      • Michelle

    • Epcpooh

Just a lil typo…the date should read 11/7 to 11/13…you're allowed though, thanks for all the hard work you do.

    • wendyc33

i found some b1g1 halls refresh coupons today at my winn dixie store.

      could make it even better.

    • Oakes4life

FYI…I thought I would share I was in CVS yesterday and in the Glade display they had $3.00 off coupons on the front. Winter collection only though expires in january so we would have time to wait for for sales!!!

    • Tysmomma

Does anyone know what happens if you return an item that had to be purchased in order to earn extra care bucks? Do you get the full value of the item back? Do you lose the extra care bucks?

      • Mikeandmarcieblack

i did that a year or so ago with a product that broke, and i got a full refund, plus i was able to keep my extra bucks. hth!

        • Tysmomma

Thanks for your response. Today I bought 2 of the Cover Girl lip gloss and I just hated how it felt on my lips, plus the color wasn't very flattering, so I was going to return the one I didn't open.

          • Courtney

actually with Cvs a little known fact is you can return used makeup also. If you don't like the way it looks or feels you can return it. I used to work there and we saw it all the time.

            • Ddayhope

              Yeahbut,walgreens won't take it back

      • Braysmom

I have returned items that printed ECB but they gave me a gift card for the difference not cash.

    • Klink__

oo what about the 10/17 B1 Triaminic product get Nivea lip care free.exp 11/30/10?

    • Kim A.

I love excedrin!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will def. be going sunday and stock up

    • MaryB

Thought most coupons say no more than 4 like coupons per transaction. Transaction 1, uses 7 of the same kind.

      • Susan

I think it's just proctor and gamble coupons that say that.

        • macboy

and those are the high value P&G coupons, like the infamous Oral B Rechargable Toothbrush $10 coupon.

CVS is doing another sale on that in one or two weeks. I wonder if they'll actually have the items in their stores this time. Thankfully, that is something I won't have to find out…

    • Guest

The deal on the Lysol Touch free soap system (B1G1F) is not that great. Use the $3 off coupon to buy the item at Walmart, where its only $6! CVS price = $15.99! You get the dispenser and the soap for $3 total after coupon at Walmart. I bought several…

      • macboy

Yep. The BOGOs at the drugstores are generally not great considering their hefty initial prices. I believe Wags had BOGO on this last week and the price for one was $11.99.

      • There was a better deal at Rite Aid about 3 weeks ago. I got mine on a 50% off sale, used a manu coup, a VV coup and paid about 3.49 for mine. Plus, I used it to build my transaction up to $25 so I could use a $5/$25 coupon, so I ended up getting it for free in the end. So I agree, this CVS deal, and the WHOLE ad in general is rather lacking.

      • 3monkeysmom

I am really not understanding all the hype about this product. I am a self-proclaimed germaphobe and it seems that these are marketed toward people like myself. The commercial for them explains about all the germs that are left on the pump of regular hand soap….Ok, I'm sure that's true. BUT you're washing your hands after you touch it!!! Automatic faucets I understand because on a regular one you have to touch the handle with your clean hand that you just touched with your dirty hand. I guess if it's free after coupons/rr's/ups,ecbs then it's worth trying out but I just don't see how it's any better than any other soap :)

For the record, not aiming my rant at you :) It's just something I've been wondering about for awhile and since you were talking about them, I thought I'd throw it out there :)

        • Guest response

Hi yes, not to freak you out but I was also watching a Dr. Oz where he explained that unless you shut the lid on your toilet the germs are airborne like 16 feet. In most bathrooms, for example that means your sink, toothbrush, etc. So it really doesnt make a huge difference in the bathroom but I'm finding it handy for the kitchen where you are cutting raw chicken/beef/fish…definitely dont want salmonella on extra surfaces/bottles in the kitchen… if they could bring the price of those Touchless faucets down with coupons I'd get that too :) LOL

          • 3monkeysmom

Oh wow…16 feet!! I think that would extend all the way into my bedroom :( Yikes!

If I had the money, I'd get some touchless faucets too….along with one of those super-duper powerful hand dryers (the ones that make your skin ripple like ocean waves!)!!!!

When I'm cutting raw meat, I just use the back of my hand to pump the soap :)

But it does sound handy for that situation :)

      • Anonymous

I have three of the Lysol Touch free soap system. My husband drilled a small hole on top of each container of soap and now we just refill it with hand soap. Works like a charm. The one by the kitchen sink has dish detergent in it. Works great too. No need to buy those horribly expensive refills.

    • Laura

I received a $3 off of a $15 purchase coupon via email today. Does anyone know if I can use that along with the $3 off of a $15 cosmetic purchase coupon?

      • macboy

Those type of coupons state that you cannot use any other coupon offering money off of a purchase in the same transaction. I couldn't use my $3 birthday coupon and the $4/$20 coupon I got at the same time. However, in your case, it may be different if you spend $30. If not, just do two transactions.

      • Nona

they have let me use money off coupons from the coupon machine and money off coupons from my email in the past. but now they arent taking ANY coupons that beep. even if they are the right coupon for the right thing! (according to the cashier at CVS last time I was in there). The cashier told me “people are getting fired for taking coupons that beep, so the new coupon policy here (in wilmington nc) is that we cant take ANY coupons that beep!” As far as I know all the stores in my town are abiding by that new policy and are wont push any coupons through even when they are they right coupon and nothing is wrong with them! I am so mad!!! I used to LOVE cvs now not so much!

    • Bamasaver

CVS sent me another $4/$20 coupon via e-mail this evening, good thru 11/7.

    • DOFFNM

Does anyone know if CVS has a limit on the number of IPs in the same transaction? I have a lot of Finish PowerTab $.75 coupons printed from different coupons. Could I use 10 in one transaction?

      • DOFFNM

        Oops. I meant “different computers.”

      • Maria

If your CVS is anything like mine, they wont have 10 of them, but if they do you can use them, but its a limit of 2 to get the ECB's back.

      • Shon

        No limit

    • Angelareid821

Does anyone know what the “sinus buster” is that's on sale?

      • meme

It is a little porcelain pot (sort of like a teapot) that you put warm salty water in and pour into one nostril (head sideways over sink) and let it flow through your sinuses and out the other nostril. Several of my kids and their families use them when they have allergies or colds. It really helps clear out the sinuses and eliminates prolonged sickness. Oprah had someone demonstrate it on her show using one of her staff members who suffered really bad from allergies. The staffer was really relieved of symptoms when she was interviewed later about using this treatment.

        • L

Trying to think how I got the link, but there was a Facebook page to request a free netipot if you hadn't signed up before. Maybe someone else recalls this too.

        • Katkoupon

You are thinking of the sinus wash (neti pot) for $9. The sinus buster for $10 is a nasal mist. I got a free sample a couple of weeks ago, an impressive full-size bottle. My husband tried it first, said the main ingredient is some kind of pepper. It works! It does feel a bit hot at first (not really a burn) but doesn't last long. Good stuff!

          • meme

I stand corrected. Sorry for the wrong information. To be truthful, I didn't go back and check the ad before I posted, so I was getting the ads mixed up.

    • ChrissyPunkin

How much are the Nestle Semi-Sweet morsels?

      • $3.29

        • ChrissyPunkin

          Thank you. That's a terrible price. :-)

          • Deb

They're $2.49 at Kroger this week, $1.99 after cpn.

            • Shoppingforjane

They are on sale at Walgreens this week with their coupon.

      • Michelle

i think they are going to be much cheaper next week… so hold out

    • Cwollard

alot of you guys (sorry that sounded kinda Jersey but I was B&R in South Carolina) have user names. Where do you register on Jennys site?

      • Cwollard

    • Ddcrafter

Got $6 in savings coupons today…then I lost the dang receipt! UGH!

      • Cwollard

sorry dd…..that sucks……i dont know of a situation where u could get them back.

      • Tammy

Call CVS ECB department. They can reissue the ECB for you. At least I know they have in the past. At least ask. It can't hurt to try. Since the ECB are attached to your card, they have record as to if they have been used or not.

    • Cwollard

I started Q'ing on that week about 6 weeks ago when that oral b toothbrush was free with the 10 pg Q. Since then CVS has been absolutely horrible, IMAO. free toothpaste every once in a while, but nothing awesome. seems like rite aid is the pharm of choice for sales through the past few weeks.

      • Barb

No kidding and I would have to drive quite a ways to get to a Rite Aid. The toothbrush deal is the last one I did as well. The coupon machine has been a huge disappointment lately.

    • haleyanne21

The halls coupon is 1 off 2

    • MatthewFox

I've been sort of out of the CVS game lately and I just got an email for $5 off $30, I can't really see how I'd utilize it tho :

      • Amy

Me too. I think I'm going to use it for Christmas shopping. My 4-year-old wants a pillow pet and Zhu Zhu pets.

        • Slurpeelover09

Where did you find the coupon?

          • Amy

I have a $5 off $30 purchase that CVS sent me in an email and $5 ECB from a survey.

            • Barbara in SC

Check out the I heart CVS website. A lot of times, they have the $ off coupons in a printable format.

If nothing else, grab a food item you never have Q's for.

        • Luci

I used an emailed 20% off discount off entire purchase on milk, while it wasn't on sale. Couldn't use the discount on anything that was on sale or advertised. Regular prices on anything else I'd consider was too high, even with Qs. ECBs are great with that!

      • Erin

if anyone in your house uses flushable wipes, there are packs in the diaper aisle for about $2.00… they are in a yellow package.

It would be great if people actually got all of these magazines with the coupons. And I do get a couple but not multiple copies of magazines so alot of the scenarios dont work out for me,

      • macboy

I don't have All You and the other magazines, and I still come out well. You may be able to find those coupons on coupon clipping sites without having to buy a magazine you won't read.

    • Daniele

not really happy with CVS right now, it has been a struggle to roll my ECB's. I hate to use them on things that I know I can get a better deal on just to be using them! I had 2- $13 ECB's from the toothbrush deal that I had to use. I let my husband use them on whatever he wanted because my brain was going to explode trying to put together something I could be happy with. That is when you know you are in this couponing thing a little too deep…..

      • di

        i no what u mean daniele………………….

      • Jf

why did u have to use them up? my cvs lets me use expired ecbs.. i would check into seeing if yours will too.. hth…

      • Autball

At least you were able to get the toothbrushes! Every CVS in my area has been out of them, since that deal (over a month)! My CVS has been nice enough to write notes all over my rainchecks to accept my expired coupons.

I have noticed this happening with other items that would be free, I think they have caught on and just don't stock them on purpose!

        • Freedomspradley1

The CVS on Devine St in Columbia had a good stock of toothbrushes last week when I went in. Call before you go if you still need one. The Oral B Vitality brushes are going on special again coming up so get it while the getting is good.

    • Kevinstacy

My CVS will let you use ECB 30 days past expiration. It's worth checking. :)

    • Ginawallace

        • dculick

          Cool! Thanks!

    • Lovingthesavinvgs7

I am having so much trouble with my CVS!!!! They never have the things in the circular….even if I go at the beginning of the week or on Thursday when their truck runs! It is so upsetting.

      • Tshanina

If you get a raincheck for the items out of stock you will still be able to get the deal at a later time.

      • Nbasshelton

get a raincheck .it happens to me all the time.usually once the sale is over then you can magically find what you were looking for! their rainchecks never expire so awesome

    • nicole

no excedrin q in my ss 10.17

    • Madefromscratchmac

I received a $5 off $15 Maybelline cosmetics Q from the magic coupon machine!

    • awn

I am surprised that so many people think that the deals lately at CVS aren't great-the deal buying pg products and getting the ts3 dvd fro 3.99 was great-esp if you had a $5/30 coupon-my friend did , but I just used the mailer from pg for $1/charmin-it is cheaper per roll than even costco and sams on sale. Then you can send in for 2 rebates-raovac and cambells soup-and MAKE $ on the ts3 dvd, and add some products from the clearance rack. Also, free kids battery toothbrush, body wash and deodorant this week too-lysol is great for the cold season this upcoming week

      • Pat

How do you come up with free toothbrush, body wash and deodorant?

      • Mcleodsc

Where are you finding Rayovac batteries? I cannot find a store that sells them.

        • meme

I don't know if you will see this post, but Ingles has Rayovac batteries. Anderson, SC stores do anyway, not sure about other stores. They are finicky about printed coupons for Rayovac, so you may have to get them in several transactions if you are purchasing with internet coupons.

          • Mcleodsc

Thanks-I am in Sumter and I do not think we have an Ingles. Maybe I will take a quick trip to Columbia and see if I can find them there.

        • Lharris76

I purchased my batteries at Wal-mart. Hope this helps!

    • Southernprincess_1998

I'm a little confused about the Lysol/jetdry scenario. The ad read $5 ecb wyb $15 in products. Isn't this before coupons? So I'm confused at Jenny's scenario of $10 due at checkut, using the $5 in coupons and still getting the $5 ECB's. I'm new to this, so if anyone can explain it I'd apprieciate it.

      • Amy J.

Yes, the $15 purchase of the Lysol / JetDry products is before coupons.

The ECB's print out on your receipt once your transaction is complete, therefore you'd still owe the $10 + tax out of pocket, unless you have ECB's from previous trips. You can then use the $5 ECB's from the Lysol/JetDry deal on your next transaction. Does that help? If not, let me know and I'll try to help!

        • Amy J.

forgot to say that you would owe the $10 (+ tax) OOP (out of pocket) after the $5 in manufacturer coupons are taken off…..

    • Tracie

Looking for 2 of these Q's:

$2 off Got2b Hair Styling products, October All You Mag.

$2 off Got2b product, full size, (Facebook) printable

      • Lsmith3377

Yes, can someone please tell me also, where on the facebook page is the link for the coupon. I have been to that page a hundred times looking for it and can not find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • KCoral15

      Todays purchase:

      2-Halls cough drops ($1/2 q)

      2-Excedrin (2-$1qs)

      2-Dayquil (2- $1.50 qs)

      2-Trident layers ($1/2 q)

      1-Noxzema (3ecbs I needed to roll)

also used the $5q for the medicine from the red box

      Total: $8.05 , $9.21 after taxes!!!!

      Saved today:$26.86!

    • Haleyanne21

The CVS here in Commerce, Ga would not let me get the Excedrin Menstral, has anyone else tried to get it on the sale? Had a productive trip tho

      5 Gain dish soap

      5 Excedrin

      2 halls cough drops

      Total with tax : 3.53

      • Kel

Same issue- was ringing up $6.99 so they said it wasn't pictured so it wasn't included – despite the fact that the Back and Body wasn't pictured but worked!

        • Mcleodsc

It wasn't marked so I scanned it at the red machine. It wasn't included in the sale apparently. So glad I checked first. I added 1 bag of cough drops to make it over the $15. Not free but still a good deal.

      • Emornout

I had the same problem.I told the manager that the flyer did not say excludes menstrual. He said it was not in the computer but he would give it to me at that price as well.

    • Amy J.

Although not an exciting CVS week, I still did well today…..

did the Glade deal: 1 scented oil candle holder, 1 scented oil candles 4pk & 2 candles 4oz. each (Q's: $1, $1 & $1.50/2), 1 Gain dish soap ($1 q, although register beeped and cashier took off 99cents) and 3 clearanced Halloween items (25cents each), used $7 ECB's, paid 25cents + tax for a total oop of $1.07, got back $3 ecb and still have another $4 ecb from last week. saved $20.77…..paid only 13cents per item.

    • Casey S.

If it's B1G1, can you still use 2 coupons?

      • DonnaTN

As long as the coupons states $/1

      • Meghan

yes, you can use a coupon for the one you had to purchase to get the free one. for example, you get 2 candles and use the B1G1 coupon and a $1/1 for the candle you actually had to purchase.

    • DonnaTN

I had a better deal on the Glade scenerio, I bought 4 candles and used the 2 B1G1 4 oz jar candles along with a 1.50/2 and paid 3.50/4 and got $3 ECB's back!

      • Candleladynina

When and where was the B1G1 jar candle coupon?

        • DonnaTN

I'm sorry, I don't really keep records of the dates and what inserts. That way is too much of a hassle for me. I categorize mine so I know what I have in all. It was about a month ago when it came out is all I can tell you. Sorry.

      • Melissa

I think the glade BIGI expired on Saturday (the 6th)

        • Freedomspardley1

Lots of stores take expired coupons within a week or two of expiration. You should always check with your store before tossing the expired coupons.

        • DonnaTN

I went on the 6th to purchase them so they were still good and my cvs will take expired coupons anyway so I will be able to do it again this Sat.

    • Kathy J.

Wasn't going to go to CVS for the Xtra Deal, since I didn't have any coupons. But happen to run in the DOllar General to get something quick and found $1 off 1 Xtra blinkie. Took a few and went to CVS, worked like a charm.

So in South Ga, there are $1 off 1 XTRA detergent blinkies.

    • Guest

I bought a paper from the News and Observer box today. Half the coupons were missing. I called the carrier. People are stealing the coupons out of the papers. He said it is a big problem in our area. He suggested I buy from a station nearby where the paper box is close to the cashier. So be careful when you buy a paper.

      • Raynesmw

I have found one specific station I go to on Sundays. I always stand at the register and check my papers. I did have to call one time and they sent me the flyers through the mail. I got them by Tuesday of that week. It stinks that people are stealing coupons!!!

    • Mollyweeks678

I forgot to ring up 2 transactions at CVS, my first time, and I received the $5 off coupon on lysol and finish products.. Can I take it back to the store with my receipt to get a refund of $5??

      • Meghan

yes, just explain what happened and take your bag of stuff with you in case they want to refund the entire transaction and re-ring it….however, they should just be able to get you your refund without all that headache. good luck.

    • Valeriems1

hi, I am having trouble finding the coupon for the $10 off the freestyle meter, does anyone know what page the coupon is on or if not everyone got them? Thanks

      • Organical1

        first page

    • webby

I found a $3/3 tear pad at my CVS today in the holiday section for Glade Holiday scents candles, sprays, and oil candle refills.

    • ashley

I bought the freestyle freedom lite glucose test, 2 pk of colgate toothbrushes and 2 aquafresh toothpastes, total before coupons was like 25 something and i have a $4/20, $10 for glucose meter, $1 for toothbrushes, (2) $1 for toothpaste and I used 9 ecb. ended up adding in a filler item and paid .06 oop…got back 7 ecb…it was a good day!! I learned something new a few days ago, I use to give my manf. Q first then my ecbs and i always ended up paying all of the taxes but when you put your ecbs first, manf Q can actually pay the taxes. and i only paid .06 when i know the taxes were more than that. is this ok to do? i certainly dont want to cheat CVS

      • Meghan

yes, it depends on how your state does taxes! Here in GA you can use the ECBs and then the coupons to get the subtotal to a negative number and when the tax is added back in you just pay that!! It's not cheating them, because remember they get reimbursed for every ECB and coupon submitted so enjoy your savings and don't feel guilty!!!

    • Couponqueen120

why? why? why? did i spend two hours looking for coupons for cvs and absolutley NOT ONE coupon was there!!!!!!!!!!!!! i missed some serious family time!!!!!!!

      • Susie

It may be helpful if you look at the coupon variations on Southern Savers. If your paper is listed you can check that quickly to see if you have the coupon. Sorry you missed family time!

    • Mcdowels

The Magic Machine gave me a $1 off GE Reveal light bulb, and using the $1 MQ and sale, got it for only .99. I really had a great day using some of my high dollar $ off $. Paid about $7 for about $80 of products. Just keeping looking through the list and matching what you need. It can be agood week. Love CVS!!!!

    • Pndbear2003

When the ad says that you need to purchase $15 to get $5 in ECB is that before or after coupons?

      • Candleladynina

    • savNky

Has anyone purchased the 13″ Craig TV for $99? Is it decent?

      • i have a 17 i bought last yr for my sons rm for 99 and we use it daily its great….no samsung though!!!

      • Sangurkie

I purchased the 15″ in the spring for my son's room. I have it hooked up to an upconvert DVD player with HDMI cables and the picture is wonderful. We have not had any issues and he watches it daily.

    • eb

My box for the freestyle meter had a mail in rebate, so I was able to get it for free (and it helped me to get to my $30 total to use my $5/30), and I can send in for the rebate – meanwhile I donated the meter to someone who really needed one. A great deal all around.

    • Caroline

The Johns Island SC store has the Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color for 5.99 with $2 ECB, with the $2 PG coupon it is only 1.99.

    • applejuicecook

Was in CVS last night – the redbox spit out 3 coupons – $1 off a GE Energy Smart, which made it $1.99, & I had a manu Q so i got the normally $5 light bulb for $.99! Also, a great “$5 off a $15 healthcare” purchase (made the Abreva for me only $9) and $1 off a CVS 8 oz hand sanitizer. Not a bad haul! I had other deals & ended up really doing well.

      • Ladybugpam

I am new to this and haven't done CVS yet w/coupons. Are you telling me that the redbox mpvie rental machines there spit out coupons?

        • ashley

haha as cool as that would be, no. she means the tall red machine thats in cvs usually just as you walk in the door or in front of you somewhere close to the entrance. you can scan your card and it spits out coupons or you can use it to scan barcodes to look up prices on items. HTH

          • Ladybugpam

haha, I feel so silly! *blushes*

I figured that out after reading a few more posts.thanks, tho:)

    • I wasn't that excited about this week's ad, but I decided to check if they had gotten any Oral-B Vitality toothbrushes in so I could finally use my rainchecks. Luckily my local CVS is AWESOME and they happily accepted my expired P&G $10 off Qs. I ended up getting $115 worth of stuff for only $13. Guess this week wasn't so crappy after all! :-) Click my name for the photo & detailed transaction info.

    • Cristy

I didnt see this mentioned in a quick scan thru the comments:

Mebelline NY Foundation $3 off in the 11/7 paper and RP printable.
      Spend $10 get 3ECB

      $7 with $3 ECB makes it $4

      Has anyone tried this foundation?

      • Brandyandtravis

I use the Dream Matte mouse and it is AMAZING~

    • Amy

My CVS has 2 red boxes and neither one is working! One has been out of commission for awhile, the other was out of ink and the manager couldn't get it to work. Oh the deals I missed out on!

      • Fallaya

I would call the corporate office if I was you. The manager should be maintaining those red boxes much better than that!!

    • Jason

Does anybody know what CVS means when they say you get double extra bucks on diabetes related products if you sign up for extracare for diabetes? Does this means you get double ECB like on the meters? Thanks.

      • Fallaya

Instead of earning 2% for each purchase you make at CVS, you'll earn 4%.

        • Fallaya

4% on DIABETES-RELATED items, that is!

    • Fallaya

      I NEED HELP:

Does anyone know if you can use ECB's for online purchases, and if you earn ECB's for online purchases??

    • Megs

Just found out that my CVS does not take coupons printed from Target's website, even if it says “manufacturer coupon” across the top. Cashier said they take Walgreen's store coupons, but not Walgreen's manufacturer coupons (didn't know there was such a thing?) so she didn't think she was supposed to accept the Target one I gave her. No big deal since the kids' vitamins were already free and it was only $1. Just know store policies do vary.

    • Fallaya

      • Guest

The 5/15 is only supposed to be for the advertised products on pages 2 and 3. You're not supposed to use it on just anything you feel like.

        • Guest2

Maybe she had a $5/$15 for any purchase in the store — I had a $4/20.

        • tygirl13

The halls, excedrin, and nyquil are on pages 2 and 3…..so she didn't just use it on whatever she wants…

        • nina21007

I did get the products on pages 2 and 3…sorry if I wasn't specific enough or writing the products I got weren't clear…

$5/15-on products pictured in the ad

      • FreedomSpradley1

Could you not use the -$5/2 Excedrine CVS coupon too? You purchased 4 excedrin.

    • Linda

My kmart ad has a $1 off folgers which would go with the sale of folgers it's also a manufacturer's coupon but expires 11/13/10!

    • Pndbear2003

I found a tearpad coupon for Hall's in my Food Lion that was BOGO for a bag of 30 ct. or higher.

    • wendyc33

has anyone used their $5/15 cvs coupon yet. and if so what kind of good scenarios are there for low oop. Thanks

      • Cathy mennitt

used it for the 25 dollar 42 count zegerid. also 5 manu. and scan your card and saved another 5. total 11 spent.

    • Nbasshelton

I love cvs!!

    • dculick

Is the Revlon Double Twist Mascara considered a Revlon Color Cosmetic Product?

      • Absolutely. I can't see why not, although I'm sure there's some cranky cashier out there somewhere who would be willing to argue the point.

      • Jjpainter2005

I would say no….a think a color product is just that….a product with color. It will probably work on eye shadows, blushes, and lip stick.

        • Guest

Mascara has a color – either black or brown.

    • meme

I am having one of those nights! Can't figure facebook out again. I want to get the Got2B coupon (we love this product for the grandkids beautiful hair) and I can't find where to print it. Can someone please guide me with a few steps to get to the coupon? Thanks zillions!

    • Kawee02

Thanks Jenny!! Since I had some ECB's from the Lysol products, I got 3 boxes of tissues, 2 tubes of toothpaste and 6 bars of soap for 3 cents plus tax. That was awesome! Cutting coupons has become my hobby!

    • Ashlee

Where is the $5 off $15 coupon? I see it mentioned in the deal scenerios but can't find it?

      • Mandi

It is printing from the kiosk machine in your store.

        • Ashlee

          Thanks, Mandi!

    • Didn't find a lot at CVS this week, but I did get a coupole of steals. Working on creating gift baskets for family members for Xmas so I was able to get 4 Glade candles for free, and some decaf folgers too. Success!

    • Mlow1

I have a coupon that I got from CVS machine last week that is $2 off $10 skin care.. does that include makeup? If not does anyone have any good suggestions of how I could use it?

    • Couponj

Has anyone had the cashier not take ECB because it was over the tax amount? This never happened to me before… after coupons my total was 12.79 and I had two ECBs to use… they took the first for 7.49 and then said they couldn't take my second for $5 because “it would only take off 3.95 since the rest was tax”. I know I've used ECB towards tax before… paying 8 cents and such… I didn't argue and just took my ECB back but I am really confused!

      • Jenn

I have only been able to use ECB's towards my subtotal, not tax. I've always had to pay tax out of pocket.

      • Guest

Normally the register will only accept ecbs for up to and including the subtotal amount before tax. The cashier does have the ability to adjust the value of the ecb down if necessary – after all it does say 'UP TO' whatever amount value. If your order includes some bogo items, the register will allow your ecbs to eat into the tax for some reason. And if you have them start scanning your items before they scan your card, the register will let your ecbs eat into your tax. It's strange but it works.

      • Guest

Give your ecbs first and then manuf. coupons…. manf. Qs can pay for tax.

    • Brandyandtravis

If you go to Dollar General there is a Blinkie for $1.00 off Xtra detergent in the detergent isle. CVS has the 28 load count on sale for $1.49. LIMIT 5. I got my 5 fo $3.12 OOP! Going back to another CVS tonite. I live in Dothan, AL and my Mom lived in Cullman AL and the coupons were plentiful in both cities!!! Good luck!

    • bets

Will the $3 off 3 glade winter collection work with any of the glade products? Found a lot of tearpads for these, but the winter collection isn't part of the deal this week. Just wondering if they would still work.

      • Guest

You should only use the coupon for the items indicated as being valid for the coupon. Any other usage is inappropriate and could be declined by the cashier.

      • Crafty_cat_86

You can buy the winter collection for the deal. I brought it to price check, just to be sure. I got the candles from the winter collection and got the sale price and the ECBs no problem.

    • MommyOf3

I walked out of CVS today with (2) Lysol Neutra Air,(2) Lysol disenfecting wipes 80ct,(2) Jet Dry rinse, and (1) FreeStyle Freedom Lite Blood Glucose System, and (2) candy bars(for hubby) for a total of 79 cents out of pocket.I received 5 ECB's and a $4 off $20 purchase coupon print-out on my receipt! WooHoo!

    • msivory20

Does anyone know if the Lysol Neutra Air Aerosol Can is a part of the deal this week? I have a $1.50 off coupon but it specifies the “Aerosol” part.

      • April6

Yes mine did. (Commerce, GA) And I had that same coupon. It worked.

        • msivory20

Awesome, I'm in Commerce too :)

          • CHI

            Me three.

      • MaryB

in tiny print but yes, I went today and it had a sale tag on it.

    • Ladybugpam

does CVS take competitor's coupons? I am gathering from these posts that each store has different “rules” according to which cashier/mgr you get? I'm trying to get Halls and the GE bulbs for cheap, but I only have competitor's q's, no printables or newspaper inserts:(

      • Alyson

They don't accept competitor coupons. Sorry :(

      • Crafty_cat_86

The second or third time I scanned my card, it printed a $1 off q for the GE bulbs. There are manu. q's in 10/3 and 11/7 inserts for $1 off (you MAY still be able to find that paper, 11/7, in stores).

    • happy feet

Help! I accidently cut the exp. date off my Excedrin coupons. Can someone tell me where i can print some more? :o(

    • Sottimo

does anyone know where I can find the gain coupon online somewhere?

      • macboy

    • Susan

Can I use two coupons for a B1G1 at CVS? If so, with the $3.00 coupon on the Lysol Healthy touch which is regularly $8.00, you can get 2 for $2.00. That would be a really good deal.

      • msivory20

According to the “Almost Official Coupon Policy” that Jenny has posted at the top of the CVs page, you should be allowed 2 man. coupons for B1G1 deals.

    • Rachel

Sadly i'm getting sick but the good news is my transaction at CVS :)

2 Nyquil cold and flu liquid caps 9.00

1 Dayquil cold and flu liquid caps 4.50

      1 Halls strawberry 1.99

      – 1 $5 off $15

      – 1 $1.50 off Nyquil

      – 1 $1.50 off Dayquil

      – 1 $1.00 off any vicks product

      – $3 ECB

      = 3.49

      tax and all = 4.43

plus $3 ECB back and a total savings of 15.57 :)

    • di

does anyone know if the early previews newspapers are out?

      • Mom of 4

Usually CVS comes out on Thursdays… go to CVS.com

    • Rlpicker

where can I find coupons for prescriptions?

      • msivory20

Some name-brand drugs will have coupons/discounts on their websites.

      • ladybugpam

rite aid coupon booklet! get a printout voucher for one by watching a video value video! the booklet has 2 of them!! they are each for a $25 giftcard with a new or transferred script!!! that makes $50 of free stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *you may be able to tell that I am slightly excited about this offer;)

    • Dito

The big red machine gave me a $5 off purchase of 2 excedrin and a $5 off $15 for the purchases on pg 2 & 3. I then bought 8 excedrin used 8 $1 off coupons bought 4 caramels for filler and paid .39 Total saving $42.82. Nice!

      • Mom of 4

I got the excedrin coupon too… and since they are on sale for $2.00 each…. it was a $1.00 money maker. I bought 4 glade candles, 2 excedrin, and one gallon of milk (we needed it and I needed to spend at least one more dollar to use my $5 of $15.00 purchase). I used my $5 off $15, $5 off excedrine, (2) 1.50 off glade candles…. paid $4.23 and got back $3 in WCB…. so after ECB… I got it all cheaper that the milk would have been alone =)

    • CouponDiva39

I found an Advil/congestion printable coupon also

    • Dianahouseoflite

My Extra Bucks expired on 11/09/10. Does CVS let this slide or are they really stick on the expiration date? Just curious. Thanks!

      • msivory20

From what I have read from others on here, it seems that they are usually sticklers about the ECB exp. dates, but there are always exceptions and it doesn't hurt to ask!

      • LeAnna

If you feel th manager is coupon friendly-I would ask them. IF not..I would get the DM's # and call them. Once I had to go out of town for 3 weeks and my ecbs expired. The DM told me that he would let it go if it was only a week or so old. However some pple have used them up to a month old! Give it a try!

      • Sarah

Definitely ask. The CVS I go to will take expired ECB's as long as it is within a week or so. Every store is different, but it never hurts to ask! If the first CVS you try won't take them you might want to try another store.

        • Nathan

I've used ones that are 1 day expired with no problem, only issue is they have to get the manager override to get it through.

    • Ladybugpam

what are the rules for $1 off 2 coupons when you take into account that you can use both manu and store q's?

      • macboy

You buy two items. The $1/2 covers that. Assuming that you want to use a store coupon on top of that, you can do that.

    • 4coupons4

Hi, Im new to CVS and just recently got a card so I could get some of these deals Jenny posts. Does anyone know if my card will work to print the 5 off 15 coupons? I would like to start using it for some of the deals here, but the cashier had told me it could take weeks before I would get any coupons to print from the machine… And if thats true is there any way to speed up the process?

      • momof3inATL

Go in daily/often… if there is one convenient. Every time I'm in the store I get a $3 off of $10 purchase. 30% discount coupled with my q's and ecbs.. I rarely spend over 2.50 OOP on a 10(ish) purchase.

      • eb

it seems kind of random to me. My sister and I shop at the same time and she gets a $3 off $15 almost every time she scans her card and I get something like that about once every 3 months. It could be related to how long she has had the card, she got it about 4 years ago but never shopped there much until we started doing it this summer. So we have the same frequency now, but her card is older than mine.

    • Kcgardner

confessing I'm not a math mind up front: I am always unsure as to the order I should to my transactions in considering my coupons. In other words, the best way to spend the least oop?
Thanks for any help with this.

    • Kcgardner

*do* my transactions in…not the best typer either? : /

    • Mary

Does anyone know where I can get anymore excedrin coupons? None of the printing links work, it says this campaign is over? I have 2 that I clipped but I would like more to do the scenario…

      • Alissa Thompson

There are $1 off coupons for Excedrin in the 10/17 ss. I just stocked up on those earlier this evening.

      • Mitchellkramb

Ugh,,, I have a tonnnnn of $2 off any Excedrin product just sitting here lol. They're from a little Kroger brochure – found them probably 6 months ago. They exp 12/31 I think.

    • Guest

idk what I did but apparently i did something write. cvs has sent me either 4 or 5 dollars off of a purchase and 20% percent off coupons for about a month and a half…every week i've gotten one. this is nice especially since i can print them multiple times and use them at publix…works for me… I LOVE CVS (and publix) :)

      • Guest

I mean right* not write…haha i passed english in high school i swear!

      • Emornout

have you been able to use your 20% coupons. I feel like everything that I want in is on sale and I can never use them :(

        • Guest

well i have 2 babies under 2 and both still in diapers so i buy 2 boxes of diapers, use the 20%, a store coupon that they mailed me fore 3 dollats off and 2 manuf. q's. thats about all i could find that it would benefit me to use it on. everything else i buy is from sales lol and publix wouldnt let me use any coupon that was a percent off so that one wasnt that great..i like the $/$$ better!

          • Guest

I just realized how many things i spelled wrong. haha it shows that i have 2 babies, im way too distracted to even watch my mistakes haha

          • Renee

    • Crystil Olson

Doesw CVS take the computer printed coupons? I know some stores have told me they dont accept them, but I've never tried CVS.

      • tygirl13

I have never had any problem using them at CVS and don't remember seeing anyone post on the comments about having problems. Usually as long as it scans they will take it – if it doesn't scan they usually won't key it in manually. You can always call your local stores and ask, they should be able to tell you. HTH.

    • Tabby

woohoo just got 16 bottles of Xtra detergent for…..$0.91 !

    • HaydenRossi

Not that this will help too many people, but I had an awesome trip to CVS this week. I bought 3 Garnier products (shampoo, conditioner, curl-sculpting cream), 2 Glade candleholders and 2 scented oil candle packs, 2 Nestle chocolate chips and 24-ct. Advil. Used 10 coupons (including free Advil and a CVS $5off of $25 purchase. Used $7.99 in ECB, paid $2.14 OOP–and got $3 ECB for the next trip. Awesome!! Thanks for posting all the great coupon matchups for us!
