CVS Weekly Ad 10/24-10/30

These deals start Sunday 10/24 at CVS. As far as deals go, this ad is very dry and dull. If you find any other deals or coupons leave a comment below and I’ll add them to the list.

There really is nothing to work up a scenario for, but the one deal worth looking at is the expensive rechargeable toothbrush. If you can find a box that has the rebate form, that would make an awesome present for only $10 after everything!

    • Crunchy Deal

      I agree . . . it stinks a little!

    • yeah pretty boring cant wait to see what rite aid has to offer this week rite aid has been my favorite drug store the last month

      • wendyc33

i would like to do rite aid shopping, but i dont want to pay so much oop. and then get reembursed for it much later. im impatient. I would love to get the deals everyone is getting with them, but not pay the oop like that. I think the cvs lawsuit is the reason.

        • Madpaulmom

me too. I am an instant satisfaction kind of gal. :)

        • macboy

I remember posting something about my worry about discounts going down because of that lawsuit on Facebook about a week ago. There have been off weeks at Walgreens and Publix, so maybe it is just a cyclical thing. Remember, stores call sales “loss leaders” because they LOSE money on sales. If they have super deals every week, they won't make much money. Their ultimate goal is to use the sales to get you into the store so you can buy discounted items AND full price items. But of course, we super savers never buy anything full price (especially at CVS)…

        • Guest

Thats why I stopped but Rite Aid now has limits on a lot of thing cause you have a card now. So its not as good as used to be. Also remember Rite Aid been closing and selling off stores. They always make the list of 10 business going under. So I don't give nay money there.

          • Bryarsmom

I also read that article about RA in such trouble.

I think these marketing tactics may be their last, drowning efforts to pull a rabbit out of their hat.

          • True they have been closing, selling off stores, and in the Greenville, SC area, converting them. But that is what companies in trouble DO. If you are losing the game, you change what you are doing. Rite Aid has done SO much to bring in customers. As one can easily see from the Rite Aid posts' comments, a LOT of people are shopping Rite Aid for the first time. So I would argue that their strategy appears to be working for the most part. (Also, very few items are limited anymore. About 2-3 weeks ago, limits almost entirely disappeared.)

Last week I got over $200 worth of stuff, and MADE $20 getting it after the SCR. This week, I've purchased over $100 regular retail, paid about $20 OOP, and will make over $12 after SCR's. Many of these have been truly needful items, like diapers, cold medicine, soap, and candy that I've used to give away to friends in need and my daughter's school.

        • Momto2

This week I paid close to $26 OOP…for the following: Swiffer, swiffer refill, 2 axe, 1 box huggies, 1 candy bar, blink tears, crest pro health, listerine, 2 boxes dayquil/nyquil, 2 ziplocs, scope, 3 boxes kleenex, 1 adult saline mist, 1 child saline mist and 2 L'Oreal makeups. Not bad in itself but now I will get back $18.97 in SCRs and 3 UPs…which makes my total OOP about $4 for everything. Definitely worth the investment, especially with the diapers, cold medicine and make up! Those are retail high-dollar items!

          • Momto2

Oh…this was at Rite-Aid, by the way!

            • Kristy

I have one of the stores in the Greenville,SC area that changed. I do not like it! I do not know what deals I can get or anything! I do know I can’t get SCR’s which is where I got most of my deals. So I have stopped going to Rite Aid and I used to LOVE Rite Aid!

    • Amy Lauren

Thanks for posting… CVS has really been lacking for the past few weeks and I saw the ad for the week after this, and it looks lacking too. I'm thinking about switching my loyalty to Rite Aid…

      • Kait8513

grrr for no Rite Aid's anywhere near me

      • Cheryleure

my rite aid manager has decided to set her own limits on sale items. I contacted the company, yes they are allowed to do this.. but on request she has to provide for me..even if its special order.. how crazy is that..

      • Brittany

How about just consider this a chance to take a breather from CVS and when the ads are more exciting go back! They will get more exciting again! Just give them a little time :)

      • Applejuicecook

i just started shopping at rite-aid, but still shop at cvs too. just work them each for the best deals. in my first month shopping at rite-aid i have a $28 check coming back to me.

        • Guest

Can't stand how long Rite Aid take to send a check to you.

          • Yeah, it bugs me too, but I really like getting CASH back, instead of store money. And I'm sick of trying to win the $/$$ coupon lotto game with CVS. I've yet to get one any better than $4 off $40.

      • Guest

You just have to have a good stock pile of ECB. I stopped shopping at wags and rtie aid cause of deals you can get at CVS. I never go below 30 ECB. So each week their is always something for cheap. Like I just got a 5 off 20 in my e-mail so im sure I will only pay tax this week.

    • macboy

Another toothbrush deal…I hope they actually stock them this time. I finally able to score an Oral-B Vitality Floss Action, but it was a journey indeed…

      • Amy Lauren

None of the stores here have gotten that in, or either I've never gotten there early enough to get it… CVS just isn't what it used to be…

        • Kait8513

agreed… I have stopped at every CVS in a 50 mile radius of my house every week and they still don't have them (I got a rain check), or only get one and it is gone… I am going to write to the company, I am upset!

          • Cheryleure

me .. too and I guess the Q Ihave is going to expire

            • Autball

At my CVS (Surfside beach SC) the cashier said that the oral-b toothbrush is back ordered. When I asked here nicely if they would honor my coupons when they finally got it in, she stapled the coupons to my raincheck and put a note on it for the manager. It never hurts to ask!

            • Stace

Well, I got 2 of the toothbrushes and have used one of them for a week. Note to self – do not open your mouth AT ALL when you have this toothbrush on. It slings sudsy spit everywhere! LOL I'm going back to my manual cause it makes SUCH A MESS! You'd think one of my kids was in the bathroom spraying stuff all over the mirror or something. I think I may give the other one to my M-I-L. :)

            • LemurLove

I found that they work great for cleaning between tiles and sink fixtures…since I couldn't stand to use the toothbrush for its intended purpose.

            • Bryarsmom

Stace-what a clever thing to offer up to your mother-in-law hehehehehehehehe

          • Brittany

Wow…you have time to check every CVS in a 50 mile radius?? I hope that wasn't out of your way or you could have just purchased one out right in the money spent in time & gas! It's a bummer…neither of the CVS in my city had them either but as one cashier pointed out it's in the fine print that not all of them carry everything in the ad…never actually taken the time to find the fine print on the ad…

            • Jacketfan24

My CVS told me that they didn't carry them at all in our area, so a raincheck wouldn't do any good. But that's life. Their ads don't seem to be very good overall lately; I'm glad I kept my 'overstock' instead of donating it now. Hopefully it will get better soon! They seem to be closing the Rite Aids in my area, also. One is staying open but I've seen two close.

      • Cheryleure

never did get that toothbrush.. Hampton Roads, Virginia

        • Cole_lp

I live in the Newport News area and my family got 4 of the toothbrushes. We traveled between Williamsburg and Hampton but we finally found 4. I called the CVS' and if they had 1 toothbrush, they would hold it for me. But I did go immediately to pick it up. Great xmas gifts.

      • macboy

I live in Orlando and so I would stop at a CVS when I would pass one. Some stores would tell me when the truck came in, so I decided to call one last Thursday, and they had a toothbrush. The cashier actually held it for me.

      • Guest

Looks like each store I been to has 2 or 3 on shelf. I doubt they will order many as the price of them. I did read their rebates are taking about 14 weeks from Google.

    • Mcleodsc

    • di

man it is dull this week

    • wendyc33

there is $1.00/2 cvs coupon for the hersheys, mars candy. its for the same size.

I have got plenty of those from the coupon scanner, but have expired. Im sure there is more of them.

      • Jody

My CVS will take expired coupons from the scanner so check with your store before you throw them away.

      • Tellerhoo

my CVS will also take expired coupons from the scanner too, so it never hurts to check

    • Queennana0725

Funny but it seems that if it's a dull week at cvs I get more coupons out of red box and still can put together some good deals. Maybe getting into the holidays they will have some great deals. Hope so.

    • Queuepawn

In regard to it being a slow week . . . I think stores go through cycles. A few months ago, I never seemed to find much at Walgreens and now I'm finding all sorts of deals Walgreens (paid $1.66 oop and saved over $20–didn't even redeem any RR either–it was all sales and coupons). (We don't have a Rite Aid in my town.) It also depends on what you need; what is a slow week for me might be a great week for somebody else. Getting grumpy won't fix anything. Be happy about the good deals you can snag, don't fret over one's you can't get, and go on with life.

      • Brittany

    • Brooke

Waiting to use my ECB's for the end of the month when Toy Story 3 comes out. They have the deal where you buy $25 worth of P&G items and get $16 off the movie making it $3.99. Also been thinking about using some ECB's to go toward a Sing-A-Ma-Jig for my daughter. They are sooooooo cute and only $12.99 at CVS!

      • Brittany

Cool! How did you learn of that in advance?

        • Brooke

          iheartcvs(dot)com :)

    • Autball

So frustrating! I was so excited to get my highest amount of ECB's $20, but lately I've been dwindling them away on non ECB earning purchases, since they all expire soon!

      • LIsa

I think CVS has it designed that way. Have high ECB's one week and then for the next few weeks the ad's are dull and we end up spending ECB's on other things before they expire.

        • Christy

Yes, but if you need things like diapers and Children's Zyrtec in my case, you can always easily use up $10-$20 of ECBs even if you cannot roll them over. Of course, then you start over with ECBs, but I have to buy diapers and Zyrtec anyway, so I may as well get $10-$20 off of them!

    • Bollingkathy

I went to 2 different cvs stores today, asked both about those toothbrush deals from a few weeks ago. I have gone to several different stores looking for them for weeks. I asked both stores if they would honor the mfg coupon ($10 off) if it expires before they finally get some in stock. The Walton County Ga store said they would not honor the mfg coupon, the Hull Ga store said that they would and that because of a misunderstanding between the mfg and cvs, it would be a while before they got them so hold onto your rainchecks. Our Hull Ga store is FANTASTIC!

      • Hv1975

I cannot find any of the Vitality toothbrush any where is Houston, I am so mad at CVS. I even ask some of the manager to order to I can use the PG coupon.

These coupon expires next week. Any advise for me?

        Frustrated in Houston,TX.

        • LB514

You guys are lucky with your rainchecks. The guy at my store said the product was being discontinued so he wouldn't write me a raincheck :( I don't believe they are being discontinued; why would P&G put out a high value coupon on a discontinued product? I even told him that but I got nowhere.

      • Clark7371

I bought the Oral B toothbrushes last week in Dawsonville, they had several left. I know that's a good way away from you in Walton Co.

    • webby

I just received a nicely matched pair of CVS coupons in the mail this week for Pond's. $1.50 off any one Pond's Towelettes (30 ct. only) and $2.00 off any one Pond's Cream (9.5 – 10.1 oz. only). That should make these right about $2 each.

      • Brittany

How do you get CVS coupons in the mail?

    • Megak

Isn't the aveeno $10 rebate off $30 still valid? So the deal posted would be sweeter:

      (6) Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Lotion 2.5 oz., $3.49

      • Melanieplynch

GOOD CALL! Yes, I just checked it out and you have to purchase the products by 10/31. Has anyone gotten this rebate back yet? I know there have been some disappointing posts about certain rebates where you only get back a portion of what you thought because they decided to deduct coupon amounts from the rebate amount. Hope that doesn't happen with this one!

        • Diane

check the rebate carefully. I think you have to buy 3 different names like aveeno, roc, purpose, and clean & clear.

        • Mutiaja

I already got rebate from shampoo

        • Lacey

I just got my Aveeno rebate the other day and it was submitted in July.

      • Nona

I was planning on doing this, but I read on here that some people did the Aveeno MIR over the summer and “did not qualify” for the rebate because they used coupons and paid with ECB. so I am really hesitant to do the deal!! is anyone who did the deal over the summer going to do it again?

        • Bonnie

I did the summer rebate, used coupons and ecbs. No problem, except 3 months to receive check.

          • Michelle

i just received my check this week. I definitely took longer than the 8-10 weeks they talk about.

            • sc couponer

I got my check a long time ago, and bought the ones with travel sizes attached as well.

            • Dizzydaisy65

I just got my check this week also…took awhile but no problems with it.

        • I did receive one of those letters even though I definitely bought enough before coupons, and the rebate didn't say “after coupons”. After publicly calling Aveeno out on their facebook, they looked into it, and realized that coupons had nothing to do with it, it was that I bought products that had a bonus item attatched, giving them a UPC that their computer did not recognize. They've since sent me a $10 coupon as an apology, and have said that I will receive my rebate (which I have also waited 3 months for so far) after all. I'm still waiting on the rebate, but I'm not TOO worried that I won't get it. They personally called me to apologize and tell me that I was the one that brought this problem to their attention, and that they are looking into checking ALL rejected rebates. Still, you had better contact them. Facebook seems to work faster than anything else.

          • Livserge331

Wow, that's weird! I bought ones with bonus items attached (I'm a sucker for little travel size stuff) and used coupons and ECB, but I got my rebate like 2 months ago.

          • Zjqtcj

What is the procedure to contact them via Facebook? Since there is no contact phone number on the form, I thought I was going to lose money by not getting the rebate. But eventually they sent me $10 rebate check yesterday after three months of waiting. I'm just afraid of such kind of “Big” rebate with no phone number provided. By the way, I still have a few other Big rebates that have been waiting for more than two months.

          • Sleepysam

I got the letter that said my purchases didn't qualify. I went to complain to them online and it wouldn't let me submit my complaint! I know I'm well over 13 and it kept saying I had to be over 13 to contact them. I checked my birthdate and tried to submit but it wouldn't let me go on. I tried to log in where i've put my age on it before and it still wouldn't let me submit. I was thinking they REALLY didn't want to give me my $10 rebate! hahaha I was going to call to complain, but thanks, Facebook does sound like a better place to complain!

        • Fallaya

I did the rebate, used coupons and got the rebate with no problem.

          • Kristen

The same here. I purchesed the Ageless Vitality Kit, only! The cost before the $10 off coupon was $39.99. I was afraid I wouldn’t qualify because it brought my total down to $29.99. But I mailed it off 10/23 and received my check on 10/23.

      • Sheila

Isn't that the rebate where you have to purchase 3 DIFFERENT brands to be able to qualify? Make sure you confirm on your form before you buy your stuff.

        • Beth

Yes, it has to be 3 different products.

    • Wendy

i am having trouble finding the CVS magazine (can't remember the name of it) in the stores. they say, even the store manager, that they have no idea what they are. they say they used to get a magazine but it was called something different and it was only for employees and they kept them in the break room. any ideas?

      • Quinnsqs

I know of Reinveting Beauty, I juat saw the current one at my strore yesterday, it has Cameron Diaz on the front. It may not be the same as the one your store mentioned, the Reinventing Beauty has a $.99 price on it so I don't think they would offer it just to the employees.

        • Mcleodsc

Always check the dates on the coupons inside. I have purchased one with expired coupons.

        • Cole_lp

The current one has Katherine Heigl on it.

      • Deshaine

If you live in Alabama, you're out of luck… we don't get them here. (At least, not in Birmingham.)

        • 3monkeysmom

If we're talking about Reinventing Beauty I've seen them in the Gardendale and Warrior stores :)

        • monasimmons

Actually, we do have them in Birmngham – I've bought them at the store on Morgan Road right off 459 in Hoover / Bessemer

      • Cole_lp

Reinventing Beauty…I've had the same problem, but last week all the CVS' I went into had the magazine.

      • Bamasaver

I'm in the Anniston, AL, area–one store is usually unsure what it is or is out of them, other usually has them right inside their door near magazine display. The one w/ Cameron Diaz on front has coupons that expired 9/30–we don't have the new one around here yet (maybe they wait until older ones are all sold?).

    • Ashley

just to let you know, i've had a $4/20 and a $5/25 in the past few weeks and they both expired a few days before i could use them and 2 different stores still let me use them! so atleast try to use it before you throw it away…most of them didnt even seem to care that it expired. before, i just thought once it expired that was it, now i realize i can pretty much still use it. now i've used mine after like a day or two of it expiring. idk if they will still take it mUch beyond that. Just thought i'd share!

      • Otsarah

I had a cashier tell me that they usaully take the CVS coupons and extra care bucks a week after the expiration. Don't think this is a policy, but a common occurence.

        • Fgavent

I had a manager recently tell me that he would be questioned if he took it after the expiration date…but it doesn't hurt to ask.

          • Zombiemommy

Its true, one CVS is my area allows up to 7 days. However another used to but stopped. So it doesn't hurt to ask, I have a hard time getting into CVS by Sunday to use my $5/$25…

PS I asked at Publix if I could use my $5 off $25 from Rite Aid (since they were across the street), and they said yes… It doesn't hurt to ask.

        • Guest

I think it depends on the store. Here in NC they wouldn't take my 2 day expired ECB :(

    • Lindseywarner

5$ECB for 25 spent got emailed to me, Could be used to lower the electric toothbrush making it only 5$ after rebate, coupons and ECB!

      • Guest

If you can find one called a few store here they are only getting 2 or 3 per store.

    • ireneY

I find it best not to go hog-wild with the ECBs. It's weeks like this that you'll be glad you're not holding a boat load of ECBs and nothing to roll. It has to be a marketing ploy.

      • Erin

I agree. For about a year, I was only rolling my ECBs, and I ended up with way more than I could roll. Now I also spend them on what I need, although there really isn't a lot that I truly need at CVS :) This week, I think I'm creating a scenario out of rainchecks to use my $13 ECB.

        • LB514

Well if you start out with a scenario where you pay very little out of pocket, for instance, a toothpaste for $2.99 with $2.99 ECB, and you have a $1 manufacturer coupon and a $1 CVS coupon, then you get the toothpaste and any future items you purchase by 'rolling' those ECB, all for 99 cents. The only way I like to 'roll' is if I pay less out of pocket than I get back in ECB from the start. Or if it's something like Diapers that I have to buy anyway.

      • Pamalabam

I have found that the 'free' stuff only looks free. If I spent $13 on two items and get back $10 in ECB, then spend those $10 ECB on three items, I haven't really gotten anything free. I have actually spent $13 on 5 items. I, too, don't usually roll my ECB's. I let several expire during our busy summer and that ruined it for me. What I do now is use them on photo processing. In our area, their photo processing is the best, and a decent photo special with ECB's paying for a chunk of it is a great deal. I give lots of photo albums to older relatives at Christmas so I am already starting on those now. I'll thank myself in December!

        • Lucy

A few months ago, Dulcolax was $9.99 with a $9.99 ECB and there was a printable $8 coupon for Dulcolax. So for $2 oop, you received a $10 ECB. Using the same coupon profit method, you could roll that $10 ECB into other ECBs for a profit. If you are lucky enough to receive CVS $/$$ coupons, you can easily have a $3, $4 or $5 or more profit each week depending upon your manufacturer's coupons. If we end up buying items we don't use just to be able to roll our ECBs from week to week, we donate those items to homeless shelters, women's shelters or the like.

Many of us “funded” our initial CVS ECB bankroll using the free $10 or $25 GC when you fill a new or transferred prescription at the pharmacy so we had $0 oop from the very start.

Check with your store's manager to see what the policy is regarding expired ECBs. Some stores will accept them for a couple weeks past expiration. Some stores accept them a month or so past expiration. Other stores will accept them up to a year or longer past expiration…

    • Annaforcouons

On the Aveeno deal there is a rebate (Beauty for all Ages) that you have until the 31st to do.. it is 10 rebate on 30 purchase (in one transaction)

    • Molly Bridges

if you buy mutiple of one ECB deal do the ECB's all print together or are they seperated?

      • Klynn

If it is the same products it add it all on one.

      • rose

depending on the limit, it will combine total on one ecb, for instance, buy toothpaste and get 2$ecb back, limit two, if you buy two toothpastes in one transaction, it will combine your 2$ on one ecb =4$, sometimes good and sometimes not… or at least thats how it happens for me…

    • Sam

I didnot know where to post this?I received a code for 20$ off purchase from thrive foods for completing their survey,I guess it was posted by its hip2save blog.It is not allowing me to apply this code including shipping cost.Did anyone get this code and had the same problem?I remembered in the blog that we can use 20 off even on shipping also.

    • savermom

Has anyone ran into this before? I went into CVS this afternoon to get an item, I went by to scan my card, WEEEEEEElllll there were two chidren with two are three cards playing with the machine. They had ten or twelve coupons lying in the floor. When there saw I was waiting one child said that is enough. Well; needless to say when I scaned my card the machine was empty. Where was the parents that gave them the cards. Needless to say I was a little upset.

      • jen

if it was out of paper just ask them to refill it they are usually pretty good about that.

      • Guest

People leave their coupons at the thing all the time when they are not good coupons to use. So Im sure they was using what people left behind.

        • macboy

They don't realize that their names are on top of the coupons.

    • concernedcitizen

know much grammar? really, who's teaching your kids how to speak?

    • 3monkeysmom

While poor grammar is also a pet-peeve of mine, I think it was a bit harsh to attack someone over it :) She is not speaking, she is writing and I don't think Jenny grades us ;-)

    • Fallaya

      Your rudeness is uncalled for.

    • lisa

That's the pot calling the kettle black right there. Your post is hardly grammatically correct. Besides, being polite is much more important than perfect grammar.

    • Sunshine

I'm liking CVS more and more each week! Their service is outstanding let alone all these deals that Jenny points out! I got a coupon out of the red machine for $1 off 2 Golden Emblem Nuts or Pretzels (amoung others). I was wandering around when a manager asked if I needed help. I told him I was looking for the items in my coupon. He said “Oh, you must use Southern Savers! My wife uses that site and she lets me know what the deals are so I can stock up on those items!” How amazing is that! And then he tells me how to get the most out of the coupon (2 small .99 cents bag of nuts end up being .50 cents each)! What great customer service! Thanks CVS! And of course, many thanks to Jenny for this site!

      • Dvmeador

I got that coupon today and I did not think I was going to be able to use it, While I was in the store my 4 year old kept begging for candy so the saleslady on that isle showed me that I could get the CVS candy for $.99 so I grab a bag, When I got to the register I was hading the cashier my coupons and I was handing her back the store coupons I did not think I could use and she (being one of the only employees I have found to be helpful) told me that I could grab another bag and get $1.00 off so I did. I was getting gummies and the coupon said nuts or pretzels so I had not realized I could use it on the candy I was getting.

    • Freeingu

Throughout every season I build up my ECBs and at the end of each season there are clearance sections to splurge my ECBs on for birthday and Christmas gifts. I only purchase at 75% off.

    • guest

I went to CVS today just to kill some time and get the free neutrogena (which they were out of) but to my surprise there sat three boxes of the evasive toothbrushes. I guess not complaining and whining paid off because I used my raincheck and got 2. Gotta love karma.

      • Whjones62

?Free Nutregena? I must have missed it

    • NSBsaver

      How Rude!!!!!

    • guest

Anyone who did the expired rebate on Dulcolax a couple months ago that was free at CVS be on the look out. I got my 5.00 check today. I was kind of surprised they argeed to except the expired forms but I am glad they did.

      • I received mine on 10/25. Yay! 49.99 in rebates in the last 7 days.

    • Dljc3000

Had fun size candy bars on sale for $.77 and from the red box I got a coupon for a $1.00 off 2 which made them a total of $.54. Best of all I finally was able to get the Oral B Vitality toothbrush that I've had a rain check on since the first of the month.

      • Dvmeador

When I was in there today I tried to use my $1.00 off 2 coupon on the $.77 candy and they told me it was not for that candy and also the $.77 was for tomorrow I could not get it for that price today.

Sometimes I think the people in these stores do not want you to save money.

It took me 30 minutes to check out at Rite Aid the other day because they tried to find problems with every coupon and transaction I had. When it was all said in done I spent $18.00 before taxes and they gave me $6.00 for my next purchase and now I can enter my receipts and Rite Aid will mail me a check for $24.00 so basically I got everything free and made $12.00.

        • Dvmeador

However while I was in the store I got

1 pack of Huggies Diapers $8.99

2 bags of CVS brand candy $.99 each

          I used

1 $2.50 coupon on the diapers

1 $1 off 2 Golden Emblem Nuts or Pretzels

          1 $5.00 ECB

and I paid $3.06 after tax

in my deal yesterday at Rite Aid I got a BIG box of diapers.

    • Lacat2

How the heck do you access the ad?

      • Brooke

    • Rsharv

the red box in Dickson Tn, is always out of coupons. I have been there up to 7 days in a row and all I'm told is no one knows whats wrong. A message comes up try again next week. When it does work it never gives me any of the good coupons others talk about.

      • Mcleodsc

Have you asked the cashier to check to see if it is out of paper? That could be the problem.

    • Debbie

How do you get the rebate form for the Oral B electric toothbrush? It says on the site that is highlighted that participating stores will provide a form. Anyone know what this means? Thanks.

      • Jrenee

It's on some of the packages. It says “Save 50%.”

    • Jrenee

FYI: I just got back from purchasing my Oral B toothbrush at CVS. I opened the package just now and the rebate says it is “after” coupons and discounts. So, the deal is still really good, but not quite as good as I thought.

      • Debbie

So basically, you are only out $10 for the t-brush and you can use this towards the PG coupons, so it's a pretty good deal! Thanks for the info.

      • jhh

Does that mean 50%off of $89.99 if you use the $10 coupon? That should be $44.99. So it should be 99.99-10-44.99-30ECB=$15 after all the coupon, rebate and ECB?

        • Jrenee

          yes, that should be correct

    • Queennana0725

Two quick questions….I live in the Smoke Rise area of Blount County. Does anyone know of a place near me where I can take newspapers for recycling? I have 1 Sun. paper delivered and buy 2 more so I have quite a stash of papers and I hate to just put them in the trash.

Also, who is one the cover of the new Reinventing Beauty magazine? I've been checking at the Warrior store and can't find them. It helps when you know who's on the cover and you can scan quickly.

      • sww

i believe katherine heigl is on the cover. haven't seen one in my store yet, though:( HTH!

      • Firstbrownie

Saw my Reinventing Beauty magazine in both the beauty section and in the magazine racks at the store…..I honestly don't know who is on the cover!

    • Sam

could anybody please tell me which coupon to handover first, manufacturer's or cvs' for the same item?

      • Jalonzo

I've never done it in any particular order at CVS (in contrast to Walgreens or Rite Aid). I usually give ECB last simply to be sure that I have spent enough to use them!

    • Laura

Can anyone help??? I went to CVS and bought the $99 toothbrush. Is the mail in rebate for only certain boxes? I asked the cashier for a duplicate receipt. She said she couldn't do that. She called the manager over and she said that they cant print duplicates. The manager went to her office and printed me a receipt (on a piece of copy paper, the same info as my cash register receipt). I went to the proctor and gamble web site and it states that you must send in the original receipt to get the coupon booklet. Do you think the printed receipt will work? Isn't the other receipt needed for the mail in rebate (if I can get it)? If you return this item, what happens to the 30 extra care bucks? Please help….need info :)

      • Lucy

There's a pdf of the toothbrush rebate form on the oral b website. Google is your friend. :-)

You'll need the original receipt for the toothbrush rebate. Since you couldn't get a duplicate receipt for the coupon booklet offer, just skip that for now. I'm sure that you'll be able to purchase another $50 worth of P&G items between now and Dec 31.

        • Gilli001

Could you tell me how you got it to pull up? I can not get either of my computer to go to any oral b website. Thanks!

        • Laura

        • Gilli001

Be careful on the online rebate form…. It says certain stores only and CVS is NOT one of them!!!!

      • Tngal64

My CVS pharmacy couldn't print me a duplicate receipt today because they only have access to yesterday's business. They told me to bring in my receipt tomorrow and they can print me out a duplicate. The Orab B Website link is currently not working. Does anyone have the hyperlink that they can post for the rebate?

      • Phil1_20

I called the number listed for questions about the coupon booklet. I told them the toothbrush I purchased had a mail in rebate that required the original receipt but I wanted to use this purchase to earn my P&G Everyday Savings coupon book. I was given instrucions on what to send with a copy of the receipt. I don't know if the paper print out will work or not. You can always call and ask. :) For Everyday Savings questions, their number is 866.899.8903.

    • MommyOf3

AJAX is on sale for $0.87.Does anyone know if there's a coupon out for them, and if yes, where can I find them?

      • Rlewis614

If you go up top and click on the coupon database link you can search and see if there is a coupon for it

      • Mcconaghey

        $1/2Fab, Dynamo or Ajax Laundry Products5/23/2010SS Insert(Exp 11/30)

Thanks for your help with the Zao coupon!

        • Mcconaghey

          I meant Azo!

    • Mcconaghey

AZO COUPON NOT PRINTING: Is anybody else having a problem getting this to print? When I click on the picture, it give me an error message and closed the page.

      • MommyOf3

The AZO coupon is a pdf file. You shouldn't have a problem printing those.

        • Mcconaghey

I know, I have tried on 2 diefferent computers and the PDF will not open. It closes down everything when I click on the link. It does not direct my to the site.

      • Rebecca

I had to save it….then print it. I kept getting a blank sheet through my printer, then after I saved it, no problems printing it from the saved PDF. Best of luck.

    • amom22

beginning the journey of couponing- Quick Question- if I have potentially multiple ECB to print out- will they print out at one transaction or do you really have to do separate transactions?

      • Amy

They will print out in one transaction.

    • Wanda

If you have an item that is B1G1 50% off, and you have a coupon for B1G1 free. How does that scenario work out at the register? If I have two of the B1G1 free coupons how can I utilize them best if the sale is for B1G1 50% off ?

      • Mandi

You get both for the cost of one 50% off. I did this with bodywash. Original price $5 and I got both for $2.50.

    • ashley

is there any other way to get the oral b rebate form?! i went to 3 different stores and all of them had the toothbrushes for 99.99 but NONE of them had the rebate sign on them. i really want to buy 2 of them but without the rebate, its totally not worth it to me. TIA

      • Stephbarber

I would like to know this as well. The CVS I went to had 3 toothbrushes, but no boxes with the rebate included. For those who did get the rebate, does the form look like something that could be scanned in and shared? Just curious…..

        • Christine

I called Oral-B and they directed me to this site: http://www.pgestore.com/Oral-B-50%25-Rebate/promotions-oral-b-rebate,default,sc.html?srule=top-sellers

The only thing is that the rebate says for online purchases, but when I asked her, she had to check my UPC code. So I’m guessing it works for certain UPC codes.

          • Gilli001

The rebate has certain store listed and CVS is NOT one of them… therefore, you will not get your money back!

        • Ashley

Yeah i just called them and they told me the same…there was nowhere else to get a rebate form except from buying it in stores or buying it online. I think thats a stupid idea lol! im definitely not buying it now, without the MIR its not worth it to me.

      • Myriahall_2000

I am in the same position – can't find one with the box that includes the 50% off rebate form. I have called Oral-B and they told me that there is not a form that can be filled out. You have to buy one of the specially marked boxes or purchase online. If you purchase online, they will send you the form. Very odd if you ask me – I'm calling all over town, but so far no luck on any in the correct box.

    • Phil1_20

I happily purchased my Oral B toothbrush yesterday. I was glad to find in my box, not only the 50% rebate, but 2 $3 coupons for replacement brush heads and an additional $15 rebate for my next dentist visit (which happens to be in 1 week). Thanks for telling us about the deal Jenny!

      • Gilli001

Was your box labeled 50% off???

        • Phil1_20

Yes, my box was labeled 50% off. I did call Oral B this morning when they opened to find out how to take advantage of both rebates and was told I could only do one. When I mentioned they were both advertized on the outside packaging and were considerations for me when I made my decision for purchasing, I was given an alternate address to mail my dentist rebate information. My packaging was marked for the 50% rebate but you could also see the mail in dentist rebate on the box.

    • flmom2

So happy! Purchased all my Halloween candy today at CVS. Spent $21.29 and saved $25.24. It was a good CVS day for me….

Not a whole lot I needed at CVS this week, but I had $9.99 in ECB's getting ready to expire on Saturday, so I didn't want them to go to waste!

Got a great deal for me – since I have a TON of hair & go through shampoo like there's no tomorrow. :) Picked up the L'Oreal EverPure Shampoo & Conditioner – used 2 $2 off coupons – with my $9.99 ECB's my total OOP was $0.98 (all tax)! Got $5 ECB's for my next trip.

Worked for me! I love shopping drugstores now & I never did before I found the amazing deals thanks to Southern Savers! :)

    • Hael80

Today the coupon printer gave me two different $1.00/2 candy coupons (Hershey' and Mars). Combine that with the $1/2 Hershey's coupon and the $.50/1 Mars peelie's, I got four bags of candy for $4 plus tax. I told a guy in the candy isle about the deal and gave him my extra coupons, he said: “Wow, there really are good people left in this world!” LOL…. I had to show him how to use the coupon printer.

      • Gloria

when i use the coupon printer last week i was trying to get the coupon for brach corn candy maybe i am doing it right tell me what to do when you are trying to get a specific coupon how many coupon can you get on 1 visit.

        • helping

    • Gloria

I am new to couponing there is a limit to printable coupon. look like might be 2 how often can you print i have been looking for a coupon for liquid clorox can someone help me.

      • Tarah

Two seems to be the limit for most printable coupons. Try typing Clorox into the coupon database.

      • jam

We have four PC's and I can print 2 per pc, although I seldom do it. You have to weigh the cost of printing q's.

    • Juliet12783

Does CVS take competitor coupons? I'd love to be able to use the 5 off 25 RiteAid coupon I have at CVS this week.

      • just helping

Sorry no…just stack the cvs with manufacturing…you can switch rx scripts an use the flip flop scenerio on gift cards though…

When I opened my Oral B toothbrush, there was a $15 rebate after your next trip to the dentist. That means that they paid me $5 t take this $140.00 toothbrush! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Hv1975

I am still looking for Oral B Vitality toothbrush in Houston,TX.

      Please help!!!

      • Allison

You can get a raincheck if you don't find one in time.

    • Elaine

I have found that the manager and staff of the CVS in Darlington, SC is really nice and helpful. They don't mind at all when you come in couponing, so I always try and step out of line and let the other customers without coupons a head of me, but it does bother me some when I see some people taking advantage clearing the shelves off.

      • windymac1

The CVS in Hartsville have more rude employees and helpful ones.

      • Eae1959

CVS in Kissimmee FLorida has put a limit on items due to that exact reason, small business owners are clearing out their shelves. They had to put a stop to it which in turn hurts everyone else.

    • Elong5664

You can only get the $49.99 rebate on the Oral B Rechargeable toothbrush if it is a special marked package with a rebate form. It is not a form you can print from the link. The link did have a P&G customer service number that I called and they said you have to have the special marked package. Now I've got a messy transaction to clean-up because I didn't check the link before I made the purchase and now I want to return it.

    • Freedomspradley1

The only thing I found this week were the Airwick Ultra Freshmatic & Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic kits for $5.99. When combined with a $4 coupon and a $5 off $25 CVS q you get them for about a dollar each. I purchased 2 of each and got 2 tiny bags of the gold emblem nuts as a filler item to get up to $25.

      • Nichols_again

thats a good deal, where do you get the 4/20 and the 5/25 q's?

    • Couponj

There is a $3/1 Nexxus 13.5 ox shampoo or conditioner or any Nexxus Styling Item (Exp 11/30) in the Sweetbay Supermarken meal solutions for any budget flyer.

    • Brobranbaseball

Are the broadway nails coupons ($4/2) printing from the machine this week? Or from previous weeks?

      • Mcleodsc

        Wow-where is YOUR CVS located?

        • SHERRYBERRY7570

          • Mandi

Holy Cow! I'm just across the state line. I think I'll be heading down there soon! Thanks!

      • Keliy23

Do all CVS's take competitor coupons?

        • Sandy

      • Coupon Q

        where is your CVS at?

    • mbhcbh

I'm new to CVS – Do they double manufactuers coupons?

      • Yvettejj

        No they do not.

    • roseandruthsmama

can you get the 50.00 rebate on both toothbrushes?

    • ConfettiLauren

I think I made out alright (so far with CVS) w/Robitussin Deal and $1 coupon – $3 ECB, WYB 2. I needed the cough syrup, and did NOT buy them at the same time, and I was still awarded the ECB, what a fantastic surprise! CVS has ALL Zhu Zhu pets and accessories (on my shopping list) b1g1 50%, which works out great when I have extra care bucks to use! And another $1 ecb (green tag)the deal is even better for my wallet! Their prices are actually better than Target(by me in VA) Also 8 pack for snack size candy – hersheys, almond joy, twix… for $0.77 each, thats a really good discount from $1 ea everywhere else, since we've been picking at the halloween bowl for about 2 weeks now :) not too shabby for my household needs this week :)

    • Keliy23

      Deal Ideal…

I have $2 ECB so I'm buying two Confetti Fingernail polishes that are on sale for $1 and getting them for free. They are going to make great stocking stuffers for the girls.

    • SCKopps

Does anyone know where the AZO was advertised, it wasn't in this weeks ad and the store didn't know anything about the ECB offer

    • Sindyt63

Question… if CVS has AXE B1G1 50% off and I have a B1G1 Free… a) can I use it with their B1G1 and b) how much will it be for me if the Axe is 5.99????

      • SCKopps

The sale is BOGO 1/2 off…I just bought that this morning and they took off the full $5.99 with the coupon, so you get 2 for $3…

    • harmony84

      Went to CVS today:

      Candy $2

      Candy $2

      (2) $1 coupon

      $2 ECB

      paid $0.12

Also got $1 ECB for scanning my green card the 4th time

      I'm happy!

      • Selinaw1000

what kind of candy how did you use 2 coupons? thx

    • Selinaw1000

ok here is a bad story someone who attended the workshop told me about the toothbrushs i went and purchased 2 they did not have rebate on box so they were returned i used the 2nd ECB $30.00 for the 2nd toothbrush i went into another CVS on my way home later that day or next day one and i noticed there were 2 toothbrushes with rebates so i got them when i got home i noticed that i did not get the ECB so i went back to the store to return them and the reason i did not get the ECB was becuase i was at my limit for that item now even though they were returned they still counted as my 2 then the

CVS clerk started talking to me in a bad way saying that i knew what i was doing and acting like i was doing something wronb becuause i used my moms card to repurchase and we do have 2 separate households it was bad and to top it off one toothbrush would not return so i have no idea if i am stuck with it or not i wanted to alert everyone of this oh and the clerk at the 1st store called the other store and told them that i had kept the $30 ECB and that was not true i used it on 2nd purchace so it was returned i did not keep it i think i am going to write to CVS

      • Be an honest couponer

i used the 2nd ECB $30.00 for the 2nd toothbrush

You explicitly said you used the $30 in ebc's to purchase another toothbrush. YOU said it. So what you did was wrong, and the cashier had every right to call you out on it.

      • Brooke

They probably won't let you return the one toothbrush because you used the $30 ECB already. That's their way of not getting ripped off I guess. Makes sense if you think about it though.

        • Brooke

I meant to say they won't let you return the other toothbrush it because you used the $30 ECB to purchase it.

      • Spanishteacher1968

Some of the replies to this post are harsh….at least they come across that way. I assume this person wanted advice or empathy as to what transpired. Many people on this site are experts and we “newbies” can really learn alot. But please keep in mind many of us are tender hearted people and it does sting when replies are meant to make us feel foolish. Maybe I am just being overly sensitive b/c I am a teacher and it is important to me to speak to students as I would want someone to speak to my own children. In academia, there is the saying “There is no such thing as a stupid question.”……umm, yes there are; I get them all the time. But most parents would want me to help their child manipulate the question in order to make better sense or least reply in a kind hearted manner rather than kick their teenager's self esteem in the gut. Just because I can make your child feel stupid, doesn't mean I should. :-)

        • Sb

Except she isn't a child; she's an adult who wrote a paragraph that contained zero punctuation marks. When people took the time to try to understand the run-on sentences she flagged their comments. I was on this site when she first made this post. The comments that were flagged weren't offensive. You would think that after the third person “misunderstood” her situation she would have taken the time to figure out why, or maybe realize that she was in fact, wrong. Instead, she flagged everyone's comments that she disagreed with.

Sugar-coating things is probably why this woman still thinks she's the “victim”.

          • Crazycouponer5

Everyone on here is so anal. Get over it!

          • Spanishteacher1968

I can not comment on the flagged replies as I did not read them; They may very well have been unjustly flagged. I don't mean to suggest that we “sugar-coat” replies. I simply believe that we should respond to each other politely. I also believe that we should keep in mind that not everyone writes well. Although I am a teacher, I wouldn't call myself an editor by any means – not in English that is. :-)

      • Adriennewillis29

I know several people have tried to take on this question…. but I am also going to give it a try. Getting ECBs is like the store giving you money to spend on your next visit. When you received the $30.00 on your first tooth brush purchase to truly have “returned” ecbs, you would have needed to hand them back at the return & not spend them. Then when you made the second toothbrush purchase you could have been given new ecbs to spend. But on the bright side you actually were able to put $30.00 (in ecbs of course)toward your toothbrushes when most of us had to pay the full price and then get the $30.00.

      • NSBsaver

I am trying to understand all this… Why did you use your Mom's card to repurchase?

    • 123

you did keep the ECB. you used it on a purchase. you can't double-shop like that.

    • Be an honest couponer

If you kept the EBC's, then that is deceptive and dishonest. It sounds like are merely doing refunds just so you can keep the EBC's…

    • Concerned Couponer

Why are you returning items, but keeping the ECB's for them? Do not ruin couponing and ECB's for the rest of us!

    • Selinaw1000

I did not keep them that is why i was so upset i absoultly did not keep them i returned it

      • Concerned Couponer

Your comment is hard to follow but, I think that you purchased one toothbursh then used the ECB to purchase the second toothbursh. The second toothbursh is the “problem return” because you purchased it with ECBs. For the second purchase you are due back only the funds spent minus the ECB, because the ECB were from an item you returned.

      • Sandy

No reason to flag people's comments. It's quite obvious that no one is understanding what you're saying. Try rewriting what happened. Reread it when you're done and check to make sure it all makes sense. Then, maybe someone can help you.

    • Selinaw1000

i returned the item the second toothbrush that i returned i did not gain anything out of the transaction wow i cant believe yall think i was dishonest i had zero gain from this

    • Selinaw1000

I think you misunderstood this situation

    • What were you saying

Use correct punctuation and your point would be clearer.

      • Brooke

Why can't you guys just use your regular posting names and not make up new ones? Very childish in my opinion.

    • jackjack

In your “Transaction #2” above, I didn't think CVS would let you use your ECB to purchase the very same item.

      • Brooke

With CVS is doesn't matter. Walgreen's is the one you have to watch out for. That is one of their many strict coupon rules.

      • Mz 10deroni

with CVS you can use the ECB 2 times on the same product. The best way is to make the purchase get the ECB, make the purchase again using the ECB ( you will get you ecb back and STOP!! If you use it again after that you will not get you ECB back.

        • Phillips

Not true (at least at my CVS). There is a 5 per customer limit on the AZO itch cream currently and I bought 5 during one visit last week. I did 5 separate transactions and rolled the ECBs over 5 times. They kept ringing them up and I kept ripping them off and handing them to the cashier to pay for the next one. I also did the same thing with 6 of the Revlon lipsticks when they were on sale a few weeks ago. I don't think they care what you use your ECBs on at CVS. That's why they are so much cooler than Rite Aid!

          • Jalonzo

Most limits are usually 2, I think that is what they meant. Sometimes the limits are higher or lower- it usually says in the ad what the limit is.

    • Grannaturner

Beware of Florence, AL CVS located on Hwy 72. Last week the cashier was very rude about using coupons, green bag tag, or another card. They said they were getting ripped off due to abuse. I felt like I was the one being abused for others' mistakes. She even rang up a free CVS coupon for breathe right strips incorrectly and when I went back, against my better judgement, would not credit the full amount of the strips. A manager came over and gave me a gift card for the full amount eventually. Not a place I'm going to frequent!

      • Be an honest couponer

Sounds like it's just that one cashier who is a prick. I wouldn't stop going because of one cashier. Just shop when she's not working.

    • Sunshine

The Azo did not have a ECB tag at my CVS. How do I find out if it will give ECBs?

      • Sunshine

        I meant “an” ECB tag . . . sorry!

        • Be an honest couponer

Scan it at the red coupon box or ask a cashier to do a price check.

          • Sunshine

Thanks! :) I tried scanning on the red coupon box but it just gave the price not whether or not it would give ECBs. I went ahead and bought it and it did give $5 ECB! :)

    • Nicole Harterink

The printable Aveeno coupons from print.coupons.com aren’t showing up. Is there a particular ZIP code I need to enter to see those coupons? Or do they disappear when the maximum number of coupons has been printed?

    • Caitlin

I was a little disappointed in the deals this week at CVS as well BUT I did find a great unadvertised deal on the Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer! It was on sale from $12.79 to $4.99 and I had a coupon (I think from the newspaper) for $2 off the trimmer PLUS they had the refill cartridges on sale from 11.49 to $4.99 so I stocked up for my husband. After that I went to Target and they were giving $5 gift cards with the purchase of the refill cartridges. I went shopping on Tues so I'm not sure if these deals are still available (I don't see why they wouldn't) but it would be worth checking out, especially if you do have any ECB you can put toward the purchase as well. Good luck and happy saving!

    • Tiff

Does anyone know where to find the manufacturer's rebate for the Bayer glucose monitor. It's advertised in the CVS flyer, but I can't find where the rebate form is. Do I need to ask at the pharmacy?

      • Sam

I bought bayer glucose monitor.inside there was manufacturer's rebate information inside the box,but it says it expires in the year 2009.I am also confused, did anyone have the same problem

    • Kris

Has anyone had success in finding the specially marked boxes of toothbrushes in Macon, GA? I already have a rain check, but went to Gray Hwy, Northside Dr, and Hartley Br Rd today while I ran all my errands. This week I sent my husband to Zebulon Rd and the one in Forsyth, GA while he was out. Disappointed!

    • Smedia54

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this with the CVS ads but I am no longer getting them in the Sunday paper. I'm receiving the ad with my mail and other grocery ads on Wed. Some of the CVS deals run Sunday – Tuesday, which makes it impossible to take advantage of. I've checked with other relatives, etc. in close proximity to me that receive the paper and they are not getting them in the Sun. paper any longer either.

      • Mommysauls

I have noticed to be getting them early in the Wed thing in the mail but haven't even checked for them in the paper.. I live in rocky mount NC

My CVS didn’t have the rebates on the Oral B toothbrushes, would it be right if i purchase one of the non-rebate ones in the store in order to get the ECB’s, then order one of the ones with the rebate from cvs.com, and then return the non-rebate one to cvs.com? Does that make sense? I’m thinking that would sort of be the same as an exchange? Any opinions? Otherwise I might just get a rain check and hope that my store gets some with the rebates in soon.

    • Audrey30349

Does anyone know what the limit was for the Oral B vitality toothbrush was? I went there today to Finally get mine and could only get ECB for one of them.

      • deedee

the limit was 2 I still have that part of the add because I clipped it out in case of any questions.

    • Kate

I called a couple local CVS stores to ask if they had of the Oral-B Vitality toothbrushes in stock. One store said that they did not have any of the Vitality in stock, but their manager said they could substitute another Oral-B toothbrush for the rain check/coupon deal. When I got to the store, the guy pulled the Oral-B SmartSeries 4000 Rechargeable Toothbrush (sale price: $99.99) off the shelf and asked if I would be willing to accept that one in place of the Vitality. Apparently they did not sell any this week because none of them had the $45 rebate and they needed to get rid of them. He gave me two for $23 + $13 ECB = totally free!

      • Greatjobcouponing

You got a totally great deal!! Good Job :)

    • Rwhite320

I went to the local CVS to purchase the AZO cream to get the $5. ECB; they had none on the shelf. The manager did not believe me when I told him that the ECBs were on this product. I just went to a SS seminar this AM and Jenny advised us to do this transaction as our first. What do you do to prove to the manager of the CVS store that it is a legit item when it is not in the ad? Kaye

    • Aimeemohler

Our CVS has a DVD deal where you buy $25 of certain products and get $16 off the new Toy Story DVD. Does this have to be $25 before coupons or the end total? I don't shop here enough to know! Thanks for your help!
