As you enter a CVS store, your first mission should always be to find the “Coupon Center” in the store.  It’s really a giant sized price scanner but it prints coupons out too.  Scan your CVS card at the center, and 2-3 coupons will print out the side.  Step back for a few seconds until the screen clears and scan your card again to get another 2 coupons.

Now armed with 5 new store coupons your plans may change on what you thought you were going to buy.

This was the case for me this week.  I went on Sunday to get the awesome Huggies Diaper deal, went to the coupon center and all of a sudden I was off planning another transaction.  Everyone this week is getting a $3 off $10 Grocery Purchase store coupon.  The trick is, you only have one day to use it.

Here are a few deal ideas if you get the coupon and draw a blank.

My Scenario::

Buy:
(1) Snickers King Size $1
(1) Bottled Water 24 pk $3.19
(1) Cheez-It Bonus Pack $5.99
Use:
-$3 off $10 purchase
-.75/1 Snickers King Size (printed at the coupon center also)
-$4 ECB (from a previous transaction)
Total Due: $2.43
Get Back: $3 ECB (from Cheez-It’s)

I needed the water so in the end I got the cheez-it’s for free basically and only paid the price of the water.

Scenario Idea #2 (from Sean via email)::

Buy:
(4) Sobe LifeWater Drinks B1G1 at $1.59
(1) Cheerios Bonus Pack $7.99
Use:
-$3 off $10 purchase
(2) B1G1 Sobe printable
(1) .75/1 off Cheerios printable
Total Due: $4.24 (pay with ECB if you have them)
Get Back: $4 ECB (from Cheerios)

Scenario Idea #3 (from Rebecca via email)::

Buy:
(1) GoodStart Formula
(2) Gerber Baby Cereals $2.50
Use:
-$4 off $20 (if you have one)
– $3/$10 Grocery
-$5 Good Start Formula Check (these are mailed to you)
-.55/2 Gerber home mailer
Total Due:  $12.45
Get Back: $10 ECB
FINAL COST = $2.45 for Formula!!!

Another coupon many of you are getting is $3 off any “Seen on TV” product.  Look for Aqua Globes and you’ve got a Freebie!!
