Make sure to scan your CVS card at the kiosk, too! I got a coupon for $2 ECB when you buy $6 in body washes! Thankfully this made me use the BOGO body wash coupon & I got $8 ECB in return! :)

    • kermnelmo

I should know this, but I've never dealt with it before… what happens if I lose my ECB's ? The physical receipt is gone. I cannot find it anywhere and they expire tomorrow. They aren't printable, but they are listed online. I've called the help desk but they're not available til tomorrow. I have a $4 store coupon that expires today. UGH !!!! Please help I'm seriously stressing. lol.

      • Ash

hmmm….maybe you could go in and ask for a manager? They are linked to your card so they should be able to recover them. I've never had to do this but I know that I've heard of it being done before. Good luck!

      • Fairie

Print the whole page where they are listed & take it with you. If you have a good mgr, they will work with you. :)

      • pharmSCgirl

I had the cashier tell me tonight that they can no longer take expired ECBs and told me to call the 1-800 # and they can issue me another ECB if that one's expired. I know that didn't help you tonight, but maybe it will in the future. They also said that a girl got fired b/c she put an ECB through that was just 1 day expired. They are cracking down!

        • Kristypeavy

WOW! I cannot believe someone got fired for taking a 1 day expired ECB..I mean the most I have ever gotten for an ECB is $10…REALLY? BTW…don't you think, even though we are getting great deals, that Wags and CVS is raking in the money from all of us racing in the places on Sunday mornings to get the great deals and usually picking up a few other things that we need for the week as well??? I try and rack up at these two places before I hit any other stores..Just a thought???

    • Saeweardsmith

I may be thinking wrong..but can you use 2 BOGO Q's and get 2 free (so total of 4) and get back $8 ECB…and on top of that can you use a Q that is 1.00/2 for the ones that are not free?

So it breaks down…. my scenerio
Buy 4 Old Spice BW 4.00 each
      Use 2 BOGO Q's
      -1.00/2 BW 4

Total due $7.00 before any Prior ECB

      • Saeweardsmith

Oh…and of course get $8.00 back ECB

        • Ashley

Yes, you can do that :)

          • Saeweardsmith

Thanks….I just had to let someone else make sure that I wasnt crazy!! Thanks!

      • amy guberman

I am looking at the CVS add right now and for the gillette body wash it says limit 1. Any idea how we're supposed to get 8 in ECB's when the limit is one? I mean it's still great we get two bottles of soap for free, but double ecb's?

        • SweetDenia

I got 2 of the Old Spices last night. It said on the sale tag on the shelf that there was a limit of one, but I got $8 in ECB's at the register. So go for it! ;-)

        • Saeweardsmith

I know it says that but when she went in it was a limit of 2!!! So I assume a mis-print in the paper!!! Great for us!!!

    • Alisha

I was taken by surprise when this occurred today at CVS!!! It was a great little CVS surprise that occurred!!!:) I went into CVS expecting to only get back $4 in ECB's but wound up getting back $8 in ECB's. I did two separate transactions/my card and my boyfriends card and used BOGO coupons in both.

    • mj

At WAGS: I purchased the Nivea men's body wash with the ORANGE writing on the label (maybe it was the “sport” scent?) and it was NOT bogo! So if you're searching for this deal, don't buy that one! Try the other scent. :)

      • Ana Maria S.

I tried it at my Wags in Asheville, NC (the body wash blue label one) and they didn't ring up BOGO for me…oh well I bought one anyway and did both razors & toothbrushes deals too. The Neutrogena bars were all gone though….

      • Frugalmomma

Did the blue label in Asheville too and they were not BOGO…my first time at WAGS and the cashier told me that I could do multiple transactions for the same item, but told me ” GIRL, I didnt tell you that!” If I were to do this can I use the RR (lets say the $6 Nivea RR and I did this 2 times and had $12 RR) in the same transaction or would I need to use them seperately?

      • Alissabeth

I read on another forum that it was the Active3 mens with light blue

    • MaryT

I also got back $8 ECB — I was buying 2 anyway (without having read this post!) because my coupon was the “save $4 off 2” for the Gillette Body Wash. Surprise, Surprise! when the $8 ECB showed up! I started my transaction with $10 ECB from last week and ended up with $10 ECB again! How great is that?!! In addition, I saved over $60 and only spent $19 — 75% savings plus the $10 ECB!!

    • Smaples23173

So funny cause I argued this morning with the cashier thinking I was not paying enough! She assured me that it was ok! The total and then the 8 ECB threw me way off–but in a good way! So excited going into next week with 14 ECB!

    • Krista_A

I went yesterday for the CVS ad and purchased the 2 Gillettes, but mine rang up for $3 each as was advertised with last week's sale so I got 2 for $3 and $8 back !!!

    • Mommy2alj

I took my 13 yr. old on her first coupon experience to Walgreens today. She has a summer job and wanted to purchase the Neutrogena Wave. I told her to wait until it went on sale and she could buy it. Well, she hit the jackpot today! She got the Neutrogena Wave $17.99 (25%off + $3 coupon), 30 Refill pack $7.99 (25% off + $3 coupon), plus Neturogena Acne System $25.99 (25% off + $5 coupon. She got over $50 in mechandise for $30, plus earned $10 RR which she promptly spent on some new covergirl eyeliner (with $1 coupon) and Diva Nail (with $2 coupon). I think she's hooked!!!

    • elizabeth

When I arrived at CVS today, I scanned my card and got a $2 off any $6 or more body wash purchase CVS coupon. So….after combining that w/my BOGO…

I got the Fusion Razor, the Hydro 5 razor, two gillette body washes, and a cover girl lipgloss…and they PAID me two dollars and 15 cents! I <3 CVS!!!!

    • Shirley

Nice, gratz to those who got the Neutrogena coupons with their SS, mine didn't have it. Still, today was the first time my Wags run have been almost perfect, so I am very zen right now ;D

    • Gabi

I have a B1G1 coupon for Nivea Body wash for women. Will Walgreens let me use that to make both free before RR? I normally don't shop at Walgreens, but this deal seems too good to pass up.

      • Julie

Yes…it will make it free. I did this the other week but there was no RRs then.

      • Sean

The RR is only the Nivea for men. I'm not sure if the Nivea for women is ringing up B1G1 though. If it is then that make 2 free anyway.

    • Brooke

Anyone know if the Nivea Men's body was is ringing up B1G1 in Greenville/Simpsonville??

    • mendy

I did ALL these deals today successfully! I also bought 3 neutrogena lip balm with spf 15 at Walgreens and it generated a 10RR!

      • Ginger

How much was the lip balm?

    • Phillis

I did the Nivea Deal at Walgreen's paid $1 cash and got back a $6 RR. They were even nice enough to let me do this twice. Thanks Jenny for the heads up on this deal!

    • Julie

Nice! I was going to use the B1G1 coupon for the Gillette anyway so this worked out perfectly! I ended up with $10 ECB after my 1st transaction instead of the $6 I'd planned on, and I flipped that onto a razor, some makeup, and bleach. Still got another $7 ECB and plotting a 3rd trip this week.

    • theeg

I did cvs and walgreens, paid $35.95 including taxes, total worth of products bought were $261.75 and I got $10RR and $17ECBs back!!!! The cosmetic cashier told me to repeat and repeat my transaction, that way I'm helping her making qouta and she's helping me with more deals. She said, it's a win win situation!!

      • Ginger

That's funny! I really wish I had your cosmetics cashier. :)

    • Arbyrd

      I have a question…..If I am buying 2 products (e.g., 2 Gillette body washes), can I use another coupon in addition to a B1G1? Like a $2 off?

      • Bhflood

Yes- the free from the B1G1 applies to the second product, the $2 off would apply to the first product.

      • sarahcas

Yep! I did this earlier with the gillette body wash and didn't have any problems. It made it a $6 money maker which was exciting!

        • Arbyrd

Thanks- that is a great deal!

      • Carmen

so i can use my B1G1 Gillette Q and a $4 off Gillette Q together?

      • Gina4ever0

If it's a CVS or Walgreens coupon or ECB you should be able to. You may have to use a filler though.

    • Bhflood

Was able to do the Gillete Profusion twice at CVS. After I did it once it said it was still available so I went back and tried it- $5 more bucks in ECB's. I used the first $5 ECB's and a $5Q so it was .99 plus tax.

      • Kcreviews

How do you know it was still available? Is that what it means when it does NOT say *offer limit reached but instead Quantity Needed to Earn Reward?

        • Sean

          You've got it.

    • Dianne

I haven't picked up my papers yet from my friend who got them so I can't look through them myself right now, but was this Neutrogena coupon a surprise? I don't see it listed in the insert preview Jenny posted a few days ago.

    • zackattack

Does anyone know if Nivea is ringing up B1G1 in Loganville or Grayson GA, at Walgreens?

    • BROOKE99

Did coupons work on Neutrogena Bar Soaps ?

      • Aklholl

Did for me in Tupelo MS. Nivea did not ring up B1G1 though.

        • Lorelei207

was the coupon that worked the $1 off neutrogena facial cleanser? that is the only coupon in my paper that sounds half-way like it might work. thanks!

          • Ginger

That was the one I used.

    • Gjh Coupons

Isn't it cheating to use a coupon when an item is free? Seems to be another coupon abuse situation to me.

      • Jimmyje

Why? Walgreens gets reimbursed. That's not coupon “abuse”

        • Gjh Coupons

I will check with the store managers where I shop here is south Dallas. Why should I get money off when I am already getting an item free?

          • Lucy

Wow. Maybe we shouldn't be using coupons at all because it's not fair :) LOL

            • Gina4ever0

LOL Oh my.. What good would coupons be if we didn't use them?

          • You're more than welcome to check. You can also check the coupon policies posted on this site. Because you are purchasing BOTH B1G1 items, you can use 2 coupons. If you weren't purchasing them both, you would not be able to use 2 coupons. (Of course, if you weren't purchasing them both, you'd be shoplifting when you took the second one to your car with you, now wouldn't you?)

          • Ash

Trust me, there are scenarios on here (comments section) that I don't get how they work or how they're not coupon fraud either, but this is a scenario that I can wrap my brain around. In fact I did a similar transaction last night at Publix. Bought an Olay Total Effects Body Wash, had a coupon for $4 off. I also had a coupon for free Ivory soap when you purchase Olay Total Effects Body Wash. So the $4 off coupon was for the body wash, and the free coupon was for the Ivory. I didn't use two coupons on the same item, I just happened to be able to use the second coupon b/c I had met it's conditions by purchasing the body wash.

            • JL

I did the same thing at Target. They put the coupons right next to each other in the PG so I am sure they are ok with us using them together. Coupons are part of their advetising budget and I would have never bought Olay body wash otherwise and now I love it and might buy it again(with a coupon of course). Olay now has a nwe customer and I have free soap. WIN WIN

          • jdfw

The logic behind using a B1G1 with another manufacturer's coupon is this: the B1G1 says that if you buy one of a product, you get another one free. It doesn't say that you must pay full price for that original one. It would be like buying two of a product that costs $4 each and you have a coupon for $4 off and another one for $1 off. That wouldn't be questionable, would it?

      • Michelle

Oh boy. Here we go again.

        • Gjh Coupons

Sounds like you must be an abuser. LOL

      • kimana517

You must be new. The store is still making the same amount they would be, it's just the coupon that's paying for the item instead of you. Totally legit.

        • Gjh Coupons

I am not new. I have been using coupons for several months. It just does not seem legit to get money off of a product that I am already getting free. Also to use more than one coupon for the same item does not seem right either. When I see posts for BOGO coupons and then using another coupon for money off the the one item being purchased – seems like that is taking advantage of the system. The BOGO coupon requires the purchase of one to get the other free. Why would anyone think they should be allowed to use another coupon to get money off of the purchased item?

          • kimana517

I'm sorry to assume you are a n00b; it was a typical n00b question. =o)

If it bothers you, then of course you shouldn't do it! But the fact is you can use one manufacturer coupon for each item purchased. That's every store's coupon policy. If they did not want you to use coupons on FAECB or FARR or FAR or BOGO items, they would not allow you to. Clearly they don't care, or they would stop it, like they do actual coupon fraud.

          • Ginger

You're not getting money off the product that you're already getting for free. You're getting money off the other product. The dollars-off coupon applies to the one you're paying for. The BOGO coupon just says that since you've already bought one, you can get another one for free. I must admit that I didn't get this concept for a while either, but it's written in to most corporate coupon policies, so obviously, they've given some thought to it.
Of course in the end, you should really follow your own moral compass, no matter what someone on a website says, right?

            • lynn8808

I've been confused about this for a while now! lol, but this is the closest I am to understanding it! Explained this way it makes sense to me, thanks Ginger!

          • Gina4ever0

It's ligit. It's not like you're getting actual cash back.. It's store credits and they allow it. Cheating is stealing and we don't do that. We are only doing what our stores allow because they want out buisness.

      • AngelaDH

I've double checked on this before at Rite Aid and it is ok. Maybe because the BOGO is more of a store sale (like a store coupon) type of thing vs manufacturer?

      • Gjh Coupons

Thank you for all of your responses. In the scenario presented it states there is a BOGO but is also stating to use 2 (two) $3.00 off coupons. So what the scenario is saying is use a $3.00 off coupon for the free item too (also). You cannot use 2 (two) coupons for the purchased item. That is what does not seem to be correct.

        • Ash

I get what you are saying…you are talking about true BOGO sales, like what Florida Publix stores have (first product rings up as full price, second product rings up as $0). I know Publix stores elsewhere as well have many other stores actually have their BOGO items both ring up half price, so instead of one being free they are technically half-off and thus you can use coupons on both items. It is a little confusing…perhaps they should call BOGO sales “Half-off” sales instead.

    • Christie

I would go see Eclipse. I can't wait to see that movie. I loved New Moon. My husband is even going to go with me. We hardly ever get to go anywhere alone; since we have 4 kids and noone to watch them. So excited!!

    • Stephanie

      Toy Story 3!

    • Holhare

I have a question. We did the neutrogena suncare deal and bought 2 neutrogena sunscreens which came to 20.00. We had a $3 off $15 suncare cvs coupon and a $5 off a $15 purchase. The cashier would not let us use both without our total being $30 or more. Is this right????

      • Jen

No, incorrect unless your $5 off a $15 purchase was actually a $5 off $30 purchase.

        • Ginger

No, that probably IS correct. At least, it should be. Typically, CVS' dollar-off coupons state that they can't be used in conjunction with any other dollar-off store coupon. If the OP checks checks the fine print at the bottom of the 3$ off 15 suncare, it probably says that.

      • Jrobbins519

Last week at CVS, I had the same Q's and did it for Coppertone. She let me use 3 off 15 suncare and 5 off 15 purchase and I had (2) $1 off Qs for the two sunscreens. (plus I had 5 ECB) I paid $6 OOP and got back 10 ECB. However, when she scanned the 5 off 15 the machine beeped and she manually entered something. So maybe she wasn't supposed to give it to me.

        • The register beeps on the 2 coupons. It will be up to the manager or cashier's discretion whether they want to manually key in the coupon – since the register will not take it. (It is 2 $ off/purchase, and the registers don't like it.)

          • Jen

You gals are lucky. My cashier told the guy in front of me that she relies on the cash register to tell her if it's acceptable or not. He was really upset, saying it truly depends on the cashier he gets. Now I see what he means! Poor guy. :(

        • kidsallgone

I gave the cashier the $3/$15 and the $3/$15 sncare, along w/my manufacture's coupons. The register beeped and the cashier said it probably didn't like me using those 2 cvs coupons. I looked kinda sad and she pushed them both thru. Don't know if it was wrong of her or not, but all the managers there usually bend over backwards for me! One even let me use a Target coupon for the Dove deoderant deal last week! GO CVS!!

          • sandraj

            samething happened to me.
            I love CVS.

      • Danielledenhollander

At the bottom of the coupon it says limit of one purchase-based coupon, ie. $4 off $20 purchase, per transaction. I think she was saying you could use both of your coupons for a purchase of $30 or more, by using them in TWO SEPARATE transactions.

    • i wish that the neutrogena deal was up here in gainesville ga. but the first time i heard about it on here i went to the store and could not find it. also i talked to a manager and they said it wasn't running at all that week! i was mad!

    • carmengbailey

don't forget to use the $2/$6 body wash CVS Q that was printing last week from the kiosk. that'll make 2 gillette/old spice bw $2 get $8 ECB! I was so excited today when I bought 2 and it printed $8 ECB!

      • Laratow

Was it a manufacture coupon or a cvs coupon? If it was a manufacture then the coupon links the two products together as one item therefore you would not be able to use the second manufacture coupon.

        • Lucy

You CAN use B1G1 and $1/1 coupons TOGETHER. I have done this dozens of times, it's totally legit. The $1/1 coupon goes on one item, and the BOGO coupon goes on the second item, so there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing that. Again, I have done this many, many times with lots of different items. I have never had problems, but I heard other people say that you have to give the cashier the $ off coupon first, and then the BOGO for the register not to beep. Hope it helps… and yea, I meet these cashiers too. Just find a different one. (I LOVE my CVS but one time I walked it, tried to use coupons, and the new gal – it was her 1st day – said that if I use coupons, no ECBs would print. I argued and argued with her, that I've used coupons and got ECBs for months now.. in the end, I used the coupons and still got the ECBs and she looked totally stupid LOL)

          • I never have problems with CVS…its WAGS that I have this problem with. Its the cashiers!!! I even wrote corporate on one of the cashiers!!! They called me and I explained the situation, all they did was apologize and to this day she still gives ppl a hard time about Q's!!! Waste of time!! I use the BOGO Q's and the $ off all the time as well. They will scan through, it just seems like these cashiers get so mad when you save money…whats up with that?

      • sandraj

some cashiers just don't know how to do math. Sad I know.

    • kidsallgone

Well being the great CVS shopper that I am, I went to my favorite CVS store Saturday around 4pm, knowing that I could get that week's prices, as well as the prices for the ad starting the next day. They usually have all the signs down by then, and are putting up the signs that start on Sunday. It's a little confusing, but I was prepared to be confused. LOL! When I got there, my favorite manager was there and I asked him if he could give me the new ad that started the next day. At first he was hesitant, but then he said, “I don't see why not…we already have the signs up!” So I got to walk around with my old AND new ad! So this is what I bought:
3 General Mills cereals 3 for $10.00 (new ad)
1 Clairol Hair color $5.97 (current ad)
      2 Gillete Body washes $4.00 x 2 = $8.00 (new ad)
3 x $.33 caramels by the cash register (gave them to the cashier)
      $3 off $15 CVS coupon
      $1 off Clairol man coupon
      3 X $.75 Fiber One coupons
      BOGO for Gillette (-$4)
Used some ECBs and then paid $.14!!!
Got back $1.00 (for using my green tag), and $4 for Gillete, and I forget…maybe $5 for the cereal?
***At first my $4 ECB for the Gillette didn't print, so he printed one out. He said that sometimes happens when it's on sale that same week w/out the ECBs attached. I was happy…til I got home and saw that people were ecstatic that they were getting $8.00 ECBs for 2 Gillette!! GEEZ!!! LOL!!
So I'm going back this week and going to try to do another BOGO coupon with $1 off on my husband's card and see if I get the $8. Hope so. That would be awesome! I think I'll also try to use my same card again on mine and see if I can get another $4 ECB and use a BOGO and $1 off. I can't wait to make little baskets with deoderants, body washes, and toothepaste for the holidays for my relatives. Any extras and I will make baskets and bring to the homeless shelter. I get excited when I get the freebies. I feel guilty sometimes, but my favorite managers said not to ever feel that way. Said they get reimbursed and it was perfectly legit to be using my coupons and getting freebies. So I'm a happy camper.

    • kidsallgone

OK. I'm trying to be “legit” and have a question:
I bought 2 Coppertone SPRAY sunscreens last week for $10.49 x 2 = $21 and got $10 in ECBs. They were for my hubby. However after looking at them and reading the directions, etc, he has decided that he doesn't want the ones that spray. How would I go about exchanging them for just the lotion in the tubes (Coppertone also). I actually have already used the $10 ECBs because I bought milk and few other grocery items (and didn't use coupons LOL). Please advise on what to do. I'd also like to return the diabetic meter because I have called around and can't find a place to donate it to! And no one I know needs one. I also got ECBs with that purchase. I'd be willing to give them the amount of the ECBs. I'm not trying to scam them. I believe I have both receipts (meter was bought last month I think). Thanks for any advice on this.

        Replying to my own post…LOL!!
Forgot to ad that I'm in Charleston (in case someone can tell me a place to donate the meter). Thanks :)

        • to the sunscreen, they shuold just let you swap them out, provided they are unopened.

For the meter, there are lots of places that accept those sorts of donations! Look into battered women's shelters, homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers, even local veterenarians and the animal shelter (cats and dogs can get diabetes too!). I donated mine to my midwifery group- they run a clinic in a low income area, and they have many women who get gestational diabetes while pregnant and cannot afford the meters and strips desperately need them. They were THRILLED!

Hope this gives you some ideas!

          • You can also go here: (remove the spaces)
            portal . hud . gov/ portal /page /portal /HUD/ states

and select your state to find shelters/centers in your area to call.

          • kidsallgone

WOW! You'd think with all those suggestions I could've at least thought of one on my own! LOL! Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated!

        • irisfaith

You can always take items for donation to the post office. 'Stamp Out Hunger' last month was just to raise awareness for a program that is always running. During the promotion, I called to ask if personal items could be donated along with the food, and was told that those are also needed.
If you have a good relationship with your mail carrier, you might ask if you can put out a bag for donation (instead of driving it to the post office). My carrier will take donations any time that I can catch her.

          • Tiffany

Does anyone know if you can write off stuff you donate for a tax write-off?

            • Ginger

I'm no tax expert or anything, but I think you can only write off what you actually paid…

          • kidsallgone

            Thanks for the info!

      • Ginger

I love BrandyK's advice about the vet and the women's clinic. When I had gestational diabetes I was in a class with several young women for whom buying their meter was a hardship. (Also had a diabetic cat once, so I think the veterinarian is an awesome idea.)
One other thought, have you asked a school nurse? Our elementary school is in an extremely low-income area, and my son's school nurse said they frequently know of kids who need a meter whose parents can't afford one, so they were THRILLED to take my meters, and will give them out whenever they find out about a kid who needs one.

          Awesome! Thanks!!

        e-mail: rmakhuli@eip.sc.gov

This is the email of a person from Prevention Partners who is coordinating a Diabetes University – “Be Healthy and Live Life” at Burke HS on July 17. Maybe they would be interested in the meter.

    • My Walgreens in Virginia will no longer accept internet printed coupons! They have enforced it the last two weeks and the cashiers didn't know how long the ban would last. No more Walgreens for me!

      • Anonymous

So many people are using fake internet coupons that they had to stop taking them. Leave it to a few to mess it up for everyone.

    • dannysangel

Mine in Cordele will accept MFG coupons but you can't “stack” coupons. I wanted to use 2 -1.50 mfg coupons on s bags of Planters nuts plus use my 2 RR of -1.00. The girl told me that you have to have 1 item per coupon so I had to buy 2 more items for the register to “allow” me to use them all.. What's the point? If I buy 2 more I won't be saving..

      • Jen

Angel, couple ways to get around that:
        1) Do you have any $X off 2 items? It covers both, but it's still only one coupon.
        2) Do you have a coupon for everything? If not, and if financially worth it, add that one item to your deal.
        3) Add something they have on sale. Look thru their ads. They always have stuff around 50 cents. That's why the bigger RRs are very nice! You can purchase several things together and get back several RRs. Examples of filler items: Arizona Tea or toilet paper @ 50 cents. I'd LOVE to know something for only 10 cents, but the only time I've done that was after a holiday. Those little candy treats get way cheap, like 5 or 10 cents. Add one, and you've got your extra item!
        Does this help?

*PS Remember in-ad coupons don't count as added coupons.

      • Kristy

This happened to me before as well. I am still learning but I had a coupon for each item, then tried to use my RR and it wouldn't take it. This is how I learned how to throw in something cheap. If I am correct this is what Southern Savers is referring to when a “filler” item is added to a transaction.

    • JL

Question??? The ad sauys limit 1 on the Gilette/old spice ECB. Anyone try this yet and get $8 in ECB?

      • Asmith

        yes it works

      • TW

In Columbia, SC, I was able to purchase 2 Gillette bodywashes at CVS. I used a bigif coupon and received 8.00 in ECB.

      • Deborah

YES!! I was also able to use a coupon for free deodorant wyb body wash and a coupon for free body spray wyb 2 body wash and a $1 off coupon off any 2 body wash or deodorant too that came in the same flyer!!!! So I got 2 body wash, 1 deodorant and 1 body spray for $3 and got $8 ECB!!!

      • Whynottryit76

did not work for me only got 4.00 ECB

      • Susiedunham

I had a B1G1 coupon, so I got 2 old spice body washes. To my surprise, I got $8 in ECB when I checked out. I did this right after church on Sunday. It may have been fixed by now.

    • Gina4ever0

I bought a nicotine gum and got a 8.00 off any cover-girl product.

    • jerriducker

the nivea is not ringing up in charleston for b1g1. sorry

    • Tstralow

I did get $8 ECB's when I bought two last night, it was a nice suprise. And I got the CVS body wash coupon when I scanned my extracare card at the kisok when I walked in.

      • Heidi

Tell me about scanning your extracare card at the kiosk when you walked into CVS? I've never heard of that. Thanks!

        • Ash

Hi Heidi, I'll jump in here and answer your question. Towards the front of every CVS store is a red machine. This machine is used as a price scanner for customers to check the prices of products, and it also gives out coupons when you scan your Extra Care card! A lot of times it's $1 off a certain category of CVS brand products (paper, cosmetics, hair, etc.). I usually use them on a travel size CVS item to get it for free. It also occasionally will give you $4/$20 or $5/$30 types of coupons (the $20 or $30 would be before coupons, so you'd want to hand these the the cashier first). The coupon machine makes CVS shopping even more fun! Hope this helps!

      • kidsallgone

I just needed to tell someone that I took my mom to the CVS near where she lives today so she could get a prescription filled. Not only did I not shop for any bargains, BUT I FORGOT TO SCAN MY CARD at the red machine!! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! OK…confession time over. LOL!

    • Emily C.

I went to 6 different walgreens this morning and they were all sold out of the neutrogena bar soaps. I wasnt quick enough. How off do they get shipments in.

      • RebeccaFer

The Neutrogena deal is a month long deal so people were buying these earlier and they are not restocking since it is a MM even w/o qs. :(

      • WynetteC

I also was disappointed when my Walgreens was out of the Neutrogena soap which I had planned to get and put in a Father's Day gift basket for my Dad since he loves that soap. The cosmetic cashier told me she has had a hard time keeping that particular item in stock on the shelf just because it is in high demand regardless of any coupon deals or register rewards. I think she said the shipments are never her full request either.

    • Adela

      Dear Coupon Friends:

When I walk into Walgreen and try to buy products with coupons for free or at a reduced rate, I feel like I am in the Twillight Zone. Does anyone else feel like this?

Now, please note, I have completed transactions at this Lake Placid, Florida Store before with one of the other Managers without any issues. Today, however; I was attended by another Manager, so I thought ok, how lucky am I, I do not have to deal with a cashier who always seems nervous about taking any coupons. So I give this Manager my Rain Check for BOGO on any Niva Men Wash product, price for each was $4.99 during this past particular sale. I also had two MQ for $3.00 off each product. So I am confident–FREE products with in Store BOGO + MQ Right! Well, WRONG, this Manager tells me there would be an overage if I use both coupons, so he says can only use one of the $3.00 coupons, which would leave me with an OOP of $1.99 plus tax. So I tell him no problem, I will just use a filler item and pay any overage or tax, etc. He said, “no overage can be used for any product except for NIVA products-manufacturing policy says he”. Now, please note, he is a very nice young man and we only have ONE Walgreen and ONE CVS in this very small town, and I know both of these Managers and so I do not want to tell this one that the other Manager has a different policy that he applied to me just last week for another BOGO deal for this same product.

To make a long story short, I wish WALGREEN CORPORATION would read this comment and get their ACT TOGETHER! WALGREEN, yes you!!– EVER HEARD OF CVS, RITE AID, and WALMART!!

It is VERY fustrating to have different policies at different Walgreen locations, but to have two different sets of rules within the same store is just the pits. Guess I will just have to get the working schedule of the Manager that allows me to use two MQ when there is a BOGO offer. LOL! Any Ideas would be welcomed, SIGNED FUSTRATED IN CENTRAL FLORIDA.

      • Kristy

Wow. I feel your frustration. I live in central GA & we have several Walgreen stores within an easy driving area. I have learned the ones to avoid and the ones that actually try and help you get the deal. A similar thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago with a buy $15 of Suave, Vaseline, etc. & get $5 RR. It worked perfectly at one Walgreens using the MQ on products however when I tried it again at another Wags it did not work, RR would not print. The cashier tried to tell me it was because I had used coupons and it had to be $15 before coupons. My immediate response was to argue but decided I would just go to a more helpful Walgreens instead of trying to teach an employee the store coupon policy and how the RR worked. Good luck in the future.

    • Adela

      Dear Coupon Friends:

UPDATE: I called Walgreen Corporate, just now, to get the correct policy on BOGO and MQ, Denise at Walgreen Corp., phone number 1-800-925-4733,. Said that,” When a product is BOGO I would only be allowed to use ONE manufacturer's coupon for the item I was PAYING for, and would not be able to use a manufacturer's coupon for the item that was FREE.

      • I just don't like the WAGS in my area – the sale tags are never up, so you don't know until you check out if you have the correct product.

I'd ask them to mail or email you their coupon policy, personally – sometimes people's understanding of the facts get in their way of the facts.

    • Peggyhumphrey

      Yikes to Walgreens!!!!

Three weeks ago there was a sale on Off Clip Ons. Orig 7.99, but if I used (2) $-1 Store coupon(one per item), and (1) $-2 MQ, and (1) BOGO I should have paid $3.99 for 2 of them. I tried to hand the cashier the coupons in the right order and she messed them all up, so then she had to call over a manager over who still couldn't figure out how to use all of the coupons in the correct order to make the transaction go through. Finally she said that I could only use 1 MQ, so choose witch one I wanted to use the BOGO or the -$2, and I could only use 1 store Coupon b/c one was free. I ended up paying $8 for both of them once taxes were included back in. I scratched my head as I walked out of there wondering how in the world that happened. Needless to say, I returned the items the following day, and I will never go back to walgreens untill they get their act together with an official coupon policy. I don't have time to waiste on their negligence.

    • J & T

For some reason when buying the body wash at CVS we did not get the $8 extra care bucks for doing the b1g1 free. We only received $4 extra care bucks even though we got two body washes. Any ideas or advice?????

      • It was a miscoding – the limit (as stated in the ad) should be 1. It may have been fixed by now – If they let it go all week they might not get reimbursed for the coupons by the manufacturer.

    • Melissa

MY WAGS has been out of the bars since about last Monday, so I went with the liquid pump facial cleanser (daugher is not too picky about face wash ;o). They were on sale for $4.71 – bought 3 and used 3 $1 off coupons so they were $3.71 each ($11.13) – and got back the $10 – so $1.13 for 3 facial washes – happy Mom/ happy daughter!

    • Fitebrown

I live in California. I was super excited about the body wash deal, but unfortunately it was not on sale at our CVS here :( anyway, thank you so much Southern Savers, it sure has helped me organize some great deals!you guys are really lucky. Out here in San Diego, we CAN NOT use 2 coupons on BOGO sales. When my friend out in TN told me she could, I thought she just didn't know what she was talking about. I even called to check out there. lol, i was told it depends on the manager….. Happy savings!

      • Ginger

I'm in the Los Angeles area, and just discovered the same thing– no body wash deal here either! That's the first time this has happened with CVS for me. It happens with Wags sometimes. Anyhoo. Check with a couple of your CVS on the BOGO thing- for me, it literally depends on which cashier you get.

    • newtothis

my first time at WAGS and the cashier told me that I could do multiple transactions for the same item, but told me ” GIRL, I didnt tell you that!” If I were to do this can I use the RR (lets say the $6 Nivea RR and I did this 2 times and had $12 RR) in the same transaction or would I need to use them seperately?

    • Swright953

Just went to clip the Neutroggena coupons and give Wags another shot and noticed that there was a $10 rebate with the ad…www.neutrogena.com/rebate. You have to purchase $30 between 6/6 and 7/4 but it may be worth it for some…

    • gidget

I bought 2 Old Spice Washes at CVS because of the B1G1, but only got $4 bucks back, so I guess it's not everywhere :-(

      • I am not sure! But it worked for me here in SC. I also bought 2 Old Spice Washes at CVS because of the B1G1 and got back 8 printed out. That is odd that they would do it in so and not in others.

      • Wbcacc

        Same here.

    • gabbycovey

This just worked for me at the CVS in Dallas, Texas — Forest & Marsh. Got 8 ECBs back for the 2 Old Spice Body Washes. Yay!

    • Camlyphu

Picked up 6 Neutrogena bar soaps tonight & got back $20 in RR! Thanks SS!

    • Princessofcoupons

Did the gillettte body wash, bought 2, used the BOGO coupon and the $4 off 2 gillette coupon so they were both free. It printed 8 ECBs! Yea! So glad my friend remembered the $4 off 2 coupon! (BTW did the dial bodywash and right guard deodorant deal too- worked great!)

    • Idellstewart

Do you know where the $4.00 coupon for the Gilette is?

    • Thogan127

Have the B1G1 free Q but there were none left by Sunday evening. Apparently not all stores enforce the limit…..

    • 3monkeysmom

I just got the “sneak peak” of the upcoming Walgreen's and guess what………MORE Gillette/ Old Spice deals!!!
Body Wash will be $4.49 with $4.49 RR back……there is also a P&G RR deal: buy $25, get $10 RR back. This is for Gillette/Old Spice deodorant, Gillette shave preps and skincare, and Fusion ProGilde cartridges.
When are we ladies going to be back on top??? I've got Gillette coming out of my eyeballs!!!!
Some more good deals I saw in the sneak peak:

      Renu Multi-Purpose Solution-Sensitive $7.49 w/ $7.49 RR back
BOGO Band-Aids 8-80 count (it says “select” so I'm not sure what's included)
12 pack Pepsi products 4/$14 with $4 RR back
      BOGO Lysol Toilet Bowl cleaner

    • Sspooneybarger

I have so many Gillette & Old Spice bath gels right now but that's okay with me-it allows me to be generous with others!
