Jenny- I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I sent you an email several days ago. I know you said it was easier to contact you here, but it's not an everyday comment. If you get a minute- could you please check for an email from me (address begins with drgnfly….)
Thanks so much for all you do! I had a great trip today. Publix, CVS, and Rite-Aid. My cashiers were amazed. I gave them your site :-)

Isn't there a rebate in one of the recent Sunday supplements for Schick Quattro Titanium? I don't know if that expired. If it hasn't, it's hard to beat free ECB's.

      • Feeding 6

Yes and I believe it expires 3/14.

      • mine expired on 3/6 or 3/9…can't remember but I know it is definitely expired already.

    • Darla

If you are buying any of the Glade Fragrance products, make sure to scan your card on the price checker. A couple days ago a CVS coupon for $3.00 off any Glade Fragrance product printed out. This will sweeten the deal even more.

      • Krista_A

I used this today with 2 – $3 manu. coupons on the sense and spray, had $3 ECB to use also, oop was $0.64, got back $4 ECB!!! I love CVS and Jenny!

    • Tina

Jenny, thanks so much for your great work. For the Purex B1G1 deal, can we use the B1G1 manufacturer Q from 2/21?

      • MomOf4Blessings

Tina, my Purex B1G1 coupon expired on 3/6. If your store takes expired coupons, it might work.

        • vickeya

My store takes expired coupons up to a couple weeks old. I used four bogo coupons today and scored 8 bottles of free Purex.

    • MomOf4Blessings

Jenny, on the link for the Degree deodorant coupons, there was also a $3/2 for Dove deodorants. Will the Dove deodorants work for this deal also?

Also, I believe the profit on the Stayfree deal is $2.22 instead of $1.22…..even better!

      Thank you!

      • Marlene

the sale excludes the dove ultimate so it won't work on these – too bad

Actually it says it won't work on Ultimate CLEAR or Ultra Clear Dove products, so those coupons should still be okay. Take a

        • angelahanshew

Where I live at there is no such of a sell on this…..

          • Ann

There will be a SALE on this when you check during the proper dates as Jenny listed at the heading of this entry. Please be careful. You are being ugly to a very sweet lady and making yourself look foolish.

      • angelahanshew

Good luck on using the information that was given by Southern Savers on the deoderants at CVS. Here where I live there is not a sell going on with any of the deoderants, gum or Aussie shanpoo. Dont really know what happen if she got her dates wrong or not. Let me know if you find anything out on this. Would love to use my coupons that I was directed by southern savers to print and use a CVS. Now all I did was waste ink….

        • Carrie

Did you already go to the store to check out the sales or were you able to get a flyer early for next weeks sales that you were looking at? I'm just asking because the sales that Jenny posted will not start officially until tomorrow, so if you have already gone to the store then that is why you didn't find any of the sales she mentioned going on.

        • Ann

Perhaps there is a site out there that is a little less confusing for you. Most of us read the titles of Jenny's entries and understand that there are different regions for these national chain stores and thereby, variations in price, etc. We value Jenny's ministry and would encourage you to look elsewhere if this is not to your liking rather than incorrectly disparage the information on this fantastic site.

        • elisa

I'm not sure where you live, but it seems like the sales have been valid everywhere else. I felt more sympathetic toward you earlier, because I remember how many times similar things happened to me when I first started couponing, BUT to be perfectly clear it was almost entirely because of MY unfamiliarity with the whole system, as appears to be the problem you're having, seeing that you are attempting to purchase these items before the sale starts.
Jenny's does an amazing job at posting these ads and matching up the coupons. The times I've gone into the store and discovered the items were not marked on sale, I simply ask the casheir to check and it turns out they are.
I really don't understand why you would spend your time coming here just to complain.

          • angelahanshew

Instead of emailing me with your complaint's why not be an understanding human and know that we all make mistakes . Try to help someone out instead of treating them as you are. I misread the information due to she already had it on the site before the date. So when I went to see this weeks sales I saw the next weeks by mistake. If I continue to have emails such as this one and from others the view this site I will contact the owner some how. Since I did not email you with this type of disrespectful nature. I voiced it on her site. I still said on the message that I am a huge fan still. We all make mistakes. WE ARE ONLY HUMANS NOT THE ALMIGHTY HIMSELF. Hopefully next time you also put into consideration that someone else could read the rude messages and might not need to see or hear things in this nature. Thank you for voicing your opinion . I forgive you for being disrespectful to someone you don't even know.

            • carolyn090

hi ,when you leave a comment at the bottom of the little box in grey leave the subscribe to comments by email un checked.if you check the box that is how replys are being sent to your email,no one has your address ,it is a new system jenny added to make it easier to communicate w/ each other .for example if you have a ? you dont have to keep checking back for a reply. if someone leaves a reply it will be sent to your email. i think w/ so many comments that were made all over the place, mabe we all felt like you were well, to put it bluntly ,you were calling her a liar and all of us idiots for following her.this site has helped so many ,and some have said that it changed their life,so that is why so many people took it personal. we all need to remember that couponing is suppose to be fun ! if i offended you i am sorry . carolyn

            • guest

Excellent points! Please reread your original (and multiple) posts and I think you will see that the perceived disrespect prompted supporters of Jenny to defend her and the site. Glad you see that it was your mistake and that all will be well. There is definitely a learning curve to all of this!

    • Carolyn

I received my CVS insert yesterday and it doesn't say anything about ->get $3 ECB wyb $10 Easter Candy Limit 2. I'm in Jacksonville, FL.

      • angelahanshew

In TN mine did, but the sells that SS is saying about the deoderant, orbit gum, Aussie shanpoo is not true…. The manager said that this info on this website is not something we should depend on. That we sould ask the CVS personal before we get started to make sure that it is what is on sell.

        • MomOf4Blessings

Are you sure you're looking at the ad that starts tomorrow (3/14)? Your manager might not know about next week's deals yet.

        • Dianne

Just got my CVS flyer in the Sunday early edition of the AJC, and all the deals are there!!!

        • angela

Wow Jenny I live in TN and it seems you are always so helpful in your CVS ad matchups! We are so grateful for your service to us! I truly think of it as a ministry to my family! I am thankful for all the information you provide at NO COST to all of us. God bless you and your family!

    • ginnyw

Just a heads up! I was at Walmart yesterday (buying mulch not groceries) and saw that they have their degree mens deoderant on sale for $1.97. This would make a good deal with the coupons that are out!

    • amy

Got an email from CVS this morning w/ a $4/$20!! Can't wait to stock up on deo!!

    • mandy

There are some great printables for Kashi on target.com…they are manuf. coupons! For example, buy 2 cereals, get one cereal/box of crackers/or cereal bars free! Use this coupon with (2) of the cereal coupons & u have a great deal!!
      Buy (3) Kashi Cereals = $7.50
Use: (1) Buy 2 cereals, get 1 free
Use: (2) $1.50 off one box of cereal

      Total = $2.00 plus tax!!!

      • 3monkeysmom

YOU are my new best friend!! I LOVE Kashi :-)
Do you know if CVS will take these with the Target logo on it? I know it's a manuf. coupon but I've never tried one with another store's logo on it at CVS. Not sure how picky they will be about that.

        • mandy

          Glad I could help, 3monkeysom ;)

Honestly, I was wondering about that, also. I've used a “save-a-lot” manuf. coupon before & they took that one. I think if they say something, I'll just point it out that is says it's a manuf coupon. Usually, they just scan them & only really look at the coupon if it beeps. I would give it a try. It is a manuf coupon, not a target coupon.

          • Carrie

I've tried using Save-A-Lot coupons as well and was told no. Even after I pointed to where it says “manufacturer coupon”, I was told that it is really meant just for Save-A-Lot and therefore I can't use it at CVS.

          • SusanStauffer

This is one of those YMMV (your mileage may vary). Some CVS will take them as long as they are Man q's, even with a different store logo. Some will not.

        • WynetteC

Depends on the store and their understanding of coupons. I have used Sav-A-Lot and Target at my CVS, and on the other hand other stores(Wal-Mart, Kroger)have rejected them. Hopefully you will be allowed to use them without hassle.

    • Robin

      Hi Jenny,
I have the coupon FREE Gillette Fusion Razor wyb Gillette Fusion Cartridge Pack, PG 3/07. Do you think that if I went to CVS tomorrow (Saturday) I could get the $4 ECB for the razor plus the $3 ECB for the cartridges (One is in the week's ad and one is in next weeks)?
Thanks for all your hard work!

      • Yes. You probably can :)

        • Robin

          Thanks Jenny,
If I have time I'll try to make it over there tomorrow evening and see if it works

      • AKLLHOLL

At anytime on Sat or just right before closing? Do Sunday sales start late Sat night at most CVS stores? Someone totally buys out all the CVS, WAGS and Kroger deals the day sales start in Tupelo, MS and since I work full time I totally miss out most weeks. I might have a chance if I can go early.

        • Robin

If your CVS is not a 24 hr one you can usually shop after 6pm on Sat for Sunday's deals.

          • Lori

I normally go around lunch time on Saturday and they already have their Sunday items on sale.

        • WynetteC

Save yourself the gas and always call your CVS store first, before assuming that they will start the new ad automatically. This is routine for me, and as for this week, all three CVS stores within 10-20 miles of me said they were NOT going to start the new ad early for today (Saturday). And it varies every week. One week my fave store started it as early as 2pm on Saturday. Just depends on the individual who sets the computer in motion at each indivual store. Hope this helps. :)

      • carolyn090

if i try it whats the total oop on the razor ,cartriges deal you listed? 9.99 for both right? also we dont have anything on the cartriges do we?

      • TiyaC

I did this deal tonight. Although the cartridges were 14.99 instead of 9.99. I used $14 in ECBs and just paid $.99+tax. I got back the $7 in ECBs.

    • Erin

Does anyone know how to get the aveeno coupon and rebate to work, I have signed in but can't find them anywhere to print out. Thanks

    • I didn't know if you knew there was a $10.00 off coupon on The Princess and the Frog on one of the Disney sites.

    • texassaver

aargh! I hate it when I get a $5 off 30 coupon or something like that on a week when there is NOTHING I need or use at all. Oh well… there's always next time.

      • Carolyn

        I received the same!

      • Lori

At least you got a coupon! They haven't sent me one in forever and I have called and everything! My cvs let's you use any CVS coupon one week after it expires, so maybe if yours does, you can use it next week!

      • Misty

well I keep getting $10/$50 and I NEVER spend that much in one week at CVS. I have gotten like 8 of them. And I can't use them at publix because they are printed likie a receipt and they say you have to have your extracare card to get the savings. Would love to be able to get that at the Grocers!

        • Lori

When my Publix use to take CVS coupons they would always take the ones printed on the receipt!

        • WynetteC

I know that seems high, but it is a money maker coupon if used right with sale items (that give back ECBs) & coupons.I have not received any $$ off $$ coupons since last year.

          • dianebenatar

I haven't gotten any great coupons from CVS in ages, either. I totally understand it, though. Even though I buy BAGS of 'stuff' from them, I really don't spend any real money to mention. I'd assume they send those coupons out to people who really spend money with them. I can't really complain.

        • Brooke82

You can use them on the deals where you get ECB's for higher priced items. Things like Olay products, etc. That's the only thing I can think of!

        • Amanda

I have only gotten 10/50 too! So frustrating…… I thought I was the only one.

    • julie

I received a glade $4.00 off when I scanned my cvs card last week. Can I use that along with a manufacturer's coupon?

      • Marina115

If it say's any glade product then Yes you can!! :)

      • kelly1369

Yes, I did that with the baby wipes when they had that non-advertised deal. The coupons that print from the machines are CVS coupons so they can be stacked with a manufacturer's coupon! You are lucky! That's a great deal!!!

    • jacksonat25

The B1G1 cover girl i have says face products. CAn that be used for lip products or will that just depend on if the cashier will take it? Thanks.

      • Marina115

It depends on the cashier but I think their intention was for items like foundation. Although I did see a lady using it for eyeliner. So it would be up to you. good luck. :)

      • Natalie559

Lips are part of the face so I would use it. I used mine with a mascara and powder combo.

      • Jennie

I'm extremely sure that the coupon was meant for face only products, meaning foundation and powder. For the lady who said that lips are on her face, whatever. Happy CVS-ing!

      • Emily

I thought it would include the lipstick b/c I too figured lips were on my face. But they said no–that lips and face are two different categories. I didn't push it. Your store may differ–mine seems to challenge every little thing when they see my coupons.

      • ireneY

The Q is definitely worded vaguely. I can't think of any CG products that's NOT applied to the face. If anyone is applying it elsewhere, that's a personal issue!! :0)

        • diane

      • Guest

Covergirl divides their makeup into 4 categories: face, lips, eyes and nails. So when they put out a coupon for face products, I would think that they do not mean lips, eyes or nails, but only face produts. ie blush, foundation, powder, concealers….

      • SusanStauffer

My CVS took it, no problem. North Florida. :)

    • Barb

If I do transaction #1 can I also use a $3 off $15 purchase that CVS emailed me?

      • Yes. You can. it would make your total due: $3…Don't know if you planned to also pay with $5 ecb (like the example)…but that would be wasting 2ECB. If you use the coupon and plan to pay with ECBs make sure your not losing them, add a filler item.

      • Brooke82

Yes you can! That's great…you are lucky!

    • Ann

Hello – FYI – the CVS ad only excludes the Ultimate Clear and Ultra Clear. There are other Dove “Ultimate” products that should be included in this sale. There is a $2/1 Ultimate Deodorent Coupon that would make them free after ECB’s if you used 2 – $2/1 and 2- $3/2.
      Here’s the link for $2/1 http://www.dove.us/#/visiblysmooth/coupon.aspx

      • Amy J.

You ROCK! Thanx for the link, gonna check out the CVS ad and try these Q's tomorrow morning :-)

      • lily

Does anyone know or confirm that other Dove “Ultimate” products, excludes the Ultimate Clear and Ultra Clear, work for ECB? Thanks.

        • Jeri

At my store they only had the regular Dove on 2/$5. None of the ultimates were on sale…

          • sarahcas

It was the same at my store.

        • elisa

None of the Dove Ultimate products were part of the sale at my CVS–I even had the casheir ring it up just to make sure. Only regular Dove, unfortunately. =(

    • Al

If you have 2 CVS cards, can you use the ECBs from either for purchases? Or does it have to be from the same card?

      • dianebenatar

You need to use ECBs on a purchase made with the same card that earned them.

        • guest

That is correct – the register will only accept ecbs when you use them with the card that was used when you earned them. If you look toward the bottom of your ecbs, you will find the last 4 digits of the card number that was used when you earned them. This is very helpful for keeping things organized so that you do not mix up your ecbs if you have more than 1 card.

      • lucy2778

ECBs have to match the card.

    • Amanda

Went to Save-A-Lots page and couldn't find where to sign up for the home mailer. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

      • alissabeth

This was a sign up a while back.

    • Erin B.

So frustrating not to EVER receive emailed coupons from CVS. I’ve checked my on-line info – I’ve registered my card. I emailed CVS and asked why I don’t get these, and they replied saying that the coupons are emailed out based on your shopping habits. So why do I only get emails for on-line offers when I have NEVER bought anything from cvs.com and I NEVER get an in store coupon and I shop in-store about 2-4 times a month?

      • 3monkeysmom

I feel your pain. That's all I ever get too. I have never shopped at CVS online but go to CVS once a week. Meanwhile, my sister, who hardly ever goes to CVS got the in-store coupon. Go figure. I also emailed them and got the exact same response.
The only thing I can figure is maybe they are trying to lure the people into the stores who don't shop their frequently with those coupons. But my opinion is that they should be rewarded the people who shop their on a regular basis :-)

        • TMoney

That is how the CVS coupon works. They send coupons to try to get you to shop, whether it's online or in the store. I never get coupons and I'm there every week, sometimes more. My friend has not walked into a CVS for over a year and she got a coupon yesterday. They are trying to give her an incentive to shop and they know they already have my business. Doesn't seem fair, does it?

          • 3monkeysmom

Not at all fair! I love CVS but I can appreciate Rite Aid more when it comes to those types of coupons, they're readily available to anyone. I would probably buy more at CVS if I had those coupons.
Ooooh I just noticed the typo in my other comment. Should be “there” not “their.”
            Sorry, pet peeve :-)

            • 3monkeysmom

And “rewarding” not “rewarded.” I must have been tired, that's ridiculous. :-)

    • jerilyn

Yay degree! This is the only kind of deodorant my husband will use because the rest causes issues on his skin.

I plan on doing this deal after I do the cereal deal from last week (I got a rain check because they were out). But this is my first time- so I should do the cereal deal, get the $5 ecb and then do a different transaction to do the deodorant?

p.s. I’m so glad I’ve found southernsavers.com. I’ve read about cvs’ing but didn’t have enough brains or guts to figure out the deals on my own!

      • ItsACouponThing

Jerilyn, has your husband tried the invisible type before? I ask, because I've broken-out on a different brand of invisible solid deodorant. Just a caution, based on what you said.

    • hezal

Hey I bought 4 stayfree & Did as you wrote with cooupons but it only prints $2 extra bucks. instand of $8. I ask a cashier about it.
& he says he does not even know that there was an extra buck deal on it !!!!!!!

      • momma2mmc

It doesn't start till Sunday :(

      • jhoran

If you bought them today, friday mar. 12, they would still be on this week's sale. It happened to me also, I only received 2 ebc. When I bought them I checked the yellow tag to make sure that the limit was 4. Anyway, turns out the ebc not printing was a store problem and so they gave me back the 6 ebc. I noticed too that on the bottom of my receipt, it said that I had one more offer to my limit even though I had already used my 4 offer limits. The stayfree is also being offered for next week's deals.

    • Erin

hi! I am totally new to this. I want to get the 16 cent deodorant scenario. So, I have a Save $3 on two Dove sensitive care deodorants printable. I have two of those and I have one save $3 on two degree girl deodorants and i also have a save $1 on 1 degree deodorant coupon. I assume I should buy 2 degrees girls and 4 dove deodorants to get the deal. Does it matter that I have two printables that look the same? willthat total $15? Thanks so much!

      • Brooke82

That's what I planned on doing today. It equals out to be $15 and yes you can use the two coupons that look alike as long as they aren't copied…which I'm sure you just double printed them from the page like I did. Like I said I'm going later for this deal so I am assuming it works.

    • Gina

Hey gals…a word on the Purex 3-in-1 BOGO deal. If you go to the Purex website, you can printout a coupon for $1.00 off!! =)

    • robinsnest

it looks like on the attached CVS ad for the upcoming week that the $2 ECB on stayfree is not in there. this was posted last sunday…went in to buy and the CVS mgr didn't know what I was talking about. could this be for CVS stores in different areas?

      • dorisviall

The same thing happened to me so I didn't buy them

      • Brooke82

It probably is in certain areas…or the manager doesn't know what they are talking about lol

      • Kim

The Stayfree add is a MONTHLY deal that is not advertised. I've gone to 5 CVS's looking for it. I finally found a very nice manager today and asked her about it. She didn't know anything about it but was willing to scan it in the computer to check it for me, and it WORKED!!! It was NOT marked in ANY store, though. I live outside of Atlanta and I purchesed the Stayfree Max Regular 24 count for $3.79 each. Maybe you could ask your store manager to scan it and find out for you. She had to use a CVS store card(no mine) and pretend she was buying one to find out. Then, she voided the transaction. I hope this helps you like it helped me!

        • robinsnest

Thanks so much. I appreciate you taking the time to respond! Robin

    • Meme

If any read my post on WAGS site, sorry for the repeat. I wish to give any a “heads up” on something I was told at CVS yesterday. I use different color-coded bags to put my transactions in (to keep my brain from frying even more) and two of the personnel who know me told me if the Loss Management person was in the store and saw me putting items in the bags I would be charged with shoplifting. I asked what could he do about it if I had not attempted to leave the store and they both said “ALOT!”

I was incredulous. I couldn't believe any charges could be brought against me but they said he could have a “no trespassing” on any of their properties and all kinds of bad charges on me. I was truly stunned.

One of the ladies said she would give me the “heads up” if she saw him come in but I won't even use that method again. I never got a clear answer if could use very shallow sided open boxes. Give me a break!

      • rachelshaw

I have worked in loss prevention in retail before and I can not believe what they said to you!! As long as you have not left the building without purchasing the merchandise there is nothing that they could do to you. It is always up to the management to refuse service to anyone so they could have a no trespass warrant issued on anyone at anytime for any reason! If they wish, however it isn't good buisness to trespass their customers. As long as you are up front with the managment about what you are doing and why and you pay for your entire purchase then you should never have any worries. Sounds to me like the loss prevention person got tired of watching to make sure you weren't stealing and asked the other employees to do his job and since they knew you they told you about it. Just as a suggestion when I have several “deals” to get together at CVS or WAGS I usually will utilize several of their shopping baskets and separate each “deal” out then hand the cashier one basket at a time. I hope that this helps.

      • Chi

A couple of months back I saw a story on TV of an incident that happen in the Atlanta metro area. A lady bought a bunch of make-up paid for everything and got on her way (not a couponer). She was pulled over by a bunch of police cars and told that an employee of CVS (cashier, not management) called them and told them that she had stolen some perfume. They took her back to the store and review the security tapes and she dindn't stole anything. I think she ended up suing them for profiling. I'd be careful. Little things can easily escalate. I have never had a problem at CVS, but I have noticed people at Rite Aid following me.

        • Brooke82

That would be a nice settlement.

      • tracy99

That is awful!!! They were treating you like a criminal! I see people using reusable bags to put their items in all the time. It is not a crime to use a shopping bag!!!! I would talk to management!!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is incorrect if in fact you have been told so in serious tones. I like to believe that the employees were being just “bragging” in the spur of the moment; and I like to think that they were not being idiots. If you have not walked out of the store having intentionally “shoplifted,” then the “accused” action has not taken place. Therefore, no charge can be brought against anyone let alone anyone being convicted.

      • Toni

Yikes! Good to know. If I only have one deal, I sometimes don't get a cart and put my items in my reuseable bag as I go and unload it at the register. No one has ever said anything, but I won't do that anymore!

      • Brooke82

They couldn't do anything to you but tell you to pay for everything right then. Seriously, that is ridiculous! Anyways, I would not do it if they were going to make a big deal out of it like you said they would. But I think that if they called the cops on you, the cops would ask them if you tried to walk out the store without paying…which you didn't. The cops woud probably look at them like they were crazy.

    • alissabeth

Great week for me! Thank goodness the Right Guard is on sale, because this is all my DH can use and the coupons expire soon!

Has anyone ever seen a Clear Care contact solution coupon? I use this, but would love to be able to save even more…

      • diane

There was a $3.00 Clear Care coupon in the AJC this morning. Will this work?

    • dale

the target manufact coupons wont work at cvs i have tried and the reg doesnt accept it as a manuf coupon also tried one at food lion and they wouldnt take it either….btw i also work at one of these stores and still couldnt use one of these type of coupons if it has a target logo on it

    • angelahanshew

I was so happy to see all the things I could save on this week at CVS. I spent about an hour getting all the coupons needed to save on the Dove and Degree deoderants as well as getting back $5.00 in ECB. I also was looking foward to getting Aussie Shanpoo and Cond. for $2.99. With $1.00 ECB back. Also I had coupons on Orbit gum, buy it for $1.50 and use $1.00 off coupon for a 3 pk. Wow! I would get 3 packs for .50. BUT!!!!!!!Instead I got NOTHING as directed by Southern Savers. This makes 3 times that this has happen to me. Honestly it is becoming frustrating to me. Since I look like a complete idiot, but who's to blame for this? I do enjoy the help that I recieve from the websites such as this one, but when things like this happens it makes me feel like is it truly worth it and can I depend on the websites information or not? In this case my answer is NO! I think that this website as well as others needs to double check all their info and to make sure that it is correctly displayed on their website. If in TN, CVS or other places such as this one. Their add in TN says one thing and in KY it says another I feel that it is the honest thing to do is to let the people know where the aid is good for and where it is not. So that situations such as mine does not happen to any one else.

I hope that this is not taken the wrong way, but it is hard enough to manage the coupons, and than have the wrong info given to you.

      Thank you for your understanding…..
Still a fan of your website, just thought you might want to know of some problems that I have seen become a on going issue..

      • elisa

I understand your frustration as I've had similar experiences, but I've managed to eliminate a lot of that by paying close attention to details (specific sizes, etc.) and cross-checking with local sale ads or even asking at the store if I don't see something marking the item as being on sale or eligible for EBs.
BTW, I think the reason this particular trip didn't work out for you is that this post is for next weeks sales (starting tomorrow).
I'm sorry you had a bad experience!

      • Toni

Um… Did you notice that this is a preposting for deals that start 3/14? At the top of the page it says “CVS Weekly Ad 3/14-3/20”. So if you choose to shop before 3/14 (or Sat night 3/13 if your store starts the ads early), then you have to read the “CVS Weekly Ad 3/7-3/13” These posted deals will be available if you just shop on the right week. Jenny is nice enough to post these early so we can all get ready for upcoming deals. Thanks, Jenny!

      • Ann

Your work will not be in vain when you check during the proper dates as Jenny listed at the heading of this entry. Please be careful. You are being ugly to a very sweet lady and making yourself look foolish.

        • angelahanshew

We are all humans and we all make mistakes. I am sure that you almighty Jenny has made them before. So don't be quick to judge. Maybe it takes someone with a little understanding that if one makes a mistake help them understand. I misread the information and that is my fault. But what gives you the right to email me with foolish behavior as well. You are not perfect either. I thought I was helping her out. My mistake. I later to day when viewing the aids. I saw that she placed the aid for this week last week ahead of time. So I misread, my fault let me be the one to judge my mistakes. You don't know who I am. I don't know who you are. I am sure that you are caring since you are quick to judge me to protect Jenny. I will be more aware, but please don't email me any more. My email address what not given to her site to get threatening emails. Only so that I may enjoy the site as you do. So when you make a mistake I pray that the next person does not be quick to judge YOU!

          • Brandie

Angela, we are not emailing you. You clicked the little box next to “Subscribe to all comments by email”. We are simply commenting on your post. And yes we do all jump to Jenny's aid because she puts forth so much effort to bring us such great deals each and every week. She's got a family just like we all do and some how she manages to keep us updated. We don't want her getting upset by someone complaining and decide to give this all up. That would be a travesty.

And I'm sorry, I find it rude for you to call Jenny, “Almighty Jenny” in sarcasm. No one here has called you any names.

      • lankclantn

I live in TN and just returned from my local CVS — the deals for deodorant, Aussie, Herbal Essence and gum were available! All the ECB printed and the trip went off without a hitch. Jenny is a great woman and a reliable source. I appreciate all that she does for us!!!!!

      • lucy2778

I think you can go on CVS's website and check out the local ad for your store before going. I have 3 CVS stores within about a mile of each other, and their items on sale slightly differ, so if I don't find something on sale in one store, I go to the other and there it is. Good luck :)

      • Brandie

Not trying to be rude but CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid Sales ALWAYS start on Sunday's unless otherwise stated. Jenny DOES put the start date of the sale. Publix is the only one I can think of that has a mid week start date.

this sale doesnt start until 3/14

      • astep

ok wow! it says right at the top that sale doesnt start until 3/14…don't blame jenny (the most awesome, helpful person ever) for you failing to read it! she always posts the sales a few days before they start so everyone can get ready.

      • Sarah

Make sure you check the dates of the sale – as this clearly states at the top of the post that the deals are for 3/14-3/20!! Some stores start there sales at some point during the day on Saturday (the 13th) – but none of them would start the sales on Friday. We are just so fortunate that Jenny gets all of this information to us 2 full days before the sale starts!! I hope you will be kind enough to come back on and post an apology to Jenny – as this is clearly an error on your own part and not on Jenny's!! Thanks so much Jenny for all you do!!! :)

      • carolyn090

if you didnt see the start date on the sale, make this a habbit go to cvs website enter your zip code and see for yourself tomorrow morning , by the time you make your own list ,and gather your coupons good luck on finding all of the items on your list . jenny always posts early for next weeks sales .what is on sale or what isnt ,coupons in the insert you receive may sometimes be different so dont get upset when you dont have a coupon on the list, and items included in the sale are different from store to store. and sometimes just because it is in the online ad your store may not even have it . before i found this website i use to spend four times the time i spend now getting ready to shop, and then i would wonder around the stores with my ad in hand trying to match coupons to the sale prices for hours. jenny, i thank you, and am greatfull for all the help . i do not know you ,but i love you ,and your site . i am waiting for the jenny, you rock ! t shirts .just a sugestion but a would buy one , and wear it proudly, if you have some printed.

        • Lisa

I like the Jenny Rocks t-shirt idea! I'd wear one.

          • lankclantn

I LOVE the Jenny Rocks t-shirt idea also!! I'd proudly wear one:-)

            • Cole05

This way we would all be recognized by each other as we're out deal hunting. As if it's not hard to spot one of us now, with our big notebooks and handfuls of coupons holding up the lines…LOL But it's so worth the dirty looks, wouldn't you agree??? Put a shirt out Jenny..You already have orders to be filled…You deserve something for all you do!

      • ASmith

I don't know if Jenny would be able to determine if the ad is good for each state in my personal experience I have found the info to be accurate. I have found some variations in my ad in VA versus the one listed on blogs. For example a couple of weeks ago they listed english muffins on sale but my ad did not. I imagine it is related to what certain areas carry but certainly nothing significant. I have found the ads to be fundamentally the same with some small variations.

I personally appreciate the work Jenny puts into this website.

As stated before this ad is for Sunday 3/14/2010. I am not sure why it took an hour to compile the listed coupons. I believe there are different ways to organize your coupons that you may want to look into. I keep my inserts by week in a separate folder and I am able to quickly go to that week and clip the needed coupon. For the online printable ones I simply print and file in my purse coupon holder. Each week after I review the ad and decide what I would like to purchase I will put them in an envelope for that store.

I am sorry you had a frustrating experience. It takes me a lot less time now than it did in the beginning as well. We are all human and make mistakes from time to time. You could also simply wait until you get your Sunday paper either Sat. or Sun. depending on your area and do your own research and feel more comfortable.

        Happy couponing

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I dont think it could be any clearer than it is now when the sales dates are. Moreover, this information here is a voluntary service in good faith. Therefore, complaining on something so….nothing… is totally uncalled for.

    • Aben

I was sad when I went into my CVS in FL to take advantage of the Degree deodorant deal to find that the prices each were not the $2.50 you had listed but were in fact $4.79 each! This totally changed the deal dynamics for me and I bailed. May I ask how you located a price of $2.50 each to formulate your deal plan? Thanks. Your site is very helpful, just want to understand your research.

      • robinwiser

In the ad, the link is above, the price is 2/$5, the deal does not start until 3/14. Also, in my CVS the price on the shelf is not always correct but it always rings up correctly.

      • Nichole M

Same for me, I live in Northern Florida. But they still ring up as advertised in the weekly ad. Every time I go into a store I look at their weekly ad on display for the things I am buying just to double check its the same. I even got a rain check for the deodorants and the 5ECB.

    • Carrie

Thank you for all the work you do!!! Please don't even consider stopping posting deals a few days ahead of when they start to lesson possible confusion. Although your site has saved me money and time, it still seems to take me several days to get my lists and coupons ready. I don't know how other women say they can get all their stuff ready for a shopping trip in about 30 minutes. For me it is like a job even with your site (I know, I'm slow). All this to say, I NEED to know about the sales early just so I can hopefully be ready when they do start. So I LOVE it that you post early. If anyone can share how long they spend on couponing (getting ready and the shopping itself) each week and any tips on doing all this in less time, please share! Thanks again, Jenny, for all your work.

I'm in awe as to how you do this site AND run your own household. I struggle with just the running the household (I'm even home all day with one toddler at home and two older ones at school). I hope some other's houses look as messy as mine.

      • christy

i am glad you posted this. my friends that also do southernsavers also say it takes only 30-45 minutes to get thier lists and q's together too. i feel like it takes me much longer. my husband cant stand me couponing because he sees how much time i put into it. he thinks its not worth it but i feel hooked now.one thing that i think im gonna try is not clipping the inserts. it will save alot of time. i hope :)i also dont see how jenny does what she does and finds the time.

        • Carrie

Well, it sounds as if we're in the same boat. My husband also doesn't like (1) the time it takes to get everything together (our house shows how much time I spend on coupons), (2) the 3-4 total hours I take at the stores combined (Publix, CVS & WAGS – while he's watching the kids) each week and the large stockpile that stays on the kitchen floor still in the grocery bags because we've run out of room. BUT I'm starting to see a crack in his resistance since our grocery bill has been coming down some. Last night I spent $140 for $300 worth of groceries (that was a high bill for us)!!! Of course, he would say I would have spent less if I hadn't gotten the Reese's Peanut Butter cups that were BOGO minus a $2/2 Q and other things like that that we don't need but I get when they are on such a good sale. But they sure will taste good!!! Anyway, glad someone out there is similar to me! Glad to “meet” you, happy couponing.

          • moorejn2

            Hey Carrie,
Have you ever been to one of Jenny's “Extreme couponing 101” class? I went to one last Friday, 12th. I thought she gave some good hints on how to make couponing less time. IF you haven't been to a class try to find one in your area, I think you will like it.

          • jennifr1966

Who *cares* that it would have cost less? The fact is, you already cut the budget so much that you were able to afford some luxuries, which you *still* got on a huge discount! I've found that we can sometimes get luxury items, too, now that we're not spending full price on our groceries. What a great deal, by the way, on the Reese's. Be proud of yourself, girl. You deserved the treat!

          • JEB

Wow…you just described my house exactly, especially the kitchen floor!!

        • Snowski824

I don't clip them any more. I file them by date with the date written on the front and clip what I need. It makes like MUCH easier!

          • jengc

I do the same thing. I keep all my inserts in hanging file folders that are hanging in an old box I got when I bought a product (kinda like a paper box when I used to go to Sam's and buy the “economy” bulk items LOL). Someone that explained how they did it said, they dont always have a coupon for something unexpected, but it saves GOBS of time not cutting out every coupon. Plus, you are cutting out coupons that you might not use. I had 2 coupon booklets and they were tearing they were so full. This way, I dont have to carry that around. I spend less time going through the list, matching the coupons with the date they came out, and going to the store with a small list folded in half with my cut out coupons.

But just so you know, it still takes me time to get them all together. I dont understand how people say THAT takes 30 minutes! lol But I am kinda slow too so….there ya go :)

          • Rowell mom of 4

The greatest thing ever…having a 10 yr old that loves, loves to clip!! She saves me so much time. She also love to go shopping, helps sort the q's, etc….and to top it off, I feel she is learning a very valuble lesson about life and saving $$$. Gotta love it :)

            • Bridget

So sweet! Can't wait until my daugher is a little older and we can coupon together. She is the best blinkie spotter ever already, though!

    • Libbytn

Jenny- You do a great job it is not your fault that some people don't read the titles to your posts! People new to this: for most stores the new week starts Sat. night/Sunday morning. Jenny usually posts the deals for the upcoming week on Fridays. So, take the weekend to get your qs together, stop by a cvs on Saturday night if you want to ask them if the new deals have started yet or wait till Sunday. Please read the titles to the posts! I have always found every deal I have looked for that was posted here on this site. It is def. the best one! As someone else said, sometimes the deals aren't marked in the stores, but take the product to red box machine and it will display the correct price with your cvs card.

    • Christy

Will the B1G1 CoverGirl coupnon for a “Face Product” work on the Lip Color? I guess Lip Color would be considered a Face Product?

Thanks for all the hard work you put into your site! It saves me tons of money!

    • natsaver

Thank you for all you do! I use your site everyday and find it to be extremely helpful. As I prepare my trips, I realize that prices and sales my vary at different stores. No human could possibly know every price at every store at all times. The information you provide is appreciated and invaluable! Keep up the great work!!

    • lankclantn

I am so very appreciative of the time and effort you put into this website. My family saves a lot of money and I don't go to a store without checking Southern Savers first. I am sorry that people cannot see the benefits you are providing for many of us. I want to say from the bottom of my heart that my family appreciates all that you do for us. I too have always found every deal that was posted on this site. (sometimes the store is out of the item bu that is not your fault!) Thanks again for all that you do!!!!!

      • Lankclantn

I just returned from CVS and all of the deals were there!! It was a very successful trip. Thanks for all that you do.

    • shananava

Called my CVS locally. They said last weeks sales through today as well as next weeks starting tomm were valid today. I am new to this and take foreve as I am not organized yet so don't think I can do all in one day but I will try, at least a couple deal but I am buying too much. Need to stop unless its free. In apartment, unorganized on due to physical limits, hard to stock pile much. I will get fast at it one day like others. I am overwhelmed but love a deal. Makes me feel good.

      • WynetteC

You are doing exactly like I did when I first began. I walked aimlessly around the store from isle to isle, confused, with calculator in hand, and nervous that nothing would work. My kids dreaded going with me after my first week because we had been in the store for about an hour and a half. But here I am now half a year into CVSing and I just love it thanks to Jenny and this site! You will do great, and it does get easier and much faster with time. :)

      • diane

I think we've all found out that you CAN have too much of a free thing. I still can't help but 'buy' the stuff – free or almost. There are always people out there who need or would love the stuff that falls out of an overstocked closet!

    • shananava

Also Thanks for your hard work. This site is more local to me so one of my all time faves.

    • debbieparnell

Hi! I just wanted to comment on some of the comments that I have seen here. I have been a faithful follower of this website for over 1 year. I have NEVER been steered wrong by any of Jenny's information. Everyone needs to understand that she posts these deals ahead of time. People, please read the captions to the posts, and see that the deodorant deals don't start until tomorrow. Don't blame Jenny if you don't read the captions. She clearly states these deals don't start until 3/14. Wake up and don't blame her for your own mistakes.

      • joyfullysaving

Don't BLAME Jenny for anything, don't use the site if it doesn't work for you. She spends so much time doing a GREAT thing here. Areas differ, Stores differ, If you need clarification on something then GO TO the MGR if they can't help you well that is not Jenny's fault. GOOD GRIEF she matches the coupons and tells us where to find them, so what if a price is different or the sale is not at your store..it will be someday and then you'll be on here happy as we are. Ask questions if you need help, don't get down on Jenny for HELPING us all save a TON of money. Jenny you ROCK, Thank you so much for ALL you do. You just delete all the Negative Posts you have the Power :)

    • Ashcat

I just went to CVS. The store was honoring the sunday sales already. I did the degree deodorant deal and didn't get $5 ECB back. The deodorants were 50% off ($2.40 each). I bought 6 and used the coupons. Everything worked except the $5 ECB back. I am disappointed. $2.40 x 6 = $14.40.. So I guess it should have been 8 deodorants to get the ECB. The weekly circular also said nothing about degree or dove deodorant. ugh

      • Ian

That is because you had to spend 15 on Degree products to get the ECB.

      • Cori

Page 8 of the circular lists Dove and Degree in the same photo.

      • Guest

The reason you didn't get the $5 ECB is because the items you bought were clearance items. You don't get ECB on clearance items!!!

      • Suemh

Does it say anything about the ECB offer on the bottom of your receipt?

    • bolessd

I posted a question yesterday about how to use a b1g1 free coupon when cvs has a b1g1 50% off sale, I got my answer today and was very pleased with it: All covergirl products: I purchased 2 foundations for $ 18.98 (9.49 ea), 1 eyeliner $6.49, 1 eyeshadow $5.49, 1 mascara $2.75 (was already on clearance) and the nivea lip gloss for $2.99, total cost: $36.70 (before taxes). Discounts were: $4.74 (1/2 foundation), $ 2.74 (1/2 eyeshadow), $9.49 (b1g1 coupon), $5.49 (b1g1 coupon), 2 $2.50 coupons (2.50 any 2 cg products), 1 $1.00 coupon for cg product, $4.00 ecb, $2.00 ecb. total savings: $34.46 :) plus I have $2.99 in ecb still available. $2.51 + tax oop today. And, my cvs was out of the gillette sales and the fusion/venus razors, she gave me a rain-check and said I would still get the ecbs that go with them :) My 1st day of shopping CVS, and I'm really liking it. Thanks to everyone that post tips and deals on here!

    • Crystal

I went tonight and spent $.19 and got back 6 EBC (started with 5). I purchased 6 deodorant (3 coupons), 1 Herbal Essence shampoo and 1 hairspray (b1g1 coupon). I had no problems. I priced checked everything before checkout.

    • Donna

If you are planning to do the deodorant deal, I would suggest that you plan to buy 6 of the deodorants for men. I went tonight and bought 6, used 4 coupons, got back $5 ECB. At my CVS, none of the girls/ladies deodorants matched up with the buy 2 get $3 off. I used 2 of the men's buy 2 get $3 off and 2 of the men's buy 1 get $1.25 off. I did spend $.50 more, but it was still a great deal. You cannot buy deodorant for $.25 any other way!!!

Thank you Jenny. I appreciate getting deodorant for $.25.

      • Ashley

Thanks Donna, you are awesome, if it wasn't for you I never would've had the $1.25's on hand “just in case” the same thing happened at my store… and it did! Lifesaver!

      • wh1skeyg1rl

My CVS didn't notice that the 2 coupons I used where for Girl Deo. I bought 4 women's and 2 men's and got the $5 ECB.

      • GAmeg

At the CVS on Sixes Raod in Canton GA, they did also have the Dove ladies included. I was able to get 4 ladies and 2 Degree mens, and got the ECB's with no problem.

      • nicole

HiDonna, I had the same issue at my cvs..I just asked the lady would the coupons work anyway and she told me yes they should and would put them through anyway if it didn't want to take them. As luck would have it they worked. Got 4 reg degree for women and 2 mens degree.

      • ItsACouponThing

Thanks, this is what I did, plus daughter used the tip someone gave about using perfume afterwards. I had the coupons plus a $5 ECB, so husband was floored when I said, “I paid $1 cash.” The $5 ECB, of course, was immediately replaced after the deal!

    • rarasnake

Wanted to comment about the person thinks Jenny steers people wrong. Please, look at the DATES of the ads. Jenny does a great job going ahead and posting so that we can get our q's matched with the ads coming out. She is a great person and doesn't have to do this. Jenny does this for FREE, she is always asking if you find a deal, post it. She has always said she doesn't charge because sometimes she does miss deals and would feel bad to charge people (when other people do charge)… If you don't like her site, go to another one and feel free to pay so much for a membership, inwhich you still may miss deals…. I personally love Jenny's site and she is a great Mom!! I have attended one of her coupon classes and she does really well on explaining how to match deals and coupons…

    • Mary Lou

In response to the angry comments – stop taking your frustration out on the person who does all the work to save us money. I am a horrible shopper and a terrible couponer, but I just keep trying. I always manage to mess up something that Jenny puts in her list – either I bring the wrong coupon or read the information wrong, or just plain mess up. Notice I said I mess up. Since I've been using Southern Savers I've saved more money than I thought possible and even though I'm terrible at all this, I have a great stock pile of products I'll need or that I'll want to share. Please reevaluate who you're really angry with – are you sure you're not mad at yourself?

    • Thank you so much for all the work you do in putting these lists and deals together.I have been CVSing only a few weeks and have already saved so much money! I can hardly wait for next weeks lists so I can plan ahead. Thank you again. I can hardly wait to be stocked up on all the toiletries we need. I have a family of 6 and this is truly a godsend!

    • Molliec

My first CVS trip!! I am so excited! Hubby is now totally stocked on deoderant for a while now! I also got some extras to give to my brother who has been without a job for a while. BTW-I totally need a “Jenny Rocks” t shirt also!!

    • angelahanshew

It i ashame that a person can not make a simple mistake in this world without everyone being quick to JUDGE. I wanted to be the understanding and forgiving person I am and say that I am sorry for being a human and makeing a mistake in what I misread the other day. I wanted to say to Jenny as I said before I love the site and that I thought the dates where wrong. My fault, I will watch for these date closer. Make sure that next time I review them better. But to all the people who emailed me with the disrespect the world is to day, thanks. Your feed back did not go unheard. But I dont email you perosonally I just post them here. Your email address to me is like your phone. Hopefully you would not call someone who you dont know and disrespect them. What is they have children and you called and the things you said they heard. I would never put myself in this situation due to I have respect towards other. Maybe next time instead of people who view this site. That is someone who is NEW to it. Has had a few problems and tries reach someone to HELP, you so that. Since all I got was disrespect from you, if you emailed me and it was not thanks for understanding that I was concerned and confussed. Jenny I do thank you for all that you are doing, it is very helpful. I just thank that people should not be a threat towards others on your site. I am so sorry for any wrong doings. I hope that you understand that I did not mean to anger anyone. Keeping peace in this world seems hard in life, and it should not be this way online either. Please forgive me to all the viewers as well. Hope that the next person(s) you meet in your life is not so quick to judge YOU!

Still a fan just misread. We all are humans, remember that!

      • 3monkeysmom

I'm not sure I would say that people correcting you are judging you. There is a difference. I think people rushed to correct you b/c we all feel Jenny is almost like a family member and when someone comes against a family member, we all get a tad protective. I'm sure you would too :-)
Because your post seemed to blame Jenny for what was an honest mistake on your part, everyone strongly felt the need to set you straight.
As for the people who emailed your personal email instead of or in addition to responding here: SHAME on them!!! That's going way too far! We all have made mistakes and how would we feel if someone threw them in our faces?
You do not need to ask “our” forgiveness b/c you did absolutely nothing to us. This is between you and Jenny, and although I don't know her personally, she seems like a big enough person to not let this ruffle her feathers :-)

      • kmoon

        Hi Angela,

I was just reading through the comments and realized all this fuss about personal emails might be for nothing, I think. This same thing happens to me, whenever I write a comment here anytime someone replies to my comments that reply gets sent to my email. I don't remember if I did or didn't click something when I first signed up, but as I don't comment very often or get an overflow of reply emails it has never bothered me a bit. I hope this is the case because I don't see how else anyone would have gotten your personal email. If this message gets to your email box my theory is correct!

        • 3monkeysmom

That didn't occur to me when I replied to her above and called “shame” on everyone :-)
That's probably what is happening. In any case, I think everyone should just move on………………

        • Carrie

The same thing happened to me the first time I made a comment with the new system. The “Subscribe to all comments by email” had been clicked (don't know if I did it or if it was an automatic thing at the time that has now been corrected) and my e-mail box was overflowing with each additional comment that was made. I've just learned since then to make sure that box is unchecked and I agree with you that this is what must have happened to angelahanshew.

    • debbieparnell

You do rock. Keep up the good work.

    • Frances Stone

Just back from the CVS in Winston-Salem. The cashier would not accept the B1G1 Cover Girl coupon for the Outlast Lipstick that is on sale. She said it would only do face products. Did anyone else's CVS accept the coupon?

    • Anna

Finally got to CVS in time to get some of the deals! Got 6 Degree for Men deodorant and used 3, 3$/2 coupons and 5.50 in ECB's. Sub total was .50 cents and after tax $1.55! I could never do this without you Jenny! Thank you!!!

Been to our local CVS this morning… Before sales and coupons: $75.83… After sales, coupons and the ECBs I had, I paid $17.46 and got back $11.00 in ECBs for later… :) Thanks, Jenny!

please check your ad before shopping ,in callahan, fla.we dont get the extra bux on the candy, or at least its not in the ad .

    • Ashley

I just got back from another great CVS shopping trip (thanks to JENNY WHO IS AWESOME)
      I got: 6 degree deodorants
      1 glade fragrance collection candle
1 glade oil refill 2 pack
Used: 1 $3 off glade CVS coupon
      1 $2 off glade printable
3 of the $3 off 2 degree coupons
      $10 in ecb's
PAID 2.xx and got back $9 ECBS!!!

      • dmkiger

I had a great CVS shopping trip too! Just to let you all know, there are some $1.50 off 1 Right Guard deodorant coupons floating around. That would make them free after ECBs!!!

    • Jeri

I had a great trip to CVS this afternoon. I think this was the first time I actually got everything I was looking for…

Right Guard 2/$5 plus $2 ECB
Less $2/2 coupon makes it .50 each

      Simply Asia $1 each
Less .50 coupon makes it .50 each (bought 2)

      Warm Delights .99 each
Less .50 coupon makes it .49 each (bought 2)
Less $1/2 from Betty Crocker mailer makes it .49 each (bought 2)
These were $2.38 EACH at the Pig yesterday which is why I am glad I held out. The kids love them but way too expensive!

Purex 3in1 Sheets B1G1 @ $8.99 less $1.00 off ip makes it $4 each. My son is home from college this week for Spring Break so these will be going back to school with him.

Orbit Multipacks 2/$3 used (2) $1 off ip coupons which made it $1 each. I didn't realize until I got home and checked my receipt that the gum also counted in the $3 ECB wyb $10 Easter candy. Can someone confirm that as long as I spend another $7 in candy this week the ECB will print (ie doesn't have to be in one transaction)?

Dole Peaches $1.69 each. Used $1/4 coupon from a previous package. No ECBs but a great deal on the peaches which can be as much as $2.99 each!

Also did 2 Glade spend $10 get $4 ECB transactions and the Degree spend $15 get $5 ECB transactions using internet coupons for the deoderant and CVS, previous package, internet coupons and Sunday inserts for the Glade.

All in all it was a prosperous day. I now have 8 sticks of deoderant that can be donated to the homeless shelter and more sugar that my kids will ever need!

      • Lisa

SC Johnson has a $5 rebate out anytime you purchase 3 items & Glade qualifies.

        • Jeri

That was a good rebate. You can do it up to three times. I got my checks last week!

        • Cole05

I keep hearing about this rebate. Can you please tell me where I can get the form(s). Thanks so much! Everyone at SS is the best at helping everyone out!!! THANKS A BUNCH EVERYBODY!!!

          • Carrie

I've already sent all mine in so I don't have the website but try googling SCJohnson or SCJohnson $5 rebate and see if you can find it that way.

          • crickola

I did a search for the rebate and all I get is message from SCJ saying

It appears you have reached a page that does not exist. Return to the homepage.”

I can't seem to find it if it still exists.

            • Ashley

I couldn’t find the rebate form either, so I emailed the SC Johnson customer service people and they sent me this link:

Hey! I just saw on a hangtag from an SC Johnson product at the store that you can find the rebate at : scjohnson.com/value I printed it three times, since there's a limit of 3 rebates per household. Good luck! :)

            • Cole05

Thanks so much for the info. everybody!! I was able to find and print my 3… I appreciate all the responses. Have a Great Night! Happy saving!!

        • AmyFMSC

I didn't know about that! Bonus! Now they are even more FREE!! It definitely pays, literally, to read the comments! :)

Simply Asia has a newsletter & mailing. Could be an opportunity for coupons.

      • 1MiniMom

The candy deal was working last week also. The deal limit is two.

      • carolyn090

yes, it will print if you go back . once i was 0.02 short of my ecb on cover girl and finished up later that week , it doesnt even have to be the same store.it worked for me!

    • dmkiger

The deodorant deals at CVS are great! Just to let you know, there are some coupons floating around where you can get $1.50 off 1 Right Guard deodorant. That would make it free!!!

    • dgram41

Yay! I finally did my first CVS deals — did the degree & rolled over my ECBs for the covergirl outlast & I have 6 ECBs for next week!

    • Laura

FRUSTRATED!!! In the last couple of weeks, I do not have the coupons that are listed for Red Plum and SS. I receive The State Paper and live in the West Columbia Area…help please!!!

      • itismedia

Jenny has a list of other papers listed. Have you checked to see if your paper is there? Look at the right side of the tool bar for WEEKLY INSERTS. The drop down menu will list regional coupons.
        Hope that helps!

      • renamac

Laura here's something you might give a try. After looking at the weekly ads be it grocery or drugstore I get with a friend and we order our coupons from a coupon clipping website. They are cheap, cut and ready to use. You can get the ones you want and need. They come super fast. Last week we ordered on a wed afternoon and they came on Friday. the name of the one we use is http://www.couponsandfourms.com there are others out there. by budding up it help us both to save money on the products we want to stock up on. Please be sure to check the expiration dates on the coupons that your ordering. I hope this helps. Think about it instead of buying a ton of papers to get only a few coupons you can pay to get the ones you want.

    • rox

For those that weren't able to get the deodorant deal to work out/or unable to get the deodorants they wanted, might I suggest you print the $2/1 from Dove and the $1.25/1 from the Don't Fret the sweat link and keep to use during K-Mart double coupon days (I believe it's starting 4/6) hopefully you have a participating K-Mart near you. Please check the link from this site to becentsable. There is a link to a list of participating K-Marts and the dates. It also says that coupons will be matched up to $2 (however, only 5 can be used at a time – may mean multiple trips to K-Mart???) Good Luck.

    • loridga

I can't get the Degree deodorant coupons to print. It keeps saying “this campaign is over.”

    • loridga

I can't the Degree deodorant to print. It keeps saying “this campaign is over.”

    • latinisimo

My trip from CVS this week: Before sales and coupons: 99.87, With coupons and CVS bucks I already had: $1.49. On top of that I have $31 ECB accumulated. Shopping at CVS is the best.

    • Binkle

Just got back from CVS. Got the 6 Men's Degree items with no problem. I also noticed that one of the Sure for Men deoderants was marked down to $1.50 so I ran out to the car and grabbed some of the $1.50 q's for Sure for Men. That was cool. Got plenty of deo. for the hubby and for my charity boxes.

    • Effie

I did my first CVS shopping trip yesterday.

4 boxes of Kellogs Rasin Bran for $10
1 Oral B toothbrush for $4 (on sale)
      2 Kellogs printable – 1.50 off 2 boxes
      Paid $11.24
      $9.00 in ecb's!!

    • Lily

I have a question on the Stayfree pads. I understand that this is a monthly ECB deal. Where do you find the monthly deals. They do not seem to be advertised anywhere. I followed your list on the deal scenario and it worked so I am wondering how we find these deals.

      • ireneY

CVS used to advertise their monthly deals in a booklet, but not anymore. My store didn't have signage up either, so just think of it as a secret sale for those in the know! Otherwise, the shelves would have been cleared when the limit is 4.

    • jprince

My CVS(s) didn't have the Degree girl either. My DH says he can only use Speed Stick (which I got for $1 @ Kroger today), but I am considering getting the Degree men's and making him try it!

Thanks for letting us in on all the great deals, Jenny!

      • Carrie

I've been known to use Men's deodorant, shave gel and razors if that means I'm getting them for free. Since my husband is “x-brand no matter the cost” loyal and I'm “whatever's lowest price” loyal, that's one way I save. So, if your husband absolutely resists using Degree, try it yourself – just wait a few minutes for the scent to die down, spray on perfume and no one will think you smell like a man (or if they do, hopefully they'll keep that thought to themselves; if not, you can tell them who cares? because it was free!).

        • jennifr1966

I LOVE your idea, but guess this: My husband only likes SECRET! Ha ha! (Powder Scent, FYI) I'm going to try your idea.

    • rclay18

Band Aid Brand has a $5 rebate when you buy The Princess and The Frog DVD and 2 participating band aid products. CVS has the DVD on sale for 19.99 plus $3 ECB. Walgreens has the band aid deal right now. I'm thinking after sales, coupons, rebate, RRs and ECBs you could get the DVD and band aids for 8.99? I think I might try this.

    • christie1225

Does the CVS scanner print the same coupon for everyone? Or are they random?

      • 3monkeysmom

I've always found them to be random. I have seen posts where people are getting $4 off $20, or $4 off Huggies or what not. I seem to only ever get coupons for CVS brand items. I did get one brand name- $1 off Loreal Facial Cleanser, but that has been the only brand name coupon I have ever gotten out of that thing.

        • Brooke82

I have used it twice. The first time I got two CVS brand Q's like you have. Today I went in and got $3/$15 Q and a Tylenol Q. I was actually surprised because I have only shopped there a few times since I have lived here. It seems like it's almost like the lottery, 1 in a million, lol.

          • 3monkeysmom

Totally like the lottery!! I was so excited when I got the Loreal coupon! It's not even a product that I have ever or would ever use, but the fact that it wasn't a CVS brand made me happy :-) Anyway, that's probably why you got such good coupons, b/c you only have shopped there a few times. It seems the less you shop there, the better your coupons are :-)
Maybe I should stay away from CVS for a while and see if that red box tries to win me back :-)

    • Lisa

My coupons didn't match up to the deodorants my CVS listed as included. They didn't have any of the Dove Ultimates included & didn't even seem to sell the Degree Girl – and those were the only coupons I could get to print out. Oh well, if there's one thing I've learned from doing this, there will be another sale next week! I did get the Glade products, which will be free plus overage after I get my rebate back from SC Johnson, and some Aussie products.

      • 3monkeysmom

I was disappointed about the Dove Ultimates too. I love Ultimate Fresh. I figured b/c the ad ONLY excluded Ultimate Clear and Ultra Clear, that the other Ultimates would be INCLUDED. Nope! This happened at Walgreen's a few weeks ago, also. They had an in-ad coupon for Dove that only excluded the Ultimate Clear, but they still wouldn't take it for the other Ultimates. They need to start being more specific!!!
My store didn't have the Degree Girl either. They did have Degree Woman, but it wasn't included either so I figured even if they had Degree Girl, it probably wouldn't have been included anyone.
The MEN win on this deodorant deal!!!!

        • 3monkeysmom

Meant to say “either” instead of “anyone.”

      • Carrie

I was able to the use the Degree Girl coupon on the regular Degree deodorants (my store doesn't even have a place for Degree Girl that I could find). I even pointed it out to the cashier that the coupon might not work, and if not, then I wanted the whole thing voided. The chash register took the coupon just fine and I was able to do the deal and receive my $5 ECB. So, if you go to the store again, you might want to just try it and if it doesn't work then just void it out.

        • Brooke82

Well I bought the 2 Glade Reed Diffusers, Scented oil plug-in as well as 2 of the scented oil refills. I used (2) $2 off Glade Q's and the FREE Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Holder wyb Relaxing Moments PlugIns Scented Oil Refill Q. The register actually discounted $3.99 for the Relaxing Moments Q in which I did not even buy that exact product.

    • Caroline

PLEASE HELP! I have been shopping at CVS with great success for quite some time. This evening I purchased some Cover Girl and Loreal products that were on clearance and my coupons were refused. I kindly asked the cashier why he would not accept my coupons to which he responded that clearance items are not eligible for coupon use or else the items would be free. I then kindly said, the manufacturer will provide the coupon value to CVS and I am just asking for the amount of the product not overage. I can't locate a corporate policy anywhere on their website. Can someone tell me if they have it?

      • Carrie

I've never had a problem using a coupon on a clearance item. A few weeks ago, my coupon had expired the day before and I asked the chasier if she would take it anyway. She had heard me make an earlier comment that I was giving the stuff to our local food bank and that might be why she took the coupon. If you want, call corporate, I've had to do that before on another issue and they were very nice and helpful.

      • Guest

They should have taken the coupons for sale or clearance items.

    • Pennydealchick

For anyone looking to do the Covergril Lip Product. BE CAREFULL. I tried three times before the store go it right. They had placed the add on all three types but only one will work. The one that is shine blast is not giving back care bucks. Be sure to check the price. If it does not show as being $8 dollars it will not give back care buck. And for those of us in Irmo, SC do remember that Lake Murry does not have a Make-up isle for a while since one of there nice custmers drove thought the wall on that side of the store. Happy Shopping. Hope this saves someone time it getting the right lipstick.

      • SusanStauffer

I purchased one Shineblast and one Outlast today, using the B1g1 free and $1 off coupon; they rang up correctly, and I got my EB's for the purchase. North Florida. :)

    • shanprice

I went to CVS today but my scenarios didnt turn out the way I wanted-I never end up with ECB at the end so each week I start with some OOP- I plan it, but when I get there they are usually out of something so I have to figure it our in the store which messes me all up! LOL! I still did well though- They have been out of Dove Mens Body wash for weeks now (I had a rain check from several weeks ago)- They did let me get the Dove face and body bars instead which were only $3.49 and still gave me the $5.49 in ECB! Yes! So try that if yours is still out-
I got back $3 off $15 and $4 off when you buy Huggies Diapers and wipes! I noticed Huggies diapers are on sale for $18.99 and wipes for $2.50. Adding man qs to this could be a good deal! However, I noticed Jenny didn't list the diaper deal so I'm wondering if it is not that great of a price? Anyone know?
      Thanks for the help!

      • Brooke82

You could buy the diapers and wipes. Use a manu Q for the wipes and use a $2 off Q for the diapers. If there is no particular size you have to buy on the wipes, get the cheapest and smallest one possible with your Q. Then you could use the $3/$15 Q.

    • stefluvs2sign

Degree and Dove coupons no longer printing

    • stefluvs2sign

Sorry need to clarify the $3 Degrees and $3 Dove's won't print says campaign is over, the other smaller amounts will as will the $3 girl's degree deodorant

    • heather67

Can someone help me with how this works. If I use the B1G1 then I use it on the product bought and the other is free. The $1 Stayfree printable would apply to the free product? My CVS in the past would say I could not use two manufacture coupons for the same product?

      **Deal Idea**
      Buy: (4) Stayfree Pads $3.89
      Use: (2) B1G1 Stayfree RP 1/3
      (2) -$1 off Stayfree printable
      Total Due: $5.78

      • Suemh

The B1G1 applies to the free one. The $1 applies to the one you pay for.

Philips Sonicare e5300 for under $40
      $59.99 (sales price)

      – $4 (CVS $4 off purchase over $20)
Final cost: $35.99 (Reg price $82.99)
      Total savings: $47
Thanks Jenny for all your hard work!!!

    • sheba18

Does anyone know if the 8 oz Hershey candy on the front of the flyer can be used to towards the ECB deal or is it just the ones on page 3? I don't see why not but I don't want to depend on it and get caught unprepared to switch things up.

      • Suemh

I think that any candy must count. I bought 2 99¢ Gold Emblem candies last week because I had some ECB's about to expire and I had a coupon for $1 off 2. Later I noticed that at the bottom of my receipt it said that I had purchased $1.98 toward that reward.

    • sg

SAVE $1.50 on NEW Right Guard® Total Defense™ shows up on print.com
is there another address that you can use to get the $2/2 coupon?

      • Melissa

on coupons.com there is a 1.50 of Right Guard now so with ECBs it makes 2 of them free this week.

    • shelly

I just got back from CVS with nothing in hand. The Degree deodorant is ringing up as $2.40 instead of 2.50. I did not bring any extra coupons with me because I would have to buy another one to make the 15 dollars.

    • Brandie

JENNY YOU ROCK! That's all I have to say.. lol

    • Brandie

Just emailed Jenny with the following:

My CVS just told me that they stopped doing monthly deals around Christmas time. Anyone know if this is just regional or if the deals end up being “unadvertised” around here but still good? I'm in the Atlanta area.

      • ireneY

The Stayfree is a monthly deal that worked for me in ATL. Give it a try!

    • davidhnicholl

i havent posted a comment in a long time so i would just like to say hi to Jenny and thank you for alll your hard work that you put in every week now that i think back in over a year every bit of information i have ever got from this site has been correct i live in fort worth tex my kroger sales don't start till wed so i have a 3 day head start to get all my coupons ready witch is so cool,, but as far as cvs goes im always prepared sometimes i do this weeks sales and the upcoming week at the same time on sat, i would never have known this with out your help every where i look in my house all my pantry's are pretty much full,, all my friends/family members are amazed on the deals i get even the people at cvs no me now, go figure that out we just got brand new 500.00 dollar couch which come from me drickley saving all this money which it wouldn't have happened if i haven't, have found your web site, i tell people about your site all the time here in texas so for all the people that think that Jenny is misleading or doesnt know what shes talking about yall are sadley mistaken is she perfect? no but pretty dang close to it yall have a nice day ,,,and a special warm welcomes from texas to you Jenny :-)

    • foxymama2

My first CVS experience didn't go so well…I bought 2 Cover Girl lip products on sale at $8.00 each, used B1G1 and $2.50 off two, with each product saying it would give me $3 ECB back. CAshier wouldn't accept the $2.50 off (since I got one “free”) and also only granted me 3 ECB instead of 6, again because of the “freebie”. When I got home and checked my receipt, I found that one of the products rang up for $8.99 instead of $8.00 as posted for the sale! Jeez! Was this wrong on her part & should I go try to correct it? I am new to CVS-ing!

      • Sarah

The cashier was correct in that you could not use both coupons. The B1G1 attaches to 1 product – so you could have used the $1 off any Cover Girl product that was in the same insert for the other product, but not the $2.50/2 b/c the other product already had a coupon attached to it. Does that make sense? You would have gotten the $3 ECB's each automatically – regardless of whether you were getting one “free”, but it sounds like the $8.99 product was not part of the deal. I read below from Pennydealchick that she had the same problem and that the only products producing an ECB were the ones ringing up $8. HTH

    • GamecockMommy

Does anyone know if this is a valid deal this week:

$2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads, Regular 24ct at $3.89 Limit 4
      B1G1 Stayfree Pads RP 1/03
      -$1 off Stayfree printable
      **Deal Idea**
      Buy: (4) Stayfree Pads $3.89
      Use: (2) B1G1 Stayfree RP 1/3
      (2) -$1 off Stayfree printable
      Total Due: $5.78
Get Back: $8 ECB, you make $1.22 profit!

I looked in the store last week b/c it was posted here, but there was not a sale in the store that I went to. Just checking to see if it was for this week.

      • Suemh

I bought 2 Stayfrees today, used $1 off & B1G1 and got $4 ECB's/. It was not tagged on the shelf. I was planning to buy 4 but they only had 3 so I saved my other coupon.

    • jennifr1966

Why am I having a hard time finding the Starburst coupon? I can't find it at the website nor in the RP booklet. Can someone give me a heads-up of what it's near?

    • Bobbie

I've been scanning the comments and didn't see anyone saying Jenny was stiring them wrong but I use to get an ad in advance for a while at the drug stores until they said people would come in and show them in the ad where they had it on sale. I would tell them I believed I knew better than try to bring in a book that had not even began yet. Also it takes me lots of time to go thru my coupons and my house is almost to the point of throwing up when you open the door. LOL Gotta stay off here a while and get some house work done. Didn't see where Jenny posted about “The Princess and the Frog” dvd coming out tomorrow at CVS with a $3.00 ECB I believe it is, not looking at it right now. I also found a coupon for $5.00 and $10.00 off somewhere. And there is a $5.00 mail in rebate when you purchase two participating Band Aid products. Somewhere? I purchased the Barbie bandaids at Wags that were marked down to $2.29 and used the Wags Children's activity book to take off a total of $4.00 on the two. Sorry for the rambling. Maybe it will help someone.

    • Jen

At my CVS the Degree girl and the Dove included on the $3 off/2 coupon were not on sale for $2.50. They were $4.79

      • sherry30643

My CVS took my $3/2 Dove even though I just got the regular Dove….Coupon didn't beep!

    • megan10

Certain gillette deodorants are on sale 50% off at my CVS making them $2.49-$2.75, use $3 off gillette deodorant and free gillette body wash when you buy gillette deodorant….makes deodorant and body wash free…great deal!

    • DonnaTN

Just wanted to say that the boxes of huggies were 18.99 and the wipes were 2/$5 also there is a coupon printing at the price checker for $4 off wyb both.

    • Thesuperscotts

what zip code are you using to get the scott paper towel coupons? I can never find it.
      Thank you

    • Sally

The Gillette thing doesnt really work for $9.99. The minimum 4ct razor cartridge is $13.99. The only fusion thing that I saw that was $9.99 was a disposable one with 2 cartridges… I dont know if that works or not, but I am guessing not.

    • annrachh

Where I'm from the CVS and Walgreens will not allow you to use the RR or Extra care bucks with a manufactures coupon. They say the ECB or RR is counted as a manufacture coupon so….cant??? So the scenarios won't work for me as far as stacking the transactions…Is anyone else observed this?

      • SusanStauffer

That is how Walgreens works–they do count as a manufacturer's coupon. Some Walgreens won't let you use a man. coupon with RR, but most do. Try another Walgreens if you can.

But with CVS, that is NOT corporate policy. Do a search on this website; Jenny posted it a while back. If a CVS won't let you use man. coupons with ExtraBucks, print that out and take it in with you, along with the number for CVS corporate. If they refuse, call them. It's not company policy.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is incorrect ! Manufac. Qs have nothing to do what the stores are offering. Moreover, manuf. Qs do not limit the use by saying (on Qs), you cant use it if you are using ECB or RR. Therefore, at least I know the CVS store you mentioned is doing a disservice to CVS itself and needs to be corrected-And you can correct the store by calling the corporate office.

    • ladybiker711

CVS has Purex detergent BOGO this week. I also have a BOGO manuf. Q. Do you know if you can use the coupon with the deal? If so, would it make it free or what?
Also, I have a $4 off Gillette Fusion cartridges and also a coupon for a free razor when you buy the cartridges. Can you use those together?

      • the only Purex Q that I know of expired about 2 weeks ago. But the 2 Gillette Q's can be used together.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

The $4 Off Q is for the Gillette Fusion Razor and free razor Q. is alos for the same razor (none is directly for the cartridge). Therefore, normally you can use one or the other on the deal you are looking into. Of course, the free razor Q is of higher value that you definitely wanna use.

    • clre99

what does it mean when i try to print off the deodorant coupons and it says the campaign is over? Other links say that there aren't any available.

      • Carrie

I think that what is happening is that the company has so many of each coupon that they are willing for people to print (ex: 10,000 – just to throw out a number) and once this limit has been hit then they pull the coupon and say “the campaign is over”. That's why, once a coupon becomes available that I know for sure I will use, I go ahead and print the number that I'm allowed. I also do this on the day Jenny comes out with the new weeks coupon/sales match-ups for Publix, CVS & Walgreens. Before I even get my list finialized, if she has a coupon listed that I'm interested in for that week's sale, I go ahead and print it right then.

    • Sondra

Jenny, you are a God Send and I thank my Lord for giving you the knowledge, desire and patience to do what you do. You bless sooooo many families each week. I have been signed up for a few months now and do not go shopping before I spend my “couple hours” making my lists and collecting my coupons. I just “thought” I was a good couponer before I found your site. You are amazing!!!!!! Please, please keep doing what God has gifted you to do.
      Many Thanks,

    • wtpooh

Wow what a deal I got at CVS. Thanks SO MUCH for your information. Here is what went down. I was going in for 6 deoderants and 1 Aussie shampoo. I had 2 $3.00 off 2 Qs, 2 $1.50 off 1 Qs for the deoderant and 1 $1.00 off 1 for the Aussie shampoo. The deoderants were 2/$5. Well, they were misplaced. I picked up 2 that were in the 2/$5 deal and the other 4 were $4.97. I didn't catch it until I had already paid and was given my reciept. My total was $17.23. (I had ECB from last week that I paid with plus I still owed the $17.23) Well, when I didn't get my $5 ECB, I checked the reciept and realized I had paid almost $5 for each deoderant. I told the girl I had the wrong stuff and she returned my 4 deoderants and refunded me $23.67. Then I got the correct deoderant and she rang them up, scanned 2 of my $3 coupons and I ended up paying another $6.17. So, for about $0.27, I got 6 deoderants and 1 shampoo. Plus, I ended up with $6 ECB. Now, I'm not sure if that was the correct way for the girl to ring up this transaction. I was so confuse when I left that I wasn't ever sure if I had gotten a deal. After sitting down and figuring it out, I now realize exactly what I got. WOW!

    • I tried at 2 different stores to use the Cover Girl BOGO coupon for the lip stuff and was denied both places. Since when are lips not part of your face??? weird!
But, I did get 2 Sense & Spray, 2 S&S refills, 2 (4 oz.) candles and 6 Degree deodorant for .51 cents plus tax , so 2.59 OOP.

Jenny, please don't let the ungrateful, complaining people that get on here sometimes get you down!! You do an amazing thing for so many people!! We love you for it and proclaim your name & website everywhere!! We are your own “word of mouth” ad agency!! Who needs Pssst… or Firsttaste??? We've got you and you've got us!

    • twade

I'm not finding the starburst jelly bean coupon. Is there a certain zip code I should use? Thanks!

      • a_shrader

I had received it in a redplum insert.

I had a great trip to CVS today. I bought:
      6 deodorants
      2 Stayfrees
      2 Glade Sense & Spray
      4 Betty Crocker Warm Delights

      Used $10 ECB's
      2.61 oop (including tax)
      Got back $13 ECB's. Profit of 39¢!

    • kelli

this isn't really about cvs but I was wondering how many people had gotten their 10 Beauty for All Ages Rebate. My mom and I haven't gotten ours yet and they were mailed almost 2 months ago. If you've gotten it, did you SPEND $30 oop or did you buy $30 worth of products? my oop was very low after coupons and ecbs.

      • courtney_80

i received mine this week! i paid under $0.50 oop after mfc. coupons and the wags B1G1 50% off that actually rang up B1G1 FREE that week. i was really wondering about it since everyone had gotten so much conflicting info, but it arrived without issue.

    • debbiblack

My CVS has a price checker that gives coupons when you scan your CVS card. It lets you scan it twice. I got a $4 off $20 coupons and 2 CVS brand coupons.

    • Want2StayHome

Can you get the ECB's if you pay with ECB's, like if I was to buy the Princess movie, and use a $10 coupon could I pay for the difference in ECBs and still get Bucks back? I'm still very new to this. Thanks for any help.

      • Carrie

Yes. The only thing is, as I understand it, you still have to pay tax. So your OOP (out-of-pocket) can't be $0 or negative.

      • Mamaberry

ABSOLUTELY! That's the best part about CVS. They are very customer friendly, and this is exactly the type of “Rolling” you want to do with your ECB. Pay with ECB for items that print ECB and you will have little to no expenses in a lot of areas. Jenny has some awesome getting started articles. Go to the top of this page and check them out. You will find coupon policies, tips and everything you need to be 'armed'! Happy couponing and WELCOME!

    • Karen32174

It appears CVS ads are regional. I live in Florida and we did not get the $3 ECB wyb $10 in Easter Candy in our ad. But if I went to CVS's site and put in my old zip code of 23320 it showed the $3 ECB ad on I think it was page 3.

      • gery220

Yup that is correct. You will see a few differences, like the Edge ot Skintimate is 2/$4 here in Miami, Florida. But they are minor things and @ least we r gettig the deals before they come out.

    • Aurelia

I am sooooo excited….I got the terrific deal on deodorants today BUT I did not see the $2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads. I looked online at CVS and do not see these on sale. Do the sales vary from store to store????

    • 3monkeysmom

I have some coupons I need to get rid of. I got them in a home mailer from essentialsforlivingwell(dot)com and I can't use any of them but hate to throw them away. I always feel like I'm throwing actual money away if I throw a coupon in the garbage :-)
      The coupons are:
$1 off any OsCal Calcium Supplement
$1 off any Ecotrin Aspirin Therapy
$1 off any Citrucel with Smartfiber
$1 off any Feosol Iron Supplement
You can also go to essentialsforlivingwell(dot)com and register with them and get more coupons of these same items as well as a few others.
If anyone is interested let me know. They don't expire until May

      • Carrie

Any coupons you don’t use or have expired can be donated to a military base. They are allowed to use coupons up to 6 months after the expiration date. This is just one small way we can our military families. Here are a couple to try:http://www.ocpnet.org/Incirlik Coupon Program39FSS/FRFSUnit 7505, Box 175APO, AE 09824

Did anyone have luck with the P&G's Covergirl B1G1 coupon? It says B1G1 of FACE, not lip color, and apparently that only means foundation and powder. (Wish it had said that to begin with.)
Also, my SS coupon for Hersheys says $2 off THREE bags. If anybody bought Easter candy, I'd love to know how you did it. Thanks!!

      • Carrie

It seems to vary. Some of the women in the comments above were able to do the deal and some weren't. Evidently, it depends on the store.

    • tinaligon

I have a question… I live in Char. NC. I didn't see the stayfree deal 2 ECB wyb reg. stayfree 24 ct. in my ad. Is this only out in certain areas? Or should I just go to the store and see?

      • Suemh

Stayfree is a month long deal and is not in the weekly ads. It was not even tagged in my store. You just have to ask at the store.

      • DonnaTN

I priced checked it and it didn't show any ECB's but I just went ahead and got 2 and I got $4 ECB's back.

    • nicole

My red plum insert from Jackson MS had an Aussie Q -$2.00 off and an Herbal Essences Q for $1.00 off.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

On my receipts, Orbit 3-pack gum is counting towards the “Candy Total Purchase for $3 ECB” in my area stores. It will make even a better deal if you still have $1 Off Qs for the 3-pack gum. I will let you know in case ECB does not print after the total purchase.

    • Jennifer Meyer

I have a question… today in the parking lot of CVS I found a receipt that had a $4 off a $20 purchase q on it. I did grab it. I had someones name on it. Does anyone know if I can use it? I will try next time I go into the store, but thought I'd ask on here for now. For example, has anyone ever had a family member give them their printed coupons??? If That makes sense…

      • Carrie

Or you could just ask a manager about it. It might be a regular customer whom they know and would be able to return it to the person. That way you'll feel like a good samaritan. If they don't know the person then they may be able to tell you if you can just use it yourself without any guilt. Those CVS coupons might be tied in to the person's card so you might not be able to use it anyway.

      • kelli

I'm pretty sure you can't use it.

      • DonnaTN

You can't use it because it has there card number on it and you have to scan your card for your purchases so I don't think it will work. You may not get that $4 off.

    • Hesperides

Okay…my first negative CVS experience today… I wanted the B1G1 Purex 3-in-1 sheets and I had a coupon that had printed from Kroger. It says MANUFACTURER'S COUPON at the top and the # starts with a 5 but the cashier said, “I can't take store coupons”. I explained politely (as I could with two crazy boys running in circle around me) that it wasn't a store coupon, but she still refused. I asked if I could talk to the manager to ask their policy on the situation and she says, “Ma'am, I already know what he's going to say.” What do you think?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

She treated you like this based on her understanding that the Q. was a store Q. And the managers are not necessarily any better educated or informed than cashiers. If it has printed from the store receipt machines, then it is kinda fishy fishy and I have yet to figure out the legitimacy if it can be used anywhere-They are still manuf Qs and they simply print on “other machines” to reach out to consumer market. With that said, I would like to think that they should be used anywhere-particular store logos are just marketing gimmicks.

I would call the customer svce and see what they say. They are very nice and they would know exactly how these work. Please post here if you find out something concrete from CVS corporate office.

    • Ashley

btw I had a $2 off coupon for Aussie product from one of the inserts. With the sale of $2.99, I got the $2 off and 1 ECB back. So it was FREE.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Hold on to your Gillette Raszor purchase/Q. I think coming week is a better deal if you have the Q. $5 ECB wyb 4-8 ct. cartridge and the razor. So, use buy cartridge and get razor free Q. and get back $5ECB making the cost less than $10 for both-I think. It is better than getting $3 ECB this week for the same scenario

    • Thank you so much for helping me understand how CVS works! I am excited to go for my first time!!!!

    • a_shrader

I got a deal this morning, I think. I bought a Venus Breeze disposable 2 pack which are on sale and recieve $2 bucks back. Plus I had a $2 off coupon off the razon, and a coupon if you buy the Venus Breeze razor you got a free Olay Bodywash. I was worried it wouldn't work with the disposables, but it didn't say I couldn't use it with those. So the manager and I tried it and it went straight thru.

So my razors were reg $6.49, on sale for $4.49 get $2 ECB back and had a $2 off coupon
Olay Body was reg $7.49 free with coupon when you buy the razor.
$13.98 reg price. $2.49 plus tax (used a $3 ECB, so very little OOP) and still had a $2 ECB to boot.

    • DonnaTN

Thought everyone would like to know if you bought the Princess and the frog Movie you can also get a rebate when you buy 2 packages of success rice products if you didn't want to do the band aid one, you can also go to their website for the form.

      • DonnaTN

I found out there is also another rebate for this movie, wow must be a hot seller!! If you buy painters tape. Some only require photocopies so you won't need another receipt! Great deal on the movie!

    • crazy_days

Thank you so much for taking the time to put all of this together! There is one thing on the list both this week and last that I have not been able to find on the flyers. It is $2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads, Regular 24ct at $3.89 Limit 4. Does anyone know if this is a regional thing or if it is available even if it isn't in the flyer?

      • Suemh

I did this deal twice this week in 2 different stores (different towns). It is a monthly ECB deal and is not listed in the flyers. And the limit is 4.

    • jessicaan

If this was posted, I didn't see it. CVS in the charlotte area has oralb power toothbrushes for 4.99. I had a $3 man q from the paper (recent). Paid $1.99 for a $9 brush.

    • Lisa

From the same website as the degree deodeorant coupon they offer a Suave coupon for $3 off 2. My CVS has two packs of Suave deodeorant for $1.99. I know I could have used the coupon on just the one pack but went ahead and bought 2…

    • I'm new to SS…only done it a couple of weeks, and saved right at 50% of my total at Kroger both weeks. But here's the hoorah! I went CVSing and WAGing also today…which I don't normally go in to just shop. I walked into CVS and there at the door was a 50-90% off table and buggy. Get this…from the multiple clearance items and some other items I used coupons on, I bought $189 worth of merchandise for $33!! I got a $15 blow dryer for $1.50, among many other items (all stuff I could use) at 90% off. If I hadn't started SS, I would have never seen the sale! So…HOORAH!

    • helenbarnes03

i live in Birmingham, Al my local cvs will take expired q up to 2 weeks out. so they have their purex 3-in-1 bogo and i had an expired q for bogo, so got it for free + tax! :)

    • Pam

I had an awesome trip to CVS today for the first time in my 2 1/2 months or so of “serious” couponing. I did my first transaction with the 2 Right Guards & 1 Aussie Mega hair spray – used (2) $1.50 off Right Guard Q's & (1) $2 off Aussie product Q – total OOP was $3.63 & I got a $2ECB from the Right Guard; $1ECB from the Aussie; & the register printed a $2 off $10 Q.
      For my 2nd transaction I purchased 6 Degree deoderants (4 women's & 2 men's) for $15 – I had a $3 off $15 Q from e-mail, used (3) $3 off 2 Degree deoderants, then used the $2 off Q & $1ECB from my previous transaction for a total OOP of $1.20 – & got another $5ECB.
      Total purchased – 8 deoderants & a can of hair spray for $4.83 OOP & still have the $2ECB & $5ECB, so it's like I made a $2.17 profit! YAY!!!
I finally feel like I am beginning to understand CVSing & I am more addicted than ever to couponing!!!!
