wipe outs in stores wouldn’t be so bad. Courtsey goes a long way!

i went to 3 CVS stores by me and they were all out, I asked an employee how I could handle this because the coupons was only good for 2 days. He stated that they were expecting a truck with the crackerfuls on Friday and he changed the date to Friday and signed it saying they would except it then. I thought that was nice.

    • I went to CVS yesterday and no “free” coupons for me! Very sad. Was this one of the times where you had to go on a specific day or something?

Lats week I got a coupon for a free candy up to .79.This week I got $5 off $25 purchase

    • Julie

I got the free candy, and yesterday a $1 off 5 bags of candy.  The Reece’s and KitKats are 5/$10 this week, plus the $1.00 off magic machine coupon, and the $1/3 bags in my paper…it brought each bag from $4.69/each to $1.58/each when I purchased 12 bags.  (This is to start stocking up for the trick or treaters.)

Any other advice on candy stock up prices would be helpful…I don’t buy a lot of candy normally, but I would like to spend less than last year(before couponing) on candy.  We have a very popular neighborhood.

    • I just received an email from CVS with a coupon for 25% of my entire purchase now through 9/19/2011.

I love those, but does yours also say excluding sale items and a bunch of other stuff.

CVS will not take the printable coupon is this true? because you can print them from their web site but can’t used them in their store.

      • Julie

Mine says in store or online.  When I link, there is a place to print an in store coupon.  I think it’s maybe either/or.

We never seem to get any of these good ones, it is usually for something that we never use , or they are out of the ones we are hoping for… thanks….

I got the free crackers and they are delicious! It was my first time trying them, and I’ll be sure to watch out for more coupons/sales for them!

I have just started couponing and I could sure use some help.  For example, when I am trying to print the PRINTABLE coupons for a given store, do I have to print out each one separately or is there some way to print out all of the coupons that I have checked (selected) from the store?

    • Rlewis22

I am new to couponing and can use some help.  Is there a way to print out all of the PRINTABLE coupons from a given store  at one time or does each one have to be printed individually?  (Please tell me there is a way to print them at one time!)
